Lights Out Match: Myles Borne VS Lexis King!
Speaking of storming the castle, Myles doesn’t even let The Drama King enter the ring before he attacks! The lights are out except for a spotlight, will Myles go to a dark place to settle things with Lexis?
The fans fire up, but Lexis JAMS Myles up using his walking cane, then he BREAKS it on Myles’ back! Lexis takes aim again, but Myles BODY BLOWS in return! Myles puts Lexis in the ring, and he brings out a chair! Then he throws a trash can at Lexis! Lexis writhes, Myles storms in, the bell finally rings, and Myles TACKLES Lexis! Myles rains down fists, Lexis gets away, but Myles has the chair! Myles JAMS Lexis up high, then DROPKICKS him down! Myles stomps Lexis into a corner and the fans fire up again. Myles then OVERHEAD SUPLEXES Lexis onto the chair! The fans cheer while Lexis writhes, and Myles covers, TWO!
Lexis crawls to a corner but Myles takes aim again. But Lexis kicks Myles low! Lexis runs, CROWNING! Myles hits the chair, Lexis covers, TWO! The fans rally for Myles but Lexis rains down fists! Lexis tells the fans to shut up, then he whips Myles to ropes. Lexis hits a kitchen sink knee! Then he SMACKS Myles with a chair! Lexis JAMS Myles up, digs the chair in, and then sets the chair down. Lexis soaks up heat, drags Myles up, and he suplexes Myles onto the chair! Turnabout is fair play, and Lexis covers, TWO! Myles is still in this, but Lexis wraps him up in a straitjacket! Myles endures, fights around, and the fans rally.
Myles rises to his feet, fires body shots, but Lexis CLUBS him down! Lexis scoops Myles to SLAM him on the chair! Lexis soaks up the heat and he talks trash on Myles. Lexis sets the trash can aside, bumps Myles off buckles, and grinds his boots in! Lexis kicks and stomps from flagpole position, and then he SMACKS Myles with the trash can! And again, and again, and again! Lexis DIGS the can into Myles’ face, then he runs corner to corner. But Myles gets up to SNAP POWERSLAM Lexis onto the can! Both men are down and the fans fire up while NXT goes picture in picture.
Both men crawl to the ropes, Lexis bails out, and Myles pursues. Myles fires forearms and an UPPERCUT! Myles CLUBS Lexis, SMACKS him off the apron, and then he hits an APRON BACK SUPLEX! Lexis flounders away but Myles pursues again. But Lexis TOSSES Myles up and out! Then he runs to WRECK Myles with a dropkick! Myles hits the desk! Lexis clears the desk off before he drags Myles up. Lexis SMACKS Myles off the desk, climbs up onto the desk, and he brings Myles up to join him. Lexis reels Myles in, CORONATION on the desk! The desk doesn’t break, but maybe Myles just did!
Lexis shoves Myles off the table, drags him back to the ring, and puts him back inside. Cover, TWO! Myles survives and Lexis is frustrated. Lexis takes off his belt to LASH Myles! And LASH him again and again and again! Lexis POSTS Myles, then lets him slump to the floor. The ref checks Myles but he’s able to continue. Lexis brings out a TABLE! NXT returns to single picture and the fans are torn, because they love tables but aren’t thrilled about Lexis. Lexis gets the table into the ring, sets it up n a drop zone, but Myles LASHES Lexis with his own belt! But now they tug-o-war for the belt! Myles BOOTS Lexis out of the ring!
Myles DIVES, but into a BELT SLAP!! The fans boo as Myles hits the floor, but then chant for “NXT! NXT!” as this is just our opener tonight! Lexis wedges a chair into the corner, KICKS Myles in the side, then drags him up. Lexis whips Myles, but Myles fights back! Myles SMACKS Lexis off the apron, trips him, and CATAPULTS him into the chair! The fans are thunderous for Myles as he rises up! Myles drags Lexis back up, whips him, but Lexis reverses to send Myles into the steel steps! The fans boo, but then they agree, “This is Awesome!” Lexis SMACKS Myles with the chair! And then he pulls the steel steps apart!
Lexis puts the chair around Myles’ neck! The fans boo and the ref says don’t do this, but Lexis has Myles on the steps! CHAIR STOMP but Myles slips free! Lexis hobbles from jamming up his own foot, and Myles TACKLES Lexis through the barriers!! The fans lose their minds while both men are down! Myles drags Lexis from the wreckage, puts him in the ring, but Lexis gets up to LARIAT Myles up and out! Lexis has the steel steps in the ring now, and he lines it up with the table. Lexis fetches Myles, but Myles TRIPS him! And LASHES away with that belt! Myles rips Lexis’ shirt away so he can LASH right on bare skin!
The fans fire up as the lashing continues in the ring! Lexis dodges, and SUPERKICKS! Myles sputters, Lexis brings him over to the steps! But Myles fights the suplex! The fans fire up as Myles turns things around! DDT on the steps! Lexis sputters and “This is Awesome!” They chant for “M K O! M K O!” BORNE AGAIN through the table!! Cover, Myles wins!!

Lexis tried to steal Myles’ shine, but now Myles has the spotlight all to himself! Will this lead Myles to that next level? Will Myles soon become a champion?
Robert Stone and Stevie Turner are in Ava’s office.
They’re on the phone with Ava, and she says she’s still in England taking care of business. She trusts these two can handle the show tonight. Stevie takes pride in Ava visiting her home country. Stone points out that he’s American, they’re always in HIS home country. But that aside, Stone promises she can trust them. But uh, real quick… Some TNA stars showed up… Did Ava invite them? Ava asks him to repeat that, and he does indeed repeat, TNA stars are here, who invited them? Ava says her side is still cutting out, but she trusts they can handle whatever it is. Ava hangs up, and Prime Minster of Evolve Stevie Turner is ready!
Stone says they’re both in charge tonight, okay? And either way, they’ll figure this out.
Ethan Page is backstage.
And All Ego is all smiles as he passes by Myles Borne on his way back from gorilla. The North American Champion is going to share some thoughts, what will the State of the North American Championship be? And, um, is that Steph De Lander and Mance Warner? The TNA stars are already in the building, what WILL Stone & Stevie do?
Ethan Page heads to the ring.
NXT returns as the (self-proclaimed) Greatest North American Wrestler makes his way out, even as the fans call him an A-Hole. Dr. Wagner III is in the audience again, as clearly the AAA Latin American Champion wants to keep a close eye on him. Ethan grabs a mic to tell the “foul mouthed fans” to behave. He should be here to celebrate his victory over the “so-called Canadian, Tyler Breeze,” but apparently there is a very, very special guest here tonight! “Triple UH Latin American Champion, Doctor Wagner Jr.” The fans cheer but Ethan says to “Wagner,” welcome to NXT! He will remind us all that he’d be here the Greatest North American AND two-belt champion if Wagner didn’t screw him over!
So now, Mr. Wanger, “muchacho,” you could sit here and lock eyes with the gorgeous North American, but Ethan dares Wagner to show up at No Mercy! Then he can see Ethan absolutely embarrass Tavion Heights! Oh, now he’s standing up? How about they just have a match right now then! The fans cheer for that! Wagner storms into the ring, he dodges Ethan’s cheap shot, and he LARIATS again and again! Then ANKLE LOCK! There IS a ref, so this IS a match!?

Wagner trips Ethan and has the ANKLE LOCK!! Ethan flails, but he can’t get anywhere in just a suit! ETHAN TAPS, Wagner wins!! Wagner holds up the North American Championship, but SURPRISE! That was Tavion all along! He just tricked Ethan and got a win over Ethan! Will there be nothing to stop Tavion from taking this title to new heights this Saturday? Or will The Egomaniac show Tavion no mercy?
Jordynne Grace watches Blake Monroe’s message to her.
The Juggernaut is in the locker room as she finishes the video. “The mask had to slip at some point.” But Arianna Grace says that’s not the same Blake she knew. And if she were Jordynne, she’d be scared. But hey, this Falsies lash booster from Maybelline is so good! Jordynne asks what Arianna just said. That she loves the Falsies- No, before that. Well, Arianna meant she’d be scared, not Jordynne so much. Yeah, well, Jordynne remembers Arianna being friendly with Blake. Oh, uh, no, see, that’s not at all what Arianna was doing. She was just letting Blake know that though they have the same last name of “Grace,” they weren’t related.
Right, okay. How about this? Let’s show Blake and the whole world just how different Jordynne and Arianna really are? They’ll meet in the ring. Arianna says Jordynne’s so funny, she doesn’t need to go do that. But Jordynne’s already heading out. Arianna is now extra scared. Will the Pageant Queen learn how to lose with grace when she’s staring down one angry “Muscle Muffin?”
WWE Women’s Speed Championship #1 Contender’s Match: Candice LeRae VS Lainey Reid!
The Poison Pixie wants to make it back to the Women’s Speed title, the Southern Charm wants her first taste of gold, and it’s the final countdown~! Three minutes is all these two have, who will be the one that faces Sol Ruca on Saturday?
NXT returns and NASCAR Xfinity Series driver, Cole Custer, is here to give the introductions! And then we spot #ZaRuca up in the perch as they give their assessments via whiteboards. Zaria writes, “I don’t like either.” The bell rings and we’re on the clock! The two run up, Candice drop toeholds, then STEP-UP SENTONS! LION- NO, the rope is a bit slippery. Candice catches herself, goes for the LIONSAULT after all, but Lainey dodges! The delay saved her and now she’s got Candice hooked up for ANARCHY! Cover, TWO! Candice survives but Lainey pushes her to another cover, TWO! Wait, Léi Yǐng Lee (formerly Xia Li) & Xia Brookside backstage!
Lainey hurries to drag Candice to a third cover, TWO!! Candice survives and goes to ropes, but Lainey runs up. Candice ELBOWS her away, then BOOTS her! Candice goes out, up, but so does Lainey! They meet on the apron, and Lainey blocks a kick! Candice blocks one back, but the second SUPERKICK connects! Lainey sees we hit the orange phase as we have two minutes left. She suplexes, but Candice fights free! Candice slips around, but Lainey fights off the German Suplex! Lainey fires elbows, but Candice hits an APRON FLATLINER! Lainey is down, Candice goes up, SPRINGBOARD CROSSBODY! Down goes Lainey!
The fans fire up, Candice puts Lainey in, and she tilt-o-whirls to LA MYSTICA! CROSSFACE!! Lainey flails, and Sol shows off the sign, “Candice, I’ve beat you once, I’ll beat you again!” The fans cheer as Lainey endures, rolls, TWO!! We’re in the red phase with one minute left, and Candice trips to a jackknife! TWO as Lainey bridges! Lainey spins Candice to backslide, TWO!! Candice escapes, dodges a knee, rolls Lainey to a stack, TWO!! SOUTHERN HOSPITALI-KNEE!! Cover, LAINEY WINS!

Zaria and Sol are each surprised, and maybe just a touch impressed. The underdog came out on top, but will she do it again on Saturday? Or will Sol put pedal to the metal at No Mercy?
Jaida Parker speaks.
“I hope everybody enjoyed Homecoming. You know who didn’t? Me. And you wanna know what? I got two words for ya: Lash Legend. See, Lash, you got me thinking, man, you really do. Because you got a one up on me a few weeks ago, and I’ma let you have that. So go ahead and enjoy your little W. Frame it, put it on a wall, why don’t you? Hell, tell everybody, ‘I beat Jaida Parker~!’ But make sure you tell them what happened after you got your hand raised! Tell them how real pressure felt after I put you through the barricade, baby. You be walking around here like you all that, but nah, I see right through you!
“Because you know at the end of the day, Jaida Parker hits harder, talks louder, and looks better while doing it. So please keep your little moment warm, because the next time we step in that ring, there ain’t gonna be no barricades left to break. There’s only gonna be you flat on your back, and Jaida Parker standing over you because I gave you the reality check you desperately need. This ain’t over, baby. Not by a long shot. Clock it.” Miss Parker don’t play, but will their rematch be truly Hip-notic?
Lyra Valkyria talks with Tatum Paxley backstage.
The Morrigan is happy to see her again, and feels a little bad they didn’t get to catch up last week at Homecoming. There was a lot going on, but Lyra wants to talk with Tatum. It just feels like any time she makes a friend or lets anyone in, they just start to… Completely lose their mind? Yes, that’s exactly it! That’s what Lyra can’t get around. Is it her? Tatum says no, “sweet dove,” nothing is ever Lyra’s fault. Well, yes, that is what Lyra misses about Tatum. She’s quirky, but she’s consistent. A weirdness Lyra can count on! Um, is that Steve Maclin and Victoria Crawford in the back? But then Hank ‘n’ Tank also walk by, sniffing out the TNA intruders!
Tatum asks if Lyra is saying she needs her. Well, Lyra isn’t sure it’s that serious, but Tatum is just so happy either way. Izzi walks over and says hey, Tatum, you dropped the doll. And also, Lyra left you once before, and you’re smarter now, Tatum, so don’t fall for it again. Let’s go. Izzi leads Tatum away but Tatum says she’ll see Lyra later. Lyra says that was rude of Izzi. But who is really a friend to the oddly innocent Tatum?
Kale Dixon & Uriah Connors check on Mr. Chase.
His face is badly bruised from their mishap… Don’t touch it. Uriah apologizes, it got really crazy in there. No, it’s okay. They were all going fast, it was frantic and out of control. So he brough tin some guys who know a thing or two about going fast but keeping it under control. Oh, snap! Who? Cole Custer & Sam Mayer! The three shake hands with the NASCAR drivers, and Sam says he is a fan of all of this. Plus, he loves the deal about that guy, when you say his name, he appears. That’s so great. But he does have to ask, is that real? DarkState storms in and says damn right it’s real. And if they know what’s good for ’em, they WON’T mention him!
That is, unless you all wanna find out that that DarkState hits harder than any car wreck! Sam wants everyone to calm down, he’s just a huge fan. But even he doesn’t know the guy’s name. Kale says no reason to be nervous, Sam. We all know his name! It’s Joe Hendry! And then surprise, Cole Custer was Joe Hendry all along! He takes off the helmet and we clap along. Oh, so this is funny, is it? Joe says hold on now, they seem to keep running into each other. So how about they- NO, they are not doing this again! Mr. Chase’s boys think they’re funny, so let’s see how funny they really are. And Hendry will start thinking before he appears around them again.
Cutler James says Six Man Tag! And they’re gonna see that car crash, DarkState style! DarkState heads out, and Chase can’t believe how his guys got dragged into another mess… But will Hendry help Kale & Uriah believe? Or will everyone learn that #NoOneIsSafe?

They may both be named “Grace,” but there will be little grace and mercy here as JG looks to unleash Beast Mode on the Pageant Queen! Will Arianna suffer the wrath that is meant for The Woman From Hell?
NXT returns and Arianna makes her entrance. And she immediately LARIATS Jordynne in the corner! The ref reprimands but Arianna stomps a mudhole into Jordynne! The ref backs her off, the bell rings, and Arianna runs in. Jordynne dodges to fire off forearms on Arianna! The fans fire up, Jordynne whips but Arianna reverses. Jordynne reverses back to kick low and DOUBLE CHOP Arianna on the back! Then fireman’s carry and ROLLING DEATH VALLEY! Arianna tumbles to a corner, Jordynne runs in and UPPERCUTS! Scoop and POWERSLAM! Then VADER FLOP as Arianna moves! Arianna THROWS Jordynne by her hair!
Arianna BODY CHECKS Jordynne, then SPLASHES! Cover, TWO! Arianna rains down fists and stomps, then basement dropkicks! Jordynne goes to ropes, Arianna is after her, and she bends Jordynne against ropes! The ref counts, Arianna stops, but Jordynne kicks from below. Arianna blocks, YANKS Jordynne and ELBOW DROPS, but misses! Jordynne is up to ELBOW Arianna! Arianna returns, but Jordynne slips around! Jordynne RAMS Arianna into the buckles again and again, then backslides. Arianna rolls through, but into a LARIAT! And another LARIAT! Arianna dodges the third, tries one of her own, but gets a SPINEBUSTER!
Jordynne isn’t done, she torture racks Arianna for the DIRECT EFFECT! Cover, Jordynne wins!

Arianna flounders away in defeat and Jordynne is back on top! Stacks hurries out here to comfort his lady, but HERE COMES BLAKE! She has a pink trash can full of goodies, so Jordynne gets a chair! They clash, chair and pink kendo stick! Jordynne JAMS Blake up, SMACKS her down, and the fans fire up! But t hen Blake SMACKS low! And SMACKS Jordynne on the back! Blake kisses the kendo stick, but Jordynne TACKLES her! They brawl, refs and security rush out here, but fans want to “LET THEM FIGHT! LET THEM FIGHT!” Stevie Turner hurries out here, Stone right behind her, and Stevie shouts, “Girls, ENOUGH!”
Stevie says she and Stone are in charge. If these two want each other that bad, then this Saturday, they can grab anything they can get their hands on! At No Mercy, it will be a WEAPONS MATCH! Stone says they can do even bigger! No more running, no more sneak attacks! It also ends INSIDE A STEEL CAGE!! The fans fire up, the two get after each other again, but they’re again separated! Who will truly show the other no mercy in the Weaponized Steel Cage?
Backstage interview with Lainey Reid.
Kelly Kincaid is with the Southern Charm to note she is headed to No Mercy to fight Sol Ruca for the WWE Women’s Speed Championship. Lainey says let’s tell the truth now. She finally got the opportunity she was asking for, and look what happened. She beat AAA’s best in Faby Apache; she just knocked off an NXT icon in Candice; and now she faces Sol. Sure, Sol might be the most athletic woman in NXT, or even all of WWE, but after she has some of Lainey’s Southern Hospitality, Lainey will be the NEW Speed Champion. Fatal Influence passes by, and Jacy Jayne has to hand it to Lainey, very impressive win out there. Good luck at No Mercy.
Lainey says right back at you, champ. Jacy thanks Lainey, then says hold on… She can handle Lola Vice by herself. Fallon Henley says Jacy cannot be serious, and Jazmyn Nyx sighs as Jacy heads out on her own. Will the Toxic Rockstar regret this decision? Or can she make it out of Vice City in one piece?
Jacy Jayne heads to the ring.
NXT returns as the NXT Women’s Champion struts her way out, soaking up cheers and jeers all by herself. She grabs a mic and says, “Let’s all pretend last week never happened. Like, Rhea didn’t pin me, that Lola didn’t backfist me and cost me the match. Because truth be told, none of that really matters. Because at the end of the day, whether you people like it or not, for over 100 days, I have been standing in your face as the NXT Women’s Champion!” The fans are torn, but Jacy says she singlehandedly got rid of every single label the fans have put on her! “The third wheel,” “Most Beatable Champion,” “Transitional Champion.” Yeah, all cute, but all wrong!
So that’s why it is incredibly pathetic, comical and laughable, that the fans wanna live in this fantasy land that the one to dethrone her is Lola Vice. The fans cheer, but Jacy says let’s be real. Lola Vice? A crossover act pretending to be a wrestler in JACY’S division! But hey, Lola’s flashy, with one million followers on Instagram. Awesome, congrats. But y’know what? Jacy will give Lola her flowers, Lola has improved immensely. But she’s nowhere near ready to hold the title. The fans boo but Jacy says she’ll be the first to admit, Lola has quite the hometown hero story. The hometown crowd, the AAA momentum, camera ready tears just in case she finally pulls it off.
“But Lola, sweetheart, wake up. That’s the Jacy Jayne Story! I shocked the world! Been there, done that. Lola, you are not the underdog in this story, I am. I was the one who was humiliated, thrown to the side, told that I was never gonna make it. But while you were out there shaking your ass, I was out there busting my ass to get to the top. No family, no MMA background, no hometown advantage is going to save you from what’s coming your way at No Mercy. And absolutely no one is going to ruin that for me!” But here comes Lola herself! The fans cheer as Lola tells Jacy, “I wouldn’t expect anything less. Another person talking about my ass!”
The fans cheer, and Lola says at least she has one to shake! The fans fire up, and Lola says, “100 days as champ. Wow, that’s impressive. But you’re barely surviving! You’ve always needed somebody, I don’t. And for all those years you spent being a toxic third wheel, and finding an easy way to be champion, I’ve been knocking women out in order to earn my opportunity.” The fans cheer that! Lola says what’s crazy is, just before she was in this ring a year ago to face Roxanne Perez, Lola was nervous. Lola was emotional. The Lola from back then would’ve cried in front of her family at this opportunity. The fans saw it.
But that’s not who Lola is anymore. This time, it is different. Lola stands before us one year later a completely different person. More than a fighter, but a pro-wrestler! A WWE Superstar! And for as much as she wants to win this title for her family, for her culture, and for herself, this is also for all these fans here who have always believed in her! Jacy says okay, no one cares about that. But the fans chant “LOLA! LOLA!” And Lola promises at No Mercy, thank goodness it is called that, because that’s exactly what Lola’s gonna show Jacy when she knocks her out to become the NEW NXT Women’s Champion!
The fans cheer, Jacy says they’re all fickle! Jacy is fully aware that Lola will beat her ass. But Jacy sees Lola. She knows Lola. Jacy knows that since Lola’s first day here, she’s wanted validation. Lola wants to make Mama y Papa so proud~! Lola wants her sister to be proud to look up to her, but Jacy promises that somehow, someway, Jacy will be walking out with the title. And Jacy’s reality very well may be a broken nose or broken jaw, but Lola’s reality will be looking both of her parents in the eyes and telling them that all the sacrifices they made for her were for NOTHING. Jacy will STILL be NXT Women’s Champion, and Lola will know she’s her family’s biggest disappointment.
The fans boo but Jacy holds up the title. And then URAKEN!! Lola just knocked Jacy out! Will Lola do it again when the title is on the line?
Josh Briggs speaks.
“I can do things in this ring that most men can only dream of. I’m a big man that can fly. I can move fast, I can hit real damn hard, and I can beat the hell outta somebody. But I keep being told the same thing: That I don’t connect with the fans, that I’m not relatable. No matter how hard I tried to please the WWE Universe, no matter how hard I tried and busted my ass, it didn’t matter, you never cared and you never will. And finally, I stopped giving a damn about what a bunch online tough guys and fat podcasters had to say about me. You’re a damn fan! You’re a seat filler and that’s all you will ever be. Nobody can deny my talent.
“You don’t want me to win and it eats you alive knowing that I have the skill. You’re all hypocrites. When I come out, you tell me, ‘Briggs, Go Away.’ But what’re you saying when my match ends? ‘This is Awesome.’ Maybe you’re the ones who don’t get it. Just like Je’Von Evans. He lives and dies by your approval. He wants to be loved, and he’ll put his body through hell to entertain you. That approval that he’s chasing, it makes him weak. This Saturday at No Mercy, I’m gonna show Je’Von Evans and everyone watching that everything else is just noise. I don’t give a damn if I connect with you (fans) when my boot connects with his face!
“So chant whatever the hell you want. Because the only chant that I care about is, ‘1-2-3.'” The Bullhead Brawler is ready to bully the Young OG into oblivion, but will Je’Von find a way to bring him down a notch?

Dion, Saquon, Orisis & Cutler have all had enough of The Inspirational One showing up out of nowhere, and they look to tear him down and even take Chase U with him! Will the NXT Tag Team Champions just keep on winning? Or will this be a #TeachableMoment on believing?
But then DarkState attacks during introductions! The fans boo as they mug Uriah! The ref backs Saquon off, the bel rings, and Uriah dodges to CHOP! And CHOP! Saquon dodges to wrench Uriah. Uriah blocks the whip but Saquon still tags Osiris. Osiris CLOBBERS Uriah, drags him up, and whips him into a corner to SPLASH! Tag to Dion and Uriah is fed to the scoop and SLAM! Cover, ONE, but Dion drags Uriah up. Dion shoves, Uriah ducks ‘n’ dodges, and Kale sneaks a tag! They redirect Dion, Kale runs to SPLASH! Cover, TWO! Kale clamps onto an arm but Dion endures the grind. Dion fires up, but Kale hits a crucifix takedown, TWO!
Dion gets up but Kale clamps onto an arm again. Dion fires hands and he ROCKS Kale! Dion whips Kale, Kale goes up and over, then he rolls and returns, LARIAT! Cover, TWO! The fans rally as Kale drags Dion up, and Hendry tags in! The fans cheer and Hendry and Kale whip Dion so then DOUBLE ELBOW him down! Hendry bumps Dion off buckles, CHOPS him in the corner, then winds up to CHOP again! Dion sputters, but Hendry winds up, only for Dion to BODY BLOW! Dion tells the fans to all shut up, then he runs up, but Hendry dodges to CHOP again! Hendry brings Dion around, suplexes, but Saquon makes the save!
Kale runs in, he LARIATS Saquon up and out! Hendry and Dion trade shots, Hendry TOSSES Dion! Uriah gets in, he and Kale DOUBLE DROPKICK Osiris! Hendry LARIATS Osiris up and out! Kale builds speed and FOSBURY FLOPS! Down go Dion & Saquon! The fans fire up and then Chase U stands with Hendry, to POSE! The fans cheer but DarkState seethes while NXT goes to break.
NXT returns and Saquon keeps Kale from his corner with a SLEEPER! Kale flails, reaches out, and he powers Saquon back. Osiris tags in before Kale throws Saquon away. Saquon UP KICKS, Osiris scoops, and Dion tags in, LAWN DART off a knee! Then Dion runs to LEAPING LARIAT! Cover, TWO! And now we see Mike Santana is arriving backstage! If the #1 Contender to the TNA World Championship is here, you know something’s about to go down! Dion bumps Kale off buckles, throws hands, but Kale fights back! Dion kicks low, bumps Kale off buckles, and he tags Saquon. Saquon then tags Osiris before he sends Dion in.
Dion RAMS Kale, Saquon DROPKICKS, and they feed Kale to the scoop and SPINNING POWERSLAM! Cover, Hendry & Uriah break it! But then Dion & Saquon TOSS them out! Osiris drags Kale up while Dion TOSSES Kale over barriers! Osiris bumps Kale off buckles, then runs him corner to corner to bump him off more buckles! Osiris stomps, UPPERCUTS, and RAMS into Kale again and again! Tag to Saquon, he tags Dion, and now they send Osiris in first. But Kale dodges Osiris, and he TOSSES Saquon! Kale hurdles Dion, hot tag to Hendry! The fans fire up as Hendry rallies on DarkState, LARIAT after LARIAT!
Hendry CHOPS Osiris, whips, but Osiris reverses. Hendry ducks ‘n’ dodges, then RANAS! The fans fire up and Hendry dodges Dion, then scoops, FALL AWAY SLAM! And kip up! The fans fire up with Hendry, and then he TURNS! The fans cheer again, and now we get the stomp stomp clap! Hendry grabs Dion, but Saquon distracts the ref! And Osiris CLOBBERS Hendry! The fans boo but Dion and Hendry are both down! Dion drags Hendry around, but Hendry suplexes first! The fans fire up while both men are down again! Chase shouts to someone to get up to the corner! Uriah drags himself up and over and back to the apron! Hot tags to Uriah and Dion!
Uriah BLASTS through Dion to then BLAST Osiris! And he dodges Dion to GAMANGIRI! Then he shoves Dion, goes up, and he aims for leap! Dion dodges, Osiris is in, but Uriah SUPERKICKS! Saquon TOSSES Uriah, but Uriah lands safe on the apron! Saquon blocks a kick, but not the DRAGON WHIP PELE! Step-in TORNADO DDT! Uriah roars, the fans fire up, but Cutler storms up on Mr. Chase! Uriah dodges Osiris so he can DIVE onto Cutty! The fans fire up as Uriah hurries back in, dodges again, and he sends Uriah into Dion! Then SUPERKICK for Osiris! STUNNER for Dion!! But Cutler distracts the ref! That lets Saquon KNEE DROP Uriah!!
Uriah writhes, Dion tags Osiris, and Osiris tags Saquon. The fans boo but DarkState hauls Uriah up, DARKSTATE BOMB!! Cover, DarkState wins!

Chase can’t believe it, but even he should understand the power of the numbers game! Will no one ever stop DarkState when they always have the advantage?
Ricky Saints visits home: New Orleans.
And the Absolute says, “Ricky Saints embodies everything that is New Orleans. Cuz without New Orleans, who am I?” And while New Orleans is known for Bourbon Street, jazz and good times, Ricky stands in a simple grass square, the cicadas chirping for summertime. “I don’t know if I was ever supposed to make it. We’re in New Orleans, Louisiana, standing in the exact spot where my childhood home used to be. It’s no longer here now. The storm took it away.” Saints thinks on how things look so different as an adult. Perspective changes. He’s proud enough, man enough, to come back so people can say, “That’s our boy. That’s the guy that made it through.”
From sheer will and stubbornness, of course Ricky was gonna make it. Because he had no other choice. Sure, you may see the style and glamour of The Absolute, but he thinks he represents everyone from the street vendors to the artists to the people hungry and passionate and stubborn, just like him. Saints believes in himself so much, because that’s all he had at the end of the day. Saints was just supposed to be another kid who slipped through the cracks. But he knows where he doesn’t want to go back to, and every single day, he makes sure to progress just a little bit more, and just a little bit more, so he never goes backwards.
That is why he believes so much in himself, because it is about survival. Since he was little, he did not ever let a circumstance define him. That is why he loves coming home to New Orleans. It is a great reminder that it isn’t just about him, but about his family and the people. He represents those who have made it beyond what everyone else thought they were going to be. Saints knows in person he talks to, every single hug he gets, it is a reflection of Ricky Saints. And he couldn’t be any prouder than that. Saturday isn’t just about winning the title, but about making all the non-believers into believers, and proving to himself that all the gambling on himself paid off.
Saints will prove to himself that he is exactly who he says he is. It doesn’t matter if it is Oba or Trick, it only matters that Saints gets it done. He will leave Fort Lauderdale a champion and usher in a new era! An Absolute Era! And that’s because he’s got to. Ricky is absolutely ready, but just who will he be facing? That will be determined in tonight’s main event!
Backstage interview with Je’Von Evans.
Kelly Kincaid is with The Young OG, and she notes there are a lot of TNA stars here to watch the highly anticipated Title VS Title match. Je’Von says yeah, TNA and everyone here has their eyes on that. Kelly brings up that for Je’Von, he has Josh Briggs this Saturday. She’d love his comments on what Briggs said. Well, last time, Briggs won for sure. But this time, ya boi gonna win. Briggs is still talking like he knows The Young OG, but- A crash gets everyone’s attention. Je’Von isn’t sure what that was, but he says for Briggs, Je’Von is gonna jump around him, punch him right in the mouth, and he’ll get that W, cuz everyone knows dat boi BOUNCY~!
But oh no, that crash turned out to be JAZMYN NYX being knocked out cold! The mess suggests she got hit by a cooler! Jacy storms in and asks what the heck, wasn’t Fallon with her? Fallon says she was, but then left for like a minute. Wait, you don’t think Lola…? Jacy says it doesn’t matter. It was time they dropped Jazmyn anyway. Only the strong survive in NXT. They leave, and that’s it? Jazmyn is no longer under the Influence? Why aren’t they more worried about who did this and how?!
NXT & TNA World Championships Winner Takes All: Oba Femi VS Trick Williams!
And this is the moment of truth! The Ruler of NXT, the #TrickNA Champion, they clash once more, but with all the gold on the line! Will Oba #WhoopDatTrick once and for all? Or will everyone have to accept that Trick IS the best across both NXT and TNA?
Speaking of TNA, all those stars we’ve been seeing pop up backstage are now all in the crowd… Trick tells them to watch how their champion does it. But win or lose, will Trick make it out of here in one piece? We find out, after the break.
NXT returns and Oba makes his entrance. The introductions are made, both belts are raised, and we see who brings them both home tonight!
The bell rings and TRICK- NO, Oba blocks the Trick Shot to then throw hands! Trick dodges to CHOP, CHOP, and CHOP! Trick whips, Oba reverses, and he BODY BLOWS! Oba reels Trick in, lifts and- NO, Trick slips free! Oba ducks one kick, blocks the other, but then Trick blocks the uppercut. Oba still blocks the whip to kick low! Oba CHOPS, Trick goes to a corner, and Oba whips corner to corner. Trick goes up and over, runs in, but Oba dodges! The fans cheer the standoff as Trick says it was that close. Oba and Trick reset, circle, and Trick waistlocks. Trick spins Oba to cravat, but Oba powers out. Trick HEEL KICKS!
Oba wobbles, Trick shows off, and the fans are torn. Oba CLOBBERS Trick! Oba tells Trick to get up, then things speed up. Oba RUNS Trick over, RUNS him over again, but then Trick hurdles, only for Oba to CLOBBER him! Oba TOSSES Trick out, the fans fire up, and Oba paces. There are even more TNA stars in the crowd than we first saw, and Oba goes out to grab Trick. APRON- NO, Trick pops free, jumps the sweep, but the JUMP CHOP gets him! Trick sputters and the fans cheer as Oba puts him in the ring. Oba aims, runs, but Trick bails out! The fans are torn, but then Oba BLASTS Trick off the apron!
Oba goes out, Trick dodges, and he FLAPJACKS Oba off the apron! Trick talks trash, but then the fans fire up as Santana just hops the barrier! Santana says relax, Trick, he’s just joining commentary. Vic & Booker are surprised, but Trick focuses on Oba. Trick CHOPS Oba against barriers, then NXT goes picture in picture.
Trick stalks Oba, the TNA stars stand up, and Trick CHOPS Oba again. Trick refreshes the count, then brings Oba around to CHOP again! But Oba blocks! Oba CHOPS Trick now! Everyone cheers that! Oba stalks Trick, but Trick kicks low! And CLUBS Oba! Trick soaks up cheers and jeers, then CHOPS again! Trick puts Oba in the ring, runs up, but has to dodge a lariat! Trick then LEAPING LARIATS! Trick paces around, covers, TWO! Trick keeps Oba down with a chinlock. Oba endures, pries at the hold, and fights back up to his feet. Oba picks Trick up, but Trick makes it a crossbody! Cover, TWO! Trick clamps right back on with a chinlock!
Oba endures all over again as Trick grinds the hold. Oba fights back up, scoops, and he SLAMS Trick! Then Oba runs, but Trick avoids the knee drop! LEG LARIAT from Trick! Cover, TWO! Oba survives but Trick is after him with another chinlock! Oba endures, the TNA stars are on the edge of their seats, but Oba fights back up. NXT returns to single picture as the fans duel, “O~BA!” “TRICK!” Oba pries the hold open, but Trick CLUBS him in the back! Trick scoops and SLAMS Oba! The fans cheer, that was honestly impressive. And then Trick has an arm, but the fans go wild as MATT CARDONA steps into view!
Trick cartwheels to lift Oba, URENAGE! Cover, TWO!! Oba survives Rock Bottom and Trick is shocked! Trick fires hands, Oba huffs ‘n’ puffs, and Trick BACKHANDS him! Oba fires up, Trick freaks out, and then Oba CHOKE SLAMS outta nowhere! Oba runs corner to corner to UPPERCUT! Oba keeps moving, and he UPPERCUTS! Oba goes again, but Trick follows to LARIAT! Trick then fires up and runs, but Oba UPPERCUTS him down!! The fans fire up as Oba scoops, and hits a BIG ENDING!! Cover, TWO!! Trick survives and the fans fire up again! Oba rises, he brings Trick up to whip, and he POP-UP- NO, Trick lands out! TRICK KICK!
Trick runs and TRICK KICKS again! Oba staggers around but he stays up, so a third TRICK KICK knocks him down! Cover, TWO!! Oba survives and Trick is beside himself! “This is Awesome!” as Trick goes up a corner. Oba rises, Trick leaps, but into Oba’s hands! CHOKE- NO, Trick flips through! But Oba ROCKS him! Trick EDDY GORDO KICKS! Trick runs, but into a scoop! SHOTPUT! The fans fire up and Oba aims at Trick! FALL FROM- RANA!! Trick has the cover, TWO!!! Oba escapes, Trick is stunned, but Trick runs, TRICK SHOT!!! Cover, TWO!?! Oba survives again and Trick is shocked! Santana is impressed with Oba’s grit, but Trick rains down fists!
Trick huffs ‘n’ puffs while the fans are dueling. Trick shakes his hair out, cartwheels to0- FALL FROM GRACE!!! Cover, TWO!??! Trick survives and Oba is beside himself! The fans hope these two “FIGHT FOREVER!” but the show has to end somehow! Oba and Trick rise up again, and the forearms fly! Then the haymakers! The fans duel, “NXT!” “TNA!” The shots keep going as both men stand, and Trick UPPERCUTS! Trick KNEES low, runs, but Oba UPPERCUTS at the ropes! Oba runs, but Trick LARIATS at the ropes! Trick runs, but Oba LARIATS Trick and himself out of the ring! Both men hurry to their feet and Oba ROCKS Trick!
Oba whips, Trick reverses, and Oba hits steel steps! Oba flounders, Trick looks around and he talks some trash to Santana. Trick SLAPS Santana!? So Santana SMACKS Trick!!
Winner: Trick Williams, by disqualification; both champions retain their titles
AND NOW ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE! The TNA stars rush in and go after Trick! But then NXT stars like Hank ‘n’ Tank rush out here to HELP Trick! The fans are thunderous as it is a brawl the likes we’ve never seen before! Mark it down: September 23rd, 2025, that is the night TNA invaded NXT to bring about Total Nonstop Anarchy! And yet Ricky Saints calmly walks out here to admire the NXT Championship belt. One way or another, he’s got a match for that with Oba, and Oba rises up to stare him down. They ignore the storm around them, ready to show each other No Mercy! Who will be the man that runs NXT after Saturday night?
My Thoughts:
A great NXT here, as not just a go-home to No Mercy but clearly as a set-up for something much bigger on the horizon. And as great as that main event was getting, of course it ends with a disqualification and a massive brawl. Oba was not losing his title to Trick, Trick was not losing his title to Oba, and now Trick will battle Santana at TNA Bound for Glory while Ricky Saints and Oba Femi have their match at No Mercy. Great video from Saints, but that was a given with how well he always did his own videos in AEW. A part of me would hope this means Ricky wins, as Oba’s already had a great run and needs something to help him move on to main roster.
Sadly, No Mercy might not be Lola’s nice. She got to stand tall over Jacy in their promo segment together, so the go-home math no longer favors her. That is, unless Jazmyn shows up for revenge. She was attacked off camera by pretty much anyone you want this to be, and that’s Jacy’s excuse to drop her from the team. Jazmyn can get the ultimate revenge while moving up the ranks by costing Jacy, and then Jazmyn and Jacy can feud going towards the end of the year. A part of me wonders if this is all a set-up anyway, where Jazmyn could’ve easily faked this just to see how Jacy would react, and she has her answer either way.
I still think Lainey Reid was going to replace Jazmyn anyway. Lainey and Candice had a great Speed match tonight, and a great win for Lainey. Lainey’s promo with Jacy where they each wish each other luck could signal how Lainey will be Jacy’s new sidekick. There’s even half a chance Fallon chooses Jazmyn’s side and we get a tag match of Jazmyn & Fallon VS Jacy & Lainey, but maybe that’s a bit too much. As for Lainey VS Sol, I would lean towards Sol retaining, but there’s still a story that can be told of Zaria turning on Sol so that they end up feuding for the Women’s North American Championship, letting Lainey have the Speed title to carry forward.
Great stuff with Ethan Page as he calls out Dr. Wagner III, and a great swerve because honestly, Tavion’s build helped him sell being Dr. Wagner III. Ethan was getting humbled either way, but this go-home math now says Ethan finds a way to retain against Tavion so that Ethan and the real Dr. Wagner III can have it out down the line. Good promo from Lyra and Tatum to relate everything that’s gone on, from the Three Faces of Bayley story on Raw to the real misfortune of Gigi Dolin and Shotzi Blackheart from being released in the middle of their trios story with Tatum. But of course Izzi also got involved to keep these two apart. Izzi VS Lyra could actually be a great match, too.
Good promo bit from Jordynne and Arianna to set up their Grace VS Grace match, and of course Jordynne won. Blake showing up to brawl with Jordynne was great, and Stevie & Stone choosing to make one more No Mercy match is great stuff with it being the Weaponized Steel Cage. Ava being gone and in the UK is an interesting move, but I’m not going to hope for the return of NXT UK just yet. At the very least, we might get NXT going to the UK for a special event, such as this huge crossover with TNA. Though even that might not seem likely. It would be interesting if an NXT event was to apologize to the UK for not getting WrestleMania with Saudi Arabia taking 43.
Very good promo from Briggs, though I feel like the concept of “I can’t connect with fans, but I don’t want to because the fans are losers!” is overused in modern Heels already. And I feel like Je’Von will/should win against Briggs to help propel him back to the top title scene. Very good promo from Jaida to call out Lash, they’ll have a great rematch, too. Very good promo from Chase U, DarkState and Joe Hendry, and a great Six Man Tag. Uriah really got to show his stuff here, and being a son of Fit Finlay, if he’s anything like his brother, David Finlay, Uriah can really become somebody in NXT’s next phase.
And great Lights Out match from Myles and Lexis, though I think they keep taking the concept too literal. The lack of light made it hard to really watch this match. But either way, great win for Myles, and if him crossing paths with Ethan is any indication, Myles will get his shot at the North American Championship soon, and that’ll be a great feud.

The Big Five Project returns as we cover Survivor Series’96, including Austin vs The Hitman and Sycho Sid capturing the WWE Championship!
The Big Five Project returns as we bring 1996 to an epic conclusion. Before we get there, though, Rey Cash joins Dave and PC Tunney to take a look at the full card for WrestleMania 42, coming up in just a few days. What matches are we excited about, and what are we unsure of? From there, it is on to Survivor Series ’96. The final PPV of 1996 delivered on many fronts. Emanating from Madison Square Garden, this event stood on the precipice of the emergence of the Attitude Era, and the crowd in New York City truly let Vince McMahon know what was working and what was not. On this memorable night, we saw Undertaker and Mankind end their storied rivalry, for a little while anyway. On the other hand, Bret “The Hitman” Hart and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin were just beginning their rivalry. Speaking of beginnings, Survivor Series ’96 saw the debut of an electrifying future champion and icon in Rocky Maivia, the man we would all come to know as The Rock in just a couple of years. In the Main Event, though, the NYC crowd would memorably turn against the WWF Champion, Shawn Michaels, and align themselves with Sycho Sid, and history was made. The Attitude Era is nearly here, and Survivor Series’ 96 caught a lot of what would make the next few years in WWE, in the eyes of many, the greatest in the history of the industry! The bell rings and The two tie up. They go around, go along the ropes, then in and out of a corner. The ref counts the ropebreak but these two keep moving around! They finally settle, but then they get off the ropes and go around at center. Jaida powers Lani to ropes, the fans chant, “Whoop, Her Ass, Jaida!” Jaida backs off, Lani shoves her, but Jaida SHOVES Lani outta the ring! Lani scrambles back in, they tie back up, and they end up on ropes again. The fans continue to cheer Jaida on, but Lani HOTSHOTS Jaida under the ropes! The fans boo but Lani storms up again, only for Jaida to CHOP! And CHOP!
Jaida lifts Lani, Lani sunset flips, but Jaida rolls through to basement BOOT! Jaida runs, and she slides into the headlock! Jaida eggs Lani on as Lani endures, and Lani fights up to her feet. Jaida hits a headlock takeover, then grinds Lani down. Lani powers Jaida down but Jaida just fights back to the headlock! The fans cheer as Jaida grinds Lani again. Lani fights up, but Jaida gator rolls her! Jaida gator rolls Lani again, showing she can do technique, too. Lani fights up to her feet, fires body shots, but Jaida CLUBS her for it! Jaida suplexes, Lani slips free, and Lani waistlocks. Jaida stops the O’Conner, switches, but Lani switches back!
Jaida bucks the O’Conner this time, but Lani kicks low! Lani whips Jaida, Jaida reverses, then arm-drags! The fans cheer as Jaida RUNS Lani over! The fans rally but Lani snapmares Jaida into the ropes! Jaida clutches the leg while Lani talks trash. The fans boo but Lani pushes Jaida to a corner. Lani grabs that bad leg, and bends it against the post! The ref counts, Lani stops at 4, but Jaida kicks at Lani. Lani SLAMS the bad leg into the post! Lani CHOP BLOCKS Jaida, then scowls as Jaida hobbles to a corner. Lani runs up, but into another elbow! Jaida bumps Lani off buckles again and again, then does her best to walk on the bad leg.

Lani gets mad, but she runs into a fireman’s carry! SAMOAN DROP! Jaida fires up, runs up, and RUNS Lani over! And RUNS her over again! Jaida whips, Lani reverses, but Jaida ducks to BACKSTABBER! The fans fire up while Lani flounders away. Jaida grits her teeth as she rises up, runs up, and she blocks kicks! Jaida puts Lani in the ropes, CHOPS, CHOPS, and manages the TEARDROP! Jaida can’t quite high step but the energy is still there!

Shiloh Hill takes stock.
Wood upstairs, nails downstairs, miter saw downstairs, hammer in hand. Pump gear…? Ricky Saints walks in and says every time he sees Shiloh, he is up to something. What’s he building now? A time machine? Wanna go back in time to make sure those teeth don’t get jacked up? Shiloh laughs it off and asks if this looks like a super conductor to him. If he was building a time machine, he wouldn’t be done until at least last week. Get it? Hah! No, it’s something for Tatum, she had this great idea- Ethan Page steps in and asks if this is a bad time to talk. Ricky says no, not at all. Ethan has saved Ricky, and Ricky is glad, because they need to talk.
Ethan agrees, they need to talk about Stand & Deliver where things between friends really got out of hand. Oh, wow, does Ethan mean when he started it? And Ricky escalated it! But y’know what? Ethan will try it one more time. He wants to extend the olive branch. Last week went well, right? Yes, for Ethan. Ethan says divided, they are distracted, but together, they are powerful. Allow Ethan to help Ricky help Ethan, which in the long run will help Ricky. Ricky needs to help Ethan become two-time NXT Champion, so that he can get first crack at it on the other side. Ricky says he is sorry, and these two hug it out.
The Absolute Egos feel good now, they’re gonna party! Shiloh can’t make heads or tails of this, but will Tony D’Angelo need someone watching is back tonight?
Sol Ruca speaks.
“Zaria and I walked into last year’s Stand & Deliver as a team, competing for singles gold. We both had a mutual understanding that it was every woman for herself. Yet, I ended it on top of the ladder. I became a double champion, but I wanted my best friend to become a champion, as well. So we decided to go after the tag team titles at Evolution. Zaria hit me with a spear, and I knew it wasn’t her fault, and things happen in the ring, we move on. A few months later, we had another title opportunity on SmackDown. Unfortunately, I hurt my knee and I felt like I let my best friend down.
“Because of this injury, I wasn’t able to defend my title at Halloween Havoc. I was about to vacate the title, but when Zaria wanted to defend the title for me, I thought of it as a way to make it up to her for losing the tag matches. I know it was a risk, but I trusted Zaria with my life, so of course I was gonna let her step up. However, she gets distracted and loses. I vacated the Speed title, focused on getting cleared, and I finally got my title rematch. I was reaching for the ropes, and Zaria threw in the towel. Zaria took the decision out of my hand, and I know that if I did that to her, she would’ve lost her mind.
“Now thinking back, it’s because she couldn’t stand the thought of me being a champion again instead of her. It makes sense now because that’s the reason why she didn’t hesitate when I said she should be the one to go after the TNA Knockouts Championship. I knew how badly she wanted to be a champion, she wanted to be a champion so that she could feel superior to me. I never claimed to be perfect friend, but I know I was a good friend to Zaria. Every time we argued, I apologized. Every time she called me out for being greedy, I vouched for her so she could get her own opportunities. I owned up to everything I did.
“Our ambitions became our bond, and I thought our bond was stronger than our ambitions. After I beat Zaria at Stand & Deliver, I realized she was right: I wasn’t the villain, I was just the last woman standing every time an opportunity presented itself. All Zaria does is point the blame at me and give excuses as to why she can’t get it done. So, Zaria, next week, Last Woman Standing, what’s your excuse gonna be?”
Joe Hendry is here!
The fans cheer, because it is time for another Joe Hendry concert! The fans wave their hands from side to side as Hendry steps into the ring and picks up his guitar. Hendry takes his seat, adjusts his mic, and hears the fans chant, “WE BELIEVE! WE BELIEVE!” “Say his name and he appears. Let’s call it like it is: I lost the NXT Championship. And that means I need to ask myself some really difficult questions. ‘Is this the end of the road? Should I just stop now? Should I just quit?’ Well, I looked at myself in the mirror, and I said, ‘Joe says no!'” The fans cheer for that! “Joe Says No! Joe Says No!”
Hendry says what we’re gonna do now is lift everyone’s spirits with a concert! The fans cheer again, and they clap along as Hendry strums his guitar. “I was the champion for all of NXT. And now it’s some guy leaving the mafia, his name is Tony D. Can I reclaim? I guess we’ll have to see. Everybody wants the title, so many challengers remain. Including Ethan and Ricky now, they’re on the same page again, pun intended. Can Tony D retain? The title was my life, it’s a shame that I lost her. Can I get it back? Or will I go to the…” Before Hendry can sing “main roster,” Keanu Carver storms out here! Hendry says whoa, hold on, no, no, no. We’re not doing this!
Hendry tells Keanu he saw him disrespecting everyone in NXT. The fans were promised a Joe Hendry concert, and they are gonna get a Joe Hendry concert! The fans cheer, but Keanu shoves Hendry! So Hendry fires hands! The fans cheer again as Keanu kicks low, gets his spare, and gives Keanu a SMASH HIT! But Keanu shrugs it off?! Keanu LARIATS Hendry down! Keanu rains down fists while the fans boo! Security rushes in but Keanu SHVOES them both away! Then he DECKS on, HEADBUTTS the other, and pursues Hendry on the outside. More security rushes in, but Keanu POUNCES them and Hendry through the barriers!!
The fans go nuts as the One Man Demolition Crew just wrecked half a dozen men without breaking a sweat! But will he be breaking through to that next level?
Tony D’Angelo speaks.
“Tonight, I set the tone on how my reign as NXT Champion goes, because I’m about to face Ethan Page, a man who has made is mark in NXT. A former NXT Champion, arguably the greatest North American Champion of all time. The man who broke The Ruler’s record. Now The Ruler, he’s about to slay the Beast at WrestleMania. Well, Page, you’re looking at the man who dethroned The Ruler! That’s a big notch in my belt, and I’m gonna need a couple more of those if I’m gonna get to where I wanna be. Now Ethan, I picked you cuz I don’t like you, your smile, or your style. But I also picked you because for the last two years, you’ve been at the forefront on NXT.
“Now, I changed my life for this title. And tonight, I’m gonna smash you and your ego to keep it.” The Vigilante has spoken, but will he still be the champion? Or is Ethan about to have his Revenge for Stand & Deliver?

And then in steps Stephanie Vaquer! Champion and champion say hola, and Vaquer says, “Amiga, that title looks good on you.” Lola says gracias. Is she ready for tonight? Si, and Lola can’t wait to see Vaquer bring La Primera to WrestleMania. Beat Liv! They hip bump and Vaquer wishes Lola luck. Will NXT still be the capital of Vice City? Or will the Fatal Influence find a way to exact their revenge?

The inaugural WWE Evolve Women’s Champion has been on NXT before, and is even fighting for that title again tomorrow night in a Gauntlet Eliminator. But will the Difference Maker start making that difference in the NXT Women’s Division here tonight?
The bell rings and the fans rally up. Kali and Skylar stare down, and Skylar offers a handshake. Kali slaps it away and flexes on Skylar quite literally. They tie up, Kali THROWS Skylar down, then grinds the armlock. Kali LIFTS Skylar to then SLAM her down, and repeat! Kali eggs Skylar on, Skylar fights up and around, but Kali knees low! Kali reels Skylar in, but Skylar wrenches out to kick low. Skylar ducks ‘n’ dodges, tilt-o-whirls and LA MYSTICA! Kali flounders to a corner, Skylar whips, but Kali reverses and SPINEBUSTERS! Well, that said, she pinned the champion so… Yes, yes, Blake earned her opportunity at the NXT Women’s North American Championship. Stone already talked with Tatum Paxley, she’ll take the rematch for next week. HOWEVER…! She insisted on selecting the stipulation for the match, and Stone approved. What?! Why!? Hold on, hold on, Drake will handle this. The Carolina Reaper has no idea what kind of bias Suit Man Stone has against the rightful champion, Blake Monroe, but it will not stand!
Brad Baylor says hundos! Blake, look, calm down. You are the Glamour! It won’t matter what the stipulation is, she’ll be fine! Ricky Smokes agrees. Plus, how bad could it be? Blake says fine! They’re leaving! Vanity Project hopes Stone is happy making Blake cry! Stone tells them to just get out. But wait, what stipulation will Tatum choose to settle things between her and Blake?

Stand & Deliver raised the bar with that Fatal 4 Way, and while Tony D came out on top, he knew all three of his opponents would want their turn. All Ego gets to go first, but will he just be the first to fall? Or will he absolutely become a two-time NXT Champion?
NXT returns as Tony makes his entrance. The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who is truly NXT’s best!
The bell rings and Ethan talks a lot of trash already. Ethan says HE is the Face of NXT, but then Tony dodges his punch to fire fast hands! Tony backs Ethan into a corner, stomps him, then follows Ethan to another corner. Ethan kicks in return but Tony ROCKS Ethan. Tony SMACKS Ethan off buckles, then bumps him off more buckles. Ethan sputters but Tony scoops him for the SLAM! The fans cheer while Tony paces around Ethan. Tony whips Ethan and LARIATS him down! Ethan flounders to ropes but Tony is right on him. Ethan ROCKS Tony in return, CLUBS away, then whips him to a corner. Tony reverses, runs up, but into a KNEE!
Ethan hurries to reel Tony in, and he suplexes, only for Tony to fight it! Tony tries to suplex, Ethan fights it, and Ethan suplexes Tony up and over! The fans boo, but now Ricky is here! Saints is already trying to put in the fix, but someone trips him up?! Who is that under the ring!? Who is dragging Ricky into the unknown?! Ethan is just as shocked, but Tony whips Ethan to ropes. Ethan ducks to swing on Tony, but Tony dodges back! DOUBLE LARIATS bring them both down and the fans rally up! Wait, out the other side is SHILOH HILL! He has Saints’ legs tied up with a rope, and he’s dragging Saints along!
Saints grabs the ring frame in desperation, but Shiloh just laughs as he YANKS Saints free! Then Shiloh drags Saints up the ramp and to the back! Ethan whips Tony, Tony reverses, and fireman’s carry for the DEATH VALLEY BOMB! Cover, TWO! Ethan flounders to the apron, but Tony goes out after him! Ethan slips free again, then KICKS Tony in the ropes! KNEE SMASH and Tony flops down. Ethan goes out after Tony, SWINGING NECKBREAKER to the floor! Both men are down while NXT goes picture in picture.
Ethan snarls as he watches Tony writhe. Ethan drags Tony up, SMACKS him off the steel steps, then throws hands. Ethan puts Tony in the ring, but Tony fires hands in return! They throw haymakers back and forth, Ethan gets the edge, then he whips. Tony reverses to atomic drop! Ethan hobbles, Tony runs, and Tony LARIATS Ethan down! Tony runs and SENTONS! Cover, TWO! Ethan is tougher than that, but Tony stays focused. Tony stalks Ethan to a corner, but Ethan YANKS him into buckles! Ethan stomps away on Tony, then rains down fists. Ethan drags Tony up, reels him in, and hits another SWINGING NECKBREAKER!

Tony pushes up, up, and NXT returns to single picture as Tony fires body shots! The fans rally for Tony as he ROCKS Ethan, then whips him to a corner. Ethan reverses, but Tony ELBOWS Ethan away! The fans rally up as Tony survives. Ethan grows frustrated, but he throws down hands. Tony shakes his head but Ethan fires more hands. Tony huffs ‘n’ puffs and the fans fire up! The two tug-o-war, but Tony rolls Ethan up! TWO, and Ethan reels Tony in! Canadian Rack, EGO’S EDGE on the belt!! Cover, TWO!! Tony survives again and the fans are thunderous! Ethan is furious as he rains down fists! Ethan then brings Tony outside, and clears off commentary!
The fans fire up as Ethan brings Tony up, puts him on the desk, then climbs up to join him. Ethan reels Tony in, the fans fire up already, but Tony turns Twisted Grin into a FACEBUSTER off the barriers! Tony puts Ethan on the desk now, and he goes up the barriers! The fans fire up as Tony gets a running start, SPEAR onto the desk! The table stays standing but Ethan is hobbling! Tony pushes Ethan into the ring, he picks Ethan up, DEAD TO RIGHTS! Cover, Tony wins!

NXT returns as Ricky Saints storms around backstage.
He demands to know where Shiloh went! How dare he hogtie Ricky, like everything is a joke! Saints says Shiloh stuck his nose in Saints’ business! This ain’t over! Shiloh says oh, good, Saints can help him with this stuff. Shiloh holds up the electric drill and the electric saw! Saints says this ain’t over! Saints storms off, Shiloh laughs again, but just what is this project he’s helping Tatum with…?
Myles Borne is in the ring.
The NXT North American Champion is back, and he has the mic to say, “At Stand & Deliver, I pulled the black ‘n’ gold outta Johnny Wrestling, and I sent him right back to SmackDown. What a feeling! I was standing there on my own with this title that I busted my ass for, about to go home and celebrate with my favorite dessert.” Myles winks and the fans cheer. Myles says then, he gets hit with a chair from behind by Dion Lennox! Now, he knows that we all know he’s deaf. But he heard that chair shot, and more importantly, he felt it. And all the chatter after the match wasn’t about how Myles beat an NXT legend. It was that Dion Lennox might be our next champion?!
So last week, Myles decided to DarkState DarkState, minus the cute little masks that they wear. Dion, at Stand & Deliver, you stole Myles’ moment. So it is only fair when Myles says this: “DarkState… When you attack the North American Champion, ain’t nobody safe!” But wait, DARKSTATE IS HERE! The fans freak out already as Osiris Griffin, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, and of course Dion Lennox, stand in the crowd. Dion tells Myles that he may have gotten this championship edge from Ethan Page, but he sure didn’t get any brains. Over the last year, DarkState has dropped champions, won titles, and put fear into NXT!
And over the last few months, Dion has been fingertips away from the NXT title. Distractions keep getting in the way, but Dion’s gonna put a stop to all of that! The DarkState slump is over! And their future is on Myles’ shoulder in that North American title! So Dion will give Myles two options: Accept your fate, or try and deny the inevitable. Myles tells Dion if he wants a title match, they can just put that together for next week, no problems. But as for his ultimatum, Myles goes with option C: he keeps the title! Dion doesn’t like that answer, huh? Well, Dion can either have the title match, or DarkState can do what DarkState does and slide into this ring, and try and take him out!
But if you do that, you might not get your match. So Dion, as the leader of DarkState, you have a decision to make. Either way, Myles is ready. Saquon has everyone hold on. Leader of DarkState? Fool, you misinformed. There ain’t no leader, and ain’t no damn reason you should be talking out the side of your neck like they ain’t gonna break it! Listen, fool! Nobody care about no damn title match! Myles says it’s on then! But Dion says hold on, hold on! They ain’t doing this right now. Saquon asks what Dion is talking about, and Dion says he’s talking about their future! And their future IS that title! Saquon asks if Dion means their figure, or just Dion’s.
Saquon rushes the ring, Myles dodges, and BORNE AGAIN for the Sugar Man! DarkState regroups on the outside, and Cutler keeps the peace between Dion and Saquon. Will DarkState work on their dysfunction before they even try to go for a goal?
Zaria speaks.
“The writing was on the wall at least year’s Stand & Deliver. I was the first to qualify for the North American title ladder match, and then Sol had to go and do the same thing, under the impression that it was every woman for herself. When we met at the top of that ladder, the only thing in that moment that mattered was her. She was everything. The only thing that mattered to Sol was gold! So she kicked me off of the ladder, and she won. I did my best to be the supportive best friend when she had two titles while I had nothing. We finally got our first change at tag team gold at Evolution, Sol screws it up, in the wrong place at the wrong time.
“But of course, it’s not Sol’s fault. Just like it was a few months later on SmackDown. When I needed Sol to come through, what happens? She gets hurt. Who gest the worst of it? Me. So instead of leaving her, I did what any good friend would do, and I volunteered to defend er North American title so she didn’t have to watch all of her hard work slip through her hands. And what happens in the match? Sol makes it about her, and it costs me again. But this time, Sol got a taste of it cuz she lost the title. Now in the rematch, the girl can barely stand. I throw in the towel so that Sol doesn’t go on the injured list for a year, and I’m the bad friend?
“No, I think it’s the complete opposite. I shouldn’t have thrown in the towel, because then I wouldn’t have to watch her get handpicked for every single opportunity! WWE Speed Championship Tournament: EK Prosper VS Dorian Van Dux!
With Lexis King waiting in the finals, the Disrespectfully Athletic and the Muscles from Brussels meet, three minutes between them and a golden opportunity! But will the Drama King soon be facing the Knight? Or will will this tournament soon be on DVD?
The bell rings and both men run up! EK RAN- NO! DVD stops the rana, throws EK to the corner, but EK goes up and over! EK gets moving, but DVD puts him on the apron. EK goes back up and over to keep moving, but DVD hurdles. EK pommels off DVD’s back, but DVD ducks ‘n’ dodges to then fake EK out! EK runs up but DVD catches him and THROWS him outside! Then DVD FLIES! He just manages to clear the ropes but he takes EK down all the same! The fans fire up for DVD as he puts EK in, goes up top, and DIVING BODY PRESS! That was two-thirds of the way! Cover, TWO!! EK survives but the fans rally up again.
DVD reels EK in, lifts him up, and POP-UP- NO, EK sunset BOMBS DVD! We hit the orange phase but EK goes to the apron! TOP ROPE ASAI MOONSAULT! Down goes DVD but EK hurries to put him back in! EK runs up on the corner, blocks the kick and DROPKICKS back! EK then aims from the apron, springboards in, but DVD dodges! DVD goes up the corner and MISSILE DROPKICKS in return! The fans fire up as DVD keeps moving, and he LARIATS EK inside-out! Cover, TWO! EK survives but DVD goes up the corner again. We hit the red phase as EK DROPKICKS again! EK then goes to the UPPER ROOM!
DVD flounders, EK runs up, SHINING WIZARD! Cover, TWO!! DVD survives but EK hurries! DVD SMACKS EK, EK SUPERKICKS back! DVD KNEES EK, then goes up, up, and fakes EK out before the FLYING CUTTER!! DVD keeps going, we’re under THIRTY! DVD is up, up, and away! But EK avoids the Shooting Star! EK hurries up top, MOONSAULT! Cover, EK WINS!!
Winner: EK Prosper, by pinfall (advances to the finals)
With SEVEN seconds to spare, EK snatches victory from the jaws of defeat! He shows respect to DVD, DVD shows it back. We all got to see what Van Dux can do, but will we see EK prosper in the Speed tournament finals?
Robert Stone reprimands Keanu Carver.
Suit Man Stone asks what Keanu thought he was doing out there, ruining the Hendry concert. Keanu says time for talking is done! No more singing, no more guitarists, none of it. Stone isn’t sure about all that, but Keanu is forcing his hand. Next week, Keanu VS Hendry. Keanu asks if Stone is really putting Hendry in a match with him. Keanu promises us, it’ll be Hendry’s funeral! Keanu doesn’t seem to believe in Joe Hendry like the rest of us, but will he have no choice but to respect Hendry after they go 1v1?
NXT presents Chronicle: Kendal Grey.
“This isn’t my typical style. Getting dressed up, talking about myself. I’m the type of person to let my actions speak for me. But coming off of Stand & Deliver and competing for the NXT Women’s Championship, even though I didn’t win the title, I’ve had a ton of time to reflect over the past year. I remember asking last year what my chances were to get on Stand & Deliver, because it was in my hometown, Las Vegas, Nevada. And the answer I got was, umm, probably like 1%. I was on nobody’s radar, nobody knew who Kendal Grey was, and when it came to the NXT Women’s Division, I was pretty much non-existent, so it’s pretty cool to see how far I’ve grown over the past year.
“And a big part of that has been my friendship with Wren. When I get in the ring, I’m serious, I’m locked in, I’m laser focused. But then when I’m making videos with her and going backstage, and doing #Wrensdays, I’m silly, I’m goofy. I let that goofy side come out. Another big part of my growth over the past year is Evolve. If you look at my very first match on Evolve, to my last match on Evolve, I’m a completely different person. Evolve gave me a platform to find myself, to find confidence inside and outside of the ring. And most importantly, it gave me confidence in believing I will be a WWE Superstar.
“My transition from amateur wrestling to pro-wrestling hasn’t been easy. And just because a few people have done it doesn’t mean it’s not difficult. But without Evolve, I would have no success on NXT, and I definitely wouldn’t be the 2025 Iron Survivor. That was the night that I truly believed that I can hang with the best in NXT. That was the night the WWE Universe saw me as a star, NXT saw me as a star. And you’re telling me John Cena picked me to be in that match? Like, bro, c’mon, that’s the best I could be! I mean, I remember as a kid wearing John Cena merch, having his chains, my dad would take me and my brother just to watch John Cena!
“Me and my brother would argue who was gonna be John Cena on the video games, and now he chose ME as someone worthy of going after the NXT Women’s Championship? I’d always find little pieces of advice John Cena would say in podcasts and interviews. He would say to always show up early, outwork everyone, and be coachable. And that’s exactly what I did at my tryout to get to NXT. I remember after winning my third national title, I had Julius Creed reach out saying, ‘WWE next?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, okay, totally.’ Because I didn’t even think this would be a possibility. And days later, I had WWE reaching out, asking me if I wanted to try out.
“It was right after Nationals, I was still cutting weight, like 110 pounds, I was the smallest girl at the tryout. And I remember in that moment, I was like, ‘What am I doing here? I don’t fit in. I’m too small, stuttering over my words.’ But the more I got in the ring, the more I realized I was starting to fall in love with it. And once my competitive edge kicked in, I knew I wasn’t walking out without a contract. That’s what got me to NXT, but trust me, there’s a whole different side to me that NXT doesn’t know.” The Ice Woman is ready to do more than Evolve, but will Grey be golden soon enough?
Robert Stone checks in with Tatum Paxley.
Stone gets she wanted to talk but he was thinking more his office. Why is she up this high in the shelves?! Tatum says this is where she goes to think. To think?! Stone, look, this has to stop! She is the one and only NXT Women’s North American Champion! Yes, and they have the match set, but what is the stipulation she’s chosen? Well, it seems that no matter what Tatum says or does, Blake keeps finding ways of calling herself a champion. Yes, but can they talk about this on the ground? No. The more Blake is pushed, the more she becomes the ruthless, vindictive Woman From Hell. So Tatum will do what she should’ve done the moment Blake set foot in NXT.
Tatum will lay Blake to rest. W-What? How? Tatum will send Blake and that fake belt to HELL where they belong! Shiloh calls to Tatum and says he’s finished! It’s all done! Is that a CASKET?! Tatum loves it! And it’s perfect for their Casket Match! A c-c-casket match?! Tatum and Shiloh are both laughing but Stone might be ready to faint. Will Tatum make Blake rest in pieces next week?
DarkState regroups backstage.
Dion is heated at Saquon but Saquon says it’s all good, right? Dion got what he wanted. Dion says no, it ain’t good! Saquon ain’t listening to Dion, he questions everything Dion does, and he dropped on to Ethan Page last week! Oh, and where was Dion last week? Fool, Saquon got mobbed while Dion was worried about the North American title. They been down and Dion don’t care! Dion says if they’re down, he’s down, don’t act like he doesn’t care! Saquon says that’s not how they rule! If it was anyone else, Osiris & Cutty would’ve sent his ass through the clouds! But no, they gotta worry about Dion and his title match! What do Dion wanna do? Dion keeps changing the play!
Dion shouts that he isn’t changing anything! He’s trying to be smart, UNLIKE Saquon! Osiris & Cutler step in and tell them to calm down! They gotta stick together! Dion takes a breath, and says in order to get to the top of NXT, something they all want, they need gold. Right now, this is their only shot, so why risk it? Saquon just leaves, but the others seem to understand. Will DarkState (not) be alright after Dion gets his shot at Myles?
NXT Women’s Championship: Lola Vice VS Jacy Jayne w/ The Fatal Influence!
A wild finish in Madison Square Garden led to a wild Triple Threat in St. Louis, and in the end, it was the Mayor of Vice City standing tall! But now the Toxic Rockstar wants her Revenge, so here is the rematch! Will Lola’s moment only last for a moment? Or will her reign survive through WrestleMania Season?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who says buenas noches to the spotlight!
The bell rings and the fans rally up for Lola. Jacy and Lola circle slowly, put their dukes up, and they tie up. They go around, end up on the ropes, and Jacy pie faces Lola, but Lola shoves past her. The fans duel as the two reset, tie up, and Lola wrangles Jacy with a chinbar! Lola digs her knee in, but Jacy headscissors! Lola powers out to get a leg but Jacy kicks free. Jacy is frustrated already but the two reset. Lola and Jacy tie up, and Jacy pulls hair to put Lola on the ropes. The ref counts, Jacy lets off slowly, and she CHOPS! Lola CHOPS back! The CHOPS continue, then Lola blocks a shot to fire off palm strikes!
Lola runs and uses the ropes for a slingshot arm-drag! Jacy tumbles, Lola runs up, but Jacy ducks a kick! Jacy jukes around, arm-drags back, then trips Lola to a cover, ONE! Lola trips Jacy to a cover, ONE! Lola ghost pins, TWO! Jacy CLOBBERS Lola, then does her dance. Jacy runs, Lola stays low, but Jacy counters hip toss with hip toss, only for Lola to counter with an ARMBAR TAKEDOWN! Jacy flails, Fallon & Lainey panic, but Jacy high stacks Lola. TWO as Lola lets Jacy go, and Lola BODY BLOWS Jacy! The fans fire up as Lola then storms up on Jacy, whips her to ropes, and she KICKS low! Lola whips and KICKS again!
Lola SOBATS Jacy outta the ring, then goes to the apron. Lola waits, runs up, but Lainey takes the SEATED SENTON for Jacy! Jacy returns to BOOT Lola down! The fans are torn but Jacy smiles as she stands tall, and NXT goes picture in picture.
Jacy leans on the pedestal, getting a photo op with the belt as she signals she’s gonna be a THREE-TIME champion. Jacy then drags Lola up, RAMS her into the apron, and RAMS her in again! Jacy puts Lola in the ring, then hurries after her for a NECKBREAKER DROP! Cover, TWO! Lola is tougher than that but Jacy stalks her to the ropes. Jacy drags Lola up, bumps her off buckles, then bumps her off more buckles. Jacy fires hands, stomps Lola down, and repeat! The ref counts, Jacy digs her boots in, but she stops at 4. Jacy swaggers before she brings Lola up and around for a snapmare. Jacy KICKS Lola in the back, then basement SUPERKICKS her down!
Jacy runs to SENTON onto Lola! Cover, TWO! Lola survives but Jacy keeps on her. Jacy clamps on with a neck wrench but Lola endures. Lola fights up, fires body shots, but Jacy CLUBS her! Lola fires in return, whips Jacy to ropes, but Jacy reverses and ELBOWS Lola down! Jacy snarls as she ELBOWS Lola in the head ‘n’ neck again and again! Jacy clamps onto a chinlock and grinds Lola down. Jacy almost has a Bully Choke but Lola still endures. Lola fights around, rises up, and RAMS Jacy into the buckles again and again! But Jacy THROWS Lola into the corner! Jacy runs up, but Lola BOOTS her away!
Lola ELBOWS Jacy, then dodges to run, dodge, again, but DOUBLE LARIATS take both women down! NXT returns to single picture as the fans rally harder and harder for Lola. Jacy flounders away, but comes back to ROCK Lola! Lola ROCKS Jacy, Jacy mule kicks, and they throw shots back and forth! Jacy ROCKS Lola, Lola ROCKS Jacy, but Jacy mule kicks, front kicks, and- NO, Lola ducks the enzigiri to then GERMAN SUPLEX! The fans fire up while Jacy flounders. Lola waits on Jacy to stand, so she can KICK her down! And KICK her again! And SPIN KICK! SPIN KICK! And LIGHTNING KICK! Jacy falls into the corner, and the fans know waht’s next!
Lola reminds us, “I’M A LATINA~!” HIP ATTACK! Lola keeps moving, HIP ATTACK! The fans fire up again as Lola drags Jacy up, SAIDO! Lola keeps moving, SEATED SENTON! Cover, TWO! But into a TRIANGLE HOLD! Jacy makes it a cover, TWO! Jacy SUPERKICKS! Lola wobbles, Jacy ducks the heel kick, but not the second HEEL KICK! Jacy flops back out of the ring but Lola pursues! The fans chant “SI SE PUEDES!” as Lola drags Jacy into the ring. Lainey talks trash on Lola, the ref warns her, but Lola focus on Jacy, ROCKSTAR KNEE!! Cover, TWO!! Jacy almost stole this thanks to Fatal Influence but Lola is tougher than that!
The fans rally as Lola goes to a corner, Jacy runs in and BACK BODY BLOCKS! Jacy SMACKS Lola, puts her up top, then SLAPS Lola! Jacy goes for another shot, but Lola gets her in a HANGING TRIANGLE!! The fans fire up, but Lainey distracts the ref so Fallon can YEEHAW KICK from the post!! Fallon puts Lola in, Jacy runs up, ROLLING ENCORE!! Cover, TWO!!! Lola survives and Fatal Influence is both shocked and furious! The fans rally even harder for Lola now, but Jacy runs up! Lola avoids the knee to roll Jacy, into a GUILLOTINE FACELOCK!! Jacy flails as she’s in the body scissors, but she fights up!
Lola lets the scissors go to swing Jacy around! Then with the corner, TORNADO TAKEDOWN! GUILLOTINE!! Jacy fights back up but Lola holds on tight! They roll, Jacy has the jackknife bridge! TWO, Jacy is free, but Lola dodges to waistlock! O’Conner Roll, TWO! LAINEY SMACKS LOLA!! The fans boo as Jacy runs up, ROLLING- NO! Lola ducks it! URAKEN!! Cover, LOLA WINS!!!
Winner: Lola Vice, by pinfall (still NXT Women’s Champion)
Lainey tried to repeat history from when she screwed Lola over to help Jacy, but it did NOT work! Lola overcame these 3v1 odds to solidify her reign! But then KALI ARMSTRONG clobbers Fatal Influence?! Kali stares Lola down, but then surprise! Kendal Grey appears from the crowd side. And so does Izzi Dame! And then ZARIA makes her entrance?! Only for SOL TO FLY IN FROM OUTTA NOWHERE!! Sol and Zaria go brawling off backstage, what happens when those to go all out in a Last Woman Standing match? As for the rest, did Lola win just to have the walls close in on her? Or can she survive the most stacked division in wrestling today?
My Thoughts:
A great first night for the first-ever NXT Revenge, this can definitely work as their equivalent of Backlash. I will say, Kendal Grey’s promo definitely hinted that Stand & Deliver was meant to be in Vegas this year, but then something complicated that and they went with St. Louis as the fallback. That aside, very good promo from Kendal, and it surely helped the NXT-only audience understand Evolve is a great starting place for a lot of the new NXT stars. Kali Armstrong certainly made a case for herself winning her match tonight and then attacking Fatal Influence. But if Kali is already looking to THE NXT Women’s Championship, that basically spoils she isn’t winning the Evolve Women’s Championship on tomorrow’s episode of Evolve…
Honestly, where was Kelani Jordan in that ending? Lani VS Jaida was a very good match, very good win for Lani, and I would think Lani would stake her claim to the title, too. Izzi Dame of course did, but does she really have that much of an argument when she’s coming off a loss to Tatum? We’ll get a great series of matches to determine a contender, though, with Izzi, Kendal, Kali and Lani making for either a great two round tournament or an awesome Fatal 4 Way. That said, great match from Lola VS Jacy, and now with Jacy out of the way, we can see them build to Jacy’s farewell to NXT, and maybe even all of Fatal Influence with her to bring that all to main roster.
We also got great promos from Sol and Zaria, though it didn’t add much to what we had going into Stand & Deliver. Both women still stand by their feelings, and then they had that great scrap at the end of the show, their Last Woman Standing will be the highlight of Revenge Night 2. EK VS DVD was a great Speed match, and that was really risky to push that close to the time limit. Great win for EK, he and Lexis will have a great title match, but I feel like Lexis finds a way to steal the win so that Birthright has something going for them.
Very good Joe Hendry concert, including where Keanu interrupted and then demolished Hendry and some Evolve prospects dressed up as security. The detail of Hendry being interrupted right as he was going to say “main roster” is great, too, because I would think that’s exactly what happens next for him. Good stuff with Ethan & Ricky patching things up, but Shiloh Hill also getting involved so that Ricky doesn’t cheat Tony out of the title. With that, great win for Tony, and I think Keanu is next for him. Ricky’s gonna feud with Shiloh with Ethan helping, Hendry’s halfway to main roster, and no one else is ready for the top title.
Myles had a very good promo with DarkState, and the DarkState dysfunction is going well. Myles VS Dion is going to be really good as a match, and I can’t be sure how it goes given the DarkState story. If Dion wins out, all is well. If Dion loses, the tension only grows, and someone’s gonna get jumped out of the team. And very good build to this Women’s North American title Casket Match. That casket is HUGE, makes me think someone ends up in it by falling through the lid. But perhaps not, that’s pretty wild for WWE. But as I said before, they’re not gonna waste the time and money to make a custom belt for Blake to not have her win, she will surely be the Undisputed Women’s North American Champion.
