QUICK NOTES

Didn’t think Dark would go to such a big card again, but 15 is going to be one huge episode. 2point0 make a good warm-up for the team of Sydal & Moriarty before they take on Lio Rush & Dante Martin. Warhorse returning to AEW is great to see. Gunn Club taking on Evil Uno, Colt Cabana & Alex Reynolds is going to be a great match. Another good tune-up in the Six Man Tag for Christian, Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus. The return of “Too Fast Too Fuego” is hilarious. That is a pretty big Six Woman Tag to feed into the TBS Championship Tournament. Darby being on the card is great, he’ll get eyes on and he’ll get a great tune-up for his Full Gear match.

AFTER WATCHING

Holy crap this thing was an hour and 50. A lot of matches with the usual quick squash, but Too Fast Too Fuego VS The Factory is a lot of fun just for how we all have to pretend Fuego Dos isn’t Cody Rhodes. We get another attack from Men of the Year on Inner Circle, obviously keeping the build going for the Universal Studio audience. I like that they did what I was hoping with the Lio and Martin story: Lio cheats for Martin so that he wins, but Martin doesn’t know it. This will definitely blow up in Lio’s face at some point, maybe once Darius Martin is ready to return so that Top Flight can reunite and kick Lio to the curb.

A good Six Woman Tag, another sore loser attack from Sakura and the Heels, but Ruby Soho got to help run them off this time. Ruby and Statlander kept it civil, and they’re going to have a very good Face VS Face match in the tournament, that I’m still confident Ruby wins. Great to see that Moriarty gets a win, though Sydal got the finish. Duh, Nyla wins, she’s gaining a lot of momentum to perhaps make Shida’s win in the TBS Championship Tournament feel even bigger. It was obvious Andrade was going to win but couldn’t they give Warhorse a better showing? Team Taz winning makes some sense since they need some momentum while not really in a feud.

Didn’t realize it at the time but Miranda Gordy is Terry Gordy’s daughter, so that’s cool. But wow, this was insanely quick, Conti is going into Full Gear red hot. Duh Wardlow wins, and then I was surprised Darby wasn’t the main. But at the same time, fans love Jungle Boy and Jurassic Express, they get a good win here to build their own momentum towards the Falls Count Anywhere Six Man.
