The Wizard is still in town after what went down on Dynamite with him, Sammy, the Don Callis Family and more. The fans sing Judas for Jericho as he goes to the ring, and he gets the mic. “HEY HEY! HEY HEY!” The fans echo “HEY~!” and he says well alright. Orlando is hot tonight! Welcome to Rampage! They had a huge night on Dynamite, when Sammy QUIT the Don Callis Family, and of course they had to game up on him, so Jericho came out to help. Then Sting & Darby came out to help them. Which leads to the HUGE 8 Man Tag at Worlds End! For the first time ever, Sting and Jericho team up!
The reason: After Jericho and Sting had No Holds Barred with Sammy and Darby, Sting called Jericho and said even though Sting doesn’t like Jericho, he respects Jericho. If Jericho ever needed anything, Sting would be there for him. And Sting is a man of his word, so he had Jericho’s back. Jericho has a lot of respect for Sting, too. But before going to Worlds End, Jericho wants to figure out a few things with Sammy. So if Sammy is here, Jericho wants to talk things out here in the ring tonight. Here comes Sammy! Fans cheer as the Spanish God makes his way to the ring, a mic of his own in hand.
Fans cheer for Sammy and Jericho says they love Sammy here in Orlando! And Jericho’s always been a fan of Sammy’s, a supporter of Sammy’s. A few months ago, they had a great match in Arthur Ashe Stadium. But instead of celebrating it, Sammy turned his back on Jericho to join the Don Callis Family. Jericho wants to ask him man to man, face to face, “Why?” Fans echo “Why? Why? Why?” Sammy tells Jericho that it is hard being in Jericho’s shadow. Jericho is the EIGHT-TIME World Champion. Name any accolade out there, Jericho’s done it all. Fans cheer that.
So maybe somewhere along the way, Sammy blamed Jericho for why Sammy wasn’t where he wanted to be. Sammy felt he needed more, to get more, and Jericho was holding him back, when in reality, Sammy held himself back. Sammy needs to stop blaming others and look inward. It’s time to bust his ass and become the man that he knows he is. They had the baby, Sammy was out with concussion, so he’s just had months to watch, think, and reflect. Now Sammy knows he IS that man that he should’ve been, and the good friend Jericho was to him. So all Sammy can offer is an apology. Fans cheer that!
Fans want these two to “Hug It Out!” Jericho accepts the apology, and wants to say all that back. He is also sorry, and here’s why. Jericho knows sometimes he can be controlling, maybe tried to push Sammy in a certain direction. But he is still Sammy’s fan. He brought Sammy to AEW, into the Inner Circle, into the Jericho Appreciation Society, and why he has Sammy here now. Jericho knows Callis can be a manipulative SOB, that Callis likes to leech off of you guys who doubt themselves. That’s not Sammy. Jericho has always believed in Sammy and he always will.
So Jericho wants to ask Sammy this. They have the 8 Man Tag at Worlds End. But after that, Jericho still has the title shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championships. He needs a partner. So Jericho wants to ask Sammy, will Sammy reunite with Jericho and truly be Le Sex Gods? Fans cheer that! “YES! YES! YES!” Sammy HUGS Jericho! The fans fire up! Le Sex Gods are back, baby! Sammy does his spin and they pose together! Will they get to pose with those tag titles in the New Year? Or will Starks, Morrissey, Hobbs & Takeshita look to end things at Worlds End?
Backstage interview with Daniel Garcia & Matthew Menard.
Renee Paquette is with Red Death & Daddy Magic, and brings up the huge win in the Continental Classic’s last round. We all know it was a bumpy road for Garcia along the way, but- Menard interrupts and says yeah, it was bumpy. But that’s not the whole story, now is it? Biggest win of Daniel Garcia’s career, right? That’s what happened last Saturday on Collision, we can all agree to that. Taking a win away from the House of Black! But Menard isn’t sure what it is about Brody King, “you big dumb bastard,” but King couldn’t stand it! Menard had to watch ringside as his “son” gets blows rained upon him! What is going on!?
Garcia calms Menard, and tells House of Black that he is absolutely sick of people like them coming in and thinking they can just walk all over people like him and Menard. No more. They’re gonna fight back. Maybe not tonight, tomorrow or next week, but they get the lick back, and that’s a promise. When and where will the former JAS tear down the House?

The Runaway doesn’t get why the former QTV correspondent gone completely batty is with The Outcasts, but Saraya promises this will work out for the better. Then will Ruby rebound from her previous losses to head for gold in 2024? Or will she have too much of a Problem on her hands?
The bell rings and the two circle. Fans rally for Ruby as she ties up with marina, but Marina SHOVES her down! Ruby gets up, shakes that off, and goes again. They tie up, Marina powers Ruby to a corner, but the ref counts. Marina lets off, then Ruby comes back for more! Ruby pulls hair, Marina turns it around but Ruby dodges,. Marina dodges, Ruby dodges, and then Ruby throws Marina by her hair! The ref reprimands but Ruby does a very Angelo Parker hair slick and flick. But Marina storms right upon Ruby! Ruby bails out, but then Nyla is there! Ruby rushes back in, but Marina sweeps the legs!
Marina KICKS Ruby in the back, KICKS her in the front, then looms over her. Saraya makes noise, Harley takes a swipe, but Ruby CHOPS Marina on the back! STO! Marina bails out, the ref sees the Outcasts up to no good, and Nyla storms over. Saraya & Harley back off, and Rampage goes picture in picture.
Marina stands up, slides in, but Ruby boots her right to the apron! Ruby stomps Marina to the floor, then goes out to bring her up. Ruby ROCKS Marina, stands on her, and the ref counts. Ruby steps away at 4, Marina rolls into the ring, and Ruby pursues. Marina fires body shots, then SAYANAGIS! Marina then clinches, but Ruby claws Marina’s eyes! The ref reprimands, Ruby throws Marina by her hair again! Ruby scoops Marina, SLAMS her, then pushes her to a cover. TWO, but Ruby keeps her cool. Ruby drags Marina back up, whips her to a corner, then runs up to whip corner to corner hard! Marina staggers and Ruby storms up.
Rampage returns to single picture as Ruby whips again, but Marina comes back to CLOBBER her! Marina KICKS Ruby down, blocks a body shot and has a cording hold. Marina scoops to a BACKBREAKER! Then a SAYANAGI! Marina clamps onto Ruby with a COBRA CLUTCH! Ruby endures, fans rally and duel, but Marina lets off to run and basement dropkick! Cover, TWO! Saraya is on the apron, the ref tells her to get down, but Nyla brings Saraya down! And choke grips! But Harley jumps on, CLUBS away, but Nyla isn’t even bothered! Nyla TOSSES Harley down then chases Saraya into the crowd!
Fans fire up, Marina says bye, Saraya. But Ruby gets her for NO FUTURE! Cover, TWO!! Marina survives and Ruby seethes. Ruby goes to the corner, climbs up, and DIVING- NO, Marina avoids the stomps! Marina knees low, clinches and POWERSLAMS! Then a clinch, SMOTHERING SLEEPER! But Harley gets on the apron now! She eggs Marina on, so Marina DECKS her! But Ruby rolls Marina up! RUBY WINS!

Well what do you know? Saraya recruiting Harley to the cause worked out! Will Harley’s “crazy like a fox” style help Ruby get after some gold?
The Don Callis Family and the Absolute Tag Champions speak.
Don Callis himself stands with “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs, “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita, ROH World Television Champion Kyle Fletcher, and the AEW World Tag Team Champions, Ricky Starks & “Big Bill” Morrissey. Callis tells Jericho, Sammy, Sting & Darby that their world ends AT Worlds End, and he can’t wait! Tell ’em, Takeshita! Takeshita goes off in Japanese that they are all as good as dead against them! Bill adds, “Well said.” Hobbs says just look at this team! Tomorrow night, Jericho’s team finds out why Hobbs is #BigBlack&Jacked. Kyle says hell yeah! On PPV, the Don Callis Family proves they are the top of the food chain! As well as their new friends, of course.
Bill says tomorrow night, in HIS backyard, in front of HIS friends and family, including Uncle Joe, these four whoop all four of Team Jericho’s asses! And Starks says congrats to Jericho, he found three other idiots to take his side. One of them is Sting, who Starks is no stranger to. So this is a promise to The Icon, his retirement gift will be Sting NOT making it to Revolution after this! Callis finishes by saying tomorrow night, it all comes crumbling down at the hands of the Don Callis Family, Bill & Starks. Get ready, Jericho. A war is coming, who will survive?
Backstage interview with Kris Statlander & Willow Nightingale.
Renee is with The Galaxy’s Greatest & The Babe with the Power, as they asked for this time to address Stokely Hathaway spreading rumors. Willow wants to make sure she and Kris are cool given how Stokely is saying Willow’s been taking all the credit for their Street Fight win. If there is one thing Willow cherishes, it is their friendship, partnership, and just Kris in all. Kris is amazing, such a great champion. Willow wants her and Kris, two Long Island natives, to get in on Worlds End. But in comes Stokely and he says that is a great idea.
Quick question, though: What took Willow so long saving her “bestie” on Dynamite? Stokely was sitting out there, it felt like hours! What was Willow doing backstage? Watching reruns of Rugrats? Anyway, how about this? Willow VS Kris, 1v1! Uh, that’s not really what Willow was thinking. But Kris says she likes the idea. Kris also respects Willow as a wrestler and friend, so there’s no one she’d rather have a homecoming moment with than Willow. They shake on it, Stokely smiles, and the match is made for the Zero Hour! Will these two still be friends after having this faceoff?
ROH Pure Championship: Wheeler Yuta VS Matt Sydal!
The Decoder is preparing to challenge Hook for the FTW Championship under FTW Rules, by basically doing the exact opposite…? Pure Rules means limited ropebreaks, limited time and no closed fists, will this be a fitting tune-up to a match with barely any rules at all? Or will the Zen Assassin catch Yuta sleeping this close to Worlds End?
Tonight’s judges are Christopher Daniels, Jimmy Jacobs & Sarah Stock. The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see if/how Yuta bends the rules this time.
The Code of Honor is upheld, the bell rings, and we’re on the clock. Sydal and Yuta circle, feel things out, and tie up. They go around, Sydal waistlocks but Yuta wrenches out to wristlock. Sydal wrenches back, wrangles Yuta, but Yuta kips up to slip around and waistlock. Sydal standing switches it, Yuta reaches back to headlock and has the takeover, but Sydal makes that a cover, ONE! Yuta turns that around on Sydal, ONE! Sydal dodges, tilt-o-whirls and rolls Yuta up, with a bridge! TWO!! Yuta gets away and the fans fire up for this opening minute. The two reset, and Yuta CHOPS! Sydal KICKS Yuta down!
Sydal eggs Yuta on, but Yuta trips him! Stack cover, with the ropes! TWO and Sydal has the rana cradle, TWO! Yuta kicks, Sydal gets under and slips around to ROUNDHOUSE! Leg trip, and STANDING MARIPOSA! Fans fire up, Sydal covers, TWO! Yuta is still in this but Sydal storms up on him. Yuta puts Sydal on ropes to then UPPERCUT the rope, jamming Sydal up! Yuta then BOOTS Sydal down! Sydal staggers up, Yuta reels him in, BIG back suplex! Yuta roars and flexes, fans are torn, and Sydal flounders as we pass two minutes. Sydal goes to a corner, and Yuta CHOPS him! Yuta ROCKS Sydal, then snapmares as Rampage goes picture in picture.
Yuta drops a KNEE right on Sydal’s head! Sydal writhes, Yuta pushes him to a cover, TWO! Sydal hangs tough but Yuta looms over him. Yuta drags Sydal up with a facelock, then has the leg, FISHERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO! Yuta wasn’t perfect, but he holds onto the legs to tie them up. Yuta slaps Sydal around, fishhooks him, but lets off as the ref counts. Yuta then pulls Sydal into the BOW ‘N’ ARROW! Sydal endures, fights free and covers, TWO! Yuta hurries up, and he scoops Sydal to SLAM him! Then he SENTONS! Cover, TWO! Sydal hangs tough, Yuta mocks the fans, then clamps onto Sydal with a cravat.
Sydal endures, fights up, and moves around. Yuta snapmares him down, then drops an elbow! Cover, TWO! Sydal flounders to ropes, but Yuta storms up on him. Yuta drags Sydal up, puts him in a corner, and fires forearms. Yuta whips corner to corner but Rampage goes to break.
Rampage returns as Sydal RANAS Yuta, but Yuta DROPKICKS Sydal! Cover, TWO! We’re past six minutes and Yuta is frustrated. No one used a ropebreak during the break, unusual for Yuta. Yuta scoops Sydal, Sydal slips free, and then Sydal dodges to WHEEL KICK! Fans fire up while both men are down. Yuta rises, Sydal follows, and he KICKS! And KICKS! And KICKS! And then KICKS Yuta down! Then JUMP KICKS! And then JUMP KICKS again! Sydal fires up, the fans are with him, and he fakes Yuta out to QUESTION MARK KICK! Then the scoop to AIR RAID CRASH! Cover, TWO! Yuta survives and Sydal can’t believe it!
Sydal hurries to drag Yuta to a drop zone and fans rally. Sydal goes up a corner, but Yuta rises! Yuta rushes over, Sydal jumps over him, keeps moving, but Yuta BOOTS! Sydal ROUNDHOUSES! Yuta ROCKS, Sydal JUMP SOBATS! Yuta REWINDS, shoots around, GERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO! Yuta grows frustrated as we pass eight minutes, one of the longer matches for Yuta in this format. Sydal takes a swing but Yuta catches him for PAIN THRILLER! Cover, TWO! Yuta hammerlocks and chinbars for the modified crossface! Sydal endures, moves around, and fans rally both ways. ROPEBREAK! Sydal’s first!
Yuta lets go, drags Sydal up, and he headlocks, to sneak a closed fist! The ref didn’t see it, but Sydal KICKS then wheelbarrows! Victory roll, TWO!?? Yuta escapes, then ELBOWS Sydal away! Yuta goes up and up and FLYING ARM-DRAG into the SEATBELT, but Sydal slips free! So Yuta HAMMER ‘N’ ANVIL ELBOWS!! Sydal is a ragdoll, Yuta shifts, SEATBELT! Yuta wins!!

At nine minutes, 33 seconds, with one bending of the rules, Yuta ends this and is rolling into Worlds End! But wait, DANHAUSEN is here! Fans cheer as the Very Nice, Very Evil Overlord walks out with a mic in hand. “Hello. YUTA! YUTA! It is I, Danhausen, here. ROH legend myself as you all know. And I have decided to appoint myself the FOURTH judge. That’s right, you can google it, 2019 through 2021, Yuta, alright? And yes, oh, I noticed you are wrestling my good friend and sometimes tag team partner, Hook, at Worlds End. So I’m going to be keeping a close eyeball on you. And I noticed, you cheated, so therefore, I have to disqualify you. So you’ve lost.”
Yuta DECKS Danhausen! Fans boo but Yuta drags Danhausen up to DDT him back down! Fans boo more but Yuta tells Danhausen to kiss his ass. Then he rains down HAMMER ‘N’ ANVIL ELBOWS! But here comes HOOK! Yuta lets off of Danhausen to be ready for the Cool-Hearted Handsome Devil! Or rather, just bail out with his title. But now, gloves are off and anything goes! Will Yuta survive when there’s nothing to hold Hook back?

After the truly evil genius plot between Samoa Joe and the Devil of AEW, the Samoan Submission Machine said, “You never saw this coming, Max. You’ve been worried about a devil when you really needed to be worried about destiny.” MJF says, “In my entire career, I’ve been the one stabbing people in the back. Never did I think somebody was gonna have the opportunity to stab me in the back first.” Joe says destiny is staring MJF in the face, and it’s coming to beat his ass! MJF says if Joe wants to beat him for the grandest prize of them all, the only way that’s happening is if Hell freezes over, and if the world ends.
Six Man Tag: Orange Cassidy & Roppongi Vice VS Top Flight & Action Andretti!
The last Rampage main event of 2023 is Freshly Squeezed as the AEW International Champion, Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta team up against the Coldest Trio in the Game! Cassidy seems to be itching for fights, will he come to regret giving this one to Dante, Darius & The Sight to See?
The trios sort out and Action starts against Cassidy. The fans rally up at the bell, and Cassidy ties up with Action. Cassidy slips around to waistlock, spin, waistlock, full nelson, snapmare, and then sits with Action to thumbs up. Ghost pin, TWO! Action steps up and over, sunset flips, TWO! Cassidy hurdles, whips, but Action handsprings! Cassidy avoids contact and fans cheer, as the hands go in the pockets! Action is annoyed, he runs up but into a SHOTGUN! Cassidy kips up and fans fire up! Cassidy then runs up to BOOT Action to the corner. Tag to Trent, they double whip Action, then DOUBLE ELBOW!
Trent shakes hands with Cassidy before the elbow drop! Trent stands Action up but Action ROCKS Trent! Trent DECKS Action! Fans fire up as Trent eggs Action on. Action tags Darius in, and Darius circles with Trent. They tie up, Darius headlocks, but Trent powers up and out. Darius RAMS Trent, Trent rebounds to run Darius over! Fans fire up as Trent puts Darius in a corner to CHOP! Darius CHOPS back! Trent CHOPS again! Darius CHOPS again! Repeat! Darius then CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS, runs, but Trent drops, and STANDING METEORA! Fans fire up while Darius writhes, and Trent brings him around.
Trent half nelsons but Darius throws shots. Darius springboards to arm-drag, then he DROPKICKS Trent to the Top Flight corner. Darius runs in, Trent pops him up and over but Dante tags in. Dante slingshots in while Darius CHOPS Trent, then Dante runs up to A-LIST LARIAT! Tag back to Darius, snap suplex and a tag back to Dante, slingshot SENTON! Fans fire up, Rocky runs in but Dante SOBATS him first. Dante whips Rocky, Rocky reverses but Darius gives Dante the boost up and over! Then ASSISTED TORNADO DDT! Rocky bails out, Darius runs up on Cassidy but Cassidy ROCKS him!
Action runs up to HANDSPRING KICK Cassidy down! Best Friends regroup by the ramp, so Top Flight & Action build speed, to TRIPLE DIVE!! Direct hit at the ramp and the fans fire up! The high-flyers all drag Trent up while Rampage goes picture in picture.
Dante storms in to bring Trent up and bump him off buckles. Tag to Action, Dante ELBOWS Trent down, and Action springboards! Trent gets under the 450 so Action rolls through. Trent BUSAIKU KNEES Action inside-out! Cassidy & Rocky BLAST Top Flight off the apron! Rocky then FLYING KNEES Darius down, and Cassidy DIVES onto Dante! RPG Vice coordinate, Trent hangs Action out to dry so Rocky can MISSILE DROPKICK him down! Trent then adds the SLIDING KNEE! Fans fire up with the RPG HIGH-FIVE! Cassidy joins in, and Best Friends HUG! You GOT to give the people what they want!
Rocky storms up on Action in a corner, brings him around and snapmares him for a knee drop! Rocky hears the fans, he brings Action back up, and Rocky UPPERCUTS! Action puts Rocky in a corner, CHOPS him, but Rocky trips Action to stomp the leg! Rocky drags Action back up, brings him over, and ROCKS Action! Rocky tags Cassidy and Cassidy sits Action down for “devastating” stomps. But then Cassidy actually turns it up and stomps a genuine mudhole in! Then he basement dropkicks Action down! Cassidy drags Action up to snap suplex, cover, TWO! Cassidy stays between Action and Top Flight, and brings him back around.
Cassidy bumps Action off buckles, tags Rocky back in and Rocky snapmares to KICK Action in the back. And KNEE him in the back, too. Rocky digs his knee in and has the chinlock. Action endures, Rocky KNEES him in the back again, then goes back for more. Rocky fishhooks into the chinlock, but Action fights up! Action stands as Rampage returns to single picture and he throws body shots, Rocky knees low, CHOPS him, but Action CHOPS back! Rocky ROCKS Action, whips him corner to corner, but Action reverses to ROCK Rocky! Rocky CHOPS, ducks a kick, but not the ENZIGURI! Action hurries to run in, but Rocky puts him outside.
Action blocks a punch, GAMANGIRIS, then springboards to FLYING LARIAT! Fans fire up while both men are down! Action and Rocky crawl, hot tag to Trent! Trent storms up on Action, has a leg, but Action BOOTS him away! Hot tag to Dante! Dante runs in, rallies on Trent, then whips. Trent reverses, runs in, but Dante slips out! Trent hits buckles, Dante goes up and around, GAMANGIRIS, then springboards to CROSSBODY! Cover, TWO! Dante grits his teeth and he drags Trent back up. Trent shoves Dante, Dante elbows back, tag to Darius. Darius hurries to BULLDOG HOTSHOT and GAMANGIRI!
Dante SUPERKICKS, Darius steps in to COMPLETE SHOT! Cover, Cassidy breaks it! Dante kicks Cassidy, but Cassidy sends Dante out! Darius SOBATS then suplexes, into STUN DOG MILLIONAIRE! Action runs in, SHOTGUN GERMAN SUPLEX COMBO! Cassidy flounders out, Rocky returns to spin Darius for SLICED- NO, no bread as Darius slips free, and Dante runs up, half nelson FACEBUSTER! Trent is in a corner, Dante runs up to forearm smash! Darius runs up to clothesline! Tag to Action and Darius hits a BRAINBSUTER on Tret! Action springboards to 450!! Triple cover, CASISDY AND ROCKY BREAK IT!!
The fans are thunderous! Cassidy & Rocky drag Trent back, “This is Awesome!” as Cassidy tags back in. Dante also tags in, and these two step up. The fans rally up, things speed up! Superkick dodged, Orange Punch dodged, Dante SUPERKICKS and hits this time! Rocky runs in, Dante jumps over and blocks a kick. Dante ducks the enziguri but not the REWIND HEEL! Darius ELBOWS Rocky, then uses the corner, TIGER WALL PELE! Trent runs in, but into BOOTS! Darius goes up, but Trent YANKS him down into a SAIDO! Action is back and he BOOTS Trent! Trent bails out, Action aims and PLANCHA feints to then ARABIAN PRESS!
Fans fire up as Rocky DIVES to take Action out! Rocky puts Action in, goes up the corner, but Action kips up to PELE! Rocky wobbles, Action climbs up after him! But Trent is back and he CLUBS Action! Trent climbs up after Action, to waistlock and SUPER GERMAN SUPLEX!! Action flops out of the ring but Dante is back! Trent Alabama Lifts Dante and tucks him in! Rocky takes aim, but Darius GAMANGIRIS Rocky down! SUPERKICK to Trent that makes it a CODE RED for Dante! But the ORANGE PUNCH hits Darius! Dante dodges and O’Conner Rolls, TWO!! SUPERKICK from Orange! Off comes the elbow pad!
Cassidy runs from the corner, ORANGE- SHOTGUN from Dante!! Rocky tags in and he climbs up! Dante staggers up, but he catches Rocky for the half nelson SWINGING SLAM!! Cover, Top Flight wins!!

The Coldest Trio is looking red hot with this rebound on Rampage! They may have lost to The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn, but will they be back for those hot pink belts soon enough?
My Thoughts:
A great Rampage that was technically a go-home to the PPV, but really only one match mattered toward that. Yuta of course retained the Pure Championship against Sydal, but I did appreciate Sydal not being bullied and beat as easily as other opponents. I kinda wish they’d push closer to the 20 minute time limit with these matches, not even Yuta beating Shibata lasted over 10. But good moment of having Danhausen show up to confront Yuta on his cheating, and of Hook saving Danhausen from Yuta. I would think Hook wins the FTW Rules match, and then they turn it around and Hook shows he can beat Yuta in Pure Rules.
A surprising thing about tonight was that we didn’t open with an Orange Cassidy match but instead opened with a lot of promos. Good stuff from Jericho and Sammy, and I suppose they needed to make it clear Le Sex Gods are back together, and are going for the tag titles. Really good group promo from The Don Callis Family plus Starks & Bill. But despite all the confidence from Callis’s team, I would think the Faces win. Le Sex Gods need a return victory that also gives the momentum going into the tag title match, and Sting doesn’t lose on PPV. Or at all. He probably isn’t gonna lose until his retirement match at Revolution, where he puts someone over per the tradition.
Speaking of Cassidy, great main event match there. As I figured, someone other than Cassidy took the loss so that Top Flight & Action can have momentum. Classic Tony Khan backwards booking, this trio is building up momentum after already losing to the champions. They shouldn’t have been the ones to face The Acclaimed in The Acclaimed’s own return match. Caster, Bowens & Billy should’ve whooped up on like Kip Sabian & The Workhorsemen since none of those guys are going anywhere right now. Then we’d build and build and eventually, like some time in February, Top Flight & Action VS Acclaimed & Daddy Ass would be a huge deal for like the Valentine’s Day Dynamite.
Good stuff from the women’s division, though. Good promo of Kris and Willow to set up a 1v1 match, and that should be a lot of fun. With Stokely instigating so much, it feels like someone’s turning on someone, just not sure who. And really good match from Ruby VS Marina with Saraya & Harley running interference. I actually thought we were going to get Harley messing things up for Ruby, but maybe that comes later. Feels like there should be a tag match coming of Outcasts VS Vicious Vixens next then, giving Nyla the opportunity to get her hands on Saraya.

See, there’s a term that I heard a long time ago around here, and it might just apply to the man that I’m staring at in the ring. Tony Schiavone…” The fans cheer Tony on, and Joe says yes, cheer this man!
Cheer Tony on, because he will surely say he had nothing to do with what happened last week. But Joe is finding that very hard to believe. The fans cheer for “TONY S*IT!” a la #CowboyS*it. Schiavone says Joe knows how much respect he has for The Opps, but- “SHUT UP!” The fans boo Joe but Joe says he’ll explain what’s about to happen. “There are consequences for the actions we choose to engage in, Tony. And tonight, my little Georgia peach, consequences have come for you.” The fans boo as The Opps flank the ring. Security rushes out here to stand in the way, but Joe just grins. Joe says this is cute, but Schiavone knows he’s just getting more people hurt.
The fans boo but then HANGMAN PAGE makes his way out here! The Cowboy gets The Opps to back down, but then Joe says this couldn’t have worked out any better. They can take care of two problems at once! The Opps gets back up, but then Hook & Eddie Kingston rush out here! The Mad King even has his crutch! The fans cheer that, and Hangman tells Joe he could forgive Joe for being confused. That man is Tony Schiavone, not Adam Page. The Hangman is right here! The fans cheer that, and Hangman says yeah, Joe’s right, Hangman IS Joe’s problem. So if Joe wants to handle that problem, Hangman will beat that ass in his Wranglers!
The fans cheer, but Hook asks for the mic. Hangman obliges, and Hook says The Opps are still Trios Champions, right? The belts they won without Hook! Well, how ’bout they prove they’re fighting champions and put them on the line after all! The fans fire up for that! Joe says Hook does not talk to Joe that way ever, not a day in his life! Hook wants his shot at the champs?! Then fine! Their Six Man Tag tonight, The Opps will kick your asses for the titles tonight! The fans fire up and things have just escalated! Will Hook & Eddie help Hangman become a Two Belt Cowboy? Or will Joe just choke Hangman out before their fight at Full Gear?

With just a week left to prepare, advantage is up in the air! We begin a Best 2 Out of 3 Match series between Conglomeration and Death Riders! Will Houston be Freshly Squeezed? Or will the Swiss Cyborg strike first blood?
Cassidy doesn’t wait for a bell, he DIVES onto Claudio the moment Claudio’s ringside! The fans fire up, Cassidy keeps going, and another DIVE! Another hit and Claudio is down again! The fans cheer Cassidy as he puts Claudio against railing, then climbs up to rain down fists! The ref reprimands but the fans count along, only for Claudio to stop things at nine! Claudio THROWS Cassidy into the ropes, then SHOVES him into the ring. Cassidy sputters, Claudio takes his shirt off, and Claudio storms into the ring. He drags Cassidy up, but Cassidy bumps Claudio off buckles! And then side to side to bump him off more buckles!
Cassidy goes for a third, but Claudio stops Cassidy halfway! Claudio CHOPS, then he THROWS Cassidy into more ropes! Claudio steps inside while the fans boo, and finally the bell rings. Cassidy BOOTS Claudio, runs, but into a POP-UP- ARM-DRAG from Cassidy! Cassidy kips up while Claudio bails out, and Cassidy DIVES! But Claudio catches Cassidy! Claudio keeps the stalling suplex as he walks around the way, then he GOURD BUSTERS Cassidy onto barriers! The fans boo but Claudio huffs ‘n’ puffs. Claudio drags Cassidy back up for another suplex! The fans boo but Claudio walks up the steel steps with Cassidy!
Claudio THROWS Cassidy into the ring, then shakes out his arms as he steps in. Claudio runs up, Cassidy dodges! Cassidy runs in, but Claudio puts him on the apron. Cassidy RAMS into Claudio, slingshots, but Claudio catches him again! Claudio suplexes, stalls, but Cassidy flails! Cassidy slips around, and he powers his way for a sleeper, only for Claudio to hold it off! The fans rally and Cassidy gets the SLEEPER! Claudio endures, powers up, and he SWINGS Cassidy around! Cassidy holds on and the fans cheer! Claudio fades, drops to his knees, but powers back up! Claudio pries the hold open, bends fingers, and SNAPS them!
The fans boo but Claudio spins into the GIANT SWING! Cassidy goes around and around, Claudio THROWS Cassidy away at seven! Cassidy tumbles out of the ring while Claudio catches his breath, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Claudio tells fans to shove it before he goes out and fetches Cassidy. Claudio pushes Cassidy into sitting down against the barrier, then UPPERCUTS him! Cassidy sputters again while Claudio takes a seat now. The ref reprimands, Claudio drags Cassidy up, and Claudio scoops to SLAM Cassidy on the apron! Claudio shoves Cassidy into the ring, then stalks Cassidy. Claudio stomps Cassidy’s fingers! Cassidy writhes, but then Claudio drags him up by an ear. Cassidy fires body shots, Claudio shoves him away to scoop and BACKBREAKER! Cassidy bails out of the ring and Claudio paces with the ring count.
Cassidy rises up, hobbles forward, but Claudio UPPERCUTS him right into the barriers! Cassidy hobbles into the ring after all, but then Claudio storms in and drops an ELBOW! Cover, TWO! Cassidy writhes, Claudio looms over him, and Claudio drags Cassidy back up. Claudio ROCKS Cassidy with a forearm, then stalks him to a corner. Claudio stands Cassidy up to UPPERCUT him back down, then stalks Cassidy again. Claudio stands Cassidy up for another UPPERCUT, and Dynamite returns to single picture. Cassidy sputters, the fans rally up, but Claudio stands Cassidy up for another UPPERCUT! But Cassidy puts his hands up! And in his pockets!
Claudio deadlift suplexes Cassidy! The fans boo, but Cassidy puts his hands back up! And in his pockets! But then Claudio deadlifts Cassidy for a GUT WRENCH PLEX! Backstage interview with Don Callis, Kyle Fletcher, and Mark Briscoe.
Renee Paquette is with The Jackal, The Protostar, and The Sussex County Chicken. She thanks them for accepting the No Physicality Agreement, and says Briscoe asked for this time. What is on his mind? Briscoe says two weeks ago, he challenged Fletcher for one more match for the TNT Championship. Now he received a response from Don Callis, but he wants a response direct from Fletcher. Fletcher wants to talk but Briscoe says hold on one second, he was not finished. Now, here is Briscoe’s thought process: At WrestleDream, it took a swift kick to the family jewels to secure the victory, and that cannot sit good! That’s not a fulfilling victory! That’s like making out with your sister.
Callis says Briscoe would know. But Briscoe says he is just trying to help Fletcher become a real man. Let’s take the kick to the nuts out, make it all null and void, make it meaningless. Let’s do it at Full Gear, Kyle Fletcher VS Mark Briscoe, TNT Championship, NO DISQUALIFICATIONS! Fletcher says wow. He might actually really like that. Callis says Fletcher likes having fun, and Callis loves making Fletcher happy. There’s something here for Fletcher, but also something for Briscoe, because the TNT title is what he wants, right? The thing is, Papi Callis needs something for himself. Briscoe says he is guessing it’ll be Title VS Career or something like that.
Oh, whoa, no, Callis would never end Briscoe’s career. Callis loves Mark Briscoe, as a wrestler. But he has something much better for both of them in mind. If, or rather when, Briscoe loses to Kyle at Full Gear, Briscoe will JOIN THE DON CALLIS FAMILY, leaving The Conglomeration behind, FOREVER! And just to be clear, this might blow Briscoe’s mind, but let’s make it about Briscoe for once! The hungry mouths back in Delaware that Briscoe’s gotta feed and give all his money to! Briscoe won’t let Callis talk like that but Callis says The Conglomeration is just suckin’ the life outta him! Briscoe says this silver tongued snake is trying to get him to make a deal with the devil!
But y’know what? It is only a deal with the devil of Briscoe loses! And dammit, Briscoe ain’t losing! At Full Gear, it’ll be Callis who has to deal with the devil! You’re on, buddy! Briscoe storms off, and both Callis and Kyle smile ear to ear. Will the Sussex County Chicken finally be the Face of TNT? Or will he end up cooked by the New Jersey Devil?

She says it is official for Full Gear, they will be in the first-ever MILLION DOLLAR TRIOS MATCH! But since The Bucks have agreed to the match, is it safe to assume they are Don Callis Family? Matt says that’s a different subject, but Callis says let’s not put them on the spot. They’re top talent! By the way, how was the Escalade ride from the airport? The care package under the seat? Good, right? Anyway, from what Callis has seen going on with how this company treats this once-in-a-generation tag team like they’re a couple of JOBBERS…!
Callis said, and Alexander can confirm, Callis said if it takes every last penny in his bank account, he will make sure The Bucks get the treatment they deserve. While these teams have to prepare for next week’s historic first-ever Women’s Blood & Guts match, #UltiMone and the Forever ROH Champion want to make history by taking these tag titles. Will the #CEOverlords ride the Money Train all the way to the mountaintop? Or will The Babes of Wrath derail Mone & Athena right from the start?
The teams sort out, but then Mone & Athena just attack! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Mone beats down Harley while Athena drags Willow out of the ring. Athena looms over Willow while Mone stomps Harley, and the bell finally rings to get this on record. Mone runs to METEORA! Then Mone rains down fists! The fans boo but Athena applauds. Mone bumps Harley off buckles, tag to Athena, and they dig their boots in. The ref counts, Mone steps out, but Athena digs her boots in deeper. Tag back to Mone, they mug Harley, and Mone mocks the fans. Mone CHOKES Harley on the ropes!
The fans boo but Mone KNEES Harley back into the ring. Cover, TWO! The fans rally but Mone taunts Harley. Harley crawls, but Mone whips her to the corner. Tag to Athena, Athena ROCKS Harley, and then Athena snapmares Harley. Athena KNEES Harley in the back again and again, then soaks up the heat. Athena pushes Harley over, throws down fists, and argues with the ref about the count. The fans taunt Athena with, “Dallas Sucks! Dallas Sucks!” Athena tags Mone, they mug Harley again, then Mone BLASTS Willow! The fans boo while Mone waistlocks Harley. Harley fights the lift, and fans chant, “Boston Sucks! Boston Sucks!”
Harley switches, ripcords, and ducks a kick to pump handle and BACKDROP PLEX! Then hot tag to Willow! Willo dodges Mone, BLASTS Athena, then LARIATS Mone again and again! The fans fire up, Athena is back, but Willow sends her into Mone! Willow runs corner to corner, DOUBLE SPLASH! Willow whips Mone into Athena, then goes up a corner, DOUBLE MISSILE DROPPKICK! The fans fire up with Willow, she tags Harley back in, and they double whip the CEOverlords. Athena & Mone reverse, but Willow & Harley reverse back, ROUNDHOUSE for Mone and ENZIGIRI for Athena!
The fans fire up as Willow scoops Mone to SIDEWALK SLAM! Then she and Harley hip bump, and Harley runs to wheelbarrow, ASSISTED SPLASH on Mone! Cover, Athena SENTONS it apart! The AEW Women’s World Champion just made sure justice was served, and now the CEOverlords are OUT of the tournament! Willow & Harley are all fired up, will they soon be the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions? Or will they run afoul of those Sisters of Sin, Julia Hary & Skye Blue?

Schiavone says that as they were trying to say to start the show, before he was so rudely interrupted, that AEW is raising the stakes on Full Gear, Saturday, November 22nd. There will be a Casino Gauntlet Match, with the winner being the INAUGURAL AEW National Champion! This title carries the lineage of the original National Championship and will return to TBS for the first time in almost 40 YEARS. As you can imagine, wrestlers have been lining up to sign up for said Casino Gauntlet. We bring out two of the entrants, it is Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin of the Hurt Syndicate!

The bell rings and the two circle. Garcia avoids the attempts at the legs, and the two feel out a knuckle lock. Darby avoids a shoot-in this time, then they tie up. Garcia waistlocks, and he SLAMS Darby! Garcia floats all over Darby and slaps him around before the waistlock. Darby fights up, pries the hold open, and he waistlocks. Garcia powers Darby back, pries the hold open, but Darby rolls to avoid the switch. Darby headlocks, Garcia powers up but can’t power out as Darby holds on. Darby hits the takeover, has the cover, ONE! Garcia pushes forearms into Darby’s face, Darby pushes him down for another cover, TWO!

Garcia drags Darby around by a leg, and DDTS the foot into the floor! Then Garcia puts Darby in the ring, stalks him, and Darby hobbles to a corner. The ref reprimands as Darby is stuck in the corner! Garcia then runs up to BOOT Darby down! And stomp him! Darby is being choked like a man in a noose, but the stomps actually break the tag rope! The ref reprimands and backs Garcia off while Darby is down in a heap. Garcia just soaks up heat as he storms back over to Darby.
Garcia looms over Darby as he crawls, then drags him up to put back in the corner. Garcia climbs up, he rains down fists, then stops at nine to again taunt fans with the dukes up. Garcia lets Darby fall in a heap while he soaks up more heat. Darby sputters, but Garcia hooks up the legs. Garcia lets Darby flail before he grabs the arms. Up, up, and away into the ROMERO SPECIAL! Darby endures and Dynamite returns to single picture, then Garcia BOOTS Darby into the buckles! The fans boo and Darby sputters again but Garcia just rises up. Darby is on the apron, Garcia storms up, but Darby RAMS into him! Darby slingshots to sunset flip, but Garcia rolls through!

Both men stand, Garcia slips around, SLEEPER! Darby RAMS Garcia into a corner, but Garcia uses that for a HANGING SLEEPER! Darby sputters and the ref counts, Garcia drops Darby at 4. Garcia then hops down to bring Darby back up.

Darby hits ropes, then apron, then floor! Garcia storms out after Darby, he drags Darby around the way by his arm, and then looks at the desk. But then Garcia pushes the steel steps aside, puts Darby in place, and then puts the steps back where they were!
Garcia lines up a shot, even as the fans freak out, and he DROPKICKS the steps into Darby!! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Garcia shows no mercy. Garcia grabs at Darby but the ref has him back off. Garcia says count Darby out then! Garcia waits in the ring and the count begins. The fans rally up harder and harder but Darby is still down at 5 of 10. Garcia wants after Darby again but the ref has him back off. Darby manages to stand, busted open as he is, but PAC ATTACKS! The Bastard knocks Darby down, then he hides in the shadows! Darby is back down as the ring count restarts, but he’s still down at the new 5 of 10.
Darby sputters at 6, reaches out at 7, but is still down at 8! Darby springs to life at 9! He lunges in at 9.9!! But then he falls right back over! Darby takes swings but Garcia dodges them with ease. Garcia waits on Darby, Darby grabs at Garcia, but then Garcia grabs Darby to CHOP, CHOP, CHOP! Darby falls back down, Garcia gets the legs, and he steps through for the “WOO~” and DRAGON TAMER! Garcia mocks The Icon, Sting, while he tortures Darby! But Darby still has fight in him! Darby crawls, reaches out, but Garcia puts on more pressure! Then he drags Darby away! But Darby rolls, and he kicks, kicks, and rolls through, to have the SCORPION DEATH LOCK!!

Claudio hits a GOTCH NEUTRALIZER on Darby! Then Kyle is put back in the ring! Kyle snarls but Moxley taunts him. But a STRONG KNEE hits Moxley! FTR take to the mics, and Cash starts by saying, “Last week on Dynamite, we won a Four Way match to become #1 Contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Championships! You would think we’d be over the moon about this, but the reality is that we should’ve been three-time champions at Forbidden Door in London!” The fans boo, Cash asks if they’re done, because he’s not. “We should’ve been three-time champions in London, but Brodido took that away from us. So now we got a bone to pick with Brodido, but we wanna do it to your faces!
“So please, Brodido, get out here and let us do this men to men, face to face.” The fans cheer as the music hits, but where are Brody King & Bandido? Oh, wait, Stokely IS here, and he’s locked Brodido in their room! Renee asks what is going on! Stokely, let them out! Stokely claims he doesn’t know what happened! He’s been trying to get the door open all night! Brodido~! Brodido~! Hey, have you watched The Wire? Great show. Stokely goes back to his phone and FTR feigns ignorance and concern. They were “really looking forward to having Brodido out here for a gentlemen’s handshake” before Full Gear. Aw, darn.

Dax says it is so admirable and heartwarming how much of a star her grandson, Bandido, has become. Can she please explain to everyone just how proud she is? Mucho much- Because if Dax has to guess, he would say she is probably pretty damn embarrassed to call Bandido “and this idiot,” Gravity, her grandbabies.

Samoa Joe thought he, Hobbs & Shibata could bully Schiavone for his part to play last week, but that only angered The Cowboy, The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil & The Mad King more. The Opps got goaded into putting up the titles, will they regret it? Or will this be the perfect trap game for the AEW World Champion?
The introductions are made, the trios titles are raised, and we see who is truly #NeverLacking!
The trios sort out, Joe starts against Hangman for a Full Gear teaser, and the two circle. The fans rally up, but then Joe tags out to Shibata. Joe smirks, then drags Eddie back up. Eddie fires body shots in return! Then CHOPS! And CHOPS! Joe HEADBUTTS Eddie down! Joe drags Eddie back up, whips him to a corner, and ELBOWS to PELE! Eddie sits down, the medics check Hook, and Joe tags Shibata. Shibata storms up to Eddie to CHOP! And CHOP! And CHOP!

Shibata runs corner to corner to, more or less, hit SHATTERED DREAMS! Shibata plays dumb like he doesn’t know what happened, and then he sneaks some mule kicks on Eddie. The ref is busy with all the different protesting voices, but Shibata drags Eddie up to snapmare. Shibata scrapes his soles off Eddie’s face!

Hook is still in bad shape while Joe clamps onto Eddie with shoulder claws! The fans rally as Eddie endures, and Eddie fights up to fire body shots. Eddie runs but Joe ELBOWS him down! The fans boo but Joe just smirks. Joe goes back to Eddie, sits him up, and he Mongolian Chops Eddie again and again!

Hangman down in wreckage, Eddie with his bad leg, but it’s Hook who may have taken the worst of it. The Opps are #NeverLacking, but will they soon add the AEW World Championship to the collection? Or can The Cowboy still kick it into Full Gear?
My Thoughts:
A great Dynamite as a sort of “go home, part one.” Sadly, a lot of predictable moves with this Blood & Guts advantage stuff, having to split them up between both Dynamite and Collision. Claudio beating Cassidy of course dictated Darby would beat Garcia, and now we are of course getting Moxley VS Roddy to decide it all. I feel like Death Riders are definitely getting advantage for Blood & Guts, but that’s because Darby & Conglomeration should win and move on from Death Riders. Though, they might end up feuding with Don Callis Family more given Callis put that bet on the TNT Championship match.
I can’t see Briscoe joining DCF, but now it feels like they’re giving away that Briscoe wins the TNT title off Fletcher. It’s a really interesting move but I guess this is meant to end the title feud. At the same time, hard to say if The Bucks are joining DCF or not. Between how much Callis is putting into persuading them, Okada putting that implied time limit, and then Jack Perry literally stabbing a $100 bill, The Bucks are certainly torn between two sides. I would think their decision of being DCF or not DCF will be the pivotal point in the Million Dollar Trios match at Full Gear, also impacting the outcome of the match.
The Women’s Division is in a slightly better position with only having the one advantage match tonight, but ironically it’s because of the weird scheduling Tony Khan has put them in. We got a great tag title tournament match from Mone & Athena VS Willow & Harley, and I’m actually a bit surprised Willow & Harley won. But at the same time, Mone has the world title for Full Gear, and that double header story I was sensing is now null and void. But Blood & Guts is still a detour the whole division is taking, and I still worry something could go wrong. Mina VS Megan was a last minute change because Aminata wasn’t cleared, but it still ended up a great match. Very good brawl after to have the teams together on screen, and now fans have a reason to watch Collision.
FTR had a good promo segment this time, because they didn’t go on and on with it like other times. They quickly got to the reveal of Brodido stuck in their room, and to insulting Bandido’s family, and then it was just hilarious seeing Stokely scared out of his mind with Brody punching through the door. Great heat on the tag match now, I wonder if Gravity gets back in the ring to help with the rest of the build. But with that, please let it be some other time, not this Saturday. FTR already did the best thing this week, they can take a Collision off for the sake of other stories building towards Full Gear.
Great stuff with The Opps and Hangman tonight, especially that opening promo. I feel like they upped the ante of the main event to give good reason why Opps win. Good sell on Hook with the back, and wow Hobbs putting Hangman through the table from off the stage, Hobbs should be challenging at Full Gear. I still wonder if my “Hook is a mole” theory holds, where Hook was (in story) exaggerating the pain. But at the same time, what’s the pay off? Is Hangman actually going to lose at Full Gear? And either way, is Hook going to fight Joe 1v1 or rejoin The Opps by turning on Eddie?
Last but not least, the news of AEW establishing their own National Championship. Doesn’t that belt belong to the current NWA these days? Mike Mondo won it at the NWA 77th Anniversary Show back in August. Is this a sign NWA joins the alliance AEW has with ROH, CMLL & NJPW/Stardom? I do like that this title will be up for grabs in a Casino Gauntlet, that’s a fun way of doing it rather than worrying about yet another tournament or just a generic battle royal. Good promo from Hurt Syndicate with Ricochet, but is this foreshadowing Ricochet winning? It doesn’t feel like Hurt Syndicate is winning, Lashley and Shelton might end up in each other’s way rather than helping, and The Demand is all about helping Ricochet. I just wonder what the belt will look like.

Dysfunction abounds to open the show, and while The Alpha and Rainmaker can’t stand each other, neither can Platinum Max and the 5 Tool Player! But whose pride will come before their fall here on the Day of the Dead?
Callis of course joins commentary for this, he wants to see his guys succeed with his own eyes. The teams sort out, and Konosuke starts against Bowens. The fans rally as the two circle, tie up, and Konosuke wrenches to wristlock. Bowens slips through, wrenches, hammerlocks, then spins Konosuke to snapmare! “I’m the Pride of Professional Wrestling!” The fans are torn, Bowens shouts, “What you think about that, Takeshita?” Konosuke CHOPS Bowens! The fans fire up as the CHOPS go back and forth! Konosuke then kicks low, whips, but Bowens reverses. TAKESHITA LINE hits Bowens down!
The fans fire up and Konosuke taunts Okada about it. But Bowens kicks low! Bowens CHOPS, but Konosuke CLAWS Bowens’ eyes. The ref reprimands but Konosuke whips. Bowens hurdles Konosuke, then slips around, FLOATING DDT! Bowens soaks up cheers and jeers, but then Caster tags himself in. Bowens is annoyed but Edinburg joins in with, “Let’s Go, Max, You’re The Best Wrestler Alive!” Caster brings Konosuke up, but Konosuke BODY BLOWS! Caster kicks low, taunts Konosuke, then runs, but Okada gets a cheap shot in! The ref reprimands, but Konosuke runs up, only for Caster to dodge! Konosuke avoids hitting Okada!
Okada and Konosuke stare down, but then Caster SHOVES Konosuke into Okada! Bowens helps and they DOUBLE LARIAT Konosuke out, and he tumbles into Okada! Callis brushes it off, that wasn’t on his guys. But then Bowens goes up, up, and Caster PLANCHAS Okada & Konosuke down first! Bowens is upset but “Let’s Go, Max, You’re The Best Wrestler Alive!” Bowens hops down and tells Caster to back off. Bowens goes back for Okada, Caster takes the long way back to Konosuke, but then Konosuke and Okada kick them first! DOUBLE DDTS to the floor! Konosuke and Okada then stare down, Caster thinks they might need therapy…
The fans fire up, Callis tells them both in Japanese to calm down, and even tries “Tranquilo.” Konosuke puts Caster in, ROCKS him, then stalks him to the corner. Konosuke ROCKS Caster again, but Okada tags in! The fans are torn and Konosuke is annoyed, but Okada brings Caster around. Okada scoops and SLAMS Caster, and Konosuke doesn’t like the fans cheering Okada on. Okada goes up, MACHO ELBOW! And then he winds it up, Rainmaker MIDDLE FINGER for Konosuke! Callis says that’s just friendly ribbing. But Caster rolls Okada! TWO, and Konosuke winds up, only for Okada to CLUB Caster down!
Okada calls Konosuke in, Konosuke obliges, and they double whip Caster corner to corner. Okada runs in and ELBOWS! But then he moves Caster aside as Konosuke runs in! Konosuke is denied his part, and Okada Alabama Lifts for the REVERSE NECKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Okada stays cool, Callis says Okada has ice in his veins. Konosuke storms up but Okada tells Konosuke to back off, it’s one and one. But they argue too much and Bowens tags in! Bowens SHOTGUNS Konosuke into Okada! Bowens fires off hammer fists, then he gives Okada some Rock, Paper, Scissors, SUPERKICK! Konosuke is up, but he gets a kick!
Bowens runs, but has to turn the lariat into a wrench and arm-trap NECKBREAKER! Okada is up to BOOT Bowens! Okada runs, Bowens follows, but Okada FLAPJACKS! The fans fire up while Collision goes picture in picture.
Okada paces while Bowens sputters, and he stalks Bowens to the ropes. Okada ROCKS Bowens, puts him in the corner, then mockingly calls to Konosuke. Konosuke doesn’t hurry as Okada DECKS Bowens. Okada then leaves Konosuke hanging on the tag so he can DECK Bowens! Okada then tags Konosuke, and Konosuke ROCKS Bowens. Konosuke wrenches and whips corner to corner hard! Bowens falls, Konosuke glares at Caster, and Caster backs off. Konosuke drags Bowens up to snapmare, then he tags Okada in. Okada slingshots to SENTON! Okada kicks Bowens to the ropes to then scrape him out of the ring.
Okada distracts the ref so Konosuke can ROCK Bowens! Caster even joins in! The Jackal hurt his hand hitting Bowens but Konosuke puts Bowens in the ring. Okada covers, TWO! Okada paces around Bowens, stalks him to the ropes, and brings him around as Collision returns to single picture. Bowens fires fast hands, then BOOTS Okada! Konosuke tags in, he keeps Bowens from Caster, BIG back suplex! Bot Bowens lands out! Caster tags in, goes up, and CROSSBODIES! Then a LARIAT! Caster dodges Konosuke and hits a BIG atomic drop! Then RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! The fans rally up, “Let’s Go, Max, You’re The Best Wrestler Alive!”
Caster drags Konosuke up to fireman’s carry, but Konosuke slips free! Mule kick, then a run, but into a fireman’s carry! ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT! Cover, TWO! The fans still join in with “Let’s Go, Max, You’re The Best Wrestler Alive!” Caster tells Bowens to help out. Caster tags Bowens, then tells him to get in. Bowens is upset, but Caster suplexes Konosuke. But Konosuke kicks free of whatever Caster wanted! Konosuke suplexes Caster for an OSAKA STREET CUTTER! But Bowens runs to SHINING WIZARD! Cover, Okada breaks it! Okada then drags Konosuke to safety and tags himself in. But Bowens mule kicks!
Bowens waistlocks, ripcords, and NECKBREAKER DROPS Okada! Bowens fires up, the fans are torn, and Bowens goes to a corner. Bowens climbs the corner, but Okada ROCKS him first! Okada climbs up, brings Bowens to the very top, and then Konosuke gets under Okada?! TOWER OF DOOM! The fans fire up, Caster runs in, but Konosuke DUMPS Caster out! Konosuke goes out to get Caster and whip him into the barriers! Konosuke plays like he’s tired, leaving this to Okada in the ring. Bowens and Okada rise up, the fans rally, and Bowens ROCKS Okada! And then again! And again! Bowens fires a flurry, then whips.
“This is Awesome!” as Okada reverses, but Bowens avoids the dropkick! Bowens wrenches and torture racks, for the RACK DROP! Cover, TWO!! Okada survives and the fans rally up again! Bowens snarls and pounds the mat. Okada rises, Bowens winds up, MOLLY- NO, Okada ducks! Konosuke is there to BLUE THUNDER BOMB! Then the- NO, Okada takes Bowens from Konosuke! Ripcord, but Bowens ducks, and so does Konosuke! Konosuke avoids the lariat, shoves Okada, but Bowens hits a FAMOUSER on Okada! Mule kick on Okada, but then Okada DROPKICKS back! Okada ripcords, Caster tags in! THE ARRIVAL!!
Caster is up top, but Bowens doesn’t realize he’s the legal man! Bowens is furious, and he refuses ot move aside! Caster hops down, the two start shoving, and the fans are torn! But then they start throwing hands! Bowens shoves Caster to MOLLY WHOP him!! SUPERKICK on Okada! Konosuke tags in! Okada ripcords Bowens for the RAINMAKER! And then RAINMA- NO, Konosuke shoves Okada so he can ALPHA ELBOW Caster! Then RAGING FIRE!! Cover, Konosuke & Okada win!

The bell rings and the fans rally up. Olympia flexes and the fans cheer. Mone flexes and the fans boo. The two tie up, and Olympia pushes Mone back. Mone shoves Olympia but Olympia stands her ground. Mone SLAPS Olympia, whips, but Olympia reverses. Mone goes up, RAN- NO! Olympia brings Mone up, but Mone RANAS to a cover, TWO! Olympia has the sunset flip, TWO! They both stand, Olympia trips Mone, jackknife bridge, TWO! The fans cheer the standoff, but Mone is upset already. Mone and Olympia tie up, Mone THROWS Olympia by her hair and/or mask! The ref reprimands, the fans boo, but Mone does her CEO dance.
Mone runs, but Olympia hurdles. Mone shoves Olympia, dodges her, but Olympia still comes back to CLOBBER Mone! The fans fire up and Olympia runs up on the corner! Headstand and SWINGING BRONCO BUSTER! Olympia does the CEO dance, then flexes. Olympia fireman’s carries and does some squats using Mone! The fans cheer but Mone slips free. Olympia runs up again but into a BOOT! Mone goes up, up, but Olympia military presses her first! And with one hand! Then she DROPS Mone down! The fans fire up with Olympia and Kris loves it, too! Olympia goes out to the apron, drags Mone up the corner, but Mone fights the suplex!
Mone hops down, CLAWS eyes, then puts Olympia through the corner! Mone KNEES away on Olympia, then DOUBLE KNEES her down! The fans boo but Mone smiles as she pursues. METEORA from apron to floor! The fans are torn but Mone smirks at Kris. Kris says focus on the match, Mone. Mone goes back to Olympia while Collision goes picture in picture.
Mone drags Olympia up to put her in the ring, then covers, TWO! Mone is annoyed but she drags Olympia back up to bump off buckles. Mone digs her boot in, the ref counts, but Mone sits Olympia down. Mone goes corner to corner and back again, METEORA! Cover, TWO! Mone is annoyed but she cools off. Mone drags Olympia up, reels her in, and snap suplexes! Cover, TWO! Mone clamps onto Olympia’s arm, grinds her down, and has the double chicken wing. Olympia endures, fights up, but Mone THROWS her down by her hair/mask again! Mone then flexes on a cocky cover, TWO! Mone mocks Olympia with a side chest pose before the ELBOW DROP! Cover, TWO!
Mone is frustrated, but cools off quickly, before she clamps on with a chinlock. Olympia endures while Collision goes to break.
Collision returns and Olympia catches Mone out of the sky! Then SWINGING SIDE SLAM! Cover, TWO! Mone survives and Olympia is stunned! Olympia fires forearms on Mone, then whips. Mone reverses, but Olympia SHOTGUNS her down! Olympia then runs to fake the dropkick at the ropes, to skin the cat and BRONCO BUSTER! Olympia then digs her boots in! The ref counts, Olympia backs off, and then she hauls Mone up. Olympia suplexes, but Mone cradle counters, ONE!! Mone hooks a leg to cover again, TWO! Mone ELBOWS Olympia, Gory Especial, but Olympia arm-drags free!
Mone tumbles to ropes, Olympia runs up, Tiger Feint and roll-up! TWO, DEADLIFT and POWERBOMB! Cover, TWO!! Mone survives and Olympia grows frustrated, but the fans rally behind her. Olympia rises, brings Mone up, but Mone JAWBREAKERS! Mone then blocks a kick to KNEE Olympia! Mone runs up, but Olympia counters the monkey flip, only for Mone to TORNADO DDT! Cover, TWO! The fans rally as Olympia survives, and even Kris points out the panic in Mone’s eyes. But Kris also admits, Mone works best under pressure. Mone drags Olympia up, talks trash, then runs, tilt-o-whirl, but Olympia blocks!
Olympia suplexes Mone back up, holds her up, but Mone fights free! Mone wrenches to ARM CODE BREAKER, then STATEMENT MAKER!! Maybe even a YES LOCK! Olympia fights around, Mone shifts side, but Olympia rolls her, TWO! Mone shifts again, stacks Olympia, TWO!! Olympia escapes with nanoseconds to spare, and she firemam’s carries! She does more squats, and then THROWS Mone down!! Cover, TWO!! Mone survives and Olympia shakes her head. The fans are thunderous but Mone bails out. Olympia goes out after Mone, “This is Awesome!” as Olympia fireman’s carries again! But Mone fights free!
Mone THROWS Olympia into Kris! The fans boo but Mone hurries to put Olympia in the ring. Kris stands up and scares Mone! The fans tell Mone she messed up, but then Olympia DRAGS Mone up by her hair! And THROWS her in at that! Mone runs, ducks ‘n’ dodges, LA MYSTICA! STATEMENT MAKER!! Olympia flails, but then she TAPS! Mone wins!

Because he just left a meeting with Tony Khan, and now at Full Gear, it will be the first-ever MILLION DOLLAR TAG MATCH! Now, The Bucks have had their problems with Jurassic Express, just as the Callis Family has had their problems with a certain someone…
So here’s the deal: The Bucks team up with The Walking Weapon, Josh Alexander, against Jurassic Express and… That piece of excrement, Kenny Omega! Then Callis will make The Bucks rich one more time. What do they say? They like to be rich, right? They’ll be great! Callis heads out, and Matt says there you have it. The Bucks have been roped into quite the high stakes Six Man Tag, but can they make their fortune back? Or are they not quite ready to sell out to The Jackal?

Sammy stomps Komander down, stomps him again, then paces more. Sammy stands on Komander’s fingers! Sammy then brings Komander around, tags Mortos, and they mug Komander. Mortos snapmares Komander, RIPS at the mask again, but the ref reprimands more. Mortos stops, but then tries to take the mask off! The ref counts, Mortos stops, and Komander’s identity is safe. Mortos then BLASTS Briscoe & Roddy! Mortos covers Komander, TWO!
Mortos drags Komander into a chinlock and he grinds the hold. Mortos then wrenches Komander’s arm, tags Dralistico, and they mug Komander. Komander goes to a corner, Dralistico snapmares him down, and now Dralistico tears at the mask! The ref reprimands, Dralistico stops, and Dralistico taunts the fans. Dralistico tags Sammy, Sammy drags Komander from the corner and stomps him down. Sammy scoops and SLAMS, then he goes up the corner. Sammy taunts everyone before he SHOOTING hops down and stomps! Sammy tells Edinburg to “SUCK IT!” then he RAMS Komander to the corner.

The Most Wanted and The King of the Ropes battled in Arena Mexico over the summer, and as you can see, Bandido came out on top still the ROH World Champion. But now Bandido has invited Dorada into his home of AEW, and this Day of the Dead celebration will have quite the treat! But will The Outlaw stay a doble campeón in Edinburg? Or will Dorada truly be golden?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who shines brighter than the stars on this Fright Night!
The Code of Honor is upheld and the fans cheer that. The bell rings and the two circle. “LUCHA! LUCHA!” echoes out and the two tie up. They go around, Bandido waistlocks, but Dorada wrenches out. Bandido wrenches in return, but Dorada rolls, handsprings, and wrenches to wristlock. Bandido endures, Dorada shifts to a standing armlock, but Bandido rolls, rolls, and wrenches to then half nelson and spin Dorada. Bandido slips around back suplex, Dorada lands out, but Bandido wrenches again! Dorada uses the ropes to flip through, then he wrenches back. Dorada hooks Bandido up, OCTOPUS! The fans rally as Dorada goes back to Bandido, but the ref has to check first. The bad arm is still a concern, and the ringside medic is called over. Dorada is frustrated, he wants to win but not if it means Bandido got hurt. The medic checks Bandido’s arm, and Bandido seems to signal he doesn’t want this match to end because of an injury either. The medic understands, and he helps Bandido to his feet. The fans applaud, but is the arm okay to continue? Bandido walks off the bad landing, gets in the ring, even with the bad arm hanging down, and Dorada stomps away! Dorada snapmares Bandido, then SUPERKICKS him down! Cover, TWO!
Dorada is further frustrated but Bandido is still in this Fright Night fight, and Collision goes to break.
Collision returns as the fans rally and Dorada drags Bandido up. Dorada goes for the bad arm but Bandido pushes free. Dorada kicks him low in the corner, KNEES him, then whips to the ropes. Dorada UPPERCUTS Bandido down, then covers, TWO! Bandido toughs it out and the fans rally up but Dorada grows frustrated. Dorada hears the fans and he lets Bandido get up. Dorada wants Bandido to show that machismo and Bandido nods respect. Then Bandido CHOPS! Dorada CHOPS! The CHOPS go back and forth and the fans “WOO~!” Dorada whips, runs in, but Bandido BOOTS him! Bandido then UPPERCUTS and goes up, TORNILLO!

My Thoughts:
A great Fright Night for Collision, though there were some pretty obvious outcomes. MXM TV dressed up as MXM TV was clever, but good win for Bang Bang Gang off them. And I guess with Penelope Ford out with injury, they even decided to change plans for Nixon Newell & Miranda Alize facing TayJay to them getting squashed by Megan & Marina. Very good promo from Willow & Harley to call out Mone & Athena, and great match from Mone VS Olympia. Mone winning with the submission was a bit more definitive than her other matches, but of course she retained. Again, she probably doesn’t start losing belt after belt until after Full Gear.
The big news for the Women’s Division is that not only are they getting their first Blood & Guts, but they’re having the biggest Blood & Guts at 6v6. And with no TayJay in Blood & Guts, makes me wonder if they had to back out of tonight’s squash match from some injury concern. Hopefully they can still be part of the tournament, it would be a shame if one of the longest-running duos in this whole bracket is going to miss out. But that Blood & Guts match can also serve to build the Kris VS Mone match with it being just 10 days before Full Gear. Hopefully no one gets hurt in Blood & Guts, that’d really mess up plans.
Great tag match to open tonight, Okada and Takeshita continue to have dysfunction, but they were able to get past theirs compared to Caster and Bowens. This has to explode at some point, and I can’t wait. Very good backstage promo from Callis with The Young Bucks, that “Million Dollar” Trios match is going to be awesome stuff, but I would think Kenny & Jurassic Express win, furthering the potential of a Young Bucks Face turn because they realize the value of friendship. Great Six Man Tag from Roddy, Briscoe & Komander VS LFI, great win for Conglomeration, but a little surprising Death Riders didn’t try to jump them to get the edge going into Blood & Guts.
Good promo from Eddie & Hook, and Hook is certainly on his own hero’s journey to learn what it takes to be the top champion in AEW. Though the “reporter” asking Hook about that quick tap makes me wonder if there’s the possibility Hook “threw the match” for Joe, like he’s a double agent who is still on The Opps’ side. That’d be even worse than turning The Opps into Heels in the first place, actually. Either way, Hook and Joe aren’t done, we’ll see them meet up again somehow, someway.
And AWESOME, just insane main event from Bandido VS Dorada. That easily could’ve been a PPV match, but it definitely made its mark as one of Collision’s best matches, maybe even all of AEW TV. I was certainly worried Bandido’s bad arm finally took too much damage, but he toughed it out to end the match, perhaps just selling the damage done back against Hechicero. At the same time, something’s gotta give with him as double champion. Either the tag titles are going to FTR at Full Gear, or that ROH World Championship goes to… Well, Blake Christian wants his shot, but not sure he’s the guy to take down this powerful of an opponent.
