WWE News: SmackDown Live Superstar Possibly Concussed At Live Event Last Night

Billie Kay may have suffered a concussion last night!

As has been noted, WWE Superstar Finn Balor returned to the road last night at the RAW Live Event in Bakersfield, California (see the story here, for results go here), meanwhile SmackDown Live was also on the road for a Live Event in Oakland.

The card for last night’s event featured a Women’s Tag Team Match as The IIconics, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce met the team of ‘The Ravishing Russian’ Lana and Naomi. While it’s not quite clear yet what exactly happened, as some reports claim Billie and Naomi collided heads during the match while others say that an errant knee from Lana struck Billie, it does appear as if she may have suffered a concussion.

It’s being said that after Billie Kay took a shot to the head, she looked very “dazed” and had a “blank look on her face” and her eyes appeared to be “glazed over”, which of course are all signs of a likely concussion. Of course, that is not confirmed at this time, however following the spot Billie would roll out to the floor and get checked on by the referee, who then used the standard “X” symbol to signify the injury.

Billie did not get back into the match, as Peyton would finish things up before ultimately Billie was able to make it to the back with a little bit of help. The Chairshot will provide any further updates on Billie Kay’s status as they become available.
