Renee Paquette is with Saraya and Ruby Soho, they’re arguing about the footage of Harley Cameron and Angelo Parker, and while Ruby is upset with Saraya for bringing Harley around, Saraya says she didn’t realize Harley was some floozy! Renee calms it all down and asks what’s going on, but then Harley walks up from the background. Saraya tries to wave Harley off while saying Ruby’s just a bit paranoid, only for Ruby to run up on Harley! Ruby grabs Harley by the neck and asks why Parker of all people! It was to help Ruby! WHAT!? Help her?! Are you kidding!? Saraya signals to Harley, and Harley says it was… Anna Jay’s idea.

What?! Yeah, Anna told Harley to make a move on Parker. Saraya says that makes perfect sense! So Ruby can just let Harley go. Saraya says Anna would do something like this, given how Ruby screwed her over once. But now Ruby has no reason to be mad at Harley since Harley’s just doing what she’s supposed to. Supposed to? Y-yeah! From Anna! What Anna said! They’ll figure this out. Ruby storms off, Saraya tells Renee not to look at her like that. The gaslighting continues, but will Ruby see through the lies soon enough?

The Galaxy’s Greatest is still in the title hunt, as is the Queen of Guinea, and both are still chasing down golden opportunities. Stokely is fired up for that win! He gets in the ring to raise Kris’ hand in celebration, but then cools off to offer a fist bump. Kris says nope, and Stokely accepts that. Will Stokely somehow win Kris over? Or will Kris just win a title like she did the last time: on her own?

Jay Lethal talks with Sonjay Dutt & Satnam Singh backstage.

Lethal is getting fed up with this. Where are Jeff & Karen Jarrett? The cameraman’s here, this the time they agreed on, so what’s going on? Sonjay says this is the best he could do, so let’s just get to it. Lethal says it’s actually better Jeff isn’t here, because now he can say what he wants without interruption. He has to say, he isn’t sure how much more he can take. Deep down, Lethal wants to get back to what this company was built on, and that is great in-ring action. Lethal can’t do that in this group, there’s too much hokey crap going on! Sonjay says he has an idea! He picks up what Lethal’s putting down. They eject KAREN from the group!

Satnam says whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on, now. Karen’s the best leader of this group. Kick Jeff out and keep Karen. What?! Keep Karen? Sonjay can’t believe that! He and Satnam argue in Punjabi, but Lethal tells them no, stop! This is what he means! They’re arguing over stupid stuff! It’s ridiculous! Lethal came here to win gold, and he thought it was tag titles, but maybe it’s just singles titles. Cuz he doesn’t know how much more of this he can take. Lethal storms off, Sonjay wants him to hold on! Is Lethal about to leave the entire group behind so he can focus on himself?

Backstage interview with Kris Statlander, and Stokely Hathaway, too.

Renee is with Kris and Stoke as she notes the big win for Kris tonight. But can’t help but notice that Stokely was ringside for it. What is this? Kris says don’t even remind her, but then Stokely says the people were going nuts out there! Willow Nightingale hurries over, feeling awful for missing the match. Kris asks what happened, is Willow okay? Yes, but for some reason, her flight got cancelled. It did? Was it the weather? No, the flight happened, but she couldn’t get on it because someone cancelled her ticket. O-Oh? Stokely has no idea how that happened, but he says if Willow’s supposedly Kris’ best friend, she wouldn’t have been on Soul Plane.

Willow can’t even with Stokely, she was gonna be in Kris’ corner instead! Stokely says not to talk to him like that, he’s on the Board of Directors! Kris shouts them both down with “Shut up, shut up, SHUT UP! We are going to figure this out.” Stokely asks if he’s part of “we,” and Willow also can’t believe Kris is giving him a chance. Kris heads out, what is going to happen with this not-a-trio trio?

Darby Allin VS Jeff Hardy!

Back in May 2022, these two daredevils truly escalated things during the inaugural Owen Hart Memorial Tournament, and now are looking to run it back! This isn’t Anything Goes like it was back then, but the ref has been told to, *ahem*, “let ’em play” on this one. What will the Relentless One and the Charismatic Enigma get up to now that they are on a Rampage?

The bell rings and the fans duel, “HARDY!” “DARBY!” Darby and Hardy stare down, then circle. The fans rally up, the two approach, and Hardy offers fist bumps. Darby accepts, but then Hardy SLAPS him!? Hardy does his dance, but Darby SHOTGUNS him down! Hardy bails out, Darby goes up, and he SUPER CANNONBALLS! Direct hit and Darby puts Hardy in! Cover, TWO! Hardy bails out again while Darby snarls. Darby rolls out after Hardy but Hardy DECKS him! Hardy has commentary move aside, and he TOSSES Darby over the desk! Darby tumbles into an armchair, then Hardy throws the desk hood at him!

The ref reprimands and checks Darby. Darby’s good to go so Hardy RAMS him into railing! The ref says to get this in the ring but Hardy stalks Darby. Hardy goes up to the apron, does his dance again, then FLYING LARIATS to take Darby down! Fans fire up and both men slowly rise. The ref keeps this “loose” but not starting a ring count. Hardy lines up the steel steps and gets some space. Hardy runs in, leaps off the steps, but only gets railing as Darby moves! Fans fire up and Darby drags Hardy up! “This is Awesome!” as Darby makes Hardy take a seat in a chair. Darby SLAPS Hardy over and over, then gets back in the ring.

Darby builds speed and he DIVES into just the chair!! Hardy avoids disaster so only Darby crashes ‘n’ burns at the ramp! “This is Awesome!” as the ref checks Darby again. Darby is somehow still in this, and Hardy grabs the mangled chair. Hardy uses the chair to help him stand as Rampage goes picture in picture.

Hardy hobbles over to Darby, CLUBS him on the back, then CLUBS him again. Hardy pushes the mangled chair aside, hauls Darby up and into the ring, and then chucks the mangled chair into the steel steps. Hardy rolls into the ring while Darby crawls to the far corner. Hardy unzips the shirt to then SHOTGUN Darby to the apron! Darby crawls back into the ring, goes to another corner, but Hardy storms up to SHOTGUN again! Darby still crawls around, but Hardy says “DELETE! OBSOLETE!” Hardy storms up on Darby again, bumps him off buckles, then bumps him off buckles again and again and again!

Fans chant “DELETE! DELETE!” as Hardy dribbles Darby over and over! Hardy then lets off to basement dropkick! Darby sputters while Hardy rolls away. Hardy himself is sore, but he still brings Darby up. Darby throws body shots but Hardy CLUBS him down! Hardy drags Darby up to bump him off buckles, then throws body shots! But Darby turns it around and he fires off CHOPS on Hardy! Darby claws at Hardy’s face, lets off as the ref counts, then goes corner to corner to COFFIN SPLASH! Both men fall over but Darby grits his teeth as he crawls over to Hardy. Hardy throws body shots now, then snapmares Darby for a chinlock.

Hardy grinds Darby down, bringing this match to a surprisingly technical aspect. Darby endures, reaches up at Hardy and stands to his feet. Hardy thrashes the hold, CLUBS Darby on the back again and again, and Rampage returns to single picture as Hardy throws Darby down. Darby sits up but Hardy hits a NECK SNAPPER! Then another! Darby clutches his shoulders, Hardy runs up to NECK SNAPPER one more time! Hardy brings Darby up to suplex, for a GOURD BUSTER! Cover, TWO! Darby is still in this and the fans rally up. Hardy stalks Darby, drags him up, and hoists him to the top rope.

Hardy ROCKS Darby with a haymaker, then climbs up. Darby pulls Hardy’s hair, and dribbles him off the buckles now! Darby then pulls Hardy’s shirt up, and CLAWS Hardy’s back! Darby then fights up to SUPER CODE RED!! Cover, TWO!! Hardy survives and the fans fire up again! The fans duel again as Darby pushes Hardy around. Hardy is in the drop zone, Darby climbs up a corner, but Hardy crawls to the ropes. Darby simply adjusts, aiming for the apron! But Hardy gets up to CLUB Darby first! Hardy CLUBS Darby again, then again! Hardy brings Darby out along the top rope, for a DRAPING APRON NECKBREAKER!!!

The fans lose their minds as both men hit the apron hard and tumble to the floor! The ref checks both men, and both men are somehow still in this! Hardy stands, and he goes looking under the ring! The ref says the rules were relaxed, not thrown away! But Hardy still sets up a TABLE! The fans fire up for that, and Hardy refreshes the ring count. Hardy POSTS Darby, then brings him around to the table. Hardy puts Darby on the wood, throws down hands and even a HEADBUTT! Hardy throws off the shirt and the fans fire up! Hardy says “DELETE! DELETE!” and the fans join in as Hardy climbs the corner!

Hardy aims, SUPER SWANTON BOMB, BUT DARBY MOVES! Hardy crashes through the table!! The fans lose their minds and the ref clears the wreckage! Darby is still down, that escape perhaps a last gasp. Wait, Darby comes back, he drags Hardy up to put him in the ring, and then climbs a corner! COFFIN DROP onto knees!! Hardy had enough left to save himself! The fans rally as both men crawl to the ropes, then drag themselves up. The fans are thunderous as Hardy and Darby hobble up to each other, and Hardy kicks first! TWIST- NO, Darby slips free, jackknife to the prawn hold! DARBY WINS!!

Winner: Darby Allin, by pinfall

A wild match between two wild ones, and yet it was a blink-of-an-eye technical hold that finished it! Darby offers the fist bump back to Hardy, and Hardy steps forward. Hardy reaches out, then decides to leave Darby hanging! Darby is rather confused by this change of character, what is going on with The Hardy Boyz these days? As for Darby, he wants to get those AEW World Tag Team Championships alongside Sting, will this win go a long way towards that?

My Thoughts:

A great Rampage here, with only singles matches, a rather rare thing. While I didn’t think Jericho sticking around was a good idea given those allegations, he and Sydal had a great match to open the night. Callis was good on commentary, and of course Jericho won going into another rematch with the Don Callis Family. And of course, we also got Takeshita attacking Jericho to make it more clear we’re getting another rematch. Again, kinda hoping to get the return of Paul Wight to also settle things with Hobbs.

Really good match from Penta VS Henry but of course Penta won. Really good promo from The Outcasts, and of course Saraya starts by throwing Harley under the bus, only to then get Harley to rat someone else out. So much for Anna leaving the X-JAS behind to join the Outcasts, but at the same time, we could end up getting Ruby & Anna VS Saraya & Harley after Ruby finds out it’s been Saraya against Ruby’s relationship with Angelo Parker all along. And great match from Kris VS Aminata, with Stokely ringside for Kris, of course. And of course Stokely was pulling strings in an effort to split Kris and Willow up. Just not sure what the endgame for that story is, though.

Really good promo from Lethal, Sonjay and Satnam, and I think the right move is expelling both Jeff & Karen Jarrett from the group. But as it stands, I’m thinking Lethal has a match with Double J to decide his fate. Lethal wins so that he can break away from the group, then he gets going after singles titles. Just not sure the chances of him winning one with all these different stories going on, like Undisputed Kingdom wanting belts and Edge chasing down Christian Cage. And then awesome stuff in the main event, as expected from Darby and Hardy. Clever finish for it to be the prawn hold, not a finisher, and Hardy being upset serves the story of the Hardy Boys’ Heel personas.

My Score: 8.7/10
