Deonna switches, they go to ropes, and Anna bucks the O’Conner! Anna runs Deonna over, keeps moving, then whips. Anna blows past Deonna, sunset flips, TWO! Deonna is up fast but Anna wrenches to HOOK KICK! Anna whips Deonna to a corner, runs up and LEG LARIATS! The fans rally as Anna snapmares and ROLLING NECKBREAKERS! Cover, TWO! Anna stays on Deonna with another whip, but Deonna reverses.

Anna slips to the apron, then ROCKS Deonna! Deonna comes back but into a HEEL KICK! Anna goes up a corner but Taya anchors her! Deonna distracts the ref, then she BOOTS Anna! The fans boo but Taya just takes a bow. Deonna “kicks dirt” at Anna, then drags her up. Deonna short arm LARIATS, then she stands on Anna’s face! Anna fires a forearm back, but Deonna hits Anna again! The shots go back and forth, the fans dueling, and Anna gets the edge! Anna backs Deonna down, whips, but Deonna reverses, only for Anna to FLYING FOREARM! And FLYING FOREARM again! Anna keeps moving to SHOTGUN Deonna! The fans are torn as Anna runs up on the hometown girl. Forearm SMASH, and Anna puts Deonna up top! DANGEROUS JAY KICK, and then the ICONOCLASM! Cover, TWO! Deonna survives but Anna drags her up. Anna clamps on the QUEENSLAYER SLEEPER! Deonna endures, pries free, and arm-drags Anna!

Deonna kicks low, runs, and KNEE LIFTS into the RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Roll and FUJIWARA ARMBAR! Anna endures, flails and moves around, and kicks her way to a ROPEBREAK! The ref counts, Deonna holds until 4, and Taya coaches Deonna. Deonna slashes her throat, reels Anna in, but Anna fights the Gotch lift! Deonna is upset, but better than being disqualified! Taya tells fans to shut up as they sing “Hey hey hey! Goodbye~!” Deonna drags Anna up, but Anna SLAPS Deonna! Deonna is pissed, and she grabs that arm! FUJIWARA!! Deonna pushes on that arm, but Anna uses it to roll Deonna up! ANNA WINS!

Deonna is furious, but maybe she should’ve let the ref throw this out. In the end, Anna gets a real win over Deonna, will this help her get back towards some title scene?

 

Backstage interview with Billie Starkz.

Lexy Nair is with her ROH Minion buddy, and notes that Billie is the first ROH woman entered in the first ever WrestleDynasty International Women’s Cup! Billie, what an opportunity, how are you feeling? She is excited! This is the second chance she’s been waiting for, and- Red Velvet steps in to say more like NO chance. Because see, Velvet is also in that match, and well, she already beat Billie. So her odds are looking really good. But then in steps Leyla Hirsch. And she says lucky for them both, because Leyla’s in this! Leyla beat Velvet once, and just looking at Billie, Leyla knows she can beat her.

Oh but then in steps the ROH Women’s World Champion, Athena! The Minion Overlord defends her bestie and Billie, and says it is finally time for the Athena World Tour! She is the fourth participant, even though, why does she have to qualify for HER show? Athena has beaten Velvet, she’s beaten “Small fry” Leyla, and well… Billie Goat, we all know Athena dog walked her! Velvet says Athena shouldn’t talk to Billie like that. Billie says “Cupcake” doesn’t need to defend her. Things are getting tense already, who wins their way into WrestleDynasty’s massive crossover match?

 

Backstage interview with QT Marshall.

Lexy is now with QT and says later int he Zero Hour, it is QT VS Big Boom AJ. QT took AJ out last night after the weigh-in, will it be the same here tonight? QT wants Lexy to remember, pronounce it “Mar-shall.” And yes, in QT’s home state of New Jersey, the best part will be QT remembering why he left. It’s a dump! Especially Newark! But AJ is also from New Jersey, and he properly represents this dump. Whether AJ is on the Tonight Show, on TikTok, or here in AEW, he is the epitome of someone from The Garden State: an embarrassment! He’s worse than Bruce Springsteen himself!

And tonight, in a sold out crowd that QT drew all himself, it will be like going to his high school reunion and showing how he is more successful than everyone else. And he’ll do that by walking to the ring, staring down AJ, and bringing the doom! Will QT Marshall make himself the boss of the Zero Hour? Or will it be a BOOM for all of New Jersey when QT loses?

Now this is going to be a fast ‘n’ furious match! Angel Dorado, the menacing minotaur, the Commander of Space and the Aussie Juggernaut are all fighting for opportunity, who makes that greater impact?

The bell rings and the four watch each other closely. Buddy and Mortos lock eyes as the big guys in this match, but Komander runs up. Buddy KNEES Komander low and shoves him out. Dante tries but Buddy does the same to him! The fans fire up now as we get Buddy and Mortos circling. But Dante and Komander return! Mortos and Buddy put them in corners, then fire off hands and stomps! Mortos SMACKS Dante, then shouts at Buddy. Buddy stops stomping Komander to stare him down. The fans fire up for these meaty men, but then Dante and Komander try again! They get put back in corners for more hands!

Dante dodges Mortos to POST him! Dante runs up on Buddy, bobs ‘n’ weaves then SMACKS Buddy! And again! Dante whips but Buddy blocks! Buddy BOOTS Dante, slips around, but Dante ELOBWOS him! Komander runs up, POP-UP RANA on Buddy! Mortos runs up to UPPERCUT Dante down! Komander knuckle locks Mortos , CHOPS, KICKS, and goes up, up, but Mortos yanks him down! Dante is back, Mortos knuckle locks him, too! Mortos twists their hands and fans rally. But Komander & Dante both push Mortos! Mortos pushes them back! Dante & Komander kick, dodges, BOOSTED QUEBRADA!

The fans fire up ad Buddy is back! Komander lisp out fothe back suplex, and Dante returns the afvor, BOOSTED CROSSBODY! The fans fire up again, and now Dante & Komander wrap Buddy around ropes. They CHOP, but Buddy TOSSES Dante! Buddy suplexes Komander onto the top rope! Buddy climbs but Komander fires forearms! Komander then leaps, but Buddy catches him! Buddy puts Komander on the top rope again, and CHOPS! And CHOPS! The fans “WOO~” for that second one, and Buddy climbs. But Morots YANKS Buddy down, TOSSES him out, and then ROCKS Komander!

Mortos climbs, he brings Komander up, but Dante CLUBS Mortos! Dante fires forearms on Mortos, whips him, but Mortos reverses! Dante goes up, around, and RANAS! Mortos tumbles, the fans rally up, and Dante BOOTS Mortos! Buddy returns, Dante BOOTS him! Buddy tries again, Dante goes up and over! Dante SUPERKICKS Mortos, but Buddy puts him on the apron. Buddy BLASTS Dante, but here comes Mortos! Mortos dodges Buddy to TOPE TORNILLO onto Dante! The fans fire up and Buddy FLIES! Down goes Dante and Mortos and the fans fire up! But wait, Komander sets up to tightrope walk and SPACE MAN ESCALARA!

The fans are thunderous and Komander feeds off the energy. Komander fetches Buddy into the ring, then goes to the ropes. Alex Abrahantes in his Vegeta hoodie coaches Komander. Komander tightrope walks for CIELITO- NO, Buddy moves so Komander belly flops! But then Mortos THROWS Buddy into steel steps! Mortos stalks Komander, SMACKS him, and whips him to ropes. Komander goes up and up and FLYING RANAS! But Mortos is up to SMACK Komander again! Mortos snapmares and NECK TWISTS! Komander writhes, staggers, but Mortos scoops for a CIPHER UTAKI! Dante returns, leaps over Mortos, but Mortos POP-UP SAMOAN DROPS him!

The fans fire up again and Mortos roars! Buddy returns, blocks the haymaker and fires off a strike fest! But Mortos avoids the knee! Buddy puts him on the apron, and catches Mortos for a DRAPING DDT! Buddy strikes like a viper and now he stalks Komander. Komander runs up, tilt-o-whirls, but Buddy LAWN DARTS him into Dante! Then Buddy has Dante for a suplex, JACKHAMMER! Cover, Mortos breaks it! Mortos drags Buddy up but Buddy shoves him. Buddy KNEES Mortos, then dodges Komander to TOSS him out! Pump handle on Dante, but Dante victory rolls it! TWO!! Buddy is up, into a JUMP KNEE from Dante!

Dante runs to ROCK Mortos, GAMANGIRIS, then TOSSES him out. Komander is back, Dante rolls him and wrenches, then tucks and MOUST TRAP! TWO!! Komander is up, he and Dante ROCK each other! And BOOT each other! They go again, switch and switch, but now Buddy is up! METEORA on Dante! Komander comes back to tilt-o-whirl DEJA VU DDT!! But Mortos ROLLING CRUCIFIX DRIVER!! Dante FLYING LARIATS!! All four men are down and the fans are thunderous! “This is Awesome!” as only Komander is on the outside and the others go to corners. Mortos snarls as he rises up!

Komander returns and the fans rally. Buddy and Dante also stand, then Komander follows. Mortos and Komander brawl, Buddy and Dante brawl, and the fans rally. Mortos SMACKS Komander, Buddy ROCKS Dante! Now the big men want at it! Buddy blocks a kick, sends i into Dante, but then Mortos does the same with Buddy’s leg and Komander! HEADBUTT for Buddy! Mortos ROCKS Dante, puts him up top, but Komander 619s the legs out! Mortos staggers, Komander springboards to FLYING POISON-RANA!! Dante hits the MAMBA SPLASH!! Cover, BUDDY STOMPS DANTE!! Cover, BUDDY WINS!

Rizzler keeps up the Rizz Face all the way to the ring, and he finds his way to the timekeeper’s area. Time to fight on the mat for The Rizzler!

Zero Hour – Big Boom AJ w/ Big Justice VS QT Marshall w/ Ace of Space Academy!

After 20 YEARS, these two former rivals finally meet again. Who will be the greatest wrestler from the Garden State when AEW pits BOOM against DOOM?

QT kisses his Doom weight belt, offers it to a fan, but the fan slaps it down! QT hands it to his wife, Mrs. Marshall, and she accepts it. Rizzler rings the bell and it begins! The fans chant “BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!” but QT talks smack on AJ. AJ stares QT down, the fans rally up, and the two circle. They tie up, and QT arm-drags! QT celebrates like he did something amazing but the fans boo. QT and AJ reset, tie up, but QT waistlocks. QT spins AJ, snapmares, and again celebrates like he won or something. The fans boo and AJ gets annoyed. QT and AJ reset again, circle, and tie up. QT wrenches to a wristlock but the fans rally behind AJ.

AJ wrenches through, fireman’s carries for the takeover, and now AJ gets to celebrate! The fans cheer and now QT is flustered. The fans tell AJ, “You Still Got It!” QT calls for a knuckle lock, so AJ says bet. They tie up, but then QT kicks low! The fans boo but QT clamps on a headlock. AJ endures the grind, fights up, and he powers out. QT RAMS AJ, but AJ stays put! QT is annoyed, he runs, and he RAMS AJ! QT almost bounces off! The fans fire up and QT tries again, then ducks ‘n’ dodges! But AJ picks QT up for a POWERSLAM! Cover, TWO!! QT escapes and flounders away! Rizzler is intrigued, but QT kicks and UPPERCUTS AJ!

AJ goes to a corner, QT storms over and bumps AJ off buckles. AJ whips QT, and hits a BACKDROP! Then AJ LARIATS QT up and out! The Doom Squad is there, Rizzler is all smiles, and AJ puts QT in the ring. AJ warns the Doom Squad to stay back, but QT runs in! AJ dodges as QT FLIES, and down goes the squad! AJ then ROCKS QT with a haymaker! And ROCKS him again! AJ sends QT into railing, then puts him in the ring. AJ storms in but QT KICKS him in the ropes! QT drags AJ up for a BASEMENT DDT! The fans boo QT but he soaks it up. QT taunts AJ, drags him up, and DECKS him with a right!

QT mocks the fans, then taunts AJ. AJ rises, but QT DECKS him again! QT taunts AJ’s family and says, “I thought he was gonna bring the boom!” Mrs. Boom says QT is going down! QT swings but AJ counter punches! QT DROPKICKS AJ in return! Rizzler does not like that but QT covers, TWO! QT sits AJ up and clamps on a neck wrench. The fans sing, “OH~, We Want The Rizzler~!” Rizzler nods and AJ fights up. AJ fires body shots but QT CLUBS him down. QT says shut up about Rizzler! QT runs up, but AJ stops the cutter! BELLY2BELLY! Down goes QT and the fans fire up! Big Justice coaches on his dad but QT rises up.

The fans rally as QT and AJ both stand. AJ ROCKS QT! And ROCKS him again! And again! Again, again, and again! QT is in a corner, AJ whips corner to corner. QT reverses but AJ comes back to LARIAT! And LARIAT! AJ dodges, and he SPINEBUSTERS QT! The fans fire up and Rizzler is going into overdrive! AJ hurries up a corner and the fans fire up again! QT rises, AJ aims, FLYING BOOM! The fans fire up and AJ rises again! AJ says it’s time! “BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!” QT rises, AJ has him for a scoop and… POWERSLAM! Cover, TWO!! QT survives but Rizzler wonders if this is almost over.

QT and AJ rise up, and AJ storms over to QT. AJ whips, QT handsprings! NEURALIZER KICK! The fans boo but QT rises again! QT runs up, DIAMOND CUTTER!! Cover, TWO!!! AJ survives and the fans are thunderous! QT cannot believe it but Big Justice & Rizzler are excited! QT goes out of the ring, he talks trash on Rizzler, but Wight defends the kid. QT apologizes, backs off, and QT goes up a corner. QT talks trash on Big Justice now, but AJ ROCKS QT! The fans fire up as AJ climbs! AJ has QT on the very top, and hits a SUPER DUPER PLEX!! A big gamble from Big Boom AJ, but he’s about to double down!

The fans fire up and AJ has QT set up! But wait, is that Aaron Solo?! Solo talks trash, but AJ DECKS him! Solo flounders, but QT BOOTS AJ! The fans boo but now QT calls his shot. WAIT! Big Justice steps in! BIG JUSTICE SPEARS QT!! The fans are thunderous as now AJ kicks QT, and brings him up for a POWER BOOM!!! Cover, AJ wins!

Mercedes Mone & Kamille arrive backstage.

The CEO is upset that her title defense has to be here in disgusting Newark, NJ. But since the cameras are here, she has something to say to Kamille now. This last month has been super frustrating. Actually, more like embarrassing! Kamille came out to the crowd, pandering for sympathy?! Mone wouldn’t even be in this mess if not for Kamille in the first place! Kamille shows up wanting to attack Kris Statlander, and then she loses to her?! And let’s not even start on her bad driving! Is Kamille stupid or just dumb? Kamille tells Mone to watch herself. Mone asks if she gave Kamille permission to speak. Does Kamille not know who Mone is and what she’s done for this business?

Mone is The CEO, the greatest woman’s champion o fall time! And tonight, Kamille can just watch from catering as Mone shows how a real woman gets the job done. Watch and learn. Mone leaves, Kamille rolls her eyes, but clearly Kamille wishes she could use both arms right now. Will the Brickhouse just have to watch Two Belts Mone lose one of those belts all on her own?

 

AEW World Tag Team Championships Fatal 4 Way: Private Party VS The Outrunners VS The Kings of the Black Throne VS The Acclaimed!

Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy really only just got theses titles, and their first defense is the biggest match anyone could ask for! Will the party keep on going through tonight? Or will another team use these steep odds to their advantage?

Platinum Max of course has a diss track on deck! “Platinum Max on the mic, so bright, you gon’ get a tan. House of Black made my ears bleed with their shi**y band! Outrunners stain couch covers. I leave stains on your stout mothers! Private Party gonna go from haves to the have-nots. The only shots they take are back shots! I know you checkin’ the vibe because everybody loves the Best Wrestler Alive!” Bowens is confused by Caster’s change in catchphrase, and then Caster just throws the mic at him? Bowens has to pick it up and refocus. “NEWARK, NEW JERSEEEEY~! The Acclaimed have arrived! Scissor Me, Daddy Ass!” And Billy does~!

But with that, Private Party is last but certainly not least! Pyro goes off for the official start of Full Gear, and “Oh my God, is that Private Party?” Ladies line the ramp with glow sticks as Quen & Zay make their entrances, bringing back “SHOTS! SHOTS! SHOTS!” as their theme! The introductions are made, the belts are raised, as is the difficulty level. Will Quen & Zay still be on top of the game with odds like this?

All the teams stare down, but Caster quietly backs off. However, in this kind of Fatal 4 Way, only two teams can be legal at a time. Quen steps up for the champs, and Malakai steps up for the House. They circle while the fans rally up, and they tie up. Malakai arm-drags to armlock, but Quen rolls back. Malakai hammerlocks but Quen sits down, rolls, and headscissors! Malakai shrugs that off but Quen armlocks. Malakai wrangles Quen to a wristlock but Quen rolls and arm-drags free! Malakai trips Quen, Quen boots him away, and then Quen kicks. Malakai blocks, flips Quen, and sits down cross-legged! The fans cheer and Quen tells Malakai to get up.

Malakai reverses to get up so Quen runs up. Malakai ducks under, kips up, trips Quen to cover, ONE! Quen sweeps to cover, ONE! Both men kip up and the fans fire up! Quen and Malakai reset, but then Quen has to duck The End! Malakai smirks as he almost had Quen. Quen rushes up to headlock but Malakai back suplexes! Quen lands out, kicks, but Malakai easily blocks it! Quen shoves Malakai, Malakai ELBOWS Quen down! Malakai drags Quen up, Bowens tags in off him, and the fans fire up as Malakai and BOwens stare down. Bownes rusn up on Quen, and he turns hip toss into hip toss!

Zay tags in, runs up, he and Bowens block arm-drags! Then arm-drags cancle out! Bowens whips bu tZay arm-drags! Bowens mule kicks, front kicks, runs and FAMOUSERS! The fans fire up as “EVERYONE! LOVES THE ACCLAIMED!” Bowens drags Zay up but Caster is too busy soaking up the cheers. Zay breaks free to ENZIGIRI! Truth Magnum tags in and he waistlocks Zay. Truth spins Zay to snap suplex! Cover, TWO! Zay is tougher than that but Truth tags Turbo Floyd. The Outrunners whip Zay to a corner, then ELBOW, snapmare, and NECK SNAPPER! Zay staggers up and Turbo scoops to SLAM!

The fans fire up as The Outrunners flex! Quen runs up to BLAST Truth! Turbo DECKS Quen, he DECKS Caster, and he DECKS Bowens! Malakai runs in but Turbo LARIATS him up and out! But here comes Brody King! Turbo turns around, he throws hands, but Brody DECKS Turbo! The fans fire up and Turbo rises. Turbo throws more hands, but Brody ROCKS Turbo! Turbo fires up to fire hands but Brody ROCKS Turbo, then CHOPS him! But Turbo is powering up! Turbo flexes, runs, but Brody LARIATS Turbo down! The fans bark for Brody as he drags Turbo to the outside, and then throws him into railing!

Brody DECKS Caster, pushes Bowens into the ring, and The House regroups. Malakai KNEES Bowens, Brody puts Bowens up top, and they both climb! A SUPERPELX for the Power, DIVING DOUBLE STMOPS for the Glory! Malakai then goes up and out to QUEBRADA the whole cluster! Malakai puts Quen in for the hell of it, and Quen BOOTS Brody! Quen kicks at Malakai but Malakai blocks it to THROW him down! Quen ends up in the corner, Brody LARIATS! Then POP-UP KNEE! Zay springboards in, into a HAYMAKER! LEG SWEEP! SENTON! The fans fire up for The Kings of the Black Throne!

The Outrunners and Acclaimed regroup and they stare The House down. The fans rally up as it is a 4v2 brawl! Truth & Caster mug Brody while Bowens & Turbo TOSS Malakai! Private Party joins the party and they beat Brody down. Bowens goes up and everyone holds Brody open! SCISSOR ME TIMBERS~! The fans fire up, but then Caster BOOTS Truth! Turbo TOSSES Quen, Bowens TOSSES Zay. Bowens and Turbo stare down, and the fans fire up! But then Caster DECKS Turbo! Truth DECKS Caster! Bowens clinches and spins Truth to NECKBREAKER! Caster hits a MISSILE DROPKICK on Malakai! The fans tell Caster off but he ignores that. Bowens tags in off Turbo, Caster tags in off Brody, how does that work!? The ref and The Acclaimed have to sort that out, but the fans are on Bowens’ side! Billy tells them to focus, they spot Turbo and DOUBLE SUPERKICK! The Acclaimed argue about who should be legal, but Caster says just pin him! This is the loophole of this Fatal 4 Way! Bowens does cover Caster, but Quen SWANTON BOMBS it apart! Zay tags in off Caster, but Bowens catches him ot a cradle! TWO!! Zay rolls Bowens, TWO! Bowens ROLLING ELBOWS Zay!!

Bowens fires up, and he brings Zay around to whip. Zay reverses, Caster tags in! Bowens has the crucifix but the ref says he’s not legal! Bowens says Caster messed this up! Caster says just hit the finishers! But Zay kicks Bowens! Bowens powers out to clinch, THE ARRIVAL!! Caster is up but Turbo is after him! Caster ROCKS Turbo, but Turbo TOSSES Bowens! Backstage interview with Orange Cassidy.

Lexy Nair is with Freshly Squeezed and says this past Wednesday, The Death Riders sent a clear message. How is that affecting his mindset tonight? Cassidy says yes, they sent a message. But tonight, “we” send a message back. AEW sends a message back! Private Party started it. They’re AEW Day One, and they’re the AEW World Tag Team Champions. Because AEW means everything to them, just like it does to Cassidy and to all the fans here tonight. How could Moxley possibly understand that? Because Moxley never needed AEW. Cassidy wouldn’t exist without AEW. So tonight, Cassidy shows that AEW doesn’t need Moxley!

Cassidy takes the power, the symbol of what AEW represents, and puts it in his backpack as the NEW AEW World Champion. Cassidy heads out, will he make this all become a reality?

 

MJF VS Roderick Strong!

The Wolf of Wrestling tried to worm his way out of another situation by setting obstacles in front of his enemies. However, The Savior of the Backbreaker still made it through three matches to earn this opportunity and finally shutting MJF up. Will Roddy break MJF’s back and make him humble? Or will Maxwell Jacob Friedman prove he is still better than everyone else, and we know it?

The bell rings and MJF bails right out! The fans boo but MJF grabs a mic. MJF tells that the disgusting poors should keep their mouths shut! Roddy, you wanna know why the people like you? It’s not because you’re a good wrestler, it’s that you’re just like them: WHITE TRASH! Oh, sorry, did MJF insult the dumpster fire of the world? Hey, wanna know what’s really great? When MJF is out of this crap company and no longer wrestling in front of these fat losers, he’s out there making millions shooting movies! Meanwhile, Roddy’s mama is shooting his daddy! MJF soaks up the heat, but Roddy slides out to CHOP MJF down!

MJF scrambles into the ring, wants mercy, but Roddy CHOPS him again! MJF runs away up the ramp! Roddy chases him down and CLUBS him down! Roddy CLUBS MJF back to ringside, then CHOPS him again! Roddy swings, MJF dodges, then dodges again! Roddy CHOPS the POST! MJF bares some crossbars and he puts Roddy’s fingers in the gap! MJF bends the fingers! The ref reprimands, MJF lets go at 4, and he refreshes the ring count. MJF then wrenches the bad hand, tucks it into Roddy’s tights, and then gut wrenches to APRON POWERBOMB! Roddy falls to the floor and MJF smirks as he leaves Roddy behind.

The fans boo but MJF goes back to put Roddy in the ring. MJF storms in, he drags Roddy around, and MJF stands on Roddy’s hand. “You’re a bum! Not a single effin’ person in here cares about you!” MJF stomps Roddy’s hand, then he tells the fans to shut up. MJF reels Roddy in, but Roddy wrenches out to CHOP! CHOP! MJF dodges but Roddy CHOPS again! MJF BITES the bad hand! MJF then WRINGS Roddy into the corner! MJF soaks up heat while mockingly checking his “watch.” MJF says this is too easy, then he goes back for the bad hand. Roddy endures, fights around, but MJF wrangles him to the mat.

MJF continues to talk trash but Roddy still endures. The fans prove MJF wrong as they rally up for Roddy, and Roddy fights to his feet. Roddy throws elbows, then forearms! Roddy whips but MJF YANKS the bad arm! MJF runs up, but Roddy BOOTS! ENZIGIRIS! And HALF NELSON- NO, MJF wrenches out to have the bad hand. Roddy slips around, and he HALF NELSON BACKBREAKERS after all! Both men are down and the fans fire up. Fans actually duel, seems New Jersey likes a devil like MJF. But Roddy CHOPS first! And ELBOWS MJF, then CALF KICKS! Roddy keeps moving and he LARIATS MJF down!

The fans fire up as Roddy fires elbow after elbow, then he torture racks! MJF reaches out, but Roddy REVERSE LAWN DARTS! JUMP KNEE! ANGLE SLAM! Cover, TWO! MJF survives but Roddy huffs ‘n’ puffs. The fans rally, Roddy hauls MJF up, but MJF wrenches and WRINGS the bad arm! Both men are down and the fans rally again. Roddy and MJF go to opposite ends, and Roddy is on the apron. MJF storms up, reels Roddy in, but Roddy stops the Heatseeker! MJF runs back in but Roddy TOSSES him! Roddy then WRECKS MJF with a dropkick! Roddy hurries out and he whips MJF into railing! And then he CHOPS!

Roddy lifts MJF up to RAILING BACKBREAKER! The fans fire up with Roddy and he drags MJF up. Roddy puts MJF into the ring, aims from a corner, and he runs up to SICK- NO, MJF dodges! Roddy tumbles, he hurries after MJF, but MJF pops him up to MULE KICK! MJF goes up, mocks Adam Cole, but Roddy YANKS him down for a BACKBREAKER! Both men are down again and the fans fire up! Roddy crawls to MJF, covers, TWO! MJF stays in this and the fans rally up again. Roddy rises and he brings MJF up. Roddy reels MJF in but MJF wrenches to go after the arm! Roddy whips MJF to a corner but MJF ELBOWS him away!

MJF goes up and DOUBLE STOMPS the bad arm! MJF then reels Roddy in, hammerlock DDT! Cover, TWO!! Roddy survives and MJF is too tired to throw a fit. Both men slowly rise, but MJF SPITS on Roddy! Roddy SLAPS MJF! And CHOPS! Roddy fires a flurry of forearms and CHPOS, then he blocks a kick. MJF pokes Roddy in the eye! MJF runs while fans boo, but Roddy DROPKICKS MJF! Roddy then trips MJF, has the legs, and has the TEXAS CLOVERLEAF! The fans fire up while MJF endures and crawls around. Roddy drags MJF from the ropes! But Roddy’s bad hand can’t hold on!

MJF is free and he rises up, but Roddy storms over. MJF DECKS Roddy with a fast hand! MJF drags Roddy up again, suplexes, but his back won’t let him finish that! MJF runs up, now Roddy DECKS MJF! The fans fire up as Roddy slowly makes his way to MJF. Roddy drags MJF up, but MJF wrenches and he HEADBUTTS the hand again and again! MJF wrenches to suplex, but Roddy turns it around! END OF HEARTACHE!! Cover, ROPEBREAK!!! MJF survives by a literal foot! Roddy is beside himself but the fans rally up again. Roddy hobbles to ropes, MJF sits up, and Roddy runs back in! But MJF bails out!

The fans boo but Roddy pursues. Roddy drags MJF up off the ground, puts him in the ring, and he hurries to suplex again. MJF cradle counters! TWO, Roddy has the cover, TWO! Roddy swings, MJF ducks and whips, but then Roddy dodges! ENZIGIRI, torture rack, and RACK DROP! Then a fireman’s carry, for a GUTBUSTER DROP! Roddy keeps moving, SICK KICK hits!! The fans fire up and Roddy keeps on MJF! But MJF suplexes for a BRAINBUSTER! Both men are down and the fans are thunderous! The ref checks both men, they’re okay to continue, and Roddy crawls to a cover. TWO, and MJF has the FUJIWARA ARMBAR!

MJF THRASHES the arm, RODDY TAPS!! MJF WINS!!!

MJF grins, and he’ll surely play this off as another “easy dub.” But then MJF decides he isn’t done, and he grabs a chair! MJF grins as he storms back into the ring, and he threatens the ref! The ref backs off, and MJF puts the arm around Roddy’s arm! The fans boo as MJF stands on the steel! MJF runs to STOMP the chair!!! Roddy writhes, but ADAM COLE is here! Cole runs in but MJF runs away! The Undisputed Kingdom is also here, Taven & Bennett check on Roddy’s arm while Cole glares at MJF. Cole vows he will get MJF, that SOB! Kyle O’Reilly rushes out here, too, and he gets mad at Cole!

Kyle says this is what he was talking with Cole about on Wednesday! Kyle didn’t want this obsession to hurt someone else, and it has! Kyle helps Roddy away to the back, but does he have a point? Should Cole have stopped this before it began? Or will Cole make sure it ends with him and MJF?

 

AEW TBS Championship: Mercedes Mone VS Kris Statlander!

The CEO is still NJPW Strong Women’s Champion on top of AEW TBS Champion, but the walls might be closing in. Mone knows she has Strong Style Evolved in a few weeks, but is she taking the Galaxy’s Greatest too easy? Or will the #BornAgainKristen once again be The Face of TBS?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who is really the greatest TBS Champion today!

The bell rings and Kris circles with Mone. They tie up and then Mone SLAPS Kris! Mone dodges Kris to fire hands, but Kris just storms up on her! Mone dodges again, but Kris catches her this time, to THROW her to a corner! Mone dodges again, KNEES Kris, and then slingshots in to MONKEY FLIP! Mone rolls to mount and rain down fists! The ref counts, Mone lets off to soak up heat, and then Mone drags Kris up. Mone reels Kris in, but Kris blocks the suplex! Kris suplexes Mone, holds her up, then shifts to a fireman’s carry! Military press and SLAM! The fans fire up and Kris SENTONS! Then STANDING MOONSAULTS! Cover, TWO!

Mone bails to the apron but Kris storms up on her. Mone goes to the floor, but Kris slides out, only for Mone to slide in! Mone wags her finger, Kris storms up, and Kris ROCKS Mone! Kris aims for the floor!? The fans fire up as Kris suplexes, but Mone slips free! Mone CLAWS Kris’ face, then goes up to FLYING RANA! Kris is thrown to the floor and the fans are stunned! Mone wants the ring count as she slides in, and the count begins. Fans duel but the “C E O! C E O!” has plenty of support in Newark. Kris rises at 4 of 10, Mone soaks up cheers and jeers, but Kris rolls in at 6! Mone BOOTS Kris back out! Mone then METEORAS to the floor!

The fans fire up again as Mone ditches Kris. Mone wants the ring count, and she even counts along. Kris flounders around at 4 of 10, rises up at 5, but Mone WRECKS her with a dropkick! Mone goes out to bring Kris up, and Mone sends Kris into the steel steps! Mone taunts Kris, then runs in, METEORA against the steps! Mone leaves Kris down and out while the ring count begins. Kris rises at 3 and rolls in at 4! Mone is frustrated, so she METEORAS in the corner! Mone stomps a mudhole in, but stops as the ref counts. Cover, TWO! Mone sits Kris up, runs, and METEORAS again! Cover, TWO!

Mone is frustrated but she’s making Newark into Meteora City. The fans rally for “KRIS STAT! KRIS STAT!” but Mone bumps her off buckles. Mone fires hands, whips, but Kris reverses! Mone is in the corner, Kris whips corner to corner, but Mone stops! Mone ELBOWS Kris, ROCKS her, then hops up to DEADLY NIGHTSHADE! Mone then METEORAS again! Cover, but the ref sees Mone holding ropes! Mone throws a fit but she drags Kris up. Kris fires body shots, fires forearms, then reels Mone in. Kris Canadian Racks, but Mone reverses that to a NECKBREAKER DROP! Cover, TWO! Mone is shrieking in fury as Kris survives!

Mone pounds the mat, the fans rally up, and Mone runs up on Kris. SUNSET FLIP BUCKLE BOMB! Mone keeps moving, METEORA!! Cover, TWO!! Kris stay sin this and Mone is beside herself! Mone HIP DROPS Kris, SMOTHERS her, then pulls her into a STRAITJACKET CAMEL CLUTCH! Kris endures being bent backwards and the fans rally up. Kris fights up, powers up, and she backs Mone into a corner! And then RAMS her in again! Kris is free, and she hoists Mone up top. Mone kicks first, then TORNADO- NO, Kris THROWS Mone away! The fans fire up as both women rise up.

Kris runs in, but Mone BOOTS her! Mone goes up to METEO- NO, Kris stops it to BUCKLE BOMB Mone!! The fans fire up as both women are down again! Kris and Mone stir, a standing count starts, and both women are still down at 5. Mone drags herself up with ropes to stand at 7, and the fans rally. Kris follows at 8, and she counter punches Mone! Kris fires a flurry of forearms against the ropes, then whips. Kris scoops to POWERSLAM! The fans fire up again while Mone flounders to a corner. Kris runs up to UPPERCUT! Kris goes side to side to KNEE! O’Conner Roll and CHAOS THEORY!! Cover, ROPEBREAK!!

Mone survives by a literal foot and Kris is seething. The fans still rally behind Kris as she drags Mone around. Kris RIPCORDS Mone up, but Mone CRUCIFIX DRIVERS! Cover, TWO! STATEMENT MAKER!! Kris flails, fights around, rolls, but Mone rolls through. Kris fireman’s carries! POP-UP, but Mone ducks the kick! Kris ducks the elbow to back suplex! Mone lands out, BACKSTABBER!! Cover, TWO!! Mone is shrieking again but Kris is just that tough! Mone drags Kris to a drop zone, then hops up, but Kris anchors a foot! Mone kicks Kris away, Kris kips up! METEORA!! Cover, TWO!! Mone throws a tantrum while the fans fire up!

Mone grits her teeth as she seethes and rises up. Mone drags Kris up, hooks the arms, but Kris swings through to tilt-o-whirl BACKBREAKER! Mone staggers, Kris DISCUS LARIATS!! Cover, TWO!! Mone survives but Kris shakes her legs out. Kris’ knees are still a concern, even though Kris has stopped wearing the braces. Kris drags Mone up, reels her in, and FISHERMAN- NO, Mone cradle counters! TWO, and Kris deadlifts for the FISHERMAN BUSTER!! Cover, TWO!!! Mone survives and Kris is stunned! The fans declare, “This is Awesome!” Kris feeds off that energy, and she drags Mone around.

Kris scoops, but Mone swings to DDT! Cover, TWO!! Mone is again beside herself, and she shrieks! Mone wants to know what it’s going to take, but the fans are all behind Kris! Mone covers her ears to tune that out, then she brings Kris up. Mone suplexes, Una Amiga! Another suplex, Dos Amigas! And then THREE AMIGAS! Mone gives some CEO Heat, but the fans boo. Mone grins as she hops up top, FROG SPALSH into a fireman’s carry!? Kris hits an F5!! Cover, TWO?!?!?! Mone BARELY gets her shoulder up and the fans cannot believe it! Kris grits her teeth in frustration, and she drags Mone to a drop zone.

Kris climbs up, the fans rally, and Kris 450 FLOPS as Mone moves!! Mone and Kris are both down, and Mone goes after the bad leg! Mone drops elbow after elbow on the knee! The fans boo as Mone just HAMMERS the leg! Kris CLUBS at Mone, but Mone drags Kris around. Mone stomps the leg, steps on it, then goes to the corner. The fans boo as Mone goes up. FROG SPLASH on legs!! Cover, TWO!!!! Kris still escapes and Mone is about to lose her mind. But then Mone manages a sinister smile as she stalks Kris. Mone dares Kris to stand, and Kris does rise. “This is Awesome!” as Mone hits a BACKSTABBER!

Mone flips Kris over, BACKSTABBER again! Mone isn’t done, she has the Gory Especial, MONEY MAKER!! Cover, TWO?!?!?! Kris survives Mone’s best shot and no one can believe it! And yet Newark LOVES it! Mone tries to understand what’s going on, and she shrieks again. Mone grits her teeth as she glares down at Kris. Mone drags Kris up, talks trash that she is THE CEO! Mone SLAPS Kris, then brings her around. But Kris fights the Gory Especial to flip and backslide! TWO, and Mone hooks an arm! LA MAGISTROL, roll through, ELECTRIC CHAIR LIFT!! And SLAM!!! Kris isn’t done there, she double pump handles!

Kris FLIPS Mone into the gut wrench! Mone CLUBS away on the bad leg! She BITES the leg! Mone is free, springboard, wheelbarrow and Kris is sent into ropes! Cover, MONE WINS!

The Switchblade and the Blackhat Cowboy have been rivals ever since their days as NJPW Young Lions. Their record heavily favors Jay White, with the only loss to Hangman happening because of Christian Cage’s influence. Will White finally right that wrong when he kicks it into Full Gear? The bell rings and the fans rally up. White and Hangman stare down, then slowly approach. They tie up, and Hangman powers White to a corner. The ref counts, White headlocks, and White grinds the hold. Hangman powers up but can’t power out as White holds tight. Hangman powers White to a corner, the ref calls the break, and White lets go. White dodges the sucker punch to CHOP! And CHOP! And CHOP! The fans fire up but Hangman shoves. White dodges to CHOP, CHOP and kick a leg. White headlocks but Hangman powers White to ropes, then TOSSES him up and out! White clutches his ankle, Hangman goes out to CLUB away on the leg!

Hangman stalks White around the way, puts him on the apron, and he SLAMS the bad leg on the edge! Hangman refreshes the count just so he can drag White to a corner. Hangman SLAMS the foot into the post! The fans boo but Hangman storms in. Hangman drags White around, drops an ELBOW on the knee, then CLUBS away on the foot! Hangman then has the foot for a DDT! White writhes and crawls to a corner, but Hangman storms over. Hangman CHOPS White, then he puts the leg in ropes. The ref counts as Hangman pulls, and Hangman stops at 4 to tell the ref to back off. The fans actually duel, “Let’s Go, Switchblade!” “COWBOY SH*T!” Hangman stands White up, puts him up top, and then climbs up after him. Hangman flips off the Newark Gold Members, then BITES White’s face! Hangman then goes to the very top, brings White up, and he scoops for a SUPER FALL AWAY SLAM! Cover, TWO!! White survives but he sputters and flounders to the apron. Hangman storms over, climbs up the corner, and he drags White up. White drops down to trip Hangman! And now White SLAMS Hangman’s leg into the post! The ref reprimands but the fans rally as White SLAMS the leg against post again!

White hobbles into the ring, hauls Hangman up, and then hoists Hangman up top. White climbs, and he has Hangman on the very top! SUPER DUPER PLEX!! White crawls to a cover, TWO!! Hangman stays in this and the fans rally up again. White crawls around and he grabs Hangman’s bad leg. Hangman kicks with his good leg and White hobbles away. But White comes back to CHOP! White suplexes, but the bad leg holds him back! Hangman CHOP BLOCKS the leg! Hangman fireman’s carries, but his own leg stops him! White CHOP BLOCKS Hangman! The fans rally up while both men are down.

White and Hangman rise, and White grins as he runs up to ROCK Hangman with a forearm! Hangman ROCKS White, White ROCKS Hangman, repeat! Hangman fires a flurry, but White CHOPS! And CHOPS! But Hangman ROCKS White again! White hobbles, rebounds, and LARIATS! Hangman stays up, DOUBLE LARIATS collide! both men stay up, Hangman swings, but White catches Hangman to a FLATLINER! Deadlift GERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO! White drags Hangman up, clinches, URE- NO, Hangman arm-drags free! And then POP-UP SIT-DOWN POWERBOMBS! Cover, TWO!!!

White barely gets his arm up and Hangman is beside himself! The fans rally up and White rolls to the apron. Hangman storms over and the fans fire up. Hangman goes to the apron, he brings White up, and the ref wants this in the ring. Hangman ignores that to Alabama Lift, but White fights free! White has the SLEEPER, but Hangman ELBOWS free! Hangman BOOTS White, then swings, but into the SLEEPER! APRON SLEEPER SUPLEX!!! The fans are thunderous while Hangman flops to the floor! The ref checks him and Hangman is somehow still in this. White shakes out his bad foot, then he heads after Hangman.

The fans rally, Hangman takes a swing, but White catches him again! SLEEPER SUPLEX on the floor! White sees Hangman is a ragdoll, so he just leaves Hangman behind! The fans rally and White refreshes the count! White goes back for Hangman at the ramp, and he clamps on again! SHIN- NO, Hangman CLAWS the eyes! White lets Hangman go, and Hangman SHOVES White into railing! The ref reprimands and says to get this in the ring. Hangman drags White around, and he SLAMS the bad leg into the railing! And SLAMS the leg again! Hangman wedges the leg between railing, and then BOOTS the railing!!

The fans lose their minds as Hangman is clearly looking to break White’s foot! Hangman drags White around with an ANKLE LOCK!! The ref reprimands, Hangman no longer cares about being in the ring! The count begins, and White fights his way towards ringside! Hangman keeps him back but White keeps fighting! The count passes 5, then 7! White grabs the ropes! Will Ospreay VS Kyle Fletcher w/ Don Callis!

We just saw a storied rivalry in Hangman and White play out, but this is itself a story as old as time. The Aerial Assassin led The Aussie Arrow in the United Empire and felt they were not just friends but brothers. And yet, perhaps with the influence of Don Callis, Kyle became bitter and betrayed Ospreay. However, Kyle’s a bit hypocritical, saying he’s nothing like Ospreay yet doing just what Ospreay has done to his own mentors. Going by the new ring gear, is Ospreay going to punish Kyle for his crimes? Or is Kyle going to make himself the new king?

The former friends stare down as they put aside their new entrance attire. Callis joins commentary and says he’s going to enjoy hearing all the disappointment. The bell rings, and the two men RAM each other! The forearms fly and the fans fire up! Kyle kicks, headlocks, but Ospreay powers out. Kyle RAMS Ospreay, Ospreay RAMS Kyle, then Ospreay ROCKS Kyle! Ospreay runs but Kyle CLOBBERS him! The fans boo but Kyle kicks Ospreay, then CHOPS! Kyle ROCKS Ospreay, whips, but Ospreay ducks ‘n’ dodges to RANA! Kyle tumbles out and the fans fire up! Ospreay PLANCHAS, but Kyle moves!

Kyle kicks Ospreay and whips him hard into railing! The fans boo but Kyle soaks up the heat. Kyle then positions the steel steps and he brings Ospreay up. Kyle suplexes, but Ospreay fights it! Ospreay suplexes but Kyle fights it! Kyle whips but Ospreay LEAPS over the steps! Osprey then LAUCNHES off the steps to FLYING RANA! The fans are thunderous already and Callis says he never took away from Ospreay’s ability. Callis just feels Kyle is “ready.” Ospreay puts Kyle in and the fans sing, “OSPREAY~, OSPREAY OSPREAY OSPREAY!” Ospreay CHOPS Kyle, CHOPS again, and then he stalks Kyle to a corner.

Kyle ROCKS Ospreay, fires shots, but Ospreay RAMS him. Ospreay whips, Kyle reverses, and Ospreay hits buckles hard! Ospreay flounders, Kyle hits a BASEMENT DDT! Kyle rains down fists and he tears at the shoulder tape! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Kyle CLUBS Ospreay as he lets off. Kyle soaks up the heat as the fans cheer on Ospreay. Kyle snarls as he stalks Ospreay to an apron. Kyle brings Ospreay up, suplexes, but Ospreay fights with knees! Ospreay then kicks and underhooks Kyle! Kyle fights and POSTS Ospreay! Kyle runs up, Ospreay puts him up and over! Kyle climbs ropes, but he avoids the steps!

Kyle has Ospreay and HOTSHOTS him against buckles! Ospreay goes to the floor, Kyle goes after him, BRAINBUSTER on the floor! The fans boo but the ref checks Ospreay. Ospreay is still in this and he gets his arms to move. The fans cuss out Callis but Kyle rises up. A ring count starts but Kyle puts Ospreay in at 4 of 10. Kyle then covers, TWO as Ospreay gets an arm up. Kyle pushes it down, TWO as Ospreay pushes it back up! Another cover, TWO as Ospreay bridges! Kyle flips Ospreay over to STOMP the shoulder! Kyle tears at the tape again, then CLUBS Ospreay! And KICKS him down! And stomps him again!

The fans boo Kyle while Ospreay tells the ref he is still in this. Ospreay rises, Kyle KICKS him! And KICKS! The fans boo but Kyle soaks up the heat. Ospreay blocks the kick! Ospreay CHOPS, CHPOS, but Kyle kicks. Kyle whips but Ospreay ducks ‘n’ dodges, handsprings, but the arm gives out! Ospreay tumbles, Kyle BLINDSIDE KICKS! And then he has Ospreay in ropes, DRAPING DDT! Cover, TWO!! Ospreay survives but Kyle shows he’s a viper in his own right. Kyle clamps on a dragon sleeper and he has the body scissors! Ospreay endures, the fans rally, and Ospreay fights around. Ospreay fights up to kick and KNEE Kyle!

Ospreay is free, he ROCKS Kyle, and then ROCKS Kyle again! Ospreay whips but Kyle blocks! Kyle goes to whip but Ospreay blocks! Ospreay BOOTS Kyle, runs, ducks ‘n’ dodges to tilt-o-whirl, but Kyle fights the DDT to MICHINOKU DRIVER! Cover, TWO!! Ospreay survives again and Kyle is frustrated. Ospreay shakes out the bad arm while Kyle soaks up more heat. Kyle then aims from the corner, runs in at Ospreay, but Ospreay ducks! The gamangiri sends Kyle tumbling out, and Ospreay runs up to BOOT! Kyle goes down, Ospreay goes up! Callis can’t believe he’s about to do this! SUPER SKY TWISTER!!

The fans are thunderous and both men are down on the outside! Ospreay shakes out the arms then rises up. Ospreay puts Kyle in the ring, then aims from an apron. Kyle stands into PIP PIP CHEERIO! Cover, TWO! Ospreay keeps cool and he shakes his arm out again. Ospreay drags Kyle up, the fans rally, but Kyle fights the lift! Ospreay shifts to give Kawada Kicks! Kyle wobbles, Ospreay winds up, and Ospreay CHOPS! Kyle wobbles, but he eggs Ospreay on. Ospreay CHOPS again! Kyle CHOPS in return! Ospreay staggers back, but he nods! The fans fire up as Kyle waits. Ospreay CHOPS! Kyle sputters, but now Ospreay puts his hands behind his back!

Kyle winds up, and SUPERKICKS! Kyle soaks up the heat for suckering Ospreay in. Ospreay is in a corner, Kyle runs up, but Ospreay puts him up! Tuck in and CHEEKY NANDOS! Torture rack and TOWER HACKER BOMB! Cover, TWO! Kyle stays in this and Ospreay is a bit surprised. The fans rally up as Ospreay rises, and he aims from an apron. HIDDEN- BOOT! Kyle runs to BOOT again, then he HALF ‘N’ HALF SUPLEXES! Ospreay lands out to ROUDNHOUSE! And then he swats a lariat to HOOK KICK! Ospreay springboards, OS- NECKBREAKER!! Kyle then hauls Ospreay up, LAST RIDE!! Cover, TWO!!!

The fans are thunderous again as Ospreay survives! Kyle is beside himself and even looks to Callis for answers. Callis has nothing but the fans cheer on “A E DUB! A E DUB!” Kyle and Ospreay go to opposite ends, and then they stare down again. Kyle runs up to GAMANGIRI! And then suplex for the- STUN DOG MILLIONAIRE! Ospreay goes up, but Kyle SHOVES him out! Ospreay skins the cat! Kyle is there but Ospreay has him in a headscissor! They tumble to the floor, Ospreay inverted suplexes so he can gut wrench! TOMBSTONE on the floor!! The fans again lose their minds and the ref checks Kyle.

Somehow, Kyle is okay to continue, as is Ospreay. The ring count begins, and Ospreay rises up at 3 of 10. Ospreay stands at 4, rolls in at 5, but Kyle is still down. We hit 7 as Kyle sputters. We hit 8, Kyle rises at 9, and he slides in at 9.9! To get a COAST2COAST! Ospreay is right up top to LEAP OF FAITH!! Cover, TWO!!! Kyle survives that Cancun Tornado and “This is Awesome!” Ospreay and Kyle stir, and Ospreay prepares his arm! Kyle sits up, Ospreay runs in, HIDDEN- NO, Kyle ducks it! But Ospreay rolls through the lariat! But Kyle slips through the bomb! LAST- NO, Ospreay slips free! Kyle ducks a kick to SUPERKICK!

Kyle runs, into Ospreay’s SPANISH FLY!! HIDDEN- LARIAT from Kyle!! Kyle roars, runs, BUT INTO HIDDEN BLADE!!! Both men are down and the fans are electric! A standing count starts, but the fans hope they “FIGHT FOREVER!” Ospreay and Kyle stir, and Ospreay stands at 6. Ospreay calls his shot, goes up and up, but Kyle trips him up! Ospreay lands on his Billy Goat, and Kyle climbs up. Ospreay fires elbows and then REAR HEADBUTTS! Kyle falls back, but he GAMANGIRIS! Kyle climbs, brings Ospreay up, but Ospreay fights the suplex. Kyle CLUBS away on Ospreay, tries again, but Ospreay leaps to SUPER SUNSET!

Kyle blocks the bomb but Ospreay adjusts to STYLES CLASH!! TWO!! Off comes the elbow pad! HIDDEN BLADE!!! Cover, TWO?!?! Kyle survives and shocks everyone, especially Ospreay! The fans again hope these two “FIGHT FOREVER!” as Kyle flounders. Ospreay KICKS Kyle in the side, kicks him around more, then stomps him and punches him on the apron. The ref reprimands but the fans fire up as Ospreay throws down more shots. Ospreay steps out to the apron, Callis says this is all from jealousy! Ospreay reels Kyle in, and he slashes his throat while staring Callis down. Ospreay underhooks, but Kyle fights the lift!

Ospreay fires Kawada Kicks, then he aims for the steps! Ospreay underhooks, but Kyle fights out of the rack to gut wrench! JUMPING TOMBSTONE onto the steel steps!!! Both men have a rough landing, but while Kyle clutches his leg, Ospreay clutches his neck! The ref checks both men, and somehow both men are still in this! The fans tell Kyle he’s sick, but he rises up and goes for Ospreay. Kyle tells Ospreay that he isn’t letting Ospreay lose by count-out! Kyle is going to prove he is better! Kyle puts Ospreay in the ring, takes aim, and Ospreay flounders to ropes. Ospreay rises up, Kyle runs in and CALF KICKS!

Kyle hurries to lift Ospreay, GRIMSTONE PILEDRIVER!!! Cover, TWO?!?!? Ospreay survives and the fans are thunderous! Kyle mockingly applauds and leans against ropes as Ospreay sputters. The fans rally for Ospreay as hard as they can but Kyle nods. Kyle encourages them to keep trying, because so will he! Kyle underhooks the arms, grins, but Ospreay flips to victory roll! TWO!!! Kyle escapes, runs up, into a HIDDEN BLADE!! Both men lean on each other, but Kyle smirks. Ospreay flounders, fires forearms, but Kyle says Ospreay has nothing and IS nothing! Wrench and ELBOW BREAKER! Kyle taunts Ospreay but Ospreay fires more shots!

Ospreay just can’t hit hard enough, and Kyle hits an ELBOW BREAKER on the other arm! Kyle POINT-BLANK LARIATS! Kyle eggs the fans on, then runs corner to corner, ENZIGIRI! Ospreay falls back but Kyle catches him. Kyle grins, puts Ospreay back in the corner, and wants Ospreay to see this one coming. Kyle goes corner to corner, for the GAMANGIRI!! Kyle puts Ospreay up top, climbs up, and he suplexes for the TOP ROPE BRAINBUSTER!!!! Cover, KYLE WINS!

Mina Shirakawa is here!

The fans cheer, and Mina has the mic. She introduces herself, and welcomes us to the Championship Champagne Celebration! So please welcome her friend, her partner, and the love of her life, the AEW Women’s World Champion, MARIAH MAY~! The fans are less excited to see Mariah make her way out here. Wow, what a shiner… The Glamour is so happy to see all the decorations Mina has for their celebration, especially the pictures of them together. Mariah takes the mic to say, “We finally did it! This is the celebration I always deserved! It was a tough four months, but it was all worth it to step on, beat and kill this entire division!

“Because there is not a single woman alive who can touch me! And Mina~!” The fans do cheer Mina, and Mariah says Mina is her one true friend. Mariah could not have done this without her. Mina says hold on. Time for the bubbly! They hold up their glasses, lace arms, and Mina says, “To the AEW Women’s World Champion, Mariah May! Long may she reign!” They sip the champagne, and Mariah says time to celebrate. The music plays, the champion and her best friend dance around, and uh… Wait, no, what is Mariah about to do with that bottle!? Mina dodges the sneak attack, and asks what the hell! But then she KICKS the bottle to pieces!

Mariah SPITS at Mina! Mina is furious, and says F U MARIAH!! Mina TACKLES Mariah off the stage and down through tables!! Refs and medics hurry to check these two, just how twisted is Mariah that she’d turn on her best friend? Mina rises, blood in her mouth, and maybe a missing tooth. But what’s worse is that her heart has been broken! Mina drags Mariah up, gives her one last bloody kiss, and then leaves Mariah down on the ground. Will Mina make sure Mariah pays for this by taking what Mariah truly loves in that AEW Women’s World Championship?

 

AEW TNT Championship: Jack Perry VS Daniel Garcia!

The Scapegoat and The Elite may not care about what The Death Riders are doing, but Red Death does. And Garcia won’t let The Elite act so high and mighty when they’re not fighting the real fight. Will Garcia make sure he becomes a Face of TNT that we can believe in? Or will Perry make sure Garcia understands what it takes to carry that weight?

Garcia’s entrance has a special video. It mixes family home videos with a voicemail from Mama Garcia. Mama Garcia knows Danny wants to help everyone and solve the world’s problems, even help the people he doesn’t care about, but it’s time for Danny to fight for himself. The fans cheer that as Garcia makes his way out to the ring. As for Perry, he sticks to his goat mask, but adds fire to the entrance. The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see whose heart is really in this fight.

The bell rings and the fans rally up. The fans chant “C M PUNK!” at Perry and Garcia smirks. The two tie up, go around, and Perry puts Garcia in a corner. The ref counts as both men push each other, and eventually Perry lets off. The fans rally as Garcia and Perry reset. They tie up, go around, and Garcia puts Perry in a corner. The ref counts, Garcia lets off slowly, but Perry smirks. Perry pie faces Garcia, then bails out of the ring. The fans boo but Garcia pursues. Perry slides into the ring, and he smirks at Garcia again. Garcia slides in but Perry slides back out. The fans continue to boo but the ring count starts.

Perry taunts Matt Menard on commentary, then he steps back into the ring. Perry and Garcia circle, tie up, and Garcia wrenches an arm. Garcia has the wristlock, but Perry breaks free to headlock. Garcia powers up and out, but Perry bails out! The fans boo but Perry shrugs it off. Garcia slides out, Perry slides in, and Garcia grows frustrated. Garcia cools off, the fans rally behind him, and Garcia slides back in. perry slides out, but Garcia has tricked him! Perry panics but Garcia catches him to send him into railing! The fans fire up as Garcia whips Perry into more railing! Garcia CHUCKS the chair aside to fire off hands!

Garcia storms around, runs back up, and he BOOTS Perry over the railing! The fans fire up and Garcia scowls as he brings Perry up. Garcia fires hands, then he DRAGS Perry back to ringside. Garcia brings Perry around, CLUBS him, then refreshes the ring count. Garcia pushes Perry against the post! The ref reprimands and counts but Garcia stops at 4. Garcia drags Perry around but Perry stops from being brought into the ring! DRAPING DDT to the floor! Garcia clutches his neck and Perry waves to the fans, before he whips Garcia into railing! Perry refreshes the ring count, goes back to Garcia, and he puts Garcia on the railing.

Perry taunts the fans before he DRAPING DDTS Garcia again! The ref checks Garcia but somehow Garcia is still in this. Perry hauls Garcia up, puts him in the ring, and then climbs up a corner. Garcia rises, Perry BLINDSIDE MISSILE DROPKICKS! Cover, TWO! Garcia grits his teeth as he toughs it out, but Perry drags him back up. Garcia fights the suplex but Perry fires body shots. Perry suplexes, Garcia shoves him, but Perry hits the COMEBACKER! Perry grins while Garcia reaches out in a daze. Perry CHOPS Garcia, then says, “They don’t care about people like us. I’ve been trying to tell you.”

Garcia and Perry stand, and Garcia counter punches! And counter punches! Garcia fires hands, whips, but Perry reverses. Perry drop toeholds, then floats around to have the legs! SNARE TRAP!! Garcia endures and crawls his way forward! Garcia drags Perry with him, but Perry CLAWS Garcia’s eyes! Garcia still finds the ROPEBREAK!

Perry lets go in frustration, but then he soaks up the heat from the fans. Perry throws Garcia out, joins him on the apron, and then CLUBS Garcia’s neck. APRON BACK SUPLEX!! Perry now stares Menard down and dares him to do something. Menard stands but Perry SHOVES him! Daddy Magic keeps his cool for Garcia’s sake, but Perry brings Garcia up. POWERBOMB through the timekeeper’s table! Perry dumps trash all over Garcia, then throws stuff from the announce desk! Perry takes Menard’s water, drinks it, then dumps the rest on Garcia. Perry leaves Garcia behind but Menard coaches Garcia to keep fighting.

The fans rally for Garcia but he is still down in the wreckage. The ring count is 5 of 10, Menard shouts for Garcia to get going! Garcia rises at 6, flounders at 7, and Menard says do it and do it now! Garcia hears 9! But he SPRINGS in at 9.99!! Perry is amused that Garcia stays in this. Perry kicks at Garcia, pie faces him, and says Garcia isn’t ready. Garcia seethes and he rises up! The fans fire up but Perry fires a forearm! And another! And another! Garcia BOOTS in return! Perry comes back, into a LARIAT from Garcia!! The fans fire up and Garcia roars! Garcia runs to forearm SMASH! Garcia stomps a mudhole, then he stands on Perry!

The ref counts, the fans fire up, and Garcia runs to BOOT WASH! Then a TOSS across the way! Garcia runs up, Perry BOOTS him, but Garcia wrenches and BUTTERFLY SUPLEXES into buckles! Perry is a heap in the corner, but Garcia sits him up. Garcia ties Perry’s hair to the rope! Garcia runs to SHOTGUN Perry down! The fans fire up and Garcia drags Perry up. Garcia reels Perry in, but Perry RAMS Garcia into a corner! Perry CHOPS and fans “WOO~!” Perry hoists Garcia up, CHOPS again, then climbs. Perry and Garcia brawl up top, and the fans rally behind Garcia. Garcia gets the edge, but then Perry CLAWS Garcia’s face!

Perry brings Garcia out, runs him corner to corner, LAWN DART into buckles! Then the torture rack, for the BURNING HAMMER!! Cover, TWO!! Garcia survives and the fans cheer! Perry is annoyed, but he goes out to fetch his belt. Perry takes the TNT Championship from the timekeeper, and he brings it into the ring!? The ref tells Perry not to do it, but Perry throws the belt down. Perry dares Garcia to use it! Perry kneels and leaves himself open. Garcia looks at the belt, he looks at Perry, and fans tell him “NO! NO! NO!” Garcia is tempted by this false prophet, but he gives the belt to the ref. So Perry LOW BLOWS!!

The ref missed that with having to put the title aside! Perry aims, SACRIFICIAL KNEE!! Cover, TWO?!? Garcia survives and Perry cannot believe it! Perry sits Garcia up, aims again, SACRI- NO, Garcia flops over! Perry almost laughs, and he sits Garcia back up. “We all have to sacrifice!” But Garcia TACKLES Perry to a jackknife! TWO!! Perry SUPER- NO, Garcia blocks the kick! Garcia flips Perry around, LEG CAPTURE DRIVER!!! Cover, TWO?!?! Perry survives and Garcia is beside himself! The fans rally up as both men slowly rise. Perry SLAPS Garcia! Perry talks trash that Garcia doesn’t have what it takes.

The ref counts, Garcia stops and Perry sputters. But then Perry grins!? Perry eggs Garcia on, so Garcia reels him in! PILEDRIVER!!! But Garcia says that is not enough! Not for what Perry has been doing! Garcia steps through, for the DRAGONSLAYER!!! Perry endures, reaches out, but Garcia drags him back!! Garcia sits deep on the hold! And then LEANS BACK!!! Perry TAPS, Garcia wins!!!

The bell rings and the fans rally up. Ricochet and Konosuke circle, tie up, and Konosuke powers Ricochet to ropes. The ref counts, Konosuke lets off slowly, but then he pie faces Ricochet! The fans boo but Ricochet circles with Konosuke. They tie up, Ricochet arm-drags, then he pie faces! And then arm-drags again! And again! Ricochet has the armlock and he taunts Konosuke. Konosuke fights up, CLUBS Ricochet, then wrenches. Ricochet rolls, kips up, and steps over to then float and arm-drag! Ricochet has the armlock again but Konosuke fights up. Konosuke puts Ricochet on ropes, whips, but Ricochet handsprings through the hip toss!

Ricochet goes to arm-drag but Konosuke blocks! Konosuke throws Ricochet, Ricochet dodges the lariat to handspring and RANA! And DROPKICK! The fans fire up and Konosuke snarls. The fans fire up with Ricochet as he runs in, RAMS Konosuke, then goes to the apron. Springboard, FLYING LARIAT! Ricochet roars and the fans fire up again! Konosuke goes to lift, Ricochet fights that, but Konosuke shoves him. Konosuke runs up, but Ricochet DUMPS him out! Ricochet ENZIGIRIS and Konosuke falls! Ricochet builds speed and he handsprings to SASUKE SPECIALS!! Down goes Konosuke and the fans fire up! Ricochet puts Konosuke in, springboards, and 450 SPLASHES! Cover, TWO!! Callis storms off of commentary to coach Konosuke. The fans boo but Ricochet just focuses on Konosuke. Konosuke rises and Ricochet KICKS! And KICKS! Ricochet runs up but Konosuke avoids the ax kick! Ricochet boots a lariat, SUPERKICKS, but Konosuke keeps Ricochet from running!

Ricochet SUPERKICKS again, handsprings, but into the BLUE THUNDER BOMB! Cover, TWO!! Ricochet survives and Konosuke is seething! Ricochet rises, Konosuke runs up, POWER- NO, Ricochet blocks the knee! Ricochet ROCKS Konosuke, Konosuke ALPHA ELBOWS! Ricochet sputters, but he rises up and shakes his head. Ricochet fires forearms, but Konosuke DECKS Ricochet with another elbow! Ricochet wrenches but Konosuke ducks the enzigiri! Deadlift, but Ricochet victory rolls! TWO and WHEELBARROW GERMAN!! Then TAKESHITA- V-TRIGGER! Ricochet dodges the lariat to LEAPING LARIAT! Both men are down and the fans fire up again! Callis shouts at “Take-kun” to get up but Ricochet rises first! Ricochet DROPKICKS Konosuke in the corner! Konosuke falls, Ricochet climbs, but Callis creeps over. Konosuke rises, and he CLUBS Ricochet! Konosuke climbs up, CLUBS away on Ricochet, then goes up higher! Konosuke brings Ricochet up, SUPER GERMAN SUPLEX!!!

The fans go nuts as Konosuke gets moving, CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL!! Cover, TWO?!? Ricochet survives, but Konosuke aims again! POWER DRIVE KNEE!!! Cover, TWO!?!? Ricochet survives and Konosuke is shocked! Callis protests the count but the ref defends it was fair. Konosuke stomps away on Ricochet, then he SENTONS! Konosuke drags Ricochet to a drop zone then goes up a corner. But Ricochet rises and jumps up after him! SUPER STEINER!! Then POISON-RANA!! Konosuke is in the drop zone, Ricochet goes up top! SHOOTING STAR!! Cover, TWO!! Callis is relieved but Ricochet is furious!

Ricochet goes back to the corner, and he tells Callis to watch this. Ricochet locks ‘n’ loads, runs up, SPIRIT- NO, Konosuke ducks under! Ricochet hurries to get Konosuke back up, dragon sleepers, but Konosuke spins it around! Konosuke suplexes, Ricochet slips fere and tries again, but Konosuke deadlifts! Tuck and BASTARD DRIVER!!! Cover, TWO!?!?! The fans are thunderous but Konosuke is furious! Down goes the kneepad! POWER DRIVE- NO, Ricochet dodges, wrenches, DREAMCAST KICK! Suplex and ANARCHY!! But that’s not all! Fireman’s carry, for the DETONATION KICK!! Cover, TWO?!?!?

The fans are thunderous and Ricochet fires up again! Ricochet goes up top, ready to end this! Ricochet aims, but Konosuke rises up! Konosuke trips Ricochet, then runs in to POWER DRIVE KNEE to the back! Konosuke climbs up to bring Ricochet up, for a SUPER RAGING FIRE!! Cover, Konosuke wins!!

Swerve Strickland w/ Prince Nana VS Bobby Lashley w/ The Hurt Syndicate!

The Realest was just trying to rebuild his house, but a new business had to go and show up in AEW. Swerve chose NOT to join The Hurt Syndicate, so now The Hurt Syndicate wants to take Swerve out! Will the All Mighty’s wrath be satiated here tonight? Or will Swerve prove he’s still AEW’s most dangerous man?

The bell rings and the two circle. The fans still rally for “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Lashley runs up, Swerve dodges, and Swerve BOOTS Lashley! Lashley stays up to CLOBBER Swerve! Swerve staggers up, and Lashley scoop SLAMS him! Lashley then POSTS Swerve, brings him around, and fires ELBOW after ELBOW! The ref counts, but Lashley CLUBS Swerve down and he digs his boot in! Lashley lets off as the ref counts again, but then Lashley puts Swerve on ropes to CHOKE! The ref counts more, Lashley brings Swerve out to NECKBREAKER! The fans chant “We Hurt People!” as Lashley hauls Swerve up!

Lashley Canadian Racks before hitting an AK47! Cover, Lashley lets Swerve up!? Lashley is toying with Swerve already and Nana is annoyed by that. Lashley rains down fists and the fans rally. Lashley stands Swerve up to suplex, and he holds Swerve up for a count of TEN before the SLAM! The fans cheer the feat of strength and Lashley says it’s too easy. Nana keeps the fans cheering on “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Lashley pushes Swerve around, and Swerve snarls. Lashley pie faces Swerve, CHOKES him on ropes, but lets off as the ref counts. Swerve RISING HEADBUTTS! Swerve fires fast hands, but Lashley throat chops!

Lashley POSTS Swerve again, then he brings Swerve out. Lashley scoops and RUNNING POWERSLAMS! Cover, TWO! Swerve survives but Lashley is upset. Lashley clamps on a chinlock and he grinds Swerve down. The fans rally up and Swerve endures, but Lashley cranks on the hold. Swerve fights up, even as MVP talks trash on how he just wanted Swerve to learn from the Hurt Syndicate. Swerve fires body shots but Lashley KNEES low, CLUBS Swerve, then whips him to the corner. Lashley pumps up and runs up, but Swerve BOOTS him down! The fans fire up and Nana cheers Swerve on!

Swerve climbs the corner, but Shelton Benjamin gets on the apron! Swerve kicks at Shelton but Shelton says he’s not who Swerve should worry about. Speaking of, Lashley BLASTS Swerve off the apron! The ref still reprimands Shelton, and Nana protests. Swerve crawls around the way, but Lashley runs up! Swerve gets Nana out of the way so only Swerve gets CLOBBERED! Lashley flexes and grins, the fans are torn. Lashley slaps Swerve around, then hauls him up to whip into railing! The dueling of “We Hurt People!” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” continues, but Lashley brings Swerve up. Lashley SMACKS Swerve off the apron, then pushes him in.

Lashley and MVP dap it up, but then Swerve KNES Lashley off the apron! The fans rally up as Swerve rises again. Swerve builds speed but Shelton trips him up! The fans boo, the ref says that’s it! The ref EJECTS Shelton!! The fans cheer as the Standard of Excellence is gone, and Swerve PLANCHAS, but into Lashley’s arm! APRON SPINEBUSTER! Lashley then THROWS Swerve into railing! Lashley then positions the steel steps just right before he goes back to Swerve. Lashley scoops, runs, but Swerve slips free! Lashley is sent into the steps! Swerve then shoves Lashley into the POST!

Swerve SMACKS Lashley off the steps, and SMACKS him off them again! And again! And again! The fans fire up and Swerve lets off to feed off that energy. MVP coaches Lashley as Lashley hobbles, and Swerve stalks him. Swerve goes to the apron, he drags Lashley around, but Lashley CHOKES Swerve! Swerve CLAWS Lashley’s face! Swerve hits an APRON DDT!! Both men hit the floor hard but Lashley manages to move. MVP shouts at Lashley to get up but Nana says Swerve can calculate it. Swerve waits for Lashley to be in the right spot, then he runs up the steel steps! KILL STOMPS through the table!! Spanish commentary is destroyed!!

The fans lose their minds as both Swerve and Lashley are down, but Lashley is in much worse shape! Swerve rises up, and he drags Lashley up and into the ring! MVP is freaking out but Nana says this is still Swerve’s House! Swerve stalks Lashley, lines up another shot, and with wild eyes, he hits a HOUSE CALL!! And then Swerve powers up in the corner! The fans are thunderous as Swerve goes up, up, and KILL STOMPS!! Cover, TWO?!?! Lashley survives two critical hits and he bails out of the ring! MVP tells Lashley to get up and fight! Swerve spins MVP around and the two stare down. MVP stands down, and Swerve has Lasnhley.

But Lashley OVERHEAD BELLY2BELLY SUPLEXES! Swerve tumbles and MVP says attack, kill, destroy! Lashley SPEARS Swerve through barriers!! The fans lose their minds and MVP is all fired up! Nana is speechless as Lashley drags Swerve back into the ring. Lashley stalks Swerve, takes aim, and SPEARS again!! But that’s not enough for Lashley or MVP, as Lashley hauls Swerve up into the HURT LOCK!!! Swerve is OUT, Lashley wins!!

Nana is again speechless as he gets in the ring, but MVP tells him to back off! MVP and Lashley stand over Swerve, and Shelton even returns to join the celebration. Wait, now the Hurt Syndicate drags Nana into the ring! And they put the HURT LOCK on Nana!! The fans boo but Shelton keeps the ref from getting in. Nana is out fast, and Lashley drops him in a heap! Swerve can only feebly reach out for his manager and friend. Swerve may be a dangerous man, but Lashley is a living weapon. Will nothing stop the Hurt Syndicate from taking what they want in AEW?

 

AEW World Championship: Jon Moxley w/ Marina Shafir VS Orange Cassidy!

It is surreal how so much can change in a year. Full Gear 2023 saw these two fight for the AEW International Championship. On that night, Cassidy found a way to win and hold onto his title. But now, these two fight not only for the WORLD title, but perhaps for the fate of AEW itself! Will The Maniac and his Death Riders continue their reign of terror? Or will AEW’s future be Freshly Squeezed?

Marina hands over the briefcase that holds the title inside, and now the introductions are made. And then ORANGE PUNCH! The bell rings, ORANGE PUNCH again! ORANGE PUNCH again!! And then Cassidy DIVES on Moxley! The fans are thunderous because Cassidy is taking this seriously! Cassidy fires hands, then he whips Moxley hard into railing! Cassidy fires hands, then he TOSSES Moxley onto the desk! Cassidy hops on to rain down fists! Fans count along, Cassidy goes to TEN! The fans fire up and Cassidy shrugs, to rain down more fists! Cassidy stops at 9, to BITE Moxley’s face! Moxley flails, gets away, but Cassidy pursues!

Moxley kicks Cassidy, CLAWS his eyes, and then crotches him on the railing! Orange flops over from landing on his plums, and Moxley goes after him. Moxley sends Cassidy into the back wall! The fans are torn but Moxley tells the ref to be patient. But Cassidy comes back to TACKLLE Moxley! Cassidy fires hands, but Moxley fires knees into Cassidy! Moxley TOSSES Cassidy back to ringside, then he drags Cassidy around to a corner of the railing. Moxley makes Cassidy take a seat before raining down fists! Moxley gets space, then runs up to BOOT! Cassidy sputters, but he pushes Moxley. Moxley eggs Cassidy on, so Cassidy fires a forearm.

Moxley DECKS Cassidy! Moxley brings Cassidy to the steps, and STOMPS him down! The fans rally and duel, Moxley soaks it all in, and then Moxley goes back for Cassidy. Cassidy is busted open from the edge of the steps! Moxley drags Cassidy up and puts him in. Moxley taunts Cassidy, who is dazed and confused. Moxley TOSSES Cassidy out, then he brings the steel steps around. Moxley drags Cassidy up and brings him over, to then go up the steps! Moxley reels Cassidy in, underhooks, and STEEL STEP PARADIGM SHIFT!! Cassidy flounders to the floor while Moxley leaves him behind.

Moxley paces around, waiting on the ref. The ref checks Cassidy and somehow Cassidy is still in this. Moxley waits in the ring, but then Marina gets a cheap shot in! The fans boo but the ref gets suspicious. Marina defends her innocence while Cassidy crawls. Cassidy rolls into the ring but Moxley storms right up. Moxley short arm LARIATS Cassidy, but Cassidy eggs Moxley on?! Moxley BOOTS Cassidy, then puts him in a corner to BITE him! Moxley wants to open Orange up more but the fans tell him he’s sick! The ref reprimands, especially as Moxley scrapes his boot off Cassidy’s face. Moxley lets off to then drag Cassidy up.

Moxley brings Cassidy around, reels him in, and stalls to have the Gotch PILEDRIVER! Moxley takes his time getting the cover, TWO! Moxley pushes Cassidy down so he can rain down fists! The ref reprimands so Moxley shifts to forearms and elbows! Moxley DIGS his elbow into the wound, then JAMS Cassidy again. Moxley TOSSES Cassidy out, then he storms out to clear off Spanish commentary! That desk just got rebuilt, but Moxley wants to destroy it again! Moxley puts Cassidy on the desk, CLAWS him up and down, and then BITES Cassidy’s fingers! The ref reprimands, Moxley rains down more fists, but Cassidy CLAWS Moxley!

The fans fire up as Cassidy turns things around, and he RAMS Moxley into the desk! Moxley BOOTS back, then RAMS Cassidy into steel steps! Moxley talks smack as he paces around, then he high-fives Marina with his bloody hand. Marina is actually a bit amused, but Moxley goes back to Cassidy. Cassidy rises up but Moxley pushes him into the ring. Cassidy’s blood paints the canvas while Moxley storms in. Moxley waits on Cassidy, and then BOOTS him! Cassidy sits up and eggs Moxley on again! Moxley BOOTS Cassidy back down, but now Cassidy’s getting mad! The fans fire up but Moxley BOOTS Cassidy again!

Cassidy storms around, even though he’s on his knees! Moxley kicks and KICKS and KICKS, but Cassidy does not stay down! Moxley KICKS Cassidy in the arm, that keeps Cassidy down. Moxley then drags Cassidy up for an X-PLEX! Cover, TWO! DOUBLE WRISTLOCK! Moxley twists that arm but Cassidy fights around to the ROPEBREAK! The ref counts, Moxley lets go, and the fans rally up again. Cassidy goes to the apron but Moxley runs up to BLAST him down! Cassidy hits railing, and Moxley flips off the fans. The fans boo Moxley while the ring count starts. Cassidy is still down at 5 of 10, but he’s sitting up.

Cassidy stands at 7 and says okay, hold on. Cassidy goes to the apron, rolls in, and the fans cheer as Cassidy tells Moxley to keep going. Moxley gets in Cassidy’s face, Cassidy rises up, and Cassidy fires a forearm! And another! Now Moxley eggs Cassidy on, so Cassidy fires another shot! Moxley DECKS Cassidy! Moxley hoists Cassidy to the top rope, and he CHOPS! CHOPS! Moxley climbs, then he CLAWS Cassidy’s back! The fans boo, then freak out as we see the trail of the fingers in Cassidy’s back! But Cassidy returns the favor as he CLAWS Moxley’s back! Cassidy fires forearms, and he DECKS Moxley!

Moxley comes back, Cassidy leaps, but Moxley DECKS Cassidy outta the sky! Cover, TWO! Moxley hooks a leg and grabs at Cassidy’s head! Cassidy resists the full STF so Moxley shifts to have the leg lock. Moxley bridges around, HEADSCISSOR DEATHLOCK COMBO! Then Moxley FISHHOOKS Cassidy! Cassidy BITES those fingers, but Moxley shifts to a GUILLOTINE! Cassidy goes to ropes, the ref counts, and Moxley lets go. Moxley puts Cassidy up top, climbs up, and he reels Cassidy in! Cassidy fights the lift and the fans rally up! Cassidy throws body shots and he SHOVES Moxley down! Moxley is back up, into DEEP IMPACT!!

The fans fire up as Cassidy nods and rises up! The fans cheer on “A E DUB! A E DUB!” as both men stand. Cassidy runs, tilt-o-whirls, and DDTS! Cassidy kips up, he’s hit a new gear! Cassidy runs up, into a CUTTER!! Moxley storms around while fans boo, and Moxley drags Cassidy up. Moxley underhooks, but Cassidy wrenches out to SLAP! Moxley SLAPS, it is a SLAP fight! Then they go to forearms! Cassidy holds his own with Moxley, but then he wobbles! The fans rally, Moxley eggs Cassidy on, so Cassidy fires another forearm! The shots keep going, and Moxley gets annoyed. Cassidy SLAPS him!

Moxley fires a forearm, but Cassidy puts his hands up! And then IN HIS POCKETS! The fans fire up as Cassidy “unleashes” kicks! Cassidy winds up, but then dodges Moxley to ORANGE PUNCH!! And then another ORANGE PUNCH!! Moxley goes to a corner, Cassidy runs in, victory roll! TWO!! ORANGE- LARIAT!! Moxley stops the roll, but Cassidy kips up?!? ORANGE PUNCH!! Moxley rebounds, into BEACH BREAK!! Cover, TWO!!! Moxley survives what did him in just a year ago! The fans boo but mostly because here comes the REST of The Death Riders! Claudio & Pac are now ringside and the ref is wary of them.

Pac & Claudio get on the apron, but the ref tells them to stop right there. They ignore him, so here comes The Conglomeration! Kyle O’Reilly, Tomohiro Ishii & Rocky Romero fight Claudio & Pac! Claudio THROWS Rocky, THROWS Kyle, but Kyle is right up! Ishii and Pac brawl, as do Kyle and Claudio! But then Rocky climbs up! Azucar aims, to SUPER CROSSBODY them all down! The fans fire up, but Marina has the briefcase! Marina gets the greenlight from Moxley, but HERE COMES WILLOW! Willow Nightingale CLOBBERS Marina! The Babe with the Power takes care of the Problem, and Cassidy has the case!!

Cassidy thinks about it, and he CLOBBERS Moxley!!! Cover, TWO?!?!?! Moxley survives by nanoseconds and Cassidy is seething! Who knew he could even seethe! Moxley flounders around, Cassidy throws off the elbow pad, but Moxley grabs at the ref! YUTA HITS A BUSAIKU KNEE!! The Decoder was the ace up the sleeve! DEATH RIDER!!! Cover, Moxley wins!

Winner: Jon Moxley, by pinfall (still AEW World Champion)

The Conglomeration was short one man, and that was all Moxley needed to win this war of attrition! Moxley snatches his briefcase and stands tall with it. Cassidy scowls at Yuta, but Yuta just ignores him. Moxley then goes back to Cassidy! What is that bottle Yuta has? That’s the cleaning solution used for the ring! Moxley makes Yuta open his mouth! Yuta SPLASHES the solution all on Cassidy’s bloody face and open mouth!! Cassidy coughs and wretches but Moxley and Yuta stomp him out! Cassidy falls to the floor, but HANGMAN PAGE is here!? Hangman CLOBBERS Yuta with a chair!! What an unlikely hero!!

Moxley is just as confused by this, but he and Hangman have a long standing history through AEW’s run. Moxley says hold on, Hangman, hear him out. But wait, here comes CHRISTIAN CAGE! KILLSWITCH on Moxley!!! Is this what we think it is?!? Hangman has the clipboard, Christian asks for it, and Hangman hands Christian the clipboard rather reluctantly. Hangman leaves, and Christian smiles. Is this the moment!? Is The Patriarch going to cash in?! Christian looks at the clipboard, but WAIT! Jay White is here! BLADERUNNER!!! White says he would come after Christian next! Christian runs away, but now The Death Riders go after White!

The fans boo as Claudio & Pac beat down White so Marina can get Moxley outta here! White grins and says if that’s how they wanna play it. The fans do cheer as at least now, there are more AEW stars standing up to the tyranny! White takes a chair with him as he heads to the back. Speaking of, The Death Riders are headed to the parking lot and their truck. But then a CAR CRASHES INTO THE TRUCK!! And by all that skull and cross bone graffiti on it, that can only be… YES, IT’S DARBY ALLIN! The Death Rider decide to commandeer someone’s SUV! The Death Riders escape the Relentless One’s wrath, but Darby says where the F are they going?! Let’s end this now!!

Darby climbs up onto the truck to SMASH the windshield! Security and even some AEW stars rush out here to ask what the heck, but it is clear what Darby wants. Will this undead underdog be next to take the fight to the Death Riders?

My Thoughts:

While AEW sells All In and All Out as the biggest shows of their calendar, Full Gear always feels rather special, and that was certainly much of this one. Awesome match quality as always, even in the Zero Hour, which to my surprise only has three matches. But at the same time, they actually gave the Zero Hour (which was really 90 minutes again) a great balance. They got to a match pretty early with Deonna VS Anna. That was really the only weak match of the night as Taya’s ejection was done in such a sloppy way. How did the ref NOT see Taya hit Anna with a Spear? And at the same time, he obviously chose not to disqualify just because of story where Anna needed to win with a pin. I still say this is a good story opportunity for bringing Tay Melo back.

Great Fatal 4 Way, though just more for filling time than anything. Great win for Buddy Matthews, though, and I hope he’s part of this year’s Continental Classic. He might not win it, but he’ll have a strong showing through it. And of course, the Zero Hour main event being AJ VS QT was the right choice. Fans have been arguing about the merits of social media influencers being part of AEW as if its the same as WWE with Logan Paul. I will put forward that the major differences are: Big Boom AJ was a pro-wrestler long before he was on TikTok; and unlike Logan Paul’s divisive reputation, just about everyone who knew about “The Costco guys” actually like them. Good win for AJ, but I wouldn’t exactly expect him to be going for a title any time soon.

Another good thing from the Zero Hour was learning about the WrestleDynasty International Women’s Cup. Athena, Billie, Leyla and Velvet is a great choice of four, hard to really say who wins out, but I’m leaning towards Athena. Even with Final Battle up before WrestleDynasty, and Athena potentially dropping the title to Billie, Athena is still Athena and she’ll bring to tier talent and even some star power to that match. Can’t wait to see who else gets in on that match from the other companies, as AEW will surely get their own entry separate from ROH.

The Fatal 4 Way Tag was a great opener, and while House of Black had the live band, “win entrances” aren’t really a thing in AEW. Granted, Private Party had their own win entrance with their original theme song and the ladies following them out. But I’m also a little surprised we didn’t get The Acclaimed breaking up here. Caster was very much all about himself over the team, which is why they lost. MJF VS Roddy was great stuff, but MJF won as I figured. And it certainly feels this story will go as I figured: Kyle is upset with Cole about how this grudge has hurt Roddy, and Kyle will try to stop Cole by fighting him in a match.

Awesome TBS Championship match, and Mone telling Kamille to stay in the back, I almost thought there’d be some twist there. Instead, Kamille does as told, and Mone has a fair match with Kris, other than how she bent the rules to retain. I wonder if Mone is going to drop the NJPW Strong title in a couple weeks. Though, perhaps that depends on what NJPW has planned for WrestleKingdom and WrestleDynasty, such as having Mone add some star power to Tokyo Dome. But as for who’s next in AEW, maybe Kamille finally stands up for herself, or maybe Thunder Rosa tries after she’s handled Harley Cameron, again.

Awesome TNT Championship match, and Garcia definitely got to have “win entrance” here. Garcia choosing not to use the title and it not costing him was great stuff because that means he also got the moral victory on top of the real victory. Perry will surely find a way to spin this loss as him “sacrificing” and therefore that makes him the real winner. At least, in his eyes, it does. Great match from White and Hangman, great selling of knees from both guys. Great win for White but of course Hangman wasn’t going to let it go that easily. I feel like they should both get in on the Continental Classic so they can have another match through it.

Awesome stuff from The Don Callis Family’s many stories, but I am surprised they won both matches. Fletcher VS Ospreay was scary at the part where they go to the steps, I didn’t think Kyle was gonna make the jump. But of the two, I figured Kyle was winning this match to build himself up, especially with the C2 coming up. As for Konosuke VS Ricochet, I was a bit surprised Ricochet lost with how much he’s been after Konosuke and this title, and with how Konosuke won for The Don Callis Family on Dynamite. Maybe Ricochet shifts gears and he’s next for the Continental Championship, but it feels like a missed opportunity.

Great match from Lashley VS Swerve, and I really liked the stomps through the commentary desk. But I figured Lashley would win, this was his first AEW PPV match and he’s coming in strong to help get the Hurt Syndicate up. I’m also a little surprised no one suddenly revealed themselves as new Syndicate member to screw Swerve over, but I suppose this keeps both Lashley and Swerve strong, as there were no extra variables. Maybe we get a new member or two on Dynamite as the faction heads for more titles and stories.

And an awesome main event with Cassidy bringing the heat right away. I’m a little disappointed we didn’t get to see the world title, it stayed in the briefcase the whole time. But I did figure we’d get all the Death Riders showing up and The Conglomeration countering them, so that was fun stuff. And I just knew all along that Yuta would be the pivotal part of this. Not quite how I imagined it, as there was no internal conflict in Yuta, but hey, that’s part of the brainwashing, I guess. And honestly, I kinda wanted Christian Cage to cash in tonight, but bringing Hangman and White into this story with The Death Riders is good stuff.

And I really liked the framing of Darby driving his car into the Death Rider truck. I mean, it’s a little anticlimactic but also just really wild for a PPV. I suppose this would preclude Darby from being in the C2 as he just straight up wants Moxley and the world title. It does seem a little like “failing upward” since Darby just lost to Claudio, but AEW did kinda write themselves into a corner with their “wins and losses matter” kayfabe. It’s pro-wrestling, and you gotta really do big brain thinking to make it work like a sport. Moxley VS Darby will still be great anyway, can’t wait ot see it.
