MJF is here!

Buffalo, New York fires up as the Wolf of Wrestling makes his way to the ring, mic already in hand. MJF has them cut his music, and he revels in the fans cheering him on. MJF tells Buffalo- Wait! Daniel Garcia makes his way out here! Buffalo fires up even more for their hometown hero! Garcia steps into the ring, gets his own mic, and MJF smirks as the fans cheer on “DANNY! DANNY! DANNY!” MJF says he’s glad the people love Danny, but uh, tread lightly, okay? Garcia tells Max thanks for saving him last week. But since they’re out here in Buffalo, New York, Garcia says everything here is his business.

Garcia says he isn’t sure why MJF is out here. It might be to say some mean things about the city Garcia’s from. And maybe since Garcia interrupted, MJF might say mean things about him and his family. Mom’s right here in the front row. But Garcia is out here to do something what no one in the back has ever been able to do. Garcia is gonna say nice things about MJF! Even MJF is surprised to hear that. Garcia says nine months ago, he wasn’t doing a whole lot, but he was watching MJF every single week. MJF was the longest reigning, youngest ever, AEW World Champion, main eventing arenas around the world and making history.

The fans chant for “M J F! M J F!” and Garcia says MJF came over to him and had a conversation with him that lit a fire inside Garcia. MJF told Garcia that he was more than a lackey or a background character. MJF saw Garcia the same way he saw himself, and that was as a pillar of AEW. The fans cheer that! Garcia says MJF talked with Tony Khan, and Tony Khan said if Garcia could get enough wins, he could challenge MJF for the world title. The thing is, when Garcia did, it was one of the most embarrassing moments of his entire life. It wasn’t all bad, though, because that loss motivated him more than anyone could ever imagine.

That one loss helped Garcia go on the run of a lifetime, and he was part of the biggest moments, the biggest matches this company has ever seen. It motivated Garcia so much that now, he is someone the people can respect. Someone the people can believe in! And now he is contemplating, why settle for being a pillar when he can be the backbone, the workhorse, and the very foundation that the future of AEW is built on!? The fans cheer for “DANNY! DANNY!” Garcia says for all that, he wants to thank MJF. The fans cheer, and then Garcia says after saying all that, if MJF talks ish now, he’ll look real two faced, and he’ll have Buffalo coming for his head tonight.

MJF says okay, okay, hold on. First off, MJF is two faced? What? Okay, maybe a little, maybe a little. But hear him out. MJF did not come out here to talk trash on these fine people, no no no. He came out here for two reasons. One: to shamelessly shill Forbidden Door, August 30th, MJF is coming home to Long Island, baby! He wrestles a poorly drawn comic book character, Hechicero, get your tickets today! And then July 6th, he will be on the Memphis-Mississippi borderline for Collision! Get your tickets today, too. Done shilling. The fans cheer all those plugs and even Garcia gives a thumbs up.

MJF says reason two, before he was so rudely interrupted, he was gonna ask Danny to come out here anyway, because he has a question for him. But before that question, after everything Garcia said, MJF has only one thing to say to him. “Thank you.” The fans cheer as the two shake hands. MJF says no one has ever publicly talked about the nice things MJF does behind the scenes here, and he knows why. He’s not stupid. He’s a top guy in his 20s, is very rich, very handsome, and some people are very jealous. Let’s be honest! All those guys back there think they deserve their spot when the fact is, none of them are talented enough to beat him and take it.

However… MJF knows one guy who is getting closer and closer. MJF says he wants to get this straight. Garcia didn’t get the shot against the longest and greatest AEW World Champion ever–small brag–from pity. Garcia didn’t get it because he’s some multigeneration superstar. He didn’t get it because he had a friend in a high place here. And he damn sure didn’t get it because he made his name elsewhere, jumped into MJF’s company, and just expected a handout. MJF gave Garcia that match because unlike everyone else, Garcia EARNED it! The fans cheer that! MJF tells Danny that he reminds MJF a lot of MJF.

Let’s face it: two “undersized” kids, tough, cocky, arrogant, really talented, and from New York. Every morning, guys like them have to splash water in their face, look in the mirror, and remind themselves that it isn’t the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog! And these two New York Pitbulls have a whole lot of bark and a whole lot of bite! But full transparency, when MJF gave Garcia that shot at the top spot, with all due respect… MJF did whoop that scrawny little ass without breaking a sweat. The fans boo but Garcia nods. MJF smirks and says however… Since then, Garcia has grown exponentially.

Garcia is stronger, faster, cagier, smarter, and has climbed the ladder here rung by rung by busting his ass! Garcia didn’t run from the grind, he IS the grind. So it got MJF thinking now, maybe Garcia gets one more shot at the king. But not just any shot. Here’s what MJF is thinking. This is the big question and Garcia can tell MJF how he feels about it. The folks at home and here in the arena can voice their opinions, too. Daniel Garcia VS Maxwell Jacob Friedman, WEMBLEY STADIUM, ALL IN!! Garcia loves that idea! The fans chant “YES! YES! YES!” So what does Garcia say? Just look at Mama Garcia. This is huge!

But then wait! Will Ospreay makes his way out here! The fans fire up as the AEW International Champion, the Aerial Assassin, joins MJF and Garcia in the ring, a mic already in his hand. Ospreay looks between the two while the fans cheer him on. “Buffalo, stand up, lemme see those beautiful faces.” The fans cheer and Ospreay says he doesn’t mean to interrupt, but he wanted to come out here to appreciate the homeboy, Danny Garcia. This guy has made it known he wants a shot at the International Championship, and Ospreay loves how he’s been doing it.

Garcia has been getting win after win after win. Bruv, you’ve been doing it quicker than Ospreay in the bedroom. “Sorry, babe, I’m trying my best, I promise.” But in all seriousness, Ospreay appreciates Garcia is letting him get Forbidden Door out of the way. Because of Garcia’s hard work, because Ospreay appreciates him, and because Ospreay loves Buffalo, next week, Garcia has it! International Championship, Ospreay VS Garcia! But…! Let’s sweeten the deal. How about, not only will this belt be on the line, but Ospreay will even put the world championship on the line, bruv! Fans really like that idea!

Ospreay tells Garcia, “What you say we give these people the feeling?” Garcia says next week, in Chicago, Ospreay VS Garcia for all the gold, “Let’s get it!” They shake hands and MJF is a bit annoyed. Ospreay and MJF stare down now, but then Ospreay leaves. Will the Aerial Assassin be bringing both belts to the Windy City? Garcia tells MJF about All In- MJF has Garcia hold on now. Next week is a huge opportunity for him. Massive. MJF will let Garcia focus on that, and wishes him the best of luck. MJF heads out and Garcia isn’t sure what to make of that. But he still does his dance for the people! Will the potential showdown of MJF VS Garcia in Wembley be truly historic?

Swerve Strickland is watching backstage.

He can’t help but laugh. Oh, Will. Why’re you already offering title matches before Forbidden Door? Swerve says this is just like Ospreay, putting the cart before the horse. Swerve told Ospreay that he doesn’t have the strength to carry the weight of two worlds on his shoulders. But Ospreay better hold up his part of the bargain tonight as they face Gates of Agony. Ospreay has a focus problem it seems. And for Swerve, that’s not a good mindset for a world champion. Nana asks, “Whose house?” Then he sips his coffee. Will the two champions be able to work together this close to the Forbidden Door? Or will they fail to get past the Gates?

Speaking of the Owen Hart Cup, The Switchblade and the Immortal Firebird battle it out in an opening round match to build the other side of the bracket. Will White win “by order of the Bang Bang Gang?” Or will Fenix say #ANIMO to being one step closer to glory?

The Bang Bang Gang says “GUNS UP!” but the Lucha Brothers say “CERO! MIEDO!” The ref wants this all to calm down but the dueling continues. “GUNS UP!” “CERO! White snatches that one outta nowhere, and now the Bang Bang Gang returns so they can celebrate! White will await either Jeff Jarrett or the yet to be determined wild card in the next round, but wait! The Patriarchy comes out here? Christian Cage leads Mother Shayna, Nick Wayne, and Killswitch/Luchasaurus down to the ring, and Bullet Club Gold is ready to stand their ground! White stares Captain Charisma down, daring him to do something. Christian grins and backs away. The fans chant “He’s Your Father!” but White invites “dad” into the ring. The Patriarchy heads back to the back, but will they all Breath With The Switchblade?

The Young Bucks speak.

They pump up their custom Reeboks, and Nicholas says it is time to address some business. Last week, The Acclaimed, they know Nick has a temper. He gets angry, he gets mad. He brought a foreign object into the ring and The Acclaimed took advantage! That’s how they won that match. But guess what? When these titles are actually on the line, the results will be a little bit different. Matthew says it’s fine, they are still the AEW World Tag Team Champions. And The Rainmaker is still Continental Champion. After Forbidden Door, there will be a NEW TNT Champion, and his name will be Jack Perry.

But ladies and gentlemen, The Bucks have plans. In fact, here’s some BREAKING NEWS! Next week on Dynamite, The Elite have decided to insert their very own Wild Card into the Owen Hart Cup! That man will run through the tournament, get a shot at the world title, and bring it back home to The Elite, where it belongs. Then they will have all the power and all the gold. Let’s keep changing the world! Alright, let’s have a good show! Next segment! Also, tie your shoes, guys. Moron. Uh, cut? Okay, but who is this wild card The EVPs are about to deal against Double J next week?

The Acclaimed is here!

Max Caster skips doing a diss track as he’s on his way out with Anthony Bowens & Billy Gunn, because they’re gonna address some business of their own! What will Platinum Max, the Five Tool Player & Daddy Ass have to say? We find out, after the break.

Dynamite returns and Caster has the mic. The fans sing “OH~ Scissor Me, Daddy~!” Billy is having so much fun, he does a somersault! Caster then says, “Yo! Yo! YO! Listen…! Last week, The Acclaimed fought the Young Cucks, right here in this ring, and the result surprised nobody, because The People’s Choice pinned the World Tag Team Champions, and earned themselves a title shot!” The fans cheer, and Caster tells the “Young Cucks” that they were exposed for the soft ass, self important EVPs that they are! The Acclaimed proved that Matt & Nick can’t run production, can’t run the company right, and they can’t run from a fight!

“Because The Acclaimed is gettin’ up in that ass and gettin’ those titles back! And that’s a mic drop.” The fans cheer that, and Bowens takes over. Bowens says all they need to do is beat those two enema nozzles one more time! And Nick, they heard what you said, talking about cheating and all this nonsense. Don’t go making excuses, because next time, he’ll have none when they’re all face to face. The Acclaimed have been strategizing on when would be the best time to challenge for the titles. And when they do, you will be looking at the NEW, TWO-TIME A E W World Tag Team Champions! WHY? Because EVERYONE loves The Acclaimed!

Now Buffalo, throw those scissors high in the air! “SCISSOR ME, DADDY-” Wait, someone is saying to wait. It’s Kazuchika Okada! He and The Bucks make their way out here, the fans boo, and Okada tells The Acclaimed, “Scissor me, b*tch.” Matt stops Okada there, and thanks him for that. But first, if the fans could all shut their mouths so Matt can get to business… The fans boo but Matt tells them to have some respect for the EVPs! Nick says they are here to conduct business! At Forbidden Door, The Elite challenges “the three of you PR*CKS!” How’s that!? Billy has the mic to say he has something to say.

Billy isn’t sure what The Elite said, because the fans were busy saying how The Elite sucks. But as much as Billy would love to kick the crap out of all three of them by himself, he has something even better in mind. He knows how to deal with EVPs. He’s kind of a big deal himself, and has people in high places. And Billy happens to even know a president. PRESIDENT ACE, THAT IS! Hiroshi Tanahashi is on the tron and he tells his “old friend,” Okada, this is his greatest rival speaking. And he is coming to Forbidden Door to fight Okada and The Elite! “Scissor Ace is coming!” The fans fire up with that idea!

The Elite seem amused by this notion. But will the Rainmaker & Bucks be ready for Tanahashi & The Acclaimed? Or will Tanahashi get one last win over Okada?

Backstage interview with Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly & Mark Briscoe.

Renee Paquette is with “the conglomeration” of Freshly Squeezed, Violent Artist & Sussex County Chicken, and notes this is Forbidden Door Season. Mark, please do us the honors. Mark says this Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, it is the convergence on the Big Apple! The conglomeration gonna be there kicking ass ‘n’ taking names! Mark is in the ladder match for the TNT Championship! He has two shoulders but only one belt, so he needs to add that TNT strap to the collection. Then his man, OC, has Zack Sabre Jr. in 1v1 action, IF there is anything left of Zack after tonight! Kyle O’Reilly asks if he could take over here.

Kyle tells ZSJ, “you limey scallywag! The word of the day is synchronicity! See, this is one hand. See, this is another hand! What’re they doing? They’re washing each other!” And that is what Mark has helped Kyle do with the power of motivation! ZSJ, with your square jawline, it’d be a shame if Kyle put his shin bone through it so that Zack Sabre Senior won’t even recognize his son anymore! “Oh, he ‘urt mah boy! His bones is topsy-turvy!” Kyle hopes Mark likes that. Mark loves it! Sprinkle in a little bit of this. “Zack Sabre Junior, you ain’t nothing but fish ‘n’ chips, boy! You ain’t nothing buy a spot o’ tea! You soft, son! You Peppa Pig, boy!”

Mark says Kyle is gonna whoop that ass tonight, then Orange will whoop that ass on Sunday! The conglomeration is up in here and ain’t going nowhere! Let’s go, baby! New York City! Forbidden Door, baby! LET’S GO! Kyle loves it, they head out, and Cassidy says that was good. Renee agrees, they’re both good. But will the Violent Artist prove he is the true Submission Master? Or will ZSJ make Kyle #JustTapOut?

Six Woman Tag: Toni Storm, Mariah May & Mina Shirakawa VS The Outcasts!

The Leading Lady leads her protege and her future opponent against their common enemies! Saraya & Harley have added Anna Jay to the group, but will the Star of the Show help them outshine the AEW Women’s World Champion? Or can Storm and Mina put their differences aside long enough to get through tonight?

The trios sort out and Mina starts against Anna. The two circle, tie up, and Anna puts Mina on ropes. The ref counts, Anna lets off and she kicks low. Anna whips, Mina rolls over the dropdown then eggs Anna on. Anna runs up, Mina sidesteps and follows, but Anna catches her to spin and suplex! Mina slips free, slides and shows off for the fans. Anna snarls, kicks, but Mina swats that to trip Anna! Mina KICKS Anna, then swaggers a bit more. The fans cheer, Mina whips Anna to a corner, but Anna reverses. Anna runs up but Mina slips out to the apron. Mina ROCKS Anna, steps in and goes up to ENZIGIRI!

The fans fire up as Mina reaches out to Storm, only to tag Mariah instead! Storm is left hanging, but she should’ve known that was coming. Mariah & Mina run and DOUBLE DROPKICK Anna! Team Rose Gold shimmy and shake but Storm is not amused. Harley tags in, runs up and gets around Mariah to throw her down by her hair! The ref reprimands, but Harley throws down ELBOW after ELBOW into Mariah’s shoulder. The fans rally but Harley taunts the fans as she ELBOWS Mariah down. Harley runs, but into a scoop! Mariah hits a SPIN OUT SIDEWALK SLAM! The fans fire up but Saraya is mad as Mariah brings Harley up.

Mariah looks to her corner, but both mentors are looking at her expectantly. Mariah isn’t sure who to choose, but then they both tag her! The ref says that doesn’t count! Then Saraya & Anna YANK Mina & Storm off the corner anyway! Mina and Storm are sent into barriers, Harley CHOKES Anna in the corner, but the ref counts. The fans boo, Harley whips Mariah, and then ELBOWS Mariah down, right as Dynamite goes picture in picture!

Harley covers, TWO! Harley is upset but she drags Mariah up. Harley bumps Mariah off buckles, gets space and runs in to SPLASH! Tag to Anna and Harley whips her in so she can LEG LARIAT! Mariah sputters but Anna tags Saraya. Anna puts Mariah in the ropes for Saraya, and Saraya fires KNEE after KNEE on Mariah. The ref counts, Saraya lets off to step inside, and she tags Harley in. Harley AX KICKS Mariah in the ropes! Then AX KICKS again! Harley pushes Mariah down, dribbles her off the mat, then stands on Mariah. Harley CLUBS Mariah down, puts her in ropes again, and then Harley argues with the ref so Saraya can CHOKE Mariah!

Saraya gets away before the ref sees, then Harley CHOKES Mariah herself! The ref counts, Harley lets off, and she drags Mariah from ropes. Mariah fires forearms but Harley CLUBS her back down! Harley hammers away on Mariah, taunts both Mina and Storm, then puts Mariah on the ropes. Harley CHOKES Mariah, but Mariah turns things around to CHOP! Harley turns things around to fires off forearms! Dynamite returns to single picture as the ref reprimands. Harley whips, Mariah ducks ‘n’ dodges, but DOUBLE FACEBUSTERS take them both down! The fans fire up as Mariah and Harley crawl, hot tags to Saraya and Storm!

The fans fire up as Storm rallies on The Outcasts! She gets around Saraya to SNAP GERMAN! Saraya flounders to a corner, Storm BOOTS Harley then runs in, HIP ATTACK! Mina tags herself in, she tells Storm to move aside, and then she keeps Saraya from The Outcasts. But Saraya boots free, tag to Harley! Harley ROCKS Mina then hits a BACKSTABBER! Cover, Mariah breaks it! Well, Storm certainly wasn’t going to. Mariah then HEADBUTTS Harley, but Anna runs up to FLATLINER! Storm gets in to THESZ PRESS Anna! Saraya BOOTS Storm! Saraya TOSSES Storm but Mina URAKENS! Harley is up, she wrenches Mina, but Mina blocks the boot!

URAKEN!! Mina fires up, brings Harley around, GLORIOUS DRIVER MINA!! Cover, Mina and team win!

Winners: Toni Storm, Mariah May & Mina Shirakawa, by pinfall

Mariah is happy, and she brings in champagne for her mentors. They are to toast their celebration, and they say fine. They toast, drink up, and then Mariah hugs with Mina. Storm dances with Mariah but Mina grabs the champagne bottle. Mina taps Storm on the shoulder, Storm turns around, but then Storm ducks in time! The bottle SMASHES on Mariah’s head!! Mina panics as she hits the wrong person! Mina and Storm both check on Mariah while the fans tell Mina she messed up. Mina and Storm glare at each other, but the ref wants them to save it for Sunday. More refs rush out to keep this from getting physical, but what about Mariah?

Mercedes Mone speaks.

“Hola~! Stephanie, chica, I flew all the way to Mexico to watch your title match. And here I am at Dynamite, but… where are you? You must still be salty after I kicked your ass and held both titles high above my head. And that’s exactly what’s gonna happen at Forbidden Door. Because I told you, there’s a price to pay when you mess with Mone. So I heard you have a match this Saturday on Collision, right here in Buffalo~. Wow. I guess the TBS Champion is gonna have to make her way to TNT and sit ringside just for your match.

“So enjoy your final days as the NJPW Strong Women’s Champion. Because this Sunday, I’m gonna right my final wrong. And then Two Belts Mone? Well, she changes everything.” Mone is ready to be truly golden, but will she just get an eyeful of why Vaquer is La Primera?

Chris Jericho is here!

Buffalo is torn as The Learning Tree leads “Bad Apple” Bryan Keith and “The Redwood,” “Big Bill” Morrissey to the ring. Keith has his arm in a sling after The Wrestler, Katsuyori Shibata, tore at it last Saturday Night Collision. But even so, Jericho and Bill still wave to the fans. Bill gets a mic to say, “Joe, Hook, Shibata, look at what you did to our Apple! You took him out, and then you had the nerve to challenge us to a Six Man Tag, knowing that we no longer have our third man available. But in the wise words of the sensei of the sickos, the Learning Tree, Chris Jericho, when one door closes, another door, perhaps a Forbidden Door, opens.”

See what they did there? These fans know what Bill’s talking about. The mic is then handed to Jericho and he says, “Hi, guys~!” Jericho knows that everyone who knows him knows that Jericho is in AEW for one reason and one reason only: he’s here to help the young guys! That is why Jericho has brought so many of them into the “Jericho Vortex,” so that he can help their careers. That includes The Redwood and The Bad Apple. So that’s why it is not fair that Joe, Hook & Shibata hurt Keith. But! “Samoa Joke, the joke is on you! Because we found another partner!

“He’s one of the toughest men that I ever met in the history of my time in Japan, and I’ve been to Japan almost 60 times, which is a lot, guys. And much like The Acclaimed had their video with Tanahashi, we’ve got a video from this guy, as well. But we haven’t watched it yet, because I wanted to share it with all of you and watch it for the first time together with all my Branches.” The fans cheer that, at least. So Joe, Hook & Shibata, you’re gonna learn a hard lesson that you’re not gonna like. But que sara sara, right? So here he is! A fellow Wrestling Observe Newsletter Hall of Famer, just like Jericho! Their Forbidden Door partner is…

MINORU SUZUKI! The fans fire up and the King of Pancrase tells Jericho, “I understand why you want me to be your partner at Forbidden Door. But you are mistaken about one thing. I don’t want to wrestle by your side. I want to wrestle YOU, one-on one. Are you trying to avoid me because you’re scared? You’re not chickening out, are you? I hate your soft way of thinking now. The Learning Tree. The heck is that? I want nothing to do with anything like that! I will Not be your partner. Instead, you put your FTW Title on the line, and you wrestle ME! CHRIS, EFFIN’, JERICHO! Thank you, guys~! See you soon.”

Uh oh… Jericho hears it from the fans, he messed up. Keith says Chris ain’t no chicken! But then here come Samoa Joe and the boys! Joe has a smirk and a mic as he says, “Well, isn’t this awkward? You came here to Buffalo, New York looking for a savior, and yet you have struck out again.” Joe laughs, and tells Jericho, “What we’ve learned tonight is that The Learning Tree is much like the Jericho family tree: it just don’t have enough branches. So Chris, know that what stands before you, your opponents are very much students of the game. And we have gone back and meticulously watched every single Learning Tree segment to garner everything we could about our opponents.

“And y’know what the funny thing is? We were discussing it amongst ourselves, we said, how do we describe this feeling that we have when we see you drop these nuggets of wisdom on the world? And my friend Shibata here, the wordsmith that he is, well, he best summed it up better than anybody.” Shibata has his phone say use text to speech: “Oh brother, this guy sucks!” The fans chant, “This Guy Sucks!” but then Jericho SLAPS Joe! Joe smirks, then turns into a glare. Joe HEADBUTTS Jericho! Then Shibata & Hook go after Keith & Bill! Joe beats down Jericho, Jericho and Keith get out but then Bill flops out of the ring!

The Learning Tree and his Branches make like a tree and leaf! Suzuki wants the FTW Championship, Joe and the rest want a fight, what is Jericho to do?

Zack Sabre Jr. VS Kyle O’Reilly!

The Submission Master wants after “Orange Bollocks,” but that’s for Forbidden Door. As the Violent Artist and the Sussex County Chicken said, the plan is to break down the Brit before ever getting to Long Island, will it happen? Or will we see that ZSJ > KOR?

Speaking of Freshly Squeezed, Orange Cassidy has joined commentary. And because they can’t seem to leave Kyle alone, The Undisputed Kingdom’s Roderick Strong, Matt Taven & Mike Bennett have front row seats at ringside to watch this match. And wait, with them is the NJPW Strong Champion, Gabe Kidd. What’s the Mad Man doing hanging out with those guys? Well, anyway, the bell rings and the fans rally up. ZSJ and Kyle feel things out. They circle, clinch, and ZSJ facelocks. ZSJ waistlocks, Kyle switches, but ZSJ switches back. ZSJ wrangles Kyle to the mat, Kyle gets his leg guard up, and fans cheer while ZSJ backs off.

The two reset, knuckle lock, and go shoulder to shoulder. The fans duel, and ZSJ powers his way to a straitjacket stretch. Kyle powers up to turn things around, but ZSJ bridges, trips Kyle, then covers. ONE, ZSJ goes for a waistlock but Kyle turns that right around on him. ZSJ has his leg guard but Kyle cartwheels over. ZSJ stands, and the fans cheer the standoff. Kyle and ZSJ reset, circle again, and Cassidy admits, these guys are doing moves he doesn’t know how to do. Kyle and ZSJ tie up collar ‘n’ elbow, then they end up in a corner. The ref counts, ZSJ wrenches to whip corner to corner. Kyle reverses but ZSJ goes up and under!

Kyle goes up and under but ZSJ steps over to sunset flip, but Kyle drops to the ARMBAR! ZSJ slips out to ARMBAR! Kyle slips away and the fans cheer this newest standoff. Both men shake out those arms, Roddy shouts, “C’mon, Kyle!” Kyle and ZSJ tie up, and then Kyle goes for the arm. Kyle wrenches, ZSJ rolls, bridges, and spins to slip free. The fans cheer as ZSJ swaggers, and then ZSJ talks a bit of smack on Gabe. Gabe wants Kyle to just punch ZSJ for him. Kyle and ZSJ reset, knuckle lock, and Kyle rolls, wrenches, but ZSJ fights off the wrangle by hooking a leg and pulling an ear. Kyle still wrangles ZSJ and covers, ONE!

Kyle still has the arm but ZSJ reaches up with his legs to get a headscissor! The fans cheer, and ZSJ squeezes tight. Kyle endures, fights around, and he rolls back to tie up ZJS’s legs. The fans cheer as Kyle switches to a cravat and snapmare, and he KICKS ZSJ in the back! Kyle gets ZSJ up to throw knees, then he snapmares. ZSJ bridges up to snapmare back! Kyle bridges up to snapmare again! ZSJ gets up, but Kyle hops on for a SLEEPER! ZSJ tries to roll but Kyle blocks that. So ZSJ throws Kyle down, and NECK TWISTS! Kyle writhes, ZSJ isolates an arm and STOMPS it! Kyle writhes more as Dynamite goes picture in picture.

ZSJ waits on Kyle while he clutches that arm. Kyle is okay to continue so ZSJ grabs that arm, for a DISARMER! Kyle endures, even as ZSJ shifts to an omoplata. ZSJ bends fingers, SNAPS them, then SNAPS the other fingers! Kyle writhes but ZSJ stands him up to UPPERCUT! And UPPERCUT again! Kyle staggers around, ZSJ RAMS into him at the ropes. ZSJ shoves Kyle, but Kyle catches ZSJ to a GUILLOTINE FACELOCK! But ZSJ wrenches free to WRING the arm out! Kyle writhes and goes to the apron while ZSJ swaggers a bit. ZSJ heads over, but Kyle gets a leg! DRAPING DRAGON SCREW! Now ZSJ flops down and writhes!

Kyle steps in, paces as ZSJ rises, and then Kyle grabs the leg! DRAGON SCREW, but ZSJ steps through! NECK TWIST! Kyle writhes again and Gabe is frustrated for him. ZSJ clamps onto Kyle with a top wristlock and he pulls on the arm. Kyle endures, even as ZSJ shifts around and isolates that arm. ZSJ STOMPS the arm and Kyle clutches the elbow. The ref checks Kyle but he’s still in this. ZSJ cravats Kyle for a neck wrench, but Kyle endures. Kyle moves around, Dynamite returns to single picture, and he UPPERCUTS free! Kyle fires forearm after forearm, but ZSJ UPPERCUTS the arm! ZSJ whips, Kyle reverses, but ZSJ turns kitchen sink into COBRA TWIST!

The fans fire up as Kyle endures, but ZSJ shifts around to an IRON OCTOPUS! Kyle still endures, and he pulls on ZSJ’s leg to have an ANKLE LOCK! ZSJ turns over to kick and kick. Kyle lets go but ZSJ ducks the Penalty Kick! Kyle blocks a kick to give a kick! ZSJ swings, Kyle bobs ‘n’ weaves to fire off a strike fest! KICK! KICK! ZSJ has to sit down! The fans fire up while Kyle paces. Taven & Bennett applaud, but ZSJ UPPERCUTS Kyle back! ZSJ double wristlocks but Kyle fires knees! The fans chant “This is Wrestling!” as Kyle fires another strike fest! LEG SWEEP! Kyle grits his teeth, ZSJ crawls to a corner.

Kyle runs in, forearm smash! Kyle wrenches an arm, but ZSJ has a SLEEPER! Kyle drops to throw ZSJ off but ZSJ wrenches an arm to PELE it! ZSJ runs, into a KNEE! Kyle runs, into a cradle! TWO!! Kyle suplexes for the FALCON ARROW into the ARMBAR! ZSJ clasps hands, Kyle pulls at it, but ZSJ rolls back. ZSJ has an ANKLE LOCK! Kyle rolls to get an ANKLE LOCK! ZSJ rolls again, for an ARMBAR! Kyle rolls back, he has the ANKLE LOCK again! Cassidy is speechless seeing this, but ZSJ reels Kyle in for a headlock! Kyle SAIDOS free! The fans are thunderous, Kyle gives ZSJ AX & SMASH! But ZSJ KICKS in return!

ZSJ kicks again but Kyle ducks it! Kyle avoids the sweep, ZSJ avoids the Penalty Kick, but DOUBLE ROUNDHOUSES hit! They wobble, ZSJ runs up, but into a KNEE!! The fans are thunderous, Roddy shouts for Kyle to end this! Kyle gets ZSJ up, hooks a leg, but ZSJ CLUBS away on Kyle! Kyle kicks but ZSJ blocks! SLAP! Kyle wobbles, but he blocks a kick! Kyle SLAPS, ZSJ SLAPS, they SLAP back and forth! ZSJ fires off a flurry, but Kyle SLAPS, SLAPS and SLAPS! ZSJ umps into an ARMBAR TAKEDOWN! TRIANGLE HOLD! Kyle stacks it, TWO, and ZSJ shifts to a DISARMER! And DEEP! Kyle TAPS, ZSJ wins!!

Winner: Zack Sabre Jr, by submission

The Front Man of TMDK proves The Mighty Don’t Kneel! Cassidy is a bit upset, Roddy and Gabe also have their own argument going on, but ZSJ invites Cassidy down to the ring. Cassidy does go down to the ring, but he rolls into the ring rather than step through the ropes ZSJ holds open. The Kingdom then storms into the ring so that they can check on their “friend,” Kyle. ZSJ gets Cassidy to focus on him now. And then the rest of TMDK appears, backing ZSJ up. ZSJ says it’s fine, but then TOMOHIRO ISHII is here!? The Stone Pitbull has been a friend to Cassidy in the past, so he’s here now to back Cassidy up!

The fans fire up as Cassidy has Chaos by his side, and then Gabe Kidd just starts barking at everyone. Tensions are running high in all different directions, is The Forbidden Door going to get ripped off its hinges?

BREAKING NEWS for Rampage!

Roderick Strong and Gabe Kidd are going to team up together to take on The Infantry! Will the Savior of the Backbreaker and the Mad Man of New Japan make for a strong combination? Or will Captain Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo be ready for a war with the War Dog?

Will Ospreay & Swerve Strickland w/ Prince Nana VS The Gates of Agony!

While the Aerial Assassin and The Mogul are battling for THE AEW World Championship on Sunday, they both have beef with the former Embassy. Will Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona come to regret leaving Swerve’s House? Or will they make sure neither champion nor challenger reaches the Forbidden Door?

The teams sort out, and while Swerve and Ospreay argue, The Gates attack! The fans boo but Liona TOSSES Swerve out and Kaun CLUBS away on Ospreay. Swerve and Liona brawl outside, and Liona knees low to then whip Swerve into railing! Kaun CHOPS Ospreay, then seethes as he drags Ospreay up. Kaun whips corner to corner, Ospreay goes up and over, things keep moving. Kaun hurdles, Ospreay shoves him then hurdles back. Ospreay MONKEY FLIPS Kaun and the fans fire up! Ospreay runs in at the corner but is put on the apron. Ospreay ROCKS Kaun, springboards, PIOP PIP CHEERIO! Cover, ONE!!

Kaun is tough but Ospreay tags Swerve. The champs double whip, then POP-UP ROUNDHOUSE! Swerve somersaults to FLATLINER! Ospreay STANDING MOONSAULTS! Cover, TWO! Swerve says this is on Ospreay’s timing, not his. Swerve gets Kaun up to suplex, but Kaun slips free. Kaun waistlocks, Swerve switches and Ospreay storms in. Kaun slips away so Ospreay almost boots Swerve! Swerve blocks it in time, and Ospreay says sorry. Swerve lets Ospreay’s foot down, but Liona runs up to DOUBLE LARIAT! The Gates then DOUBLE BACK SUPLEX Swerve! Kaun covers, ONE!!

Swerve is also tough but Kaun tags Liona. Nana keeps the fans going with “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Kaun whisp Liona in but Swerve bails out, and Dynamite goes picture in picture. So Liona just goes up and out to the apron! Liona ASAI MOONSAULTS onto Swerve and Ospreay! The Samoan-Boricua hybrid roars as he and Kaun stand tall at the corner. Liona has a sadistic grin as he goes back for Swerve and puts him in the ring. Swerve staggers away but Liona storms up to CHOKE him! The ref counts, Liona steps off, and he gets in the ref’s face. Liona goes back for Swerve but Swerve throws hands!

Liona BODY SHOTS Swerve, CHOKES him in the corner, and sits him down before letting go. The ref reprimands, but this lets Kaun CHOKE Swerve behind his back! Ospreay storms over but the ref stops him, letting Kaun get away! Liona then storms up, drags Swerve up, and he brings Swerve over. Tag to Kaun, and he slingshots to sunset flip! Swerve holds onto ropes but Liona SUPERKICKS him down! Cover, TWO! Swerve escapes but Kaun CLUBS Swerve. Kaun CHOPS, kicks low, but Swerve hits back! Kaun fires off forearms in the corner! Kaun drags Swerve up and over, tags Liona, and they mug Swerve.

Liona scoops Swerve to SLAM him, then runs to FALLING HEADBUTT! Liona clamps onto Swerve’s shoulder, Swerve endures, and he fights up. Liona throws Swerve down by his hair! The ref reprimands, Dynamite returns to single picture, and the shoulder claw clamps back on. Swerve endures, the fans rally, and Swerve fights up. Swerve reaches out, Liona throws him down again! Liona tells the fans off, reaches for Swerve, but Swerve UP KICKS! Liona staggers, Kaun hurries in, but Swerve puts Kaun on the apron! Kaun falls hard, Liona grabs Swerve! Swerve reaches out for Ospreay, but Liona waistlocks.

Swerve throws elbows, Liona grabs the tights, but Swerve kicks free and ROCKS Liona with a right! Swerve turns around, but Kaun YANKS Ospreay down! Then Liona SPLASHES Swerve, and Kaun gets in! The Gates DOUBLE SPINEBUSTER! Cover, TWO!! Swerve survives but Liona tags Kaun. The Gates drag Swerve up, fireman’s carry to a GUT- NO, Swerve blocks the gutbuster! Kaun still kicks Swerve away and Liona waistlocks. Kaun runs up, but Swerve slips free, the SHOTGUN hits Liona! The fans fire up and as Swerve then gator rolls and deadlifts for the BRAINBUSTER! Both men are down, Ospreay returns!

The fans fire up and Swerve crawls over. Hot tag to Ospreay and he CLOBBERS Kaun! And CLOBBERS him again! Ospreay whips, Kaun reverses but Ospreay CLOBBERS him again! Liona returns to CLUB Ospreay! The ref reprimands but the Gates double whip Ospreay. Ospreay ducks the double lariat to handspring and DOUBLE NEURALIZER KICK! Liona falls out of the ring, Ospreay STANDING SHOOTING STARS onto Kaun! Cover, TWO! Kaun is still in this so Ospreay drags him to a drop zone. Ospreay climbs, Liona storms up, but Ospreay kicks him down. But Kaun is up to go after Ospreay!

Ospreay elbows Kauna way, adjusts, but Kaun goes right up after him! SUPER JACKHAMMER!! Cover, SWERVE BREAKS IT! Liona runs up, Swerve ducks the lariat to RISING HEADBUTT! But that hurts Swerve a bit more than it did Liona… Liona roars and runs in, but Swerve DUMPS him out! Swerve then steps out to FLYING KILL STOMPS!! The fans fire up, Swerve hurries back up, but Kaun DECKS him! Kaun turns around, into a SPANISH FLY! Cover, TWO! The fans fire up and Ospreay kicks Kaun low. Underhooks and… Swerve says just do it then! Ospreay is hesitant, but he goes for STORM BREAK- NO, Kaun slips free!

Kaun shoves Ospreay at Swerve, but Ospreay puts on the brakes! Kaun runs in, Ospreay moves, Swerve ROCKS Kaun! Ospreay aims, but Kaun moves, SUPERKICK hits Swerve! Liona returns, Kaun DROPKICKS Ospreay into the POUNCE!! Kaun covers, TWO!! Ospreay survives but Kaun tags Liona. The Gates get Ospreay up, but Ospreay fights free! Swerve returns and Ospreay ducks, the BOOT hits Kaun! That was the plan, wasn’t it? Liona runs up, but the champs dodge this time! TIGER WALL KICK, ENZIGIRI ROUNDHOUSE COMBO! Then POISON- NO, Liona’s a bit too big for that! So Swerve BOOTS Liona into the POISON-RANA!

Ospreay then goes up, OSCUTTER!! Cover, TWO?!?! Liona survives and shocks everyone! But Ospreay takes his elbow pad off and aims from a corner. Kaun hurries in but Swerve intercepts to wrangle him by that arm! Kaun traps the arms, and STOMPS one apart! Even Ospreay winces at that! But then HIDDEN BLADE on Liona! Cover, the champs win!

Winners: Will Ospreay & Swerve Strickland, by pinfall

The Assassin and The Realest come out on top, making it work despite being rivals. But Swerve tells Ospreay again, he’s not ready for both belts. But then Ospreay snatches the world title away, just like he did a couple weeks ago! Ospreay smirks, but then Swerve KICKS a leg out! And HOUSE CALL!! The fans are torn, but Swerve picks up his belt to stand over Ospreay with it. Will this be the scene that closes The Forbidden Door? Or will Ospreay walk into the Windy City as the Two Belt Bruv?

My Thoughts:

A great Dynamite here as we enter the Forbidden Door go-home week. Great opening promo with MJF, Garcia and Ospreay. Ospreay one-upping MJF with his title match offer was good follow-up to that earlier stare down the two had, and MJF’s change in attitude after makes me wonder if he’ll struggle to not be the old, selfish Heel MJF. He wanted to be the magnanimous one offering Garcia this great opportunity, and Ospreay goes and doubles down by offering up to two titles against Garcia. Swerve’s promo in response was good, because Ospreay is counting chickens before they hatch offering a double title match.

We got a great main event tag match with Ospreay & Swerve naturally winning, but then Swerve being the one to stand tall is some intriguing go-home math. There’s still Collision on Saturday, so if Ospreay gets the better of Swerve there, then we know Ospreay isn’t winning the world title at Forbidden Door. But as it stands, the Beach Break match of Ospreay VS Garcia really could get bigger if Ospreay wins the world title. And Forbidden Door aside, depending on how Ospreay VS Garcia goes, I could see MJF pivoting to want after Ospreay in Wembley because of how Ospreay’s been getting on his nerves, undercutting the big moment he was going to give Garcia.

Great Six Man Tag of BCC VS LIJ, but I should’ve known there’d be shenanigans to give us a non-finish. Yuta was clearly the guy who was going to take the loss, if not for how he’s still ROH Pure Champion, so Moxley losing his cool was a good way to get out of this. Naito showing up to brawl with Moxley was good stuff, muddies up the go-home math, but Naito winning the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship is still the right call. Then we got some good tension between Takagi and Bryan. As I’ve said before, Takagi is great but it feels more like Bryan is going to be facing Pac next round.

Great Owen Hart Cup match from White VS Fenix, but yeah, I figured White would win this. AEW’s getting that story integration stuff going again, as Bullet Club Gold has The Patriarchy going after them for the trios titles but White has to focus on this tournament. The Bucks saying the wild card is on their side is an interesting detail, and after Jeff Jarrett’s emotional promo from last Saturday, I hope he finds a way to beat this wild card but it feels like that person is gonna get some real Heel heat by beating Owen Hart’s best friend. The Acclaimed had a real good promo to call out The Bucks, and then Tanahashi joining forces with them is a great twist. #ScissorAce VS The Elite will be a great Six Man Tag, but it might be where The Elite get their win back.

Great promo segment from the Jericho story, because while I sensed Jericho was bringing up Suzuki, I also sensed that Suzuki was gonna refuse the offer to team up. Jericho VS Suzuki in an FTW Championship match, aka an FTW Rules match, is going to be great stuff. And we also got good stuff from Joe, Hook & Shibata there, and maybe someone else joins Jericho’s side while Keith is hurt so that we still get that great Six Man Tag match. Great Six Woman Tag tonight, and that went about how I expected with the Faces winning. However, Mina getting the pin, then her accidentally taking out Mariah, that’s a clear sign Storm retains at Forbidden Door.

Another great promo from “The Conglomeration,” and I even appreciate Kyle doing his best to copy Mark’s style. I kinda want that trio of Kyle, Cassidy & Mark to stick together to go after the trios titles, really help build the trios division up, but who knows what’ll happen as things move forward. Great match from ZSJ and Kyle, pretty much the best match of the whole night, but I also like that there are so many stories blending in here. Gabe Kidd is here cuz Forbidden Door but he and Ishii have stuff in NJPW so they integrated that here while also revisiting Ishii being a friend of Cassidy’s. ZSJ has the momentum going into his match with Cassidy, which could go either way, and I feel like we should get The Conglomeration VS The Undisputed Kingdom to settle Kyle’s story with Roddy.

My Score: 8.9/10

Tony Schiavone is in the ring.

“Fans here in Indiana, we have a one-on-one face-to-face so volatile, that everyone is going to be barred from ringside. Next week, Winter is Coming, part of Dynamite right here on TBS, for the AEW World title, let’s bring out the champion! Here is Samoa Joe!” Fishers, Indiana is torn as the leader of The Opps makes his way out to the ring. Schiavone then introduces the challenge, Eddie Kingston! The fans are much more united in cheering on The Mad King as he makes his way out, repping the Trash Pandas. Schiavone says, “Once again, everyone else barred from ringside-”

Joe takes the mic from Schiavone! “Schiavone, get outta my ring before I snatch that ugly wig off your head.” The fans boo, but Schiavone does as told. Joe says, “Now, if you’ll excuse me, it seems we have some situations to address. Y’know, Eddie, I bet you are just filled with questions that needed answering. So allow me to answer those questions right off the bat. First, you’re probably wondering why I’m not out here in a three-piece suit, looking like a million dollars.” Eddie says, “Corporate thuggin’, where you at?” Joe says yeah, but it’s for a simple reason. When he got on his private jet and the pilot said they were heading to Indiana, Joe realized it’d be like wearing a tux to a petting zoo.

Let’s face it! The penguins may appreciate it, but these “dumb animals” are far too stupid to realize they’re in the presence of greatness! The fans boo more, but Joe says the second question must be, Why Hook? And why Eddie? See, Hook is a man who has grown with a championship legacy: His father, Taz, was a great champion; his mentor, Joe, the greatest champion in the industry. But this is about education, Eddie, and Joe wanted Hook to have a complete one. So it was important that Hook learned what it was like living on the other side, “eating with the second place people, know how the steak tastes at the third place table.”

Joe couldn’t think of a better candidate to be that guide than Eddie. “A man who has never gotten it done! A man who has never crossed the finish line! A person who walks around, screaming about their potential, but never quite fulfills it.” The fans cheer Eddie on, but Joe chuckles. Joe will ask the third question, the most important one: What’s gonna happen next week? Well, Joe will tell you. Eddie will walk into this ring, he will fight his ass off, he’ll be every bit the lion he claims he is, and bring everything he has to the table in order to capture the greatest championship in this industry. But Eddie, you’re not gonna cross the finish, just like every other time.

The fans boo and Eddie gets worked up. Joe tells Eddie to have the consolation of knowing that it won’t be because of anything Eddie did. No, it will because Joe will choke him unconscious in the middle of this ring. Eddie says he still can’t get over how Samoa Joe, a man who was once held in high regard as a man who saved the indies, who had one of the greatest title runs in ROH, if not THE greatest. A man who went to war with Eddie’s own mentor, Homicide, and he’s talking about jets. Damn, dawg, you sold your soul out hard! And y’know what? Hook was to learn something from Eddie? What he learned was perseverance!

What Hook learned from Eddie was to never give up, even when everyone else tells you to, like Joe. When everybody in the back says, “Yeah, Eddie’s a hot head. Eddie has a point, but why does he yell and scream?” Cuz at least Eddie gets s*it done when he does. The fans cheer that! “So, Joe, stand here right now, Joe. Stand here right now. Because this Samoa Joe, I don’t know. And guess what? I don’t respect. The Joe I know and the Joe that I respect, you ran through everybody, bro. You showed fighting spirit, you showed the whole entire world, the world, what it meant to be a real heavyweight champion!

“But now, but now, que eso? What is this? What is this? Jumping people from behind, using a kid like Hook, getting all up in his head. What, what, you doing what the old school guys used to do? The guys that you used to hate? The guys that you used to call out? It’s funny, now you’re them.” Ooh… Eddie says the thing is, he can end this real quick since the fans want to watch wrestling and Eddie just wants to go back to the hotel and go to bed. So here’s the thing! If Joe doesn’t bring the ROH World Champion, the Submission Machine, if he does not bring the Samoa Joe that made Eddie wanna battle and keep going…

If Joe doesn’t bring back the Joe that beat up Eddie’s mentor for years, Eddie will eat Joe alive on December 10th! Eddie drops the mic and the fans fire up! Winter is Coming, as is one guaranteed slug fest! Will the Mad King finally “live up to his potential?” Or will Joe bring back the man that everyone respected?

The Opps speak.

They’re backstage per the ringside ban, but Hook steps up to say, “Samoa Joe took care of business tonight. Come next week at Winter is Coming, he’ll finish Eddie Kingston off.” Will Hobbs says, “See, we’ve got some business to take care of tonight. But you know, everybody’s gunning for these Trios Championships, so what we’re gonna do is, we’re gonna bless everyone. We’re gonna sprinkle a little holiday cheer around this place. Now last night on ROH, there was one team that impressed us. Dark Order, if you get past us tonight, you get a title shot against Shibata, myself, and Samoa Joe.”

Hook says, “See, Hangman, we know those are real good friends of yours. So we’re gonna have some fun out there with them tonight.” Shibata adds in Japanese that they’ll destroy Dark Order! Hook says that for Shibata the assassin, Hobbs the monster, and “the greatest second generation wrestler of all time,” it’ll be real light work. Is the Dark Order going to be used to send a message to The Cowboy? Or can they find a way to survive The Opps?

2025 Continental Classic Gold League: Kazuchika Okada VS PAC!

In perhaps the most shocking opening round result you’ll ever see, The Rainmaker did NOT start off with a win! He is 0-1 and already up against the wall as he now faces the 1-0 Bastard! Will Pac keep the momentum going? Or will Okada make it rain in Indiana?

The bell rings and the fans fire up already. The two circle, feel things out, and tie up. Okada shifts to a waistlock, Pac switches, but Okada pries free to wrench and wristlock. Pac squats, rolls, and then slips through to wrench and wristlock Okada. Pac then hammerlocks, but Okada drop toeholds. Okada floats to a facelock, but Pac wrenches right out to facelock in return. Don Callis is again on commentary this week to simply brush off Okada’s loss last week by saying the Callis Family is making a group effort in the C2. They still have the statistical advantage in this tournament. Okada fights up and uses his height advantage to put Pac in a corner.

The ref counts, Pac and Okada let go of each other, but then Pac pie faces Okada! The fans fire up while Okada storms back up. The ref has them both stay back until Pac is out of the corner. Then Okada fires a forearm! Pac fires back, they go forearm for forearm, but then Pac DROPKICKS a leg out! Okada goes to a corner, Pac runs up, and he ELBOWS Okada! Pac snapmares Okada, goes up the corner, and he MISSILE DROPKICKS! Okada tumbles, Pac kips up, and Callis admits that is shades of the Dynamite Kid. Pac runs, runs, and runs, but Okada just bails out. The fans cheer the snarky cleverness while Pac frowns.

Pac goes to the ropes, but Okada trips him first! Okada drags Pac out, RAMS him into railing, and the fans rally up. Okada brings Pac around, just to RAM him into railing again! Okada hears the ring count, the fans want that “One More Time!” and Okada drags Pac up. Okada puts Pac in the ring instead of doing what the fans want, then he storms up on Pac in the corner. Okada ELBOWS Pac, the fans cuss out Callis, and Okada ELBOWS Pac again. The ref counts, Okada backs off, and Okada ELBOWS Pac again. Okada brings Pac out, reels him in, and turns him for a NECKBREAKER! Cover, ONE, but Okada stays stoic.

Okada drags Pac up to scoop and SLAM! Okada goes up the corner per the formula, but Pac hurries away. Okada hops down and runs up to CLUB Pac down! Okada brings Pac up to whip, but Pac reverses to snapmare! And then FACE SCRAPE! Okada clutches his mouth but Pac stomps him down! Pac stomps away, soaks up cheers and jeers from Fishers, then stalks Okada while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Pac steps on Okada, digs his boots in, and scrapes his face again! Pac snapmares Okada, digs his knee into Okada’s back while keeping him down with the chinlock. Okada endures, pries at the grip, and he moves around. Pac TOSSES Okada out! Okada lands at Callis’ feet, Pac goes out after him, and Pac whips Okada into barriers! Okada writhes against the hard LED, but Pac digs his boot in! The fans cheer but the ref reprimands so Pac lets off. Pac then whips Okada into more railing! Pac refreshes the ring count before he digs his boots into Okada again. The ref reprimands, Pac steps off, and he drags Okada back up.

Pac puts Okada in the ring, then runs to KNEE DROP! And then he KNEES Okada in the back! Pac pushes Okada down so he can run and KNEE DROP again! Cover, TWO! Pac argues with the ref but Okada is just tougher than that. Pac snarls and drags Okada up. Pac bumps Okada off buckles, eggs the fans on, but Okada ROCKS Pac! And ROCKS him again! And again! Pac snapmares to basement DROPKICK Okada in the back! Pac again eggs on Fishers, and he looms over Okada. Pac cravats for a neck wrench while Dynamite returns to single picture. The fans rally up while Okada fights to his feet, and he throws body shots!

Pac SOBATS! KICKS! And SOBATS! Pac runs to DROPKICK Okada down! Pac goes to the apron, climbs up the corner again, but the fans rally for “O-KA-DA!” Okada rises, turns around, MISSILE- NO, Okada dodges! Pac crash lands, and then Okada SHOTGUNS Pac to the other corner! The fans fire up while both men are down, and now a standing count begins! Pac sputters, Okada turns over, and both men sit up at 5 of 10. They rise to 6, Okada fires forearms! Okada whips, Pac reverses, but Okada ELBOWS Pac down! Then he runs corner to corner to ELBOW Pac! Okada kicks and reels Pac in, DDT! Cover, TWO!

The fans rally as Pac survives, but Okada keeps cool. Okada stands Pac up, scoops him, and SLAMS him! Back to the standard formula as Okada goes up top, MACHO ELBOW! The fans fire up, and Okada winds up, Rainmaker MIDDLE FINGER! Okada drags Pac up, waistlocks, but Pac RAMS him into the corner! Pac fires elbow after elbow, then snarls as he gets space. Pac runs up, but Okada pops him up! Pac grabs ropes, Okada dumps him to the apron! Okada runs up, btu Pac dodges to then BOOT! Pac slingshots, and hits the CUTTER! Pac fires up but the fans are torn. Pac runs, runs, and runs, but Okada DROPKICKS him down!

The fans fire up again and Okada ripcords, RAIN- NO, Pac wheelbarrows to victory roll! TWO!! Okada BOOTS Pac! Pac ends up in a corner, and he BOOTS Okada in return! Pac goes up, leaps over, and SUPERKICKS! Pac hurries to go corner to corner and BOOT again! Pac whips, Okada reverses, but Pac slides to a stop! Okada runs up, Pac dodges, SNAP GERMAN! The fans fire up as Pac then waistlocks to deadlift Okada! Okada fights, but Pac still GERMAN SUPLEXES! Bridging cover, TWO!! Okada survives but Callis gives Pac credit, that’s perhaps the most beautiful German Suplex you’ll see in the business today.

The fans rally as Pac rises and Okada sputters. Pac stands Okada up, but Okada gut wrenches! TOMBSTONE!! But Okada can’t make the cover! The fans rally up again while the standing count returns. Okada goes to the corner, then drags himself up to the top rope! The fans rally as Pac then springs to life! Pac jumps up after Okada, and he SUPER DUPER PLEXES!! The fans lose their minds, but Pac gets moving again! BASTARD BOMBER!! Then the BRUTAL- CRADLE!! OKADA WINS!!

Winner: Kazuchika Okada, by pinfall (gains 3 points; Pac earns 0)

Snatching victory from the jaws of defeat, Okada gets points on the board! However, he could still be a step behind the leader. We see Kyle Fletcher VS Kevin Knight later, who comes out of that as Gold League’s 2-0 man?

Mark Briscoe speaks.

“Now roundabout a year ago, Danny Garcia, me and you faced off not once but twice. First in the Continental Classic, and then on Collision for your TNT title. Now, I won one, you won one. But my main takeaway was that Danny Garcia is the real deal. This kid is game! Now, here we are a year later, and my goodness how things have changed. Now I’m the reigning and defending TNT Champion. And Danny, Daniel, my opinion of you is not what it once was. You see, Danny, I’m afraid that maybe you’re falling into a Death Riders death spiral. Y’know, you talk all this noise about how you want the shot. I confront you right to your face, and I tell you, ‘Hey, man, let’s do it!’

“You get in my face, and then you back away. What, are you playing mind games? Is this a Jon Moxley-ism? Well, look, Danny, I don’t play mind games, I don’t play no kinda games. I ain’t duckin’, I ain’t dodgin’, so I went straight to Tony Khan. I said, ‘Tony, let’s make this match. Briscoe, Garcia, for the TNT title.’ He said, ‘Mark, I got just the place and time: Cardiff, Wales, Winter is Coming.’ I said, that sounds perfect! Because I’m comin’, too, baby! And it’s gonna be an international ass whooping!” The Sussex County Chicken is ready to fly across the Atlantic just to tear it up, but will he be the one put on ice?

The Demand speaks.

Ricochet says, “To all my, uh, frequent fliers out there, you already know who this is. It’s AEW’s National Champion himself, Ricochet. And I’m feeling pretty good right now, but it’s funny. Over the past couple of days, I’ve had to keep my phone on Do Not Disturb, because I’ve had promoter after promoter emailing me, texting me, calling me, begging me, to come save their little company, to give their talent an opportunity. Because they know what I’ve known this entire time, that Ricochet is not only a champion, but Ricochet has been a viral sensation in every single company that I have worked for, and you can look it up.

“But despite all of that, what I’m known for best is my charity work. Humanitarianism. So my first piece of charity work will be this Friday, in Columbus, Ohio, where I make my debut in ROH. Actually, it’s against an ex-ROH-Champion himself, Dalton Castle. And Dalton, you and I, we’ve known each other for a long, long, long time, so I hate to be the one to tell you, but this Friday, I will dispose of you with ease, and since Columbus is such a cold, miserable place, I’ve decided, uh, I’m gonna stay an extra day. And on Collision, I plan on doing some more charity work where I give some charity case out there an opportunity at my championship.

“Because The Demand is in more demand than we have ever been. And remember: When you’re in Demand, you can make demands.” Kaun adds, “And if you don’t follow demands…” Liona shouts, “You get put DOWN!” AHA~! Feels good, that feels real good. But will The One & Only stay the first-ever AEW National Champion with taking on The Peacock and then potentially a wild card opponent? Or will his holidays already be ruined before Winter even arrives?

Backstage interview with The Conglomeration.

Renee Paquette is with Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, The Babes of Wrath, and even Roderick Strong, as she says we are in the midst of the Continental Classic. And with that, this Saturday will give us a great match-up as Blue League pits Cassidy against Roddy. How will this one possibly go for The Conglomeration? Briscoe says he doesn’t mean to cut her off, but it would be an accurate observation to say that The Conglomeration has not started off The C2 with an abundance of success. That is why it is a good thing that the Word of the Day is: Retributification! So Saturday, Roderick Strong VS Orange Cassidy, someone’s gotta win!

Cassidy says yeah, up top, Roddy. Roddy says no, stop it! First off, he is NOT in the Conglomeration! Got that? Second, he beats Cassidy’s ass this Saturday to go on and win The Continental Classic? Got that? Cassidy asks Briscoe to explain the Conglomeration Rules for the match. Right, well, Cassidy had an idea for the match: No chops. Roddy says Cassidy’s an idiot, and he’s gonna break Cassidy’s back. Roddy pushes past Cassidy, Briscoe wants him to cool down and consider it, and the Babes head out. Cassidy says Roddy must not have seen him standing right here. But will Roddy make sure nothing and no one stops him from breaking through the C2?

BREAKING NEWS on Darby Allin!

Speaking of the Continental Classic, it was a battle in the opening round between The Relentless One and Kevin Knight, but it would appear Darby was far more banged up than he let on. It was as a precaution that Darby be taken to the hospital for observation, he was not cleared to travel, let alone compete, here tonight. AEW hopes to have a clearer picture by this Saturday, will Darby still be able to keep up the fight? Or does even he have a limit to what damage he can take?

2025 Continental Classic Gold League: Kyle Fletcher VS Kevin Knight!

As mentioned already, both these men won big in their opening round matches, so they both stand at 1-0 with 3 points. Okada finally got himself some points to catch up to The Protostar, but will Fletcher just take another step forward? Or will The Jet be leaving them both in the dust as he starts to take off?

The bell rings and the fans fire up as the two circle. They tie up, Kyle’s height helping him, but Knight digs his heels in. They go around, Kyle puts Knight on the ropes, but Knight turns that around. The ref counts, Knight lets off and pats Kyle on the shoulders. Callis admits, he likes Knight, because just look at him! A stud of an athlete. Kyle shrugs things off as he circles with Knight. They tie up again, go around and around, and Kyle hits a headlock takeover. Knight fights, keeps his shoulder up, and then rolls to a cover, ONE! Kyle grinds the hold, Knight headscissors, and Knight squeezes tight. Kyle rolls, pops free, and floats back to the headlock!

The fans rally, but Knight fights up to his feet. Knight powers free to waistlock but Kyle switches. Kyle SLAMS Knight down, then BOOTS him right in the face! Kyle flexes, the fans are torn, but Knight frowns. Kyle mocks Kevin with clapping, and Knight says okay, if that’s how he wants to play… They circle, tie up, and Knight waistlocks. The fans fire up as Knight PLANCHAS, but Kyle slides inside to dodge! Kyle then runs up and CALF KICKS Knight down!

The fans rally as Kyle goes out and reels Knight in. POWER- NO, Knight pops free, then goes up the apron to FLYING LARIAT! The fans fire up with Knight while Kyle sputters. Knight slides into the ring, takes aim again, and he springboards to SUPER FLYING LARIAT! The fans fire up again, and Callis is shocked, while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Knight drags Kyle up, puts him in the ring, and aims from the apron. Knight springboards, Kyle gets under, and he comes back with an ELBOW! An almost Hidden Blade like elbow at that, and Kyle rains down fists! The ref reprimands and counts, no closed fists! Kyle stops to huff ‘n’ puff and storm around while Knight sputters. Kyle stands on the corner and flexes, soaking up cheers and jeers. Kyle storms back to Knight but Knight CHOPS! Knight shakes out his own hand, but then Kyle scoops and SLAMS him down! Kyle paces around while Knight writhes, and Kyle mocks the fans dueling between them.

Kyle lines up a shot, runs in at the corner, forearm SMASH! Then a wrenches and lift, BIG back suplex! Cover, TWO! Kyle sighs, but then he JUMP STOMPS! Kyle clamps onto Knight, Knight endures, and Knight rises up. Dynamite returns to single picture as Knight fires body shots. Knight is free and runs, but into a scoop! But Knight makes it a cradle! TWO! Kyle escapes and BOOTS Knight! Kyle runs, but Knight DROPKICKS! The fans fire up while both men are down again! “This is Awesome!” while the standing count climbs. Knight rises, Kyle is on the ropes, and Kyle storms upon Knight first! Knight fires haymakers, then blocks to fire more!

The fans rally as Knight gets the edge! Knight whips, then LARIATS Kyle in the corner! A whip corner to corner, and another LARIAT! Knight runs, ducks ‘n’ dodges, then LEAPING LARIATS! The fans fire up while both men are down again! Knight shakes out his bad arm, and he kips up! The fans cheer, Knight runs up, but Kyle BOOTS him! Kyle goes up, but into the UPPER ROOM! Knight drags himself back up, runs up, SATELLITE DDT! Callis admits, that was perfect! Cover, TWO!! Kyle survives but Knight will not be deterred! The fans fire up as Knight goes to the apron, but Kyle runs up! Knight RAMS low, then slingshots up and over, sunset flip! TWO!

Kyle is up again, but now Knight BOOTS him! Knight whips, Kyle reverses, and he catches Knight as he goes up and over! LAWN DART! The fans fire up while Knight sputters in the corner. Kyle runs up, but into an APRON SATELLITE DDT!!

The fans are losing their minds again as Knight shoves Kyle back in! Knight hurries to the corner and he climbs up top! The fans already give a standing ovation, but Kyle trips Knight up! The fans boo but Kyle climbs the corner. Kyle lifts Knight, but Knight slips free of the suplex! And he shoves Kyle onto his Aussie Arrow! Then pulls him into the Tree of Woe! Knight stomps a mudhole in, then he goes to the other corner! The fans fire up again as The Jet goes COAST2COAST!! The fans are thunderous, Knight hurries back up top, MOTHERSHIP SPLASH, ONTO KNEES!! Winner: Kyle Fletcher, by pinfall (gains 3 points; Knight earns 0)

And it is another incredible victory to make Kyle Fletcher 2-0 with 6 points! Callis grabs the mic to say, “I have something very important to say!” The fans boo that, but Callis says, “And you’re gonna wanna hear it, because it’s about The Young Bucks! But now, I’m gonna let you hear from the greatest wrestler I’ve ever seen, Kyle Fletcher! How you feelin’, big boy?” Callis hands the mic to Kyle while Josh Alexander & Hechicero bring those duffel bags of money out. Kyle says, “Not great, Don, I’ll be completely honest. Is that for me? You bringing that for me? I’ll take that.” Kyle stands to look at the money, and Callis says the fans are gonna hear every last sentence!

The fans boo more but just what is Callis going to say to and about Matt & Nick Jackson? We find out, after the break.

Dynamite returns and Callis is still berating the fans in Fishers.

“You’re very lucky that he even comes to this town! And now, I would like to discuss what happened last week with The Young Bucks! Y’know, Bucks, I could forgive a lot. You can lie to me, I could forgive that. You can cheat me, I could forgive that. You can KILL someone! I have forgiven that before. But the one thing that is an unforgivable sin is siding with Kenny Omega!” The fans cheer, but Callis tells The Bucks that he has something to add. “I have your money, Young Bucks! And I know that Kenny’s not gonna finance you. So if you don’t like it, I suggest, for the first time in your godforsaken lives, let your nuts drop, try to be men, and get in here and take it!”

The fans boo but here come Matt & Nick! The fans cheer and Kyle dares them to come get it. So they rush the ring! The Bucks dodge Kyle, DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS on Alexander & Hechi! Then they get Kyle with a B T E TRIGGER!! That was easier than they thought! They snatch up the bag, taunt Callis with it, but then in slides Okada! RAINMAKER on Matt!! Nick asks what the heck, man! Okada flips Nick off! Then he blocks Nick’s kick, and Alexander CHOP BLOCKS! Hechi gets back in, the Callis Family mugs The Bucks 3v2! The fans rally for “KENNY! KENNY!” But instead, we get Jurassic Express!

Jack Perry & Luchasaurus rush the ring, they DROPKICK Alexander and SMACK Okada! Luchasaurus TOSSES Hechi, Jack gets a boost! ARIHARA MOONSAULT! Down go Hechi & Alexander! Luchasaurus storms up on Okada, but Okada LOW BLOWS him! The fans boo but now Jack and Okada stare down. Okada flips Jack off, but Jack BITES that finger! The fans fire up as Omega then takes aim at Okada, only for Okada to bail! The Elite regroups while the Callis Family retreats, when and where will they settle the score?

The Babes of Wrath speak.

Harley Cameron remembers back to when Willow Nightingale was her second-ever opponent. She remembers then that Willow was kind and sweet and strong. She also beat the snot out of her, so being friends and teammates today still blows Harley’s mind. Willow says they’ve both already been through so much. 8 Woman Tags, Fatal 4 Ways, Tailgate Brawls, and even Blood & Guts! It is a joy teaming together with the same kind of crazy. Not a lot of people believed they could get this far, but that didn’t matter because they believed in themselves. They’re done relying on surprises or upsets. They are ready to be THE first-ever AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions!

So it doesn’t matter who is standing across the ring from them, they’re coming in ready. Who are they? The Babes! What do they have? The Wrath! BABES OF WRATH! BABES OF WRATH!! But then, who will feel the wrath in the tournament finals? We’re about to find out!

AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament Semifinals, Hardcore Holiday Deathmatch: Timeless Love Bombs VS #MegaProblem!

Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa won the Full Gear Fatal 4 Way Tag and earned the right to add a stipulation to this tournament match. They wanted revenge for the brutality seen in Blood & Guts, so they chose a match that would do away with tagging in and out, do away with disqualifications and count-outs, and that could only be one by pinfalls, submissions, or knockouts! Will Toni & Mina prove they are indeed knockouts? Or will Megan Bayne & Marina Shafir make them #BowDown?

Toni already wraps her fist in that pearl necklace of hers, and she goes right up to ROCK Marina! The bell rings, the fans fire up, and the brawl is on! But Marina turns things around with KNEES while Megan fires off forearms on Mina! The fans rally, Marina and Megan double whip, but Toni & Mina hit STEREO THEZS PRESSES! They rain down fast hands, then keep after the #MegaProblems with STEREO DDTS! Megan & Marina bail out, Toni & Mina go to the apron! Mina calls to Toni, and Toni basement DROPKICKS Megan! The fans fire up with the Love Bombs, and we see Marina is busted open! Toni scoops Mina to YOYO SPLASH her on Megan! Kendo stick included! Mina snarls and gets the candy cane outta the way. The Love Bombs drag the Megasus up, but she blocks the suplex! Megan DOUBLE SUPLEXES the Love Bombs! Not the cleanest, but damage done! Megan puts Toni on the ropes, Marina storms in, and she TIGER FEINT SPIKES Toni! Megan hauls Mina up, and she THROWS Mina out onto Toni! The fans are torn but Marina smiles while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Marina goes looking under the ring, Megan helps out, and they go to the table. They dump off the gifts to take the table itself. The Love Bombs regroup while said table is put in the ring. Marina starts setting the table while Megan DECK SToni! And SMACKS her with that kendo stick! Megan SMACKS Mina, too! The Love Bombs writhe, Marina RAMS Toni into railing, and she puts Toni in. Then Marina drags Mina up, puts her in the ring, and Megan aims for the table. Toni slips free but Marina KICKS her down! Megan CLUBS Toni, then she goes out to fetch the present on the other table. The shape is rather suspicious…

Megan says it’s for her, what could it be? Well, Marina got herself a frying pan, and then surprise! Megan unwraps a golden chair! And she throws it to Toni, so she can SHOTGUN it into her! Dynamite returns to single picture as the Love Bombs are put through the ropes. Marina SMACKS Mina in the stomach with the frying pan while Megan CLUBS Toni in the chest! And again, and again, and again! The Mega Problems go all the way to TEN, then they flip off the fans. The fans boo, but Megan has her chair! And she SMACKS Toni on the back! Marina SPANKS Toni with the pan! SMACK with the chair! SPANK with the pan!

But Mina climbs! Toni ducks the double shot, chair and frying pan collide! Marina is disarmed, Mina MISSILE DROPKICKS the chair into Megan’s face! The fans fire up and Toni drags Megan to the apron! Marina BOOTS Mina down, but Toni gives Megan a STORM ZERO through the outside table!! The fans lose their minds, but Marina says screw it, she’s going to wrap this up. SAYANAGI on Mina, into MOTHER’S MILK!! Mina endures, fights the hold, but Toni is able to slide a piece of a cue stick to Mina! Mina grabs hold, and she DIGS it into Marina’s face!! Mina goes after Marina with the sharp wood!! Mina then jackknife bridges, TWO!!

Mina URAKENS Marina! Marina tumbles, Mina fires up, and Toni stands with her. Toni gives Mina the boost to go up, up, and SUPER DUPER CROSSBODY! Down goes Marina! The fans fire up as Mina puts Marina back in! Toni finds that golden chair, brings it around, and Mina climbs up! FLYING SLINGBLADE into the chair!! Cover, MEGAN CLOBBERS TONI ONTO IT! Megan still lives, but Mina brings Marina up. Mina aims for the table, Marina fights the suplex, and Marina snap suplexes Mina first! Then Megan SPEARS Mina down through the other table!! But Toni waistlocks Megan! Marina SMACKS Toni with the chair!

Megan and Marina coordinate, they get Toni up for the FATE’S- NO, Toni slips free, and she STORM ZEROS Megan onto Marina! Megan tumbles out, Marina writhes, and SANTA IS HERE?! The fans go wild for Santa Claus, and he says he has a gift for Marina. Marina says fine, give it here! She snatches the box away, but it’s just a MIDDLE FINGER! That’s not Santa, that’s LUTHER! And Toni GERMAN SUPLEXES Marina onto tacks??! And then THE SHOE~! And the BIG PACKAGE! LOVE BOMBS WIN!!

Winners: The Timeless Love Bombs, by pinfall (advance to the finals)

They raised the stakes and they won the gable, Toni & Mina are moving on to the championship match! But will the inaugural champions be TIMELESS? Or will they #FeelTheWrath as Winter is Coming?

AEW hears from The Triangle of Madness and their nemeses.

Julia Hart calls out Jamie Hayter. “What’d you not learn from Blood & Guts?” Thekla tells Kris Statlander, “You sure do a lot of sticking your alien ass into the Triangle’s business. Why do you call yourself ‘Big Stat Daddy’ when you really just a little baby b*tch?” But Kris says says she has never heard someone talk so much like a champ without actually being one. But hey, fake it ’til you make it, right? So just name the time, the place, the date, the state, and she will not hesitate to make you call her Daddy! Jamie says wow! Now, while Jamie and Kris might not be friends, they have enemies in common.

So how about this? Cardiff Collision, there’s not much else to do in Cardiff except beat people up, so it will be them doing that to Skye & Julia. Kris likes that idea. And then after that, Kris and Jamie can… have a little chat. About what? Oh, right. But can Stat & Hayter Hit Hard enough to break the Triangle of Madness? Or will the Sisters of Sin drag them down into the abyss?

The Dark Order walks ‘n’ talks.

Evil Uno says, “Finally it happens! A moment years in the making. Dark Order is back on Dynamite and we have an opportunity like none other. If we win tonight, we get a chance at the AEW Trios Championships. We have been-” But then Alex Reynolds notices Hangman Page storming past and stops him. Reynolds tells The Cowboy, “Look, I know you’re lookin’ for blood, but whatever you do, don’t ruin this for us.” Hangman says, “Fine. I owe you that, at least. But the second this match is over, they are mine.” Hangman heads out, Uno says ignore that and let’s get ’em! Will Uno, Silver & Reynolds finally turn things around? Or will they see The Opps are #NeverLacking?

Backstage interview with Mercedes Mone.

Renee is now with The CEO, “Thirteen Belts Mone,” #UltimoMone, and namely the Undisputed ROH Women’s World Television Champion. Renee notes that we have not seen Mone since Full Gear when she was unsuccessful in her match against- Mone stops Renee there, then takes a breath. And another. Mone says, “I am a global icon. Thirteen Belts Ultimo Mone. PWI’s number one wrestler of the year. Does that sound UNSUCCESSFUL to you?!” Renee says no, it does not, sorry. But this Friday, she defends the ROH Women’s TV title against Red Velvet- “Who I’ve already beaten,” Mone points out.

Mone says if TK wants Mone to beat Velvet again, she’ll gladly do it. “Red, you wanna talk a lot of talk on ROH and Collision, when you know I’m not there. But here I am on Dynamite, where I am every single week, and where are you? Home? Hiding? Still crying about this title that I took from you? HAHAHAHA! Well, Red, since you said I am a fighting champion, I’ll give you another chance to fall off the Money Train again. And since you wanna say I never show up to ROH, you can watch me this week on Honor Club to get a little preview of Final Battle. Because, Red, there’s a price to pay when you talk down on Mone.”

The CEO smiles as she holds up the ROH Women’s TV title, but will Mone’s first week on ROH TV also be her last?

FTR speaks.

Stokely Hathaway says, “Tonight is the greatest night of my life. Why? Because FTR are the AEW World Tag Team Champions. But I need to address what happened last Saturday on Collision. The greatest tag team of all time were having a celebration, but they were interrupted by Austin Gunn & Juice Robinson. But the worst part about it all is they said they wanted to be champions for Colten Gunn & Jay White. So, lemme get this straight. Instead of wanting to be champions for AEW, instead of wanting to cement your legacy, instead of wanting to inspire a whole generation of tag team wrestlers… You wanna be champions to pop the boys on the injured list? How pathetic!”

Cash Wheeler tells Austin & Juice, “You talk about how you were the last team to beat FTR, but make no mistake, that is the last time you’ll beat FTR. When it matters, you will not get the job done. Austin, who was it that ended your AEW World Tag Team title reign? I don’t remember. Oh, wait, it was us. And Juice, you don’t care if it takes an hour? 15 minutes in, you couldn’t get the job done, #AndStill. When it comes down to it, you are always gonna be Billy’s Boy & Mr. Storm.” Dax Harwood asks if Juice has anything been more than a walk-behinder. Dax has known Juice’s whole career, and all he’s ever been is the bag carrier.

And now, Juice is the leader of the group, power has gone to his head, and he decided that he’s just as good as the big dogs, the world tag team champions. Good luck with that. And Austin, how great that he has this nice, cushy job thanks to your daddy. You’ll have a job forever, this is a paycheck for you. But for Dax, this is his life! 21 years in, and this title is his life! And Austin went and put his hand on Dax’s life? Saturday night, FTR will be live on Collision, and they dare Bang Bang Gang to do that one more time. #TopGuysOut.

AEW World Trios Championships Title Eliminator: The Opps VS The Dark Order!

Samoa Joe had his talk with Eddie Kingston, but now his lieutenants will look to send a message to Hangman throw his former friends. Will Hobbs, Shibata & Hook destroy what is left of The Dark Order? Or can Uno, Silver & Reynolds make the most of this golden opportunity?

But then The Opps just CLOBBER Dark Order the moment they’re on the apron! The fans boo but Hobbs drags Reynolds up, Hook CLUBS Silver down, and Shibata is after Uno. Hook SMACKS Silver off the apron, Hobbs CLUBS Reynolds, and Shibata whips Uno hard into railing! Hobbs whips Reynolds hard into railing on the other side, and Hook sends Silver into barriers! The fans boo but the beating continues, despite this not being a match. Hook puts Silver in, the bell rings, but Silver KICKS! And KICKS! And KICKS! The fans fire up for Silver as he KICKS, KICKS, KICKS! Silver fire sup, runs the ropes, but Hook catches him! SHOULDER CAPTURE PLEX!

Reynolds gets away from Hobbs to go after Hook, he ducks ‘n’ dodges to then DIVE back out, only for Hobbs to catch him! Hobbs pops Reynolds up, APRON POWERSLAM! Hobbs THROWS Reynolds away, Uno ROCKS Hook and KICKS Hobbs! Uno goes up, but Shibata BOOTS him down! Shibata goes after Uno again, KICKS him in the side, then rejoins the others. The Opps all soak up the heat while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Hook paces, Hobbs gives him a neck massage, then Hook goes out to fetch Silver. Hook whips Silver into the steel steps! Hook drags Silver up, puts him back in the ring, and drags him up again. Hook CLAWS Silver’s eyes, bumps him off buckles, then THROWS him away! Hook soaks up heat, stalks Silver to the corner, then stomps away! The ref counts, Hook stops at 4, and he soaks up more heat. Hook goes back to Silver, but Silver CHOPS! And CHOPS! And CHOPS again! Hook CHOPS Silver down! Hook tags Shibata, The Opps mug him, and Shibata CHOPS Silver right down! Shibata drags Silver up and around to then CHOP back down!

Shibata drags Silver around to CHOP on the back! Shibata tags Hobbs, they mug Silver more, then Hobbs scoops to BACKBREAKER! Silver writhes, Hobbs swaggers, and Hobbs taunts The Dark Order before he goes back to Silver. Hobbs suplexes Silver, holds him up for TEN, then SLAMS him down! Hobbs smirks as he drags Silver over, and he tags Hook. Hook stomps Silver’s leg, then drags him around again. Dynamite returns to single picture, the fans rally up, and silver fires elbows! Hook swings, but Silver ducks to GERMAN SUPLEX! Both men are down and the fans fire up! Hot tag to Uno and the fans fire up!

Uno dodges Hook to then BOOT Hobbs and ELBOW Shibata! Uno DECKS Hook! The fans fire up as Uno then mule kicks Shibata! Back body block on Hook! Back body block on Shibata! LARIAT on Hook! CHOP on Shibata! LARIAT on Hook, CHOP LARIAT on Shibata! Then Uno BOOTS Shibata, kicks Hook, and he reels them both in! DOUBLE DDTS! The fans fire up with Uno, but Hobbs is back! The fans chant for “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” Uno CHOPS Hobbs, but Hobbs just smirks. Uno CHOPS, and then SLAPS! Hobbs is pissed now! Uno dodges the lariat, comes back, but Hobbs LARIATS after all!

Hobbs scoops for the WORLD’S MOST DANGEROUS SLAM! Cover, Silver & Reynolds break it! The fans fire up as they HAMMER away on Hobbs! But Hobbs is just annoyed, and he grabs both of them by the neck! But they break free, and they DOUBLE SUPERKICK! The fans fire up, but Hobbs stays up! Hobbs runs in, Silver & Reynolds dodge his lariats, but they get caught into STEREO SLEEPERS! Hobbs hits the SPINEBUSTER on Uno! Cover, Opps win!

Winners: The Opps, by pinfall (deny The Dark Order a title match)

The Opps Dojo trainees celebrate with their senseis, but then wait! Here comes Hangman! He kept his promise, he waited until things were over! Hook runs for it but Hangman DECKS Shibata and fires hands on Hobbs! His fist is wrapped in chain as he HAMMERS Hobbs! Hobbs shoves Hangman away, but Hangman fires more shots! But Shibata KICKS Hangman’s leg out! Shibata & Hobbs mug Hangman, and Hobbs wraps his own fist in chain! but Hangman ducks and the LARIAT hits Shibata! Then Hangman brings out a glass beer bottle from inside his jacket! Hangman SMASHES it on Hobbs’ head!

Hangman then goes to the apron, takes aim, and slingshot, but security rushes out here! They save Hobbs from the Buckshot and swarm Hangman! The fans boo but The Opps retreat for now. Hangman throws hands on security! He doesn’t care about fines, that’s just money! He BOOTS one guy, then slingshots for the BUCKSHOT on another! The Cowboy storms up the ramp to chase after The Opps, but will he get the complete revenge that he wants before World’s End?

BREAKING NEWS for AEW’s December line-up!

First, this year’s Holiday Bash will be a THREE-HOUR SPECIAL, combining Dynamite & Collision for one awesome night! Then, the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royale returns! The last two remaining stars will then advance to the “Dynamite Diamond Ring Finals” at the Dynamite on 34th Street event on Christmas Eve! Then the winner of that match will get their shot at the AEW World Championship for Dynamite: Maximum Carnage, January 14th of the New Year! Who cashes in for the biggest Christmas present anyone could ever ask for?

Backstage interview with The Don Callis Family.

Specifically, Renee is with Okada, Fletcher and The Jackal himself. She asks if it is safe to assume that The Bucks will not be joining The Family any time soon? Callis says he is tired of answering negative questions. Why is she so negative all the time? Okada says what happened out there was all Takeshita’s fault. He let them down again! Callis says sorry, but no, Takeshita is busy with training for his own Continental Classic match this Saturday on Collision. But then Takeshita appears! And The Alpha says, “Actually, Don… I’m right here.” Callis & Kyle step in between Okada and Takeshita to keep things civil.

Callis says he is very confident that with these three studs, the Continental Championship will come back to the Don Callis Family. Renee asks that if he is so confident, why is he not putting both parts of the Unified Championship as the prize? Callis says he’ll make this as simple as he can for her and the fans, as there are a lot of uneducated blondes who don’t understand basic things. At All In, Okada went in as Continental Champion, he defeated Kenny Omega in one of the greatest days in Callis’ life. That meant Okada became International Champion. Now, to some people, these are big concepts that they can’t understand.

As such, The Callis Family have created a symbol which is the Unified Championship, representing the two legs, aka the International and the Continental. Is that easy to understand? Yes, but that doesn’t really answer the question. Why not put both legs in? Callis says because HE is not an idiot, he doesn’t do things to be charitable, he doesn’t make risky bets. Why put the International Championship on the line for anything unless they had to? That’s what degenerate gamblers like Nick Jackson do! Kyle says regardless, with Kyle at 6 points, Takeshita on 3 and Okada on 3, the Callis Family is guaranteed to bring home the Continental Championship at the end.

Callis says he feels good hearing those words. Kyle also promises that the International Championship is not going anywhere. It is staying right here. Love it! But will the family really stay dominant through the rest of the C2? Or could someone really ruin those plans for them?

Hangman Page speaks.

The Cowboy paces around, then shouts, “For THREE year, for three years, I’ve fought to get back to the world championship. I gave three years of my life, of my sweat, of my blood, to get to that championship. I fought Ospreay, I fought Fletcher, I fought everyone on this damn roster to get it, and the person who cost me the world championship is Hook! Is HOOK! Joe, for you, for you, Full Gear was The Opps’ crowning moment. But for me, it was but a bump in the road, Joe, because whether it’s from you or from Eddie, I will take that championship back. It will be mine.

“And Hobbs, Shibata, if you want to fight, then you have got one. Next week, Atlanta, Georgia, Winter is Coming. Hobbs & Shibata, I will not be alone. You know who is coming for you. Get your affairs in order.” Does that mean what it sounds like?! Will Hobbs & Shibata have a shootout with The Cowboy and The Most Dangerous Man in AEW?

2025 Continental Classic Blue League: Jon Moxley VS Claudio Castagnoli!

For the first time in their AEW careers, we see The Maniac and the Swiss Cyborg battle it out 1v1, and for a very crucial second round win in the C2. It is Death Rider VS Death Rider and iron sharpens iron, but who will be left standing at the top of the block?

The bell rings, the fans are losing their minds already, and the two circle. They feel things out, Claudio shoots in for a leg, then a facelock, but Moxley fights the suplex. Moxley waistlocks, then he clinches, but Claudio powers him down to the mat. Claudio goes for the arm, Moxley fights it off, and the ref only now realizes Marina Shafir is lingering ringside. He orders her to leave per the Continental Rules, and she obliges. Claudio puts Moxley in the corner, the ref counts, but both men take their time letting go. The fans rally as the two circle again. They knuckle lock, they go shoulder to shoulder in a Test of Strength, and the fans rally for “BALD! BALD! BALD!”

Claudio powers Moxley to the mat, cover, ONE as Moxley gets the arm up. Claudio pushes it down, ONE as Moxley gets the other arm up. Claudio pushes the arm back down, ONE as Moxley bridges! Moxley fights and turns, but Claudio DOUBLE STOMPS him down! The fans are torn, but Claudio stands Moxley up to UPPERCUT! Claudio stalks Moxley to the corner, UPPERCUTS again, and stalks Moxley to another corner. Claudio CHOPS, whips, and runs up, but into a BOOT! Moxley gets in Claudio’s face to egg him on, then pie faces so he can CHOP! Moxley fires forearms and CHOPS on repeat!

Claudio scowls but Moxley CLAWS Claudio’s back! Moxley puts Claudio in a corner, then climbs up to rain down fists! The fans count along, Moxley goes past TEN, then CLAWS Claudio’s eyes after about 13! The ref counts, Moxley hops down, and he wrenches to wristlock. Moxley SNAPS the fingers! Claudio still scoops to BACKBREAKER! Moxley bails out, Claudio pursues, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Claudio RAMS Moxley into steel steps! Moxley falls in a heap, clutches his shoulder, but Claudio brings the steel steps around. Claudio stands them up on their side, then has Moxley by the legs! Claudio SWINGS Moxley into the steel steps! Moxley is down in a daze while the ref reprimands Claudio. Claudio rolls into the ring to wait on Moxley. Moxley drags himself to the railing while the ring count climbs, but Claudio goes back out after him. Moxley pokes Claudio in the eyes! The ref reprimands Moxley now but he ROCKS and CHOPS Claudio on repeat! Moxley whips, Claudio reverses, and Moxley hits barriers hard! He even tumbles up and over them!

The fans cheer as Moxley is down in the front row. Claudio hops the barriers to haul Moxley up, and RAM him into the barriers again! Then he UPPERCUTS Moxley! Moxley flops back over the barriers, and we see he is busted open from the collision with the steps. Claudio pursues Moxley, puts him in the ring, and storms in after him. Claudio runs to BOOT Moxley! Moxley flounders to ropes, Claudio bumps him off buckles, and bumps him off more buckles! Moxley staggers around, Claudio GRINDS Moxley’s face against the ropes, then headlock punches! Moxley fires a forearm, Claudio fires back, and repeat!

Dynamite returns to single picture once more as the forearms keep going! The fans rally, duel, and fire up as the shots keep going! Moxley HEADBUTTS Claudio again and again! A little double edged, but Moxley runs, only for Claudio to catch the shotgun dropkick! And now GIANT SWING! The fans fire up as Moxley goes around and around and around, and Claudio stops at eight to step through the legs! SHARPSHOOTER! Moxley endures, blood pouring out, and Claudio sits deep on the hold! Moxley fights, claws at the mat, and reaches out. But Claudio turns around to shift into a CROSSFACE! And he rolls Moxley from the ropes!

Moxley endures, even with the hands in his face! The fans rally and duel as Moxley fights to a cover, TWO! Claudio lets go, but now Moxley has him! BULLY CHOKE! Claudio fights up, Moxley shifts sides, and he becomes a backpack! Claudio swings Moxley off of him, only for Moxley to ROCK Claudio! Claudio fires back, the shots go back and forth again! The fans fire up as this gets fast ‘n’ furious! Moxley JABS, BODY SHOTS, and FOREARMS! But Claudio ducks a shot to UPPERCUT! Moxley staggers back, Claudio runs up, but Moxley DUMPS him out! Then he DIVES! Claudio is sent into the desk!

The fans fire up again and Moxley rises up. The fans hope these two “Fight Forever!” but first off, C2 matches have 20 minute time limits, it’d be a draw if this went forever! Moxley hurries after Claudio, puts him in the ring, and he runs up, but into an UPPER- NO, Moxley makes it a backslide! TWO, CUTTER!! Claudio staggers up, and he LARIATS in return! Both men are down and the fans cheer on “A E DUB! A E DUB!” We get the 10 minute notice, we’re halfway through that aforementioned time limit. The two men rise up with the standing count, and they’re up at 5 of 10. Claudio reels Moxley in, Gotch Lift, but Moxley fights the lift!

Moxley pushes on the legs, slips around, and he has the SLEEPER! The fans rally, Claudio endures, but Moxley spins Claudio to try the Gotch Lift! Claudio BACKDROPS, Moxley sunset flips it! TWO, and Claudio has the legs again! But Moxley bridges up to drag Claudio down to a cover! TWO!! Claudio escapes, both men stagger up, and Claudio UPPERCUTS in the corner! Claudio throws off the elbow pad and runs, but into a POLISH HAMMER! Then LARIAT!! Both men are down again and the fans fire up! Moxley huffs ‘n’ puffs as he rises up again, and he watches Claudio. The fans rally, both men stand, and Moxley runs! CURB- NO, Claudio dodges!

Moxley comes back, CURB STOMP after al!! Cover, TWO!! Claudio survives, but Moxley is right on him! REAR NAKED CHOKE!! Claudio endures, fights around, but Moxley shifts to a facelock. Claudio still rises, and he lifts Moxley to DUMP him out of the ring! The fans fire up and Claudio rolls outside. Claudio runs up to UPPERCUT Moxley into the railing! Moxley staggers all the way to the far side, so Claudio just runs in again! DOUBLE STOMPS on Moxley against the chair!! The fans fire up as Claudio stands Moxley up against the steps. Claudio UPPERCUTS again and again, then gets space. Claudio runs in and UPPERCUTS Moxley against the steps!

Claudio puts Moxley back in the ring, then hurries to run and LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Moxley survives, but Claudio reels him right in! Claudio tucks the arms, RICOLA~ BOMB!! Cover, TWO!!! Moxley survives, and he just eggs Claudio on!! The fans are thunderous as they’re forehead to forehead, and Claudio UPPERCUTS! Moxley fires a forearm, Claudio UPPERCUTS, repeat! Shot for shot, then Moxley CLAWS the eyes! Moxley runs, but into the POP-UP- NO! Moxley CLAWS eyes again! But Claudio still ROCKS Moxley! Moxley kicks low, PARADIGM SHIFT!! But Moxley can’t make the cover, he’s too beat up!

The fans rally up while Moxley and Claudio go to corners. Moxley and Claudio stare each other down, then they rise up. The five minute warning, and UPPERCUT!!! Cover, CLAUDIO WINS!!!

Winner: Claudio Castagnoli, by pinfall (gains 3 points; Moxley earns 0)

It was a brutal 15 minutes, and then it all ends in the blink of an eye! The Swiss Cyborg, the Emissary of Violence, just beat the former AEW World Champion and the Death Riders’ leader! The other Death Riders arrive to celebrate and support both men, but it is now Claudio leading the way in Blue League! But now both men have to turn right around for their third C2 matches! Claudio VS Mascara Dorada, Moxley VS Konosuke Takeshita, will the Death Riders continue to dominate the block?

My Thoughts:

An awesome Dynamite here as like the one non-themed episode between all the holiday episodes. Great promo segment from Joe and Eddie to open things, and Eddie got to verbally serve Joe because in the end, Joe’s gonna win at Winter is Coming. And I found it a bit funny that Eddie said he was wrapping things so we could get to wrestling, and then Opps had to talk for themselves. But naturally, they had a match and used The Dark Order to stick it to Hangman. Great stuff with Hangman going after The Opps, scaring them off and all that, and then great promo afterward to set up what is clearly Shibata & Hobbs VS Hangman & Swerve. That will be awesome stuff, really.

But with the sudden news of the convoluted route to a title match at Maximum Carnage, you can bet Hangman and Swerve each get in the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royal for Holiday Bash. Then it could easily be Hangman VS Swerve for Dynamite on 34th Street, and the winner of that faces Joe for the title. And even with the 40+ day road map set out, I bet Joe still wins at Maximum Carnage. With that, maybe it is Swerve VS Joe in Arizona, then we get Hangman VS Joe: The Final Round after that. Maybe. I don’t remember if there are PPVs in January, but a PPV feels like the only place Joe would lose the title.

Very good promo from Triangle of Madness and good response from Hayter and Statlander. They’ll have a really good tag match, and I feel like Thekla gets involved. It probably won’t be a straight up Kris VS Hayter, we might get a Triple Threat of Kris VS Hayter VS Thekla at World’s End or something. Very good promo from Harley & Willow to not only give us perspective on their friendship, but also hype up the tag tournament. Awesome “Hardcore Holiday Death Match” tonight, they took holiday theming to a very creative place, especially with Luther Claus showing up. We could’ve had one less false finish, and then I was actually a little surprised Toni & Mina won. But now we get Faces VS Faces, the tag title match will be awesome now.

Very good promo from Mark Briscoe on his own, he was Serious Mark here, and that was good stuff for calling out Daniel Garcia. Not sure we also then needed a Conglomeration group promo where he was Happy Mark again, but it was still a good promo to help hype up Cassidy VS Roddy for Collision. And them making a point of Darby being in the hospital, hopefully that isn’t a real injury, let alone a serious one, but it is understandable why we’re getting some staggered schedules in the tournament now since we won’t get Darby’s match with Mike Bailey and they gotta use who they have.

And of course, awesome stuff with the Continental Classic, as well as using it to help along other stories. Obviously the Conglomeration dysfunction is one, but there is also the Don Callis Family’s feud with the new new new Elite, and even their own dysfunction from Okada and Takeshita. Okada VS Pac was awesome, great quick pin win for Okada. Then Fletcher VS Knight managed to outdo Okada VS Pac, and a great win for Fletcher to keep winning. I believe I said this last week, but it is odd timing that The Elite and DCF can seemingly set up a 5v5 but Blood & Guts is past. Moxley VS Claudio was an awesome main event, really pushing that overrun, but awesome win for Claudio. This can even further add to the doubts in Moxley’s leadership skills, and the eventual mutiny by the crew.

My Score: 9/10
