#Brodido made it through the wild Fatal 4 Way Ladder match to still be AEW World Tag Team Championships, and while Bandido wanted to go and celebrate, Brody King had him stay serious for a moment. Brody said, “Young Bucks, JetSpeed, Don Callis Family, FTR, Cope & Cage, it doesn’t matter who steps in that ring. Tonight, we proved we are willing to put everything on the line to keep these titles.” Bandido agreed, and apologizes if his English is harder to understand, but he will say thank you to everyone who believes in Brodido! This is a new era, the Brodido Era! They’re ready for everybody! BANG BANG!

ROH World Championship Proving Ground Match: Bandido VS Dralistico w/ LFI!

The Most Wanted is indeed a target, as he’s overcome Hechicero and Konosuke Takeshita while denying Lee Johnson and Blake Christian their own shots. But now La Faccion Ingobernable is taking steps towards taking over ROH! Rush y Sammy Guevara have the tag titles, will Dralistico have a golden ticket to the top? Or will Bandido make it out of the Proving Grounds on top?

The fans cheer on Bandido, but The Code of Honor is not upheld as Dralistico just flips Bandido off. The bell rings, the two circle and tie up, and Dralistico slips around to waistlock. Dralistico trips Bandido, just to walk all over him. Dralistico goes outside just to soak up heat, but Rush has him focus. Bandido rushes up but Dralistico hits him first! Dralistico sends Bandido into barriers! And then whips him hard into more barriers! The fans boo but Rush coaches Dralistico. Dralistico SMACKS Bandido off the steel steps! Dralistico then goes up to the apron, he argues with the ref, then Dralistico KICKS Bandido down!

The fans boo but Dralistico flips them off. Dralistico CHOPS Bandido, Bandido gets in the ring, but Dralistico soaks up more heat. Dralistico leaps from barrier to apron, and then he storms in after Bandido. Dralistico whips, then LARIATS Bandido down! Dralistico clamps onto Bandido’s mask! The fans boo and the ref reprimands, but Dralistico lets Bandido go. Dralistico argues with the ref, then he drags Bandido up. Bandido fires body shots! The fans cheer as Bandido runs, but he runs into a SUPERKICK! Dralistico taunts the fans before he brings Bandido to a corner. Dralistico hushes everyone, and then runs side to side, to SUPERKICK Bandido! Dralistico lounges on the top rope but the fans boo again. Dralistico drags Bandido up, brings him around, and the fans rally again. Dralistico fires forearms, then tells Bandido off. Dralistico runs, but Bandido gorilla presses! But Dralistico slips free and he fires off fast hands! Dralistico then winds up, but Bandido blocks to SMACK Dralistico again and again! The fans fire up as Bandido winds up, but Dralistico kicks low! Dralistico runs in at the corner, but Bandido throws him back! Bandido RANAS and the fans fire up!

Dralistico stands, runs up, but Bandido dodges! Bandido then gorilla presses for Dralistico, and SLAMS him down! Cover, TWO! The fans fire up with Bandido but Rush is frustrated. The fans boo as they send Bandido into steel steps! REVEAL! It’s Blake Christian! The Vanilla Baby is still salty and he wants his shot! But Bandido TACKLES Blake! So LEE JOHNSON rushes out here! The Swirl mugs Bandido! The fans chant for Brody King but he’s not here tonight! Lee sets Bandido up for Blake’s LETHAL INJECTION! Blake kisses the world title, but here comes HOLOGRAM! The fans cheer, and he says he’s not alone!

Because here’s KOMANDER! The Titans of the Sky are back on ROH! They run The Swirl off, but the damage was done. Will Blake have what he wants? Or will he only get what he deserves?

Mixed Six Match: The Premier Athletes VS JD Ink, El Magnifico & Rebecca Scott!

With Mark Sterling is away, Tony Nese takes over shutting Bobby Cruise down, telling him to shut up. “Everybody knows who Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari are. But who you’re starting to learn about is the 6’5” D1 athlete from Ohio State, our contingency plan, Stori Denali! And if it were up to me, I would send her over the guard rails, and she’d have her way with each and every one of you! Because it is this city’s disgusting appetite for violence is the reason why OUR manager is in a hospital bed getting surgery right now!” The fans boo but Daivari takes over, “Listen up, you idiots! You have gotten this wrong for three weeks!

“So in honor of Mark Sterling, when I say, ‘Athletes,’ you say, ‘Rules.’ NOTHING ELSE! Hands in!” Stori joins in with the boys, and we get “ATHLETES!” “SUCK!!” Philly got ’em again! But will Nese, Daivari & Denali make everyone respect them?

The trios sort out and Nese starts. Nese demands the handshake, JD Ink obliges and the Code of Honor is upheld. The bell rings, Nese and Ink circle, and the two tie up. Nese waistlocks, SLAMS Ink, and he flexes. The fans boo but Ink admits, those are good biceps. He and Nese tie up again, Nese headlocks for the takeover, and he talks trash on Philly. Ink fights up, powers up and out, but Nese RUNS him over! The fans boo but things keep moving. Ink drops down, hurdles over, but Nese leaps over. SOBAT! KNEE LIFT! KICK! LEG SWEEP! Nese tells the fans to say it right! “ATHLETES!” “SUCK!” Nese drops a leg!

Nese drags Ink up, bumps him off buckles, and he tags in Daivari. They mug Ink, the ref reprimands, but Daivari brings Ink around to CHOP him down! Then Daivari hits a back suplex! But Ink lands out and hot tags The Magnificent Luchador! Magnifico dodges Daivari to wrench and YANK, YANK, YANK! Daivari KNEES low, the fans boo, but Daivari bumps Magnifico off buckles. Daivari RAMS, LARIATS, and repeat! The ref counts, Daivari stops, and Daivari scoops Magnifico to SLAM him down! The fans boo more but Daivari drags Magnifico up. Daivari whips, Magnifico KICKS him away, and Stori tags in!

The fans fire up as Stori towers over Magnifico! Rebecca steps in, she slips around, and she jumps onto Stori! Stori RAMS Rebecca into a corner, then scowls. Stori runs in, but Rebecca dodges to fire hands! The fans rally, Rebecca runs, but into a STOMP!? Stori soaks up cheers and jeers, then she storms up on Rebecca in the corner, LEG LARIAT, and she didn’t even have to try! Nese & Daivari BLAST Ink & Magnifico, then Nese PLANCHAS onto Ink! Daivari THROWS Magnifico into barriers! Stori clamps onto Rebecca, and she CHOKE SLAMS Rebecca down! Cover, Premier Athletes win!

That’s right, the party’s still going! Preston Vance, Griff Garrison, Cole Karter & Jacked Jameson all beat up the poor bear mascot, and Jameson says they love effin’s tuff up! But then Karter snoozes, and Preston tells The Blue Meanie that he knows just what to do. Meanie has the paint, and he sneaks up on Karter to give him the Meanie goggles! The boys add “FART” to Karter’s forehead, then a fake mustache and the hashmark ten on his chest. Meanie and the boys have a good laugh, and then the bear gets to throw FLOUR on Karter! Vance says if you wanna be in The Frat House, you gotta take risks. So Meanie pulls the SHAVE ATTACK on Jameson!

Jameson says you also gotta be willing to pay the consequences! They put dog food on Meanie’s “tootsies” and let the French Bulldog lick it up! Griff says you also take ish from NO ONE! Meanie shows off the dance moves, the ladies aren’t so sure, but Vance says that’s hot. The bros then chill in the Jacuzzi, but Meanie may have just let one rip… Well, that aside, will The Frat House have even more fun fighting up the ranks in ROH?

Interim ROH Women’s World Television Championship: Mina Shirakawa VS Lacey Lane!

It was back in May at Supercard of Honor that the Fighting Gravure Idol overcame Yuka Sakazaki, Momo Watanabe AND Persephone in a Fatal 4 Way to crown her the Interim Champion. Red Velvet is still on the mend, will Mina still be in charge when she returns? Or will the Pinay Spitfire go from debuting to reigning?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and one way or another, it’s time to party!

Mina’s jacket has a wristlock on Mina, but the ref and even Lacey helps her get free. The Code of Honor is upheld, the bell rings, and the fans cheer as the two circle. They tie up, Mina headlocks, but Lacey powers up and out. Mina rolls, sidesteps, then blows past Lacey. Mina blocks the hip toss but Lacey turns that around to arm-drag! Mina dodges to slide and shimmy! The fans cheer, but Lacey runs, only for Mina to duck the kick! Roll up, TWO! Lacey trips Mina, rolls her and ties up the legs to say yeehaw! Then she facelocks, floats, headlocks, ghost pins, TWO! Both women scramble up and Mina drop toeholds Lacey back down!

Mina hooks up Lacey’s legs, then does another dance! The fans cheer, then Mina STOMPS Lacey’s legs! The fans rally, Mina drags Lacey around and steps through, but Lacey BOOTS her away! Lacey runs up, but Mina BOOTS her! Mina goes up, but Lacey kicks the leg out! Mina is in the ropes, Lacey CHOPS her! Lacey taunts Mina with a twerk, then runs corner to corner. Lacey DROPKICKS Mina down! The fans fire up, Lacey covers, TWO! Mina is tougher than that but Lacey drags Mina up. Mina shoves Lacey, Lacey mule kicks back! Mina ducks a buzzsaw but not the HEEL KICK! Cover, TWO! Mina survives and Lacey grows frustrated.

The fans rally up as Lacey stands Mina up, hammerlocks, and then clinches. Lacey CLUBS Mina, and CLUBS, and CLUBS! Lacey then swings Mina, but Mina rolls Lacey up, TWO! Lacey SUPERKICKS! The Sons of Texas were set to have it all, but perhaps falling short of the Six Man titles is why the Spanish God abandoned Marshall & Ross for El Toro Blanco. Now LFI is truly ungovernable, and Sammy’s back to being “The Best Ever.” But will Sammy y Rush run right through the Von Erichs? Or will they pay for what they did at Death Before Dishonor?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see who rides off into the sunset with the gold!

The teams sort out, and then LFI just sucker punches The Von Erichs! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but the bell rings to get this on record! Rush drags Ross out while Sammy keeps after Marshall. Rush THROWS Ross into barriers, but Marshall ROCKS Sammy! Marshall BOOTS Sammy, ROCKS him, but Rush fires BODY SHOTS on Ross! Rush THROWS Ross into barriers again! The ring count is climbing as Sammy tries to climb over the railing. Sammy reaches out to fans, they hold his hand, only to stretch him out for Marshall to CLUB down! The fans cheer, and Ross fires hands! Rush ROCKS Ross, then CHOPS him!

Sammy gets in the ring, Rush puts Ross in there for him, and Sammy CLOBBERS Ross! But Marshall CLOBBERS Sammy! Rush runs up, wrenches and whips, and Marshall ends up in a corner. Rush sends Sammy in for a SPLASH, then Rush adds a LARIAT! Rush snapmares Marshall, counts it out with Sammy, “One, Two, Three!” DOUBLE BASEMENT DROPKICK! Marshall writhes and the fans boo, but Sammy and Rush throw up the horns as part of the LFI fist. Sammy has the ref handle his necklace, then he soaks up heat from Philly. Sammy talks trash on the Eagles, then he drags Marshall up to give some Latino Heat.

Sammy snap suplexes, then stands up, that was Uno Amigo! But then Marshall suplexes high and hard! The fans fire up while Marshall and Sammy crawl, hot tag to Ross! Ross runs up, dodges Sammy, and he BOOTS Rush! Then he BOOTS Sammy down out of the air! Sammy flounders away, almost taking a low blow. Ross CLUBS and whips Sammy, but Sammy reverses. Ross SLINGBLADES! The fans rally as Ross suplexes, and he hits a FALCON ARROW! Cover, TWO! Sammy survives, Ross fires up, and the fans rally again. Ross goes up a corner, but Rush gets on the apron! Ross BOOTS Rush first!

Ross is up top, leaps, but Sammy DROPKICKS in return! Sammy grins but the fans boo. Sammy drags Ross around and he soaks up the heat again. Sammy looms over Ross, then STOMPS him down! Rush shields Sammy’s ears from the “SAMMY SUCKS!” chants. Sammy then tags Rush, and Rush runs corner to corner, to fake the Bull’s Horns. Then he BOOTS Ross! The fans boo but Rush rolls back to tranquilo. Sammy joins in with a spin and pose! The fans boo more but Sammy goes back to the corner. Rush drags Ross up, TOSSES him out, then Rush argues with the ref, just so Dralistico can stomp away on Ross!

The fans boo but Dralistico gets away with that. Marshall shouts for Ross to get up, but Rush goes out to loom over Ross. Rush talks trash on Ross, and Sammy BLASTS Marshall! Sammy takes the cowboy hat to wear it, and the fans boo even more. Rush brings Ross up to put in the ring, then brings him around to the corner. Rush hushes everyone, and he CHOPS! Ross sputters, Rush shakes out his hand, and Sammy mocks the pain. Fans chant, “One More Time!” Rush nods and he stands Ross up, then puts some stank on saying shove it! Rush whips Ross, runs in, but Ross dodges! Ross then LARIATS Rush!

The fans fire up while both men are down! They crawl, hot tag to Marshall! Marshall LARIATS Rush, LARIATS Sammy, and repeat! Marshall waits on someone to get up, Sammy stands in the corner, and Marshall BOOTS him in the corner! Marshall then ROCKS Rush to the other corner! The fans chant, “Take Your Hat Back!” and Marshall runs up on Sammy again! LARIAT! Marshall indeed takes his hat back and the fans cheer! The only time Philly cheers for a cowboy! Marshall then fires off forearms, and runs corner to corner to LARIAT Rush! Marshall runs up on Sammy again, for a LARIAT!

Marshall sees Rush stagger up, and he BOOTS Rush down! The fans fire up with Marshall and he waits on Rush. Rush rises, and Marshall clamps on the IRON CLAW! The fans cheer, Ross joins in, and the Von Erichs lift Rush for the CLAW SUPLEX COMBO!! Cover, but Sammy YANKS the ref out! The fans boo, the ref and Sammy argue, but Dralistico slithers in! Marshall turns around into a CYCLONE KICK!! Dralistico calls to Rush, he rises up, and he stomps Marshall into the corner! Rush then goes corner to corner, “If you mess with the bull…!” You get BULL’S HORNS!! Rush then drags Marshall to the drop zone, and tags in Sammy!

Carlie Bravo says Deonna is talking real reckless for someone about to get knocked out by Trish Adora. Oh, is she supposed to be intimidated? They’re supposed to be veterans? Former military? All talking to her like this? Well, Carlie, she’s actually married to “one of you,” and he always told her: Keep your front towards enemies. But then Trish KNOCKS Deonna down! Adora says the next title that comes to STP is the ROH Women’s Pure Championship, and she’ll put it right around here. Carlie says Deonna got knocked the hell out! STP leaves, but will Deonna make sure to humble #THEM soon enough?

Minion 400,237 & 3/4ths knows a thing or two about winning a tournament to become an inaugural champion, but no one she faced in the ROH Women’s World TV Championship tournament was built quite like The Goddess of Powerlifting! Will Billie take one step closer to making and repeating history? Or will Olympia win this one for all of CMLL?

The Code of Honor is upheld, the fans applaud, and the bell rings. The two circle as Philly cheers Billie. Billie and Olympia tie up, but Olympia waistlocks. Billie fights the lift, has a headlock, but Olympia wrenches free. Billie slips through to wrench and wristlock back. Billie vows to break the arm, but Olympia wrenches it back! Billie slips through to wrench and wristlock. Olympia rolls, trips Billie, but Billie body scissors. Olympia pushes on the feet, rolls through, but Billie headlocks. Olympia powers free to facelock, but Billie wrenches free, only for Olympia to arm-drag! Olympia kips up and the fans cheer the standoff.

Billie and Olympia reset, and Billie mocks Olympia’s flexing. They feel out a knuckle lock, but Billie keeps changing the hand. Olympia kicks the legs! Olympia headlocks, then wrenches, and she grinds Billie’s arm. Billie endures, but Olympia wraps Billie up in a straitjacket, then wrenches to a top wristlock! Olympia wrangles Billie, floats to a facelock, and the fans rally up. Billie wrenches, Olympia wrenches, and then Olympia rolls with Billie! Billie has the ROPEBREAK and shouts, “Get off me!” Olympia lets go, the fans applaud, and that is Billie’s first of three. Billie and Olympia reset and circle again.

Billie dodges Olympia, pats her on the head, but Olympia kicks low! Olympia lifts Billie to LIGER BOMB! Cover, TWO! Billie survives, but then Olympia HAMMERS away! Billie scrambles away to the ropes, Olympia backs off, and the ref says that counts as Billie’s second! And we’re only three minutes in! Billie is frustrated, but she and Olympia reset. Olympia dodges Billie now to fire off forearms! Billie fires back! Olympia shoves, Billie dodges, and she pokes Olympia in the eyes! The ref reprimands but Billie TOSSES Olympia! Billie taunts the fans as they boo, and she builds speed to DIVE but Olympia moves!

The fans fire up as Billie crashes ‘n’ burns! Olympia wags her finger, that’s what Billie gets for bending the rules. Olympia than wheelbarrows Billie to SMACK her off the apron! Billie sputters, the fans fire up with Olympia, and she pushes Billie into the ring. Olympia springboards and DIVING BODY PRESS! Cover, TWO! Billie survives and Olympia wants a faster count, but the fans rally up. Olympia stalks Billie to the apron, stomps her, but Billie slips in and wraps the legs up! The ref counts, Billie lets go, and that is Olympia’s first. Olympia tumbles out, but Billie builds speed! DIVE! Down goes Olympia, right in front of commentary!

Billie then lifts Olympia and POSTS her! The fans rally up and Billie SWINGS Olympia’s leg against the post! The ref reprimands, Billie taunts him, and she SLAMS Olympia’s leg against the apron! Billie storms back into the ring, taunts Olympia, and stomps her. Billie taunts the fans, then drops an ELBOW on the knee! Billie taunts Olympia as she digs the elbow in. Olympia clubs Billie, but Billie drops her leg on the leg! Billie mocks Olympia and the fans but they boo.

Billie scuffs Olympia, bumps her off buckles, and then fires forearms! The ref reprimands, Billie tells him to back off, and she RAMS into Olympia! Billie digs her shoulder in, the fans duel again, and Billie runs in for a FOREARM! Billie snapmares and PENALTY KICKS Olympia! Billie drags Olympia to a cover, TWO! Olympia toughs it out but Billie brings her up. Billie reels Olympia in, but Olympia fights the suplex! Billie CLUBS away on Olympia, shouts at the fans to shut up, and then suplexes, only for Olympia to cradle counter! TWO! Billie BOOTS Olympia, whips her, but Olympia goes up and over! SHOTGUN!

Fans fire up as Billie hits buckles and falls in the corner! Olympia sits her up, runs in, and swings for the BRONCO BUSTER! Cover, TWO! Billie toughs it out, Olympia is annoyed with the count, but then Billie goes to the ropes. Olympia runs in, goes through the ropes, then she skins the cat to BRONCO BUSTER again! Billie runs up, but into a gorilla press! And SLAM! Cover, TWO! The fans rally as Olympia has a leg, steps through, and ties Billie up in a DOUBLE TOEHOLD!

Billie endures, keeps her shoulders up, but Olympia puts on the pressure! Olympia has an ANKLE LOCK inside that hold as we approach ten minutes, but Billie DECKS Olympia! That’s her closed fist warning and the fans boo, but Billie is clearly desperate. Billie cravats for a KNEE SMASH, then HEEL KICK! Billie reels Olympia in, suplexes, GHOSTBUSTER!! Cover, TWO!! Billie is furious, she tells the ref to get outta the way! Billie goes up, but Olympia SMACKS her first! And then another gorilla press, drop into the SWINGING- NO, Billie hits a CRUCIFIX DRIVER! Cover, BILLIE WINS!

Winner: Billie Starkz, by pinfall (advances to the next round)

Olympia had the power, but Billie had the grit to turn things around! But will she meet the Magical Girl, Yuka Sakazaki, or the Professor of Pro-Wrestling, Serena Deeb, in the semifinals?

My Thoughts:

A great episode of ROH here, and they really piled it on for what ended up being the episode after All Out and the last night in the 2300 Arena. Great Proving Ground from Bandido VS Dralistico, and great win for Bandido, but of course The Swirl shows up to go after Bandido again. Blake is definitely getting his title match, and he will likely lose. The Mixed Six Tag was good, and Stori got a great showing for herself, though obviously the Premier Athletes were winning. I skipped Deonna’s match because duh, she was winning, but I do like that for being the technical expert, she won with a piledriver that was very similar to Toni Storm’s Storm Zero.

Really good promo with Deonna and STP after, as well, with Adora getting that cheap shot on Deonna. Deonna VS Adora will be great, but I feel like this moment here foreshadows Deonna winning. Great match from Billie VS Olympia, and great for them to be the main event. Olympia has some great moves, but I figured Billie would win. Very creative for her to use the loophole of the one closed fist punch, too. Great Women’s ROH TV Championship, Lacey Lane (NXT’s Kayden Carter) had a great showing, but I figured Mina would win. She should definitely have more matches on ROH, get a lot more women opportunities.

Hilarious vignette from Frat House, and I appreciate Blue Meanie was included. Doesn’t really do much for them story wise, but this might ingratiate Frat House to the fans. And great tag title match, though Philly’s crowd definitely needed a moment to get behind the Von Erichs given they’re from Texas. I figured LFI would retain, but Dralistico helping them cheat was a good way to keep the Von Erichs strong in defeat. Maybe we run it back again, because no idea who would step up next.
