Speaking of, the Workhorsemen attack first! Henry DECKS Darby at ringside, and then JD sneaks up with a chair to SMACK Sting! Fans boo and the ref reprimands, but Sting stays on his feet! Sting PUNCHES the chair into JD, then Flair CHOPS! Sting LARIATS JD down, and Darby whips Henry into railing! Sting whips JD into railing, too! Darby goes up the apron but Henry SWEEPS the legs! STING SPLASH for JD against the railing! But Henry CHOP BLOCKS Sting! Sting hobbles, but Henry RAMS him into railing! Fans boo but Henry lines up a shot, and he CALF KICKS Darby against railing!
Henry feeds Darby to JD to pop-up and DECK him! The Workhorsemen put Darby in, the ref has them back off to check on Darby. Henry eggs Darby on, Darby says he wants to fight, so the bell rings! Darby fires hands on Henry, runs, but Henry sweeps the leg! Henry drags Darby up, whips him to the corner, and clotheslines! JD tags in as Henry scoops Darby, for a POWERSLAM! JD DIVING HEADBUTTS! Henry keeps Darby from Sting, tags in JD, and JD CHOPS! JD mocks Flair’s “WOO~!” then he drags Darby up. Fans rally for Sting but JD whips Darby. Darby BLASTS Henry, then dodges JD! Darby crawls but JD runs up to DECK Sting! Fans boo but JD shoves Darby, clinches, and BELLY2BELLY SUPLEXES! JD goes up a corner, to SCRAP SAULT FLOP! Sting tags in and Darby hits a CODE RED! JD ends up in a corner, for the STINGER SPLASH! Henry storms in as JD flops over, but Sting rallies on him! Sting clotheslines Henry against ropes, whips him out of the ring, and Darby is up top! The introductions are made, the AEW Continental Crown is raised, and we see who is wearing it after this Collision!
The bell rings and the fans rally up for Eddie. Eddie and Trent feel things out, tie up, and are in a deadlock. They break, circle, and fans continue to rally up. Trent and Eddie tie up again, Trent powers Eddie to ropes, Eddie puts Trent in a corner, but Trent pushes back. They go along ropes, end up in another corner, and the ref counts. The fans rally, Eddie lets off, and Eddie backs away, showing sportsmanship. Trent and Eddie reset, tie up, and then Trent fires forearms! Trent runs, but Eddie CHOPS! Fans “WOO~!” but Trent fires a forearm. Trent ducks a chop, forearms gain, repeat! But Eddie fakes Trent out, then CHOPS!
Eddie snapmares Trent, KICKS him in the back, CHOPS him in the chest, repeat! Trent grits his teeth but Eddie FALLING CHOPS! Fans fire up and Trent goes to a corner. Eddie goes corner to corner but Trent dodges! Trent reels Eddie in, TORNADO DDT! Trent covers, ONE!! Trent is annoyed, but he drags Eddie up. Eddie clubs at the arms but Trent CHOPS! And snapmares, and KICKS! Eddie eggs Trent on so Trent stomps him. Trent chokes Eddie by standing on his neck, but steps away as the ref counts. Fans rally for Eddie and he throws CHOPS to Trent’s legs! Trent stomps Eddie but Eddie clamps onto a leg.
Trent hauls Eddie up, snap suplexes him, then scowls as he covers. ONE, and Trent is annoyed. Eddie goes to ropes, Trent storms over and CHOPS! Eddie goes to a corner, Trent CHOPS again! Trent whips corner to corner but Eddie reverses to clothesline! Eddie fires MACHINE GUN CHOPS! The fans fire up but Trent SLAPS Eddie! Eddie CHOPS Trent in the face! Trent falls out of the ring while Trent shakes out his hand. The ref reprimands and Eddie apologizes. A ring count starts, Eddie waits on Trent, and we pass 5 of 10. Eddie goes to the apron and we see Trent’s got a bloody cut on the bridge of his nose.
Eddie waistlocks Trent but Trent elbows free. Eddie staggers, Trent gets in the ring, and then Trent aims to PLANCHA, into a HAYMAKER! Eddie drags Trent right up to SAIDO to the floor! Eddie and Trent both writhe on the ground while Collision goes picture in picture.
Eddie hobbles up to his feet, scowls as he goes back for Trent, and he drags Trent up to throw down hands. Eddie drags Trent up, puts him in the ring, and he throws down more fists, right on the bloody nose. Trent’s mom, Sue, is here and she can’t believe the damage her boy is taking. Eddie stomps Trent to a corner, then CHOPS! Eddie snapmares to KICK Trent in the back, then he clamps on with a chinlock. Trent endures, fights up, throws body shots, and then runs. Eddie swings, Trent ducks ‘n’ dodges, and DOUBLE LARIATS take both men down! Trent sputters as the crimson mask grows.
Eddie shakes out the cobwebs, crawls after Trent as Trent goes for ropes, and Trent drags himself up. Eddie stands to CHOP Trent! And CHOP! And then DECK him with a right hand! Eddie shakes out the hand, then digs his boots in at the corner. The ref counts, Eddie lets off to go side to side, and BOOT WASH as Collision returns to single picture. Trent is dazed, Sue coaches him up, and Eddie stands Trent up. Eddie whips Trent into the corner, runs up but into a BOOT! And another BOOT! Trent goes up, but Eddie YANKS Trent down! Trent hits buckles on the way! Trent sits up, the fans rally up, and he stands back up.
Eddie storms over but Trent fires a forearm! And another! Eddie CHOPS in return! And CHOPS again! Trent falls to his knees, but Eddie still CHOPS! Eddie runs, but Trent JUMP KNEES! Both men fall and the fans rally up. Trent punches himself in the forehead to get himself fired back up! Trent throws forearms on Eddie but Eddie eggs him on. Trent fires forearms against the ropes! Trent sits Eddie down and the fans fire up! The ref backs Trent off, but Trent runs back up to DROPKICK Eddie out of the ring! Fans fire up, Trent builds speed, and he DIVES! Direct hit and Eddie hits railing! Both men are back down and the fans rally back up.
Trent storms his way over, drags Eddie up, and puts him in the ring. Trent climbs up the corner, but Eddie ROCKS him first! And CHOPS him again! Eddie climbs up after Trent, and HEADBUTTS! And HEADBUTTS! Trent fires haymakers in return, then SUPER SUNSET- NO, Eddie holds on! But Trent still pulls Eddie free of the corner, to SITOUT POWERBOMB! Cover, TWO!! Eddie survives and Trent scowls through his crimson mask. Trent Alabama Lifts Eddie, but Eddie fights and clinches! EXPLODER! Fans fire up and Eddie runs up to ENZIGURI! DDT! Cover, TWO!! Trent survives and the fans fire up!
Eddie stands and fans rally. Eddie storms up to drag Trent up, and he half nelsons. Trent fights with elbows, then GERMAN SUPLEXES! Cover, ONE!! Trent still has the waistlock, so he drags Eddie up to GERMAN SUPLEX again! Trent still holds on, and he drags Eddie up again! GERMAN SUPLEX! Fans fire up as Trent huffs and puffs. Eddie sits up, Trent BUSAIKU KNEES! Trent drags Eddie back up, reels him in and GOTCH STYLE PILEDRIVER!! Cover, TWO?!? Eddie survives and the fans fire up! Mama Sue is still worried for her son but Trent sits up. Trent and Eddie stare down while on their knees.
Eddie eggs Trent on, so Trent throws a forearm! Eddie JABS! Trent JABS! They both stand, the fans are with Eddie, but Trent forearms. Eddie CHOPS! Trent throws another forearm! Eddie throws another CHOP! Trent forearms, forearms and ROLLING ELBOWS! Eddie drops to a knee! Trent reels Eddie in, HALF ‘N’ HALF! The fans fire up as Trent aims from a corner, and takes off an elbow pad! Trent runs in, but into a HALF ‘N’ HALF of his own! Trent stands, into the URAKEN!! Then the NORTHERN LIGHTS BOMB!! Cover, TWO?!? Trent survives and the fans can’t believe it! But Eddie brings down the straps!

Backstage interview with Willow Nightingale & Kris Statlander.
Tony Schiavone is with The Babe with the Power, the Galaxy’s Greatest, and apparently Kris’ pet lizard as it sits on her shoulder. Schiavone congratulates them on the tag team win on Rampage, a great start to 2024. But he has to ask, Stokely Hathaway has taken an interest into their careers, and especially Kris. Willow is glad Schiavone also noticed. That was just… weird. But moving on, Willow & Kris are gonna focus on what they’re excited about! And in 2024, Willow is focusing on that hot start with her buddy, Kris. They got a win on TNT last night, they gotta keep it rolling!
Kris agrees, they will keep this rolling. 2023 was huge for them both, with Willow winning the Women’s Owen Hart Cup and Kris winning the TBS Championship, and so they’ll keep that going. 2024 will be bigger and better because these two are among the best wrestlers in AEW, bottom line. Right, Boots? The lizard sits there, so he must agree. Will the Galaxy’s Greatest Babes with the Power take over AEW as a dynamic duo?

Matt Taven & Mike Bennett regained these titles through the nefarious plot hatched by “The Devil Himself,” Adam Cole. But that doesn’t matter to them, so long as they hold onto these titles. Will they cross the Bounty Hunter and AAA World Cruiserweight Champion off the list? Or will Keith & Komander grab those golden tickets in ten minutes or less?
The Code of Honor is upheld, the teams sort out, and then the Kingdom beats down Komander! Bryan protests but Bennett CHOPS away on Komander in the corner. Bennett stomps a mudhole, bumps Komander off buckles then tags in Taven. Taven ROCKS and CHOPS then bumps Komander off more buckles. Taven ROCKS Komander again, keeps him from Bryan and scoops to a BACKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Taven is annoyed but he runs up at Komander. Komander BOOTS him, rolls under to BOOT from below, then he runs in, only for Taven to put him on the apron. Komander KICKS low, springboards and RANA!
The fans fire up, Komander tags in Bryan! Bryan CHOPS and ROCKS Taven on repeat! The ref counts, Taven knees low, and Taven headlocks, Bryan powers out, things speed up, and Bryan BOOTS him! Taven wobbles, the fans fire up, and Bryan throws kicks. Taven shoves Bryan away, tags Bennett but Bryan comes back to whip. Taven slides under and Bennett DECKS Bryan! Renee Paquette is with Jay White & The Gunns, and says a lot went down on Dynamite with Adam Cole & The Undisputed Kingdom. But the question going around is that moment with The Acclaimed. Jay White says there is no question in regards to that, but then White gets spooked as Daddy Ass & The Acclaimed walking in. Billy says they couldn’t help but overhear as BCG was explaining how the Gunns’ dad had to bail them out of something again. Austin Gunn says if Juice Robinson was out there, that moment wouldn’t have happened. Get over yourselves. White says this thing is none of The Acclaimed’s business anyway, given how The Undisputed Kingdom put their hands on him.
So the BCG will be the ones to handle it and finish it. Oh, okay, well, maybe The Acclaimed could put hands on BCG if they want. Oh, how’d that work last time? Didn’t Gunns win and take those tag titles? Bowens has everyone calm down. First off, don’t act like this isn’t Acclaimed business, because the Kingdom threw Bowens through glass. But… As much as it pains Bowens to say this, and he knows this is a crazy idea considering the beef in the past, but… Bowens has been thinking. One thing he’s learned since being in AEW is that the only way to get to the top is through factions.
White, look what you did with Bullet Club in NJPW. You ran roughshod through that entire place. And now look at a guy like Billy Gunn. Billy knows a thing or two about big factions. All Bowens is saying is, and as crazy as it sounds, think about it. The Five Tool Player leads the way out for the Trios Champions, and BCG mumbles “Think about it? Think about it?” Austin admits, it makes sense. Will we end up seeing a super team out of these six in order to bring down The Undisputed Kingdom?

The fans fire up as the Rated R Superstar makes his way to the ring, still spotting a black eye from that No Disqualifications TNT Championship match at Worlds End. He gets the mic and says in case anyone missed Worlds End, “Christian Cage and I beat the living hell out of each other. And I beat him for the TNT Championship. But this past Wednesday on Dynamite, I saw Christian Cage out here saying Adam Copeland goes to the back of the line.” Fans boo that, and Edge says Christian forgets that as a former champion, Edge gets an automatic rematch. But that’s okay.
Because for their entire careers, Christian has been saying Edge was handed opportunities, had a rocket strapped to his back. Really, the issue is that when it comes down to Edge and Christian, Edge just works harder. Christian doesn’t like it but he should be on hands and knees, kissing Luchasa- er, Killswitch’s ass. Fans cheer that! Edge continues to say that Christian wants Edge to earn another shot. Then Edge will start doing that right here tonight! Edge will start from the back, because like he said, he works hard! And you see he’s in his gear, ready for a fight, so let’s make this an Open Challenge! The Cope Open or something.
Edge will stand here, wait for someone to step up, so c’mon. Who wants it? Edge waits, and here comes Maria Kanellis? She has Griff Garrison & Cole Karter, aka the Kingdom’s Army, aka her baby boys, with her, and also a mic. Maria smiles as she hands it over to Griff and he says, “I am Griff Garrison. And a lot of you maybe asking who the… is Griff Garrison? Griff Garrison is the guy that steps up to the plate against a Hall of Famer!” Griff gets up on the apron and tells Edge to look at him and show him some respect since he accepted this challenge. Edge tells Griff that he knows Edge likes him. Griff reminds Edge of himself when he was that age.
Edge appreciates Griff coming out here, and Edge knows he was talking about stepping up, but this is stepping up from below sea level to the top of Mount Everest here. Griff laughs that off, to then SLAP Edge!! Well, okay then. The ref slides in and Edge grins. In that case, Griff, this makes Edge like him even more. But now he’ll have to beat Griff’s ass. Ring the bell!

Edge fires off forearms and CHOPS, stalks Griff to another corner, then reels him in for a HALF HATCH! Griff flounders to ropes, Edge storms up on him, and then Edge CHOPS again! Griff staggers, Edge whips him to ropes, and then back drops him! Griff flounders around, Edge stalks behind him, and then Edge stomps Griff around. Edge drags Griff up to ROCK him in a corner, then whips corner to corner. Griff staggers, Edge scoops, and Edge hits a SNAKE EYES!
Edge keeps moving, and he LARIATS Griff down! Fans fire up and Edge watches Griff go to another corner. The fans rally up, but Maria is lurking! Maria anchors Edge’s foot! Edge glares at her, Griff runs in, but Edge dodges! Griff hits buckles, the ref reprimands Maria, but now Karter trips Edge up! Fans boo as Karter grins, and Griff BOOTS Edge down! Griff rains down fists and forearms on Edge, then lets off. Griff scowls, then CHOKES Edge on the ropes! Griff lets off as the ref counts, then comes back to UPPERCUT! Griff whips Edge corner to corner hard and Edge drops to his knees. Maria cheers but fans rally for Edge.
Griff stands Edge up, reels him in and suplexes high and hard! Cover, ONE!! Edge is hanging in there, but Maria mocks the fans. Griff clamps on a chinlock and he leans on Edge. Edge endures, the fans rally, and Edge fights up. Edge throws body shots, swings a haymaker, but Griff ducks to then atomic FACEBUSTER! Cover, TWO! Edge is still in this but Griff scowls and seethes. Griff storms around, brings Edge up and fireman’s carries, but Edge slips free to the EDGE-O-MATIC! Edge crawls around, the fans rally but Maria gives thumbs down. Edge stands, Griff runs up but Edge dodges to then FLAPJACK!
Fans fire up as Edge whips Griff again. Griff reverses but Edge WRECKS Karter! Edge then HOTSHOTS Griff, hurries up a corner, and he CROSSBODIES! Cover, TWO! Griff shows his own grit and Edge is a bit surprised. Edge aims while Maria shrieks at the fans. Griff rises, Edge aims, and the fans chant for it, SPE- ROLLING ELBOW!! Cover, TWO!! Edge survives and Griff is shocked! The Ivy League MVP was sure he was gonna ace it with that one! Griff hurries up top, but Edge rises to UPPERCUT! Edge fires forearms, climbs up, throws more shots, and fans count all the way to TEN! Then Edge HEADBUTTS over and over, all the way to TEN!
Edge brings Griff to the very top, for a SUPER DUPER PLEX! And roll through, to the IMPALER!! Then, the CROSSFACE! Griff taps, Edge wins!

And Sting’s got a “smack talking guy” talking about how they’re gonna take Sting out? Sting tells Callis & Company not to think Sting’s just gonna coast his way to Revolution. No, that ain’t the case! He’s got the Nature Boy, he’s got Darby Allin, and he’s coming to Jacksonville, Florida, where he debuted! The Chicago Skye has been gloomier and gloomier, all thanks to Julia Hart’s influence. But Skye is still looking to shine with gold of her own, will she put out the Hottest Flame to prove she’s worthy?
The bell rings and the fans rally up. The two circle, tie up, and go around. Skye pulls hair but Kiera turns things around to put Skye in a corner. The ref counts, Kiera lets off and she eggs Skye on. They tie up again, Skye trips Kiera, then she stands over Kiera. But Kiera uses that to sunset flip! TWO, and Kiera headlocks. Skye pulls hair to put Kiera on ropes, but lets off only for a moment. Skye headlocks now, grinds Kiera down, but Kiera endures. Kiera powers up and out, but Skye stomps the dropdown! Skye drags Kiera around, SMACKS her off the mat, then drags Kiera up again. Skye bumps Kiera off buckles and digs her boot in!
The ref counts, Skye lets off at 4, then runs in. Kiera goes up and over, ducks ‘n’ dodges, bobs ‘n’ weaves then SLAPS Skye! Skye scowls but Kiera SLAPS her again! Kiera eggs Skye on, drop toeholds her to ropes, then runs to HIP ATTACK! Kiera YANKS Skye off ropes, but Skye ducks the Buzzsaw! The SUPERKICK hits, Kiera covers, TWO! Kiera is frustrated but she drags Skye up. Skye wrenches out, but Kiera kicks low! Skye ducks another Buzzsaw and reels Kiera in but Kiera elbows free. Only for Skye to use the waistband to reel Kiera back in and ROCK her in the back! Skye then shoves and ROCKS Kiera against ropes!
Skye runs side to side to BOOT WASH! Kiera is dazed but Skye just winks at the camera. Skye storms up on Kiera while Collision goes picture in picture.
Skye TOSSES Kiera out, then goes out after her to put her against barriers. Skye CHOPS Kiera, shakes out her hand, then CLUBS Kiera along the way. Kiera throws body shots and forearms but Skye throws a shot back! Skye CHOPS Kiera against the apron! Skye refreshes the count, then CLUBS Kiera again. Skye paces around but Kiera throws body shots and a CHOP! Skye sputters, Kiera runs up to CHOP again! Skye sputters more, and Kiera storms up, only for Skye to throw body shots and hit a snap suplex to the floor! Skye drags Kiera back up, puts her back in the ring, and covers. TWO, and Skye scowls.
Skye drags Kiera up, bumps her off buckles, and stomps a mudhole in! The ref counts, Skye glares at him, then drags Keira back up. Skye whips corner to corner but Keira reverses, kicks low, and wrenches to then straitjacket and CODE BREAKER! Skye is dazed, Kiera runs and she STEP-UP- NO! Skye avoids the leg drop to PENALTY KICK! Skye covers, TWO! Kiera is still in this but Skye clamps on a chinlock. Kiera endures but Skye steps over and traps an arm. Skye taunts Kiera while thrashing her around, but Kiera still reaches out. Kiera fights up, throws body shots, but Skye throws her by her hair!
Collision returns to single picture as Skye paces around. Skye scuffs Kiera, taunts her, but Kiera throws body shots! Kiera fires forearms, then a kick. Skye blocks to KNEE Kiera, then throws her down! Skye stomps Kiera, goes to a corner and climbs, to MISSILE- SUPERKICK from Kiera! Both women are down and the fans fire up! Kiera rises, Skye sputters, and Kiera runs in corner to corner to CLOBBER Skye! And then a SHOTGUN! Skye ends up in a corner. Kiera runs in to clothesline! Kiera sits Skye down, runs corner to corner and back again, to HIP ATTACK! Kiera keeps going, BOOT WASH of her own!
Fans rally up and Kiera drags Skye up. Kiera turns Skye to a HANGING NECKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Skye survives and Kiera seethes. Skye shoves Kiera, ROCKS her, then whips. But Kiera reverses and Skye hits buckles! Keira CHOPS! CHOPS! And CHOPS! Kiera climbs up, and she rains down fists! The fans count along, but Skye slips out at 5 to CLUB Keira! Skye tucks Kiera in, to CHEEKY NANDOS! And then RUNNING- NO, Kiera slips off the bomb! Kiera dodges a lariat, but Skye SUPERKICKS! Kiera SUPERKICKS in return! And Kiera SUPERKICKS again! Keira fires up, but Skye fireman’s carries! T K O!!
Skye rolls through to the DRAGON SLEEPER!! Kiera taps, Skye wins!

Claudio stops at TEN and he THROWS Everett away!
Claudio grins, drags Everett up, and whips him hard into a corner! The giant tumbles but Claudio storms up on him. Lexi Nair is with the AEW World Tag Team Champions, and notes we heard from Le Sex Gods, Sammy Guevara & Chris Jericho, on Rampage. Starks faces Sammy at Daily’s Place, returning to Jacksonville a champion. Starks knows everybody in Jacksonville’s just waiting for his return. And how fitting, being that Starks made his debut on Dynamite in a TNT Championship match against Cody Rhodes. And while Starks wasn’t successful, he stands here today as one-half of the AEW World Tag Team Champions. This will be the first singles match of Starks VS Sammy under the AEW roof, and how exciting! All the history they have!
But guess what? All that goes out the window next week when Starks goes and destroys Sammy! Starks will manhandle Sammy, cut Sammy’s legs out from under him. Starks only knows how to do one thing, and that is be Absolute. And next week will be no different. Bill points out that it is Saturday Night Collision, neither Sammy or Jericho is here. But the champs hope that they’ll both be here next Saturday because Bill issues an official challenge. Next Saturday, Norfolk, Virginia and Battle of the Belts 9! The AEW World Tag Team Championships, Starks & Bill VS Sammy & Jericho, in a STREET FIGHT!

High Stakes Tag: FTR VS The House of Black!
Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler are Carolina boys, and they’re ready to fight in front of their family and friends with it all on the line! That’s because if FTR loses, they must DISOWN their families, and join Malakai & Buddy in the House of Black. Will the Dark Father & Aussie Juggernaut tear down the FTR family tree with their own hands? Or will the Top Guys prove you really can go home again?
The teams sort out and the fans are all fired up for FTR as Dax starts against Buddy. Dax and Buddy stare down, but Buddy smirks as he points to the Harwood family. Dax scowls and storms up on Buddy. They tie up, go around, and Buddy puts Dax in a corner. The ref counts, Dax turns things around, but then Buddy pie faces him. Dax CHOPS! Buddy storms up, they tie up again, and Dax puts Buddy in a corner. Buddy turns things around, the ref counts, and Buddy lets off slowly. Dax shoves Buddy but Buddy CHOPS! Dax nods, he and Buddy circle, and they tie up. Dax wrenches an arm, tags Cash, but Buddy slips away.
Fans rally for FTR while Cash waits on the House. Buddy and Cash circle, tie up, and Buddy wrenches. Buddy wristlocks, then YANKS the arm and grinds it down. Cash fights up, but Buddy spins him and wrangles him to the mat. Cash kips up but Buddy throws him down! The ref reprimands, but Cash kips up again and wrenches. Cash headlocks. Buddy powers up and out, and they RAM shoulders. Buddy hits a headlock takeover, Cash hits the headscissors, but Buddy kips free. Cash reverses roles with the headlock takeover but Buddy headscissors, and now Cash kips free, to drop toehold!
Cash drags Buddy over, tags Dax, and they double whip to double body shot, and DOUBLE RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Cover, ONE!! Buddy gets to the corner, and fans rally up for FTR. Dax dares Malakai to do something, so Malakai tags in. Fans fire up as Dax and Malakai circle now. They tie up, Dax headlocks but Malakai powers out. Dax runs Malakai over, things keep moving, and Dax ducks the hurdle. Dax waistlocks, Malakai switches and snapmares, then runs to PENALTY- NO, Dax blocks the kick! Dax fires hands, but Malakai tries kicks. Both men bob ‘n’ weave, but Malakai sits down cross-legged. So Dax sits down, too! And flips Malakai off!
Malakai sighs and bails out, to go right to the Harwood family! Cash rushes over to chase Malakai off! Dax checks on his wife and daughter, but the House sits in the ring cross-legged. FTR regroups and talks game plan while Collision goes picture in picture.
FTR takes their time returning, making the House wait now. Malakai and Dax reset and circle again as the fans rally up. Dax says these are the people who care about him, but Malakai just chuckles. Malakai and Dax tie up, go around, and end up in a corner. Malakai pushes his forearms into Dax’s face, but lets off as the ref counts. The two reset, tie up again, and Malakai wrenches to a wristlock. Buddy tags in, he takes the handoff to wrench Dax’s arm, but Dax wrenches back. Buddy ROCKS Dax with a forearm! Buddy whips Dax to the corner, stomps him, then tags Malakai. The House mugs Dax, then Malakai whips.
Malakai ELBOWS Dax down, then headlocks for a takeover. Dax keeps his shoulders up then fights to his feet. Dax powers up and out, RAMS shoulders, then CHOPS Malakai to the corner. FTR has control again as Collision goes to break.
Collision returns, Cash tags Dax and they whip Buddy to drop toehold, and ELBOW DROP! Dax covers, ONE!! Dax stands Buddy up to CHOP him! Buddy kicks back, throws hands and CHOPS, but Dax CHOPS again! They CHOP and CHOP but Dax CHOPS harder! Dax UPPERCUTS Buddy in a corner, whips him corner to corner, but Buddy ELBOWS back! Buddy bumps Dax off buckles, tags Malakai, and the House mugs Dax. Malakai snapmares Dax, runs and basement dropkicks! Cover, TWO, but Malakai has an arm. Dax ROCKS Malakai, tags Cash, and they mug Malakai. Cash CLUBS Malakai to a corner, then CHOPS him!
Cash shakes out his hand while fans “WOO~!” Cash whips corner to corner, runs in, but Malakai puts him up and out. Cash ROCKS Malakai, ELBOWS Buddy, then HOTSHOTS Malakai! Cash UPPERCUTS Buddy, but Malakai SWEEPS the legs! Cash hits apron, but then Buddy gets him up to APRON BACK SUPLEX! Dax protests, but Malakai just ASAI MOONSAULTS onto Cash! Fans are torn as Cash goes down in a heap. Malakai has to catch his breath, that attack is always a little double-edged. The ring count climbs, but Malakai puts Cash against apron to KICK! And KICK! Malakai shoves Cash in, then stalks him.
Malakai stomps Cash, drops knees on him, then more knees. Malakai snapmares Cash to drop a knee right on Cash’s head! Cover, TWO! Cash hangs tough but Malakai tags Buddy. Buddy stomps Cash, stays between him and Dax, then brings Cash up. Buddy ROCKS Cash, tags Malakai, and they mug Cash. Tag back to Buddy, and Malakai sends Buddy in, but Cash puts Buddy on the apron! Cash ROCKS Buddy, then sends Malakai into him! Buddy falls and Cash hurries for his corner! Buddy hurries back in, but Cash jukes him! Buddy falls back out, only for Malakai to get Cash’s leg! Cash hops up to ENZIGURI!
Cash reaches out, but Buddy BOOTS Dax down first!! Then GAMANGIRIS Cash! Buddy covers, TWO!! Cash survives and fans rally back up. Buddy is frustrated as he storms up on Cash while Collision goes picture in picture.
Buddy KICKS Cash in the back! Cash grits his teeth through the pain, but Buddy clamps on a chinlock. Buddy leans on the hold as he squeezes tight. Cash endures, fights up, but Buddy wrangles him back down. The fans rally as Cash continues to fight. Cash is fading, but the ref checks. Cash gets his second wind, fights up and arm-drags free! Buddy swings, Cash bobs ‘n’ weaves to JAB, JAB and swing. Buddy gets under to shove Cash, but Cash BLASTS Malakai! Cash ELBOWS Buddy, but Buddy still keeps him from Dax! Buddy whips, Cash goes up and over to sunset flip! TWO!! Buddy escapes but Cash whips, only for Buddy to reverse!
Buddy jumps, but into Cash’s POWERSLAM! Both men are down and the fans fire up! A standing count starts, Cash and Buddy crawl, hot tag to Malakai! Malakai runs up to waistlock Cash. Cash elbows fere, hot tag to Dax! Dax JABS, JABS, JABS and DECKS Malakai! And DECKS him again! And DECKS Buddy! Dax whips, Malakai reverses but Dax ducks ‘n’ dodges to CLOBBER Malakai! Dax whips Buddy, Buddy reverses but Dax reverses back to wrench and short arm LARIAT! Collision returns to single picture once more, and Dax is after Malakai in a corner. Dax climbs up to rain down punches! He stops at 7 to CROSSBODY Buddy!
Dax fires more hands, then he atomic drops Malakai! Dax whips, Malakai reverses but Dax reverses back to wrench and short arm- NO, Malakai ducks the lariat! Malakai waistlocks, Buddy runs in, but Dax back drops him up and over them both! Dax switches to suplex Malakai, for a BRAINBUSTER! Cover, TWO!! Malakai survives and Dax is frustrated. The Harwood family rallies as hard as they can and Dax has Malakai’s legs. Dax steps through but Malakai BOOTS Dax! Buddy catches Dax, but Dax BOOTS Malakai! Dax ELBOWS Buddy away, O’Conner Rolls Malakai, TWO! Into a GAMANGIRI from Buddy!
Malakai ELBOWS Dax down, covers, TWO!!! Dax survives by the blink of an eye and Malakai can’t believe it! Buddy storms in and the House hauls Dax up. The House double whip, but Dax ducks the double lariat! Cash trips Buddy, Dax rolls Malakai up, TWO!! Malakai escapes, but Dax runs up! Malakai boots then KNEES Dax away! Malakai goes up, but Dax trips him up! Cash also goes up top, and Dax climbs after Malakai. Fans fire up as Dax brings Malakai up for the SUPERPLEX! There’s the Power, Cash DIVING SPLASH for the Glory!! Dax covers, but Buddy METEORAS Cash onto it!! Fans are thunderous as all four men are down!
A standing count starts on the legal men. The four stir, “This is Awesome!” as FTR regroups in a corner. Malakai & Buddy stand, but Cash DUMPS Buddy out! Malakai runs in, Cash DUMPS him out, too! Cash builds speed and DIVES! But the House catches him, to POP-UP DOUBLE KNEE!! Then they DOUBLE HIP TOSS Cash over the desk!! Fans lose their minds as Cash’s body almost takes out Kevin Kelly! Malakai then grabs a chair?! Is this no longer about winning but about hurting FTR? Malakai storms in, the ref tells him to think about this. Buddy tags in, Dax sees he’s alone in that ring. Malakai looks at the Harwood family and says it’s almost over now.
But Dax ROCKS Malakai! And ROCKS Buddy! Dax fires off on Malakai in the corner but Buddy rolls him up! With tights! TWO!! Dax escapes but Buddy fires off the strike fest! SOBAT! Front kick! Foot stomp! But Dax avoids the knee! Cash is back!! SHATTER MACHINE!!!! Cover, MALAKAI BREAKS IT!! The fans are thunderous as this continues! Cash and Malakai go to the apron, and Cash CHOPS! And CHOPS! Malakai ROCKS and KICKS and KICKS in return! And KICKS, and KICKS, and KICKS! Malakai reels Cash in, but Cash drops down! Dax is up on the apron, Cash goes up a corner! APRON MIND BREAKER!!!
The fans lose their minds as Malakai goes down in a heap! Wait, BRODY KING is here! The third man of the House has the fans hooting and barking, but who is running up behind him? Daniel Garcia!! He SMACKS Brody with a chair! And JAMS him! And SMACKS him again! Fans fire up as Garcia then CHUCKS the chair into Brody’s face!! Garcia tells FTR to get back in the fight! The fans are thunderous and FTR stirs to life! Dax gets in, but Buddy CURB STOMPS him!! Cover, ROPEBREAK!! Dax survives by a literal foot! Buddy drags Dax up, reels him in, and POWERBOMBS! High stack, TWO and Dax has it! FTR WINS!!!
Winners: FTR, by pinfall (stays with their real families)
Garcia celebrates with the Top Guys, he made sure the House didn’t stack the deck! But then Brody CLOBBERS them all! Malakai BOOTS Garcia, too! The House stomps away on Garcia & FTR but the fans boo! Buddy gets that chair, Brody runs off the ref, and Buddy CURB STOMPS Cash onto the chair!! Buddy hands the chair to Brody, then sets Dax up. Malakai says to end this, so the chair is put up against Dax’s face. BLACK MASS through the chair!! Then Brody SMACKS Garcia right down!! The fans boo as hard as they can and the Harwood family can only watch! Wait, who is ringing the bell? Julia Hart!!
The Princess of the Black Throne rings the bell ten times, as if for the untimely passing of FTR. GONZO BOMB for Garcia!! The House of Black stands tall, pretending to be solemnly saddened by what just happened. Will all of AEW see, that regardless of the match results, the House Always Wins?
My Thoughts:
A great Collision here, with great set-up for next week. Sting & Darby of course win against the Workhorsemen, but that was a pretty good promo backstage with Flair. And I like that the tag match on Dynamite is being upgraded to Tornado Rules, as a normal tag match wasn’t enough for this. Claudio of course beat Everett, but Everett had a decent showing. Claudio calling out Hangman is an interesting move, but that is going to be an awesome match. Eddie VS Trent was a great first defense for the Continental Crown title, and a great win for Eddie. Here’s hoping Eddie shows up on this week’s ROH to get going on an ROH World Championship story.
Good promo from Hook, and I am rather surprised he wants right after Samoa Joe. I thought there was gonna be one more match with him and Yuta, but in a way, this makes sense. Hook really has been booked as this force of nature, and seeing him be so chill against the intense Joe is going to be some great stuff. Undisputed Kingdom winning the Proving Grounds makes sense, it’s tantamount to a first defense with the ROH World Tag titles, but I do appreciate them pushing the time limit a lot closer than any Proving Grounds match has since AEW acquired ROH.
Really good match from Skye VS Kiera, with a really good win for Skye. Just not sure where this is going for her, other than a match with Julia for the TBS Championship. Great promo from Edge to respond to Christian Cage while also getting a match. Edge of course beat Griff but that was a great match for Griff to reestablish himself on TV. Edge is gonna probably have quite a lot more of these since he is going to earn his way back to the TNT Championship. Then, perhaps by the time we’re at Revolution, Edge and Christian have what will be their fourth match total. And that has to be where Luchasaurus turns on Christian to screw him out of the title.
Really good promo from Acclaimed with Bullet Club Gold, and you can bet that team-up is gonna happen. And really good promo from Bill & Starks to call out Le Sex Gods. Battle of the Belts returning next week, that’s as good a place as any for Jericho to use his title opportunity for the tag titles. And this probably means Bill & Starks retain so that they can get Jericho out of the way and let the allegations sort out. Then Bill & Starks can face any number of other teams. One of those teams is probably gonna be FTR after the big win they got in tonight’s awesome main event. Just as I was hoping, Garcia does help FTR, and that establishes a possible Six Man Tag as well.

Okada storms up on Matt, TOSSES him out, and he distracts the ref so Konosuke can SMACK Matt off the desk! Callis says okay, take it easy, but Konosuke stands Matt so Callis can CLAW Matt’s eye! Okada takes off the vest and he tags in. “This is Awesome!” as Okada & Konosuke stand Matt up. Matt fires hands on Okada, then on Konosuke, then runs. Matt ducks ‘n’ dodges, then rolls back to wheelbarrow and DOUBLE BULLDOG! The fans fire up while Matt reaches out. Hot tag to Nick! Now Nick fires hands on Okada and Konosuke! Moxley is dazed, but Ospreay mockingly asks how much time do they have. He’s still got time, right? The fans sing for “OSPREAY~ OSPREAY OSPREAY OSPREAY~!” as he watches Moxley sit up slowly. HIDDEN BLADE AGAIN!! Moxley flops out of the ring but Ospreay hurries out after him. Ospreay stands Moxley up, ROCKS Moxley, then brings him around to put him on the apron. Ospreay grinds the neck before the DRAPING NECKBREAKER! Moxley writhes, blood in his mouth, while the fans cheer Ospreay.
Ospreay drags Moxley up, puts him in, and climbs up the corner. Moxley stands, into a BLINDSIDE FLYING FOREARM! The fans cheer again while Moxley flounders around. The fans fire up for Kyle, he tags Roddy, and they KICK and CHOP away on Finlay! Cassidy warns them, and they intercept Kidd & Connors with KICK and CHOP! Then Kyle ROCKS Finlay, tags Cassidy, and Roddy hits a BACKBREAKER on Finlay! Cassidy climbs up, but then climbs down, and winds up to ELBOW DROP! The fans cheer while Cassidy flexes. Cassidy coordinates with the others, but The Dogs CLOBBER them all! No high-fives here, but then Conglomeration TOSSES the Dogs out! And we get the triple high-five! Cassidy DIVES onto Finlay, but Finlay catches him! And Connors dodges the wrecking ball dropkick! Finlay THROWS Cassidy into the barriers, Connors THROWS Roddy into railing! Finlay stomps Kyle to get him off of Gabe, then Finlay brings Kyle up. Connors aims from the apron, Finlay suplexes, FULL CLIP to the floor! The fans boo but The Dogs soak up the heat. From there, his second reign has been much like the first, with shortcuts and underhanded tactics. He even went so far as to seal off Hangman Adam Page from this title forever! But now, the God of Professional Wrestling has his chance to set things right! Will The Devil pay for his sins? Or will Kenny Omega have to admit that Maxwell Jacob Friedman is better than him, and he knows it?
MJF leans heavily into his Devil personal with the throne rising up from underground and the heavy metal looking outfit. The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who truly reigns on high!
For once, the ref thinks ahead, and he tells MJF to give up the Dynamite Diamond Ring! MJF reluctantly obliges, then the bell rings. The fans lose their minds already as they witness this dream rematch. MJF and Kenny step up, and MJF says it doesn’t matter how many fans cheer him on, it won’t win the match. MJF and Kenny circle, feel things out, and tie up. They’re in a deadlock, then break. The fans rally as the two circle. The fans taunt MJF with, “You Got Hair Plugs!” MJF tells the fans to shut up, then he and Kenny circle again. They tie up, Kenny rolls MJF up, TWO! MJF swings, misses, and Kenny Electric Chair Lifts!
MJF victory rolls through, TWO! MJF runs up, Kenny goes up and over, then he ducks ‘n’ dodges! Kenny goes up, steadies himself, and CROSSBODIES! MJF hurries to ropes, but he dodges Kenny! MJF has Kenny in place, but Kenny THROWS MJF away before the Heatseeker! Then Kenny aims, BANG, and- NO, MJF bails out before the V-Trigger! The fans boo, but MJF goes over the railing and walks it off. The fans boo, MJF tells them to shut up, then MJF takes his time going back to ringside. MJF says we’re on HIS time, then he steps into the ring. Kenny and MJF reset, and Kenny offers that handshake again.
MJF laughs, and he pie faces Kenny instead! Kenny shoves MJF, MJF CLAWS Kenny’s face! The fans boo but MJF soaks up heat. MJF runs, but into a RANA! MJF tumbles out, Kenny gets the Terminator Drums going, and he builds speed, but MJF just steps aside. MJF says he’s too smart for that, but then Kenny WERCKS MJF with a dropkick! And then PLANCHAS! Down goes MJF and the fans fire up! MJF scrambles away while Kenny high-fives fans. Kenny lines up a shot, runs in at MJF, but MJF drop toeholds Kenny onto a chair! MJF grins as he outsmarts Kenny on that one. MJF ROCKS Kenny, Kenny falls into the timekeeper’s area, and MJF soaks up the heat.
MJF stands Kenny up, but Kenny SLAPS MJF! Kenny hits at QUEBRADA using the barriers! The fans fire up again while Kenny stands back up. Then Kenny clears off the timekeeper’s table, and the fans cheer as he brings it around! The ref reprimands but Kenny apologizes, he has to do this. Kenny drops the table onto MJF, then DIVING DOUBLE STOMPS the table into MJF! The fans fire up as Kenny brings back a classic maneuver! Kenny then takes the table, sets it up nearby, but the ref says win this in the ring! Kenny rolls into the ring, but then rolls out, refreshing the count. The fans cheer as Kenny brings the table around.
Kenny makes sure the table is in just the right spot, then he brings MJF around. Kenny puts MJF on the table, HAMMERS away on him, then goes back to the ring. The fans cheer as Kenny climbs up the corner, but MJF rolls into the ring! The fans boo but Kenny just changes his trajectory, only for MJF to hit the ropes! Kenny is tripped up and falls to the mat! MJF stomps a mudhole in, then stands on the corner to soak up the heat. MJF drags Kenny up, scoops him, and SLAMS him! Kenny Electric Chair Lifts, then climbs up the corner! Kenny reaches up, but MJF slips free! MJF CLAWS Kenny’s back, then BITES him on the forehead! The ref reprimands, MJF stops at 4, and MJF puts Kenny up top. MJF climbs up after Kenny now, and he drags Kenny up onto his shoulder.

MJF tumbles back out, the fans rally with the Terminator Drums, but Kenny takes a bit longer to get set up. Kenny builds speed to the corner, this is for Kota Ibushi! GOLDEN TRIANGLE MOONSAULT! Down goes MJF and the fans fire up! Kenny takes a moment to catch his breath while the fans cheer “A E DUB! A E DUB!” Kenny walks off the pain and he brings MJF up.

The fans boo, but MJF has Kenny on the ropes quite literally as he BODY BLOWS! MJF scuffs and slaps Kenny again, CHOPS him on the back, but Kenny gets in MJF’s face! MJF ROCKS Kenny, SPITS on him, but Kenny grins. MJF eggs Kenny on, the fans are thunderous, and Kenny says STOP! He fires off a series of fast hands! The fans fire up as Kenny ROCKS, BOOTS, KICKS, and repeat! Kenny KICKS MJF right in the face! Kenny is unleashing that same scary mode Ibushi has!
Kenny tells MJF guess what. Kenny SPINS in MJF’s face, then BUZZSAWS him! Then BANG, V-TRIGGER!! The fans want that “One More Time!” but Kenny stands MJF up to ROCK him with that straight right! The fans cheer as MJF is back on the ropes, and Kenny reloads to V-TRIGGER!! Kenny then hauls MJF up in the Electric Chair, for a ONE WINGED- NO, MJF slips free, shoves Kenny, and uses the ref as a shield for the V-TRIGGER!! Down goes Bryce and the fans go nuts! Kenny checks on Bryce, he is out cold! MJF LOW BLOWS Kenny!! MJF crawls to Bryce, makes sure he is out, and then he goes looking in the pockets!

Kenny would’ve won three times over! Wait, Paul Turner is here! Cover, TWO!!! MJF survives what was actually 15 counts, but nothing can be done about that now! Kenny is furious but MJF goes to the apron. The fans cheer for the table, and Kenny says why not. Kenny goes to the apron, then he lifts MJF! But the gut bothers him again! Kenny fires back up, but MJF DIAMOND RING BODY BLOWS!! The ref missed it, checking on Bryce!

Whether you agree with the talk of Devil and God of AEW, it is very clear that MJF is a sinner for all the crimes he committed just to hold onto his gold! Will Kenny Omega ever have this world title again? As for MJF, he sits upon his throne, adorned with his twisted crown and “Triple B.” But will we see Darby Allin become a demon slayer when he challenges MJF in Seattle?
My Thoughts:
Another awesome PPV for AEW, though full to the brim as always. I wonder if AEW needs to let pressure off and not always have every single title defended at a PPV. Anyway, great Zero Hour stuff, and I certainly didn’t think they’d bring Kamille back quite like this, but going after Willow and the TBS title is great stuff for Kamille. They’ll have a great match, but something about this makes me think Kamille almost has to win or what was the point? Great match for Windsor VS Marina and a great win for Windsor. Perry VS Davis was very good, and rather outta nowhere, a bit to my point of AEW insisting every title be defended. Maya & Hyan VS Divine Dominion was really good, too, but of course status quo is kept on Zero Hour.
Awesome tag match from Okada & Konosuke VS Bucks, but of course the team of Okada & Konosuke fell apart. This builds towards not just Okada VS Konosuke but it could also build the Don Callis Family Civil War with the family split down the middle. I’m thinking Andrade could join Team Konosuke as Faces after his epic with Darby. Darby was of course winning this, given MJF was winning the main event. Andrade showing respect to Darby will not make Callis happy, but Andrade was already upset about the MJF business so it’d make sense. But I’m already worried it’s not gonna go Darby’s way if they’re doing it in the Seattle area and not on PPV…
Very good match from Jericho VS Ricochet, but Ricochet winning was quite the surprise. Though, if this ends up just like all other Jericho feuds, won’t he come back for more, drag this out, and then we get another match where Ricochet still wins? FTR VS Cope & Christian was great, and while FTR winning out wasn’t really surprising, FTR winning so suddenly kinda was. The Bucks winning their match, are we getting FTR VS Bucks again at Double or Nothing? Or are we getting the Triple Threat they kinda teased after Revolution? A Triple Threat would definitely be a way to protect FTR and C&C while Bucks get their historic fourth reign.
The Casino Gauntlet was once again awesome and unpredictable, and what an awesome win for Kevin Knight. Though, with it being at Bailey’s expense since he was in that Dragontamer, will that compel JetSpeed feuding on the way to Double or Nothing? At the very least, Ciampa going after Knight will give us an awesome match. Thekla VS Jamie was really good, but another sneaky win for Thekla might prolong this story to Double or Nothing. Windsor getting past Marina, I wonder if Windsor gets her shot at Thekla while Jamie watches her back.
Moxley VS Ospreay was awesome, but the go-home math definitely indicated Moxley was winning this. Ospreay hitting the Hidden Blades to start but he didn’t bother covering, that was their way of showing us Ospreay wasn’t winning. Ospreay was too focused on hurting Moxley, not winning a title, but I’m sure this story will continue. Conglomeration VS Dogs was really good, but it seems Gabe’s arm got legit hurt. Hopefully he’s alright, because this not only screws with AEW plans but with NJPW plans. But at the same time, I sensed The Dogs being transitional champions to The Conglomeration now that Kyle O’Reilly is back, great stuff for them.
And of course, go-home math came through on MJF VS Kenny. Kenny stood tall but he chose to NOT keep the Dynamite Diamond Ring for his own, that stupid thing came through for MJF again, and MJF retains. An awesome match all the same, and MJF just keeps building the heat, but again, hard to say if Darby actually wins out on Wednesday.

#JetSetLucha dethroned the Don Callis Family, they overcame the Don Callis Family, but now they face a very different trio tonight. Will Mistico, Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey be #WarReady? Or will Gabe Kidd, Clark Connors & David Finlay take these titles for their own?
The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see who really runs this!
The trios sort out and Mistico starts against Finlay. The fans rally as they circle, but then Gabe CLOBBERS Mistico and Connors YANKS Bailey down! Finlay BLASTS Knight down, then he TOSSES Mistico! The Dogs soak up the heat before they keep on beating up the champs! Bailey is sent into railing, Finlay CLUBS Knight, and Connors CLAWS at Mistico’s mask! Finlay CLAWS bailey’s face, Gabe stomps Bailey, then Gabe puts Bailey in the ring. Gabe mocks Bailey with a crane stance before he CHOPS! Gabe whips, Bailey handsprings, then Bailey ducks ‘n’ dodges to RANA! The fans fire up as Bailey then DROPKICKS Gabe out!
Bailey aims but Connors CLOBBERS him first! Knight FLYING ARM-DRAGS Connors, then bypasses him. Connors counters the hip toss, only for Knight to counter with an arm-drag! Knight back suplexes, Connors lands out to shove, but Knight goes up and over. Knight bypasses again to TOSS Connors out! Finlay CLOBBERS Knight! The fans boo but Finlay then kicks Mistico and fires off. Finlay whips, Mistico ducks ‘n’ dodges to RANA! Finlay tumbles out, Mistico ducks ‘n’ dodges Connors to tilt-o-whirl RANA him, too! The Dogs CLAW eyes, then throw hands! Gabe whips Bailey but Bailey DUMPS Gabe out! PLANCHA and down goes Gabe! Knight DUMPS Connors out, then slingshots, but lands out as Connors moves. Knight then goes to the corner to PLANCHA Connors down after all! Finlay whips, Mistico DUMPS him out, and then TORNILLO PLANCHAS! The fans fire up as #JetSetLucha has turned the tables on The Dogs! The champs regroup and they get the Dogs set up.
Bailey CHOPS Gabe, Mistico ROCKS Finlay, and Knight CHOPS Connors! Mistico KICKS Finlay, Knight ROCKS Connors, and Mistico SMACKS Finlay off the desk! Bailey sends Gabe into more railing! Bailey high-fives fans while Knight stomps Connors. Mistico BOOTS Finlay down, Knight high-fives fans, and Mistico CLAWS Finlay’s face in return! Mistico KICKS Finlay in the back! Bailey KICKS Connors, Mistico DECKS Finlay, and the champs return to the ring. Tag to Bailey, tag to Knight, and they all build speed! But The Dogs trip them up! JEEP FLIPPER for Knight! Connors drags Knight up, SMACKS him, then stalks him to the corner. Tag to Finlay and he stomps Knight. Finlay stomps a mudhole in, argues with the ref, and Gabe gets a cheap shot in! Connors CHOKES Knight! The Dogs soak up the heat before Finlay steps on Knight’s neck! The ref counts, Finlay steps off and tags Gabe. Gabe stalks Knight, Knight fires body shots, but Gabe stops Knight from reaching his corner! Gabe RAMS Knight into the corner, SMACKS him down, then talks trash on the fans. Gabe SPITS at Knight, then taunts Bailey and Mistico. Connors CHOKES Knight behind the ref’s back, then Finlay snap suplexes! Cover, TWO!
Finlay keeps Knight down with an armlock, and he bends Knight’s fingers before he JAMS them into the mat! Knight clutches that hand, but Finlay BOOTS him down! Finlay then drags Knight to center for a neck wrench. Collision returns to single picture as Knight endures the chinlock. Finlay leans on the hold but Knight fights up. The fans rally, Knight fires body shots, but Finlay throat chops! Finlay whips, Knight reverses, and Knight DROPKICKS Finlay down! The fans fire up while both men are down! Finlay and Knight crawl, hot tag to Mistico! The fans fire up as Mistico runs, handsprings, and ELBOWS FInlay!
Mistico keeps moving, he ducks ‘n’ dodges to RANA! Gabe & Connors run in, Mistico dodges them both, and he uses Connors to get up! RANA on Gabe! CHOP on Connors! Mistico CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS, then goes up, up, and FLYING ARM-DRAGS! The fans fire up as The Dogs are all outside! #JetSetLucha tries this again, and they build speed to TRIPLE DIVE! Down go The Dogs at the ramp! The fans fire up again, and Bailey puts Finlay in. Mistico tags Knight, Knight climbs up, but Gabe YANKS Bailey down! Gabe stomps Mistico, hauls him up, PILEDRIVER! The Dogs regroup, Finlay tags Gabe. The Mad Man brings Knight up, around, but Knight fights the lift! Knight RAMS Gabe into the corner! The United Empire regrouped backstage, victorious from the Chaos in Canada, but Will Ospreay says, “Lemme get this straight, Jon Boy. Last week, you said there was six of you and only one of me. That’s funny, because I got a lot of friends over in Japan. Not even friends, brothers, guys that looked after my back since day one. Francesco Akira, one of the greatest Junior Heavyweight Tag wrestlers of all time. Henare, one of the toughest mother effers I’ve ever met in my entire life. This guy knocked out Gabe Kidd with one hand, bang, across his head, and a gash in his head that was about four centimeters.
“And this is my little brother, Callum Newman. You may recognize that (title on his shoulder). He is the youngest-ever IWGP Heavyweight Champion. Together, we’re the United Empire.” Callum says after Ryogoku, after winning the most prestigious title in all of pro-wrestling, Big Brother Billy took ’em all out to the bar, said he had a problem at work. Well, there’s one thing about the Empire: The ARE united. They’ve had their differences, they’ve had things going on, but it doesn’t matter where or when, The Empire stands together. They are a brotherhood! Damn right. And Jon, Sunday, Ospreay gets you all to himself.
No Death Riders, no United Empire, just them and the Continental Championship. And Moxley said he wont’ stand in the way of action and consequences. Good. Neither will Ospreay. The Aerial Assassin’s edge is sharpened, but will he be able to cut down The Maniac?

Both former AEW Women’s World Champions have been dealing with some frustrations over not winning titles. But these two go away back to the early days of AEW, so surely they can make a formidable tag team. Will this be the beginning of the Galaxy’s Greatest Duo? Or are they resting on their laurels even now?
The teams sort out and Shida starts against Ava. The fans cheer Ava on as a local favorite, but Shida fires off forearms! Shida ROCKS Ava and puts her in the corner. Shida whips corner to corner, then runs in, and she JUMP KNEES Ava! Shida climbs up and rains down fists! The fans count along and Shida goes to TEN! Shida is fired up, the fans cheer, and Shida brings Ava around to suplex for the FALCON ARROW! Shida then winds up and runs, but Kris tags in! Shida is upset by that but Ava hot tags Gigi! Gigi runs up and RAMS Kris! Gigi fires forearms, but Kris snap suplexes! Then a roll through for the FISHERMAN BUSTER!

The Death Riders regrouped after that loss, but Moxley laughed it off and said that was so much fun. Chaos, tables breaking, bodies flying everywhere. They live for this! The Empire stepped into the Death Riders’ world and survived, congrats, good for them. But do they wanna do it again? Or do they want to never have to do that again? This is where Death Riders live! This is what they do, this is what they are! They thrive in the chaos, the live in the eye of the storm! No organization, not in AEW or NJPW or CMLL, nowhere else in this world, can they run with this group. No one can keep up with this group, not for long.
Others get tired, hurt, distracted, fall off, break. Will Ospreay is hellbent on breaking Moxley’s neck. So headstrong, so determined, so talented. Ospreay has done everything right in his career. Maybe. With this play that he’s making, 20 minutes alone with Moxley to get his hands on Moxley, that is a very long time to not make a mistake. Not with a neck like that! Ospreay can’t afford it. So screw Ospreay, screw the United Empire, screw NJPW, it’s them VS The World! Moxley leaves, Daniel Garcia reiterates, “Against the world.” Will nothing stop MOxley from keeping that Contiental Championship?
Casino Gauntlet Stakes: Rush VS Anthony Bowens!
Tommaso Ciampa won the #1 spot in the TNT Championship Casino Gauntlet, but now it is time to determine who joins him as #2! Will El Toro Blanco stampede his way into Vancouver? Or will the Pride of Professional Wrestling prove he can be a killer?
The bell rings and the two circle. The fans rally for Rush as the two tie up, then break. They tie up again, Bowens headlocks, but Rush fires body shots. Rush puts Bowens on ropes, headlocks in return, but Bowens powers up and out. Things speed up, Bowens drops down then hurdles over, but Rush leaps over Bowens! Rush comes back but Bowens RUNS him over! Rush returns to RUN Bowens over! The fans fire up as the two start shoving. Then they start throwing forearms! Rush fires up and eggs Bowens on. The forearms keep going, then Rush CHOPS! Bowens scowls to CHOP again! Rush CHOPS!
The CHOPS go back and forth, then Bowens CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS! Bowens runs, but rush dodges to CHOP! And CHOP! Rush eggs Bowens on again, then dodges to DECK him! Bowens goes to a corner while the fans fire up. Rush sits Bowens down to stomp away on him! Rush then goes corner to corner and back again, to fake the dropkick, and he BOOTS Bowens instead! The fans are torn as Rush rolls back to tranquilo. Rush then hears the fans fire up. Bowens runs up but Rush SNAP POWERSLAMS him! Rush kicks and runs, but into a BOOT from Bowens! Bowens CLUBS and ELBOWS Rush again and again!
Bowens CLUBS Rush down, Rush bails out, and Bowens goes out after Rush. The fans cheer Bowens as he whips Rush hard into railing! And then whips him hard into more railing! Bowens scissor fingers some fans, then he SMACKS Rush off the steel steps again and again! Rush falls over, Bowens roars, and the fans cheer him on! Bowens drags Rush up, reels him in, but Rush fights the suplex! Bowens fires body shots, but Rush still fights! Bowens whisp Rush into more railing! Rush flops down, Bowens refreshes the ring count, and Collision goes picture in picture.
Bowens storms over to Rush, drags him up, and sits him in the corner. Bowens CHOPS, CHOPS, and puts Rush in the ring. Bowens fires up with the fans, then he goes to the ring. Bowens stomps Rush, but Rush SPITS at him! Bowens snarls and SUPERKICKS Rush down! Cover, ONE! Rush toughs it out but Bowens clamps on with a chinlock, then a COBRA CLUTCH! Rush endures, even as Bowens grinds him down! Rush fights up, fights around, and fires body shots. Rush DROPKICKS Bowens into the corner! Rush snarls but he has control as Collision goes to break.
Collision returns as Bowens winds up for a mule kick, a front kick, then a FAMOUSER! Cover, TWO! Rush toughs it out but Bowens keeps his cool. Bowens drags Rush up, whips him to a corner, but Rush reverses. Rush SPLASHES, then he snapmares to basement DROPKICK! The fans fire up with Rush, and he sees Bowens go to the corner. Rush kicks Bowens, eggs him on, but Bowens bumps Rush off buckles! Bowens ROCKS and CHPOS, but then Rush puts Bowens in the corner to CHOP and CHOP! Bowens ROCKS and CHOPS and repeat! Rush guzels but Bowens breaks free to ROCK Rush! Rush hits back and the fans cheer the forearms flying!
Rush wrenches Bowens into the ANGLE SLAM! Cover, TWO! Bowens survives and Rush is furious! The fans rally as Rush rises up, and he brings Bowens around to whip to the corner. Bowens reverses, runs up, and he puts Rush in the ropes. ENZIGIRI! Then the DRAPING SIDEWINDER! Cover, TWO! Rush survives and the fans fire up again! Bowens snarls, he pounds the mat, and the fans rally. Bowens goes to a corner, takes aim at Rush, and he runs up, but into a CORNER BELLY2BELLY! Not the strongest throw, but Rush looks to add on! The fans cheer Rush as he runs corner to corner, “You mess with the bull…!”
But Bowens ELBOWS Rush first! Then Rock, Paper, Scissors, SUPERKICK! Bowens runs to SHINING WIZARD! Cover, TWO! Rush survives again and Bowens grows frustrated. Bowens runs up, but rush dodges to SNAP GERMAN! Then a SLIDING KNEE! Bowens bails out but Rush pursues! Rush whips Bowens into the railing, payback for before! And then he THROWS Bowens into railing! Rush fires body shots, KNEES, and repeat! Rush puts Bowens in, drags him to the corner, and Rush stomps away on Bowens! The ref counts, but Rush goes corner to corner for the BULL’S HORNS!! Lexy Nair is with Alex Windsor & Jamie Hayter and says they both have a big Sunday at Dynasty in separate singles matches as Windsor takes on Marina Shafir and Jamie challenges Thekla for the AEW Women’s World Championship. Tonight, they take them both on together in a tag match. Alex tells Marina that while she serves as Moxley’s little lap dog, she’ll send a message to Moxley: “Jon, Will is gonna cut the head off the snake, but first, I’m gonna chop off the ass! But don’t worry when Will breaks your neck, because I promise I will put Marina right next to you.”
Jamie tells Thekla that she must admit, Thekla’s doing pretty well for herself. Jamie honestly didn’t think Thekla would get this far! The last time they stood across the ring from each other, Jamie didn’t see some Toxic Spider or even some crazy girl, she saw a tosser who was too afraid to get hit! Now, she’ll tell you for free, Jamie will hit Thekla harder than she’s ever been hit before. So tell her, what does that title mean to you? Because to Jamie, it is her life! Alex tells Thekla and Marina to stop drinking, because they’re about to beat the piss outta you! The Birds don’t give a flying F, but will they be able to solve this toxic problem even before Dynasty?

Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin are both back at 100%, and they’re ready to take 100% of what AEW has to offer. Will the All Mighty & Standard of Excellence continue to hurt people?

On Wednesday, the deal was struck that if The Rainmaker & Alpha work together at Dynasty against The Young Bucks, Double or Nothing would see Rainmaker VS Alpha for this title. But does that mean Okada is already overlooking the third Rascal? Or will Okada use Myron to send a message to everyone, including Takeshita?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who lights it up!
Callis joins commentary and says that this match is just to tie up loose ends, and that “this green headed little punk is gonna get his ass handed to him by the great Rainmaker, Okada.” The bell rings and the fans rally for Okada as he circles with Reed. They tie up, are in a deadlock, but Okada’s height gives him the leverage. They go to the ropes, Okada lets off slowly, but then he ROCKS Reed with forearms! Okada CLUBS Reed to a corner, stomps away on him, then stops as the ref counts. Okada runs corner to corner, but Reed dodges to counter punch! And counter punch! Okada THROWS Reed to the corner, then stomps away!
Okada CLUBS Reed, then runs the ropes to LARIAT Reed up and out! Reed lands safe on the apron, though, and he dodges Okada to GUILLOTINE LEG DROP! Reed goes up, up, but Okada avoids the leap! Okada stands Reed up, bumps him off buckles, then bumps him off more buckles. Okada goes to a third corner for a third buckle bump, then flips the fans off for wanting the full set! Okada grins as he trolls the fans, and he drags Reed up. Okada ELBOWS Reed in the corner, and Collision goes to break.
Collision returns as Okada eggs Reed on, daring him to take a shot. Reed fires a forearm, but then Okada kicks low and DDTS hard! Cocky cover, ONE! Reed is tougher than that but Okada drags him up for a scoop. Okada SLAMS Reed, goes to the corner, and he climbs up top. Standard formula says MACHO ELBOW, but onto knees! Reed gets Okada in the ghost pin, TWO! Okada kicks low, then suplexes, but into STUN-DOG MILLIONAIRE! The fans rally up while both men are down! Reed and Okada rise, Reed CLOBBERS Okada again and again! Reed whips, Okada reverses, then Okada ducks the boot!

It wasn’t easy, but The Birds managed to solve The Problem! Wait, is Marina smiling? Is she just that excited to have another fight like this with Iron Will Windsor? Will Jamie make sure Thekla gets a real taste of Hayterade? Or will Thekla make sure AEW stays toxic?
My Thoughts:
A great go-home episode of Collision, and of course they had three different post-Dynamite promo segments to add some final touches on things. Good promos from United Empire and Death Riders, and Garcia having to have the last word makes me wonder. Will Garcia try and help Moxley despite Continental Rules? Will Garcia cost Moxley the title because of that? They have yet to even tease such a thing in the history of this title and the Continental Rules, this could be the time to do it. But at the same time, Moxley VS Ospreay having a real finish, even a 20 minute time limit finish, would be more favorable for the fans.
A title change here tonight is really surprising. At the same time, Mistico was a TRIPLE champion between AEW and CMLL, so something had to give. But The Dogs turning right around to face Cassidy, Roddy, and I can only assume a returning Kyle O’Reilly, are The Dogs going to be transitional champions to The Conglomeration? That’d be pretty wild, but would also compel a renewed rivalry between Dogs and Conglomeration going towards Double or Nothing and beyond. For that matter, maybe Hurt Syndicate finding a new member is something they build towards DON, as they simply did a squash match win to get them going again.
Kris & Shida of course won their match, but this seems to be a vehicle for a feud, or at least Shida’s Heel turn. Mina and Harley had a very fun promo, especially with Harley chugging that drink. I don’t know if Mina & Harley become a duo, or they get in on the story with Kris and Shida to build up the midcard, but Mina and Harley both know how to be hilarious so this will be a lot of fun. Good promos from Maya & Hyan as well as Divine Dominion, but clearly Maya & Hyan are being fed to Megan & Lena to build their reign. Though, it is wild to think Maya & Hyan are getting this moment at all from the great work they’re doing in ROH.
Rush VS Bowens was great stuff, especially for Bowens bringing out his aggression, but Rush winning out was a given. I really do mean it when I say Ciampa and Rush could just be the TNT Championship match on its own, but the Casino Gauntlet will be a lot of fun, as it always is. Not sure what’s going on with “Bowens wants to be in The Opps” since we haven’t seen Hook in a minute. And that Acclaimed reunion slow burn went ice cold, not sure why TK didn’t/hasn’t see the road ahead for it. He could even be using The Opps as part of it, where Caster is also trying to prove he has ruthless aggression. But just as they’d been teasing before, Caster and Bowens would see they’re better together, no one else needed, and boom, Acclaimed is back!
The Bucks VS Clon y Hechi was a great match, perhaps better than it needed to be, but that’s also par for the course with AEW. Okada VS Reed was also great, but sadly a forgone conclusion when they gave us that deal within The Don Callis Family. Bucks have momentum, Okada has momentum, Konosuke has momentum, the tag match could go either way, but all with the purpose of building Okada VS Takeshita. And great main event tag from Brawling Birds VS Thekla & Windsor. Marina taking the loss protects Thekla, but I feel she’ll find a way to retain against Jamie. Marina VS Windsor can go either way, since it’s non-title and is kinda more about the larger Death Riders story.
