The Mad King disrespected the Decoder by calling him the Blackpool Combat Club’s “young boy b*tch,” so the ROH Pure Champion wants to take all those belts away! Will Yuta make history by being a QUADRUPLE CHAMPION? Or will Eddie just sweep the BCC within a two month stretch?

The introductions are made, THREE belts are raised, and we see who leaves home with them after tonight!

The bell rings and fans fire up for Eddie. Eddie and Yuta circle, feel things out, but then Yuta dodges and steps outside. The fans boo but Eddie waits. Yuta rushes in but Eddie is ready, so Yuta stays back. The two tie up, Eddie waistlocks but Yuta pries at the grip. The fans chant “Let’s Go Eddie!” “YUTA SUCKS!” so either way, they’re on Eddie’s side. Yuta switches, Eddie switches back, but Yuta drop toeholds and floats to a facelock. Eddie rolls free, wrenches and grinds the shoulder. Yuta endures, fights up, but Eddie chinbars. Yuta drop toeholds again to have an ankle lock, but Eddie grabs the ROPEBREAK.

The ref counts, Yuta lets off quickly and he talks trash. Eddie stands up, he and Yuta reset, and they knuckle lock. Yuta rolls, wrangles Eddie to the mat with a top wristlock, but the fans boo. Yuta grabs Eddie’s other arm for a modified straitjacket, then he shifts to a cover. TWO, but Yuta facelocks. Eddie has the ROPEBREAK, but Yuta lets off at 4. The fans rally, Eddie and Yuta reset again, and they tie up. Eddie goes for an arm, wrenches through but Yuta rolls, handsprings and slips around to roll Eddie up. ONE, but Yuta facelocks, so Eddie has the ROPEBREAK again. Yuta lets off to scuff Eddie!

Eddie scowls as he stands up, and Yuta pie faces him! Eddie fires off palm strikes and a KICK! Yuta hobbles, Eddie storms up, but Yuta scurries away. Eddie still goes after Yuta but Yuta throws him to the outside! Yuta then DIVES and sends Eddie into the railing! Yuta pushes Eddie into the ring, blocks the Uraken, and wrenches to an ELBOW BREAKER! Eddie staggers away, Yuta goes up, and Yuta CROSSBODIES! Cover, TWO! Eddie is still in this and the fans boo Yuta, but Yuta runs corner to corner. Eddie dodges the elbow to MACHINE GUN CHOP! Fans fire up and Eddie tops it off with one more CHOP!

Fans fire up, but Yuta ELBOWS back, then he reels Eddie in! TORNADO ARMBAR DDT! Yuta wraps the arm around ropes, pulls on it, then BITES Eddie’s ear! The ref counts, Yuta lets off, and fans boo while Eddie bails out. Yuta storms out after Eddie while the fans rally for Eddie. Eddie CHOPS Yuta! Yuta SMACKS the bad arm off the apron! Then he throws Eddie into railing! Yuta SLAMS the arm against the railing! Eddie hobbles to a corner, Yuta refreshes the ring count, and then Yuta stomps Eddie down. Eddie COHPS! Yuta ROCKS Eddie, they go up to the ramp, and Eddie CHOPS! Yuta DROPKICKS the bad arm!

Eddie falls over, Yuta refreshes the ring count again, and Yuta drags Eddie by the bad arm. Yuta isolates the arm to STOMP it! Eddie hurries back into the ring but Yuta pursues. Yuta wraps the arm around ropes, climbs up and he BITES Eddie’s face! The ref counts, the fans boo, but Yuta stands on Eddie to then STOMP him down! Yuta drags Eddie from the corner, covers, TWO! Eddie is hanging tough but Yuta grabs the arms for a motorcycle stretch! The fans boo, Eddie endures, and Eddie fights up. The fans rally for Eddie, he fights to his feet, and he powers free to arm-drag Yuta! Yuta DROPKICKS Eddie back down!

Fans boo more but Yuta covers, ONE!! Yuta keeps after Eddie’s bad arm but Eddie resists the torque while Rampage goes picture in picture.

Eddie smacks Yuta and Yuta staggers away. But then Yuta comes back to basement dropkick Eddie down! Yuta storms up on Eddie but Eddie stands to CHOP! Yuta wrenches to ELBOW BREAKER! And ELBOW BREAKER! But Eddie uses that to get a SLEEPER! Eddie drops back with body scissors! Yuta endures, fights around, reaches out, ROPEBREAK! The ref counts, Eddie lets go, and Yuta stomps him. Yuta kicks Eddie around, Eddie throws chops to the leg. Yuta mocks Eddie with faking the pain, and then he stomps Eddie more. Eddie still throws chops into Yuta’s leg, then a CHOP to Yuta’s stomach!

Yuta actually feels that one and he backs off. Only to come back and basement dropkick again! Rampage returns to single picture while fans boo. Yuta sneers while he looms over Eddie. Yuta drags Eddie around by his bad arm, then bends the elbow and twists the wrist! Eddie endures, but Yuta isolates that arm to STOMP it again! Eddie is frustrated and the fans boo, but Yuta just goes after the arm again. Another STOMP, and Yuta sends Eddie rolling to a corner. Yuta mocks the fans for cheering Eddie, then pushes the ref aside so he can drag Eddie up. Yuta wrenches, arm-drags, and then drops knees on the arm!

Yuta digs his knee into the elbow, then twists that elbow and wrist. Eddie fights to his feet, but Yuta hits an ARMBAR CODE BREAKER! Cover, TWO! Yuta stalks Eddie and mockingly kicks him in the back. Eddie scowls while Yuta eggs him on with more mocking kicks. Eddie stands, Yuta SLAPS him! So Eddie CHOPS, snapmares, and KICKS! Fans fire up as Eddie CHOPS Yuta down! And KICKS him! And CHOPS! But Yuta blocks a chop to WRING the arm out! Fans boo but Yuta shakes his head. Eddie sits up as the fans rally, and Yuta brings Eddie up to SLAP him again! Eddie stares Yuta down, blocks the next chop, and clinches! OVERHEAD BELLY2BELLY!

Fans fire up as both men are down! Yuta goes to a corner, Eddie runs in, but Yuta dodges! Eddie hits buckles arm first! But Eddie still puts Yuta on the apron! Yuta blocks Eddie’s haymaker, then climbs up to CROSS- NO! Eddie catches Yuta for an EXPLODER! Eddie clutches his arm, that still took a lot to do. The standing count starts again but both men are to corners at 4 of 10. Eddie stands, Yuta runs in, but into a kitchen sink knee and DDT! Cover, TWO! Yuta is still in this and Eddie grows frustrated. Eddie shakes out the bad arm, Yuta crawls to a corner, and the fans rally up again. Eddie runs up but Yuta BOOTS him!

Yuta goes up a corner, reels Eddie in, but Eddie fights free to CHOP, CHOP and CHOP! Eddie shakes the bad arm out, fans want more, so Eddie says here’s more! CHOP! Yuta wobbles, Eddie climbs up after him, but Yuta pulls on the arm! Yuta hits a SUPER DDT!! Cover, ROPEBREAK!! Eddie survives and Yuta is beside himself! Yuta drags Eddie to the center, sits him up, and rains down HAMMER ‘N’ ANVIL ELBOWS! Fans boo and Eddie grits his teeth. Yuta just throws down harder and harder elbows! Eddie fades, Yuta puts on an ARMBAR!! Eddie fights around, but ends up in a DISARMER!!

Eddie endures, bites his other hand to ignore the pain in his right arm! Eddie fights around, reaches out, and ROPEBREAK!! The fans fire up but Yuta yanks Eddie away! Backstage interview with Mark Briscoe & The Hardy Boyz.

Renee Paquette is with Mark, Matt & Jeff, and says we saw this trio formed last week and the fans love it. Will we see more of this in the future? Mark says, “If the union that has sent reverberations around the globe, The Hardy Boyz & Big Chicken himself, hey! We kicked some ass, we took some names, and I got a good feeling that we ain’t done yet.” Jeff says not only did they kick ass in the ring, they kicked ass in the ratings. Rampage beat Collision in viewership, the demo, and all other categories! Mark says block out the hatin’ when you rockin’ the ratings!

Matt says damn right! And the Hardys wanna win the AEW World Tag titles, but hey, maybe there’s AEW World Trios titles in their future, too. Matt says the reason he and Jeff have so much respect for Mark is because when the Hardys faced the Briscoes, the Briscoes brought it like no one else. The living legends respect Mark, and they will give him a gift! Matt shakes Mark’s hands, and Jeff puts a Hardy necklace on Mark. Mark is one of them! And brother, if there’s anybody that wants a party of this trio, come find “The Brethren,” and they’ll whip your ass! Mark is a bit surprised by this, but he gets just as fired up! Swerve Strickland w/ Prince Nana VS Matt Sydal!

The Realest has made his AEW World Championship intentions known during the Continental Classic, and did so again last Wednesday on Dynamite, right to Samoa Joe’s face. But Joe himself said it’s about proving yourself worthy, so will Swerve do just that here? Or will the #ZenAssassin storm right through whose house?

The bell rings and the fans rally for Swerve. Swerve and Sydal circle, tie up, and Swerve claws at Sydal to put him on ropes. Swerve then throws Sydal away and grins. Sydal gets up in a huff, he and Swerve go again. Swerve whips, but Sydal RANAS! Swerve handsprings through and grins again. But Sydal rolls him up! TWO, and Sydal fakes high to go low. Swerve doesn’t fall for the takedown and steps over to Oklahoma Roll, TWO! Sydal runs up and around, tilt-o-whirls to roll-up and bridge, TWO! Sydal stays close and clinches, but Swerve whips him away. Swerve then scoops Sydal for a BACKBREAKER!

Fans fire up while Nana leads them in “Whose house?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Swerve bumps Sydal off buckles, whips him corner to corner, and UPPERCUTS! Swerve snapmares, goes up the corner, and he FALLING UPPERCUTS! Sydal writhes while Swerve hits the Griddy. Fans cheer and Swerve goes back for Sydal. Swerve drags Sydal up into a chinlock, then a torture rack. Sydal endures being bent back, but then Swerve RACK BACKBREAKERS! Swerve holds onto Sydal to stand up again, and hit a RACK BACKBREAKER DROP! Fans cheer whiel Swerve flexes and Sydal writhes. Swerve covers, TWO!

Swerve stays cool while Sydal crawls. Swerve drags Sydal up to CLUB him down. Swerve then ROCKS Sydal in the back! Nana says take his spine out! Swerve pops Sydal up but Sydal RANAS! Swerve ends up on ropes, Sydal JUMP KNEES him! Swerve blocks a kick, slips around and hits a BACKBREAKER! Swerve runs, but Sydal ducks the boot to spin and ROUNDHOUSE! Swerve wobbles, Sydal headlocks and tucks, AIR RAID CRASH! Cover, TWO! Swerve is still in this and Sydal grows frustrated. Nana coaches Swerve up, but Sydal QUESTION- NO, Swerve ducks the kick and shoves, to then somersault FLATLINER!

Swerve rolls through and deadlifts for the BRAINBUSTER! Sydal sputters, Swerve revels in the cheers, and he goes up the corner. Swerve takes aim, for the KILL- NO, Sydal dodges! Swerve blocks the roundhouse but Sydal uses that to victory roll! Swerve blocks it and uses the tights to get Sydal back up, into the J M L DRIVER!! Cover, Swerve wins!

Renee is now with Action Andretti & The Martin brothers, and she says we saw Dante in singles action against Orange Cassidy. The International Championship match didn’t go his way, but the trio has had great success. Where are they planning on going from here? But before they can answer, Private Party walks in all fired up. They high-five Renee and Dante says this is the second time Private Party’s interrupted them. Not that they aren’t happy to see Marq Quen back or anything. How’s the shoulder feeling? Quen asks how Dante’s leg is feeling. Darius calms things down, and Isiah tells Dante to chill. “Coco” (Action), you chill out, too.

Kassidy says Private Party is about that action. So any two of Top Flight can get it, anywhere, anytime. Y’all pick. Darius says run it. Action says no words, all Action. Then he SPEED CHUGS! Kassidy points out saying “no words,” was like four words. Whatever, he’s hydrated. Private Party heads out, when and where will we see them finally back in action?

However, the Queen of Guinea is in her own title chase in ROH with the Women’s World Television Championship still up for grabs. Who makes big strides towards their golden goal here tonight?

The bell rings and the fans rally as Shida and Aminata circle. They tie up, go around, and Aminata puts Shida against the ropes. The ref counts, Aminata lets off and the two reset. They tie up, Shida headlocks, but Aminata powers out. They RAM shoulders, and fans cheer as neither falls. Shida shoves Aminata so Aminata says okay. Aminata swings, Shida dodges and runs, to then run Aminata over! Fans fire up with Shida and she brings Aminata up. Shida bumps Aminata off buckles, climbs up, and fans fire up as Shida rains down fists! Shida goes all the way to TEN, then she shouts, “I’m BACK~!” Fans cheer, and Shida whips Aminata corner to corner.

Shida runs in, Aminata dodges to ROCK Shida! Aminata sits Shida down, fans rally up, and Aminata goes corner to corner, to HIP ATTACK! Then side to side, to BOOT WASH! Shida flops to the apron and fans duel. Aminata lets off of Shida’s face as Rampage goes picture in picture.

Aminata storms out after Shida and pursues to the floor. Aminata brings Shida around, CHOPS her against the apron, and Shida staggers away. Aminata pursues, brings Shida around, and CLUBS her before a snap suplex to the floor! Aminata stalks Shida, drags her back up, and puts her back in the ring. Aminata covers, TWO! Shida is still in this but Aminata covers again, TWO! Aminata is frustrated, she drags Shida up but Shida fires a forearm! Aminata eggs Shida on, then ROCKS her with a forearm! Aminata grimaces as she clutches her chest. She drags Shida up, puts her against ropes, and CHOPS as Rampage goes to break.

Rampage returns and both women are down. The standing count rises, but both women stand at 7! Shida fires forearms on Aminata, then winds up, but Aminata catches her to cravat and snapmare. Then KICK in the back! Shida grits her teeth, she kicks low, then snampares to KICK Aminata in the back! Shida then sits down, daring Aminata to give her another! Fans fire up and Aminata says bet. She KICKS Shida, then sits down! Shida KICKS Aminata, and gets her in the head! Aminata is mad now, and she stands up as Shida sits. Aminata pulls hair to KICK, KICK, and KICK! Then Aminata runs to PENALTY- NO, Shida blocks!

Shida stands up to DRAGON SCREW! Shida then suplexes high and hard! Cover, TWO! But Shida has the ANKLE LOCK! Aminata endures, moves around, rolls free, but Shida ROCKS her! Aminata shakes that off to ROCK Shida! And HEADBUTT! And GERMAN SUPLEX! Fans fire up but Shida’s right up! Hammerlock LARIAT! Fans fire up with Shida while Aminata sputters. Renee is with Saraya and Ruby Soho, and she wishes the Runaway a belated happy birthday. Things didn’t go their way on Dynamite, but it does seem like the team is gelling again, with help from the addition of Harley Cameron. Saraya says yes, but there is a reason Harley isn’t here right now. Saraya apologizes but she has to show Ruby something, this is going to be heartbreaking. But Saraya is sharing this because she loves Ruby and wants the best for her. Saraya shares video footage of Harley talking with Angelo Parker, flirting with him, and then they kiss?! Saraya says she doesn’t wanna say “I told you so,” but…

Parker walks in singing Happy Birthday and holding out a cake! Ruby SHOVES it in Parker’s face and tells him to go to Hell! Parker asks what is going on, and Saraya says “I always win.” Parker sees the video, and he does his best to explain, but Saraya and even Renee hurry after Ruby. The footage continues and Parker SHOVES Harley away! He was upset at Harley, and now he’s upset with himself! How can Parker win Ruby back when Saraya is always two moves ahead?

Six Man Tag: The Dark Order w/ Negative One VS Matthew Menard, Angelo Parker & Jake Hager!

The late, great Mr. Brodie Lee led Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds & John Silver, and many others, when The Dark Order was at its prime. But now, hoping to honor his memory, they stand together against the former Jericho Appreciation Society. Will they win this one for Brodie with Brodie Jr back by their side?

The teams sort out, Johnny Hungy starts against Cool Hand Ange, who is of course still covered in cake frosting. Silver asks what happened there, but Parker doesn’t wanna talk about it. The two circle, tie up, and go around. Silver wrenches, wristlocks, and brings Parker to a knee, to then wipe some frosting off and give it a taste! Not bad. Parker gets away, even more frustrated than before. He kicks Silver low, headlocks, but Silver powers up and out. Parker runs Silver over, Hager & Menard fire up, and Hager holds out the gold chains. Parker puts them on and he fires up! Parker then turns around, and Silver runs him over!

Silver takes the chain and puts it on! Fans cheer as Silver swaggers around, but Hager tags in. Silver dodges Hager, but Hager BOOTS him down! Hager BLASTS Uno & Reynolds, too, and that fires Negative One up. Hager takes his chains back, stands Silver up and tags in Daddy Magic. They whip and run Silver over, and fans are torn as Menard bumps Silver off buckles. Menard stands Silver up but Silver CHOPS Menard! Menard ROCKS Silver, scoops him, but Silver slips free. Reynolds tags in, Silver dodges Menard and Reynolds runs side to side to ELBOW him! Reynolds keeps moving, and he UPPERCUTS Menard down!

Parker runs up, he kicks low and whips. Reynolds tags Uno then hurdles Parker. Reynolds holds ropes, Uno waistlocks Parker, BIG GERMAN SUPLEX! Parker tumbles out, Reynolds BLASTS Hager, then clotheslines Menard! Silver clotheslines Menard! Uno ELBOWS Menard, then feeds him to the FLAPJACK UPPERCUT! Fans fire up with Dark Order as they pose, and Rampage goes picture in picture.

Uno eggs the X-JAS on while those three regroup. The ref counts, X-JAS argues this out, and Menard storms back in. Uno tags Reynolds and Menard tells him he’s gonna get a taste of Hager! Tag to Hager, he kicks Reynolds low and bumps him off buckles. Hager hoists Reynolds up to then run with him, and SPINEBUSTER! Hager paces, drags Reynolds up, and then hits a BIG back suplex! Hager BLASTS Uno and Silver, then storms back up on Reynolds to CHOKE him on the ropes. The ref counts, Hager lets off, but Menard gets a cheap shot in! hager storms up on Reynolds to fire off body shots.

Hager whips Reynolds corner to corner, runs in, but Reynolds puts him on the apron. Hager slips and smacks off the apron, then hobbles back up. Hager glares at Negative One but the kid puts up his dukes! The ref tells Negative One not back off, and Reynolds DIVES onto Hager! Hager almost ends up in the front row! Parker runs up, as does Menard, but Reynolds fights them both off with haymakers! The ref reprimands, Reynolds hits Hager some, but Menard & Parker FLAPJACK Reynolds off the apron! Hager then CLOBBERS Reynolds! The X-JAS stand over Reynolds, talk some trash, then Hager puts Reynolds in the ring.

Hager looms over Reynolds, drags him over and tags in Parker. Parker stomps Reynolds’ leg, stomps the other leg, then stomps an arm. Parker stomps Reynolds’ face, covers, TWO! Parker throws down elbows, drags Reynolds up and tags in Menard. They mug Reynolds, Menard puts Reynolds in an open corner, but Reynolds fights back! Menard ROCKS Reynolds, whips him corner to corner hard, and Reynolds falls over. Menard fires up, he tags Parker back in, and Parker stomps Reynolds. Parker drags Reynolds up, snap suplexes and covers, TWO! Parker clamps on with a chinlock but Reynolds endures.

Rampage returns to single picture and the fans rally up. Reynolds fights up, gets loose, dodges Parker and hot tags Uno! Fans fire up as Uno rallies on the X-JAS! He blocks Parker’s boot, gives it to the ref and hits a NECKBREAKER! Parker stands, into a BOOT! Uno keeps moving, he goes to the apron and climbs the corner, to SWANTON BOMB on Parker! Cover, TWO!! Parker survives but the fans are with Uno! Uno pays tribute to Brodie, but Parker ROCKS him first! Silver tags in, he runs up on Parker and fires forearms. Silver whips, ROCKS Parker at the ropes, then KICKS! And KICKS! And another whip!

Parker holds ropes, he puts Silver on the apron, and ROCKS him! Parker runs to the corner but Silver intercepts with a GAMANGIRI! Silver then CANNONBALLS to take out Hager, then he UPPERCUTS Menard! Fans fire up while Dark Order TOSSES Menard out. Silver tags Reynolds in, but the whole Dark Order gets Parker again. Reynolds suplexes, Uno helps hold Parker up, and Silver’s on the top rope. But Menard YANKS Silver down!

Parker fights free, sends Reynolds into Uno and Menard dumps Uno out! Hot tag to Hager! The X-JAS get Reynolds up, DOUBLE DDT to Hager’s HAGER BOMB!! Cover, TWO!!! Reynolds survives and the fans fire up! Hager grabs a leg, ANKLE LOCK! Reynolds flails, but Negative One HAS THE HAT!! Hager glare sat Negative One as he PUTS IT ON~! Menard & Parker chase Negative One, but Uno DOUBLE LARIATS them down! Hager still snatches the hat off Negative One’s head! Hager tells him to not touch the hat! Silver SPLASHES in the corner and the hat goes flying! Negative One grabs it, and puts it back on!

Meanwhile, Silver fires off the kicks, and feeds Hager to the WOMBO COMBO! DOUBLE BRIDGE, DARK ORDER WINS!!

Fans are thunderous as Negative One celebrates with his guys! The purple hat fits their color scheme better anyway. But will The Dark Order look to finally rebuild and add some gold to the collection?

My Thoughts:

A great Rampage here, a really stuffed hour of both action and story. Good promo from Top Flight with Private Party to set up that match, though I thought we were getting Private Party VS Hardys first. Maybe Tony Khan is calling an audible so that Private Party and Hardys can be closer to Revolution or something. But really good promo from the Hardys with them kinda forcing Mark to be an honorary Hardy. It seems to add to the sorta two-faced character change we’re getting with the Hardys, given how they talked down to Private Party and then really buttered Mark up. Feels like the Trio is gonna fall apart, though, so that the Hardys can go full “You should love us!” Heels.

Another part of that promo that I liked was Jeff kinda forgetting Rampage is kayfabe live when he was comparing Rampage to Collision. But he does have a point, Rampage is the prerecorded show and Collision is live. However, I feel like Rampage getting better ratings says more about Collision than Rampage. Collision’s just not in a good spot being on a Saturday, where people either want to be out and doing stuff, or are just watching other stuff. WWE putting their big events on Saturdays is part of the problem, as I myself skipped Collision when it was up against Survivor Series. And even tomorrow night, Collision (and Battle of the Belts) will have to compete with NJPW having an event in San Jose, and NFL starting Wild Card weekend (even if tomorrow is the Peacock exclusive game).

But moving on from Collision’s struggles, good promo from The Outcasts to reveal Saraya’s plan. Classic “she kissed him, he didn’t kiss her” trap that Ruby falls for, it’s going to be interesting to see how Parker gets through to Ruby. Really good Six Man Tag between X-JAS and Dark Order, but of course Dark Order wins. Just as Anna Jay and Preston Vance won on Dynamite to honor Brodie, the Dark Order wins here. Really hoping Tony Khan figures out how to get Dark Order going again after he already had them “revitalize” via ROH. And just as I expected from Dynamite, Anna and Vance are each getting title matches, but I sadly doubt either defeats Julia Hart or Orange Cassidy.

Great match for Swerve VS Sydal, but of course Swerve was winning so he’ll have momentum in his story with Samoa Joe and Hangman Page. Great match for Shida VS Aminata, Aminata is truly coming into her own, and she’s definitely a shoe-in for the ROH Women’s TV title tournament. And great Continental Crown match to open the night, but of course Eddie wins here. For one, Yuta isn’t going to be carrying around four belts all at once. And I think I understand now thanks to Excalibur on commentary that when you say “Continental Crown,” that is all three belts, the ROH World, NJPW Strong Openweight and AEW Continental Championships. If you leave out “Crown,” then it is just for the one belt.

I’m still hoping Eddie gets to show up on ROH TV or NJPW Strong to help build some stories on those brands, especially after he had that promo about champions needing to be the rising tide that lifts everyone up and all that. I haven’t been keeping up with NJPW Strong, but I can say from watching ROH, ROH still needs to build up contenders that feel worthy, but it’d still be nice if Eddie shows up just to be on commentary and watch the guys wanting after the title.
