The Relentless One continues to be a fighting champion, and he accepted the challenge of the Bullet Club’s Rock Hart Booster! But will Darby get caught California Dreamin’? Or will this be as close as Juice gets to being a star in Hollywood?
The belt is raised, the bell rings, and the fans rally up as Darby and Juice stare down. They step up, tie up, and Juice powers Darby to ropes. The ref counts, Juice lets off at 4, but Darby avoids the cheap shot. Darby and Juice reset, tie up, and Darby goes for an arm. Juice waistlocks and SLAMS Darby down. Juice floats all over Darby, slaps him around and eggs him on, then waistlocks again. Darby gets to ropes and the ref counts. Juice lets off but with a pie face. The ref reprimands, but Darby lets that one slide. Darby and Juice go again. Darby gets around to headlock. Juice powers up but can’t power out as Darby holds on.
Juice tries again but Darby still holds on. Darby grinds the hold but Juice lifts Darby! Darby hits a flying takeover! Juice endures the grind, Darby fights off the headscissor attempts, but Juice fights up to hit a BIG back suplex! Darby writhes and fans boo Juice, but Juice drops a SENTON, onto knees! Darby clamps onto Juice with another headlock and fans rally up. Juice fights up, pries the hold open, but Darby wraps it on tighter. Juice throws body shots, back suplexes, but Darby lands on his feet to arm-drag Juice around! Fans fire up as Darby keeps moving, but Juice TOSSES Darby up and out! Darby writhes from his crash landing!
Juice goes out to drag Darby up, and whip him hard into railing! Juice grins as he drags Darby up, and he whips Darby into the steel steps! Darby sputters and fans boo but Juice soaks it all up. Juice goes into the ring, the ring count climbs, but then Juice goes back out. Juice drags Darby up to ROCK Darby! Juice then lifts Darby up for a SNAKE EYES off the steps! Darby clutches his ribs and flops back while Juice flexes and Rampage goes picture in picture.
Darby gest into the ring but Juice grins. Juice goes to the very top, Darby stands up, and Juice drops AX HANDLES! Juice paces around Darby, rains down fists, and the ref reprimands about the closed fists. Juice lets off, he digs his boot into Darby’s face, then mocks the fans like he can’t hear them. Juice storms up on Darby in the corner, drags him up and suplexes, to hold Darby up! Then he SLAMS Darby down! And then drops a STANDING SPLASH! Cover, TWO! Juice is annoyed but Darby is still in this. Darby sits up, Juice pumps up, and he waits on Darby. Darby stands as Rampage returns to single picture, for the JAB! JAB! JAB!
Fans chant “JUICE!” with every punch! Juice winds up, but he CHOPS Darby down! Darby flounders to a corner, Juice runs in but into BOOTS! Darby goes around Juice to then SHOTGUN him back into the corner! Fans fire up as Juice bails out, and Darby runs to DIVE! Direct hit and Juice is sent into the railing! Darby puts Juice in the ring, runs again, and COFFIN- BLINDSIDE LARIAT from Juice! Darby staggers up, into a LEG LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Darby survives but Juice kicks him around. Juice hits a SENTON! Fans rally as Darby writhes and Juice hits another SENTON! Fans boo but Juice grins as he looms over Darby.
Juice sets up for another SENTON! Cover, TWO! Darby survives being crushed but Juice just goes to a corner. Juice climbs up, aims, and SUPER FLOPS as Darby moves! Darby catches Juice to a ghost pin, TWO! But Darby holds on to throw elbows! Juice fireman’s carries for the JUICE BOX! Cover, TWO!! Darby survives that gutbuster and fans rally back up! Darby crawls to the corner, Juice aims from the opposite end. Juice calls his shot, runs in, but the CANNONBALL hits buckles! Darby hops on, CODE RED! Cover, TWO!! Juice survives but now Darby goes up top! But Juice trips him up! Fans boo but Juice CHOPS Darby!
Juice CHOPS Darby again, and CHOPS him! Darby ends up on the ropes and Juice goes up the corner, FLYING LARIAT! Down goes Darby, and Juice drags him back up! Suplex, into the JACKHAMMER! Cover, TWO!!! Darby survives the #JuiceHammer, and Juice can’t believe it! Juice drags Darby up to CHOP him again! Juice puts Darby up top, HEADBUTTS him, then climbs up after him. Juice brings Darby up for a stalling- SUPER SCORPION DEATH DROP!!! Darby turns things around and heads right back up! Fans are thunderous for the COFFIN DROP!!! Cover, Darby wins!!

They head to Yokohama, Japan next week to be part of WrestleKingdom 17’s second night, NJPW VS NOAH! They team with THE Great Muta in his farewell match, will they send him off in style?

Standing at day 114, please welcome the Forever Champs, the People’s Choice, the People’s Voice, and everyone’s favorite AEW World Tag Team Champions, The Acclaimed! LA fires up as Max Caster, Anthony Bowens & “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn walk out! Caster says, “Yo! Listen! Acclaimed got hot ’til they had to do somethin’. Survived more scandals than Gavin Newsome! So you know there’s no stoppin’ ’em. They used to hide us like Joe Biden hides documents!
“And I don’t front, yo, it was bumpy. But we never once had to sell out for blood money! And now we on the Walk of Fame! Because in Hollywood, everyone loves The Acclaimed!” Bowens takes the mic to say, “LOOOOOS ANGELEEEEES~! The Acclaimed have arrived! SCISSOR ME, DADDY ASS~!” And they do~! The music stops and fans sing “OH~ Scissor Me, Daddy~!” Bowens says they have listened to the fans sing week after week after week, and they love it! And it all leads to tonight here in the Mecca of Entertainment, where Bowens currently resides, the City of Angels, BEAUTIFUL Los Angeles!
And The Acclaimed are in the Mecca of Pro-Wrestling, and that is A! E! W!! LA, Bowens wants to ask a favor as this is an amazing, amazing night. He wants everyone from the front row to the back to the vendors and the doctors to Chris Jericho and Jim Ross and Excalibur! Everyone here in the Kia Forum, throw your fingers up, your scissors and signs, high to the sky! Tonight, the Acclaimed cement their legacy so that all generations will know that EVERYONE! LOVES! THE ACCLAIMED!! The Acclaimed then return to the top of the stage and the cement, to… be interrupted by the Gunn Sons?!
Colten Gunn says “Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa! I mean, my god! You guys had National Scissor Day: trash. You had Daddy Ass’s birthday celebration: garbage. And now you’ve got whatever this is. And on top of that, it’s in this bum ass city!” Fans boo but Austin says, “Aww, did we hurt your feelings? Yeah, yeah. Newsflash: you guys are NOT stars! WE are the stars!” And the only reason The Acclaimed is popular is because they stole Billy away from the Gunns! Billy mocks his own sons, “Boo-hoo-hoo!” But Austin says that if anyone deserves part of the Walk of Fame, it’s the Gunn Sons! Fans call them “ASS~ BOYS~!” instead.
Billy tells The Acclaimed that maybe, they’re right. Yes, sometimes a dad’s gotta do what a dad’s gotta do, wink wink. So he says Austin & Colten can go right ahead. Austin says that’s right! The Gunns raise their hands over the cement, but then the Acclaimed PANTS THEM!! They’re in briefs! And Austin’s might be riding up… They turn around in shock and embarrassment, and then Billy shoves them into the cement! Now they’re feeling em-bare-assed in the cement! Austin & Colten scramble out of the cement, and The Acclaimed will just have to try again another time. Will the Gunns have a hard time getting over this one?

Renee is with Swerve Strickland, Parker Boudreaux, the still anonymous tattooed man, and a few other guests of Swerve’s as she asks just what the objective of this group even is. Swerve stops her there to say he got tired of beating people’s asses the last couple of weeks. So when he came out to LA, he decided to do some Mogul Affiliate things. He’s got a top notch business acumen, so he of course goes to Bad Boy’s Quincy and King Combs, the son of Sean Combs. Swerve lets them tell everyone what’s up.
King says you know they can’t stop, won’t stop. This is a real Bad Boy affair. He’s got his boys here with him, and look, King has love for AEW. If they want the smoke, “y’all know who to holla at.” But not only that. Like Swerve said, in 2023, Mogul Affiliates will be the most violent, gruesome faction you’ve ever seen. So then the havoc they’ve wreaked so far is only the beginning. What more will Swerve and his affiliates do in order to take over AEW?
Eddie Kingston & Ortiz VS The Kings of the Black Throne!
The Mad King and one of his closest friends have been itching for this fight ever since that violent return by Malakai Black and his cohorts. But a seed of dissention was planted, and it seems to be growing. Can Kingston & Ortiz survive this battle? Or will they be torn down by the Dark Father and the Big Bad Monster?
The teams sort out, except Eddie and Ortiz argue about it. Fans cheer for Eddie, but Ortiz fires off on Brody first! Brody shoves him away, Ortiz comes right back, and Brody throws him to a corner. Ortiz comes back again but into a CHOP! Ortiz falls, but he gets right back up to fire off CHOPS and forearms! Brody CHOPS again and Ortiz staggers away. Brody eggs Ortiz on, Ortiz stands to CHOP and forearm again! Brody ROCKS Ortiz, kicks him low, and CHOPS him again! Brody whips, Ortiz slides to a stop and comes back to dropkick legs out! Ortiz runs to then SHOTGUN Brody down! Fans fire up and Ortiz facelocks to bring Brody over.
Eddie hesitates, but Ortiz throws the distrust back at him, so Eddie tags in! Eddie half nelsons but Brody breaks free. Brody elbows Eddie but Eddie shoves him away. Eddie dares Malakai to get in, so Malakai tags! Fans fire up as Mad King and Dark Father circle. They tie up, go around, Malakai clinches but Eddie powers Malakai to ropes. They end up in a corner, the ref counts but Malakai knees low! Malakai whips corner to corner, Eddie reverses but Malakai goes up and over. Malakai keeps moving, but runs into a CHOP! Fans “WOO~!” and fire up but Malakai just walks it off. Malakai KICKS Eddie, but Eddie just roars!
Eddie spins, but Malakai ducks the Uraken! Malakai spins, but Eddie ducks the Black Mass! Eddie sits cross-legged to mock Malakai! Malakai sits down cross-legged so he can stare Eddie down, and fans fire up! The two talk some trash while Rampage goes picture in picture.
Eddie stands up but Brody runs in to BOOT him back down! Ortiz rushes in but Malakai BOOTS him down! Brody goes out to send Eddie into railing, and CHOP! And CHOP! Malakai is after Ortiz at the ramp, and he throws knees and KICKS against the railing! Brody brings Eddie around, and he whips him into railing, only for Eddie to come back with a LARIAT! Eddie gets in the ring, as does Malakai, and they tie up. Malakai headlocks, throws elbows to fight Eddie’s lift, then runs. Ortiz is there so Malakai DECKS him! Malakai then goes back to Eddie, but Eddie hits an STO! Cover, TWO! Malakai goes to a corner, Eddie runs in, but blocks a boot!
But then Malakai shifts to KNEE Eddie away! And then Malakai sweeps the legs! Brody runs in, he drops a SENTON! Malakai goes to the apron to ASAI MOONSAULT Ortiz down! Malakai then goes back to Eddie in the ring, stomps him around, but Eddie just snarls at him. Malakai throws more kicks but Eddie eggs him on. Malakai KICKS, but Eddie pokes him in the eye! The ref reprimands but Malakai BOOTS Eddie down! Malakai rains down fists, then drops a knee right on Eddie’s face! Ortiz wants after Malakai but the ref holds him back. Malakai stares at Ortiz, but he drags Eddie back to tag in Brody.
The Kings of the Black Throne double whip Eddie to ropes, then DOUBLE ELBOW him down! Brody drags Eddie up, CHOPS him, and Eddie ends up in the corner. Eddie fires off hands and CHOPS on Malakai and Brody, until Brody CHOPS him down! Eddie is trapped in enemy territory as Rampage goes to break.
Rampage returns as Brody storms around, and fans bark along with him. Brody runs corner to corner for a CANNONBALL! Brody drags Eddie to a cover, but Ortiz breaks it! Ortiz DECKS Malakai, drags Eddie over, but Eddie tells him to back off? Ortiz has no choice, the ref has him go back to his corner, but Ortiz holds out his hand. Ortiz shouts for Eddie to tag him in but Brody snarls as he wants Eddie to stand up. Eddie rises, Brody runs in, for a LARIAT! But Eddie’s right back up! Brody runs in, into an ENZIGURI! Brody wobbles, into a HALF ‘N’ HALF! Fans fire up and both men are down!
Brody and Eddie stir as a standing count climbs. Eddie growls and stands up. Eddie heads over to the corner, but he is still hesitant. But Brody tags Malakai in! Malakai runs in, but Eddie feeds him to a haymaker from Ortiz! And then Eddie reels Malakai in. Malakai fights free, only for Ortiz to hit a step-in DDT! Malakai stagger sup, into a clinch! EXPLODER! Cover, TWO!! Malakai survives and Eddie grows frustrated. Fans chant, “TAG YOUR PARTNER!” Eddie brings Malakai up, but he doesn’t listen to the fans! URA- NO, Malakai ducks, for a JUMP ELBOW! But Eddie CHOPS! Malakai forearms, Eddie fires off fast hands!
Eddie runs, but Malakai blocks the boot for a JUMP KNEE! Eddie looks out, but Malakai lifts him back up with his foot. But Ortiz LEAPS in, into a JUMP KNEE! But Eddie hits a SAIDO! And a LARIAT! Eddie high stacks, TWO!! Malakai survives, Brody gets in, URAKEN!! Brody tumbles out to the floor, but here comes BUDDY MATTHEWS! The Aussie Juggernaut has a chair! He slides in, but Eddie stands right on the chair! Buddy looks up at Eddie, and Eddie dares him to do something. But then Julia Hart sneaks in. She grabs at Eddie, he turns around with the chair, but she shrieks! Ortiz snatches the chair from Eddie and gets upset with Eddie!!
Eddie tries to get Ortiz to understand what was going on but Ortiz just sees Eddie ready to hit a woman with a chair! Eddie wants Ortiz to just let off, but Malakai storms up. Malakai turns Ortiz around, but he ducks, so the BLACK MASS hits Eddie!! Ortiz knees Malakai but Malakai shoves him away! Cover on Eddie, KINGS OF BLACK THRONE WIN!

And then Buddy SMOTHERS Ortiz with a sleeper!! Eddie & Ortiz got played like fiddles, but Malakai wants Ortiz to know he did good. Ortiz is furious, but then Buddy throws Ortiz back into the ring. Ortiz grabs the chair, he’s no one’s puppet! But is he at least a pawn in this chess game the House is playing?
Backstage interview with Jade Cargill.
Lexi Nair is with the UNDEFEATED AEW TBS Champion and her last Baddie standing, Leila Grey. Lexi says we saw at Battle of the Belts that there is clearly tension between Jade and Red Velvet. What exactly is going on? Jade pretends not to know who Velvet is and what Lexi is talking about. “You mean somebody that I made? Red Velvet is just jealous that somebody like Leila is bigger, brighter, and better than she could ever be.” Jade tells Lexi that what she should be asking is how she feels about her upcoming 50th win. And Leila says, “Yes, girl! And we’re going to achieve that without Red Velvet.” Jade says Velvet is done, finito, finished. Leila tells Velvet, “You’re out, I’m in.”
Jade says that they’ve got better things to do. They leave, but will #ThatBitch reach 50 wins still undefeated?
Renee is in the ring with Paul Walter Hauser.
Fans cheer for the Golden Globe winning actor, who is showing off said award in the ring. Renee says he won his Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Blackbird, which was incredible. And during this career defining moment, in his acceptance speech, he shined a light on pro-wrestling with “GET THE TABLES!” What have the last few days been like for him? Paul takes the mic to say that he just loves pro-wrestling. It is an honor to be here tonight with the fans, seriously. He is a lifelong fan of acting, he pours his heart and soul into it, just as Renee’s husband, Jon Moxley, does with this sport.
And Paul has to say, as much as he loves film and TV, he loves nothing more than pro-wrestling. Fans like the sound of that! Paul says if given the chance, he always skips past Hartford, Connecticut to go straight to Jacksonville, Florida! Because in AEW, you never know what’s gonna happen. And speaking of, here comes DANHAUSEN! He said he heard a lot of talk about awards just now, and Danhausen won an award. He as the number one merchandise seller in AEW! YES! That’s right, and that’s all thanks to his #fanhausens. But there seems to be a problem. It appears that Danhausen, aka him, was NOT given a physical award. Fans boo, that’s not fair.
Danhausen feels he therefore deserves Paul’s Golden Globe! What? Fans like that, but Paul isn’t so sure. But y’know what? Paul asks the fans: should the new name of this award be the Golden Globehausen? YES! But wait, here comes Team Triple J! Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett, Sonjay Dutt & Satnam Singh all head to the ring, and Sonjay has a mic. Paul wants a timeout! He knows this is their show, but this isn’t Memphis! This is Paul’s turf of Los Angeles, California! Fans cheer for Paul stepping up!
Paul continues with, “So before you say ‘Slap ass this,’ and ‘I’m a Hall of Famer,’ and ‘I invented the Figure Four,’ lemme just say this. You look like a woman who would own a Crunch Fitness. You’ve never even played a guitar that you literally bring everywhere. And if I gotta be honest, your guys here, they look like they’re dressed for a homeschool prom.” Sonjay gets in Paul’s face, but Paul DECKS him! But then Satnam grabs Danhausen! And Lethal DECKS Paul! Satnam keeps Danhausen trapped while Lethal & Sonjay stand Paul up! Jarrett has his guitar! Paul Walter Hauser takes a SMASH HIT!!!
Fans are losing their minds, many boo and flip Triple J off, but then Satnam brings Danhausen around. Lethal has the Globehausen! But here come BEST FRIENDS!! Orange Cassidy takes his time, but Trent Beretta & Chuck Taylor rush the ring! Triple J bails out, but the damage has been done! They beat down Paul and stole his Golden Globe, will they earn the award for Worst People in AEW?

Lethal did earn something: an All-Atlantic Championship match with Orange Cassidy this Wednesday on Dynamite! Lethal and his cronies stole a Golden Globe, will they find a way to steal Cassidy’s title?

“Well, it looks like these women are about to get violent. IT’S TIME! For the maaain~ event!” Guess that means we’re way past talking! This has escalated for so long, this is the only way it can end! TayJay is too busy doing their secret handshake and flipping off fans to notice Ruby & Willow running up behind them! Willow CRACKS Jay with a hockey stick! And Ruby CLUBS Tay from behind! The bell rings to get this on record as Ruby & Willow bring TayJay around and fire off forearms! Willow BOOTS Jay down and Soho BOOTS Tay! Fans fire up with the camo-clad duo. And to go further into Dudleyville, Soho shoves Willow and shouts, “GET THE TABLES~!” Fans fire up with Willow, and she goes looking. She brings a table out from under the stage, Ruby brings Tay around, but Jay CLUBS Ruby down the ramp!
Jay shoves Ruby further along but Willow goes after Tay. Willow RAMS Tay into railing, Jay RAMS Ruby into the apron! Tay elbows Willow away, Jay holds onto Ruby’s wrist for the HOOK KICK! And then Jay whips Ruby into the POST! The refs want this to get in the ring, Willow puts Tay in to oblige. But Jay SMACKS Ruby off the timekeeper’s table! And the bell! And then again! Willow drags Tay to a corner, and climbs up from the outside! Willow brings Tay up but Jay RAMS Ruby into steel steps! Tay fights Willow, and she HOTSHOTS her off the top rope! Fans rally, but Jay puts a trash can around Ruby! Jay then pushes Ruby over for Tay to DOUBLE STOMP!
Ruby crawls out of the trash can, and she’s badly busted open! Jericho is so proud of TayJay while Rampage goes picture in picture.
Ruby crawls around, Willow and the refs check on her, but Tay sends chair after chair into the ring. Tay tells fans to kiss this, then she goes to fetch Willow. Tay puts her in the ring and Anna sets up chairs. Tay stomps Willow, CLUBS her, then helps Anna with the chairs. They have a chair square, and Tay brings Willow up, only for Willow to fight back! Tay ROCKS Willow! Willow staggers but she hits Tay back. Jay brings Ruby into the ring, makes her take a seat, and then Jay CLUBS her. Tay headlock punches Willow, makes her sit next to Ruby, and then TayJay sit across from them. TayJay wanna go deathmatch slap fight with Ruby & Willow!
TayJay ROCK Ruby & Willow first! So Ruby & Willow ROCK them back! TayJay ROCK Ruby & Willow, but Ruby & Willow ROCK them back again! They go back and forth, Willow kicks and Ruby CHOPS! TayJay fire off, and Jay even digs her fingers into Ruby’s bloody forehead! Tay stands up to SUPERKICK Willow out of her chair! Jay pushes Ruby over, Tay kicks Willow out of the ring. TayJay then focus on Ruby, and they SMACK her off a chair! Ruby hits back with haymakers on Tay, but Tay ROCKS her with a forearm! Jay goes outside to CLUB Willow, and she grabs a kendo stick. Ruby and Tay go back and forth, Tay ROCKS Ruby!
Jay hits Willow with the stick but Willow hits Jay back with a trash can lid! Tay reels Ruby in, hammerlocks an arm, DD-TAY to a chair! Ruby flounders away while Willow beats Jay down with the lid! Tay goes out to CLOBBER Willow! Jay JAMS Willow with the stick, Tay SMACKS Willow with it! TayJay regroup, put the busted can in the ring, and Tay SUPERKICKS Willow down. Tay drags Willow up, puts her in, and Jay drags her over to the can. TayJay spins Willow around, but Willow fights off the Gory Especial! Tay ROCKS Willow, Jay hooks her up, but Willow still fights! Rampage returns to single picture as Tay ROCKS Willow again!
Jay lifts Willow in the Gory Especial, Tay helps out, ASSISTED GORY BOMB onto the crushed trash can!! Jay covers, TWO!!! Willow survives and LA fires up! Ruby is still bleeding all over as Tay stomps her down. Tay looks under the ring, and she brings out barbed wire! She hands that off to Jay and we know what she’s done with that before! She slips her arm inside it, stalks up to Willow, BARBED WIRE QUEENSLAYER!!! Willow endures, RAMS Jay into the corner, and Ruby climbs up! Ruby has her fist wrapped up in a steel chain! She rains down STEEL CHAIN PUNCHES on Jay’s head!!
Fans are thunderous as Jay lets Willow go, but then Tay SMACKS Ruby on the back with a trash can lid! Ruby is stuck up top, and fans chant for “E C DUB!” as Tay drags chairs over. Tay makes a chair pile, she CLUBS Ruby on the back, and then makes sure everything is lined up. Tay climbs up, Jay joins in, but then Willow adds on! TOWER OF DOOM onto the chair pile!!! Tay hurries in with a chair and she SMACKS Willow on the back! Tay reels Willow in, CLUBS away on her, and then roars as she runs! But Willow hits a SPINEBUSTER! And then a CANNONBALL onto the can on Anna Jay!! Willow drags Jay to a cover, TWO!!! Jay survives and Willow is a bit frustrated. “This is Awesome!” and still going as Willow stalks Jay to the apron. Willow drags Jay up, fireman’s carries, and then APRON DEATH VALLEY DRIVERS!!! Fans are thunderous, but Willow isn’t done! Willow drags Jay up, but Tay SMACKS Willow with another trash can lid! Willow goes down but Ruby fires off on Tay! NO FUTURE KICK!!
Ruby has a crimson mask, Willow and Jay crawl up the ramp. Ruby grabs the timekeeper’s table and brings it over! Fans love where this is going, but speaking of, Willow and Jay brawl at the top of the ramp. Ruby positions her table, but Willow ducks Jay’s hook kick to haul her up! Remember that other table? Willow SIT OUT POWERBOMBS off the ramp and through that table!!! Willow takes more of table than Jay, but Jay takes more of the floor than Willow!!! As for Tay and Ruby, they fight on the apron! Ruby kicks low, reels Tay in, but her back won’t let her lift! Tay ROCKS Ruby, reels her in now, Gotch lift for a PILEDRIVER through the table!!!
Fans are losing their minds as Tay drags Ruby up and into the ring! Tay covers, TWO!??!?! Ruby survives and no one can believe it! Tay hurries to get something more, and she brings out a black bag… Tay has a sinister grin as she gets in the ring with it. Tay stomps Ruby, then she pours out thumbtacks! Tay drags Ruby over, hooks her up, but Ruby fights the Gotch lift! Ruby ROCKS Tay but Tay ROCKS Ruby! Tay says this is what Ruby wanted! She pushes Ruby’s face towards the tacks! Ruby is already bleeding but she pushes herself back up with a hand in the tacks! Ruby grabs a handful, to THROW AT TAY! Tay is momentarily blinded, and Ruby brings her around to RAM into a chair!
Ruby then brings Tay back around, hooks her up, DESTINATION UNKNOWN into the tacks!!! Cover, RUBY & WILLOW WIN!!!

Fans can’t believe how wild these two went! Now they all know what it is to live and die in LA! Ruby gives Tay a bloody kiss goodnight, and then finally fist-bumps Willow! Is this just the beginning of a beautiful and brutal friendship for Ruby & Willow?
My Thoughts:
This was a wild episode for Rampage, and a lot of this is an example of what Rampages should be like, in terms of moving stories along in meaningful ways. We did get a bit of an empty, “Wait and see what we do next” promo from Mogul Affiliates, but that might be because AEW doesn’t know what is next. First, it’d be giving the tattooed guy his AEW name. Second, why not move them up into Trios title contention? Swerve beat AR Fox, the Bucks are facing Top Flight next, Top Flight & Fox are a trio, so there’s some kinda math in there that says Mogul Affiliates should rank above Top Flight & Fox. Granted, Parker Boudreaux is still rough around the edges and as he has no name, tattooed man hasn’t done anything in AEW so they might need to get going on Elevation and Dark to get some wins.
Very good promo from Hobbs, and after seeing that great opener from Darby VS Juice, doesn’t it just make sense for Hobbs to go after Darby and the TNT title? While he mentioned a phoenix, Hobbs isn’t going after Rey Fenix, he could use that to mean Darby, who seems like he can’t die. Hobbs has been doing great stuff for a good stretch, he deserves to be the guy to dethrone Darby, likely at Revolution. He can rack up wins on Elevation and Dark, biding his time as the weeks go by, and then he steps up to Darby just in time to make that match official. As for Darby, great to hear that he and Sting are going to Japan for WK17 Yokohama, that’ll be a great match and moment as Keiji Mutoh, AKA The Great Muta, officially retires.
Obviously someone interrupts The Acclaimed getting their Walk of Fame stars since that was all kayfabe anyway. I just feel like the Gunns shouldn’t be the ones. It does bring things full circle from their previous feud in a way, and the only thing everyone loves more than The Acclaimed is laughing at the Ass Boys. With FTR taking a leave of absence to legitimately rest and regroup, this is kind of like getting the next chapter of the Gunns’ run without the build, hence why they will lose the tag title match. And good promo from Jade and Leila to talk smack on Velvet and make it pretty clear to me that Velvet will be Jade’s opponent for that 50th match.
We got great action and incredible storytelling in the Kings of the Black Throne tag match. Eddie and Ortiz were dysfunctional the whole time but in a way that worked, and the House of Black basically suckered them both into their ploy. Now the distrust will grow, and there’s a chance someone turns, but there could also be a heroic moment of Eddie and Ortiz overcoming the mind games and winning out in the end. We got a really good promo segment out of Paul Walter Hauser, Best Friends and Triple J. Kudos on PWH taking that guitar smash, he’s definitely a hardcore pro-wrestling fan if he’s willing to do that. And while we’re getting Cassidy VS Lethal for the All-Atlantic title, I would love if we got an 8 Man Tag so that we can get Sonjay, Satnam and Danhausen legitimately involved.
And I love that they didn’t worry about a main event promo, they just gave us the Street Fight. All of that was badass stuff from start to finish, but wow did Ruby get bloody. Great references, from the purple ‘n’ white camo Ruby & Willow had to shout out the Dudley Boyz to TayJay bringing back the barbed wire arm wrap. For a moment I thought TayJay would win, but that’s a great moment for Ruby and Willow to win and bond over this war. This has to be the blow-off, there’s nothing they can do to escalate from here. I’m just not sure what either team can do next when there are no AEW Women’s Tag Team Championships to fight for.

Marina keeps hold of the arm, breaks the grip, but Windsor hurries to stack again! TWO and Marina lets Windsor go. The two go to corners, but Marina runs up, only for Windsor to put Marina on the apron. Marina ROCKS Windsor, then catches her into a HANGING ARMBAR! The ref reprimands while the fans are torn, but Marina lets go at 4. Marina then trips Windsor, brings her outside, and scuffs her with a kick. Will Davis refill the family’s treasury with this gold? Or will Dynasty be all about that Tarzan Life?
The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see if Jack can stay golden!
The bell rings and the fans rally up for Jack. Davis and Jack tie up, and Davis THROWS Jack to a corner! The fans rally, Jack says okay, hold on, and he resets with Davis. Jack slips around, headlocks, but Davis powers up and out to then CLOBBER Jack! Jack flounders away and asks for another breather. The fans rally as Jack comes back, dodges Davis, and KICKS, KICKS, and CHOPS! Jack shoves, Davis shoves back, but Jack flips up and over Davis to then DROPKICK him out! The fans fire up as Jack aims, PLANCHAS, but Davis catches Jack! The fans fire up as Davis pops Jack up and brings him around the way, only for Jack to POST Davis first!
The fans fire up as Jack then uses the post to swing and DROPKICK Davis again! The fans cheer as Jack shoves Davis into the ring. Jack HOTSHOTS Davis, goes up top, but Davis snatches Jack for the ROCKET LAUNCHER! Jack tumbles away but Davis digs his forearms into Jack! Davis runs to SLIDING FOREARM! Jack sputters in the corner while Davis snarls. Davis drags Jack to center, kneeling cover, TWO! Cocky as it was, it almost kept Jack down. Davis kicks Jack around, scoops and SLAMS, then he SENTONS on top! Davis pushes Jack to a cover, TWO! Davis clamps onto Jack with a chinlock, and even digs his knee in.

Jack then goes up, up, and ARIHARA MOONSAULTS! Down goes Davis and the fans fire up with Jack! Jack high-fives some fans, drags Davis up and brings him around. Jack shoves Davis into the ring, the fans rally up, and Jack climbs again. But Davis grabs Jack again! Davis climbs up this time, but Jack SLAPS and CHOPS Davis! Then he CLAWS Davis’s eyes before he HEADBUTTS Davis down! Then Jack DIVING-

The fans are torn as Lena stops to tag in Megan. Megan stands Hyan up, RAMS into her again and again, then stops at 4. Megan CHOPS Hyan, tags Lena, and SPLASHES Hyan! Megan BUTTERFLY PLEXES Hyan, and Lena SLIDING LARIATS! Cover, TWO! Lena mocks Maya by holding Hyan’s hand out to her, then CLUBS her down! Lena whips Hyan to the corner, LARIATS, then ELBOWS! Tag to Megan and Lena runs side to side, BOOT! Megan adds a BOOT! Then a GERMAN SUPLEX! Hyan flounders but Megan covers, TWO! Megan drags Hyan over, puts her in the corner, and she fires clubbing shots from all sides!
The ref counts, Megan tags Lena, and Lena brings Hyan around. Hyan fires body shots, Lena CLUBS her, then Lena soaks up the heat. Lena whips Hyan, but Hyan BOOTS her! The fans fire up as Hyan and Lena stagger, but Megan tags in! Megan runs up on Hyan, but Hyan DUMPS Megan out! Hyan hurries for her corner, but Megan runs to BLAST Maya! The fans boo, but Megan whips Hyan back into the Divine corner. Megan CHOPS Hyan, runs up, but into a BOOT! Hyan ELBOWS Lena away, then she dodges Megan to POST her! Megan and Hyan are both down while the fans rally up! Megan and Hyan crawl, hot tags to Lena and Maya!
The fans fire up as Maya ducks under, UP KICKS, then SOBATS and BOOTS! Lena just scowls, but Maya ducks ‘n’ dodges to tilt-o-whirl RANA Lena to a corner! Maya UPPERCUTS, whips, but Lena reverses! Maya goes up, up, and MISSILE DROPKICKS! Maya handsprings up and the fans cheer her on! Maya runs in and BACK BODY BLOCKS! Megan runs up but is sent into Lena! Maya BACK BODY BLOCKS again, then tags Hyan! Hyan tunes up, roars and runs around the world for a KNEE! Maya goes up, BLOCKBUSTER LEG SWEEP COMBO! Cover, TWO! Lena survives but Hyan coordinates with Maya.
Hyan tags Maya, they get Lena up again, and Maya runs, only for Lena to ELBOW Hyan, BOOT Maya, and HOOK KICK Hyan! Tag to Megan and she brings Maya up. Maya JAWBREAKERS, then she and Hyan double whip! Megan reverses, kicks Maya, and fireman’s carries Hyan! Maya jumps on but Megan just adds her to it! FALL AWAY SLAM SAMOAN DROP COMBO! The fire up again, and Megan LEAPING LARIATS! Cover, TWO! Tag to Lena and Divine Dominion get Maya up. But Hyan with the save! Lena ROCKS Hyan, Megan TOSSES Hyan aside, then they get Maya again! DIVINE- DOUBLE DDT COUNTER!!
The fans fire up while all four women are down! Maya hurries to tag Hyan back in, and they run up on the champs to DOUBLE DROPKICK! The Divine Dominion tumble outside, and Maya holds the ropes open for Hyan! Hyan DIVES through the five hole to take out Divine Dominion! Then she sets them back up so Maya can ASAI MOONSAULT! Down they go again! The fans are thunderous while Hyan & Maya put Lena in. But Lena wrenches and BOOTS Hyan! Hyan ROCKS Lena! Then she counter punches again and again and again! Hyan CHOPS, runs, but into the BOOT! Lena reels Hyan into the fireman’s carry, but Hyan fights free!

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who wins the war as an army of one!
The bell rings and both men run up! HIDDEN BLADE!! The fans are thunderous as Ospreay stands there, seething with a sinister smile. Moxley is dazed, but Ospreay mockingly asks how much time do they have. He’s still got time, right? The fans sing for “OSPREAY~ OSPREAY OSPREAY OSPREAY~!” as he watches Moxley sit up slowly. HIDDEN BLADE AGAIN!! Moxley flops out of the ring but Ospreay hurries out after him. Ospreay stands Moxley up, ROCKS Moxley, then brings him around to put him on the apron. Ospreay grinds the neck before the DRAPING NECKBREAKER! Moxley writhes, blood in his mouth, while the fans cheer Ospreay.
Ospreay drags Moxley up, puts him in, and climbs up the corner. Moxley stands, into a BLINDSIDE FLYING FOREARM! The fans cheer again while Moxley flounders around. The fans boo but Moxley talks more trash. Moxley stalks Ospreay, drags him up, and short arm LARIATS! Moxley stands Ospreay up to LARIAT again, then checks his own neck. The fans fire up for Kyle, he tags Roddy, and they KICK and CHOP away on Finlay! Cassidy warns them, and they intercept Kidd & Connors with KICK and CHOP! Then Kyle ROCKS Finlay, tags Cassidy, and Roddy hits a BACKBREAKER on Finlay! Cassidy climbs up, but then climbs down, and winds up to ELBOW DROP! The fans cheer while Cassidy flexes. Cassidy DIVES onto Finlay, but Finlay catches him! And Connors dodges the wrecking ball dropkick! Finlay THROWS Cassidy into the barriers, Connors THROWS Roddy into railing! Finlay stomps Kyle to get him off of Gabe, then Finlay brings Kyle up. Connors aims from the apron, Finlay suplexes, FULL CLIP to the floor! The fans boo but The Dogs soak up the heat. The Dogs Too Sweet, then they stomp Kyle. Roddy fires off on Connors, fires off on Finlay, and Roddy whips Finlay into railing! Roddy checks Kyle, but Gabe BOOTS Roddy! Connors fires up, the fans boo, but Finlay drags Cassidy up. Finlay reels Cassidy in, suplexes, and BROKEN ARROW! Finlay flexes while fans boo, and Finlay clamps on with a chinlock. From there, his second reign has been much like the first, with shortcuts and underhanded tactics. He even went so far as to seal off Hangman Adam Page from this title forever! But now, the God of Professional Wrestling has his chance to set things right! Will The Devil pay for his sins? Or will Kenny Omega have to admit that Maxwell Jacob Friedman is better than him, and he knows it?

The fans taunt MJF with, “You Got Hair Plugs!” MJF tells the fans to shut up, then he and Kenny circle again. They tie up, Kenny rolls MJF up, TWO! MJF swings, misses, and Kenny Electric Chair Lifts!
MJF victory rolls through, TWO! MJF runs up, Kenny goes up and over, then he ducks ‘n’ dodges! Kenny goes up, steadies himself, and CROSSBODIES! MJF hurries to ropes, but he dodges Kenny! MJF has Kenny in place, but Kenny THROWS MJF away before the Heatseeker! Then Kenny aims, BANG, and- NO, MJF bails out before the V-Trigger! The fans boo, but MJF goes over the railing and walks it off. The fans boo, MJF tells them to shut up, then MJF takes his time going back to ringside. MJF says we’re on HIS time, then he steps into the ring. Kenny and MJF reset, and Kenny offers that handshake again.

MJF tumbles out, Kenny gets the Terminator Drums going, and he builds speed, but MJF just steps aside. MJF says he’s too smart for that, but then Kenny WERCKS MJF with a dropkick! And then PLANCHAS! Down goes MJF and the fans fire up! MJF scrambles away while Kenny high-fives fans. Kenny lines up a shot, runs in at MJF, but MJF drop toeholds Kenny onto a chair! MJF grins as he outsmarts Kenny on that one. MJF ROCKS Kenny, Kenny falls into the timekeeper’s area, and MJF soaks up the heat.

Kenny then takes the table, sets it up nearby, but the ref says win this in the ring! Kenny rolls into the ring, but then rolls out, refreshing the count. The fans cheer as Kenny brings the table around.

MJF stands first, he runs up, but Kenny dodges to POLISH HAMMER! POLISH HAMMER! The fans fire up again s Kenny spins, but MJF kicks low! MJF whips, but Kenny redirects and dropkicks legs out! Kenny keeps moving, KOTARO KRUSHER! MJF staggers around, Kenny fireman’s carries, and “YOU! CAN’T! ESCAPE!” ROLLING SENTON, then Kenny goes up, up, and MOONSAULTS! Cover, TWO! MJF bails out but Kenny smiles. The Terminator Drums start again, the fans join in, and Kenny builds speed! Kenny FLIES and down goes MJF at the ramp! The fans fire up again as Kenny stands tall!
Kenny drags MJF up, brings him around, and puts him in the ring. MJF crawls but Kenny slides in. Kenny Electric Chair Lifts, but MJF CLAWS Kenny’s eyes! MJF makes it to the corner, he aims, and PANAMA- NO, Kenny ducks, then he trips MJF up to CATAPULT him into the corner! MJF lands safe?! But then Kenny CLUBS MJF on the back! Kenny Electric Chair Lifts, then climbs up the corner! Kenny reaches up, but MJF slips free! MJF CLAWS Kenny’s back, then BITES him on the forehead! The ref reprimands, MJF stops at 4, and MJF puts Kenny up top. MJF climbs up after Kenny now, and he drags Kenny up onto his shoulder.
The fans rally for Kenny but MJF has him in place, Kenny clicks his heels to fight free of the gut wrench! Kenny slips down, CLUBS MJF, then ROCKS him! MJF wobbles up top, Kenny SMACKS him off buckles, and climbs up again! The fans actually duel now as Kenny SUPER SUSNET FLIP, but MJF lands out?!? MJF SUPERKICKS, runs, but Kenny dodges! SNAP DRAGON! MJF dodges, GERMAN SUPLEX, but Kenny lands out! BOOT and POISON-RANA! MJF flops to the ropes but Kenny reels him in! Electric Chair, but MJF POISON-RANAS!! MJF goes up the corner, and LONG ISLAND SUNRISE!! But Kenny is up to V-TRIGGER!! Cover, TWO!!
The fans are stunned as MJF survives! “This is Awesome!” as Kenny and MJF stir. MJF rolls away from Kenny, but Kenny drags himself up with the ropes. Kenny runs up, but MJF puts him through ropes! MJF KNEES Kenny, then reels him in! HEATSEEK- NO, Kenny shoves free! But MJF slingshots Kenny for the CUTTER! Cover, TWO!! Kenny barely survives that and both men are down again. The fans rally as Kenny stirs, but MJF stands first. MJF fireman’s carries Kenny, and he says, “YOU! CAN’T! ESCAPE!” ROLLING SENTON, then the MOONSAULT but Kenny dodges! Kenny kicks low, lifts MJF, POWERBOMB! Kenny flips MJF over, V-TRIGGER! Cover, TWO!
MJF survives but Kenny nods. Kenny looms over MJF, the fans rally, and Kenny drags MJF around. Kenny fireman’s carries again, “YOU! CAN’T! ESCAPE!” ROLLING SENTON and then the MOONSAULT but onto knees! MJF runs, but Kenny jumps up to RANA again! MJF tumbles back out, the fans rally with the Terminator Drums, but Kenny takes a bit longer to get set up. Kenny builds speed to the corner, this is for Kota Ibushi! GOLDEN TRIANGLE MOONSAULT! Down goes MJF and the fans fire up! Kenny takes a moment to catch his breath while the fans cheer “A E DUB! A E DUB!” Kenny walks off the pain and he brings MJF up.
Kenny puts MJF in the ring, takes aim, and the fans fire up again! BANG and Kenny runs, but MJF kitchen sink KNEES first! MJF has a sinister grin as his target is clear. MJF whips, and he kitchen sink KNEES again! The fans boo but MJF just puts up the devil horns. MJF says Kenny didn’t want sympathy, right? Does his stomach hurt? MJF fires BODY BLOW after BODY BLOW, then tells the fans to shut up! MJF whips but Kenny turns knee into roll-up, TWO!! Kenny dodges, MJF dodges, DOUBLE CROSSBODIES collide! The fans fire up while both men are down! The fans have their own standing count, but both MJF and Kenny stand.
MJF storms up but Kenny bumps him off buckles again and again and again! The fans cheer as Kenny goes to TEN! Kenny then stands MJF up to ROCK him with haymaker after haymaker! The ref reprimands but Kenny climbs up the corner. Kenny rains down fists from all side, and he gets to TEN very quickly! Then Kenny brings MJF in, lifts him up, and BUCKLE BOMBS him! MJF flops down into the drop zone, and Kenny climbs up the corner. The stomach slows him down, but Kenny is up top to BLINDSIDE MISSILE DROPKICK! Kenny crawls to the cover, TWO! MJF stays in this but Kenny throws down a punch!
The fans fire up as Kenny goes to the corner, and Kenny climbs up again. Kenny aims, but MJF manages to rise up. MJF BODY BLOWS Kenny right down! MJF then hops back up, and he brings Kenny back onto his shoulder! MJF tried for this earlier, and now he has Kenny in place, but Kenny again fights free! Kenny staggers to his feet, but MJF BOOTS him away! MJF aims again, LONG ISLAND- V-TRIGGER! MJF leans on the corner while the fans fire up! Kenny Electric Chair Lifts, and he goes up the corner with MJF! MJF almost falls forward off the corner, but Kenny holds onto him! MJF freaks out as Kenny tucks, SUPER ONE WINGED ANGEL!!!
The fans go nuts but Kenny can’t cover! Kenny has to crawl, the pain in his stomach and legs holding him back! Kenny finally reaches out but MJF rolls away! The fans boo as MJF saves himself by the slimmest of margins! Kenny is frustrated, but he goes out after MJF. Kenny drags MJF up, the fans want him to use that table from earlier, but Kenny puts MJF in the ring. Kenny drags MJF up, but MJF KNEES low! MJF brings Kenny around, dragon sleepers, and calls his shot! But Kenny slips out of the Cross Rhodes to WHEEL KICK! MJF ends up in a corner, Kenny runs in, BLINDSIDE V-TRIGGER! Then a SNAP DRAGON!
MJF sits up, into another V-TRIGGER!! Cover, TWO!! MJF survives but the fans rally harder for Kenny. Kenny drags MJF up, tries the Electric Chair again, but the stomach and legs won’t let him lift! Kenny slaps his abs into working, and he brings MJF up. Kenny Electric Chair Lifts, but MJF flails! MJF fights the tuck, gets the dragon sleeper, CROSS RHODES!! And then the tuck for a PACKAGE PILEDRIVER!! Cover, TWO?!? Kenny survives and MJF is beside himself, but the fans are thunderous! MJF and Kenny slowly stir, and the fans hope these two “Fight Forever!” But this has to end somehow, and MJF goes to Kenny to SLAP him!
The fans boo but MJF eggs Kenny on. MJF slaps Kenny around, scuffs him, then scuffs him again. MJF slaps Kenny around, CLUBS away on him, then throws haymakers! The fans boo, but MJF has Kenny on the ropes quite literally as he BODY BLOWS! MJF scuffs and slaps Kenny again, CHOPS him on the back, but Kenny gets in MJF’s face! MJF ROCKS Kenny, SPITS on him, but Kenny grins. MJF eggs Kenny on, the fans are thunderous, and Kenny says STOP! He fires off a series of fast hands! The fans fire up as Kenny ROCKS, BOOTS, KICKS, and repeat! Kenny KICKS MJF right in the face! Kenny is unleashing that same scary mode Ibushi has!
Kenny tells MJF guess what. Kenny SPINS in MJF’s face, then BUZZSAWS him! Then BANG, V-TRIGGER!! The fans want that “One More Time!” but Kenny stands MJF up to ROCK him with that straight right! The fans cheer as MJF is back on the ropes, and Kenny reloads to V-TRIGGER!! Kenny then hauls MJF up in the Electric Chair, for a ONE WINGED- NO, MJF slips free, shoves Kenny, and uses the ref as a shield for the V-TRIGGER!! Down goes Bryce and the fans go nuts! Kenny checks on Bryce, he is out cold! MJF LOW BLOWS Kenny!! MJF crawls to Bryce, makes sure he is out, and then he goes looking in the pockets!
MJF brings out the Dynamite Diamond Ring! The fans boo as MJF goes back to Ol’ Reliable! But Kenny dodges, and V-TRIGGERS! Kenny lifts MJF, ONE WINGED ANGEL!!! Cover, but the ref is out!! Kenny would’ve won three times over! Wait, Paul Turner is here! Cover, TWO!!! MJF survives what was actually 15 counts, but nothing can be done about that now! Kenny is furious but MJF goes to the apron. The fans cheer for the table, and Kenny says why not. Kenny goes to the apron, then he lifts MJF! But the gut bothers him again! Kenny fires back up, but MJF DIAMOND RING BODY BLOWS!! The ref missed it, checking on Bryce!
MJF gut wrenches Kenny to TOMBSTONE through the table!!! MJF drags Kenny from the wreckage while the fans go nuts, and he has Kenny in the ropes! HEATSEEKER!!! Cover, MJF WINS!!!
Winner: MJF, by pinfall (still AEW World Champion)
Whether you agree with the talk of Devil and God of AEW, it is very clear that MJF is a sinner for all the crimes he committed just to hold onto his gold! Will Kenny Omega ever have this world title again? As for MJF, he sits upon his throne, adorned with his twisted crown and “Triple B.” But will we see Darby Allin become a demon slayer when he challenges MJF in Seattle?
My Thoughts:
Another awesome PPV for AEW, though full to the brim as always. I wonder if AEW needs to let pressure off and not always have every single title defended at a PPV. Anyway, great Zero Hour stuff, and I certainly didn’t think they’d bring Kamille back quite like this, but going after Willow and the TBS title is great stuff for Kamille. They’ll have a great match, but something about this makes me think Kamille almost has to win or what was the point? Great match for Windsor VS Marina and a great win for Windsor. Perry VS Davis was very good, and rather outta nowhere, a bit to my point of AEW insisting every title be defended. Maya & Hyan VS Divine Dominion was really good, too, but of course status quo is kept on Zero Hour.
Awesome tag match from Okada & Konosuke VS Bucks, but of course the team of Okada & Konosuke fell apart. This builds towards not just Okada VS Konosuke but it could also build the Don Callis Family Civil War with the family split down the middle. I’m thinking Andrade could join Team Konosuke as Faces after his epic with Darby. Darby was of course winning this, given MJF was winning the main event. Andrade showing respect to Darby will not make Callis happy, but Andrade was already upset about the MJF business so it’d make sense. But I’m already worried it’s not gonna go Darby’s way if they’re doing it in the Seattle area and not on PPV…
Very good match from Jericho VS Ricochet, but Ricochet winning was quite the surprise. Though, if this ends up just like all other Jericho feuds, won’t he come back for more, drag this out, and then we get another match where Ricochet still wins? FTR VS Cope & Christian was great, and while FTR winning out wasn’t really surprising, FTR winning so suddenly kinda was. The Bucks winning their match, are we getting FTR VS Bucks again at Double or Nothing? Or are we getting the Triple Threat they kinda teased after Revolution? A Triple Threat would definitely be a way to protect FTR and C&C while Bucks get their historic fourth reign.
The Casino Gauntlet was once again awesome and unpredictable, and what an awesome win for Kevin Knight. Though, with it being at Bailey’s expense since he was in that Dragontamer, will that compel JetSpeed feuding on the way to Double or Nothing? At the very least, Ciampa going after Knight will give us an awesome match. Thekla VS Jamie was really good, but another sneaky win for Thekla might prolong this story to Double or Nothing. Windsor getting past Marina, I wonder if Windsor gets her shot at Thekla while Jamie watches her back.
Moxley VS Ospreay was awesome, but the go-home math definitely indicated Moxley was winning this. Ospreay hitting the Hidden Blades to start but he didn’t bother covering, that was their way of showing us Ospreay wasn’t winning. Ospreay was too focused on hurting Moxley, not winning a title, but I’m sure this story will continue. Conglomeration VS Dogs was really good, but it seems Gabe’s arm got legit hurt. Hopefully he’s alright, because this not only screws with AEW plans but with NJPW plans. But at the same time, I sensed The Dogs being transitional champions to The Conglomeration now that Kyle O’Reilly is back, great stuff for them.
And of course, go-home math came through on MJF VS Kenny. Kenny stood tall but he chose to NOT keep the Dynamite Diamond Ring for his own, that stupid thing came through for MJF again, and MJF retains. An awesome match all the same, and MJF just keeps building the heat, but again, hard to say if Darby actually wins out on Wednesday.

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see who really runs this!
The trios sort out and Mistico starts against Finlay. The fans rally as they circle, but then Gabe CLOBBERS Mistico and Connors YANKS Bailey down! Finlay BLASTS Knight down, then he TOSSES Mistico! The Dogs soak up the heat before they keep on beating up the champs! Bailey is sent into railing, Finlay CLUBS Knight, and Connors CLAWS at Mistico’s mask! Finlay CLAWS bailey’s face, Gabe stomps Bailey, then Gabe puts Bailey in the ring. Gabe mocks Bailey with a crane stance before he CHOPS! Gabe whips, Bailey handsprings, then Bailey ducks ‘n’ dodges to RANA! The fans fire up as Bailey then DROPKICKS Gabe out!
Bailey aims but Connors CLOBBERS him first! Knight FLYING ARM-DRAGS Connors, then bypasses him. Connors counters the hip toss, only for Knight to counter with an arm-drag! Bailey CHOPS Gabe, Mistico ROCKS Finlay, and Knight CHOPS Connors! Mistico KICKS Finlay, Knight ROCKS Connors, and Mistico SMACKS Finlay off the desk! Bailey sends Gabe into more railing! Bailey high-fives fans while Knight stomps Connors. Mistico BOOTS Finlay down, Knight high-fives fans, and Mistico CLAWS Finlay’s face in return! Mistico KICKS Finlay in the back! Connors drags Knight up, SMACKS him, then stalks him to the corner. Tag to Finlay and he stomps Knight. Finlay stomps a mudhole in, argues with the ref, and Gabe gets a cheap shot in! Connors CHOKES Knight! The Dogs soak up the heat before Finlay steps on Knight’s neck! The ref counts, Finlay steps off and tags Gabe. Gabe stalks Knight, Knight fires body shots, but Gabe stops Knight from reaching his corner! Gabe RAMS Knight into the corner, SMACKS him down, then talks trash on the fans. Gabe SPITS at Knight, then taunts Bailey and Mistico. Connors CHOKES Knight behind the ref’s back, then Finlay snap suplexes! Cover, TWO!
Finlay keeps Knight down with an armlock, and he bends Knight’s fingers before he JAMS them into the mat! Knight clutches that hand, but Finlay BOOTS him down! Finlay then drags Knight to center for a neck wrench. Collision returns to single picture as Knight endures the chinlock. Finlay leans on the hold but Knight fights up. Mistico keeps moving, he ducks ‘n’ dodges to RANA! Gabe & Connors run in, Mistico dodges them both, and he uses Connors to get up! RANA on Gabe! CHOP on Connors! Gabe stomps Mistico, hauls him up, PILEDRIVER! The Dogs regroup, Finlay tags Gabe. The Mad Man brings Knight up, around, but Knight fights the lift! Knight RAMS Gabe into the corner! But there just might be a third.” Orange Cassidy finishes a phone call and says yeah, there might. Okay, then what’d he say? Oh, Cassidy forgot to ask. He can just call back. Roddy says do it now! Cassidy redials and Roddy says they’ll see The Dogs on Sunday! See you there! The Dogs don’t sweat it, but who will be the third man, brother?

The United Empire regrouped backstage, victorious from the Chaos in Canada, but Will Ospreay says, “Lemme get this straight, Jon Boy. Last week, you said there was six of you and only one of me. That’s funny, because I got a lot of friends over in Japan. Not even friends, brothers, guys that looked after my back since day one. Francesco Akira, one of the greatest Junior Heavyweight Tag wrestlers of all time. Henare, one of the toughest mother effers I’ve ever met in my entire life. This guy knocked out Gabe Kidd with one hand, bang, across his head, and a gash in his head that was about four centimeters.
“And this is my little brother, Callum Newman. You may recognize that (title on his shoulder). He is the youngest-ever IWGP Heavyweight Champion. Together, we’re the United Empire.” Callum says after Ryogoku, after winning the most prestigious title in all of pro-wrestling, Big Brother Billy took ’em all out to the bar, said he had a problem at work. Well, there’s one thing about the Empire: The ARE united. They’ve had their differences, they’ve had things going on, but it doesn’t matter where or when, The Empire stands together. They are a brotherhood! Damn right. And Jon, Sunday, Ospreay gets you all to himself.
No Death Riders, no United Empire, just them and the Continental Championship. And Moxley said he wont’ stand in the way of action and consequences. Good. Neither will Ospreay. The Aerial Assassin’s edge is sharpened, but will he be able to cut down The Maniac?

Both former AEW Women’s World Champions have been dealing with some frustrations over not winning titles. But these two go away back to the early days of AEW, so surely they can make a formidable tag team. Will this be the beginning of the Galaxy’s Greatest Duo? Or are they resting on their laurels even now?
The teams sort out and Shida starts against Ava. The fans cheer Ava on as a local favorite, but Shida fires off forearms! Shida ROCKS Ava and puts her in the corner. Alex tells Marina that while she serves as Moxley’s little lap dog, she’ll send a message to Moxley: “Jon, Will is gonna cut the head off the snake, but first, I’m gonna chop off the ass! But don’t worry when Will breaks your neck, because I promise I will put Marina right next to you.”
Jamie tells Thekla that she must admit, Thekla’s doing pretty well for herself. Jamie honestly didn’t think Thekla would get this far! The last time they stood across the ring from each other, Jamie didn’t see some Toxic Spider or even some crazy girl, she saw a tosser who was too afraid to get hit! Lexy asks what that is, and Mina grabs a couple of glasses, but Harley says just hand her the bottle. Bottoms up, tops down.

On Wednesday, the deal was struck that if The Rainmaker & Alpha work together at Dynasty against The Young Bucks, Double or Nothing would see Rainmaker VS Alpha for this title. But does that mean Okada is already overlooking the third Rascal? Or will Okada use Myron to send a message to everyone, including Takeshita?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who lights it up!
Callis joins commentary and says that this match is just to tie up loose ends, and that “this green headed little punk is gonna get his ass handed to him by the great Rainmaker, Okada.” The bell rings and the fans rally for Okada as he circles with Reed. They tie up, are in a deadlock, but Okada’s height gives him the leverage. They go to the ropes, Okada lets off slowly, but then he ROCKS Reed with forearms! Okada CLUBS Reed to a corner, stomps away on him, then stops as the ref counts. Okada runs corner to corner, but Reed dodges to counter punch! And counter punch! Okada THROWS Reed to the corner, then stomps away!
Okada CLUBS Reed, then runs the ropes to LARIAT Reed up and out! Reed lands safe on the apron, though, and he dodges Okada to GUILLOTINE LEG DROP! Reed goes up, up, but Okada avoids the leap! Okada grins as he trolls the fans, and he drags Reed up. Okada ELBOWS Reed in the corner, and Collision goes to break.
Collision returns as Okada eggs Reed on, daring him to take a shot. Reed fires a forearm, but then Okada kicks low and DDTS hard! Cocky cover, ONE! Reed is tougher than that but Okada drags him up for a scoop. Okada SLAMS Reed, goes to the corner, and he climbs up top. Standard formula says MACHO ELBOW, but onto knees! Reed gets Okada in the ghost pin, TWO! Okada kicks low, then suplexes, but into STUN-DOG MILLIONAIRE! The fans rally up while both men are down! Reed and Okada rise, Reed CLOBBERS Okada again and again! Reed whips, Okada reverses, then Okada ducks the boot!
Okada blocks the superkick, avoids the sweep, but Reed avoids the boot! Reed goes Matrix to avoid the lariat, and he PELES! Okada staggers away and the fans fire up! Reed runs corner to corner, but he blocks boots first! Reed puts Okada in the ropes, ENZIGIRIS, then goes out to slingshot and GUILLOTINE LEG DROP! Cover, TWO! Okada survives but Reed is not dismayed. Callis tells Okada to execute Reed in Japanese, but Reed FLIES! Down goes Okada and the fans fire up with Reed! The fans rally as Okada brings Reed back up. Okada scoops and SLAMS Reed, and he tries the standard formula again. Okada aims for the MACHO ELBOW! Direct hit this time, and then Okada winds up the Rainmaker MIDDLE FINGER! Okada brings Reed up, around, but Reed fires elbows! Reed runs, but into the DROPKICK! Okada drags Reed up, gut wrenches, but Reed fights free! Reed fireman’s carries to swing Okada onto the ropes for the DRAPING FLATLINER! The fans fire up again as Reed builds speed, and he FLING CUTTERS to the floor!! The fans go nuts for that wild risk Reed just took, but Reed gets Okada back in the ring.

Willow Nightingale returned backstage, victorious as AEW TBS Champion, and she says, “Oh my gawd! Okay, Queen Aminata, tonight, Dynamite, she brought it! On Collision this past week, Shida, she brought it! These girls are coming back, they’re making me work, but it’s all good, because I am still the Face of TBS! Your TBS Champion, Willow Nightingale! And I’m excited, I’m happy, arms wide open, welcoming these girls back. Tony Schiavone was out there calling me the Comeback Killer.
“So if you’re home right now, if you’re recovering from an injury, if you’re needing to rediscover yourself a little bit, take some time away… I’m here waiting. TBS Championship will on be the line, anywhere, any place. Come and try and take it.” The Babe with the Power also has the confidence, but will this unique open challenge come back to bite her?
Divine Dominion speaks.
Lena Kross says, “Holding these titles means we are the best. That we set the standard for the Women’s Tag Team Division. And somehow, Hyan & Maya have caught our attention as they desperately try to rise from the bottom. Admirable. But what makes you think you belong in the same realm as us?” Megan Bayne says, “Now, now. We are gracious champions. So here’s your gift. This Sunday, Dynasty: Zero Hour, we grant you the opportunity to step into our domain, and fight not just for the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championships, but for your honor. But understand this: You are beneath us. So now the only question is, can you survive long enough to keep us entertained?”

Thekla & Marina Shafir VS The Brawling Birds!
The Toxic Spider and The Problem each have their battles with Jamie Hayter & Alex Windsor at Dynasty, and we all know no one out of these four gives any F’s about how hard they have to fight to win. Will the AEW Women’s World Champion and the Death Riders’ femme fatale have all the momentum on their side? Or will this truly be an example of two birds, one stone?
The teams sort out, but then Thekla & Marina just attack The Birds! The ref reprimands but the fans cheer as they are indeed brawling! Jamie CLUBS away on Thekla, Windsor and Marina scrap, but then Thekla & Marina kick low. They TOSS The Birds out, then storm out after them. Thekla CLUBS Jamie, Marina sends Windsor into barriers, and then Marina CHOPS! Thekla SMACKS Jamie off the apron, Marina SAYANAGIS Windsor, but then Jamie THROWS Thekla into the railing! This isn’t even a match yet because there was no bell! Marina whips Windsor hard into railing, but then Jamie storms over!
Jamie CLUBS Marina, stomps her into the corner, and now Windsor brawls with Thekla! Windsor RAMS Thekla, BOOTS Marina, but Thekla KICKS Jamie! Marina KNEES Windsor, Thekla sends Jamie into railing, and Thekla soaks up the cheers and jeers. Thekla says the barrier is sturdy, and Marina tells the ref to take it easy. Thekla CHOKES Jamie with the padding, and Marina full nelsons Windsor to make her watch. Thekla SMACKS Jamie off the desk! Thekla asks commentary how they’re doing tonight, and she pretends to tap a wristwatch, saying it is only a matter of time. Marina CLUBS Windsor, then UPPERCUTS her down!
The ref is getting fed up with this, but Marina finally goes to the ring. But Windsor reels her back out for a WHEELBARROW SLAM off the apron! Jamie suplexes Thekla hard on the floor! Windsor puts Marina in, the bell finally rings, and this is finally on record! Jamie sends Thekla into railing, then hurries back to her corner. Windsor HAMMERs away on Marina, CHOPS her, then Jamie joins in with CHOPS! The fans cheer as The Birds CHOP, CHOP, and then they DOUBLE DOUBLE CHOP Thekla! Marina storms up to DOUBLE CHOP the Birds! Then she KICKS Jamie down, BOOTS Windsor aside, and bumps Jamie off buckles.
Thekla BOOTS Windsor, Marina THROWS Jamie, and Marina waistlocks Windsor for a GERMAN SUPLEX! The fans rally while Marina sucker punches Jamie, and Collision goes picture in picture.
Marina stalks Windsor, KICKS her around, taunts her, then kicks her again. Marina drags Windsor up, whips her to the corner, then fires body shots. Tag to Thekla and she CLAWS Windsor’s face! The ref counts, Thekla stops, but then Thekla drags Windsor up. Windsor fires body shots, ROCKS Thekla, then brings her around. Thekla fires body shots, brings Windsor around again, and cravats for a snapmare. Thekla CLUBS Windsor, covers, TWO! Windsor toughs it out but Thekla drags her up. Windsor fires body shots but Thekla CLUBS her back down! Thekla drags Windsor up, bumps her off buckles, then tags Marina.
Marina BLASTS Jamie off the apron, then brings Windsor up for a SAYANAGI! Cover, TWO! Another cover, TWO! A third cover, TWO! Marina holds Windsor down while Thekla sneaks around the outside and YANKS Jamie down! Marina anchors Windsor’s legs but Windsor kicks at her. Marina cartwheels around to then BOOT Windsor! Marina kneels on Windsor for a cocky cover, TWO! Marina KICKS Windsor int he back, watches her writhe, then brings her up. Marina whips and KICKS Windsor down! Collision returns to single picture while Marina soaks up the heat. Marina stands Windsor up, whips again, but Windsor grabs the ropes!
Marina KICKS Windsor again, then winds up, only for Windsor to dodge! Marina gets stuck in the ropes and Windsor KICKS Marina’s legs! Windsor turns Marina around to CHPO, CHOP, and CHOP! Windsor runs but Thekla kicks low! Thekla whips, Windsor dodges, and Windsor SHOTGUNS Marina! Windsor then bobs ‘n’ weaves with Thekla to ROCK her! And then DRAPING DDT on Marina! The fans fire up as Windsor crawls, hot tag to Hayter! Jamie BLASTS Thekla, then she GERMAN SUPLEXES Marina! And GERMAN SUPLEX! And a third GERMAN SUPLEX! The fans fire up as Jamie CLUBS away on Marina!
Jamie runs but Marina dodges the boot! Marina shoves Jamie to the corner, then runs up, but into an ELBOW! Jamie BOOTS Marina, goes up, and MISSILE DROPKICKS! Jamie just manages to hit Marina, and she pushes Marina around, only for Marina to counter with a GUILLOTINE FACELOCK! But Jamie pushes back to a cover, TWO!! Marina lets Jamie go in time, and BOOTS her right down! Tag to Thekla and Thekla storms up on Jamie. Thekla mocks Jamie as she scuffs her, then BOOTS her down! Jamie swings, Thekla dodges, and Thekla tilt-o-whirls to the IRON OCTOPUS! Jamie endures, fights around, but Marina brings them back!
The ref has to keep Windsor from storming in, but that means Thekla and Marina get away with this! The ref finally sees, Marina lets go, but she also intercepts Windsor! Standing toehold, but then Windsor BOOTS Marina into Thekla! Jamie hits a BACKBREAKER on Thekla! Marina gets around Jamie to GERMAN SUPLEX! Windsor LARIATS Marina! Thekla SPIDER SPEARS Windsor! Then Thekla dodges Jamie to ROCK her! Jamie HEADBUTTS Thekla! All four women are down and the fans are thunderous! Thekla crawls, calls to Marina, but Jamie does the same with Windsor. Hot tags to Marina and Windsor!
Windsor runs up, Marina dodges and fires off forearms! Marina tells Windsor to do better before she ROCKS her! Windsor ROCKS Marina and tells her to bring it! The CHOPS start flying and the fans fire up! Windsor fires forearms now, then runs, but into a mule kick! And front kick! Windsor rebounds to DECK Marina! Tag to Jamie, and Windsor lifts Marina! Jamie runs, but Thekla trips her! Thekla drags Jamie out while Marina BELL CLAPS Windsor! MOTHER’S MILK!! Jamie DECKS Thekla, storms back in, and Windsor stomps a foot! HEADBUTT from Windsor to Marina, and then TWO BIRDS ONE STONE!! Cover, Birds win!!
Winners: The Brawling Birds, by pinfall
It wasn’t easy, but The Birds managed to solve The Problem! Wait, is Marina smiling? Is she just that excited to have another fight like this with Iron Will Windsor? Will Jamie make sure Thekla gets a real taste of Hayterade? Or will Thekla make sure AEW stays toxic?
My Thoughts:
A great go-home episode of Collision, and of course they had three different post-Dynamite promo segments to add some final touches on things. Good promos from United Empire and Death Riders, and Garcia having to have the last word makes me wonder. Will Garcia try and help Moxley despite Continental Rules? Will Garcia cost Moxley the title because of that? They have yet to even tease such a thing in the history of this title and the Continental Rules, this could be the time to do it. But at the same time, Moxley VS Ospreay having a real finish, even a 20 minute time limit finish, would be more favorable for the fans.
A title change here tonight is really surprising. At the same time, Mistico was a TRIPLE champion between AEW and CMLL, so something had to give. But The Dogs turning right around to face Cassidy, Roddy, and I can only assume a returning Kyle O’Reilly, are The Dogs going to be transitional champions to The Conglomeration? That’d be pretty wild, but would also compel a renewed rivalry between Dogs and Conglomeration going towards Double or Nothing and beyond. For that matter, maybe Hurt Syndicate finding a new member is something they build towards DON, as they simply did a squash match win to get them going again.
Kris & Shida of course won their match, but this seems to be a vehicle for a feud, or at least Shida’s Heel turn. Mina and Harley had a very fun promo, especially with Harley chugging that drink. I don’t know if Mina & Harley become a duo, or they get in on the story with Kris and Shida to build up the midcard, but Mina and Harley both know how to be hilarious so this will be a lot of fun. Good promos from Maya & Hyan as well as Divine Dominion, but clearly Maya & Hyan are being fed to Megan & Lena to build their reign. Though, it is wild to think Maya & Hyan are getting this moment at all from the great work they’re doing in ROH.
Rush VS Bowens was great stuff, especially for Bowens bringing out his aggression, but Rush winning out was a given. I really do mean it when I say Ciampa and Rush could just be the TNT Championship match on its own, but the Casino Gauntlet will be a lot of fun, as it always is. Not sure what’s going on with “Bowens wants to be in The Opps” since we haven’t seen Hook in a minute. And that Acclaimed reunion slow burn went ice cold, not sure why TK didn’t/hasn’t see the road ahead for it. He could even be using The Opps as part of it, where Caster is also trying to prove he has ruthless aggression. But just as they’d been teasing before, Caster and Bowens would see they’re better together, no one else needed, and boom, Acclaimed is back!
The Bucks VS Clon y Hechi was a great match, perhaps better than it needed to be, but that’s also par for the course with AEW. Okada VS Reed was also great, but sadly a forgone conclusion when they gave us that deal within The Don Callis Family. Bucks have momentum, Okada has momentum, Konosuke has momentum, the tag match could go either way, but all with the purpose of building Okada VS Takeshita. And great main event tag from Brawling Birds VS Thekla & Windsor. Marina taking the loss protects Thekla, but I feel she’ll find a way to retain against Jamie. Marina VS Windsor can go either way, since it’s non-title and is kinda more about the larger Death Riders story.
