However, they could grab up some golden tickets for the United Empire with a win over two-thirds of the AEW World Trios Champions! Will Aussie Open prove why they’re the future of tag team wrestling? Or will the Bucks Superkick them all the way back to NJPW?

The teams sort out and Davis starts against Matt Jackson. Fans rally up as the two circle. Matt and Davis approach but then Fletcher attacks from behind! Fletcher slingshots Nick in for Davis to UPPERCUT! Fans boo but Aussie Open double whip Matt, DOUBLE ELBOW him down, PENALTY KICK and SENTON! Fans boo as Davis cocky covers, TWO! Davis bumps Matt off buckles, tags Fletcher, and Fletcher throws body shots. Callis is on commentary saying you can’t get in the heads of The Elite, but Fletcher CHOPS Matt! Davis whips Fletcher but Matt BOOTS him! Matt BOOTS Davis, too, but swings into a back suplex!

Matt lands out of it, but Fletcher back suplexes! Matt lands out again, tag to Nick! Nick goes up, DOUBLE CROSSBODY! Fans fire up as Nick knuckle locks and CHOPS Fletcher, to “LUCHA LIBRE~” and throw both Davis 7 Fletcher! Matt gets in, they DOUBLE DROPKICK Aussie Open! Fans fire up as the Bucks stand tall and Aussie Open bails out. The ring count climbs, Aussie Open gets back in the ring and Fletcher tags Davis. Davis and Nick circle, approach, and Nick dodges to headlock. Davis powers out, Matt tags in, Nick slides and the Bucks double kick. They double whip but Davis cartwheels!

Davis scoop SLAMS Matt, scoop SLAMS Nick! But then he DOUBLE SCOOP SLAMS the Bucks! Fans fire up with that show of strength! Davis drags Matt to a cover, TWO! Fans rally up, Davis stands Matt up to scoop again. But Matt slips off, SUPERKICKS, then tags Nick! Alley-oop MISSILE DROPKICK! Fletcher tags in but he runs into a GUTBUSTER, then NECKBREAKER BACKBREAKER! Davis returns but the Bucks clothesline him back out! Fans fire up again as the Bucks are still in control. DOUBLE PLANCHAS turn into SPINEBUSTER SANDWICH! And DOUBLE APRON BACK SUPLEXES!

Fans are torn but Aussie Open pick up the Bucks again! They run around the way, Omega has to get out of the way, SPINEBUSTER SANDWICH again! Fans fire up and Omega protests but Fletcher taunts him. Fletcher says “SUCK IT!” and Rampage goes picture in picture.

Fletcher & Davis get Nick, to whip him into barriers! Nick flounders, Fletcher soaks up the heat, and Davis CHOPS Matt! Davis taunts Omega, Fletcher ROCKS Nick! Nick gets into the ring, Davis POSTS Matt, and Fletcher returns to the corner. Davis tags Fletcher in, they bring Nick up, suplex and hand-off! Fletcher holds Nick up longer and fans fire up for the SLAM! Cover, TWO! Nick gets to a corner but he’s far from Matt. Fletcher whips Nick corner to corner hard and Rampage returns to single picture as Nick hits the mat. Fans rally, Fletcher tags Davis and Aussie Open drags Nick up. Fletcher sets Nick up for Davis to CHOP!

Nick sputters and staggers while fans “WOO~!” Davis stalks Nick to the corner, stands him up again, and hushes the crowd. Davis CHOPS and Nick falls right over! Davis tags Fletcher while Matt coaches Nick. Aussie Open brings Nick up, Fletcher goes up the corner, but Nick shoves Davis at him! He and Matt hit the BULLDOG DROPKICK COMBO! Davis is back but the Bucks BLAST him!

Nick runs in at Fletcher but is put on the apron! ENZIGURI CLOTHESLINE COMBO! And then Matt has Fletcher draped in the ropes! Nick goes up, SWANTON BOMB! Cover, Davis breaks it!! The Bucks can’t believe it, but then Davis throws Matt out. Davis whips Nick corner to corner, Nick goes up and out to PENALTY KICK Fletcher! Nick shoulders into Davis, slingshot FACEBUSTER! Cartwheel MOONSAULT, but Fletcher dodges! Kick and BRAINBUSTER to the floor! Callis is worried but Matt WRECKS Fletcher with a dropkick! Matt skins the cat, but into a LARIAT from Davis! Davis goes side to side, SLIDING FOREARM! Aussie Open fires up, fans are torn, but Davis scoops Nick. SWINGING CRUCIFIX BOMB!! Cover, TWO!! Nick survives and fans are thunderous again! Omega coaches Nick but Davis drags Nick up. Tag to Fletcher, Davis fireman’s carries, POP-UP ROUNDHOUSE! Then the scoop and Fletcher is up top, LAWN DART CUTTER FROM NICK!! Matt runs in, but into a LARIAT! Davis stands Matt up, fireman’s carries, POP-UP- NO! Matt blocks the kick, and sends it into Davis! Tag to Nick, but Fletcher blocks a Superkick to send it into Matt! All four men are down again and Phoenix is electric! “This is Awesome!” A standing count starts, Matt and Davis bail out while Fletcher and Nick stir. They sit up at 5 of 10, grab at each other, and Fletcher throws a forearm. Nick throws it back, so Fletcher throws another. They stand, DOUBLE FOREARM, and then DOUBLE LARIAT! Both stay up, Matt tags in! Nick dodges Fletcher but Davis drags him out! Fletcher runs but Matt trips Fletcher! Matt then FLIES to take out Davis! And Nick goes up and up to TORNILLO Fletcher! Nick puts Fletcher in, Matt scoops him, BUT THE LIGHTS GO OUT!!

The lights come back, Omega looks around, and Davis trips Nick while Fletcher turns things around on Matt! TOMBSTONE!! Davis gets in, Fletcher takes off his elbow pad, and they aim at Matt. Aussie Open runs in, DOUBLE FOREARMS!! Then COREALIS!!! Cover, Nick breaks it!!! This match is still going and fans are loving it! Fans rally up, Aussie Open go to opposite ends, but the Bucks move! Davis CLOBBERS Fletcher! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! Double whip, but Davis cartwheels! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS again!! They then hoist Fletcher onto Davis, they mule kick the legs and make Davis TOMBSTONE Fletcher! Then they DOUBLE SUPERKICK again!!

Aussie Open may very well be the future of tag team wrestling, but the now is still The Young Bucks! Omega celebrates with his teammates, but then the lights go down again! And when they come up, this time The House of Black is here! They flank the ring, fans are thunderous, and the Elite dare the House to do something! Malakai, Brody and Buddy creep up onto the apron, but then the lights go down a third time. And when they’re back up, the House is gone. Fans boo, but it is clear the House will be coming for Omega & The Bucks.

Instead of at Revolution, the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match happens this Wednesday on Dynamite! Konosuke Takeshita, Ortiz, AR Fox, Eddie Kingston, “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs, AAA’s Komander, and tonight’s main eventers, Sammy Guevara and Action Andretti, will all be fighting for a future opportunity at the TNT Championship!

Lexi Nair is with Chuck Taylor & Trent Beretta. She notes they came up short in Dynamite’s Revolution Tag Team Battle Royal, but they have a second chance in the Casino Tag Team Battle Royal. What will they do differently? Uh, probably not have a 90 foot tall basketball man ringside. But then they get jumped by The Firm! Big Bill Morrissey CLOBBERS Trent while Lee Moriarty goes after Chuck! The Gunns laugh and Austin says, “Oh yeah! Set ’em up!” Chuck is caught in the girder, Austin CLUBS that leg with a pipe!! Morrisey does the same for Trent, Colten hits Trent in the HEAD! The Firm laughs as they leave, did they just do Triple J’s dirty work for them?

AEW returns and Orange Cassidy finds Best Friends down.

The refs and medics check on them. Danhausen is there, too, and he says “Jared Lethal” did this! Chuck says no, and the ref confirms, it was The Firm. Cassidy asks how bad the damage is, but they don’t know yet. Will Best Friends’ friends avenge them?

With it official now that Jamie Hayter will defend her AEW Women’s World Championship against Saraya and Ruby Soho, the civil war within the division is only escalating! Storm avoids the next chop to SLAP Willow! But Willow DOUBLE CHOPS Storm down! Willow fireman’s carries Storm, but Storm claws her face! Storm throws Willow down by her hair! Fans boo but Storms talks Willow to the apron. Storm runs to HIP ATTACK Willow to the floor! Storm mockingly applauds Willow as she stands. Storm then CHOPS Willow, whips her into the apron, and then stalks her as she flops. Saraya talks smack, but Willow throws hands! Storm CLUBS Saraya, whips her into barriers hard, and then soaks up the heat. Fans boo while Rampage goes picture in picture.

Storm and Saraya hug, then Storm stomps Willow down. Storm stands Willow up to CHOP her, then pushes her against barriers. Storm CLUBS Willow, RAMS her into barriers, then POSTS her! Storm keeps on Willow, Willow hits back but Storm CLUBS her down. Storm drags Willow up to the apron, CLUBS her more, then CHOKES her on the ropes. Storm kicks Willow into the ring, stomps her more, but Willow kicks back from below! Storm stomps Willow down! Storm bumps Willow off buckles, stomps a mudhole in, but lets off as the ref counts. They argue, and Saraya pulls Willow’s hair! And CHOKES her!

Saraya gets away with all that, and Storm drags Willow to a cover. TWO, and Storm is annoyed. Willow fires up, she throws body shots, but Storm CLUBS her down again. Willow glares at Storm but Storm kicks at her. Willow throws forearms! Willow ROCKS Storm, runs, but Storm ROCKS Willow! Storm pushes Willow down, digs her knee into Willow’s face, then covers. TWO, and Storm rains down fists! Willow hits from below, Storm rains down even more shots, then lets off to cover. TWO, and Storm is even more annoyed. Willow sits up but Storm stays on her as Rampage goes to break.

Rampage returns and Storm is in the corner. Willow runs in, but her cannonball only gets buckles! SWEET HIP MUSIC! Storm then drags Willow up, TORNADO DDT! Cover, TWO!! Willow survives and Saraya is furious about the count! Storm drags Willow up but Willow back drops her away! Willow headbutts the buckle to fire up, and she runs in, CANNONBALL! And then fireman’s carry for a DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! Cover, TWO! Willow pulls down the straps and fans fire up! Willow drags Storm up, Saraya distracts, but Willow ROCKS her! And then SLAMS her into the ring! Saraya wants mercy!

Saraya becomes the difference maker, and then she gets the spray paint! She shakes ’em up, Storm sits Willow up, but here comes RUBY! The Runaway runs off the outsiders, and then here comes Jamie Hayter! It’s like the flipside to Dynamite as Hayter 7 Britt get Storm! Then Hayter chases Saraya around the ring and back up the ramp! Hayter CLOBBERS, KICKS, and then drags Saraya to the back! Ruby shrugs and says she’s gonna get that belt. Ruby then helps Willow up and Willow agrees, Ruby will be champion! But will that happen at Revolution?

Lexi Nair is with Max Caster, Anthony Bowens & Daddy Ass, and she says that was a big win over The Firm. But also, Triple J won the Revolution Tag Team Battle Royal, making them the third team in the AEW World Tag Team Championship Fatal 4 Way. Their thoughts? Feeling good! Lots of big wins for The Acclaimed, but when it comes to Jay Lethal & Jeff Jarrett, been there and done that. And Bowens said they could put anyone in the match and The Acclaimed will knock them on their asses, so they aren’t scared of anyone. Caster says that’s right! Jarrett & Lethal are a bunch of carny wrasslers, and just a bunch of bitches. They will not have any problems with them.

Billy Gunn says as far as that big 10 foot baby- OH NO! Satnam Singh grabs Billy and throws him into the door! Jarrett, Lethal and even Sonjay jump Caster and Bowens! They beat the Acclaimed down 3v2, sending them into trunks! Billy is again sent into the door, and Lethal puts the FIGURE FOUR on Caster! Sonjay digs his pencil into Caster’s face!! The refs and medics rush in but now Triple J have taken care of the Gunns’ dirty work! The agreement from Dynamite has been completed, but will the winner of the Casino Tag Team Battle Royal still have their say?

Archer drags Bryce up for a BIG snap suplex! Bryce tumbles to a corner, Archer runs in to ELBOW him down! Fans fire up more as Archer drags Bryce up, CHOPS him in the corner, and then says one more time! Fans fire up for that, but then Archer kicks low. Archer trolls the fans, he CLUBS Bryce back down, then drags him up to DECK him! Bryce checks his jaw but Archer prepares his hand. Bryce staggers up, into the choke grip, but Bryce breaks free!

Bryce throws hands but Archer eggs him on. Bryce throws more forearms, runs, but Archer follows to CROSSBODY! Archer stands Bryce up again, and CLOBBERS him point blank! Cover, Archer wins!

But Swerve says, “It seems like everybody wants a piece of Mogul Affiliates’ attention. You want Swerve, you want Parker, you want the Mogul Affiliates? Well next week in the Cow Palace, you got ’em, baby.” Dustin says the Force is strong with Keith Lee and the Rhodes Family, so make no mistake, they’re sending Mogul Affiliates to hell and making it permanent! Will there be nothing to stop what’s coming for Swerve and his gang?

What’s gonna be different tonight?” Sammy wants Mark to stop right there, but then Daniel Garcia speaks up. “The disrespect of Sammy Guevara has gone way too far. This man is a three-time TNT Champion. He is a Pillar. He is married to a beautiful woman and has a beautiful family. And I’m gonna make it my personal mission that Sammy Guevara finally gets the respect that he deserves.” Sammy hugs Garcia in thanks for that.

Action tells Danny that he’s right about all those things. “But last week, when I was laying a beatdown on Sammy and he ran away, he proved to me that he is nothing but a punk coward. And tonight, I am going to prove that I am not just a guy who came in off of a fluke victory. I am not just an upset. I am the real deal! I am the site to see! And tonight, I show exactly that. Because it is just Action, no words, on you, Sammy.” Then it looks like there’s been enough talk. It’s time for the main event! Will Guevara prove he can win without tricks? So I now know who Hook will go one-on-one with next week on Dynamite. This man, he… He loves his country. He has a lot of ego. He’s a family man. he loves his children, just like me. You know exactly who I’m talking about, don’t you, Page?” Ethan does! It’s MATT HARDY! Oh, oops, hold on, Whoopi Goldberg is calling, Stokely has to take this call. Stokely leaves but then Ethan asks Hardy what’s wrong. He thought there was an understanding. Ethan says jump, Matt asks how high.

Hardy does know that, and he is the guy for the job! Hook is the future, but this is the legendary and iconic Matt Hardy! And he is so confident that he’ll put something on the line. Maybe Hook can beat him, and if he does, hell! He can have a match with Stokely! Yeah, nice idea! Kassidy says that they could even be banned from ringside! And No Disqualifications! Ethan loves it! Hardy says he has a Twist of Fate with Hook’s name on it! And on top of that, it will be for the FTW Championship! Will Hardy finally have some gold again? Or will Stokely have to worry about more than a broken arm soon?

The bell rings and Sammy rushes in, but misses! Action rolls Sammy up, TWO! Sammy swings, Action blocks, but then Action kicks and Sammy blocks. Sammy flips Action but Action lands on his feet. Action ducks the clothesline, Sammy RANAS but Action handsprings through! Fans fire up and Sammy is surprised! Sammy rushes in, Action dodges and clotheslines Sammy up and out of the ring! Sammy clips the apron on the way down and checks his face. Action rushes out to fire off forearms! Action CHOPS Sammy, stalks him around the way, and RAMS him into barriers! Fans fire up with Action but Garcia coaches Sammy.

Action refreshes the ring count, he brings Sammy up but Sammy CHOPS! Sammy whips Action at the barriers but Action goes up and over! Sammy runs in, Action ROCKS him with a forearm! Action then jumps up and leaps off the barriers to FLYING LARIAT! Fans fire up, Jericho is annoyed on commentary because Action is so talented. Action puts Sammy in the ring, drags him back up, but Sammy JUMP KNEES! Sammy whips, Action reverses but Sammy sunset flips. Action stays up, brings Sammy up in a deadlift suplex! Action grits his teeth, drags Sammy back up, and puts him back in the ring. Action goes to the apron, springboards, but into a DROPKICK! Sammy soaks up more heat while Action writhes. Sammy strikes his lounging pose, and Garcia copies him on the apron, but the ref tells Garcia to get down. Sammy stands on Action with a very cocky Jericho cover, TWO! Sammy wraps Action up in a chinlock but Action endures. Action fights up, pries free, but Sammy knees low! Sammy scoops and SLAMS Action, then he soaks up more heat. Sammy pretends he can’t hear the fans as he paces around the ring.

Sammy goes to a corner, he climbs up, but Action springs up to ROCK him! Action climbs up to fire more forearms, then he stands Sammy up. Sammy throws body shots in return, then he shoves Action down! Sammy says he’s loco, and then stands, only for Action to PELE! Action runs and jumps right up, to SUPERPLEX!! Both men writhe on the mat while fans fire up! Jericho is furious! He tell the camera to get off him and go back to the ring! Sammy and Action stand up, and Action counter punches Sammy! And again, and again! Action fires off on Sammy, whips, but Sammy reverses, only for Action to CLOBBER him!

Action rallies with big forearms, then he spins Sammy into a BACKBREAKER and NECKBREAKER! Fans fire up, Sammy bails out, and Action builds speed to DIVE! Direct hit at the ramp, and Action hurries back to the apron. ARABIAN PRESS! Fans fire up while Sammy is down again! Action survives and Sammy is shocked! Sammy drags Action into a drop zone but fans rally for him. Sammy tells them to shut up, and he goes up top.

Action drags Sammy up though he’s deadweight, and Action torture racks him! Action steals– NO! Sammy lands on his feet, ROCKS Action, but Action ROCKS him back! They hold onto each other’s wrists as they fire off forearms back and forth! They speed up, the fans fire up, Action SOBATS, KNEES, but Sammy ducks the enziguri to JUMP KNEE! Action rebounds, roars, and- SUPERKICK from Sammy! Sammy JUMP KNEES again!

Fans boo as Sammy runs, but into a SPANISH FLY!! Cover, TWO!!! Sammy survives but Action won’t give up! “This is Awesome!” as Action goes to a corner. Action aims from the apron, but Garcia rushes over! Action jumps his sweep, and then mule kicks Garcia down! Action ROCKS Sammy, GAMANGIRIS, and Sammy is down again! Springboard SWANTON! Cover, TWO!! Fans rally for Action and he runs corner to corner at Sammy, SHOTGUN dropkick! Sammy hits buckles and then falls into the drop zone! Action goes back to the corner, but Sammy distracts the ref so Garcia can CLOBBER Action!!

Sammy didn’t need a bat, he had Garcia! Jericho leaves commentary so he can celebrate with his boys, but will the JAS ever win fair and square? Or will not even “sports entertainment” win out in the Face of the Revolution?

My Thoughts:

A great Rampage, especially with a lot of great story progression that Rampage really needs to be able to provide more often. After Triple J and The Gunns talked on Dynamite, the attacks during the interview promos were great moves. I feel like Best Friends getting jumped by The Firm is foreshadowing that Best Friends win the Casino Tag Team Battle Royal for the reasons I felt on Dynamite. This is how they will settle things with Triple J and get the Golden Globe back, but The Acclaimed win the belts back to settle things with The Gunns. But I do also like that Cassidy is taking on his literally biggest challenge in Big Bill, that’ll be some good stuff.

Also good promo from the other part of The Firm, where Stokely makes us think it’ll be Ethan but then surprise, it’ll be Hardy. Hardy VS Hook will be great stuff, and Hardy would be the person to get character stuff out of Hook. Also, pretty sure Stokely will be mad his guys made a match for him without talking to him about it, and Ethan will probably try to say they were just joking around, but joking around like that always backfires in wrestling. And great promo from Dustin, Keith Lee and Swerve to set up a tag match. Not quite what I expected but I guess Trench had to be taken out in order to get it down to 2v2 before we get Keith VS Swerve at Revolution or something.

Jade had a good promo calling out everyone so that we could get just about anyone showing up to face her. I honestly can’t be sure who steps up to her, but at this rate, I don’t know if she’s going to get to 60 by Revolution, she might just be aiming for 55-0 at that point. Great match from Storm VS Willow, but of course Saraya gets involved. We really do get a flipside from Dynamite where Britt & Hayter go after Storm & Saraya, and I suppose Ruby is still the favorite for winning the Triple Threat. But they’re leaning into it so much that it makes me think it won’t happen. It could end up overbooked since Hayter will have Britt, Saraya will have Storm, and Ruby might even have Willow ringside.

Great opening match from Bucks VS Aussie Open, and of course The Bucks win. I feel like that very first blackout was a botch. That kind of stuff doesn’t happen unless something’s going to happen. And then it happened at the proper time where the House actually shows up. Their Trios title match for Revolution is going to be awesome stuff and could probably go either way. Great squash win for Lance Archer, I hope he gets going in the world title scene this time because honestly, what could MJF do or say that’d get under his skin? What hope does MJF have at stopping Archer from becoming #1 contender if he really wants to do that?

And great stuff with the main event. Great main event interview with Mark Henry, Sammy VS Action was a great match, but of course the JAS cheat. I also like that, though outta nowhere, the Face of the Revolution Ladder match is happening on Dynamite. Great selection of participants, and while Eddie and Ortiz cancel out, it’s a toss-up between the other five. A lot of it could foreshadow who wins in Samoa Joe VS Wardlow, though, in the usual “we need to have Face VS Heel” way. If Joe is meant to win, then a Face like Konosuke or Action will win the big gold floaty. If Wardlow is meant to win, then a Heel like Hobbs or Sammy could win. Either way, awesome possibilities await.
