Or will Dustin, Sammy, Marshall & Ross stand tall and ride off into the sunset?

The Code of Honor is NOT upheld as Team Texas agrees, The Kingdom & Dark Order don’t deserve respect! So Kingdom & Dark Order take swings, but Team Texas block, to QUADRUPLE IRON CLAW! The fans fire up, Evil Uno runs in, but Marshall grabs him, DOUBLE IRON CLAW! Marshall makes Silver and Uno both fall, and now things spill out of the ring! Dustin goes after Reynolds up the ramp while the others are all around ringside! Sammy winds up to CHOP Bennett! Dustin DECKS Reynolds! Ross is after Taven, and whips him into a POST! But Silver sends Marshall into steel steps! Dustin ROCKS Reynolds again!

The ROH World Television Champion is looking to keep that spotlight on him, and he is teaming up with some fellow masked luchadores in order to show the world what that style is all about! Will the CMLL-ROH crossover continue to do big things? Or will The Machine, the Cameroonian Prince and the Samoan Lion prove why they’re still the most dangerous trio in ROH?

The trios sort out and #SNAKEMAN starts against Toa Liona. The fans chant for “LUCHA! LUCHA!” Liona wants the Code of Honor but Serpentico doesn’t trust him. Liona takes a swing, Serpentico dodges and the bell rings! Serpentico fires hands, CHOPS, but Liona doesn’t flinch! Serpentico runs, Liona scoops, but Serpentico slips free. Serpentico runs, slides under, then CHOPS! Serpentico runs again, dropkicks a leg out, then runs to SATELLITE DDT! But Liona just sits up! Liona smiles, then he TOSSES Serpentico to the corner! The fans already chant “Pose Forever,” so MXM POSE! The Code of Honor is offered in the form of fingertip touching, but POD try to BITE the tips! MXM says no, that is not honorable! The bell rings, Mansoor starts against Grey, and they circle. They tie up, Grey puts Mansoor in a corner, and Mansoor freaks out as Grey pets him! The ref counts, Grey lets off, and Grey shouts! The fans shout with him while Mansoor frowns. Mansoor runs up, gets around and headlocks. Grey powers up and out, scoops, but Mansoor slips free! Mansoor headlocks again, but Grey powers up and back suplexes! Grey roars, unaware Mansoor landed out of it!

Mansoor headlocks again, and he grinds the hold. Grey endures, pries at the hold, and then he BITES Mansoor’s hands! The ref reprimands, Mansoor panics about his hand, but Grey TOSSES him to the apron! Mansoor lands safe, RAMS into Grey, then goes up and over to strut and POSE! The fans cheer, Grey runs up but Mansoor sidesteps, drops down and leaps, but into Grey’s fireman’s carry! DEATH VALLEY- NO, Mansoor manages to land out! Parviz CHOKES Mansoor, then he warns Mason. Parviz CLUBS Mansoor down, then CLUBS him down again! Parviz hits Grey for the tag and Grey picks Mansoor up to BEARHUG! Mansoor endures, grits his teeth, and he BITES Grey! Mansoor ROCKS Grey, ROCKS him again and kicks. Grey ducks the enzigiri to YANK Mansoor up, but Mansoor PELES! Every moment of doubt has led to this right now, making this man right here, Lee Moriarty, into one of the greatest young technical pro-wrestlers on the planet!

Shane does have something he wants to tell Lee. Shane is someone that leads by example, and he is so proud of Lee. But to be the leader Shane needs to be is to get championship gold of his own. And the only reason he isn’t holding gold right now as ROH World TV Champion, is because his shoulder got messed up. Shane was knocking everyone out in that ring, but it won’t be long until he’s back. So Mark Briscoe, hang onto Shane’s title for him. Shane will be back for what is his. Rumble, Bad Man, Rumble!

Pure Rules Match: Angelico VS Aaron Solo!

Well speaking of the Pure Renaissance, and of getting title opportunities, two young stars are looking to take on TAIGASTYLE! Will the South African Stud and his llave lucha style prove himself worthy? Or will The Extra Talented Solo finally start to impress people around here?

Tonight’s judges are Jerry Lynn, Christopher Daniels and Paul Wight. Wait, did Solo really just slip Wight some money? That’s not going to work, especially if he loses… The Code of Honor is upheld, though maybe sarcastically by Solo. The bell rings, we have 15 minutes, and the fans rally up. The two circle, tie up, and Solo wrenches to a wristlock. Angelico spins, slips through, and has a cording hold! The fans cheer as Angelico wrangles Solo. Angelico then changes the angle on the armlock to use his own neck for leverage. Then Angelico swings Solo around, wrenches and wristlocks. The fans cheer, but Solo slips under and headlocks.

Solo hits the takeover, gloats, but Angelico fights up. Angelico wrenches out, then he trips Solo to have the leg, NAPALM DEATH! Solo scrambles and uses the ROPEBREAK! That is his first, but he had no chance against the Ankle Lock Calf Slicer hybrid. The two reset, the fans rally, and the two tie up. Angelico waistlocks, Solo switches, but Angelico switches. They switch some more, and Angelico trips Solo. Angelico then slips around and goes from gut wrench to drop toehold, back to NAPALM DEATH! The fans cheer, Solo scrambles forward again, and uses the ROPEBREAK! That’s his second, and we’re only two minutes in!

Solo gets frustrated, and he circles with Angelico again. Solo calls for the knuckle lock, then he kicks low! The fans boo but Solo CLUBS Angelico. Solo clinches, throws knees, then whips. Solo whips Angelico but Angelico blocks! Angelico is holding ropes, but the ref uses his judgment to say no ropebreak. Solo KNEES Angelico low! Solo whips, but Angelico reverses to SOBAT! Angelico whips, but Solo reverses. Angelico rolls off Solo’s back, Solo jumps the sweep but the EDDY GORDO KICK hits! We’re under 10 minutes here and Angelico trips Solo! NAVARRO DEATH ROLL!! Solo has the ropes but they won’t save him! Angelico THRASHES the hold, Solo taps! Angelico wins!

So he has one question for everybody: “How do you start when we already know how it ends? Dig what I’m saying?”

Serpentico tells Angelico that he got a tremendous victory tonight. Angelico says yeah, more or less. But Serpentico says Angelico should definitely go for the Pure Championship. Wait, really? Angelico goes for the title after his very first Pure Rules match? SI! Angelico says Snakeman’s crazy! But Serpentico says if Angelico does, he’ll make his teacher very proud. Think about it. Angelico vibes, and admits, it would make Navarro proud. Angelico will do it! He tells Lee Moriarty he has seen Lee’s “technical evolution.” And there’s no doubting Lee is THE best young technical wrestler in the world today.

But… Lee is not the protege of Negro Navarro. Lee is not a master of llave. Angelico is challenging Lee Moriarty for that ROH Pure Championship match! It will be a technical spectacle for the whole world to enjoy. All Lee has to do is accept. Angelico goes back to vibing, but will he soon be thriving here in ROH?

Matthew Menard & Angelo Parker VS Jacoby Watts & Nick Comoroto!

Daddy Magic & Cool Hand Ange are back! And if there’s two things these two know about, it’s tag team wrestling, and getting out of the shadow of a “mentor” who’s only in it for himself. Will Menard & Parker help Comoroto see Watts for the false prophet he is? Or does Watts have the Freak Beast too deeply under his spell?

The bell rings, but before things get started, Watts has the mic to ask Menard & Parker to meet him in the center of the ring. Menard & Parker oblige, and Watts says this is Daddy Magic & Cool Hand Ange, and then Comoroto and Watts. That’s 4Point0 to him! That’s an A grade in any school he’s ever been to. All they have to do is live by one simple creed: “Praise be to He, and He is Me.” But 2Point0 SMACK the mic and Watts down! The fans cheer, Comoroto runs up, but 2Point0 DUMP him out! Watts runs up, but into a DOUBLE RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! The fans cheer more, but Comoroto returns!

Menard & Parker dodge to double kick, double wrench, and double RAM! Comoroto’s a big man, though, so they RAM him again! Still nothing going, and then Comoroto RAMS 2Point0 down! The fans boo but Comoroto digs his boots into Parker at the corner. The ref counts, Comoroto lets off, and he fires body shots on Parker! Then he UPPERCUTS and Parker falls over. Well as always, “Smart” Mark has to stop the ring announcer so he can talk. Sterling says this is Tony Nese, and everyone is wondering why The Premier Athletes are on every show of every day of every week! That’s because The Premier Athletes equal ratings! Sterling has been told that every Honor Club episode that Nese is on is the highest rated episode of all time! That is because Nese walks like a star, talks like a star, wrestles like a star, and wins like a star! And tonight, Nese shows his opponent what winning is, which is something Texas knows nothing about! Sterling rests his case, but is The Bad Child about to make him eat those words?

The Code of Honor is upheld, but then Nese sucker punches Lio at the bell! Nese fires off forearms, has Lio in a corner, but lets off to shout, “That’s why I’m a Premier Athlete!” Nese TOSSES Lio out, argues with the ref, but Sterling stomps away on Lio! The fans boo but Nese says they saw nothing! Lio drags himself up while the ring count climbs, and Lio heads for the ring. Nese drags Lio up, suplexes, but Lio slips free! Lio slides under, UP KICKS, then storms up, but Nese whips! LIo reverses, then rolls under to bypass, redirect, redirect again, but then fake Nese out and LARIAT! And LARIAT!

The fans fire up and Lio runs in at the corner, but Nese puts him on the apron. Lio ROCKS Nese, then RAMS into him. Lio slingshots out of the way, to then GUILLOTINE LEG DROP! Nese flops while the fans fire up, and Lio goes up top! FINAL- NO, Nese moves, and then he goes Matrix to avoid the lariat! Nese kicks, KNEES, KICKS, but Lio jumps a sweep! Nese ducks a kick, but Lio ducks a haymaker to fire fast hands! Lio ROCKS Nese, runs, sunset flips, but Nese rolls through to SOBAT Lio’s face! The fans boo but Sterling feels better as Nese rains down fists. The ref reprimands, Nese lets off, and the fans chant, “You Still Suck!”

Nese storms up on Lio, brings him around to scoop and SLAM! Nese pretends he can’t hear the fans as they boo him. Nese drags Lio up, but Lio CHOPS! Lio ROCKS Nese, ROCKS him again, then KICKS a leg! Nese blocks the buzzsaw to pump handle, but Lio slips free of the powerslam! Lio ducks ‘n’ dodges, but Sterling trips him up! Nese ELBOWS Lio down! The fans boo as Nese covers, TWO! Lio stays in this and the fans chant “STERLING SUCKS! STERLING SUCKS!” Sterling says no he doesn’t, but the fans chant “YES YOU DO! YES YOU DO!” Nese drags Lio up, TOSSES him, and then distracts the ref. Sterling gets more cheap shots in!

The fans boo but Sterling puts Lio in. Nese covers, the ref says his feet are under ropes. Nese shifts, now it’s a cover, ONE!! Lio is still in this and Nese argues about the delay. The fans rally for Lio as he goes to a corner. Nese stalks him, drags Lio up, and CHOPS! Nese whips corner to corner hard, and Lio goes up and out to the floor! The ref checks Lio but Nese goes out after him. The ref backs Nese off, and Sterling gets another cheap shot! The fans protest but Nese drags Lio up. Nese puts Lio in, covers, TWO! Lio toughs it out but Nese gets pissed! Nese puts on the body scissor squeeze! The fans rally for Lio as he endures.

Lio pries at the feet, pushes back, but Nese chinbars him. Nese CLAWS Lio’s face, the ref counts, and Nese stops, focusing on the body scissors. The fans continue to rally and Lio fires haymakers! Lio is free of the scissors and he HAMMERS away on Nese! Both men go to ropes, and Lio rises as the fans rally up. Lio storms over to Nese but Nese throat chops! The ref reprimands but Nese brings Lio around, HOTSHOT BULLDOG! Then Nese goes to the apron, PREMIER TRIANGLE FLOPS! The fans fire up as Lio rises! Lio ROCKS Nese, ROCKS him again, and again and again! Lio fires a flurry, then whips, but Nese reverses to slide under!

Nese has the pump handle, scoop, PREMIER DRIVER!! Cover, TWO!! Lio survives and Nese is beside himself! The fans fire up while Nese looks to Sterling. Sterling says just keep on Lio, and so Nese drags Lio into a corner. Nese makes Lio sit up, then stomps a mudhole in. The kneepad comes down, and Nese goes side to side! But Lio is up to LARIAT! The fans fire up while both men are down again! Lio roars and rises up again! Lio whips Nese, Nese reverses, but Lio DIVES onto Sterling! Revenge for the ambulance chaser! But then NEse runs up! Lio avoids Nese, then goes back in to DIVE back out!

The fans fire up as Lio takes Nese down! Lio puts Nese in, whips, but Nese reverses! Lio just hits RUSH HOUR!! Lio goes up the corner, for the FINAL HOUR!! Cover, Lio wins!

ROH World Championship: Mark Briscoe VS The Beast Mortos!

Speaking of title opportunities, The Sussex County Chicken admitted to the fact this menacing minotaur more than earned his shot at this title. Between his nearly spotless record since signing with AEW & ROH and pinning the champ during a Six Man Tag, Mortos is a logical choice for a challenger! But will Mortos be able to #ManUp and tear down Mark Briscoe’s legacy? Or will nothing stop the fighting spirit of #DemBoys?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who is truly the top dog between Chicken and Beast!

Mortos reels Mark in for a SNAP POWERSLAM! Cover, TWO! Mortos roars but fans are torn.

Mortos stomps Mark in a corner, the ref counts, and Mortos lets off. Mark sputters on the ropes, but Mortos hooks Mark’s arms around ropes! Mortos has the inverted motorcycle stretch, but he lets off as the ref counts. Mortos then drags Mark up and winds up, to ROCK Mark with a right! Mark goes to a corner, the fans are torn, but Mortos tears at Mark’s face! Mortos makes Mark smile with his toothy grin, and then lets off. Mortos brings Mark around, suplexes, but Mark slips free! Mark clinches, but Mortos suplexes again! Mark slips free again, shoves, and then hits the crane stance! To SLAP Mortos!

The fans fire up, Mrotos swings, but Mark dodges to CHOP, CHOP and CHOP! Mark whips, Mortos reverses but Mark FLYING FOREARMS! The fans fire up again and Mark storms up on Mortos. CAMEL CLUTCH, and then Mark CLAWS Mortos’ eyes! The ref counts, Mark lets off, and he drags Mortos up. Mark ROCKS Mortos, CHOPS again, then ROCKS him again. Mark RAMS Mortos into a corner, RAMS him again, then CHOPS! The fans “WOO~!” and Mark shakes out his hand from hitting that hard. Mark brings Mortos around, RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Cover, TWO! The fans rally and Mark is feeling it!

Mark brings Mortos up to fireman’s carry! But Mortos fires elbows! Mortos shoves Mark, then follows, rolls off Mark’s back and SOBATS! KNEES! ELBOWS! Snapmare and NECK TWIST! Mark writhes, rises, but Mortos HEADBUTTS him down! The fans are torn but Mortos covers, TWO! Mark survives but Mortos clamps on with a SLEEPER! Mark endures, the fans rally, and Mark rises up. Mortos knees low, then he ROCKS Mark! Mark flops into a corner and Mortos roars! Mortos drags Mark up, fireman’s carries, and he WASTELAND SLAMS Mark into a drop zone! Mortos then heads up, the fans dueling!

Mortos reaches the top, but Mark rises to CHOP Mortos! Mark climbs up, but Mortos HEADBUTTS him back down! Mark just rises again to UPPERCUT! The fans fire up as Mark climbs, but Mortos fires haymakers! A throat chop sends Mark back down, but now Mark’s mad! Mark stands to ROCK Mortos! Mark climbs up after Mortos, fires more hands, but Mortos grabs the wrists to HEADBUTT!! Mark falls, but rises again!? REDNECK KUNG-FU UPPERCUT! Mortos tumbles down, Mark builds speed, CANNONBALL DIVE! Direct hit and the fans fire up! Mark tosses a chair into the ring, and he sets that up at the ropes!

The fans fire up as Mark builds speed! The Chicken FLIES onto Mortos, and lands on his feet!! The fans are fired up again, and Mark goes to the apron. The fans rally as Mark goes up the corner, to WHISPER IN THE WIND! Down goes Mortos and Mark puts him in the ring! The fans rally for “DEM BOYS!” as Mark gets moving, and he LARIATS Mortos down! Cover, TWO! Mortos survives and Mark has a wild look in his eyes! Mortos rises, Mark winds up, and he kicks low! Mark underhooks, but Mortos powers up and out! Mark flounders, Mortos runs up to whip! POP-UP SAMOAN DROP!! Cover, TWO!!

The fans fire up as Mark survives again! Mortos seethes but the fans rally again. Mortos drags Mark up, whips him, and scoops him into the torture rack! Mark slips free, kicks low, and underhooks! But Mortos RAMS Mark into buckles! Mortos runs, into an ELBOW! Mark then BOOTS, runs up, but into the scoop! Torture rack and BACKBREAKER!! Cover, TWO!!! Mortos cannot believe it but Mark survives! The fans duel, Mortos slashes his throat, and he hauls Mark up! Scoop and- NO, Mark slips free to a SLEEPER! Mark shoves Mortos, fireman’s carries, and ROLLING DEATH VALLEY DRIVERS!

The fans are thunderous as Mark goes up! FROGGY- NO, Mark has to bail out as Mortos moves! Mortos SPEARS!! Cover, TWO!! Mark survives and the fans fire up again! Mortos snarls, and he hauls Mark up. Mortos scoops to SLAM, then he goes to a corner! Mortos climbs, for the BEAST FLOP as Mark moves! Mark roars, the fans fire up, and Mark BOOTS Mortos down! Mark hurries to put Mortos in the drop zone, and he goes right up top! FROGGY-BOW!! Cover, ONE?!?!? Mark is shocked and the fans are thunderous! Mortos rises, he really is a monster! Mortos shoves Mark, then HEADBUTTS him!

Mark rebounds to LARIAT! Mark hurries to underhook, JAY DRILLER!! Cover, Mark wins!!

Winner: Mark Briscoe, by pinfall (still ROH World Champion)

Mortos earned this match, he gave an incredible fight, but Mark Briscoe does it from #DemBoys! If not even Mortos can stop Mark, will nothing stop the Briscoe legacy?

My Thoughts:

A great ROH, even with it clocking in at just over two hours. I probably could’ve skipped Abadon VS Lion but I thought we’d get something from Athena & Billie tonight. But I knew Adora, Komander, Nduka, The Iron Savages and Shafir would all win their matches, as their opponents weren’t advertised. But Nduka is doing good for just his second match on ROH, and he clearly has all the physical attributes to be a top guy within the next few years. And I do like that The Iron Savages have a new team finisher where Bronson and Jameson help Boulder fly in for a diving splash. That’ll be less wear and tear on his legs trying to carry Bronson, and can certainly be made to look more devastating.

Great opening match with the 8 Man Tag, and great win for Team Texas. Not sure how long they’ll keep this going, but at least they can say they did the whole Esports Stadium series. Very good Six Man Tag, and I figured Cage of Agony would win with Serpentico in there at the end. That win for Cage of Agony could help them get in on the ROH World Six Man title story, or even the ROH World Tag Team title story, having matches with Team Texas that put pressure on the relationship of Dustin and Sammy. At the same time, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was tension over who challenges for the ROH World Television Championship, with Cage being a frontrunner since his team beat Atlantis’ team tonight.

Really funny promo from MXM with POD, and a very good tag match between them. Naturally, MXM won, they’re still on that hot streak in ROH. And great return tag match for Menard & Parker. I do appreciate Watts trying to expand the faction, but obviously Menard & Parker are done following a delusional Heel leader. 2Point0 gets the win to get back in the tag title conversation themselves. Great promo from Shane Taylor Promotions to call out not just Mark Briscoe and the world title, but basically anyone that wants to try the Pure Division. Very good match from Angelico VS Solo, very good win from Angelico, but him going after Lee is clearly just giving Lee a solid first defense to have under his belt.

Very good promo from The Righteous, but much like The Dark Order, their return to AEW TV was short lived, and they’re right back on ROH trying to get going again. I’m sure they’ll also be in the running for the ROH World Six Man titles, and if just for Archer’s sake alone, I hope they’re the ones that dethrone Dustin & The Von Erichs, we already saw Cage of Agony have these belts for a long time, and no other team really feels they’re on that level right now. Great match for Lio and Nese, and I figured Lio would win just to make Nese and Sterling look like dummies.

Lio is already part of Collision’s London Ladders Wild Card Qualifier, there’s a 50-50 chance he and Top Flight win, even though they’re against Claudio, Wheeler Yuta & Pac, and that’s because so far, there are no real high flyers in that match. Not Patriarchy, not Bang Bang Gang and not House of Black, so you gotta put in a team of pretty much all high flying types to make up for that. And then, great promo from Mark Briscoe as always, and a great main event with Mortos. I figured Mark Briscoe was going to win, but Mortos looks great again, even in defeat. Shane Taylor clearly wants next, maybe we head for that match up and do it big on ROH TV. I only say that because Final Battle is way too far way to stretch this story.
