The Acclaimed speak.
Max Caster says, “The best two man team in the game is back. We came to rap ‘n’ grace the mat. You ain’t leavin’ with your brain in tact. Mind blown, microphone is how we blaze the track. The Acclaimed is back.” Anthony Bowens says that is a mic drop!
Christian Cage speaks.
Captain Charisma says it is apropos that tonight they’re in the legendary Greensboro Coliseum, because a legend of the greatest TNT Champion will continue to grow.
CMFTR speaks.
Cash Wheeler tells the House of Black that this is Greensboro, so welcome to their house. Punk says X marks the spot, so it’s naptime for the House of Black, courtesy of the REAL World Champion and a GTS. Dax Harwood says they already have three belts, why not add three more? #TopGuysOut.
Tony Schiavone is in the ring.
He says that needless to say, there is a lot to talk about tonight. Let’s bring out Absolute Ricky Starks! Fans boo as Ricky Starks makes his way out, given what he did to Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat just last week! Starks still stands on the corner for the obscene amount of pyro, then stands with Schiavone in the ring. And he even takes off his belt! Schiavone says that’s Steamboat’s belt! Starks seems so “distraught,” but Schiavone means that sarcastically because Starks used that belt to lash Steamboat, who was just doing his job as a referee in last week’s Real World Championship match.
As such, Starks has been SUSPENDED for 30 DAYS! NO wrestling for Starks! He beat a 70 year old man for crying out loud! Starks says it wouldn’t matter if Steamboat was 70 or 100, or even just 30. Starks says you have to have consequences for your actions! And he isn’t talking about himself, he means Steamboat! Steamboat cost Starks so Starks had to whoop that ass! Parents understand that, right? Starks tells Steamboat he still loves him, but he had to do something that hurt him more than it hurt Steamboat.
And the other thing, YEAH, he figured he’d get suspended. AEW has a history of screwing the good guys! Yeah, that’s right, Schiavone! Don’t look at Starks with that dumbass face! All y’all out there in the back, you trying to play Starks like a joke? Well he got a MANAGER’S LICENSE! Starks ain’t wrestling, but he is still gonna be on this damn show cuz this is HIS show, this is HIS face, and this is HIS freakin’ legacy! Fans oddly cheer that, admiring the fire more than the results. Starks shouts, “You don’t have to like me, but you don’t have to love me. But guess what, you will RESPECT me!” Look at him like that again, Schiavone, you get whooped!
Starks says yeah, he’s unhinged! He is Absolute Starks! And Punk, know one thing: blood is on YOUR hands! You brought Steamboat here, you are the reason he got those lashes! So the question is Punk got the W, Starks got the L. Starks can leave with his, can Punk? No. Punk isn’t Superman, he ain’t bulletproof, and he damn sure ain’t Absolute! Starks has the fans fired up, and Starks asks if this makes sense to Punk. Cuz it does to him! Starks is proclaiming, he is saying with enough heart and passion, that he is gonna set this whole damn company on FIRE, and he starts next week!
You want a war? Starks will bring it to your front door and make sure you, yo mama, yo daddy and yo sister understand that Starks IS Absolute, and ain’t nobody like him on Dynamite or this deadass show! Starks storms off, but what will Starks do as a manager?
AEW takes a closer look at The Young Bucks VS FTR, Round 3.
How did this rivalry start? It was years before AEW was formed, but it sure fired up once both teams met in AEW. The Bucks won the first, FTR won the second, and FTR wants to be the greatest tag team of all time, and that means settling this. The rubber match for not just the AEW World Tag Team Championships but the title of best today, we see these teams go All In!
The Acclaimed VS The Iron Savages w/ Jacked Jameson!
We heard Max Caster give us a sample earlier, now for a full diss track! “The Acclaimed takin’ out these hippos! Lookin’ like some back-up dancers for Lizzo!” That one hit Beefcake Boulder good. “Iron Savages, all aluminum. Three White guys, damn I keep confusin’ ’em! ‘Bout to make these dudes humble. Got me at a loss for words like Mitch McConnel! Lost one, still killin’ the game. In Greensboro, everybody loves The Acclaimed.” Bowens gets the mic to say, “GRRRRRREENSBOROOO~! The Acclaimed have arrived!” Oh wait, no Daddy Ass to scissor… Well, Billy Gunn aside, will Caster & Bowens get back on track towards the titles?
The teams sort out and Dirty Bulk Bronson starts with the Five Tool Player. They circle, tie up, and break. Fans chant for “DADDY ASS! DADDY ASS!” but Jacked Jameson says he’s not here! The two circle again, tie up, and Bowens headlocks. Bronson powers out, Bowens RAMS him, but Bronson says up! Bronson ROCKS Bowens, Bowens ROCKS Bronson, they go forearm for forearm! Bronson gets the edge and he ROCKS Bowens again! Bronson pumps up, suplexes, but Bowens slips free! Bowens CHOPS, and CHOPS, and ROCKS Bronson with haymaker after haymaker! Fans fire up, Bowens self-scissors to DECK Bronson!

Boulder grabs Bowens with both hands, and TOSSES him back! Tag to Caster, he BACKHANDS, then says he’s gonna lift Boulder!? Caster tries but that’s too big a boulder! Bowens gets in to mule kick, front kick and run, to KOTARO- NO, Boulder stops him!
Caster goes up, he leaps, Boulder catches him! Fans fire up as Boulder carries The Acclaimed around to SAMOAN DROP FALL AWAY SLAM COMBO! That’s the power of #LivingHoss! Boulder stomps around while Collision goes picture in picture!
Boulder stalks Caster, brings him up in the corner, and gives him ARMPIT STINK FACE! Caster sputters as Boulder lets off, that was nasty. Boulder CLUBS Caster, tags Bronson, and the Savages mug Caster. Bronson scoops and SLAMS Caster, then drags him around. Bronson says he’s gonna roll, and he sets up, to HIP DROP! Cover, TWO! Caster survives but Bronson drags him up, tags in Boulder, and the Savages mug Caster some more. Boulder CLUBS Caster, stalks him, and keeps him from Bowens. The fans rally up, Caster throws body shots and haymakers, but Boulder shoves him away.
Caster leaps, but Boulder catches him again! Caster throws elbows and Boulder lets him down, and Caster fireman’s carries!? But then falls right over under Boulder’s beef! Boulder drags Caster to a drop zone, goes up, BOULDER SUALT FLOPS! Fans fire up as Boulder crawls, as does Caster. Boulder goes to stop Caster, and he KICKS Caster back to the open corner. Boulder brings Caster over, bumps him off buckles and tags Bronson in. Collision returns to single picture as Bronson scoops and SLAMS Caster! Bronson goes up the corner now, to BULKY SPLASH FLOP! Caster hurries towards his corner, but Bronson gets a foot!
Caster BOOTS Bronson, and hot tags Bowens! Bowens rallies on the Savages with lariats, then fires off CHOPS and HAYMAKERS on Bronson! Spin and kick and a flurry of forearms and elbows! Bowens CLUBS Bronson down and shouts “EVERYONE Loves The Acclaimed!” Boulder tags in but he runs into a strike fest! SUPERKICK! Bowens runs, but into a FLAPJACK! Bronson returns, the Savages double whip and DOUBLE SPINEBUSTER! Cover, Caster breaks it! Fans are thunderous but Bronson TOSSES Caster out! The Savages regroup, and Bronson goes up the corner! Boulder Electric Chair Lifts Bronson!
Bowens rolls away, Caster springboards, MISSILE DROPKICK sends the Savages down! Hot tag to Caster and he fires up! Caster fireman’s carries Boulder! DEATH VALLEY DRIVER!! Bowens sees Jameson get on the apron and TOSSES him in! Caster scoop SLAMS Jameson, Bowens goes up! SCISSOR ME TIMBERS for Jameson! The Acclaimed are all fired up and so is Greensboro! They SCISSOR FINGER~! Bowens runs, DOUBLE FAMOUSERS for the Savages! Cover, The Acclaimed win!
Winners: The Acclaimed, by pinfall
Shoutout to Billy gets them the win! But Caster has a mic and Billy’s boots. “Yo! Yo! Yo! YO! Listen~! Tonight, the best two man team in the sport has returned because The Acclaimed is back!” And he knows they love this, but even better is that they’re back on Dynamite this Wednesday! They have Billy’s spirit with them, and with that, they cannot be stopped on the road back to the top. Bowens says in the spirit of Billy Gunn, last week, they got to say goodbye, but the fans didn’t. So with that said, Bowens knows Billy is home watching. Greensboro, throw those scissors in the air and make some noise for the legend that is Daddy Ass!
“WE LOVE YOU, BILLY! THE WORLD LOVES YOU, BILLY! AND EVERYONE LOVES THE ACCLAIMED!” Fans cheer for Billy as The Acclaimed heads out. Will Caster & Bowens once again be golden with those AEW World Tag Team Championships?
Backstage interview with Bullet Club Gold.
Lexi Nair is with Jay White, Juice Robinson & The Gunns, and they’re surprised to see not Tony Schiavone. But Lexi, smile because you’re with the Bang Bang Gang! And like Juice told Schiavone last week, when you’re hot, you’re hot, and when you’re not, you’re not! And right now, ain’t nobody hotter than BCG. White asks if Lexi knows why it’s Bullet Club Gold. Juice says it’s because they’re the best. The four of them is the most elite version of Bullet Club ever! There are those who are calling themselves Elite, but they don’t have the right to.
The Young Bucks think they’re the best brother tag team ever? Well they don’t have the right to say that, either. Austin Gunn tells the Bucks that if you thought they were strictly “Collision Cowboys,” nuh-uh! They’ll roll into Dynamite on Wednesday to show you why they ARE the best brother team! Colten tells them not to bring Superkicks to a Gunn Fight. #GunsUp. The Ass Boys have called out a team that could become tag team champions, will Austin & Colten end up just the best tune-up team in AEW?
Mercedes Martinez & Diamante VS Kris Statlander & Willow Nightingale!
The OG Badass and the Cuban Diamond both seem to be after the AEW TBS Championship, and that means going after the Galaxy’s Greatest! But they didn’t think Kris would have back-up! Will the Babe with the Power help Mama Kris deal with a couple bullies? Or will someone get themselves a golden ticket to the title?
The teams sort out and Diamante starts against Kris. They tie up, Diamante waistlocks but Kris wrenches and throws Diamante! Kris storms after Mercedes but Diamante attacks from behind! Willow has power to spare but Mercedes is after her with haymakers! Willow hits back, even hits Diamante, and fires off! Fans fire up but Mercedes drop toeholds! Mercedes ties Willow up in Paradise! Tag to Diamante and the Lethal Latinas pose together!
Mercedes & Diamante each run, and they DOUBLE DROPKICK Willow out of Paradise! Fans boo as Diamante covers, TWO! Diamante keeps on Willow with a chinlock, Collision goes picture in picture.
Diamante CLUBS away on Willow, going harder and harder, then covers. TWO, but Diamante keeps Willow down with a chinlock. Willow endures, reaches out, fights up, and she throws hands! Las Lethal Latinas just snatched one from #SaturdayNightingale! But it wasn’t a pin on the champ, and the champ promises to hurt them for that one! Who will be first for Mama to put on timeout?
Backstage interview with Toni Storm.
Lexi is with the Lightning From Down Under and brings up she has her spot in the All In Women’s Championship Fatal 4. But we did see her a little… out of sorts. Uh, listen toots, Toni has no idea who you are or what you do around here, but she demands your respect! Yes, she has been out of sorts! Depressed, actually, since losing the title. It’s been horrible! But today, she feels a bit better. Because not only does she have the rematch at All In, but her girl, Saraya, will be joining her. That means no funny business, and that Toni will get a fair fight.
These other girls, whether it’s Bunny or Britt in the match, they’re up to no good, not to be trusted! They’re backstabbing, toxic little girls, and Toni will not stand for it. Lexi brings up Hikaru Shida is also in the match, and she’s the one who beat Toni. Sorry, but are you enjoying this? Are you having fun saying that while Toni is in this vulnerable state? Why would you say that!? Just doing her job. Oh, okay, well security will be getting you out of here. This interview is over! SHUT UP! Toni storms off, will she get the belt back in London?
Samoa Joe VS Andrew Everett!
The ROH World Television Champion knows he will be facing Shane Taylor at some point, and he’s still waiting on an answer from “The Real World Champion,” CM Punk. Will Joe bide his time by taking down “The Modern Day Giant” who is really just 5’9″?
The bell rings and fans sing “Joe is gonna kill~ you!” Andrew and Joe circle, they tie up, and Joe ROCKS Andrew! And JABS, JABS, JABS, repeat in the corner! The ref counts, Joe lets off at 4 and Andrew is dazed! Fans fire up, Joe storms back up and he whips Andrew corner to corner. Joe runs in to ELBOW, and PELE! Andrew flops down, and fans fire up again! Joe storms up on Andrew, drags him up, and KNEES him low! Joe whips Andrew but Andre goes up and out and shoulders in! Andrew springboards, but Joe moves! But Andrew handsprings through! Only for Joe to LARIAT!! And COQUINA CLUTCH!! Andre TAPS, Joe wins!
Winner: Samoa Joe, by pinfall
And that’s Andrew’s time, thanks for coming. Joe gets his belt and the mic to say, “Greensboro, my name is Samoa Joe. I stand here as your now and forever King of Television. And your king came here tonight looking for the answer of a champion. But as I stand in this ring right now, I am met with the deafening silence of a COWARD.” As far as Joe’s concerned, the “real” world champion is a real BI*CH right now! Joe wants a fight in London, and dammit, Punk will give him what he wants! What aggravates Joe the worst is that he gave Punk the courtesy of asking, and the mercy of letting him know what would happen.
But since punk doesn’t seem very talkative tonight, Joe will say this: Joe began coming out here asking for what he wants. But now, Punker, Joe is going to “convince” you. What does this warning mean as All In draws ever closer?
Christian Cage & Luchasaurus head to the ring.
Captain Charisma said his piece, and now he and his Right Hand of Destruction walk down the ramp and into the ring. Christian has the TNT Championship on his shoulder though it belongs to Luchasaurus, and then Christian gets the mic. “I have to say, that this is without a doubt the biggest family reunion I’ve ever been a part of. Now, I don’t pretend to know much about North Carolina, I don’t want to know much about North Carolina, but I do know that you’re all pretty much related so… If you could put your hot dogs and French fries down and stop slobbering all over each other so I can have your attention for just a few minutes.”
Fans boo but Christian says that he also knows there are a lot of second-bests to come out of North Carolina. For example, we all know Michael Jordan isn’t the greatest basketball player of all time, it’s LeBron. And as far as wrestling goes, everyone knows that Christian is far superior to Ric Flair or any other wrestler from Carolina! Fans “WOO~!” but Christian says that as TNT Champion, he- they don’t expect respect, they demand it! Whether it is from each and everyone one of the fans wishing they were him, or all the wrestlers in the back wishing they were him. But lately, Christian has felt disrespected by Darby Allin.
Now Darby, Christian already told you this once, as long as this TNT Championship is in Christian’s possession, Darby will never touch it again. Do you understand?! Now Darby has gone on record saying how important this title is to him, but Christian doesn’t care about that. And he knows Darby paints half his face because he’s half dead inside. Darby, while you were too busy doing kickflips and ollies on a skateboard, Christian was building a legacy! Do you understand? If you keep pursuing Christian’s title, Christian will give you that other 50% and get you all the way there! Fans boo but Christian says if Darby wants to be a hero so bad, come after the title and Christian will write him a tragedy!
“That’s about enough.” Arn Anderson!? And his son, Brock! Fans cheer as The Enforcer knows he and Brock aren’t Darby but Carolina knows the Andersons well. And since this is Greensboro, take a bow! This is hallowed ground in pro-wrestling. Matter o’ fact, this is HORSEMEN COUNTRY! Arn says before getting too much further, he wants to point out something to the sea monster on Christian’s left. Breaking news, you’re the champion, not Christian! Christian tells Arn that it’s funny. Arn’s had many moments in this arena, but don’t forget. The most relevant he’s been in years is when Christian left Arn in a pool of his own blood a few months ago!
What happened today? Arn just woke up, got in the fountain of youth? Maybe he should’ve taken a few more laps. He thinks he can just step to Christian, the TNT Champion? Listen, Christian said no more open challenges, but if he wants to get in here, Christian could make an exception. Arn says tell you what, if this was 20 years ago, he’d do just that, get in there with Christian’s narrow ass, spinebuster him and walk away with the title! But you didn’t think this was over, huh? Brock gets in there, and we have a match!!
AEW TNT Championship: Luchasaurus w/ Christian Cage VS Brock Anderson w/ Arn Anderson!
The bell rings, Brock dodges to throw hands, but then Luchasaurus grabs him with both hands to TOSS him to a corner! Luchasaurus runs in but Brock dodges to fire off haymakers! Luchasaurus grows, things speed up, and Brock KICKS Luchasaurus! Luchasaurus just BOOTS Brock! Luchasaurus TOSSES Brock to a corner, fires off hands, then whips corner to corner! Luchasaurus then SUPERKICKS Brock down! Fans fire up and Luchasaurus snarls as he stalks up on Brock. Luchasaurus CLUBS Brock against ropes and Brock falls to the floor! Arn coaches his son but Luchasaurus soaks up the heat.
Christian creeps over, but Arn storms after Christian! Luchasaurus hauls Brock up, wrenches and hits a BIG back suplex! Luchasaurus looms over Brock as Collision goes picture in picture.
Luchasaurus stalks Brock, then stomps him in the corner! Luchasaurus digs his boot in, then stands on Brock! The ref counts, Luchasaurus lets off, and Brock staggers up. Brock throws body shots, but Luchasaurus CLAWS the eyes! The ref counts, Luchasaurus throws Brock down by his head! Brock staggers back up and Luchasaurus scoops him for a SLAM! Luchasaurus sits Brock up to KICK him in the back! And then KICK him in the front! Luchasaurus stomps Brock around, then clamps on a claw into the shoulder. Brock fights up, Luchasaurus brings him back down with a fishhook! Luchasaurus CLUBS away on Brock, then clamps the claw on again!
Brock endures, Arn coaches him up, and Brock fights to his feet. Luchasaurus wrangles Brock down again with a neck wrench! Brock endures as Luchasaurus tries to twist his head off, and then Luchasaurus CLUBS him in the chest! Luchasaurus stomps Brock, but fans rally up. Luchasaurus suplexes for a FALCON ARROW! Then a scoop and SLAM! Luchasaurus wrenches Brock’s neck again but Brock still endures. Christian wants Luchasaurus to finish this already, but Brock fights up to his feet! Brock throws body shots, but Luchasaurus CLUBS him! Collision returns to single picture as Luchasaurus TOSSES Brock away again!
Brock goes to a corner, Luchasaurus runs in, but Brock ELBOWS him! Brock fires haymakers! Fans fire up, Brock runs, and he ROCKS Luchasaurus! Brock keeps moving to ROCK Luchasaurus again! But then Luchasaurus catches him, CHOKE SLAM! Christian says to end this, and Luchasaurus drags Brock back up. BLINDSIDE LARIAT!! Cover, Luchasaurus wins!
Winner: Luchasaurus, by pinfall (still AEW TNT Champion)
But DARBY is here?! And he swings on Christian! Christian runs away, Luchasaurus tosses Darby to a corner, but Darby JAMS him with the skateboard! And then he goes up, to SKATEBOARD STOMP!! Fans fire up as Luchasaurus retreats! Fans are thunderous for Darby! Darby then gets a mic to say, “Luchasaurus, you’re a dinosaur, right? You’re a dinosaur. You’ve been around for 65 billion years! But in that whole time, have you ever had a skateboard up your ass?” And Christian, Darby is getting real sick of you talking. Don’t you wanna be a fighting champion? Next week, Darby VS Christian on Collision! What’s he say to that!?
Christian says fine, you’re on! Good, because when Darby is done strangling Christian with his own turtleneck, he’ll go All Out against Luchasaurus to put some respect back on the title when he becomes the new Face of TNT! If Darby makes it through the Coffin Tag Team match at All In, will he get to go to Chicago and take that title back?
Tony Schiavone is back in the ring.
And he welcomes in one of the biggest and most powerful men in AEW, it is “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs! Hobbs heads to the ring, wearing the new gold links QT Marshall got him, and holding onto the Book of Hobbs. Schiavone says a week ago, QT interrupted offering gifts and words of wisdom. But Hobbs walked out on them! Well, the gift looks good on him, right? Yes, it does. “So last week, an opportunity presented itself. Chicago, the United Center, All Out. The very place where Collision began.” Now we all know these last several months, Hobbs has not found any peace. There is always someone or something distracting him.
So what’d Hobbs do? He took his ass back to the Bay, found the one thing that means something to Hobbs, and that one thing that brought him out of darkness and allows him to inflict violence, violence and violence: The Book of Hobbs! Hobbs doesn’t want anyone’s help, and damn sure doesn’t need it. In his book, the next chapter is entitled, “Redemption.” Fans like the sound of that. So how is Hobbs supposed to redeem himself after losing the TNT Championship? After losing in the Owen Hart Cup? Here’s how he does that: In order to get past the chapter of redemption, he must call out the REDEEMER! Miro, bring yo ass out!
Schiavone moves aside, and Miro appears! Fans cheer as Miro stomps on the stage and has his pyro. Miro then storms down the ramp, eyes locked on Hobbs. But QTV attacks! Aaron Solo & Nick Comoroto jump Miro, then RAM him into steel steps! Solo says that’s right! They got you now! Hobbs seems just as surprised as we are as QT’s boys put Miro in the ring for him. But then Miro TOSSES Solo! And LCOBBERS Comoroto! But then Hobbs SPINEBUSTERS Miro! Hobbs licks his chops and looks over his Book of Hobbs. It seems Hobbs doesn’t mind how this story is written, so long as he is the one winning in the end. But will Miro take the pen from Hobbs’ hand and write his own ending?
Jim Ross joins commentary!
Good ol’ JR is here for the main event, because he is not gonna miss this slobber knocker of a title match!
AEW World Trios Championships: The House of Black VS CMFTR!
Malakai Black, Brody King & Buddy Matthews are ready for any trio to challenge them, but did they ever expect it to be this trio? Champions challenge champions in the House the Horsemen Built, but will Punk, Dax & Cash be able to tear down the House of Black? Or will the House still always win?
Collision returns as FTR make their entrance, followed by CM Punk. The introductions are made, the trios titles are raised, and we see whose house is built with gold!
The trios sort out and fans are torn, some booing and some chanting for “CM PUNK! CM PUNK!” Cash and Buddy start, and the two circle. They feel it out, but then Cash tags in Punk! Fans get what they (don’t) want and Punk is loving it all the same. Punk and Buddy stare down, circle, and then feel things out. They tie up, go around, and Buddy powers Punk to a corner. Buddy kips free, Cash headlocks for the takeover only for Buddy to headscissor. Cash kips free and the two stand off, and fans cheer! Cash does jumping jacks to show off he has the cardio for this. They tie up, Buddy waistlocks but Cash wrenches out to a headlock. Buddy powers out, then pops Cash up but Cash slips free!
Cash waistlocks, Buddy switches but Cash switches back. Buddy goes to ropes, bucks Cash away, then runs up. Things speed up. Cash hurdles and arm-drags! CMFTR work together, double wrench, double CHOP, Punk goes up top. Buddy runs in, but Punk FLYING LARIATS him down!

Punk headscissors, Malaki kips free, both men block kicks but Punk ROCKS Malakai in the back! Punk puts Malakai in a corner, blocks a boot, but not the KNEE! Fans fire up and Malakai BOOTS FTR for good measure! Malakai then runs in, but into a fireman’s carry! Malakai fights free, but Punk avoids the End by sitting down cross-legged! Fans fire up as Malakai stares daggers at Punk. Malakai then sits down cross-legged with Punk! Punk smirks again, fans lose their minds, but the House and FTR step in! All six men stare down, but the ref wants this to go back to 1v1. NOPE, the brawl is on!
Buddy has Cash in one corner, Brody has Dax in the other, Punk and Malakai spill out to the floor! Fans are loving it as Collision goes picture in picture!

Winners: The House of Black, by pinfall (still AEW World Trios Championships)
The King of Wrestling Television punks out Punk, and that helps Malakai and his dark forces hold onto these belts! Joe wants his rematch with Punk, will this convince Punk to go All In? And as for the House of Black, will any trio ever take those titles from them? Or will the House ALWAYS win?
My Thoughts:
A great Collision here, and we didn’t just get All In build, we got some All Out build! Good promo from Christian with Arn Anderson that gave us a rather sudden TNT Championship match between Luchasaurus and Brock. Luchasaurus of course won, and Darby got to go after him and Christian this time. Good promo from Darby, and Darby’s schedule is gonna be pretty wild the next few weeks. Darby & Nick Wayne VS Gates of Agony on Dynamite, Darby VS Christian on Collision, Darby & Sting VS Swerve & AR Fox in a Tag Team Coffin match at All In, and then Darby VS Luchasaurus All Out, Darby better get that TNT Championship cuz this is all proof he is the workhorse for AEW.
Good show opener promo from Acclaimed, Caster giving us a small rap, and then he throws out another great rap at the Iron Savages. Iron Savages looked great again, though they lost. Acclaimed calling to Billy Gunn, I feel like that’s going to make Billy come back somehow. I don’t know if it’ll be to have truly one last match, or because he’ll tell The Acclaimed to leave it alone, but we’ll get a real finish to this story to finish out the year. Really good promo from Hobbs calling out Miro, but I had a feeling QTV would still get involved despite what Hobbs said. Though, I feel like things weren’t arranged right in this story since Aaron Solo randomly attacked Miro before this. But hey, Hobbs VS Miro at All Out, what’s not to like about that?
Really good tag match from the women’s division tonight, great teamwork on both sides given all those times we saw teams like this thrown together on Elevation and Dark. Guess those programs weren’t for nothing after all. Great Heel win for Diamante and Mercedes, Mercedes could easily go for a title rematch or Diamante gets her first shot at Kris. Great promo from Bullet Club Gold, but ain’t no way the Ass Boys beat the Bucks. The Bucks are going to use them as a quick little momentum builder going into All In, and then maybe, win or lose against FTR, Elite VS BCG is the next story going into like the Fall stretch.
Great promo from Toni Storm as she takes on this persona of like, an overly dramatic Hollywood starlet from the 20s or something. Then an absolutely AWESOME promo from Ricky Starks. He may be Heel by behavior but he is becoming this anti-hero character to the fans because he’s also fighting from a position of being frustrated and overlooked. If Starks is going to use a manager’s license to get around the suspension, he needs someone to manage, no idea who that’ll be. But it’s only for 30 days, so hopefully it is someone good that can then watch Starks’ back, as all good Heel groups do for each other.
Samoa Joe of course won his match tonight, but the important part was his promo. Punk obviously didn’t listen to that ultimatum, and what a great move for Joe to attack Punk to help end that Trios Championship match. An awesome match, of course, but I wish it was an Open House Rules match just so CMFTR could give us some stipulation that is meant to help them. Cuz then, Joe could’ve just attacked Punk openly and no one can complain. But in the end, House of Black retain, we’re definitely getting Punk VS Joe for the “Real” World Championship, but maybe now at All Out since that’ll be in Punk’s home town.
My Score: 8.8/10

MJF arrives backstage.
Renee Paquette is there to bring up tonight’s main event is Darby Allin VS Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW World Championship. If Darby Allin wins, MJF will then have to sign a contract for Title VS Hair at Double or Nothing. Darby has made it clear that if MJF doesn’t sign said contract, Darby will never allow MJF to face him for the title again. We all know how important the title is for MJF, but is MJF willing to put his hair on the line for it? MJF just chuckles and moves on, but he notices the very bald Rick Knox, Bryce Remsburg, and the head of security, David Aponte. And then various bald members of the production staff…
And then even Christopher Daniels & Sonjay Dutt are there! Daniels and Sonjay chuckle before moving on, and then MJF sees John Silver flexing. Brandon Cutler, some arena staff, and even Tommaso Ciampa, all bald. Then last but certainly not least, Ricochet! He tells MJF that don’t worry, he’ll look great. Just not as good as Ricochet. AHA~! MJF storms off, will he have no choice but to choose between gold belt and chrome dome?
10 Man Tag: Orange Cassidy, Adam Copeland, Christian Cage & The Young Bucks VS Tommaso Ciampa, David Finlay, Clark Connors & FTR w/ Stokely Hathaway!
While we know the AEW World Tag Team Championship match will be a conglomeration of I Quit Match and New York Street Fight, THE Conglomeration will be waiting on the other side for their own tag title match. And let’s not forget that Matt & Nick Jackson want their own shot at those titles again. With that, can Freshly Squeezed work together with C&C and The Bucks? The fans are electric and it’s not just the volt green! Time for a SUPERKICK PARTAY~! Wait, Stokely grabs a foot each! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Stoke can’t even trip The Bucks up. Cash CLUBS Christian, Ciampa HOTSHOTS the bad arm, and Ciampa hurries to tag in. Ciampa drags Christian around, SLAMS the bad arm off the mat, then SLAMS the arm again! Ciampa POSTS Christian, and Christian falls to the apron. The ref keeps his eyes on the rest of the team so they stay back. Ciampa goes out, and he SWINGS the bad arm into the post! Christian scrambles away, clutching the arm, but Ciampa taunts Cope with a wave.

Another star-studded 10 Man Tag, and it was a huge win for all the hungry contenders. Christian doesn’t wanna celebrate, but he does signal that he and Cope will be champions. Will putting their tag team legacy on the line be enough to take the gold? Or will Double or Nothing be the last night that team reeks of awesomeness?
Will Ospreay continues to train with The Death Riders.
They’re outside this time, Claudio Castagnoli playing some wall ball with Marina Shafir and Pac. Daniel Garcia says, “Tonight is the night that we’ve all been waiting for: The Aerial Assassin, Will Ospreay, is cleared and back on Dynamite. And rumor has it, the kid’s been working real hard and he’s got some new tricks up his sleeves. So Young Boy Billy, tonight you gotta show me something, c’mon.” Garcia gets a quick turn in on wall ball while cameras move over. Ospreay is maintaining a neck bridge while Jon Moxley uses Wheeler Yuta as a living dummy to show just how to push and pull and bend and twist on the various chinlocks and headlocks.
Use the right arm to push against the head, then snake in the left arm for the sleeper. Pry and shoot. Moxley asks how Ospreay feels. Ospreay lets off the bridge and says honestly, the best he’s felt in forever. Moxley asks if Ospreay remembers the night he won the Best of the Super Juniors. Yeah, 2019. AKA a lifetime ago. Ospreay was carefree, flew like a bird, for no other reason than that’s just what birds do. So simple back then, chasing that feeling, like no other feeling in the world. Can’t really grab it in your hands for more than a few seconds. The joy of doing it. Then everybody comes in and tries to make it so overcomplicated.
Years pass, life happens, a family starts, responsibilities show up, bad things happen, bad choices catch up to you, and it’s all weight on your shoulders. You feel like you can’t fly. But Moxley will tell you something: Nothing is different. Nothing has changed. All those things are still gonna be there, but you can still fly. You’re just more dangerous now. You’re a bird of prey. So tonight, when you got out there, don’t go out there to protect anything. Not your neck, your image, your reputation, or what you’ve built in your career. Go out there to give something. Moxley checks on Yuta and says dammit, if you’re gonna snap a headlock, snap the headlock!
Moxley storms off to instruct his pupil, but will Ospreay use everything he has been taught to great effect? Or will he have to fold against Ace Austin?
Chris Jericho speaks.
“You wanna face Jericho in a match of my own design, Ricochet? A spectacle so innovative, so imaginative, it cannot be contained, it can only be witnessed. Well, be careful what you demand, because you’ve made a few enemies yourself, Ricochet. And now a match designed specifically to settle scores without any, and I mean AAANY~, limitations has gotten even bigger.” Chris Jericho & The Hurt Syndicate were just looking for two more, but “Jungle” Jack Perry said he can bring four: himself, The Young Bucks, and KENNY OMEGA! Jericho tells Ricochet that this is no longer what he designed, but it is a devil’s dance of destruction! Ricochet’s destruction!
Ricochet got what he wanted, now can he handle it? Bald. The first-ever SEVEN VS SEVEN Stadium Stampede, who will even survive?
Ricochet & The Demand respond.
They stand with Mark Davis of the Don Callis Family and Ricochet says we all know Jericho does a lot of talking out of his ass while The Demand gets things done. Just like Davis did when he defeated Jack for the AEW National Championship at Fairway to Hell. Hold it with pride, Davis, Ricochet knows you’ll do it well. Davis says he’s got this. Ricochet says Davis has joined the dream team, but he’s not the only one. Because compliments to Ricochet’s golfing buddy, Don Callis, look who else he’s sending: Andrade El Idolo! Gracias, amigo. But it doesn’t stop there, the train keeps rolling. Ricochet was just approached by two guys who have an ax to grind with the superkick sidekicks.
These two wanna fill out the last two spots, so who is Ricochet to say no to The Dogs? Finlay & Connors storm in, and Finlay says to put it simple, they will fight The Bucks in the streets, in the ring, but guess it’s fighting at Double or Nothing! If they want violence, if they want carnage, if they want chaos, who better than The Dogs?! The Dogs bark and Liona roars, but will these seven stand tall in the Big Apple?
“Speedball” Mike Bailey w/ Kevin Knight VS BK Westbrook!
JetSpeed has a lot of momentum on their side, and as stated last week at Fairway to Hell, they’re looking to grab up all the gold they can. Will Speedball keep on rolling towards his own golden opportunity? Or will #Supastud prove his own worth?
The bell rings and the fans rally as the two step up. Bailey bows in respect, offers a handshake, but Westbrook goes to roll Bailey up! Bailey stays on his feet, then steps over to sit down on a cover, TWO! Westbrook ducks a Penalty Kick, avoids the moonsault, and the sweep! Bailey dodges, Westbrook tiger feints through the ropes, but Bailey handsprings up and over! The fans fire up as Bailey ducks an elbow to whip. Westbrook goes up, around, but kinda fumbles his tumble. The fans cheer and jeer him for his attempt, but Westbrook blocks the boot! Westbrook FLIPS Bailey, springboards in, but Bailey dodges! TIME ADVENTURE!
Bailey pushes Westbrook down, goes up the corner, and the fans fire up for the ULTIMATE WEAPON! Cover, Bailey wins!
Winner: Mike Bailey, by pinfall
Another fast ‘n’ furious finish, and Bailey’s on a hot streak! But now, the other side of JetSpeed looks to keep it up! But just who is Kevin Knight defending the TNT Championship against? It’s… BRIAN CAGE!? The Machine finally returns to action, and he has the Don Callis Family with him! Will Cage be able to ground Knight and take this title back to the family?
AEW TNT Championship Open Challenge: Kevin Knight w/ “Speedball” Mike Bailey VS Brian Cage w/ The Don Callis Family!
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who betta!
The bell rings, Cage runs up, but Knight dodges! Knight fires haymakers, Cage shoves him, but Knight dodges. Knight CHPOS, but Cage doesn’t budge! Cage makes the pecs dance, so Knight CHOPS again! The fans cheer as Cage eggs Knight on. Knight urns, leaps, but into Cage’s arms! Cage uses Knight to do curls, then THROWS knight! Knight lands out, RAMS Cage, but Cage comes back! Knight RAMS Cage again, but it’s still not enough! Knight tries a bigger SHOULDER TACKLE, but Cage stays standing! Knight runs one more time, ducks ‘n’ dodges, SATELLITE- NO, Cage stops the DDT! Cage THROWS Knight away!
Knight staggers, Cage SUPERKICKS him down! “Who betta than Cage?!” The fans fire up as Cage storms up on Knight, stands him up, and bumps him off buckles. Cage RAMS into Knight, stands him up, then RAMS again! The ref counts, Cage CHOPS, and the fans cheer. Bailey rallies the fans but Archer coaches Cage, and Cage whips Knight hard into the corner! The fans are torn as Cage hauls Knight up. Cage ROCKS Knight, CHOPS him, then CHOKES him on the ropes! The ref counts, Cage stops at 4, then Cage stalks Knight. Cage stands Knight up, whips him to the corner, then runs in, only for Knight to BOOT! Cage still LARIATS!
Cage hauls Knight up, whips him to ropes, but Knight grabs ropes. Knight DUMPS Cage out, then DROPKICKS him down! Cage sputters, the fans fire up, and Knight builds speed to DIVE! But he bounces off Cage! Cage then fireman’s carries, APRON F5! Knight sputters but Cage goes up the steps to soak up cheers and jeers, all while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Cage refreshes the ring count, drags Knight up again, and hits an APRON BACK SUPLEX! Knight writhes, Cage refreshes the count again, then he whips Knight into barriers! Knight practically falls into the laps of the front row! But Cage brings Knight around to CHOP him down! Cage soaks up the cheers and jeers before he brings Knight around again. Cage SMACKS Knight off the apron, then puts him in the ring. Cage storms into the ring, drags Knight by his legs, and ties the legs up into a TEXAS CLOVERLEAF! Knight endures as Cage sits deep! Knight powers up, fights his way forward, and he reaches to the ROPEBREAK!
The ref counts, Cage lets go at 4, but Cage brings Knight up. Knight CHOPS, CHOPS, and CHOPS, but Cage still doesn’t back down. Knight fires more shots, but Cage UPPERCUTS him down! Cage digs his boot into Knight at the corner, but he stops as the ref counts. Cage drags Knight up, puts him in a corner, and LARIATS! Cage wrenches to then SAIDO Knight away! Knight flounders to the apron, Cage soaks up more cheers and jeers, and Dynamite returns to single picture. Knight rises to fire forearms on Cage, but Cage ROCKS Knight in return! Joe say she is here for one reason and one reason alone. He wants to speak about choices and consequences. Ospreay could’ve made the right choice and get a bye in this tournament, because that is what Joe would do for one of his friends. But Ospreay chose poorly. He could’ve been with the team that would do nothing but support and enhance Ospreay, but he decided to be a lapdog for Moxley and the Death Riders. The fans boo, Ospreay says he’s not a Death Rider.
Joe says Ospreay has made his choice, and come Double or Nothing, Joe makes Ospreay suffer the consequences. But Joe leaves Ospreay in peace tonight, for he has his date with destiny. But unfortunately, Joe’s friends, Katsuyori Shibata & Anthony Bowens, still feel slighted, and he doesn’t put leashes on his friends. Shibata & Bowens storm down the ramp, Ospreay ready to fight them both if he has to. But then The Death Riders appear! Ospreay may not have officially joined the club, but the Death Riders aren’t going to let their investment go to waste! The Opps say they’re #NeverLacking, but that doesn’t seem to be the case now!
Shibata & Bowens back down while Moxley, Marina, Claudio, Yuta, Garcia & Pac all step up to support Ospreay. Joe says, “Soon. Soon.” The fans cheer the Death Riders, or at least Moxley, but Bowens promises Joe is gonna kill you, Ospreay! The dream match for Double or Nothing is on, but will the training with The Death Riders make Ospreay the new King of Harts?

Backstage interview with Don Callis & Konosuke Takeshita.
Renee is now with The Invisible Hand & The Alpha, saying tonight is a huge opportunity in the main event, Konosuke facing Darby Allin for THE AEW World Championship. Konosuke could be heading into Double or Nothing as a- Callis stops Renee there to say Konosuke will be heading into Double or Nothing as a DOUBLE champion! But then MJF steps in, apologizes for the interruption but says Renee’s doing a great job. The Scumbag tells Konosuke that while it’s been a minute since the two of them have talked, three years actually, back when MJF beat him… MJF has seen Konosuke develop into truly one of the best wrestlers in the world!
MJF believes that tonight, Konosuke beats Darby for the title, goes to DON to beat Okada, and MJF can’t think of a better match than Konosuke VS MJF Part 2 for the world title. How’s that sound? MJF offers a handshake, Konosuke shakes his hand, but in Japanese, Konosuke tells MJF that he’ll beat the crap out of him. Thankfully, MJF doesn’t know Japanese. Callis says that was a nice pep talk MJF just gave, and MJF says yes, he knows. That kid needs to win, okay? MJF can’t let Darby turn him into some disgusting, bald freak! No offense, Callis looks great. But look, there is only one foolproof way to know MJF won’t be put in that situation.
So if things get hairy… MJF hands over the Dynamite Diamond Ring! Callis smiles, and say she understands what to do with it. But then in steps Andrade. El Idolo takes off his hat to shake out his amazing head of hair, and smiles at MJF. MJF frowns and leaves. Callis says here’s the deal: Takeshita will bring the world title home to the Don Callis Family tonight! Andrade asks, “How you know?” Callis says aye dios mio, he seriously doesn’t know where Andrade learned English. Andrade says one way or another, the next time, that will be HIS title. Callis says yes, he knows, it’s all good. Callis is a man of many talents, but will his family be dripping with gold thanks to a diamond ring?

But it seems that there is even more business to attend to. Cassidy says yes, the team has a shot at THE AEW World Tag Team Championships. It doesn’t matter who it is, they’re getting their shot, but the thing is… They still haven’t decided on which two will be. Kyle says Cassidy & Roddy should go for the gold, but Roddy shouts, “KYYYLE~! Thank you.” Kyle says of course. But that’s cuz he’s got gold to chase for himself!
The same man that put Kyle on the shelf for months is the man that Kyle submitted twice, and will submit again. Jon Moxley, Continental Champion, when are we doing this? Willow says speaking of gold, she is still the TBS Champion. But she is also in the Owen Hart Cup. She won this tournament before, she’ll do it all over again, so that she can have all the gold for herself at All In: London. She knows she can, and she will! Then Conglomeration has it all in order? Cassidy says hold on, there’s something missing. They should do a Word of the Day. Why haven’t they done one in so long? Roddy shouts for “MAAARK~!” And yes, Mark Briscoe returns!
The Sussex County Chicken is all fired up, and he says the Word of the day is reunification! For Mark Briscoe is back with his boys and his girls, The Conglomeration! But he’ll put this plain and simple: Tommaso Ciampa! Next Wednesday, Briscoe’s after your ass, son! You hear him? But before that, Saturday Night Collision is in HIS hometown, Salisbury, Maryland! That’s just 4.4 miles from where Briscoe originated on this earth! They’re gonna conglomerate and it’s gonna be a a hell of a time! Are you ready!? Willow and Kyle are fired up, Briscoe goes wild, and the team heads out. Cassidy admits, that was a lot of yelling.
But while The Conglomeration is ready to go Double or Nothing, will they soon have even more gold in the collection? Or are these high and lofty a little too much even for them?

Darby drags himself in at 9, but Konosuke YANKS him back out! That refreshes the count, and Konosuke vows to end this for real now. Konosuke points to the steel steps, and he drags Darby up onto them with a deadlift RAGING- NO, Darby knees Konosuke, turns things around, and FULL METAL SCORPION DEATH DROP!!!
The fans go nuts again while Konosuke writhes! Konosuke flops off the steps, Darby crawls into the ring, and Darby just climbs the corner again! SUPER DUPER COFFIN DROP!!! Konosuke might be unconscious! Darby still hauls Konosuke into the ring, pushes him to a cover, TWO?!?!? Konosuke survives and Darby is furious! But Darby just reloads, COFFIN DROP but onto knees!!! Ghost pin, TWO!!! Darby escapes but the WAGAMAMA KNEE finds him!! Konosuke hauls Darby up, but Darby pops free! Trip, step through, and SCORPION DEATH LOCK!!! Konosuke endures, reaches out, but Darby sits deep!!
Callis says don’t even think about it! Konosuke almost does, but he bites his own thumb to ignore the pain in his back! Konosuke reaches out, crawls his way forward, and he fights to the ROPEBREAK!!! But Darby is right up top! COFFION DROP on the back!! Then Darby goes right back up, COFFIN DROP again!!! Cover, DARBY WINS!!
Winner: Darby Allin, by pinfall (still AEW World Champion)
Callis is steaming, but Darby overcomes Konosuke to avenge that loss in the Continental Classic! But it also took so much out of him just to do it! Darby still asks for a mic and one is brought to him. Darby sits up against the ropes, has them cut his music, and he tells MJF to get his ass out here! There’s a contract MJF needs to sign! The ring crew hurries to bring in a table and some chairs for that very contract signing, and MJF makes his entrance. MJF reluctantly makes his way down the ramp, and both men meet at the table. Darby grins with blood still in hiss teeth, and he signs his part of the contract without hesitation, unlike MJF.
The fans already chant “BALD! BALD! BALD!” at MJF, and Darby pushes the contract to his side of the table. MJF grabs the pen, reaches out, but then steps away. MJF scratches his chin as he thinks on this, and the fans just chant, “BALD! BALD! BALD!” again. MJF takes a mic to say he’ll explain something to Darby, looking like he has rabies. But see, MJF is happy for Darby, he hopes Darby’s had fun holding MJF’s AEW World Championship. The fans boo that, but MJF says deep down, there is a small part of him, like the size of a North Carolinian p*nis small. That small part of MJF feels bad for Darby, because he’ll never hold this again!
Darby’s got about a good a chance of holding this title as Hangman Adam Page does again. MJF says guys like Darby are a dime a dozen, here today and gone tomorrow, stuntmen who burn the candle at both ends. In this life, people like all these fans here like to pretend that life is about making friends and family and children. The only thing that matters in life is your legacy. And Darby’s legacy will be that of the kid who had his 15 minutes of fame. They’ll pretend like Darby made a lasting impact, but the fact of the matter is, he hasn’t. He hasn’t! They’ll know deep down that Darby Allin was just a little pr*ck who got lucky.
They’ll know that Darby was too reckless and stupid to stay on top. And after May 24th, Double or Nothing, in that sh*thole of Queens, New York, y’know what MJF’s legacy will be? He’ll go down as the guy who became a THREE-TIME World Champion at just 30 years of age, unprecedented in this sport. And MJF will go down, when it’s all said and done, as the Greatest of All Time! THAT is the difference between them! Darby Allin brags about climbing a mountaintop. But when it comes to professional wrestling, Maxwell Jacob Friedman IS the mountaintop! The fans boo but MJF soaks it up. Darby tells MJF to SHUT UP!
Only someone like MJF who is so vain would think that the number one most important thing in this world is his legacy. Darby doesn’t care about legacy, he cares about living in the moment! And in this moment, Darby just wants MJF to sign the contract. Then at Double or Nothing, Darby makes Maxwell Jacob Friedman a BALLD HEADED B*TCH!! MJF frowns but the fans cheer that! MJF grabs the pen again, and with no choice, he signs on the dotted line! Then he TACKLES Darby! The fans boo as MJF beats up Darby after the war he went through with Konosuke! MJF CHUCKS an armchair outta the ring, FLIPS the table, then picks up his Dynamite Diamond Ring.
MJF puts the ring on his finger like always, then winds up to DECK Darby!! The fans boo but MJF just soaks it all up. MJF throws off his jacket, picks up the belt, and he stands over Darby with it. But then MJF isn’t done with Darby, he puts Darby on the top rope! MJF climbs up to join him, and drags Darby into position! But wait! Kevin Knight runs out here to chase MJF off! The Jet still owes The Scumbag a receipt, but it seems we’ll all have to wait on that. Will MJF still take back the title at Double or Nothing? Or will Darby keep the belt and take MJF’s dignity?
My Thoughts:
An awesome episode for Dynamite as things heat up towards Double or Nothing. Awesome 10 Man Tag to open, great win for the Faces, not that it added much to FTR VS C&C. Good promo from Jericho to look back on Stadium Stampede and hype up this year’s match. Good promo from The Demand with Davis and The Dogs, and I suppose this maximizes the feuds as well as the alliances throughout the locker room. Who knows who wins but the match will still be awesome, just as the original was. Good promo from Conglomeration, too, Cassidy & Roddy going after FTR while Kyle VS Moxley happens on the side, that’s great stuff.
Speaking of Moxley, great promo from him and Ospreay. Moxley’s semi-turn has really brought out his sage philosophical side. Great match from Ospreay VS Ace, and while Ospreay could always bring out his aggression, seeing him use more technical wrestling and even winning with a submission is good stuff. Good promo from Joe, and I liked Death Riders backing Ospreay up. Very good Owen Hart Cup brackets this year, Joe VS Ospreay is a great choice given this story, but I would think Ospreay wins that one. Good promo from Jack Perry to call out Davis, and I suppose Jack can win in the Owen Cup to then move on from the National title.
Great seeing Brian Cage back, he gave Knight an awesome match, but with JetSpeed wanting to go on a Two Man Power Trip, it makes sense Kevin won out. Same for Bailey beating Westbrook, even though Westbrook maybe went too hard on his own acrobatic escape. Great stuff in the Six Woman Tag, and I appreciate Shida didn’t ditch until after the match. Willow, Mina & Rosa might get their own Six Woman Tag with Triangle of Madness after that interaction, but also can’t wait to see if Willow can go back-to-back as Queen of Harts. For that matter, I personally would love to see Athena use the Owen Cup to move on from being ROH Women’s World Champion, but that depends on how Supercard of Honor goes this Friday.
And of course, another wild instant classic from Darby as he overcomes Takeshita. I knew the diamond ring would come into play with that reverse effect, good way of protecting Takeshita in the loss. Good stuff with MJF tonight, too, such as the opening segment’s parade of bald men to send the message to MJF. That was also a unique contract signing segment in that it came together so quickly after the main event match. Good stuff from MJF as always, and of course he attacks Darby. I feel like either Knight should not have made the save, or both parts of JetSpeed should’ve made the save. It just seems odd that only Knight cared about saving Darby. The closing moment was much better when it was MJF standing over Darby with the belt.
My Score: 9/10

Winner: Mark Davis, by pinfall (NEW AEW National Champion)
Talk about a handicap! Callis AND Ricochet gave Davis quite a considerable one, and now Davis has his first singles title in AEW! The Jurassic Express National Tour has just been run off the road, but will Jack be able to get his revenge?
Collision returns, and Jack Perry is on the phone.
He tells someone, “Let’s do it. Thank you, guys.” Jack ends his call, then shows his frustration. Winning the National Championship in his hometown, in front of his friends and family, was one of the proudest moments of his entire life. And yet Ricochet and Callis had to end that for him. But he happens to know that Chris Jericho & The Hurt Syndicate are looking for two more partners for Stadium Stampede. And Jack go to thinking, the show is called Double or Nothing. So how about instead of two, Jack brings FOUR! The ELITE! Jack, The Bucks, and KENNY OMEGA! See you there. Ricochet may have just messed himself over, will he regret ever getting involved tonight?

Callis says he’s thrilled! Jack just gifted him his ultimate fantasy! A chance to beat up Jericho, The Bucks AND Kenny, all on one night? Callis would’ve paid good money for that, and Jack, you dumbass, just gave it away from free! Ricochet says The Don Callis Family must be joining The Demand for Stadium Stampede. Well, given the way Ricochet just used that golf club, the National Champion will gladly stand beside him!
Ricochet says playing golf with Tony Khan has really improved his swing, so see you all there. Callis says yes, let’s go have a drink at the 19th Hole and talk about which of the many members of the Don Callis Family are going to join Ricochet in the slaughterhouse! Ricochet says oh yes, so many great choices to choose from! Callis & Ricochet head out, just how massive will this Stadium Stampede match get?
AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator: The Divine Dominion VS Ruthie Slay & Rachel Ley!
Megan Bayne & Lena Kross are so dominant, they don’t even think this match is going to last five minutes! But while there’s a time limit, will there be no limit to how devastating the Megasus & Aussie Amazon can be? Or will Slay & Ley manage to survive the day?

Winners: The Divine Dominion, by pinfall (denies Slay & Ley a title opportunity)
Two minutes and 15 seconds is all Slay & Ley got, will any team last even that long? Or will the Divine Dominion continue to dominate AEW until the end of time?
BREAKING NEWS for Double or Nothing!
The Triangle of Madness may have misted Persephone and injured Alex Windsor, but that only heaps on more trouble for the champion! Thekla must now defend her AEW Women’s World Championship in a FATAL 4 WAY! Thekla VS Jamie Hayter VS Kris Statlander VS Hikaru Shida, is The Toxic Spider about to get squashed? Or will she need her Sisters of Sin now more than ever?
BREAKING NEWS for Dynamite!
The annual tradition is back! The 2026 Owen Hart Memorial Tournament begins, with the brackets for both men’s and women’s divisions to be announced on Wednesday! Who makes the cut? And who will become the King & Queen of Harts?
Don Callis speaks, again.
“Just moments away from the AEW World title match between Darby Allin and Pac, and gentlemen, just wanted to let you know that the Don Callis Family, no matter who wins tonight, the Don Callis Family will be waiting for the winner. This Wednesday on Dynamite, the Don Callis Family will take the AEW World title from one of you. And y’know, it’s already been a great night, a big night, for the Don Callis Family! We won gold, but can’t wait to get some more. And on the subject of that, Okada has had to go to Japan to take care of some very important family business. But don’t worry, lads, because I have someone in mind to take his spot this Wednesday in the world title match.
“And it is none other than the firstborn of the Don Callis Family, Konosuke Takeshita, The Alpha!” Takeshita steps in, and Callis tells him, “You’re gonna be the world champion! If you listen to me like you always have, you will be successful, and you will finally fulfill the destiny that I had for you when I plucked you out of obscurity and made you the replacement for Kenny Omega. You’re the best wrestler in the world when you’ve got my game plan in your head. Go win the title.” Konosuke tells Don that he was going to take the International Championship, but now he is the person who will bring the world title back to the Don Callis Family! Unlike Okada.
Takeshita heads out, will he still make himself a double champion when he adds #PrettyPlatinum to the NJPW World Television Championship?
“Speedball” Mike Bailey w/ Kevin Knight VS Kiran Grey!
This match was on standby in case the Divine Dominion didn’t need all five minutes of their time, and now it’s a chance for Speedball to shine! But will he keep his momentum going from last Wednesday’s super show? Or will he get lost in the Grey Area?
Grey is already starting trouble as he pushes Bailey. The ref backs him off, then the bell rings. Grey runs up, but into a BOOT! Bailey then PENALTY KICKS, STANDING KNEE-SAULT, then Bailey waits on Grey. Grey ducks the buzzsaw and bails out! The fans boo but Bailey TRIANGLE JUMP MOONSAULTS! Down goes Grey and the fans fire up! Bailey daps it up with The Jet, then he climbs up the corner. But Grey goes after him! They brawl up top, Grey fires a flurry, but Bailey fires back! Bailey SHOVES Grey down, takes aim, but Grey hits the ropes! Bailey is tripped up onto his speedballs, but Grey dribbles him off the buckles!
Grey CLUBS Bailey into a Tree of Woe, then soaks up the heat before he stomps Bailey! Grey tells Bailey to stay down but Bailey grabs that leg! Bailey uses that to drag himself back up, and he ROCKS Grey again! Bailey dribbles Grey off buckles, then HEADBUTTS him! Grey falls, Bailey takes aim, ULTIMATE WEAPON! Cover, Bailey wins!
Winner: “Speedball” Mike Bailey, by pinfall
A fast win for Speedball, and Knight gets the mic. he says he likes that! Speedball is red hot right now. And though The Jet didn’t get two belts on Wednesday, he’s still the Face of TNT. Now, the future of AEW is wide open, so why not they make it to the top together? They shake hands on it, will JetSpeed shift gears to become a Two Man Power Trip? What belt(s) will they aim for next?
AEW World Championship No Count Outs Match: Darby Allin VS PAC!
Anticipating how wild this one can get given the nature of their grudge, AEW decided to remove some of the obstacles standing in their way. They can’t do anything they want, but they can definitely go anywhere they want here in the SoFi Center! But will Darby even up the career series between them? Or will it be 3-1 in favor of The Bastard?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who takes this belt to Dynamite!
The bell rings and the fans rally behind Darby. Darby hops outside already, and he goes around the crowd to be on the golfing green! This is No Count Outs, so he wants to take full advantage of it already! He dares Pac to join him, so Pac heads over to the green! They fire hands on the rough and the fans fire up! Darby ducks, fires hands then HEADBUTTS Pac down! Darby brings Pac up but Pac BACKDROPS Darby! Pac then brings Darby closer to the bunker! Pac suplexes, Darby fights free, and he fires hands! Darby runs up, CODE RED into the sand trap! The fans go nuts seeing what is surely the first one of those ever!
Pac gets himself out of the sand and ends up on the fairway. Darby pursues, runs up, and ROCKS Pac1 they’re near another sand trap, and Darby SHOTGUNS Pac into the sand! The fans cheer “A E DUB! A E DUB!” for making this madness a reality! Darby goes after Pac, but Pac throws sand in Darby’s eyes! Pac then hauls Darby up to BELLY2BELLY SUPLEX Darby into the sand trap! Darby sputters, but Pac clamps on the BRUTALIZER! The ref reprimands, this isn’t Falls Count Anywhere! But fans know “This is Awesome!” as Pac makes Darby suffer! Darby sputters again as Pac lets him go, then shakes out the sand in his boots.
Pac drags Darby up with a headlock, but then decides to fireman’s carry! And gorilla press to THROW Darby back into the bunker! The fans boo but Pac soaks up that heat. Darby sputters and coughs while Collision goes picture in picture.
Darby sputters as he sits up, but Pac brings him back around. Pac brings Darby around, dumps him down, and soaks up more heat. Pac then brings Darby along the fairway, CLUBS him on the neck, and stalks him as they return to the crowd. They then return to ringside, then the ring itself, and Pac covers, TWO! Darby toughs it out, but Pac stalks him to the corner. Pac uncovers a crossbar before he stands Darby up. Fairway to Hell returns to single picture as Pac tiles the tag rope to Darby’s chain necklace! Darby can’t get free before Pac BOOTS him! The ref reprimands, but Darby SPITS at Pac! Pac takes that defiance and BOOTS Darby again!
Pac then has Darby’s legs, and YANKS him from the corner! The tag rope breaks and Darby flounders around. Pac whips to then BACKDROP Darby 450 degrees! Pac then builds up speed, but Darby avoids the lariat! The fans fire up as Darby slingshots back in and dragon sleepers for the SCORPION DEATH DROP! Cover, TWO! Pac and Darby are both down while the fans rally up again. Darby crawls to a corner, climbs up top, and he watches Pac rise. Pac turns around, but he manages to trip Darby up first! Pac then climbs up after Darby, hauls him up, and SUPER DUPER FALCON ARROWS! Cover, TWO!! Darby survives and the fans fire up again!
Pac frowns while Darby flounders out of the ring. The fans rally for Darby while Pac takes his time going to the outside. Pac looks under the ring, and he brings out a table! The fans cheer but the ref reprimands, this isn’t No Disqualifications! Pac still sets the table up nearby, making sure it lines up with the corner. Pac puts Darby on the table, then climbs up said corner. The fans freak out, anticipating what Pac is planning, and he steadies himself as he takes aim. Pac SUPER SHOOTING STARS but only gets table!! Darby avoids disaster, and Pac is somehow still in this after his crash landing! Darby puts Pac in, trips him, and steps through!
The fans fire up as Darby steps over, SCORPION DEATHLOCK!! Pac endures, reaches out, but Darby sits deep! Pac fights, claws, reaches out, and powers his way forward! ROPEBREAK! Darby lets Pac go, and Pac waves to the back. Well, of course The Death Riders are here! Darby spots Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia & Marina Shafir storming down the aisle, but then Pac CLOBBERS him! A distraction tactic is good enough as Pac now turns the proverbial tables. Then he signals for them to get something, and they bring out another table! The fans chant, “On The Green!” but Pac doesn’t care about that. He scoops Darby to go up the steel steps!
The fans boo as Pac tucks Darby in, TOMBSTONE on the steel steps! The fans go nuts as Darby flops to the floor! Wait, wait, wait, now The Death Riders have STACKED tables?! Pac smirks as he brings Darby back up, and he fireman’s carries Darby to bring him over. Darby goes to the backstage area while Collision goes picture in picture.
Pac carries Darby all the way around to the backstage area, because this is the only place to get upstairs! Pac SMACKS Darby off a wall on the way to the stairs, and the ref reprimands while Pac scares off curious fans. Pac drags Darby up the stairs with a headlock, and they go to the upper deck! Pac brings Darby past the nice bar and lounge area, the ref and Death Riders making sure fans don’t get too close. Pac SMACKS Darby off another wall, then drags Darby through this VIP seating area to go to the balcony. Pac stomps Darby to keep him down, then drags him to the balcony railing! And lo and behold, those stacked tables are right there!
The ref reprimands and the fans are freaking out already, but Pac is looking to toss Darby! Darby clings to the railing but Pac CLUBS him. Pac then drags Darby up, but Darby fires body shots! Fairway to Hell returns to single picture as Darby fights desperately! Darby CLAWS Pac’s back, but Marina shouts at Darby! The ref keeps her back, but that lets Pac LOW BLOW Darby! The Problem continues to be just that, but also the insurance policy for the Death Riders! Pac stands Darby up, and THROWS him off!! Darby crashes down through the tables!!! The fans lose their minds all over again while Pac hurries to go back downstairs!
AEW medical staff is already checking Darby as he’s down in the wreckage, but Pac says screw that! He fireman’s carries Darby and puts him back in the ring! Pac covers, TWO!!! Darby survives and the fans are thunderous! Pac and The Death Riders are in shock! Pac falls back to a corner as he shakes his head. Pac argues with the ref, but 2.99 still isn’t 3! The fans rally for Darby, but Pac storms over to him. Pac looms over Darby, Yuta slides a chair into the ring, but the ref snatches it away! Only for Marina to slide the title belt in! Pac takes aim while Darby rises, but then Darby springs to life! Pac has seen a ghost, or maybe a zombie!
Pac winds up, but Darby LOW BLOWS! And BELT SHOTS!! Darby gets Pac in place, goes up top, COFFIN DROP!! Cover, DARBY WINS!
Winner: Darby Allin, by pinfall (still AEW World Champion)
Pac said it himself, Darby is the indestructible boy! But can Darby keep this up? Or will The Alpha come through on his promise and bring this title back to the Don Callis Family this Wednesday?
My Thoughts:
A great hour of AEW here as this special edition of Collision, though “Fairway to Hell” is such a random thing to begin with. They must’ve made a business deal with SoFi and TGL, which to me might be more AEW helping TGL get noticed on a national scale. And changing the status quo with the National Championship was quite the surprise, but that’s still great for Davis. Ricochet being the reason why, and then that compelling The Elite jumping into Stadium Stampede is a bit convoluted. I get they’re using continuity of how Kenny hates Callis and vice-versa, but it undercuts what I was hoping for in Hurt Syndicate getting to introduce new members. But hey, 7v7 is pretty wild, too.
I appreciate Divine Dominion adding something to their squash matches with that five minute goal. Slay & Ley already set a good time with over two minutes, and I’m sure two minutes will be the average as they just dominate all summer. And it seems Alex Windsor is gonna be out a little longer than expected, given that adjustment for Double or Nothing. A Fatal 4 Way is still good for how Thekla can use her challengers against each other, or be protected in a loss if they choose. It also helps bring in the Shidalander story, but it also feels like we’re skipping chapters. That Fatal 4 Way can probably get us to the team breaking up and Shida turning on Statlander for their own feud.
Bailey VS Grey probably was a legit standby match, that went quick. And Knight had a decent promo saying he and Bailey are still gonna be JetSpeed going for all the gold. Not sure if that comes true or just sets things up for the team to fall apart. And then a really wild main event with the “No Count Out” match. They probably could’ve just called that No Holds Barred but they wanted to add heat on how The Death Riders were cheating the second half of that match. Both table spots were risky, but obviously Darby did the crazier one. AEW really needs to be careful not to push it much further than that, though.
Then the news of Okada being out for Dynamite, hopefully it’s nothing too tragic with his family. But Takeshita as the substitute is a good choice, this helps build the Okada VS Takeshita match at the same time as building Darby up. Pretty sure MJF accepts the terms of Title VS Hair, and it’d be very MJF if he were to announce that while attacking Darby to close the show on Wednesday.
My Score: 8.8/10
