Jeff Jarrett Planning New Wrestling Show?
Jeff Jarrett starting a new wrestling reality show?
As of late, wrestling is becoming the most accessible it has ever been. FOX picked up Smackdown Live, AXS TV will be airing Women of Wrestling, GLOW is one of the most popular shows on Netflix, and there have been various rumors about All Elite Wrestling.
You can add another possible show to the list as the Wrestling Observer Newsletter says Jeff Jarrett is contemplating an American Idol type TV show that is wrestling themed. Currently the potential judges are Scott Hall and Jim Cornette.
Jarrett has supposedly pitched the idea to the beIN Network, which is currently the home of the MLW promotion.
Jason’s Take
I’m not entirely sure how I feel about this. On the one hand, Hall and Cornette as judges will be a show in itself, but on the other hand, I would rather see the WWE produce another season of tough enough. Jeff Jarrett has always had a great mind for the business, so I am curious to see how this potential show plays out.
