WWE News: SmackDown Live Event Results From Uniondale, New York (12/27/18)

Results from last night’s WWE SmackDown Live Event!

Following up on their show Wednesday night in Chicago (find those results here), last night the WWE’s SmackDown Live roster was off to Uniondale, New York for a Live Event that saw a special guest in a big match.

After competing the previous night at Madison Square Garden for the RAW brand (see those results here), John Cena was in the house last night for SmackDown Live as he challenged Daniel Bryan for the WWE Title. Of course, this was due to AJ Styles missing his second straight show due to illness. On top of that, the card also featured a Triple Threat for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, as well as Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton continuing their feud in singles competition. Below are the results:

• The Miz hosted MizTV with Mustafa Ali, which leads to a match
• Mustafa Ali defeated The Miz
• R-Truth & Carmella defeated Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas & Zelina Vega
• Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson & Shelton Benjamin defeated Aiden English & The Colons, after the match SAnitY comes out and challenges the winners
• Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson & Shelton Benjamin defeated SAnitY
• Rey Mysterio defeated Randy Orton
• SmackDown Tag Title Triple Threat: The Bar retained over The New Day & The Usos
• Jeff Hardy defeated Samoa Joe
• WWE Title Steel Cage Match: Daniel Bryan retained over John Cena
• Lana & Naomi defeated Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville
• United States Title: Rusev retained over Shinsuke Nakamura
• SmackDown Women’s Title Triple Threat: Asuka retained over Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair
