The trios sort out, Bandido starts against Moxley and the fans are on Bandido’s side. Bandido and Moxley approach, Moxley kicks low then CLUBS Bandido down. Moxley fires off knees then stomps Bandido down. Moxley drags Bandido up, swings, but Bandido dodges to JAB! JAB! And JAB! But Moxley thumbs Bandido in the eye! Moxley CHOPS Bandido, whips him corner to corner, but Bandido goes up and over, rolls and DROPKICKS! Moxley staggers but Yuta tags in. Bandido tags Trent and Trent steps to the former friend and student. Yuta SPITS at Chuck, but Trent throws forearms with him!

Fans fire up as Trent ROCKS Yuta! Yuta rewinds, swings, spins Trent, OLYMPIC- NO, Trent arm-drags Yuta away! Trent then CLOBBERS Yuta! Yuta bails out, Trent tags Chuck, and Chuck brings Yuta up. Chuck RAMS Trent into railing, stomps away on him, but Claudio storms over. The ref has Claudio stay back, but this is enough for Yuta to CHOP BLOCK Chuck! Yuta puts Chuck in, KNEES him and tags in Claudio. The BCC mug Chuck, and Claudio suplexes to SLAM Chuck hard! Elbow drop, cover, TWO! Claudio brings Chuck over, tags Moxley, and the BCC mugs Chuck more. Moxley then cravats to neck wrench.

Yuta tags in, the BCC continue to mug Chuck. Yuta runs in but into a SEXY CHUCKIE KNEE! Fans fire up, Chuck tags Trent, Yuta tags Moxley! Trent CHOPS, and CHOPS and CHOPS! Moxley ROCKS Trent in return! Moxley runs, Trent gets around and GERMAN SUPLEXES! Moxley is right back up, but he runs into another GERMAN SUPLEX! Moxley tries a third time but gets a HALF ‘N’ HALF! Moxley staggers up but flops over, and fans fire up! Cluad8io runs in, Trent dodges and Bandido dumps Claudio out! Best Amigos coordinate, fans rally, and both Trent & Chuck build speed, TRIPLE AERIAL ATTACK!

Fans are thunderous as the BCC go down! The Best Amigos put Moxley in the ring, Trent climbs up, but Claudio pushes Moxley aside to UPPERCUT Trent out of the air! The BCC drag Trent to their corner, Moxley stomps away then tags in Claudio, and Claudio slingshot stomps! The BCC is in control as Rampage goes picture in picture. Well, they should but it’s mostly just a commercial for DC’s The Flash, and then we go to break.

Rampage returns and Claudio has Trent in a top wristlock. Trent fights up, throws body shots, but Claudio knees low! Claudio BOOTS Chuck, but Trent backslides! TWO, and Claudio has the wrist. Tag to Moxley, and he stomps Trent down. Moxley KICKS Trent to a corner, then KICKS him again! And again! Moxley bumps Trent off buckles then clotheslines! And whips corner to corner, but Trent dodges this time! TORNADO DDT! Fans fire up while both men are down! Trent and Moxley crawl, Moxley is dizzy but he finds his corner, hot tags to Claudio and Bandido! The Most Wanted goes up top TORNILLO!

Bandido BOOTS Yuta, runs and RANAS Claudio! Claudio staggers up, Bandido runs corner to corner but is put o the apron. Bandido GAMANGIRIS back, springboards and RANAS again! Cover, TWO!! Moving right along since Mark Sterling’s still here, Max Caster, Anthony Bowens & Daddy Ass are building their trios momentum! And of course, Platinum Max has a diss track! “Everything is bigger in Texas, y’all. That’s kinda weird, since Josh Woods has some little ass balls. I beat Josh Woods up in Austin, y’all gonna have to work from home like you’re Tucker Carlson! The best trio in the game. In Texas, everybody loves The Acclaimed!” Bowens gets the mic to say, “AAAAUSTIIIN, TEXAAAAAS~! The Acclaimed have arrived! SCISSOR ME, DADDY ASS~!” And he does~! But will these three bankrupt Daivari Dinero’s all-star team?

The trios sort out and Caster starts against Woods. Woods rushes Caster at the bell but Caster drop toeholds. Caster then arm-drags Woods to an armlock, and he thrusts on the arm. Caster keeps on the armlock, Woods fights up but Caster wrenches to YANK the arm. Caster points to the corner, fans fire up, and Caster tags in Billy! Woods gets away but Billy steps to him. Woods pushes Billy, Billy pushes back. They tie up, Billy headlocks but Woods powers out. Billy runs Woods over! Woods scrambles away to tag in Daivari. Fans fire up for Billy but Daivari talks trash. Billy kicks Daivari low and says “SUCK IT!”

Daivari avoids the Famouser and Nese tags in now. Billy says it was that close. The Premier Athlete taunts Billy by flexing, and Billy counts the abs. But then Billy brings the shirt up, and fans fire up for the SUPER DAD BOD! But Nese JABS! Nese runs, but Billy scoops him, to a SIDEWALK SLAM! Cover, ONE!! Nese is hanging tough but Billy again says it was that close. Billy looms over Nese and Rampage actually goes picture in picture.

Billy brings Nese up, brings him over, and tags in Bowens. Billy scoop SLAMS Nese, then holds the legs open! Bowens goes up, SCISSOR ME TIMBERS! Fans are fired up as The Acclaimed all SCISSOR FINGER~! Bowens brings Nese up, CLUBS him down, then brings him up again. The fans sing “OH~ Scissor Me Daddy~!” Bowens CLUBS Nese, tags Caster, and the Acclaimed double suplex! Caster covers, TWO! Fans still rally and Caster brings Nese up. But Nese RAMS Caster into the corner! The Varsity Athletes all mug Caster! The ref counts, Woods tags in and he scoops Caster to SLAM him!

Woods mocks the scissors, then he drags Caster over. Tag to Daivari, he stomps Caster, and bumps him off buckles. Daivari CHOPS Caster, follows him along the ropes, and bumps him off buckles. Daivari stomps Caster, taunts Billy, then gets away to the corner. The ref keeps the order, and Daivari bumps Caster off buckles. Daivari RAMS into Caster again and again, then brings Caster around. Tag to Nese, and the Varsity Athletes mug Caster as Rampage goes to break.

Rampage returns and Woods DECKS Caster! Woods drags Caster away, suplexes, but Billy scraps with Daivari on the outside! Billy sends Daivari into railing while Caster slips free. Well, no, Harley, not you… (It’s a men’s title) But hey, the big news was on Wednesday! Finally, they are being recognized! The Monstar is front and center of AEW Collision! But wait. What does that mean for QTV? Well, Solo wasn’t on the poster, so…

But Harley says it is great! This is another chance for Hobbs to totally dominate! Yes, think of all the new people he can lay out! Miro! Buff Bagwell! The Blue Meanie! Tatanka! Guys, take this seriously. Because what matters is that on June 17th, the real story in the Book of Hobbs begins.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring.

He brings up that Double or Nothing is just a week from this Sunday, and one match that has been signed with a special stipulation involves these three, it’s the HARDY PARTY! Isiah Kassidy is with Matt & Jeff Hardy as they head down to the ring. Schiavone says they DELETED The Firm, and now at Double or Nothing, it is a special match close to Matt’s heart. Matt says yes, it is official, #HardyParty VS The Ass Boys & Ethan Page! And if the Hardy Party wins, Matt Hardy is in charge of Ethan Page’s contract! And that is poetic justice!

Jeff says, “Hell to the yeah, y’all. Austin city limits, music is the universal language that we all understand. And we are writing our song about becoming the AEW World Tag Team Champions!” Fans like the sound of that, but Ethan Page interrupts. He’s on stage and fans boo as Ethan says, “Yeah, I’d boo myself. I got my ass kicked by everybody in that ring, and I’m by myself. So please, just hear me out, guys. I asked the Gunns for help. I didn’t ask them to come make a match, or put my contract on the line, or to keep this going. Matt, me and you have been at this for way too long. I’m done. I’m done. Me and you, we’re finished.

“Jeff, I barely know you, we just met, and I already did not enjoy the experience of getting Swanton Bombed, so we’re done.” Ethan joins them all in the ring, and he wants Zay to tell the boys they can trust him. Isiah doesn’t trust Ethan. What? Why not? They’re even closer than the Hardy brothers! What happened when Quen got hurt, huh? Who answered the calls? Who replied to the texts? Who backed Kassidy and said those girls were cute? ETHAN! But hey, better yet, when Kassidy was moaning and everyone thought that was silly, who said that was marketable? Who went with Kassidy? Ugh~… ETHAN!

Ethan and Kassidy could’ve been a tag team! The Moan Event! And then the Hardys go and play him for a fool. Let’s hug this out. Kassidy shoves Ethan away. Then shake his hand like a man! Ethan makes Kassidy shake his hand and he won’t let go. But that’s so the Ass Boys- er, Gunns, can attack the Hardys from behind, with chairs! DOUBLE CHAIR SHOTS! Ethan has Kassidy caught, and he feeds Kassidy to a CHAIR SHOT! And then another! Fans boo, and Colten gives Ethan a chair so he can put it around Kassidy’s neck! The Gunns hold Kassidy down, Ethan goes up, and he STOMPS the chair!!

Kassidy coughs and sputters, and Ethan says he won’t ever moan again! Hell, he might not even wrestle ever again! But they’ll see Hardy Party at Double or Nothing! Will what’s left of The Firm get revenge on Matt & Jeff Hardy and keep them from ever being champions?

Chris Jericho speaks from commentary.

“Adam Cole, he’s a coward, exactly what I said he was. You didn’t see the Jericho Appreciation Society waiting to ambush Roderick Strong, and yet Adam Cole, supposed to be banned from the building, ends up 2-on-1 to beat The Ocho. Adam Cole is a coward, he is not a man of his word, and if he was here right now, I would beat his ass!” But Cole speaks from outside the building! If Jericho wants to fight, Cole’s right here! But since Jericho’s too much of a coward to let Cole into the building, Cole will explain something to him. “Every single week, I am going to make your life a living hell. Every single week, when you leave an arena, I am going to beat your ass. And trust me when I tell you, there is nothing you can do about it!”

Jericho says it’s funny Cole would bring that up. Because the legal counsel Jericho has that says Cole is banned from the building is now null and void. Jericho is challenging Cole for Double or Nothing, in an UNSANCTIONED MATCH! This legal agreement is now null, and Jericho tears it up. Cole is allowed in the building again. Wow. Did Jericho just rip that up? Thanks. That’s what Cole wanted. Because now Cole can step inside! Jericho realizes his mistake! Rampage goes to break, will Cole find Jericho before we get back?

Rampage returns as Cole heads down the bleachers!

Jericho says Cole better not come to the stage. The match is already made, there’s no reason to! But Cole isn’t stopping, and Jericho says at least it isn’t from behind. Cole rushes up the ramp, Jericho meets him and they brawl at the stage! Fans fire up, but security rushes out. Fans boo, and chant “Let Them Fight!” Jericho gets loose and he runs down the ramp to hit Cole again! They end up by the ring, the security pulls them apart, and refs even help out. But now Cole breaks loose, runs up the ramp, and attacks Jericho on the stage! The security pulls them apart again and Cole says Jericho is finished! Will nothing stop Cole from doing anything he wants to The Wizard?

Dustin bounces off buckles, staggers and stumbles to ropes, and Kaun CHOPS him! Kaun whips, Dustin CLOBBERS Kaun! Dustin then brings Kaun around to clothesline Kaun out of the ring! Fans fire up as Dustin goes out to UPPERCUT Kaun, then CHOP him against railing! Dustin SMACKS Kaun off railing, then brings him back around. But Kaun knees low and CHOPS! Dustin CHOPS back! Dustin puts Kaun in the ring, Kaun CLUBS Dustin and digs his knee in!

Kaun CHOKES Dustin on the ropes, the ref counts, and Kaun lets off. Kaun UPPERCUTS Dustin, scoops, but Dustin slips off to atomic drop! Dustin runs, but Nana trips him up! Fans boo and Dustin glares at Nana, but Kaun rushes in. Dustin dodges Kaun, CHOPS him and brings him around again. Dustin whips, Kaun reverses and Dustin hits the camera! Fans boo but Nana tells Dustin he’s a fool! Kaun goes out after Dustin, and Dustin is busted open from that camera shot! Kaun stomps Dustin down and Rampage goes picture in picture.

Kaun puts Dustin back in the ring, stomps him, then drags Dustin back up. Kaun turns Dustin for a NECKBREAKER! Dustin drags himself to ropes but Kaun is already there on the outside. Kaun wipes Dustin’s blood off on himself, then hits a DRAPING NECKBREAKER! The ref checks Dustin while Kaun leaves him behind. Kaun says to count him out, and the count begins. Kaun distracts the ref, and Nana stomps Dustin! Kaun goes back out to stand Dustin up, and CHOP him! Dustin rolls into the ring, Kaun follows, but Dustin throws hands! And elbows! And CHOPS! Dustin whips Kaun to a corner, runs in, but Kaun dodges!

Kaun comes back to CLOBBER Dustin! Kaun covers, TWO!! Dustin is still in this, even though he now has a crimson mask to go with his red face paint. Kaun argues with the ref but the count was the count. Kaun sits Dustin up, runs and wraps on a chinlock. Dustin endures as Kaun squeezes tight. Nana likes what he sees as Dustin fades. The ref checks, but Dustin gets a second wind! Dustin fights up as the fans rally, but Kaun STOs! Kaun wraps on a chinlock and thrashes Dustin around! Dustin still fights up, breaks free, and he headlocks. Kaun powers out, but Dustin bounces off buckles and heads collide!

Both men are down in a daze and Nana grows worried now. Rampage returns to single picture and fans rally up. Kaun brings Dustin around but Dustin throws body shots. Dustin whips, Kaun avoids the powerslam and KICKS Dustin! Then fireman’s carries, for an AIR RAID CRASH! Cover, ONE?!? Fans fire up and Dustin is feeling it! Kaun ROCKS Dustin with a forearm, but Dustin eggs him on! Kaun throws more forearms, but Dustin roars! Dustin ROCKS Kaun with haymakers, then whips, to LARIAT! Kaun staggers up, into another LARIAT! Dustin kicks low, RHODES UPPERCUTS, and then POWERSLAMS!

Fans fire up with Dustin and he has Kaun in a corner. Dustin climbs up to rain down fists! Fans count all the way to 7, but Kaun TRIPS Dustin up! Fans boo but Nana is happy. Dustin kicks Kaun low to hop on, CODE RED! Cover, TWO!! Kaun escapes, but Dustin reels him back in! STUFF PILEDRIVER! Cover, TWO!! Kaun survives and Dustin is furious! Dustin pounds the mat, fans rally behind him, and Dustin brings Kaun around. Dustin ROCKS Kaun, ROCKS him again, and reels Kaun in. Kaun wrenches out, kicks low and reels Dustin in, but Dustin fights the underhooks to back drop! Kaun sunset flips it, TWO!!

Dustin escapes in time, but Kaun runs back in to SHOTGUN him into buckles! Kaun goes corner to corner again, fans rally as hard as ever, and Dustin dodges! Kaun hits buckles, and Dustin BULLDOGS! Dustin hurries to suplex, FINAL RECKONING! Cover, Dustin wins!

The Natural sheds blood, sweat and tears in his hometown, but then BRIAN CAGE attacks! Swerve’s Machine stomps Dustin down, and then drags him back up! POWERBOMB!! Fans boo but Nana runs the ref off. Swerve swaggers his way into the ring, Cage, Kaun and Nana all stomp Dustin. Swerve grins, but KEITH LEE makes his way out! Swerve tells Nana to handle this, and that means Kaun & Cage rush up. Keith DECKS Kaun, he fires off on Cage and RAMS him into railing! Keith glares at Swerve as he heads to the ring. Swerve grins, even as fans sing “OH~ Bask in His Glory~!”

Keith and Swerve step to each other, but then Kaun & Cage get back in! They attack Keith from behind, Keith throws hands and elbows, but Cage throws hands, too! Keith and Cage brawl, but Nana gets a chair to Kaun! Kaun SMACKS Keith on the back! Nana hurries to put the chair in place, Cage fireman’s carries Keith, for an F5 onto the chair!! And then Swerve goes up while the Embassy makes Keith take a seat. Fans boo as Swerve KILL STOMPS Keith off the chair! Cage makes Dustin watch from within a Camel Clutch! The Mogul Embassy stands tall over Naturally Limitless, will there be no stopping this conglomerate of brutality?

My Thoughts:

Great stuff for Rampage, though the technical mishap of picture in picture just being The Flash was a bit silly. Has the AEW team not figured out how to do this stuff yet? That aside, of course the BCC beats Best Amigos, they’re getting momentum both for Anarchy in the Arena, but also for Claudio & Yuta taking on The Lucha Brothers for the ROH World Tag Team Championships. Pretty sure the BCC won’t win that, though, as Claudio is still ROH World Champion and the Lucha Brothers need to be the ones taking on all the different teams in ROH. Also a great win for The Acclaimed in trios action, I’m surprised they’re not making a Double or Nothing challenge official already.

A little disappointed that Jade Cargill’s first open challenge wasn’t against someone we’ve seen on Elevation, Dark or even ROH on a more regular basis, but whatever, she was gonna win that anyway. And what a way to pad the win-loss record by having another jobber show up. But I did like that Taya Valkyrie showed up to stop Jade from getting to 60-0 now. That will be a great match, especially now that Taya can “legally” use the chicken wing facebuster. And honestly, this should be when someone beats Jade for the title. I honestly have no idea who else AEW is supposed to bring in to finally defeat Jade otherwise.

Really good promo from Kyle Fletcher to call out Orange Cassidy, they’re going to have a great title match, but I feel like maybe Cassidy gets this one so that he gets to 22 “and busts” in the battle royal, where a loss there is strongly protected since there are 20 others in it. Really good promo turned brawl for Hardy Party and Ethan, and Hardy Party is on the defensive so of course they’re going to go over at Double or Nothing. And likewise, a great promo turned brawl for Jericho and Cole. An Unsanctioned Match between those two is going to be awesome, but I also fully expect the JAS to try and help Jericho to win. It won’t matter since it won’t to the official record, so why wouldn’t Jericho cheat and then pretend like he beat Cole all on his own?

And of course, a really good main event, and wow, did not think Dustin would bleed quite so hard. Dustin winning made sense, because of course the Mogul Embassy beat down both Dustin and Keith. I was sure this was meant to be a tag match tonight but we didn’t see Liona in the attack so maybe he’s healing up. But we definitely need this to turn into Naturally Limitless VS Swerve & Cage as the blowoff so that Swerve and Keith can both finally move on to other stories.
