Jon Moxley speaks.
The Maniac is backstage as he tells “Young Daniel, you didn’t get what you wanted tonight. You said you wanted everything that I have. Everything that I have. Darby Allin said he wanted to take away everything that I have and burn it. So I’m thinking, what is it these guys think that I have? What do they think that I have that they don’t have? That they need or want to get wherever they wanna go. These two guys, or anybody for that matter, what do they think that I have? Must be my immense, God-given talent. No, it can’t be that, I ain’t got any of that. Ah, my immense size and strength and agility. Nah, it can’t be that.
“Oh! It must be my daddy’s name! No, it can’t be that. My social skills! I’m a real people person, a smooth talker backstage. No, I’m just an a-hole. What do these guys, what do all these guys, think that i have that nobody else doesn’t also have? What else you gonna take away from me, Darby? What did I have to begin with? You cost us a couple championships, a couple belts. That’s alright, we can get ’em back. We’ll win ’em back, we’ll win more. Belts are the basic unit of measurement for small thinking. We think bigger. We are the outcasts that nobody ever wanted to begin with. We were never the frontrunners.
“But when everything is said and done, me and the people around me, the results will speak for themselves. Darby, it breaks my heart. It broke my heart what I had to do to you last year to put you in the hospital. It breaks my heart that you came back here looking for a fight. When I saw you climbing Mount Everest, I was surprised you were walking. But when I saw you climbing Mount Everest, I thought, ‘Okay, maybe a little solitude, a little peace, he’ll finally understand what I am trying to do.’ Nothing would make me happier than to have Darby Allin standing right here next to me, you are my guy! But you’re simple-minded, you can’t get it through your head.
“You think you can just run yourself up against a brick wall enough times, it’ll come crashing down. There’s too much at stake, Darby. We have a problem, and you just won’t go away. So I’m gonna do it myself. I need to make room for the kind of people I wanna be around. Not the kind of people who need validation, but the kind of people who wanna be masters of the craft. You are a problem, and I will solve you. At All Out, I’m gonna put you in the ground.” Moxley finally accepts Darby’s challenge, but will he make Darby regret ever issuing it?

Ace Austin speaks.
“When people talk about Ace Austin, they refer to me as The Inevitable. Because when it comes to proving myself, to winning championships, to tackling my goals, it’s not a matter of if, but when. Here in AEW, I’ve got everything to prove and everything to gain. I am one of the most creative, innovative and dynamic wrestlers on the scene today. It’s the main reason why I was recruited into one of the biggest, most influential groups in pro-wrestling history, Bullet Club. I’m not slowing down now. And if there’s one thing you need to know about me, it’s that I’ve always got an ace up my sleeve.” When and where will Ace Austin deal that hot hand?
Backstage interview with Bang Bang Gang.
Lexy Nair is with Juice Robinson & Austin Gunn, and brings up that the other two members of the team, Colten Gunn & Jay White, are still out of action. So the question going around is: What is the plan? Austin says that’s fair. They’ve been asking themselves that. Bang Bang Gang is picking up the pieces, they lost Jay White and they lost brother Colten. And Austin isn’t sure about Juice, but Austin can’t keep going out there and saying Gunns Up when the Gunns are down. Juice says yes, the cardboard is cute, but they gotta go. RIP Cardblade and Cut-Out Colten, it was fun while it lasted.
But in all seriousness, they were dealt a pretty bad hand. But they’ve gotta play the cards they’ve got, and they’ll figure out what’s next. Austin & Juice head out, but could there be quite the hint hidden inside those words?

Plus, on Dynamite next Wednesday, Alexander is set for a grudge match with Hangman- Callis interrupts here, the fans cuss him out, but Callis says he has something important to say.
“I am so proud of Kyle Fletcher. Kyle is everything I wanted Kenny Omega to be and more! And Kyle, in 30 seconds, did what no one’s been able to do: He put Kenny Omega out for good! And he pulled the punk card on the Hangman! And I got to sit and watch that match, Josh, and I saw that every time you put your hands on the other team, you had them right where you wanted them. How’d it feel, bro?” Callis hands the mic to the Walking Weapon, and Alexander says, “Oh, it feels good, Don! Hangman Adam Page! Let’s hear it for our AEW World Champion! Why not?” The fans boo the Callis Family and tell Alexander to STFU instead.
Alexander tells Hangman, “To everyone watching, it seems like you have it all. But I got something you don’t. I got the great and incomparable Don Callis! Now, we’ve got history, you and I, Hangman. In my debut earlier this year in this company, we went toe-to-toe. And on that night, you got the victory. But Hangman, I learn from my mistakes. I’m a different man now than I was then. And this Wednesday on Dynamite, in this Grudge Match, you’re not the only one with a grudge! I’m running through your b*tch ass for me, and for my family!” Alexander hands the mic to Callis, he hands it to Kyle, and then Don shines up the TNT title.
Kyle says, “This past Wednesday was merely step one in bringing the AEW Men’s World Championship back into the hands of the Don Callis Family. Step two now, as we know, is Josh Alexander, the Walking Weapon, taking on Hangman this coming Wednesday. But that begs the question: What happens next? Now we know that Mark Briscoe thinks he is next in line for a shot at my TNT Championship, but I am going to be TNT Champion for a very, very, very long time. And Briscoe, you still have to get past Takeshita tonight, which we all know is not going to happen. So whilst I wait for a viable contender, I have to think about, ‘What is best for the Protostar?'”
The fans chant, “Put Some Socks On!” Kyle says very funny. But Kyle says everyone is asking, “Who is going to step up? Who is going to fill the shoes of a Kenny Omega, a Will Ospreay, or a Swerve Strickland?” And the answer to that question is Kyle Fletcher! So if Alexander would be so kind, as to leave a scrap of Hangman, Kyle cannot think of a better way to become the greatest TNT Champion of all time than to simultaneously hold this title and the AEW World Championship! The fans boo that idea, but Callis loves it! Kyle says, “I love full circle moments, and I love poetry. So Hangman, this is my message to you: I want a shot at your world championship. And I want it at All Out!
“Reason being is All Out is the PPV where you had your first chance at the AEW World Championship. But the difference is going to be it will not take me three years to get that championship, it will not take six years to become ‘The Guy’ around here! I only have to wait two more weeks. And I know, Hangman, you are gonna accept my offer to you, because if you don’t, I have no problem putting you on the injured list like I did to Kenny Omega. And then when they vacate that championship, I will pry it from your cold, dead hands! So either way you look at it, Hangman, you and everybody else will eventually have no choice but to say… My! Full! Name!”
Mic drop from Kyle and he holds up the title. Callis is all fired up, but will the Family have everything they want here in AEW? Or will the Cowboy be the one roadblock in their way?
Backstage interview with The Conglomeration & Paragon.
Lexy Nair is with Hologram, Tomohiro Ishii, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong as we all finish watching the reminder that “CLØN” is coming soon. Kyle is the most stunned of all! But hey, they did it! We’re cloning luchadores! Roddy shouts, “KYLE~! Enough!” Then he asks Ishii, “What’re you looking at? You keep your mouth shut, Mr. Potato Head.” In fact, isn’t this Ishii’s fault? He shouldn’t have been in that match with Kyle, Roddy should’ve, because he’s Kyle’s tag partner. They would’ve beat Alexander & Fletcher and avenged Roddy’s best friend, Adam Cole! Kyle has Roddy pump the brakes, there is no “we” or “I” in The Conglomeration.
They’re all a unit, okay? And in case you can’t tell, the vibe is already off, despite the amazing advances in cloning technology. But Ishii’s gotta go back to Japan for a few weeks, okay? He’ll whoop ass no doubt, but that means The Conglomeration is without their enforcer. Roddy says he’d be fine if Ishii never came back. Gasp! Roddy! You don’t meant that! Roddy’s already left, Kyle apologizes, Roddy got up on the wrong side of the bed. Kyle can tell, Hologram and Ishii are big balls of emotion, they all need a chill pill, especially Roddy. They can take time to cool off and conglomerate again when they’re all on the same page.
And to answer Lexy’s question, all is well in Conglomeramaland! Is it, though? Or is Kyle putting on a brave face for everyone else?
Backstage interview with Anthony Bowens.
Collision returns as Lexy is now with the Pride of Professional Wrestling, and he already interrupts by saying he is here in all of his glory. And Philly, as you can see, he is not dressed to compete. That is because he was busy being “your Pride” in Los Angeles, for the opening of Warner Brothers’ newest film, The Conjuring: Last Rites. For that matter, Bowens will represent in North Carolina for the Celebrity Homerun Derby! And Bowens is feeling so good, because there is no Max Caster, there is no Billy Gunn, so- Jerry Lynn interrupts and apologizes. He has been a coach here since day one, and he knows he has given Bowens quite a bit of advice these past five years.
Now, Jerry would never take anything away from Bowens. Bowens is a great athlete, a great wrestler, a former AEW World Trios Champion, a former AEW World Tag Team Champion… But look at him now. He went from the top of the top to the bottom of it. And Jerry says it with all sincerity, it is time to take a good, long look in the mirror and figure out what is missing. Jerry leaves and Bowens’ good mood has soured. But Jerry has a point, what is it Bowens needs to fix to truly be that 5 Tool Player in AEW?
BREAKING NEWS for Dynamite!
Ahead of All Out: Toronto, we get quite a bit of appetizers! Ricochet takes on Shelton Benjamin 1v1 before the big Six Man Tag, will The One & Only be better than the Standard of Excellence? Then, with Riho returning to go after the AEW TBS Championship, Mercedes Mone has recruited some help! The CEO teams with The Queen of Joshi, Emi Sakura, to take on Riho and Alex Windsor! Will Emi help Mone rock Philadelphia? Or will Iron Will Windsor help Riho be tuned up for the title match?
High Stakes Showdown: Mark Briscoe VS Konosuke Takeshita w/ Don Callis!
As hinted at earlier tonight, The Sussex County Chicken has a chance to face Kyle Fletcher for the TNT Championship, but only if he makes it through The Alpha. That is to say, if he can make it through the man who won this year’s NJPW G1 Climax, perhaps the most grueling tournament in all of pro-wrestling, AND did it by defeating the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, Zack Sabre Jr! Can Mark Briscoe #ManUp and beat that Alpha? Or will Konosuke prove he is the man worthy of every golden opportunity he can take?

Briscoe is right on him with the fishhooks! Not quite a Dublin Grin, but the ref counts. Briscoe lets go then says, “Five! Six! Seven!” Briscoe then ROCKS Konosuke, and puts him in a corner. The fans cheer as Briscoe CHOPS and Konosuke fires another forearm! The shots keep going, Konosuke fires a flurry, but Briscoe Mongolian Chops! Then Mongolian Chops! The fans applaud, Briscoe ROCKS Konosuke in the corner! Collision returns to single picture as Briscoe fires more shots.
Briscoe brings Konosuke around, fires more forearms, then whips. Briscoe winds up, the fans fire up, but Konosuke BOOTS him! Konosuke goes up, but Briscoe UPPERCUTS! Konosuke falls to the apron, then the floor, and Briscoe goes out. The fans join in with “BANG BANG!” but Briscoe has to jump a sweep! But then an ALPHA ELBOW to the legs takes Briscoe down! And then a DRAPING DDT to the floor! The fans boo but Konosuke just drags Briscoe up. Konosuke puts Briscoe back in, sits him up, and clamps on a chinlock. Konosuke grinds Briscoe down, the fans rally, and Briscoe endures. Briscoe fights up, and he fires body shots!

Briscoe brings Konosuke up, reels him in, but Konosuke shoves free! BACKDROP, but Briscoe lands out! Briscoe comes back, but Konosuke gets around, BLUE THUNDER BOMB! Cover, TWO!
The fans fire up as Briscoe survives, but Konosuke snarls. The fans rally as both men stand, and Konosuke whips. Briscoe reverses, clinches, and- NO, Konosuke THROWS Briscoe out! The fans fire up as Briscoe runs, and BLOCKBUSTERS to the floor!
The fans fire up while both men are down, the ref checks Konosuke, and Konosuke is still in this. Briscoe rises up onto the railing and the fans cheer! Briscoe then hops down, puts Konosuke back in the ring, and the fans rally up. Briscoe gets moving, and he SLIDING LARIATS! Cover, TWO! Konosuke is still in this, but the fans are still with Briscoe. Briscoe fireman’s carries, Konosuke slips free, and Konosuke ducks ‘n ‘dodges! Briscoe also gets moving, and DOUBLE LARIATS take both men down hard! The fans declare, “This is Awesome!” as Collision returns to picture in picture.
The ref checks both men, they’re both able to continue, and they go to opposite corners. Briscoe and Konosuke rise up as the fans rally up. Cuz it won’t matter, cuz your ass is MINE!” MJF wants Briscoe’s answer NOW! He throws the mic into the ring, and Briscoe says, “Boy… You done messed up, pretty boy. I name the place? The place is All Out, live on PPV! And the stipulation? The stipulation, Max… I got a whole bunch of screwed up stuff going on in my head right now, so I’ll get right back to you, buddy. But rest assured, you have signed your own death warrant, son!”
The fans cheer as clearly, Briscoe is ready to go to new extremes! Will the Scumbag regret ever picking a fight with #DemBoys?
My Thoughts:
A great Collision, especially with all the new matches made for All Out. MJF delaying his honeymoon just to get this moment in is wild, but I had a feeling Briscoe was losing to Konosuke anyway. MJF VS Mark Briscoe in whatever kind of No Disqualification is going to be awesome, can’t wait to see what Briscoe settles on. As for Konosuke, that was also a nice touch to hint at a possible Face turn. Konosuke didn’t want help beating Briscoe, technically didn’t need it, and there’s a chance this leads to a similar story as to when Kenny went Face and Ospreay went Face under Callis. After all, things happen in threes.
With that, great promo from The Don Callis Family. Kyle wanting THE AEW World Championship is definitely a bold move, but also a logical one with everything going on. Maybe they give us Hangman VS Kyle, winner takes all or otherwise, maybe not, it really depends on Kenny Omega’s condition. Kenny was written off not just for drama but because he had a routine checkup, hopefully everything is good. But perhaps Kenny surprises everyone showing up next week to set up the TNT Championship match. If not, I could also see Kenny showing up to cost Kyle in the title match and then they spin Kenny VS Kyle off for WrestleDream in October.
The Outrunners and Castle as a combo is wild, but I kinda like it. They’ve got a few different feuds at their disposal, such as Castle still needing to settle things with Johnny TV, so I’d love to see Castlerunners VS MXMTV. Great promo from Big Bill to give another tease of Jericho’s return (Sammy Guevara being the other), and Bill calling out Eddie Kingston is a good sign that Eddie’s on his way back. Good promo from Ace Austin, good promo from Bang Bang Gang, but what a shame that they’re doing away with the cardboard cut-outs. Hopefully that’s a sign we’re also getting at least one more member back.
Very good promo from Bowens with Jerry Lynn, but I would think/hope they aren’t completely abandoning the Bowens Heel turn, it just got going. Bowens could have a story similar to how Hangman Page was angry with Christopher Daniels for trying to reach out, we could get some of that from Bowens with Billy Gunn and Jerry Lynn, then a fight with Max Caster helps bring Bowens around, and that is when Bowens returns to Face. Great promo from Conglomeration, Kyle’s face as he learns about CLØN was great. And with Ishii going back to NJPW in time for Destruction in Kobe, Kyle is gonna be stuck in the middle even more.
Great match from FTR VS Priest & Billington, really establishing Priest and Billington as bright stars of wrestling’s future. Obviously FTR was gonna win, and Stoke had a good promo calling out Cope & Christian. Great 8 Woman Tag, though clearly for a lot of fun and filler just to get us to the AEW Women’s World Championship Fatal 4 Way. It was a bit sudden to make Kris, Hayter and Thekla the contenders, but Toni Storm as a character wants a challenge, so here we are. But a Fatal 4 Way definitely protects all parties, so we could very well see a new champion crowned at All Out, or we could also see Toni survive by the skin of her teeth. At the same time, this new chapter in the Death Riders story could see them helping Kris and making her the champion, their champion, in their newest attempt to take over AEW.
After all, Moxley said himself that they can always win belts. Great match from Moxley VS Garcia again, and Moxley winning again was quite a surprise really, I thought this was Garcia’s night. But with the loss and “frustrated” promo, Garcia might be going Heel. He might even join Death Riders since A) Gabe Kidd has to return to NJPW, he’s still a champion over there and B) Death Riders could use someone new anyway. PAC is still out from injury it seems, can’t find any new info, and Garcia can make a new “wild card” member a la Pac and Gabe. It’d be a nice move for all involved, really shake things up going into AEW’s sixth year.
My Score: 8.9/10

MJF arrives backstage.
Renee Paquette is there to bring up tonight’s main event is Darby Allin VS Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW World Championship. If Darby Allin wins, MJF will then have to sign a contract for Title VS Hair at Double or Nothing. Darby has made it clear that if MJF doesn’t sign said contract, Darby will never allow MJF to face him for the title again. We all know how important the title is for MJF, but is MJF willing to put his hair on the line for it? MJF just chuckles and moves on, but he notices the very bald Rick Knox, Bryce Remsburg, and the head of security, David Aponte. And then various bald members of the production staff…
And then even Christopher Daniels & Sonjay Dutt are there! Daniels and Sonjay chuckle before moving on, and then MJF sees John Silver flexing. Brandon Culter, some arena staff, and even Tommaso Ciampa, all bald. Then last but certainly not least, Ricochet! He tells MJF that don’t worry, he’ll look great. Just not as good as Ricochet. AHA~! MJF storms off, will he have no choice but to choose between gold belt and chrome dome?
10 Man Tag: Orange Cassidy, Adam Copeland, Christian Cage & The Young Bucks VS Tommaso Ciampa, David Finlay, Clark Connors & FTR w/ Stokely Hathaway!
While we know the AEW World Tag Team Championship match will be a conglomeration of I Quit Match and New York Street Fight, THE Conglomeration will be waiting on the other side for their own tag title match. And let’s not forget that Matt & Nick Jackson want their own shot at those titles again. With that, can Freshly Squeezed work together with C&C and The Bucks? Or will the Psycho Killer, the Dogs, and the Top Guys all stand tall on the road to Double or Nothing?
The teams sort out and the teams just brawl it out! The fans cheer as The Bucks have The Dogs, Cope is after Ciampa, Christian is after Cash, and Dax brawls with Cassidy! Nick goes up, up, and “LUCHA LIBRE~!” FLYING ARM-DRAG RANA COMBO! The fans are thunderous and Nick tags Matt. Nick whips Finlay, Finlay reverses, but Nick goes up and over. Matt SUPERKICKS Finlay! Nick SHINING WIZARDS Connors, adds a GAMANGIRI, then The Bucks DOUBLE BULLDOG with the high-five! The fans fire up again as Matt winds up. Matt WRECKS FTR with a dropkick, then holds the way open, Nick FLIES onto FTR & Ciampa! But Connors back suplexes! Matt lands out, and NORTHERN LIGHTS! Roll through, NORTHERN LIGHTS! The Polar Express is getting going, and Finlay joins the ride! DOUBLE NORTHERN LIGHTS!
The fans are electric and it’s not just the volt green! Time for a SUPERKICK PARTAY~! Wait, Stokely grabs a foot each! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Stoke can’t even trip The Bucks up. The Bucks drag Stoke in! Stoke pleads for mercy, but FTR runs up! The Bucks dodge, mule kick, then SUPERKICK for Dax! SUPERKICK for Cash! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS on The Dogs! Then FTR is sent into The Dogs before DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! Ciampa runs up to waistlock but Nick switches. Ciampa BOOTS Matt away, ELBOWS Nick, but Matt dodges, PSYCHO KNEE into Cash! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for Ciampa!
The fans fire up again, and The Bucks see C&C. They point to Christian, and the fans cheer! Christian steps in, the ref reprimands but Cope argues with the ref. This distraction lets Christian LOW BLOW Cash! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for Cash! Christian covers, TWO! Cash survives, the fans boo, but Christian rains down fists while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Christian puts Cash in the corner to CHPO, CHOP, and then rain down fists! Christian goes past TEN, maybe to fifteen, then stops. Cash sputters, Stoke talks trash, but Christian grabs Stoke! Cash CLUBS Christian, Ciampa HOTSHOTS the bad arm, and Ciampa hurries to tag in. Ciampa drags Christian around, SLAMS the bad arm off the mat, then SLAMS the arm again! Ciampa POSTS Christian, and Christian falls to the apron. The ref keeps his eyes on the rest of the team so they stay back. Ciampa goes out, and he SWINGS the bad arm into the post! Christian scrambles away, clutching the arm, but Ciampa taunts Cope with a wave.
Ciampa tags Connors, Connors tags Finlay, and The Dogs stomp away on Christian. Finlay clamps onto the bad hand, bends the fingers, then JAMS them into the mat! The fans fire up as Christian just THROWS Cassidy out onto FTR! Christian then goes up, up, and SUPER CROSSBODIES The Dogs!
Cope calls out a shot, runs, but into a SHATTER MACHINE!! FTR snatches Cope outta nowhere, Connors makes the cover, but Cassidy breaks it! The fans fire up as now FTR has Cassidy surrounded. But Cassidy “unleashes” his kicks! The fans go nuts with every shot, but FTR shoves Cassidy! SHATTER- DOUBLE SUPERKICKS on Cash! Cassidy fights free of Dax, but Dax blocks Nick’s Superkick! Dax sends it into Matt! Nick SUPERKICKS through after all! Finlay clinches, IRISH CURSE BACKBREAKER on Nick! Matt feints the kick to DDT! But then Ciampa KNEES Matt down! Christian chicken wings Ciampa, turns him around, KILLSWITCH!
Connors JEEP FLIPS Christian! Connors then stalks Cope while the fans boo. Connors lines up a shot, Cope rises to his feet, Connors runs in! But Cope jumps over Connors’ spear, sending it into Dax! The fans fire up, Stoke freaks out, and The Bucks join Cope in the ring. They TRIPLE SUPERKICK Connors! Cassidy is in, ORANGE PUNCH! SPEAR from Cope!! Cover, C&C Conglomeration Bucks win!
Winners: Orange Cassidy, Adam Copeland, Christian Cage & The Young Bucks, by pinfall
Another star-studded 10 Man Tag, and it was a huge win for all the hungry contenders. Christian doesn’t wanna celebrate, but he does signal that he and Cope will be champions. Will putting their tag team legacy on the line be enough to take the gold? Or will Double or Nothing be the last night that team reeks of awesomeness?
Will Ospreay continues to train with The Death Riders.
They’re outside this time, Claudio Castagnoli playing some wall ball with Marina Shafir and Pac. Daniel Garcia says, “Tonight is the night that we’ve all been waiting for: The Aerial Assassin, Will Ospreay, is cleared and back on Dynamite. And rumor has it, the kid’s been working real hard and he’s got some new tricks up his sleeves. So Young Boy Billy, tonight you gotta show me something, c’mon.” Garcia gets a quick turn in on wall ball while cameras move over. Ospreay is maintaining a neck bridge while Jon Moxley uses Wheeler Yuta as a living dummy to show just how to push and pull and bend and twist on the various chinlocks and headlocks.
Use the right arm to push against the head, then snake in the left arm for the sleeper. Pry and shoot. Moxley asks how Ospreay feels. Ospreay lets off the bridge and says honestly, the best he’s felt in forever. Moxley asks if Ospreay remembers the night he won the Best of the Super Juniors. Yeah, 2019. AKA a lifetime ago. Ospreay was carefree, flew like a bird, for no other reason than that’s just what birds do. So simple back then, chasing that feeling, like no other feeling in the world. Can’t really grab it in your hands for more than a few seconds. The joy of doing it. Then everybody comes in and tries to make it so overcomplicated.
Years pass, life happens, a family starts, responsibilities show up, bad things happen, bad choices catch up to you, and it’s all weight on your shoulders. You feel like you can’t fly. But Moxley will tell you something: Nothing is different. Nothing has changed. All those things are still gonna be there, but you can still fly. You’re just more dangerous now. You’re a bird of prey. So tonight, when you got out there, don’t go out there to protect anything. Not your neck, your image, your reputation, or what you’ve built in your career. Go out there to give something. Moxley checks on Yuta and says dammit, if you’re gonna snap a headlock, snap the headlock!
Moxley storms off to instruct his pupil, but will Ospreay use everything he has been taught to great effect? Or will he have to fold against Ace Austin?
Chris Jericho speaks.
“You wanna face Jericho in a match of my own design, Ricochet? A spectacle so innovative, so imaginative, it cannot be contained, it can only be witnessed. Well, be careful what you demand, because you’ve made a few enemies yourself, Ricochet. And now a match designed specifically to settle scores without any, and I mean AAANY~, limitations has gotten even bigger.” Chris Jericho & The Hurt Syndicate were just looking for two more, but “Jungle” Jack Perry said he can bring four: himself, The Young Bucks, and KENNY OMEGA! Jericho tells Ricochet that this is no longer what he designed, but it is a devil’s dance of destruction! Ricochet’s destruction!
Ricochet got what he wanted, now can he handle it? Bald. The first-ever SEVEN VS SEVEN Stadium Stampede, who will even survive?
Ricochet & The Demand respond.
They stand with Mark Davis of the Don Callis Family and Ricochet says we all know Jericho does a lot of talking out of his ass while The Demand gets things done. Just like Davis did when he defeated Jack for the AEW National Championship at Fairway to Hell. Hold it with pride, Davis, Ricochet knows you’ll do it well. Davis says he’s got this. Ricochet says Davis has joined the dream team, but he’s not the only one. Because compliments to Ricochet’s golfing buddy, Don Callis, look who else he’s sending: Andrade El Idolo! Gracias, amigo. But it doesn’t stop there, the train keeps rolling. Ricochet was just approached by two guys who have an ax to grind with the superkick sidekicks.
These two wanna fill out the last two spots, so who is Ricochet to say no to The Dogs? Finlay & Connors storm in, and Finlay says to put it simple, they will fight The Bucks in the streets, in the ring, but guess it’s fighting at Double or Nothing! If they want violence, if they want carnage, if they want chaos, who better than The Dogs?! The Dogs bark and Liona roars, but will these seven stand tall in the Big Apple?
“Speedball” Mike Bailey w/ Kevin Knight VS BK Westbrook!
JetSpeed has a lot of momentum on their side, and as stated last week at Fairway to Hell, they’re looking to grab up all the gold they can. Will Speedball keep on rolling towards his own golden opportunity? Or will #Supastud prove his own worth?

Talk about a handicap! Callis AND Ricochet gave Davis quite a considerable one, and now Davis has his first singles title in AEW! The Jurassic Express National Tour has just been run off the road, but will Jack be able to get his revenge?
Collision returns, and Jack Perry is on the phone.
He tells someone, “Let’s do it. Thank you, guys.” Jack ends his call, then shows his frustration. Winning the National Championship in his hometown, in front of his friends and family, was one of the proudest moments of his entire life. And yet Ricochet and Callis had to end that for him. But he happens to know that Chris Jericho & The Hurt Syndicate are looking for two more partners for Stadium Stampede. And Jack go to thinking, the show is called Double or Nothing. So how about instead of two, Jack brings FOUR! The ELITE! Jack, The Bucks, and KENNY OMEGA! See you there. Ricochet may have just messed himself over, will he regret ever getting involved tonight?

Well, given the way Ricochet just used that golf club, the National Champion will gladly stand beside him!

Callis says yes, let’s go have a drink at the 19th Hole and talk about which of the many members of the Don Callis Family are going to join Ricochet in the slaughterhouse! Ricochet says oh yes, so many great choices to choose from! Callis & Ricochet head out, just how massive will this Stadium Stampede match get?
AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator: The Divine Dominion VS Ruthie Slay & Rachel Ley!
Megan Bayne & Lena Kross are so dominant, they don’t even think this match is going to last five minutes! But while there’s a time limit, will there be no limit to how devastating the Megasus & Aussie Amazon can be? Or will Slay & Ley manage to survive the day?

Two minutes and 15 seconds is all Slay & Ley got, will any team last even that long? Or will the Divine Dominion continue to dominate AEW until the end of time?
BREAKING NEWS for Double or Nothing!
The Triangle of Madness may have misted Persephone and injured Alex Windsor, but that only heaps on more trouble for the champion! Thekla must now defend her AEW Women’s World Championship in a FATAL 4 WAY! Thekla VS Jamie Hayter VS Kris Statlander VS Hikaru Shida, is The Toxic Spider about to get squashed? Or will she need her Sisters of Sin now more than ever?
BREAKING NEWS for Dynamite!
The annual tradition is back! The 2026 Owen Hart Memorial Tournament begins, with the brackets for both men’s and women’s divisions to be announced on Wednesday! Who makes the cut? And who will become the King & Queen of Harts?
Don Callis speaks, again.
“Just moments away from the AEW World title match between Darby Allin and Pac, and gentlemen, just wanted to let you know that the Don Callis Family, no matter who wins tonight, the Don Callis Family will be waiting for the winner. This Wednesday on Dynamite, the Don Callis Family will take the AEW World title from one of you. And y’know, it’s already been a great night, a big night, for the Don Callis Family! We won gold, but can’t wait to get some more. And on the subject of that, Okada has had to go to Japan to take care of some very important family business. But don’t worry, lads, because I have someone in mind to take his spot this Wednesday in the world title match.
“And it is none other than the firstborn of the Don Callis Family, Konosuke Takeshita, The Alpha!” Takeshita steps in, and Callis tells him, “You’re gonna be the world champion! If you listen to me like you always have, you will be successful, and you will finally fulfill the destiny that I had for you when I plucked you out of obscurity and made you the replacement for Kenny Omega. You’re the best wrestler in the world when you’ve got my game plan in your head. Go win the title.” Konosuke tells Don that he was going to take the International Championship, but now he is the person who will bring the world title back to the Don Callis Family! Unlike Okada.
Takeshita heads out, will he still make himself a double champion when he adds #PrettyPlatinum to the NJPW World Television Championship?
“Speedball” Mike Bailey w/ Kevin Knight VS Kiran Grey!
This match was on standby in case the Divine Dominion didn’t need all five minutes of their time, and now it’s a chance for Speedball to shine! But will he keep his momentum going from last Wednesday’s super show? Or will he get lost in the Grey Area?
Grey is already starting trouble as he pushes Bailey. The ref backs him off, then the bell rings. Grey runs up, but into a BOOT! Bailey then PENALTY KICKS, STANDING KNEE-SAULT, then Bailey waits on Grey. Grey ducks the buzzsaw and bails out! The fans boo but Bailey TRIANGLE JUMP MOONSAULTS! Down goes Grey and the fans fire up! Bailey daps it up with The Jet, then he climbs up the corner. But Grey goes after him! They brawl up top, Grey fires a flurry, but Bailey fires back! Bailey SHOVES Grey down, takes aim, but Grey hits the ropes! Bailey is tripped up onto his speedballs, but Grey dribbles him off the buckles!
Grey CLUBS Bailey into a Tree of Woe, then soaks up the heat before he stomps Bailey! Grey tells Bailey to stay down but Bailey grabs that leg! Bailey uses that to drag himself back up, and he ROCKS Grey again! Bailey dribbles Grey off buckles, then HEADBUTTS him! Grey falls, Bailey takes aim, ULTIMATE WEAPON! Cover, Bailey wins!
Winner: “Speedball” Mike Bailey, by pinfall
A fast win for Speedball, and Knight gets the mic. he says he likes that! Speedball is red hot right now. And though The Jet didn’t get two belts on Wednesday, he’s still the Face of TNT. Now, the future of AEW is wide open, so why not they make it to the top together? They shake hands on it, will JetSpeed shift gears to become a Two Man Power Trip? What belt(s) will they aim for next?
AEW World Championship No Count Outs Match: Darby Allin VS PAC!
Anticipating how wild this one can get given the nature of their grudge, AEW decided to remove some of the obstacles standing in their way. They can’t do anything they want, but they can definitely go anywhere they want here in the SoFi Center! But will Darby even up the career series between them? Or will it be 3-1 in favor of The Bastard?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who takes this belt to Dynamite!
The bell rings and the fans rally behind Darby. Darby hops outside already, and he goes around the crowd to be on the golfing green! This is No Count Outs, so he wants to take full advantage of it already! He dares Pac to join him, so Pac heads over to the green! They fire hands on the rough and the fans fire up! Darby ducks, fires hands then HEADBUTTS Pac down! Darby brings Pac up but Pac BACKDROPS Darby! Pac then brings Darby closer to the bunker! Pac suplexes, Darby fights free, and he fires hands! Darby runs up, CODE RED into the sand trap! The fans go nuts seeing what is surely the first one of those ever!
Pac gets himself out of the sand and ends up on the fairway. Darby pursues, runs up, and ROCKS Pac1 they’re near another sand trap, and Darby SHOTGUNS Pac into the sand! The fans cheer “A E DUB! A E DUB!” for making this madness a reality! Darby goes after Pac, but Pac throws sand in Darby’s eyes! Pac then hauls Darby up to BELLY2BELLY SUPLEX Darby into the sand trap! Darby sputters, but Pac clamps on the BRUTALIZER! The ref reprimands, this isn’t Falls Count Anywhere! But fans know “This is Awesome!” as Pac makes Darby suffer! Darby sputters again as Pac lets him go, then shakes out the sand in his boots.
Pac drags Darby up with a headlock, but then decides to fireman’s carry! And gorilla press to THROW Darby back into the bunker! The fans boo but Pac soaks up that heat. Darby sputters and coughs while Collision goes picture in picture.
Darby sputters as he sits up, but Pac brings him back around. Pac brings Darby around, dumps him down, and soaks up more heat. Pac then brings Darby along the fairway, CLUBS him on the neck, and stalks him as they return to the crowd. They then return to ringside, then the ring itself, and Pac covers, TWO! Darby toughs it out, but Pac stalks him to the corner. Pac uncovers a crossbar before he stands Darby up. Fairway to Hell returns to single picture as Pac tiles the tag rope to Darby’s chain necklace! Darby can’t get free before Pac BOOTS him! The ref reprimands, but Darby SPITS at Pac! Pac takes that defiance and BOOTS Darby again!
Pac then has Darby’s legs, and YANKS him from the corner! The tag rope breaks and Darby flounders around. Pac whips to then BACKDROP Darby 450 degrees! Pac then builds up speed, but Darby avoids the lariat! The fans fire up as Darby slingshots back in and dragon sleepers for the SCORPION DEATH DROP! Cover, TWO! Pac and Darby are both down while the fans rally up again. Darby crawls to a corner, climbs up top, and he watches Pac rise. Pac turns around, but he manages to trip Darby up first! Pac then climbs up after Darby, hauls him up, and SUPER DUPER FALCON ARROWS! Cover, TWO!! Darby survives and the fans fire up again!
Pac frowns while Darby flounders out of the ring. The fans rally for Darby while Pac takes his time going to the outside. Pac looks under the ring, and he brings out a table! The fans cheer but the ref reprimands, this isn’t No Disqualifications! Pac still sets the table up nearby, making sure it lines up with the corner. Pac puts Darby on the table, then climbs up said corner. The fans freak out, anticipating what Pac is planning, and he steadies himself as he takes aim. Pac SUPER SHOOTING STARS but only gets table!! Darby avoids disaster, and Pac is somehow still in this after his crash landing! Darby puts Pac in, trips him, and steps through!
The fans fire up as Darby steps over, SCORPION DEATHLOCK!! Pac endures, reaches out, but Darby sits deep! Pac fights, claws, reaches out, and powers his way forward! ROPEBREAK! Darby lets Pac go, and Pac waves to the back. Well, of course The Death Riders are here! Darby spots Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia & Marina Shafir storming down the aisle, but then Pac CLOBBERS him! A distraction tactic is good enough as Pac now turns the proverbial tables. Then he signals for them to get something, and they bring out another table! The fans chant, “On The Green!” but Pac doesn’t care about that. He scoops Darby to go up the steel steps!
The fans boo as Pac tucks Darby in, TOMBSTONE on the steel steps! The fans go nuts as Darby flops to the floor! Wait, wait, wait, now The Death Riders have STACKED tables?! Pac smirks as he brings Darby back up, and he fireman’s carries Darby to bring him over. Darby goes to the backstage area while Collision goes picture in picture.
Pac carries Darby all the way around to the backstage area, because this is the only place to get upstairs! Pac SMACKS Darby off a wall on the way to the stairs, and the ref reprimands while Pac scares off curious fans. Pac drags Darby up the stairs with a headlock, and they go to the upper deck! Pac brings Darby past the nice bar and lounge area, the ref and Death Riders making sure fans don’t get too close. Pac SMACKS Darby off another wall, then drags Darby through this VIP seating area to go to the balcony. Pac stomps Darby to keep him down, then drags him to the balcony railing! And lo and behold, those stacked tables are right there!
The ref reprimands and the fans are freaking out already, but Pac is looking to toss Darby! Darby clings to the railing but Pac CLUBS him. Pac then drags Darby up, but Darby fires body shots! Fairway to Hell returns to single picture as Darby fights desperately! Darby CLAWS Pac’s back, but Marina shouts at Darby! The ref keeps her back, but that lets Pac LOW BLOW Darby! The Problem continues to be just that, but also the insurance policy for the Death Riders! Pac stands Darby up, and THROWS him off!! Darby crashes down through the tables!!! The fans lose their minds all over again while Pac hurries to go back downstairs!
AEW medical staff is already checking Darby as he’s down in the wreckage, but Pac says screw that! He fireman’s carries Darby and puts him back in the ring! Pac covers, TWO!!! Darby survives and the fans are thunderous! Pac and The Death Riders are in shock! Pac falls back to a corner as he shakes his head. Pac argues with the ref, but 2.99 still isn’t 3! The fans rally for Darby, but Pac storms over to him. Pac looms over Darby, Yuta slides a chair into the ring, but the ref snatches it away! Only for Marina to slide the title belt in! Pac takes aim while Darby rises, but then Darby springs to life! Pac has seen a ghost, or maybe a zombie!
Pac winds up, but Darby LOW BLOWS! And BELT SHOTS!! Darby gets Pac in place, goes up top, COFFIN DROP!! Cover, DARBY WINS!
Winner: Darby Allin, by pinfall (still AEW World Champion)
Pac said it himself, Darby is the indestructible boy! But can Darby keep this up? Or will The Alpha come through on his promise and bring this title back to the Don Callis Family this Wednesday?
My Thoughts:
A great hour of AEW here as this special edition of Collision, though “Fairway to Hell” is such a random thing to begin with. They must’ve made a business deal with SoFi and TGL, which to me might be more AEW helping TGL get noticed on a national scale. And changing the status quo with the National Championship was quite the surprise, but that’s still great for Davis. Ricochet being the reason why, and then that compelling The Elite jumping into Stadium Stampede is a bit convoluted. I get they’re using continuity of how Kenny hates Callis and vice-versa, but it undercuts what I was hoping for in Hurt Syndicate getting to introduce new members. But hey, 7v7 is pretty wild, too.
I appreciate Divine Dominion adding something to their squash matches with that five minute goal. Slay & Ley already set a good time with over two minutes, and I’m sure two minutes will be the average as they just dominate all summer. And it seems Alex Windsor is gonna be out a little longer than expected, given that adjustment for Double or Nothing. A Fatal 4 Way is still good for how Thekla can use her challengers against each other, or be protected in a loss if they choose. It also helps bring in the Shidalander story, but it also feels like we’re skipping chapters. That Fatal 4 Way can probably get us to the team breaking up and Shida turning on Statlander for their own feud.
Bailey VS Grey probably was a legit standby match, that went quick. And Knight had a decent promo saying he and Bailey are still gonna be JetSpeed going for all the gold. Not sure if that comes true or just sets things up for the team to fall apart. And then a really wild main event with the “No Count Out” match. They probably could’ve just called that No Holds Barred but they wanted to add heat on how The Death Riders were cheating the second half of that match. Both table spots were risky, but obviously Darby did the crazier one. AEW really needs to be careful not to push it much further than that, though.
Then the news of Okada being out for Dynamite, hopefully it’s nothing too tragic with his family. But Takeshita as the substitute is a good choice, this helps build the Okada VS Takeshita match at the same time as building Darby up. Pretty sure MJF accepts the terms of Title VS Hair, and it’d be very MJF if he were to announce that while attacking Darby to close the show on Wednesday.
My Score: 8.8/10
