AEW Dark continues in the Universal Studio Arena in Orlando, Florida! And it’s a big card at 15! And in the main event, it’s ADAM COLE BAYBAY!

QUICK NOTES

So 13 matches makes for another long Dark. And it seems “Infinito” is possibly just Bryan Danielson in disguise, the same way Cody Rhodes was “Fuego 2.” Not sure what this is about, AEW coming up with original characters and giving them to their bigger name wrestlers. Is AEW trying to do what Impact did with Suicide/Manik? Or what WWE seems to do almost all the time with new/incoming wrestlers. Or is it also that Dark is too small time for Cody and Bryan but those guys still want to be part of the show? And yet, Adam Cole is here as Adam Cole, so it’s probably more the former.

AFTER NOTES

So many short matches with obvious results, doesn’t really make this big episode of Dark feel all that big or important. Julia Hart VS Nikita Knight was ugly because neither is all the experienced, and Nikita drops Julia right on her head in a rough botch. Just… yikes. As for Bryan Danielson maybe in disguise as Infinito, even more pointless when it’s just for the goofs. Why not just have Bryan Danielson actually on Dark to give the fans something great to see as he kicks some dude’s head in? The gimmick should be given to a guy who has nothing to do right now instead of one of the best to do it in this generation.
