The news of the passing of WWE Hall Of Famer ‘Mean’ Gene Okerlund is without question a blow to the world of professional wrestling as millions of current talents, fans and people around the world grew up on that infamous voice whether it was the AWA, WWE or WCW (read more on ‘Mean’ Gene’s passing here).

Just heard Mean Gene Okerlund has passed away. As an interviewer, pitch man, announcer, or host, he was untouchable. Simply the best. Total professional with quick wit, sarcasm, humor, and that golden voice.
