Kip headlocks, Jeff powers up and out but Kip runs him over! Fans boo as Kip flexes, then things speed up. Jeff drops, bypasses, but Kip stops himself. Jeff runs in but Kip dumps him out. Jeff lands on his feet, Kip builds speed, but then he fakes Jeff out, and does Jeff’s dance moves! Fans boo as Kip eggs Jeff on, and Jeff slides in. Jeff ducks the lariat to RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! And then Jeff has the legs, LEG TRAP CRADLE! TWO!

Kip escapes, Jeff brings him around and wrenches to CLUB the arm. Tag to Matt, the Hardys mug Kip and whip him to a corner. Then they set up, for POETRY IN MOTION! Fans fire up, Matt scoops and SLAMS Kip! Matt says he now goes up! Matt hops up, fans fire up, and then Matt AX HANDLES Kip down! Matt calls his shot, fans chant “DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!” Matt reels Kip in, but Kip RAMS Matt into the corner! Tag to The Blade, and the squad mugs Matt! Blade CHOPS Matt, then whips him to a corner. Blade runs in but Matt elbows him away! Matt clinches to a SIDE EFFECT! Cover, TWO!

Matt keeps on Blade, whips him but Blade reverses. Butcher gets a cheap shot in, then Blade brings Matt around. Butcher tags in, they DOUBLE HEADBUTT Matt down, and then Butcher digs his knee into Matt’s neck! The ref counts, Butcher lets off, and he CHOPS Matt! And CHOPS him again! Butcher bumps Matt off buckles, whips him corner to corner, then runs in, only for Matt do doge! Matt dribbles Butcher off the buckles, “DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!” Penelope protests, Matt tells her to shush and DELETE! Tag to Jeff, he kicks but Butcher blocks! Jeff SPIN BACK KICKS! Then he CLOBBERS Butcher at the ropes!

Jeff whips, Butcher reverses but Jeff BLASTS Kip and Blade! Butcher CLUBS Jeff, whips him to ropes, and Blade is there but Jeff CLOBBERS him again! Jeff ROCKS Butcher, Ethan protests to the ref, but Kip distracts Jeff! Butcher CLOBBERS Jeff, Blade drags him out to RAM into railing! Ethan storms up on Blade! But Kip ARABIAN PRESSES Ethan and Jeff down! Fans boo as Kip puts Jeff in for Butcher. Butcher then drops a knee on Jeff’s chest! Butcher CLUBS Jeff’s back, drags him up and around, and puts him in the corner. Tag to Blade and they mug Jeff as Rampage goes picture in picture.

Blade snapmares Jeff to KICK him in the back! Blade clamps onto Jeff with a chinlock and he grinds Jeff down. Jeff endures, fans rally and Keith coaches Jeff up. Jeff fights up, throws body shots, reaches out, but Blade throws him down by his hair! Blade drags Jeff over, tags in Kip, and the squad mugs Jeff again. Kip stomps Jeff, and again, and again, and again! The ref counts, Kip lets off, but Butcher CHOKES Jeff! Butcher gets away with that and Kip stomps Jeff. Tag to Blade, Blade keeps Jeff from his team, and tags Butcher in. Butcher drops a leg, brother! Cover, TWO! Butcher drags Jeff up, CLUBS him and stomps him down!

Butcher has Jeff up again as Rampage returns to single picture. Butcher whips Jeff hard into the corner, tag to Blade. Blade tags Kip, then Blade runs in to CHOP and leg sweep! Kip runs in, CANNONBALL! Tag back to Butcher, and feed to the waistlock, HALF NELSON BACKBREAKER! Butcher then sucker punches Matt! Keith is furious but Butcher looms over Jeff. Butcher hauls Jeff up but Jeff JAWBREAKERS free! Hot tag to Keith! Blade runs in but Keith CLOBBERS him! Keith rallies on the Squad, SPLASHES Butcher, CHOPS him, then roars! Fans fire up and Keith paces. Penelope panics and Kip jumps on!

Keith doesn’t even care, he SPLASHES Butcher! And SPLASHES Blade! And then Keith TOSSES Blade into Butcher! Then Keith tosses Kip at them both!! Fans fire up as Keith storms up and reels Kip in! But Kip slips free to ENZIGURI! Kip runs, but Keith catches him! POWERSLAM! Cover, Butcher breaks it! Matt returns to kick Butcher and TWIST OF FATE! Blade runs in, but he gets a TWIST OF FATE from Matt! Fans fire up as Matt gets the Squad out of the ring. Kip springboards, but Keith SWATS him! Keith then hauls Kip up, for a SUPER CHOKE SLAM!! Tag to Jeff and off comes the shirt!

They were there when he needed them, but where was he when they needed him?

The Star of the Show, along with the rest of the Jericho Appreciation Society, have put Jericho himself on notice. But that mandatory meeting on Dynamite next week is secondary to Anna getting up the ranks. Will she choke Chicago Skye out to shine bright?

The bell rings and the two circle. They tie up, Skye waistlocks then headlocks, and hits a takeover. Anna rolls to a cover, ONE and Skye holds on. Anna fights up, slips around to a waistlock, but Skye switches. Anna pries the hold and booty bumps free. Anna and Skye circle again, they tie up, and Anna waistlocks. Skye throws some elbows but Anna avoids them. So Skye booty bumps fere, too! Skye tells Anna to kiss this, and Anna bails out to cool off. Anna mocks Skye, Skye rushes out but Anna slides in. Anna continues to egg Skye on, Skye runs in and dodges to fire off forearms! Fans fire up but Anna whips!

Skye cartwheels over Anna, then keeps moving to run Anna over! Skye mocks Anna now with a bow. Anna ducks the kick but Skye comes back with a mule kick! Skye takes another bow, then runs in corner to corner. Anna dodges, runs back in, but Skye dodges by going to the apron. Skye takes a swing but Anna counter punches! Anna bumps Skye off buckles, Parker talks trash on Chicago, and Anna runs side to side to HEEL KICK Skye down! Fans are torn as Parker taunts Skye, and Rampage goes picture in picture.

Anna goes out to fetch Skye, SMACKS her off the apron, and then turns her around to CHOP! Skye staggers, Menard barks right in Skye’s ear, and Anna CHOPS her again! The ref reprimands Menard & Parker, but Parker raises Anna’s hand like she’s already won. Anna stomps Skye, puts her back in the ring, and Anna kicks Skye around. Anna puts Skye on the ropes and CHOKES her, but lets off at 4. Skye sputters, Parker continues to talk some trash, but Skye throws body shots! Anna CLUBS Skye down! Rampage returns and Anna has Skye down in a motorcycle stretch. Skye endures, the fans rally up, and Skye fights up to her feet. Skye throws elbows, ROCKS Anna with forearm after forearm, but Anna knees low! Anna whips Skye to the corner, then she runs in, but Skye ELBOWS back! Skye goes up, leaps, and CROSSBODIES! Skye bounces off the cover, but she runs back in, SHINING WIZARD at the ropes! Skye snapmares and SUPER0 NO, Anna blocks! Anna spins Skye but the BASEMENT ROUNDHOUSE hits! Skye hurries to cover, TWO! Fans fire up, Menard & Parker rally for Anna, but Skye drags Anna up.

Anna fights the full nelson but Skye throws elbows to fight the clinch! Roll up, TWO! Anna runs in, spins Skye around, wrenches, DANGEROUS HOOK KICK! And then a COMPLETE SHOT! Cover, TWO!! Skye survives and Anna grows frustrated. Anna drags Skye up by her hair, and wraps on the QUEENSLAYER! But Skye drops down to victory roll, TWO! SUPERKICK from Skye! Kris says that what pickles her eggs is that people like Mercedes get shots when just last week on Collision, Mercedes attacked Kris with Kris’ own damn title belt! Kris won’t take that lying down. Kris is out here training 24/7, even now! So Mercedes, you better brush your teeth, put your PJs on, and clean out the gutters, wash the car, and re-caulk the tub, cuz tomorrow night on Collision, Mama’s coming home!

And they’re in the parking lot! Schiavone reviews that last Wednesday on Dynamite, Chuck Taylor said it himself, they were going to settle this in a Parking Lot Brawl! Wight says this kind of match hasn’t been seen since December of 2020! Two teams enter, only one emerges victorious, but both teams might lose something. Schiavone says speaking of that, breaking news: PAC is injured! The Bastard cannot compete, a big blow to Death Triangle. But even without him, the Lucha Brothers want to take on whatever team comes out of this match the winners! That match will happen this Wednesday on Dynamite, what shape will anyone be in after this main event?

Swerve Strickland & AR Fox w/ Prince Nana VS Logan Cruz & Tyshaun Perez!

As if things weren’t personal enough between the Mogul Embassy and Darby Allin, these three (Nana included) had the gall to bust into the Buddy Wayne Academy in Seattle, assault and victimize everyone in there, and damn near threaten Nick Wayne’s life, all to send message to Darby. Will this gifted duo of Cruz & Perez even survive this match?

The teams sort out and Swerve starts against ? Swerve eggs on the fans and soaks up all that heat as he circles with Cruz, but then he says he can take both of them on. Perez steps in, The Gifted pose together, and then Fox springboards to DOUBLE MISSILE DROPKICK! Fans boo but Fox just builds speed to FLY! Direct hit and down go The Gifted! Nana and Fox high five, and Swerve goes up the corner. Fox puts Cruz in, Swerve hits the FALLING UPPERCUT! Swerve sees Perez running in, dodges him, and then Swerve & Fox DOUBLE ELBOW him down! Then they wheelbarrow and ASSISTED POWERBOMB!

Cruz staggers up, Fox & Swerve high-five, but Cruz starts fighting back with forearm sand elbows! Fans fire up as Cruz whips but Swerve blocks! Fox tags in and now Swerve reels Cruz in to put him up top! Fox SHORYUKENS, then ICONOCLASMS, to then drag Cruz through for a CUTTER! Swerve gator rolls to deadlift BRAINBUSTER! Fox is up top again, and he 450 SPLASHES! Cover, the Embassy wins!

House of Black? No, people who aren’t gonna kill them… Oh! The Factor! QT is not amused. Harley has it! Roll the footage, gov’nah! Johnny TV slides in to a meet ‘n’ greet to issue an open challenge to anyone who has been on television! Wait, what? That’s a lot of possibilities. Is Johnny gonna regret this? You guys go around like some Sloppy Joes, trying to represent the championships? Let’s get real! Look at me and Bill, Nana! Over here, just too jacked, too juice, too swole to control!”

The Tower & The Machine! The gargantuan giraffe and the vanilla gorilla! The names can go on and on and on! And after tomorrow night, they add another to the list: the AEW Tag Team Champions! Nana says that we already know The Mogul Embassy is in the money. But after tomorrow night, they’ll be rollin’ in gold! Speaking of that previous match, Claudio & Moxley check all the car trunks. They must be making sure Orange Cassidy isn’t the ace in the hole. Trent & Chuck arrive on foot, letting Mama Sue Beretta take this night off. The bell rings and the fists fly! Moxley already busts out the fork on Trent’s forehead! Chuck knees Claudio low, SMACKS him off a bumper, then throws hands! Moxley knocks Trent down, shows off the fork, and he JAMS Trent right in the face! Chuck SMACKS Claudio off a rear view mirror! Moxley lets off on Trent for just a moment, and we see Trent is bleeding! Moxley then goes back for more!

Fans fire up as Moxley digs the prongs in! Moxley lets off, Claudio wobbles around as Chuck keeps throwing him against the car. Claudio rips the mirror off to SMACK Chuck with it! And then Claudio back suplexes Chuck to the HOOD! Trent hits Moxley back, BOOTS him, then goes up onto a car! Trent LEAPS off the roof to CROSSBODY Moxley down! Wait, Claudio rips the SPOILER off a car! Claudio SMACKS Chuck on the back with it! Trent has the fork and he DIGS into Moxley’s head now! Claudio SMACKS Chuck again, then SMACKS Trent! Trent writhes, and Claudio sits him up to SMACK him again!

Moxley sputters, now bleeding like Trent. Fans rally behind Best Friends but Claudio aims. The Best Friends FLAPJACK Claudio off an SUV! Moxley manages to stand, and Best Friends fire off on him first! Moxley hits them, Chuck SMACKS Moxley with the spoiler! And then he SMACKS Claudio in return! Fans fire up as Best Friends open a car hood! They bring Claudio over, and they SLAM the hood shut! And again! Moxley fires off on Trent and Chuck! Moxley throws knees on Chuck, then goes to Trent. Moxley GUILLOTINE FACELOCKS Trent! Moxley and Claudio put Trent on the engine, to SLAM the hood shut! And again! And again!

Fans are going nuts as Moxley has a crimson mask yet goes after Chuck. He and Claudio POWERBOMB Chuck onto the hood! Trent and the hood get crushed by Chuck! Trent flops down, Mox covers, TWO!! Trent is somehow still in this but Moxley and Claudio keep on him. Moxley goes off somewhere to fetch something, and Claudio SWINGS Trent around! Moxley has a trash bin! Claudio swings Trent into it! Fans now cheer on the BCC as they drag Trent around. But Trent fights back with forearms and CHOPS! But then the BCC fire off forearms! Claudio UPPERCUTS, but Chuck runs in, with a street sign!?

Chuck SMACKS Mox, SMACKS Claudio, then SMACKS Mox again! Another shot for Claudio! Claudio runs in at Chuck, but Chuck back drops him onto a windshield! The glass cracks, and then Chuck SMACKS Moxley! AND USES THE FORK!!! Fans are going nuts as Chuck has the fork in his teeth! Chuck then drags railing over! Another flashback to that first PLF with Proud ‘n’ Powerful as Chuck props the railing against a car! Fans rally, Chuck JAMS Moxley more, but Moxley throws body shots! And HEADBUTTS Chuck! Moxley suplexes Chuck onto the railing! The railing bends and both men are down!

Fans chant “This is Awesome!” and “A E DUB! A E DUB!” as Rampage goes picture in picture!

All four men are down around the lot, Moxley and Trent with growing crimson masks. Moxley sits up, wipes blood from his forehead, and Claudio ROCKS Trent with a right! Claudio SMACKS Trent off a hood, and then smothers him into it! The ref blood leaves a stain on the white paint! Claudio then sits Trent up for HAMMER ‘N’ ANVIL ELBOWS! Chuck stagger sup, Moxley ROCKS him! Moxley then hops up onto a hood, throws hands from above, but Chuck trips Moxley up! Moxley bumps off the hood, and then Chuck SMACKS him off another! But then Claudio SMACKS Chuck off that same hood!

Moxley blinks through the blood in his eye, Claudio SMACKS Chuck with the spoiler! Trent BOOTS Claudio, then SMACKS him with the spoiler! And again! Moxley rolls Trent up, and has a leg! FIGURE FOUR!! Trent endures, Claudio opens some car doors, but Chuck CLOBBERS Moxley with that rearview mirror! Claudio shoves Claudio into a trunk and closes it! Chuck’s trapped in a car! Moxley lets Trent go but Trent throws haymakers! They stagger around towards the fans, but Moxley kicks low! Moxley whips but Trent reverses to send Moxley into the garage door! Trent snarls as he storms up to throw forearms!

Claudio takes more railing away from the fans, and he props it up against those open car doors. Chuck gets outta the SUV and he SMACKS Claudio with the street sign! And again! But then Claudio sends Chuck into that railing bridge contraption he made! Claudio then brings Chuck around, and runs to BULLDOG Chuck off a car hood! Trent CLOBBERS Claudio against that car hood! Fans fire up as Trent fires fists off! Trent follows Claudio up onto the sedan with the railing stuck on it. Moxley returns from the back area, he and Chuck climb onto another car. Chuck CLAWS at the bloody wound on Moxley’s forehead!

Chuck reels Moxley in, AWFUL WAFFLE on the car hood!! Trent brawls with Claudio on the car roof, and Claudio gets the edge with his UPPERCUTS! Rampage returns to single picture as Claudio goes to suplex Trent! Trent fights it, fans fire up as Trent throws hands, and then Chuck passes the street sign up. Trent SMACKS Claudio with it! Claudio falls onto the railing, Chuck SMACKS him with the other street sign! Trent then SENTONS Claudio against the railing!! Both men fall to the floor, fans say “THAT WAS AWESOME!” Chuck closes the car doors, goes up to the roof, but Moxley is right on him! DEATH RIDER onto the car roof!!

Moxley shoves Chuck down, Trent runs in, but Claudio yanks Moxley outta the way! Trent SMACKS off the side of the sedan! Claudio drags Trent up, trophy lifts him, and he MILITARY PRESS SLAMS Trent right onto the roof of a car! Claudio climbs up after Trent, fans rally up, and Claudio is seething! Claudio drags Trent up, crosses the arms and reels Trent in, RICOLA- NO, Trent fights the bomb off! Trent gets under to Alabama Lift! DUDEBUSTER on the car roof!! Claudio falls to the floor, Moxley is there and he hurries after Trent! Fans hope they “FIGHT FOREVER!” but this has to end somehow!

REAR NAKED CHOKE!! Moxley has the sleeper and the body scissors! Trent is fading, sputtering, but he CLAWS Moxley’s eyes! Moxley lets him go, and Trent gets up again. Moxley still brings Trent around for a waistlock, but Trent fights! Trent elbows, switches, but Moxley fights the half nelson. Moxley switches, Trent fights and elbows free! They brawl up on the car roof! Fans duel, Trent roars, and he DECKS Moxley! Moxley stands right up to DECK Trent! Trent flops off the hood and to the floor! Moxley then hurries but Trent is right up! They brawl on the hood and windshield! Fans are loving this as they throw DOUBLE FORERMS!

But then Moxley hits DEATH RIDER onto the windshield!!! Fans are losing their minds all over again as Trent writhes on the glass! Wait, Chuck is syphoning gas from one of these cars?! Why!? Yuta is parodying Cassidy to dare Chuck to do something to him, too! But then Moxley snatches the weapon to SMACK Chuck with it! Yuta JABS away on Chuck with a SCREWDRIVER!!!! The Decoder has truly gone to the dark side with this!

But wait! IT’S SUUUUUUE! She drives in, Cassidy on the roof!! Freshly Squeezed CROSSBODIES Moxley & Claudio down!! Fans are thunderous as Cassidy has a STEEL CHAIN! He wraps his beat up fist, and Yuta dares him to do something! But then Claudio CHOP BLOCKS Cassidy! Cassidy gets mugged 3v1 by the BCC! Fans boo, they wanted violence, not cheating! Claudio SMASHES Cassidy’s knee off the hood! They even scare Sue as they put Cassidy on her car hood! Yuta underhooks Cassidy to DEATH RIDER to the hood!! Sue is terrified as Claudio opens the door. Claudio tells her to get out, and she hurries away.

But then Trent attacks the BCC! But they mug him, and SMACK him against Sue’s SUV! Fans rally up as hard as they can for Best Friends but BCC is pulling out a crowbar, and Claudio RIOPS the door off the SUV! The BCC BUST the glass windows just because they can! Moxley CURB STOMPS Trent on the driver’s door! The BCC puts Trent on the previously broken windshield, and then Moxley CURB STOMPS Trent through it!!! Claudio covers, the BCC wins!

And they keep on massacring the SUV! They smash the window, they slash the tires, and soak up all the heat from the fans! The BCC stand tall tonight, but now they will face the Lucha Brothers next week! Will Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix avenge Pac by tearing down the nastiest team in AEW today?

My Thoughts:

A great Rampage here tonight, and what a wild main event. Great references back to the original Parking Lot Fight, and great moment where Cassidy rides in, but the heroic moment was for naught as the BCC still wins out. I knew Yuta would also get involved, so it almost makes me think this should’ve just been a Six Man Parking Lot Fight. At the same time, a shame that Pac is out of action again. We can only hope and pray it isn’t too serious this time, he only just got back. But I suppose Pac being out, that’s why they had to stick to 2v2 matches, so it’ll just be Penta & Fenix against Moxley & Claudio. Personally, hoping Penta & Fenix win, as I’m not sure what it serves for the BCC to win. Claudio is still ROH World Champion, he needs to focus on that until someone dethrones him.

Really good match to open, and from what commentary said, the reason Keith was with the Hardys was because neither Isiah Kassidy or Ethan Page were medically cleared for this match after how rough that Royal Rampage was. Maybe their issues with Triple J are more or less over for now. The Hardys and the Bucks had a good promo to set up what will be an amazing match on Dynamite, and you can almost consider the winner of that the team to step up to the AEW World Tag Team Champions. Great promo from Bill & Brian with Nana, nice reference from Bill to that post show promo video with MJF, Cole & FTR from after last week’s Collision. But I’m thinking FTR finds a way to win, there is still a lot of mileage for them with the tag titles.

I have no idea who Solo stole that hat from, but this week’s QTV was oddly not as cringe as basically every other episode. Mostly because the self-referential humor was good, like QT nodding to his Ambulance Match with Penta in AAA, and Solo joking about The Factory, their previous faction. Johnny issuing an open challenge to ANYONE who has been on TV, there could be some hilarious options, but I personally think this needs to be Miro. Solo just attacked Miro for no reason that one time, so why not let The Redeemer get his payback through this? But let it just be a one-off, though, feuds with QTV are just nonsensical detours anyhow.

Pretty good match between Anna and Skye, but of course Parker & Menard were yapping the entire time. Anna wins because the JAS needs a little something. Plus, with both champions now Faces with Shida winning on Dynamite, some Heels need to build up so they can face Shida and Kris. And speaking of, Kris had a great, and subtly hilarious, promo with Renee. Kris might’ve been distracting herself a bit with doing squats at the same time, she kinda named more chores than she needed to in her attempt to draw the picture of “Mama’s coming home.” I’m thinking Kris retains, but who knows since we also saw Willow Nightingale get in on this story just last week.

Fox & Swerve have been great already as a duo, and they actually made this squash tag match a lot of fun with just how they keep the combos coming. Personally, I wouldn’t mind seeing these two guys become tag team champions as the year goes on. Let’s say Fox & Swerve beat Darby & Sting. FTR retains against Bill & Brian, then face Hardys/Bucks (probably Bucks). And honestly, it doesn’t matter who wins that, any of those teams facing Swerve & Fox would be awesome. And since Swerve & Fox are building up as top Heels, of course they can cheat to win the tag titles. It protects whoever they’re facing while still getting Fox & Swerve titles like they deserve for how much work they’ve put in and how high quality that work is.

And one thing that I personally liked best tonight was The Kingdom giving that promo. I know, it feels kinda weird to say that as I’ve always found Taven to be the real Melvin in all this. But they peeled back the curtain, blended life with kayfabe because that’s exactly how The Kingdom was as a faction. And while they can’t say it, we know the divide happened when Cole, along with Bobby Fish, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong, accepted WWE’s offer and went to NXT. And now that Cole is back out of the WWE, and this whole story with Roddy and MJF is playing out, The Kingdom is adding their part to it, and this is going to make for some honestly intriguing stuff from here to All In and All Out.
