Samir & Sunil Singh still have Ever-Rise on their side, but they’re doing things their way again against fellow 205 Live Originals! Will this be another Bollywood Blockbuster? Or will the #PremierDinero bank another win together this close to TakeOver?

The teams sort out, Daivari starts against Samir, and the two circle. They tie up, Daivari pulls Samir’s hair and puts him in the corner. Daivari climbs up to rain down forearms and elbows, but lets off as the ref counts. Daivari CHOPS Samir, CLUBS him down, then stomps him for good measure. Nese taunts Samir, as does Daivari, and Daivari stomps Samir more. Tag to Nese, Nese brings Samir up to CHOP! Nese whips Samir, Samir leaps but into Nese’s arms! Nese pops Samir up but Samir rolls Nese, TWO! Samir gets around, crucifix takedown to the cover, TWO! Inside Cradle, TWO! Samir hits an arm-drag and armlock!

Tag to Sunil, the brothers double whip and double hip toss to double elbow drops! Cover, TWO! Sunil wrenches Nese’s arm, YANKS it, and again, then tags Samir. The Singhs mug Nese, Samir brings Nese around but Nese blocks the suplex. Nese scoops Samir, Samir slips out and waistlocks, but Daivari saves Nese from the O’Conner Roll. Samir runs back in, Nese gets away so Samir BLASTS Daivari off the apron! Daivari bounces off the desk but Nese CLOBBERS Samir! Nese tags Daivari while Sunil protests, but the #PremierDinero stomp away on Samir. Daivari stops as the ref counts and argues that he knows the rules, then drags Samir up.

Daivari lines up the shot and BOOTS Samir down! And again! Daivari eggs Samir on, stomps him more, then digs his boot in! Fans boo but Daivari drags Samir up to throw him out to the apron. Daivari brings Samir through ropes, throws haymakers while Samir is stuck, but the ref backs him off. Samir flops down, Daivari drags him over and mocks Bollywood before he stomps Samir down. Tag to Nese, Nese drags Samir into the body scissors! Nese squeezes, Samir endures and Sunil coaches his brother on. Nese rains down fists on Samir but fans rally up. Nese drags Samir up but Samir throw body shots. Samir shoves Nese away but is caught!

Samir kicks and flails to sunset flip, but Nese rolls through to spinning back KICK! Cover, TWO! Nese drags Samir over, tags Daivari, and Daivari drops knees! Daivari drops more knees, then stays between the Singh brothers. Daivari pushes Samir around then DECKS Sunil! Samir dodges Daivari but has no one to tag! Daivari clubs Samir on the back and drags him around to suplex. Samir slips out to a NECKBREAKER! Both men are down, Sunil returns, and fans fire up! Samir and Daivari crawl, hot tags to Nese and Sunil! Nese runs in but Sunil is the one who rallies! Sunil DECKS Daivari in return, BOOTS Nese then leaps to FLYING CLOTHESLINE!

Sunil gets Nese up for the atomic drop to WHEEL KICK! Cover, TWO! Fans fire up, Sunil drags Nese up and Samir coordinates with him. Tag to Samir, Sunil hits a BACKBREAKER, but Daivari dropkicks Sunil in the back! Nese gets up to SHORYUKEN Samir! Nese drags Samir off the corner, tags Daivari, and Daivari climbs. POWERSLAM to LION SPLASH! Cover, but Sunil breaks it! Sunil saves his brother but everyone’s down! Fans rally up, Sunil forgets he’s not legal and the ref wants him to know that. Nese whips Sunil but Sunil sends Nese out. Daivari runs in but he’s sent out! Samir springboard CROSSBODIES them both down!

Samir puts Daivari back in, climbs up top as Daivari staggers, FLYING ELBOW! Tag to Sunil and he goes up top, to MACHO ELBOLLY BOLLY BOLLY! Cover, Nese breaks it! Samir CLUBS away on Nese but Nese throws body shots! Nese whips, Samir reverses but Nese kicks back! Samir clotheslines Nese out hard, but runs around into Daivari’s URENAGE! Sunil rolls Samir up! TWO!! SUPER- NO! Daivari blocks the kick, spins Sunil and hammerlocks, LION’S LARIAT!! Daivari & Nese win!

August Grey VS Ashante “Thee” Adonis!

Both #RetroAG and The Braggadocios have been building momentum slowly but surely, and now these two collide in a showdown of the new wave! But with the NXT Cruiserweight Championship Unification on the horizon, who will be in pole position of the title chase?

The bell rings and Adonis circles with Grey. Fans are on Grey’s side but Adonis shrugs that off. They tie up, Adonis gets the arm, wrenches to a wristlock, but Grey reaches for a leg. Adonis cranks the arm, Grey rolls to wrench back, but Adonis wrenches again. Grey reaches and gets a ropebreak, then slips through the ropes to bring Adonis around the corner, and he wrenches Adonis back! Adonis slaps the wristlock away and resets with Grey. They tie up, Grey waistlocks, but Adonis bucks, only to end up in the O’Conner Roll! TWO, but Grey rebounds for a Superman Clutch! TWO, Adonis ducks a haymaker, runs, and turns back drop into sunset flip!

Grey sits on the cover, TWO and Adonis finishes the sunset! Grey rolls through, gets the legs and catapults Adonis into buckles! Roll up, TWO! Adonis headlocks, Grey powers out, but Adonis runs him over! Grey grabs at Adonis but he runs and things speed up. Grey leaps but into Adonis’ POWERSLAM! Cover, ONE!! Adonis CLUBS Grey down, drags him up, and CLUBS him against ropes! The ref reprimands and counts, Adonis brings Grey around for a hair-smoothing Rude Awakening! Cover, TWO! Fans rally while Grey grits his teeth and catches his breath. Adonis brings Grey up, bumps him off buckles but runs into a boot!

Grey bumps Adonis off buckles, but Adonis dodges the haymaker to RAM into Grey! Adonis throws a BIG uppercut, then CLUBS Grey on the back. Grey ends up in another corner, Adonis whips him corner to corner HARD! Cover, TWO! Grey grits his teeth again while Adonis keeps his cool. Adonis pushes Grey down, drags him around, and drops an elbow. Fans rally and duel, Adonis drops more elbows, but Grey dodges! Adonis shakes out the arm, Grey throws body shots, but Adonis forearms back! These two brawl back and forth, Adonis knees low and whips, to SPINEBUSTER! Cover, TWO! Grey is still in this but Adonis keeps focus.

Adonis brings Grey up at the ropes with a chinlock, grinds him down, and thrashes him about as fans start to rally. Grey fights up, Adonis throws him down with the chinlock, but Grey keeps fighting. Adonis squeezes tight and thrashes more as the fans duel. The ref checks with Grey but he’s still fighting. Grey fights up, throws body shots, Adonis CLUBS Grey but Grey throws haymakers! They brawl again with big forearms, Grey gets the edge but Adonis shoves him for the AirDrop! Grey flops out of the ring and a ring count starts. Adonis catches his breath while Grey drags himself up to the apron. Adonis drags Grey up the rest of the way but Grey shoulders into him!

Grey goes to the corner, counter punches Adonis but Adonis grabs an arm! Grey fights that, to YANK Adonis into buckles! Grey goes up, springboard CROSSBODY! Adonis flounders up into haymakers and CHOPS from Grey! Grey LARIATS, back elbows, and then spins Adonis to a jawbreaker and NECKBREAKER! Grey kips up and fires up with the fans, scooping for the EMERALD FLOWSION! Cover, TWO! Adonis survives and Grey grows a little frustrated. Grey gets Adonis up again, reels him in, back suplex but Adonis lands on his feet! Adonis shoves Grey and hits a FLAPJACK! Adonis kips up now and he fires up, too!

Fans rally and duel, Adonis pumps up and runs to do his dance, and drops the SWAG HAMMER! Adonis goes to a corner, climbs up top, Grey stands up for the CROSSBODY! But Grey rolls through, TWO!! Grey wants a waistlock, Adonis switches and spins him, the discus is a feint for the SPINNING ROUNDHOUSE! Cover, TWO!! Grey survives and Adonis grows frustrated now. Adonis drags Grey back up, Grey ROCKS him then reels him into chicken wings! SO MUCH- NO! Adonis shoves Grey, Grey’s leg jams but Grey still dodges! Adonis runs in but is sent into buckles! Grey gets the chicken wings again, SO MUCH PRETTIER!! Cover, Grey wins!!

Winner: August Grey, by pinfall

The hot streak gets hotter as Grey gets to four wins in a row! Wait, wait, wait. Daivari returns, and raises Grey’s hand in victory?! Grey breaks free of Daivari, none of this is because of him! But will Grey still have to worry about the Persian Lion when he should be focused on the future undisputed Cruiserweight Champion?

My Thoughts:

Another good 205 Live for another solid 30 minutes. The tag match was pretty good, and it seems to work that Daivari & Nese win. They may not have started as a tag team like the Singh Brothers, but Nese and Daivari have been stronger on 205 Live so them winning keeps them strong on 205 Live. I do hope there is hope for them as a tag team in the NXT Tag Division since we’re going to be down Lorcan & Burch for half a year, and we’re out of the Undisputed Era combinations now that the group is broken up and Bobby Fish is still out injured. Even if Daivari & Nese just end up jobbers to the stars, at least they’d be on NXT from time to time, like Ever-Rise are.

Grey VS Adonis was a very good match, and it definitely makes a good case for Grey moving up to get his turn at a title opportunity. Escobar VS Devlin could go either way as a Ladder match, but I have a feeling it will be Escobar winning just for the ease of taking on the rest of the Cruiserweights in the States since there are plenty of choices left on 205 Live. A bit of a shame for Devlin, he’s been the better character and wrestler, but WWE will of course do the thing that’ll work better for them, even if this is all NXT.
