WWE Backlash Is Now WWE Stomping Grounds?
You ready for…Stomping Grounds???
WWE presents Stomping Grounds in late June in Tacoma, Washington!
After reports that WWE was either moving or cancelling Backlash (planned for June), we now have confirmation that the event will be renamed (or that a new event will take place) as WWE Stomping Grounds. It goes down on June 23rd at The Tacoma Dome.

First off, I like the name. We’ve had WWE Backlash since 1999, and I’m not married to it. This feels fresh and new. The reaction isn’t all positive, but also isn’t to the level of Great Balls Of Fire. And that turned out to be a great show! So I’m board, let’s see how this goes.
