Orange Cassidy, Tomohiro Ishii, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong have a score to settle with Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC & Daniel Garcia, so this battle will kick off the action here in St. Louis! Will Freshly Squeezed and friends make sure none of the pawns can help “The One True King of AEW?” Or will they just be appetizers before tonight’s I Quit match?

St. Louis already tells Yuta off and nothing’s even happened yet. And despite his reluctance, Roddy makes a team entrance with The Conglomeration, with their brand new music and tron! The teams sort out and The Savior of the backbreaker starts against Red Death. They tie up, go around, and Roddy has Garcia in the corner. The ref counts, Garcia shoves Roddy away, then dodges. Garcia headlocks, Roddy powers up and out to fireman’s carry, but Garcia slips free. Garcia CHOPS, talks trash, but Roddy CHOPS back! Tag to Kyle, the Paragon KICKS and CHOPS away on Garcia, but here comes Yuta! Roddy & Kyle KICK CHOP COMBO!

The fans fire up and Kyle wrenches to YANK Garcia’s arm. Then ELBOW BREAKER, but into a SLEEPER! Kyle throws Garcia away, Yuta tags in! Kyle KNEES Garcia down, then arm-drags Yuta to an armlock! Tag to Cassidy and the fans fire up! Cassidy & Kyle whip to kitchen sink KNEE, KICK, sit-up, and DOUBLE KICK COMBO! The fans fire up as Cassidy brings Yuta up. Yuta blocks the suplex, but Cassidy blocks in return. They fight for control, and Cassidy fires body shots. Yuta fires back, suplexes, but into STUN- NO! Yuta knows the Stun Dog well! He stops it, ducks an elbow, then scoops to SLAM Cassidy!

The fans boo, Yuta tells them to shut up, and he tags Pac. Pac goes up for a FLYING LEG DROP! The Bastard then stalks Cassidy to a corner. Cassidy catches his breath, Pac runs in, but Cassidy dodges as the Tailgate Brawl goes picture in picture.

Pac goes up and out, Cassidy runs up but Pac ROCKS him, goes up and over, then sidesteps. Cassidy stops the hip toss but Pac stops the backslide! They fight for control, then Pac spins it around to whip and HIP- NO, Cassidy arm-drags first! Cassidy keeps moving, wheelbarrow and arm-drag! Then a wheelbarrow to victory roll! TWO! Pac escapes in time, but he falls for the feint! Cassidy puts his hands in his pockets! Pac is annoyed, but Cassidy ducks ‘n’ dodges to run, leap, and SHOTGUN DROPKICK! Cassidy kips up, the fans cheer, and Cassidy looks to his corner. Cassidy runs, but Pac scoops to BACKBREAKER!

Pac rolls, tag to Claudio. The Swiss Cyborg stares Cassidy down, but Cassidy tags in the Stone Pitbull! Tailgate Brawl returns to single picture as the forearms fly! The fans fire up for Ishii, and he CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS! Claudio CHOPS in return! Ishii CHOPS and ROCKS Claudio but Claudio UPPERCUTS! Claudio runs, but Ishii dodges the boot to RAM Claudio! And RAM! And kick! Ishii reels Claudio in but Claudio fights the suplex! Ishii fights in return, then ducks ‘n’ dodges, only for Claudio to RUN him over! The fans boo but Claudio drags Ishii up. The Death Riders are stunned as Ishii gets moving, but Yuta gives Ishii a cheap shot! Ishii DECK Shim for it! Claudio CLOBBERS Ishii! The Death Riders BLAST The Conglomeration! Cassidy rolls in, dodges Yuta & Garcia, then DOUBLE RANA! The fans fire up and Cassidy keeps moving, tilt-o-whirl but Yuta suplexes! STUN-DOG MILLIONAIRE! But Garcia has the SLEEPER on Cassidy! Garcia shoves Cassidy to the corner, Cassidy goes up and out to ROCK Garcia, then go up again! FLYING LARIAT! Cassidy keeps moving, he ducks ‘n’ dodges Pac to tilt-o-whirl DDTS! Kip up and the fans fire up! Claudio runs in, Cassidy slips around to backslide, TWO! PENALTY KICK from Cassidy! The fans fire up as Cassidy powers up the arm. But Claudio trips him to SWING him in one smooth move! But Cassidy sits up to swing through!

Claudio stops the DDT, then powers through, only for Cassidy to slip around, SLEEPER!! The rest of the team rushes in, but Paragon catches Garcia and Yuta in COBRA TWISTS! Pac BOOTS Roddy, BOOTS Kyle, but Ishii blocks to DRAGON SCREW! Claudio is fading but he finds a second wind! He drags Cassidy around into the facelock and suplex! STUN- NO! Claudio blocks with power! Fireman’s carry, AIRPLANE SPIN! F5!! Cover, PARAGON BREAKS IT! Garcia & Yuta TOSS Paragon out and Tailgate goes back to picture in picture.

Claudio huffs ‘n’ puffs while the Death Riders mug The Conglomeration on the outside. Kyle is sent into railing! Claudio looms over Cassidy, drags him up, and UPPERCUTS! Cassidy goes to the corner, Claudio tags Yuta in, and they mug Cassidy! The ref counts, but Yuta digs his knee in. The ref reprimands, Yuta steps off at 4 because he has ’til 5! Tag to Pac, h e stomps away on Cassidy, then he digs his boot in. The ref counts, Pac steps off, but then he KICKS Cassidy while he’s down! Pac taunts Cassidy, and Cassidy fires a body shots. Pac SOBATS hard! Pac clamps on a cravat to grind Cassidy with the neck wrench but Cassidy endures.

Cassidy rises, arm-drags free, but Pac tags Claudio! Claudio falls onto Cassidy and gut wrenches him away! GUT WRENCH PLEX! Tag to Yuta, he stomps Cassidy down, then drags him up for a snap suplex. Yuta goes up the corner, to ELBOW DROP! Cover, TWO! Yuta drags Cassidy up and whips him to the corner. Yuta then BLASTS Kyle off the apron! Yuta tags Garcia and Garcia rains down fists in the corner! Eddie & Hook don’t even wait for a bell, they just rush Griff & Karter! The fans fire up as the fight spills outside, and Karter is send into barriers! Hook rains down fists on Griff, Eddie THROWS Karter into more railing, and the fans fire up even more! Hook puts Griff in the ring, Eddie CHOKES Karter, and the match is officially underway! SAYANAGI for Griff, then tag to Eddie. They double whip Griff, DOUBLE SHOULDER TACKLE him down, and the fans fire up again. Eddie stands Griff up, and puts him in a corner, but Karter gets a cheap shot in! Griff CLOBBERS Eddie, the fans boo more, but Griff drags him over to tag Karter.

The Frat mugs Eddie, and the DROPKICK knocks Eddie down. Karter stomps Eddie, bumps him off buckles, then tags Griff. They mug Eddie more, then Griff whips corner to corner. Griff runs to SPLASH Eddie, then whips him the other way. Eddie ELBOWS Griff away this time, then he goes up to FLYING SHOULDER TACKLE! Hot tag to Hook! Hook dodges Karter, ducks him, and FLYING FOREARMS! And LARIATS! Hook clinches for the T-BONE! The fans fire up and Hook storms back up on Karter. Hook clinches, but Griff CLUBS him! The fans boo but Griff & Karter double whip! Hook dodges, Eddie is back, and we get STEREO EXPLODERS!

Jameson freaks out, Eddie tells Hook to handle this, and Hook HIP TOSSES Jameson! Eddie gives Jameson MACHINE GUN CHOSP! Jameson is stinging, but Griff CLUBS Eddie! And ROCKS Hook! Karter hold Hook, Hook ducks,t eh Ivy League Elbow hits Karter! Eddie LARIATS Griff, and BACKFIST TO THE FUTURE for Karter! Then REDRUM!! Karter TAPS, Eddie & Hook win!

Big Boom AJ hosts the Tailgate Watchalong!

They’re having themselves a real tailgate in Boca Raton, but WrestleDream is big! They’re looking forward to Hangman VS Samoa Joe, Toni VS Kris, and Darby Allin taking it to Jon Moxley! Then next up, Full Gear! AJ & Big Boom are gonna take out the Don Callis Family and- Wait, RPG Vice crashes the party. Trent says they’re just making sure everyone’s ready for Full Gear. Is AJ gonna team with Big Justice? Or how about Rocky just takes on Big Mama Justice? AJ has his son step aside so he can DECK Rocky! And DECK Trent! Then he RAMS Rocky into a table! But Trent SMACKS AJ with a tray! Then RPG Vice sets Big Boom up for a BIG AX HANDLE! Rocky says the cookies are terrible!

Trent mockingly sends it back to St. Louis before he and Rocky leave. Will the Don Callis Family ruin things for everyone, no matter where they are?

The Megasus cosplays Poison Ivy and Penelope Ford cosplays Harley Quinn, because they’re certainly a dangerous duo. But will Bayne & Ford make everyone #BowDown? Or will “The Babes with the Wrath” make them, well, Feel the Wrath?

The teams sort out, Harley starts against “Harley,” and the two tie up. Ford THROWS Harley down by her hair, mocks her, but Harley is back on her feet. The two tie up again, Ford THROWS Harley by her hair again, and Ford mocks Harley. But Harley TACKLES Ford and rains down fists! Cover, ONE!! Harley headlocks, Ford spins that around, but Harley tags Willow as she powers out. Harley then drops down and Willow CLOBBERS Ford! The fans cheer and Willow runs up to LARIAT again and again in the corner! Willow stops at nine to then short arm LARIAT for TEN! Cover, TWO! Ford survives but Willow drags her around.

Willow tags Harley, they bump Ford off buckles, then Willow sends Harley in for an ELBOW! Harley sends Willow in for the LARIAT! Snapmare and Harley runs, SHOTGUN! Cover, ONE!! Ford shows some grit and she tags Megan! The fans are torn, but Harley says check it! Tag to Willow! The fans fire up as powerhouse meets powerhouse! Willow waistlocks, ducks an elbow, then whips, but Megan reverses. Ford knees Willow but Willow isn’t even bothered. Megan runs up, Willow rolls her up, TWO! Oklahoma Roll, Ford stomps it apart! The fans fire up and Willow tags Harley! Willow & Harley double whip, but Ford & Bayne reverse! But Harley & Willow DOUBLE ENZIGIRI! Then Harley runs, wheelbarrow and SPLASH on Ford! High-ten and Willow kicks Megan. She and Harley reel Megan in, but Megan DOUBLE SUPLEXES first! The fans boo but Ford tags in and goes up top! ARIHARA MOONSAULT on Willow & Harley! The fans fire up and Tailgate goes picture in picture.

Megan & Penelope drag Willow & Harley up, and Megan sends Willow into barriers! Penelope KICKS away on Harley against the apron, then puts her in the ring. Ford covers, TWO! Harley goes to ropes, Ford CHOKES her, and the ref counts. Ford stops at 4, she THROWS Harley down, then puts her in the corner. Tag to Megan, Megan RAMS Harley again and again, then stops as the ref counts. Megan drags Harley up to scoop, stall, and SLAM! Megan soaks up the heat before she CLUBS Harley. Megan and Willow rise up to fire forearms! The fans boo Megan, cheer Willow, and repeat! Willow fires a flurry, the fans fire up again, and Willow runs, but into a forearm! Megan runs, BOOTS, but Willow rebounds to LARIAT! Willow fires up, tags Harley, and Willow sends her in at Megan! But Megan ELBOWS her! And BOOTS Willow! Megan goes up to DOUBLE FLYING LARIAT! Tag to Ford, she goes up, and Megan Electric Chair Lifts Harley! But Harley victory rolls under Doomsday! Megan kicks Harley, runs up, but Harley dodges! Megan POSTS herself and falls outside! Willow CANNONBALLS Megan down!

The fans are fired up again and Harley runs up on Ford! But Ford kicks first! Ford fireman’s carries, and GUT BUSTER DROPS! Cover, TWO!! Harley survives and the fans fire up! Ford is furious, she drags Harley up to scuff her again and again. The fans rally for Harley, she blocks a kick and spins Ford, but Ford fights the lift. Harley ripcords, pump handles, and SAIDOS! The bell rings but we have not even five minutes before the main show! But then FTR just attacks! the fans boo, FTR mugs Knight, and they double whip Knight. Knight goes up and over, ducks under, hot tag to Bailey! He goes up to MISSILE DORPKICK! Then BOOT and BOOT! Knight is back, DOUBLE DROPKICKS on FTR! FTR take swings but into DOUBLE GERMAN SUPLEXES! Then JetSpeed DOUBLE LARIAT FTR up and out! And DOUBLE PLANCHA! Down goes FTR and the fans fire up! Knight high-fives the fans, then Bailey takes Cash around the way to CHOP! Knight ROCKS Dax, repeat! But Cash trips Bailey to CATAPULT him into steel steps!

Dax TOSSES Knight into the crowd! The ref reprimands, but Knight stands to fire forearms on Dax! Knight goes up and FLYING LARIATS Dax! Cash keeps the match alive by refreshing the ring count, and he regroups with Dax, only for Knight to jump off the apron, DOUBLE MISSILE DROPKICK! The fans fire up as Knight puts Dax in the ring. Dax staggers, Knight runs up, SATELLITE- NO, Dax denies that to ELBOW, JAB, and SOUTHPAW LARIAT! The fans boo Dax copying Shingo Takagi, but Tailgate Brawl hits two minutes left! Dax doesn’t care, the match itselfe has 30! FTR DOUBLE SUPLEXES, but Bailey makes the save!

WrestleDream begins with pyro, but the brawl is back in the ring! The fans fire up as Knight dodges Cash, leaps, but into a POWERSLAM! Bailey SUPERKICKS Cash! Dax and Bailey duck ‘n’ dodge, but then Dax feints to PILEDRIVER! Cover, TWO! The fans fire up as this is the first time a kickoff shot match bleeds over into PPV! Dax  goes to the apron and reels Bailey in, but Bailey fights the driver! Bailey BACKDROPS Dax onto the apron, then MOONSAULT KNEE DROPS him! Cash runs up, Bailey jumps over, and ASAI MOONSAULTS FTR down! The fans are thunderous for “A E DUB! A E DUB!” and Bailey puts Dax in.

Bailey climbs up, up, and aims, ULTIMO- NO, Dax rolls away! But Knight tags in! Bailey RANAS, SUPERKICKS, and Knight somersaults to UFO SPLASH! Cover, TWO! Dax survives but the fans fire up with JetSpeed! They double whip Dax, Dax ducks ‘n’ dodges, and Cash drags Bailey out! But Knight SATELLITE DDTS Dax! Cover, Cash breaks it in time! Knight DECKS Cash for it, then goes up the corner. But Stoke is there! The ref gets Stoke to back off, Knight avoids Cash’s cheap shot! he sends Cash into Stoke, then sends Dax into them both! Knight calls to Bailey, but Cash YANKS Bailey down! Gory Especial, GORY BOMB on the apron! Knight DROPKICKS Cash for it! Knight jumps at Dax but Dax catches Knight to step through, SHARPSHOOTER! Dax sits deep on the hold! Knight endures, fights forward, but Dax drags him from the ropes! Knight fights his way forward, and he makes the ROPEBREAK! The fans cheer while Dax lets go in frustration. Dax rises, the fans rally for “JET SPEED! WOOP WOOP!” but Dax puts Knight on the ropes. Cash climbs, but Bailey SHOVES Cash down! Knight ROCKS Dax and he falls back! But Cash trips Bailey!

Knight runs up to ROCK Cash! Knight back suplexes, Cash lands out and Dax pops him up and over! SHATTER MACHINE on Knight!! But Bailey is still up top! ULTIMO WEAPON on Dax!! Stoke is freaking out but St. Louis is loving this! Bailey fires off LIGHTNING KICKS on Cash to ENZIGIRI! Then he goes to the corner, and Knight hurries to hot tag Bailey in! Bailey sees Dax stagger to his feet and the two step up. Bailey CHOPS! Dax CHOPS! Bailey CHOPS again! Dax CHOPS again! The Scapegoat was abandoned yet again when Matt & Nick Jackson cared more about the money than the mission, and it forced Jack to quite literally dig up his past. Will Luchasaurus help Jack get some payback on The Bucks? Or will this jackpot be what saves The Bucks from going broke?

The teams sort out and Jack starts against Matt. St. Louis cheers for Luchasaurus but Jack and Matt step up. Matt talks trash that Jack only has Jack to blame on. The two tie up, Jack powers Matt to the corner, and then he stares Matt down. Matt shoves Jack, the two go again, and they tie up. Jack powers Matt back but Matt puts Jack in the corner. Matt stares Jack down but Jack flips Matt off. The two tie up, Matt and Jack scrap, then Matt pie faces Jack! Jack SLAPS Matt! Matt throat chops Jack! They’re beating down Jurassic Express on behalf of their Callis Family “brothers,” and the fans boo. Josh Alexander ushers The Bucks out of the ring so he, Mark Davis & Lance Archer can keep doing the dirty work!

The fans boo The Bucks for leaving it like this, but WAIT! KENNY OMEGA is here! The Cleaner still owes The Callis Family for what they did to Kota Ibushi, but he does look to The Bucks. Are they really just going to hang Jack out to dry again? Seems so. Kenny fights the Callis Family, but that’s 3v1! Liona puts Lashley on the table, Kaun sends Shelton into barriers, and The Demand mugs Lashley. Then Liona drags Shelton over to bring him up the steps?! GOA decide to OPEN THE GATES!! Shelton lands on Lashley and they break the table!! The fans boo as The Demand stand over Lashley & Shelton. They soak up the heat from St. Louis, then they put MVP back in the ring. The ref checks on MVP, he’s somehow able to continue, but now he’s surrounded.

Ricochet grins but the fans cheer MVP on as he fires hands! MVP DECKS Ricochet, but he still gets mugged by GOA! They CHOKE MVP, then drag him up. They LARIAT SANDWICH, and MVP falls to the mat! Ricochet covers, TWO! MVP is still in this but Ricochet & GOA are just getting started. Ricochet kicks MVP around, then has GOA coordinate. But MVP SLAPS Ricochet down! GOA mugs MVP again, then put him in the corner. Liona RAMS MVP, then GOA sends Ricochet in and he ROCKS MVP! Kaun adds a SPALSH, then Liona adds a SPLASH! And then SHOTGUN RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP COMBO!

The Aussie Arrow has won two, the Sussex County Chicken has won two, and this tiebreaker has the highest stakes of the whole series. But will The Protostar still be the Greatest TNT Champion Ever? Or will Briscoe #ManUp and finally be golden again?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and this fifth match will show us the true Face of TNT!

The bell rings and Don Callis of course joins commentary. Kyle teases the fans with his slow removal of the tearaway pants. The fans chant “DEM BOYS!” for Briscoe and Kyle is annoyed. The two circle, tie up, and they’re in a deadlock. Kyle’s height is his leverage, but the ref counts as they’re in the corner. Kyle lets off, Briscoe steps up, and the two tie up again. The fans tell Callis off while Briscoe wrenches and wristlocks. Kyle wrenches back, but Briscoe rolls. Briscoe slips in and wrenches back, but Kyle rolls to get the armlock. Kyle pushes towards a double wristlock, then hammerlocks, then headlocks for the takeover.

Briscoe keeps his shoulders up, fights to the headscissors, but Kyle moves around. Kyle headstands, pops free, then floats to the headlock. Briscoe again keeps his shoulders up, and fights to his feet. Briscoe powers his way to the headlock, but Kyle powers up and out to RUN Briscoe over! The fans cheer and Kyle flexes, but Briscoe is back on his feet. Briscoe fixes his neck and steps back up to Kyle. They circle, tie up, and Briscoe headlocks. Kyle powers up and out, Briscoe grabs ropes, and Briscoe ELBOWS Kyle to CHOP and CHOP! Briscoe TOSSES Kyle out, then builds speed, but Kyle gets out of the way.

The fans boo but Kyle wags his finger. Kyle takes his time as the ring count starts, and the fans taunt Kyle. Kyle taunts them back, then he goes to the apron. Briscoe eggs Kyle on so Kyle steps in, and the two step up. Kyle KNEES low, CLUBS Briscoe, then soaks up the heat as he runs. But Briscoe LARIATS Kyle up and out! The fans fire up, Briscoe aims, PLANCHA! Down goes Kyle and the fans fire up! Callis scurries away while Briscoe ROCKS Kyle! Briscoe CHOPS Kyle against the barriers, then stalks him around the way. Briscoe CHOPS again, then BITES Kyle’s forehead! Briscoe reels Kyle in and suplexes him to the floor!

Briscoe hurries up to the apron, and the fans cheer along, “BANG BANG!” FOLEY ELBOW DROP! The fans fire up, Briscoe puts the chair in the ring, but the ref puts it aside. The fans boo but then Kyle KNEES Briscoe. Both men go back into the ring, Briscoe runs up, but Kyle BOOTS him! Kyle goes up, but Briscoe UPPERCUTS Kyle! Kyle is back on the floor, and Briscoe claps with the chair. The fans cheer, the chair is set up, and Briscoe runs, but Kyle snatches the chair away! The fans boo Kyle more, but Briscoe still WRECKS Kyle with the dropkick! Briscoe UPPERCUTS Kyle, sets the chair up again, and HEADBUTTS Kyle into taking a seat.

Briscoe fires hands, then runs, and he CANNONBALL TOPES onto Kyle and the chair! Callis again scurries away as Briscoe high-fives fans in the front row. Briscoe drags Kyle up, Mongolian CHOPS, then ROCKS him. Briscoe puts Kyle in the ring, covers, TWO! Briscoe drags Kyle right up to CHOP! Briscoe TOSSES Kyle back out, and he aims from the apron again. Kyle stands, Briscoe runs up, but Kyle ducks the cannonball! Briscoe crash lands and Callis laughs! Kyle grins as he leaves Briscoe behind, then goes back to SUPERKICK! Briscoe falls, Kyle tips the steel steps over, and Kyle grins again as he plots his next move.

Kyle brings Briscoe up and in, lifts, and POWERBOMBS Briscoe on the steps! The fans boo as Kyle flexes and Briscoe writhes. Kyle leaves Briscoe behind to the mercy of the count. The count is 5 of 10 as Briscoe sits up, and Kyle continues to soak up heat. Briscoe is in at 8, Kyle tells St. Louis to shove it, and Kyle JUMP KICKS Briscoe down! And then stomps away on Briscoe again and again! The ref counts, Kyle stops at 4, and the fans boo again. Kyle just drags Briscoe back up, scoops and SLAMS, then mocks the fans as they boo. Kyle watches Briscoe go to the ropes, and he CLUBS Briscoe! Then he CHOKES him!

The fans rally for Briscoe, the ref counts and reprimands Kyle, and Kyle steps off. Kyle waits on Briscoe, but Briscoe rises to CHOP, CHOP, CHOP! Briscoe runs, but into a scoop and MICHINOKU DRIVER! Cover, TWO! Briscoe survives but Kyle just smirks. Callis insults the ref’s counting ability, but Kyle runs corner to corner to forearm SMASH! Then a wrench and BIG back suplex! Cover, TWO! Briscoe stays in this, but Kyle stays on Briscoe with a chinlock. Briscoe endures, the fans rally, and Briscoe rises up. Briscoe fires body shots and forearms, but Kyle fires back! They go forearm for forearm, and the fans cheer Briscoe while booing Kyle!

Kyle fires a flurry of forearms, then he soaks up the heat. Kyle runs, but Briscoe dodges! Kyle dodges and BOOTS! But Briscoe is right up to BOOT! Kyle is right up, DOUBLE BOOTS hit! They both stay up, and then DOUBLE LARIATS turn both men inside-out! The fans fire up as a standing count now begins! They stir at 3 of 10, and Briscoe headbutts the mat to fire up. Both men rise at 6, and Briscoe CHOPS! Kyle fires a forearm, but Briscoe CHOPS again! Briscoe and Kyle go shot for shot, then Briscoe CHOPS and ROCKS on repeat! Briscoe puts Kyle in the corner, stomps a mudhole, and he fires up again!

The fans cheer, but then Kyle puts Briscoe in the corner for fast hands up and down! But then Briscoe turns things around to CHOP! And CHOP! Kyle dodges to CHOP again! Kyle whips, Briscoe FLYING FOREARMS! Briscoe runs up again to ROCK Kyle at the ropes! Briscoe whips, Kyle reverses, BACKDROP but Briscoe lands out! Kyle waistlocks but Briscoe PELES! Briscoe reels Kyle in, FISHERMAN BUSTER! Cover, TWO!! Kyle survives and Callis says no hooking the leg was a bad move by Briscoe. The fans rally, Briscoe rises, and he drags Kyle up. Fireman’s carry, but Kyle slips free! Kyle scoops, but Briscoe slips free!

Briscoe kicks low, underhooks, but Kyle wrenches out! Then he half nelsons, HALF ‘N’ HALF PLEX! Kyle runs, CALF KICK against the ropes! Then the LAST RIDE POWERBOMB!! Cover, TWO!! Briscoe survives and Kyle is beside himself. Briscoe goes to the corner, Kyle shakes his head, and St. Louis rallies again. Kyle runs, GAMANGIRI in the corner! Then a suplex, but Briscoe slips free! Kyle fires elbows, but Briscoe still holds on! Kyle RAMS Briscoe into buckles, runs up, GAMANGIRI! And then he puts Briscoe up top! Kyle climbs, Callis guarantees this will end it! TOP ROPE- NO, Briscoe slips free! And he SHOVES Kyle onto the crossbar!

Briscoe climbs up now, he turns Kyle around, and he HEADBUTTS Kyle again and again! Then Briscoe hooks Kyle up, but Kyle fights the crucifix! Kyle hops down, and ENZIGIRIS! Then Kyle goes back up, has Briscoe on the very top, and SUPER DUPER PLEXES!! Both men are down and the fans fire up again! The standing count returns, as do the chants telling off Callis. Briscoe goes to the outside to stand, but Kyle follows. Kyle aims from the apron, runs up, but Briscoe blocks the Penalty Kick! Briscoe hops up to the apron, but Kyle ENZIGIRIS! And SUPERKICKS! And he reels Briscoe in for the suplex! But Briscoe knees free!

Briscoe reels Kyle in, underhook, APRON JAY DRILLER!!! Both men are down and the fans fire up again! The ref checks both men, they’re somehow able to continue, so a ring count begins. Both men stir at 3 of 10, and Briscoe rises at 4. Kyle checks on his own arms, but Briscoe gets Kyle up and into the ring at 7. Briscoe goes to the corner and climbs up. The fans fire up as Briscoe vows to end this! FROGGY-BOW FLOPS as Kyle moves! The fans rally as Briscoe hurries to the other corner. Kyle drags himself up with the ropes, and he runs in again, GAMANGIRI! Then he reels Briscoe in and hoists him up top.

Kyle does his best to climb, but Briscoe fires body shots! Briscoe BITES Kyle’s forehead, then UPPERCUTS him! Kyle leans back onto the ropes, SUPER FROGGY-BOW!? Kyle falls to the apron then the floor, and Briscoe goes back up! SUPER DUPER FROGGY-BOW!! The fans are thunderous, Briscoe puts Kyle in, and Briscoe climbs up top again! FROGGY-BOW!!! Cover, TWO!?!? Kyle survives the Froggy-Bow hattrick and no one can believe it! Briscoe points to the sky, and he calls his shot on this one! Briscoe reels Kyle back in, but Kyle drops down to victory roll! TWO, and Briscoe rolls Kyle up, TWO!

Kyle avoids Briscoe, suplexes, but Briscoe slips out! Backslide, TWO!! Underhooks! But Kyle trips Briscoe to jackknife bridge, TWO! Kyle swings, but into the EXPLODER! Underhooks and the fans fire up! Callis freaks out, but Kyle fights the lift! Kyle wrenches free, clinches, and SNAP HALF ‘N’ HALF! But Briscoe’s right back up!? LARIAT! Underhooks, and JAY DRILLER!! But Briscoe can’t cover! He has to crawl over, ROPEBREAK!!! A single finger is all that Kyle needed to survive, and it’s perhaps all he could muster! “This is Awesome!” as Briscoe drags Kyle up again. Briscoe hoists Kyle up top backwards, then CHOPS him on the back!

Briscoe torture racks, but Kyle grabs the ref! Kyle gets free, then ducks a shot to shove Briscoe at the ref! LOW BLOW!! And BRAINBUSTER!! The fans boo but Kyle covers, TWO!??! Briscoe survives and shocks Kyle! Callis is just as upset, but the fans are electric! Kyle runs up, PENALTY KICK!! Cover, TWO!! Kyle drags Briscoe up, scoops, and LAWN DART!! Then another GAMANGIRI!! Kyle puts Briscoe up top, fires up, and TOP ROPE BRAINBUSTER!!! Briscoe flounders away, Kyle crawls to the cover, and Kyle wins!!

It was a shocker at All Out in the Fatal 4 Way, but The Galaxy’s Greatest finally grabbed this title for her own. But TIMELESS Toni isn’t finished with her or this championship! Not until she’s gotten to the heart of what it truly means to live. Is this where the spotlight finally fades? Or can it eclipse even the brightest star in the cosmos?

The bell rings and the fans are dueling as the two stare down. Kris and Toni circle, tie up, and they go around. Kris and Toni go around and around, on ropes, then a corner. The ref counts, Kris backs off and the fans applaud. The two tie up again, and Kris wrenches to wristlock, then hammerlock. Toni headlocks for the takeover, but Kris rolls to a cover, ONE! Kris fights up, pries free, hammerlocks then headlocks for a takeover of her own. Toni headscissors back but Kris kips free. The fans rally and duel again as the two reset. They tie up, waistlock, switch, and Kris snapmares to cover, ONE! Kris facelocks, Toni wrenches and headlocks.

Kris pries at the hold, rolls, and makes it a cover, TWO! Toni holds on, Kris fights up, and Kris wrenches free to headlock in return. Toni powers up and out, Kris goes up and over, and Kris arm-drags! Toni headscissors right back and the fans applaud this technical masterclass. Kris kips free, runs up, and slips around to trip Toni. Kris headlocks, Toni fights up, and the fans rally. Kris wrenches Toni, Toni rolls and kips up, but Kris sits her down. Toni rolls, kips up again, but Kris sits her down again. Kris puts on the pressure but Toni rolls through the wristlock to wristlock in return. Kris rolls, cartwheels, and trips Toni again!

The fans applaud and Kris soaks it up. Toni stands up, storms up, and headlocks. Kris powers up and out, but Toni RUSN her over! Kris kips up and flexes! Toni is annoyed, runs, but Kris dodges to then RUN Toni over! Kris flexes again and the fans cheer more. Things keep moving, Toni drops down then bypasses Kris to RUN her over! Toni flexes and the fans cheer! Toni runs again, and she HIP ATTACKS Kris off the apron! The fans fire up and Toni goes out after Kris. Toni reels Kris in, but Kris stops the tornado to trip Toni! Kris has the legs to CATAPULT Toni into the apron! Toni sputters, Kris goes up, and Kris CLUBS Toni!

Kris sets up, MOONSAULT PRESS! The fans fire up and Toni is down! Kris revels in the cheers before she fetches Toni. The fans rally, Kris fireman’s carries, and Kris walks up the steps. Kris DUMPS Toni into the ring, then slingshots for the SENTON! Almost a leg drop really, but Kris covers, TWO! Toni survives and the fans rally up again. Kris stands Toni up to scoop her, SLAM her, and then runs to SLIDING LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Toni is still in this but Kris is still on her with body scissors. Toni endures, the fans rally, and Kris turns Toni over to a cover, ONE! Kris still has the scissors locked on, but Toni fires elbows!

Kris goes from leg scissors to a SLEEPER, but Toni fights around. Kris drags Toni up, but Toni fires elbows. Toni runs, but Kris LARIATS her down! Cover, TWO! Toni toughs it out but Kris stands her up. Kris whips Toni to a corner, runs up, but Toni BOOTS her! Toni runs up, but into a BIG back suplex! The fans fire up as Kris VADER BOMBS! Cover, TWO! Kris is frustrated but Toni is just showing why she’s a four-time Women’s Champion. Kris steps on Toni, goes up the corner, TWISTING VADER! Cover, TWO! Toni survives again, so Kris HAMMERS away on her! The fans rally as Kris looms over Toni.

Kris drags Toni up, reels her in, and the fans cheer as Toni snap suplexes first! Kris flounders, the fans rally again, and Toni rises. Toni storms back up to ROCK Kris! And ROCK her again, and again, and again! Toni fires a flurry, then she stops as the ref counts. Toni whips, Kris reverses, but Toni ducks the kick! Toni shoves Kris, SKY- NO, Kris fights free to SOBAT, BOOT, and CRAVAT FACEBUSTER! The fans fire up with Kris, and she runs corner to corner for an ELBOW! Kris goes side to side but Toni avoids the knee! TORNADO DDT! Kris sputters, the fans fire up, and Toni underhooks for the TIGER DRIVER! Cover, TWO!

Kris survives and Toni is beside herself. Toni goes to a corner, paces around, and the fans rally again. Toni drags Kris up, reels her in, but Kris REAR HEADBUTTS down low! Kris runs, but Toni sidesteps to KICK Kris in the butt! Toni then tucks Kris in, HAMMERLOCK PACKAGE BUSTER! Cover, TWO! Kris survives, flounders, but Toni runs to HIP- NO! Kris dodges the hips to then Electric Chair Lift, and SLAM! Kris rolls through, KOJI KLUTCH!! Toni endures, reaches out, and the fans rally up! Toni kicks, and kicks, and makes the ROPEBREAK! Kris lets go quickly, and Toni crawls to a corner.

Kris gets under Toni for the Electric Chair but Toni slips free! TCM CLUTCH!! With body scissors! The fans duel between Toni and Kris as Kris crawls around, reaches out, ROPEBREAK! Toni lets go quickly now and Kris coughs for breath. Toni drags Kris up, but Kris BACKDROPS, only for Toni to sunset flip! Kris rolls through, has the legs, and the arms! SPIDER CRAB CLUTCH! But Toni gets a leg free and she kicks Kris again and again! Kris lets go, staggers back, and falls into a cradle! TWO!! Kris gets around, BLUE THUNDER BOMB! Then a flip over and fisherman, CRADLE DRIVER!! Cover, TWO!!

The fans fire up while both women are down! Kris and Toni stir, and Toni crawls away to the ropes. The fans rally back up and Toni flounders a bit. Kris crawls over to Toni, they both throw hands, and then Toni CHOPS! Kris SUPERKICKS! Toni runs up, tilt-o-whirls, but Kris blocks it! Kris tucks Toni in, but Toni rolls to send Kris into buckles! Time for her close-up! SWEET HIP MUSIC!! Toni drags Kris up and in, STORM ZERO, BUT KRIS HEADSTANDS!? DROPKICK!! Kris drags Toni to the drop zone, then goes up, AREA 451!! Cover, TWO!! Toni survives the splash and Kris is beside herself!

The fans rally as Kris gut wrenches, but Toni slips free, SNAP GERMAN! Then STORM ZERO HITS!! Cover, TWO?!?! Kris survives and Toni is spiraling! Toni is furious with herself more than anything, and she vows to end this! The fans fire up and Toni brings Kris back up. But Kris rolls Toni, rolls through, and SEATBELT!! TWO!!! Toni escapes this time, but then Kris gets around to SNAP GERMAN! But Toni’s right up! SNAP GERMAN of her own! Kris is right up, DISCUS LARIAT!! Then a gut wrench, STATURDAY NIGHT FEVER!! Please say hello to your longest-reigning, greatest TBS Champion of all time, Ultimo Mone!” The fans are torn between cheers and jeers, but Mone says since she’s the Greatest Of All Time, she wants to see who is next to ride the money Train. Who is ready to put their gold up against Mone’s? She’s all smiles until MINA SHIRAKAWA is here!

The fans cheer as the (Interim) ROH Women’s TV Champion is here, and she’s ready to give Mercedes another run for her money! But will the Face of TBS be #MinaNow? They end up in the ROPEBREAK, and Mina lets go. Mone hobbles out of the ring and the fans rally behind Mina. Mina shimmies and shakes, and even mocks the CEO dance! The fans cheer, but Mone storms back in, only for Mina to dodge and slide to do her signature dance! Mone is annoyed, and she grabs Mina’s hair! But Mina KICKS and victory rolls, TWO! Both women stand, Mone ducks ‘n’ dodges to go up and FLYING ARM-DRAG!

Mone rolls through, but Mina blocks the crossface! Mina slips out, whips, but Mone reverses. Mina tilt-o-whirls to clinch and RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! The fans fire up and Mina clamps onto Mone’s legs. Mina steps through, grabs the arms, and she pulls Mone back, back, and into the ROMERO SPECIAL! The fans fire up as Mone endures! Mina then sets Mone down, does the dance, and STOMPS the legs! Mina eggs Mone on, then BUZZSAWS and HEEL KICKS! Mone blocks the next kick to drag Mina down! CROSSFACE! Mina endures, the fans duel, and Mina fights around! Mone pulls Mina back, says Mina will never win the TBS title, but Mina keeps fighting!

The fans rally, but Mone kicks the ropes so she can roll Mina away! BACKSTABBER! Then a gut wrench! CIPHER UTAKI! Cover, TWO! Mina survives and the fans rally. Mone mocks the fans, then goes back to Mina. Mone drags Mina up, cravats and snapmares, then KNEES Mina in the back again and again. Mone has the motorcycle stretch but the fans rally as Mina endures. Mina fights, turns, and fires body shots. Mone KNEES low, whips, and runs in. Mone blocks boots, ROCKS Mina, and has her in the ropes for the STOCK DROP! Cover, TWO! Mina survives and Mone is annoyed again. Mone drags Mina up as the fans duel again.

Mone goes up, up, and FROG SPLASH ONTO KNEES! Mina cradles Mone, rolls through, and snap suplexes! Mone winces in pain and the fans fire up! Mina rises, she brings Mone around, and she ROCKS Mone!

Mone fires a forearm, Mina fires back! The shots go back and forth, Mina fires a flurry, then she runs, but into a DROPKICK! Mone runs, but Mina DROPKICKS her back! The fans fire up and Mina feels it! Mina ties Mone’s legs up, CLOVERHOLD BACKSTABBER! Mone writhes and flounders to a corner and the fans fire up. Mina runs in, Mone dodges, but then Mina dodge! Mina blocks the kick to HOTSHOT the leg in the ropes! Mina then sweeps the legs, drags Mone around, and the fans fire up for the TORNILLO PLANCHA! Cover, TWO! Mone is still in this but Mina stays cool. Mina goes to the corner and the fans cheer as she climbs.

Mina is up top, but Mone stands. Mina FLYING SLINGBLADES! Cover, TWO!! Mone survives again but Mina just calls her next shot! The fans rally as Mina drags Mone up, reels her in with the dragon sleeper, and GLAMOROUS-  NO, Mone slips free to BACKSTABBER again! And then Gory Especial, but Mina fights free! Mina KICKS a leg, then TORNADO- NO, Mone slips free! But Mina dragon sleepers! GLAMOROUS DRIVER MINA!! Cover, TWO!!! Mone survives, but Mina hurries to step through! FIGURE FOUR!! Mina and Mone SLAP each other back and forth! The fans fire up as Mina SLAPS Mone down and thrashes the leglock! Mone endures, turns things over, and they’re in the ropes again! The ref counts, Mina sets Mone free from the hold, and they both go to the apron. Mine drags Mone up and the fans rally. Mone CODE BREAKERS Mina first! then APRON METEORA! Mina sputters back into the ring and Mone pushes her to a cover, TWO!! Mina survives again and Mina is desperate and angry! Mone drags Mina to the drop zone, goes up the corner, and METEORA! Cover, TWO!! Mina is right back up! Mone runs up, SUNSET BUCKLE BOMB!

The fans are torn as Mone revs the engine. METEORA only gets buckle! ROLLING ELBOW from Mina! ROLLING ELBOW again! And then a BLINDSIDE BUZZSAW! The fans fire up and Mina aims, URAKEN!! Mone falls in a heap, Mina steps through, FIGURE FOUR!! “WOO~!” Mina sits Mone up, and has a cravat added to the hold! Mina SMACKS away on Mone’s face, but Mone powers free! Cover, TWO!! The desperate cover doesn’t finish it, but Mone YANKS Mina into ropes! Then uses the ropes to stack! The ref sees that and stops the count! The fans cheer while Mone argues with the ref! Mina runs up, but Mone dodges!

Mina stops from hitting the ref, but now Mone runs in! Mina dodges, Mone avoids hitting the ref! But Mone goes up to block his view, and she CLAWS Mina’s eyes! Roll up, and deep, TWO!! But into the STATEMENT MAKER CROSSFACE!! Mina endures, fights around, and she spots ropes! Mone kicks off those, Mina makes it a cover! TWO, and Mina victory rolls, has the legs, but Mone cradles! TWO!! Mone blocks a kick, hooks Mina up, MONEY MAKER!! Cover, ROPEBREAK!?!?? Mone is absolutely shocked as Mina touches the rope by a finger! The fans are thunderous for Mina and Mone looks ready to cry! She’s never had to work this hard and it upsets her.

Mone grits her teeth, turns temper tantrum into anger, and she looms over Mina. Mone drags Mina up, tells her she will NEVER have the TBS title! But Mina RAMS Mone into buckles! Mone THROWS Mina into buckles! But Mina fights the Gory Especial to RAM Mone again and again! The fans fire up, Mina roars, and she runs up, but into a backslide!! AND WITH ROPES!! MONE WINS!!!

AEW World Tag Team Championships: Brodido VS Kazuchika Okada & Konosuke Takeshita!

As if tonight wasn’t dripping with gold, we see the AEW World Tag Team Champions defend their gold against the AEW Unified Champion and the NEW IWGP World Heavyweight Champion! Brody King & Bandido vow to never stop fighting, no matter who and no matter where, but can the King of Death & The Outlaw avoid another defeat? Or will The Rainmaker & The Alpha take the Don Callis Family on a Two Man Power Trip?

The introductions are made, the tag titles are raised, and we see who wins this shootout of champions!

Callis again joins commentary while the fans bark for Brody. The teams sort out and Callis still downplays the dysfunction between his guys. Okada starts against Bandido and they circle. Bandido offers a handshake, but Okada just flips him off! The fans are torn, but the two tie up. Okada’s height is his leverage to put Bandido on the ropes, and then Okada does his classic fake out. Okada and Bandido reset, tie up, and Okada again powers Bandido to ropes. Bandido turns things around, fakes the chop, and then aims his finger gun. Okada runs up, Bandido dodges to SOBAT, KNEE, but Okada avoids the superkick!

Okada whips, Bandido tilt-o-whirls and arm-drags! Okada SWATS the dropkick to ELBOW DROP Bandido on the back! The fans rally but Okada brings Bandido over. Tag to Konosuke and the fans rally for Bandido. Konosuke throws a punch but Bandido just stares Konosuke down. The fans rally, Bandido and Konosuke fire forearms! Bandido KNEES low, then whips, but Konosuke reverses. Bandido rolls, comes back, and whips. Konosuke reverses, Bandido ducks ‘n’ dodges to tilt-o-whirl RANA! The fans fire up as Bandido wrenches, tag to Brody, and the fans bark. Brody CLUBS Konosuke’s arm, then Brodido double whips to DOUBLE ELBOW!

Brodido then sits Konosuke up, Bandido runs, basement DROPKICK! The fans fire up and Brody brings Konosuke around. Konosuke fires forearms but Brody fires back. They go back and forth, Brody CHOPS and ROLLING ELBOWS! Konosuke falls in a heap and the fans bark it up. Brody drags Konosuke up to Canadian Rack, but Konosuke slips free! Konosuke shoves Brody for Okada to sucker punch! But Brody DECKS Okada! Konosuke BOOTS Brody! Konosuke whips, Brody reverses, but the TAKESHITA LINE hits! The fans fire up and Konosuke watches Brody. Brody clutches his shoulder, Konosuke tags Okada.

The fans tell Callis off while Okada stands Brody up. Okada UPPERCUTS, Brody CHOPS, Okada kicks low! Okada fires forearms, the ref counts, and Okada stops at 4. Okada runs corner to corner, BACK ELBOWS, then he stalks Brody along the ropes. Okada brings Brody around and hits a NECKBREAKER! Okada then BLASTS Bandido! The fans boo the cheap shot but Okada goes back to Brody. Konosuke steps on Brody’s head, Okada tags Konosuke in, and Konosuke brings Brody up. Konosuke literally has Brody on the ropes as he fires boxing elbows! Brody sputters, the fans rally, but Konosuke tags Okada back in.

Okada eggs Brody on, scuffs him, and Bandido rallies for Brody. Brody rises up as Okada slaps him around, and Brody CHOPS! Konosuke tags in but Brody BOOTS him! And CHOPS Okada! Brody CHOPS, CHOPS, and CHOPS! Okada kicks low! Konosuke kicks low! They both whip, but Brody DOUBLE LARIATS! The fans fire up with Brody and he waits on someone to get up. Konosuke runs in but Brody TOSSES him out! Okada runs up, Brody pops him up and LARIATS! Tag to Bandido and he goes up top! TORNILLO CROSSBODY! The fans fire up and Bandido then handsprings and goes Matrix to get around! Ripcord whip and DROPKICK!

Konosuke is back but Bandido DROPKICKS him, too! Brody joins in, and he gives Bandido the boost to go up, up, and ARIHARA MOONSAULT! Down go Okada & Konosuke and the fans are all fired up! Bandido shows finger guns, Brody goes out to fetch Okada and ROCK him with a forearm. Bandido brings Konosuke around to RUN him into barriers! Brody does the same to Okada! Bandido makes Konosuke take a seat, Brody does the same with Okada. Brodido coordinates, they bark it up with St. Louis, and Brody sends Bandido in at Okada, POETRY IN MOTION against barriers! Brody runs at Konosuke to SPLASH him against railing!

The fans fire up as that railing bends! Brody puts Konosuke in, the fans cheer on “BRO-DI-DO!” as they get Konosuke up. FOREARM! SUPERKICK! CHOP! MULE KICK! Brody runs for a SLIDING LARIAT! Bandido runs, wheelbarrow and GOURD BUSTER! Bandido says today is the day! The fans are thunderous as Bandido finally gets Brody to Macarena! But Okada CLOBBERS them both! Then a FLAPJACK for Bandido! Okada THRWOS Bandido into Brody, then sends Brody into the ALPHA ELBOW! Brody flops out of the ring, the fans boo, but Okada does his dirty bird macarena! The fans are torn, but Okada drags Bandido up.

Okada wrenches and CLUBS Bandido, the fans chant, “F OKADA!” Okada wrenches Bandido’s arm, tags Konosuke in, and Konosuke CLUBS Bandido’s bad arm. Bandido flounders but Konosuke steps on him. The ref counts, since they’re in the ropes, and Konosuke steps off. Konosuke drags Bandido up, wrenches the arm, hammerlocks, and he RAMS Bandido into the corner! Konosuke then drags Bandido up, hammerlocks the bad arm again, and RAMS Bandido into another corner! The fans rally for Bandido but Konosuke drags him over. Konosuke argues with the ref, and Okada drags Bandido out of the ring so he can hammerlock and POST him!

The fans boo but Okada plays innocent. The ref keeps Brody back, and Okada puts Bandido back into the ring. Then Okada tags in and slingshot SENTONS! Okada taunts Brody with a grin, then he goes back to Bandido. Okada tags Konosuke in, Konosuke pushes Bandido over to put the bad arm in another hammerlock. Bandido endures, the fans rally up, but Konosuke leans on Bandido to keep him down. Bandido still crawls, reaches out, and fights to the ROPEBREAK! The fans cheer, but Konosuke SNAP LOCKS before he lets go. Tag to Okada, Konosuke BLASTS Brody, and Okada drags Bandido up.

Konosuke THROWS Brody into railing while Okada SLAMS Bandido! Standard formula has Okada go up top, and he MACHO ELBOW DROPS! Okada winds up, and the fans already boo knowing it’s the Rainmaker MIDDLE FINGER~! Konosuke SUPER SENTONS to take the spotlight! Okada keeps the finger up and Konosuke says okay, that’s for him, huh? Konosuke grabs the finger, but Bandido CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS! Konosuke kicks low,  he and Okada double whip, but Bandido BOOTS Konosuke! Okada waistlockis to keep Bandido from Brody! Bandido breaks free to SHOTGUN Okada! Then he dodges Okada, hot tag to Brody!

Callis panics as Brody CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS away! SAIDO for Okada! Konosuke CLAWS eyes, runs, then ducks ‘n’ dodges, but into a BLACKHOLE SLAM! The fans fire up and Okada runs up, but into Brody’s fireman’s carry! CORNER DEATH VALLEY onto Konosuke! The fans fire up and bark with Brody, and here comes a CANNONBALL! Two-for-one special and Brody covers Okada, TWO! The fans rally, Brody drags Okada up and hoists him to the top rope. Brody CHOPS, then he CLUBS away on Okada. Brody brings Okada up, but Okada CLAWS Brody’s eyes! Brody staggers back, Okada leaps, but Brody gets under!

Brody kicks low, reels Okada in, but Okada fights the lift. Okada Alabama Lifts?! REVERSE NECKBREAKER! Both men are down and the fans fire up! Brody and Okada stir as a standing count begins, and both men crawl. Hot tags to Konosuke and Bandido! Konosuke BOOTS, Bandido BOOTS, then Bandido blocks! DRAGON SCREW! Bandido hurries to tie the legs up, but Konosuke BOOTS free! Bandido kicks low, runs, and hops on, CODE BLUE! Cover, TWO!! The fans are thunderous as all four men are down! The fans hope they “FIGHT FOREVER!” but then they boo as Callis checks Okada. The Jackal keeps it surprisingly clean as he goes back to commentary. Bandido brings Konosuke up, reels him in, and gut wrenches, but Konosuke slips free! Bandido clutches the bad arm, Konosuke mocks him, and he wrenches that bad arm to CLUB the arm! And CLUB it again! The fans boo but Konosuke rips the tape away to CLUB and YANK the bad arm! Another wrench, but Bandido fires a forearm! And another! And another! Konosuke just takes them, even the CHOPS!

Konosuke winds up, Bandido dodges, POP-UP RANA!! Cover, TWO!! Konosuke escapes, to POWER DRIVE KNEE!! The fans fire up as Konosuke vows to end this now. Konosuke drags Bandido up, grins, and he brings the kneepad down! The fans rally up as Konosuke aims, but Okada tags in! No “Wagamama” and Konosuke is annoyed. Okada ripcords, RAIN- NO, victory roll, STOMP 182!! Bandido crawls, hot tag to Brody! Konosuke runs up, but Brody TOSSES him out! Okada runs up, into a BOOT! Brody ducks a shot to HANGING SLEEPER! Brody drops Konosuke, then Bandido builds speed. BOOSTED TOPE!

Brody roars, but then even he falls over, and St. Louis gives this a standing ovation!

Callis is so panicked, he leaves commentary to shout at his team! The four men stir, the fans cuss out Callis, and Brody CHOPS away on Okada and Konosuke again! Brody runs, but into a DROPKICK KNEE COMBO! Then Okada BOOTS Bandido, Konosuke BOOTS Bandido, and they fire forearms! Okada fireman’s carries for the DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! Then he sets Bandido up for Konosuke’s WAGAM- NO, Bandido dodges! BOOT on Okada, SUPERKICK on Konosuke! But Okada picks Bandido up! Bandido BOOTS Konosuke! Okada ripcords, but Bandido ducks, RAINMAKER hits Konosuke!!

The fans are thunderous and Okada… is grinning as he “apologizes!” But then Bandido torture racks, X KNEE!! Okada flounders to the ropes, Bandido deals a new hand, and BLACKJACK 21- NO! The bad arm won’t let him! Brody is back, though, and he fireman’s carries! LANDSLIDE?!? “NEVER STOP FIGHTING!” Okada is on the ropes, Brodido both run, and Brody DIVES to take out Konosuke! Bandido finishes the BLACKJACK 21!!! Cover, BRODIDO WINS!!

Callis is furious, but that dysfunction he was ignoring is just the thing that blew up in his face! Bandido & Brody even bring in the young fan with the Bandido mask to celebrate this great moment! A moment this Bandidocito will never forget, that’s for sure! And yes, they Macarena! The King of Death & The Outlaw survived two of the best singles wrestlers in the world today, will anyone ever take these titles from them? As for Okada and Konosuke, will everything (not) be alright for the Don Callis Family?

 

Backstage interview with Toni Storm.

The Timeless One looks half dead slumped in a corner while Renee Paquette says that tag title match was insane, and what an incredible show so far. But to her guest, Renee brings up Toni’s unfortunate loss in a great match with Kris Statlander. Toni’s not the better woman on this night, but where does she go from here? Toni is all spaced out, but then Mina steps in! Mina kneels by her best friend, and Toni says they both lost everything. Mina says no, not everything. They have each other! Toni comes back to life as Mina helps her to her feet. The best friends with benefits hug it out, could there be a new story in their future?

 

AEW World Championship: Hangman Page VS Samoa Joe!

The Cowboy has time and again bared his soul, so he does not shy away from how it wasn’t just him but everyone together that finally freed this title from the Death Riders’ death grip. However, it was also very confusing and upsetting for the Samoan Submission Specialist to boil things down to Hangman owing Joe, and Hangman never having beat Joe 1v1. This title match is not being given out of obligation but out of deservingness and respect. But will Hangman win Joe’s respect while holding onto the gold? Or will Joe truly be back on top of the world?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who is truly the best in AEW!

The fans fire up with the bell and the two circle. They feel things out, tie up, and Joe puts Hangman in a corner. The ref counts, Joe lets off cleanly, and the fans sing, “Joe is Gonna Kill~ You!” Joe says it’s true. Hangman circles with Joe again, and they tie up. Joe SHOVES Hangman away, and Joe flexes. Hangman and Joe reset, feel out the knuckle lock, and Hangman wrenches to top wristlock. Hangman and Joe go around, Joe pulls hair, then he wrenches again. Joe headlocks, Hangman powers up, but Joe holds on tight! Hangman wrenches his way out, headlocks, but Joe powers up and out. They RAM shoulders but neither man falls.

The fans are torn and both men talk a bit of trash. Hangman runs, but Joe CLOBBERS him! Joe smiles as Hangman bails out and the fans fire up. Joe eggs Hangman on, “It ain’t levels, it’s leagues! There’s leagues to this s*it!” Hangman shrugs that off and storms back in. The fans rally as the two tie up, and Hangman waistlocks to trip Joe. Joe kicks Hangman away, avoids the sliding lariat, but Hangman comes back with a WHEEL KICK! The fans fire up and Hangman fires hands! Hangman CHOPS and ROCKS Joe in the corner! Hangman whips, Joe reverses, but Hangman goes up and over. Hangman builds sped, but Joe puts him on the apron!

Hangman ROCKS Joe first, then has the arm for a HANGING ARMBAR! The fans cheer, the ref counts, and Hangman lets go at 4. Joe staggers away and Hangman hurries in. Hangman CHOPS, Joe goes to a corner, and Hangman CHOPS again. Hangman fires forearms, the fans rally, and Hangman whips corner to corner. Joe reverses, but Hangman jumps the sweep to DROPKICK! Cover, but they’re in the ropes. Hangman is showing a new side to his skillset but he still needs to watch his ring awareness. Joe and Hangman CHOP back and forth, Joe HEADBUTTS and whips, but Hangman KICKS Joe!

Hangman runs, but Joe ELBOWS him down! The fans fire up while Joe catches his breath. Joe looms over Hangman, then waits on him to sit up. Joe JABS, JABS, JABS, then RIDGE HANDS Hangman down. Joe KICKS Hangman in the back, then stalks Hangman to the ropes. Joe kicks Hangman to the floor, goes out to stand him up, and Joe RAMS Hangman into the apron! Joe then whips Hangman hard into the railing! Joe takes a chair, sits it up, and brings Hangman around. Joe SMACKS Hangman off the chair, then makes him take a seat, all to BOOT him down! The fans rally and duel while Joe refreshes the ring count.

Joe drags Hangman up, puts him back in the ring, then goes to the corner. But Hangman triangle jump LARIATS! Joe falls to the apron then the floor, and Hangman PLANCHAS! Joe staggers into barriers, and Hangman climbs up! But Joe gets away so no Arihara here. Joe hurries back in and goes after Hangman with forearms and HEADBUTTS! Hangman goes to the apron, Joe runs up, but Hangman DUMPS him out! Hangman hurries up top again, for the ARIHARA MOONSAULT! Joe does the Nope and Hangman tumbles down! The fans fire up, and Hangman is back up! SHOTGUN! The fans rally and duel while the ref checks both men.

Hangman rises, a bit of blood in his teeth but he puts Joe in the ring. Joe goes to a corner, Hangman fires back up, and he runs corner to corner, but URENAGE! Joe sits Hangman down and he storms around. Hangman goes to the corner, Joe scrubs his boot on Hangman’s face, then goes side to side, BOOT WASH! Hangman sputters, the fans rally up, and Joe drags Hangman up. Joe snapmares Hangman, then clamps on the motorcycle stretch! Hangman endures, the fans rally up, and Hangman stands. Hangman fights free, runs, but into a KITCHEN SINK KNEE! Joe looms over Hangman, then CLUBS him in the shoulder!

Joe clamps onto Hangman with a chinlock and the fans rally as Hangman endures. Hangman turns and rises, and he fires body shots. Hangman runs, but into an atomic drop! Joe runs and BOOTS Hangman down! Then SENTONS! Joe grins and covers, TWO! Hangman is tougher than that but Joe is somewhere between annoyed and amused. Joe looms over Hangman, drags him up, but Hangman CHOPS! And CHOPS! And then CHOPS again! Hangman fires up, runs, but into a SNAP POWERSLAM! Cover, TWO! The fans fire up and Joe nods. Joe paces, he scuffs Hangman, and he eggs Hangman on. Hangman sits up, and Joe SLAPS him!

The fans rally and duel as Joe CHOPS and JABS Hangman, but Hangman steps into the shots! Hangman fires in return, and they go back and forth! Hangman CHOPS, Joe CHOPS, repeat! The fans “WOO~” with every CHOP, then Joe winds up! Hangman dodges to CHOP, CHOP, CHOP! Hangman winds up, the fans fire up, but Joe JABS! Hangman ENZIGIRIS! Joe goes to the apron, Hangman BOOTS him down, then he goes up again!

Joe hurries back into the ring, but Hangman adjusts course, MOONSAULT! Not the cleanest hit but he still covers, TWO! The fans rally up, Hangman stands Joe up, and Hangman fires forearm after forearm! The fans rally up more as Hangman goes to Alabama Lift. Joe fights that with Kawada Kicks! And a POWERBOMB! High stack, TWO, but into an STF! The fans rally as Hangman endures, only for Joe to shift to a full CROSSFACE! Hangman still endures,  then reaches out, but Joe gets the free arm! RINGS OF SATURN! Hangman endures, and he reaches out to the ROPEBREAK! Joe lets go at 3 of 5, and he watches Hangman closely.

The fans rally as Hangman goes to a corner. Joe stands Hangman up, hoists him up top, and he tucks Hangman in. The fans duel as Hangman CLUBS that hold off. Joe CHOPS Hangman in return! Joe climbs up now, but Hangman still resists the lift! Hangman fires body shots, then fires hands! Hangman CHOPS, CHOPS, and CHOPS! The dueling continues as Hangman adjusts. Hangman goes up and over to SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB! Cover, TWO!! Joe survives and Hangman is a bit stunned. The fans rally again and Hangman rises up. Hangman and Joe stand, and Hangman goes to Alabama Lift! Joe stops that with more Kawada Kicks!

But Hangman tells Joe to bring it! Hangman fires a flurry of forearms, but spins into a COQUINA- NO, Hangman drops to victory roll! TWO!! Joe and Hangman are up, and Joe puts Hangman on the apron! Hangman BOOTS Joe, slingshots, BUCK- NO, Joe ducks to COQUINA CLUTCH!! Joe drags Hangman down into the body scissors! The fans rally as hard as they can as Hangman turns red! Hangman is fading! The ref checks, and Hangman finds that second wind! The fans fire up as Hangman reaches out in front of him! ROPEBREAK! The fans cheer and Joe lets go in frustration, but he keeps his eyes on Hangman in the corner.

Joe storms up on Hangman as fans duel again. Joe puts Hangman up top, HEADBUTTS again and again, then he tucks Hangman in. MUSCLE- NO, Hangman springs free! And Alabama Lifts! DEADEYE!! Cover, TWO!! Joe survives and the fans are thunderous! Hangman shakes his arms out and the fans rally up! BUCKSHOT LARIAT! Joe stays up!? Hangman reloads, BUCKSHOT LARIAT!! And then a third BUCKSHOT LARIAT!!! Cover, HANGMAN WINS!

Winner: Hangman Page, by pinfall (still AEW World Champion)

It took a lot more from both men than most, but that’s why one is a former world champion, and the other is THE world champion! Hangman finally has his 1v1 victory over Samoa Joe, and surely this proves he’s not a fraud, not a pretender, and not a paper champion! The Opps walk out here to help Joe to his feet and the fans cheer. Joe shows St. Louis respect, and then Hangman and Joe show each other respect with a handshake and hug. The fans cheer again, and Joe raises Hangman’s hand in victory. But then Joe LARIATS Hangman, and THE OPPS JOIN IN!? Shibata and Hobbs beat up on Hangman, there is no respect here!

The fans are shocked, but Joe holds up the world title to say Hangman is still not worthy! Joe then CLOBBERS Hangman with the belt!! Then Hobbs stands Hangman up, puts him on the top rope, and the fans cuss Joe out, but that doesn’t change anything because Joe tucks Hangman in! MUSCLE BUSTER onto the belt!! The fans boo but Joe has an evil grin on his face. Joe says the world will be his! But while Joe literally steps on Hangman, will The Opps keep their gold from The Hurt Syndicate?

I Quit Match: Jon Moxley w/ Marina Shafir VS Darby Allin!

After months of The Maniac putting not just the Relentless One but the entirety of AEW through Hell, it’s time for him to suffer the same. Knowing these two, this is surely going to be the most brutal match in AEW history, if not in all of wrestling history. Moxley vows to finally break Darby once and for all, but is that even possible? Or can you not break what is already broken?

The bell rings and the fans fire up as Darby stares at Moxley while Moxley talks trash. The fans chant, “We Are Nervous!” because no one knows what to expect. But Darby brings out that AEW banner like he did on Wednesday, promising to wrap it around Moxley’s neck and choke him out. Darby sets it down on top of the AEW logo in the ring, and the fans chant for “A E DUB! A E DUB!” Moxley just steps all over the banner! So Darby SHOTGUNS him for it! And then builds speed to DIVE! Down goes Moxley and the fans fire up! Darby SMACKS Moxley off railing, then fires off hands. Moxley shoves Darby away, goes back to the ring, but Darby pursues.

Marina grabs at Darby’s leg, he kicks free, but Moxley SHOTGUNS in return! The fans boo but what did we expect from the Death Riders? Moxley CHOKES Darby on the ropes, makes Darby bite the ropes, and promises things only goes downhill from here. Moxley KICKS the ropes to jam up Darby’s teeth! Darby checks if he still has teeth, but now Moxley wraps a chain around his fist. Moxley stands Darby up to DECK him with that steel fist! Moxley ROCKS Darby in the face again and again, wanting to bust that jaw! Moxley already has blood on his hands, and then he GAGS Darby with the chain!

The fans boo and Darby suffers, but Marina shouts to say it! The fans cuss out Moxley and that just annoys him. Moxley CLUBS Darby with a crossface forearm, and he tells the fans off in return! The fans boo, Moxley goes back to Darby, and Moxley stomps Darby against the ropes! The fans boo more, but Moxley has the arms so he can RIPCORD HOTSHOT Darby! Darby flounders out of the ring, checking his ears now. The ear is bloody from that wicked rope burn, but Darby doesn’t want the ref bothering with it. Moxley goes out after Darby, and he THROWS Darby against the steps! Those edges dig into Darby’s back as he slumps down.

Moxley stalks Darby, smothers him, and asks how long Darby wants to keep this going. They could be here all night if Darby insists. Let’s find out! Moxley shoves Darby down, then pushes the steps around, so that he can THROW Darby against them again! Darby flounders, snarls, and curses in pain, but Moxley drags him up by his arm. Moxley puts the arm on the steps while Marina fetches something for Moxley. Marina finds as bucket of bamboo skewers!! The fans either boo or panic as Moxley makes sure they’re nice and sharp. The fans tell Moxley is sick, and he JAMS it into Darby’s fingers!! This is literally a torture technique!!

Moxley JAMS the skewer in, and Darby flails free! The fans cuss Moxley out more, and Darby makes sure his fingernail is even still there. Moxley drags Darby up and BITES the bad hand! The fans all wince in pain, and then Moxley STOMPS that hand! Darby refuses to stop the match and Moxley is a bit surprised that didn’t do it. Moxley whips Darby, Darby leaps over the steps! And then he uses the steps to FLYING DROPKICK in return! Moxley flounders away and Darby rises up. St. Louis cheers him on as he and Moxley go to the ring. Moxley DECKS Darby, but Darby fires shots in return!

Moxley DECKS Darby again, Darby rises to fire another shot. The shots keep going as Moxley ROCKS Darby and Darby rebounds to ROCK Moxley! The SLAPS start flying, but then Moxley goes back to forearms and a BOOT! Moxley runs, but into a SLAP, HEADBUTT, and CODE RED! Moxley is dazed and the fans fire up! Moxley clutches his throat, but Darby grabs the banner! Darby CHOKES Moxley with the banner, then HANGS Moxley!! Just like what Hangman did to Moxley in the past! But Moxley CLAWS Darby’s eyes! The fans boo but then Darby CLAWS Moxley’s eyes in return! Darby goes to the apron to HAMMER and SLAP away!

Darby looks to the corner, the fans rally up, and Darby climbs! Darby APRON COFFIN DROPS but Marina saves Moxley! Darby bounces off the apron and Moxley is thankful to his insurance policy. Moxley drags Darby up from the ground, puts him in the ring, and then Moxley knees on Darby’s ribs. Moxley asks, Darby says not happening, so Moxley takes Darby’s own belt off him! Moxley LASHES Darby with it! Darby writhes, but Moxley LASHES him again! And LASHES him again! Moxley stands on Darby’s head, and LASHES him again! The fans boo as Moxley paces, and Darby’s back is already red with the welts.

Darby tells the ref to back off, even pushes him away, so Moxley reels Darby in for a PIELDRIVER! Moxley eggs Darby on, then LASHES and LASHES and LASHES again! Darby goes to ropes, but he refuses to stop here. Darby stands, and even dares Moxley to keep going! The fans fire up for Darby’s grit, and Moxley LASHES, LASHES, and LASHES away! Moxley has drawn blood from Darby’s back with those shots! And yet, because Darby doesn’t say it, Moxley loses his temper! Darby jumps on with a SLEEPER!! Moxley THROWS Darby off, but Darby gets up to fire hands! And SLAPS from all sides!

Darby runs, COFFIN- NO, Moxley catches Darby for a GERMAN SUPLEX! Moxley is frustrated, but while he throws a tantrum, Darby goes to his backpack. Moxley storms over to Darby, Darby SPRAYS Moxley with a liquid! Is that lighter fluid?! The fans freak out while Moxley flounders around! Darby then hurries to get his LIGHTER! The fans freak out and Moxley wants this to stop! Yuta & Garcia are here, but Darby MACES them first!! Moxley CUTTERS Darby! Moxley asks for a towel, Claudio hands him one, and Moxley wipes himself off in a panic. The fans boo as the Death Riders are of course here to tip the scales, but Moxley goes to Darby’s backpack.

Moxley finds all of Darby’s goodies, and namely the stun gun! The fans freak out as they can hear it spark! Moxley grins, but Darby blocks the attack! So Marina LOW BLOWS Darby!! And Moxley ZAPS Darby!! Then CURB STOMPS him!! Then Claudio hands Moxley a chair, and he underhooks for the PARADIGM SHIFT onto the chair!! The fans boo but is Darby even in any shape to speak? Meanwhile, Pac brings out a table! Fans wanted a table, but not like this! Moxley clamps onto Darby with the BULLY CHOKE!! Darby endures, sputters, but if he passes out, will that even change anything? Darby defiantly flips Moxley off!

Moxley lets go because he knows Darby being unconscious doesn’t help. Claudio trophy lifts Darby, to THROW him at commentary!! Schiavone, Excalibur & Nigel narrowly avoid being collateral damage, St. Louis is losing their minds, but Pac drags Darby from the desk to then bring him all the way to the ramp side! Pac puts Darby on the apron, Moxley drags him back up, and Moxley hits a PARADIGM SHIFT down through tables!!! Moxley and Darby are both in the wreckage, the Death Riders help Moxley stand, and the fans are pretty sure, “This is Murder!” Darby is somehow breathing, so no, not just yet.

Moxley paces, he tells Darby he doesn’t want to keep doing this. Moxley tells the ref to shut up, either call this or not! Darby is out of his mind, Moxley is the only one who seems to care about Darby! Darby sputters, and the fans chant, “You Can’t Kill Him!” Moxley insists he doesn’t want to do this, but he has to do what he must! Moxley says Darby disrespected him, tried to burn him alive, after everything he’s done! Wait, what are the Death Riders bringing into the ring? Is that a fish tank? And they’re filling it with water… No… Are they seriously going to go this far?! They drag Darby over, fans are simply asking WTF at this point.

Moxley drags Darby to the tank, splashes water in his face to wake him up, and he says this is Darby’s last chance. Darby doesn’t speak, so Moxley ATTEMPTS TO DROWN DARBY!! How is this not against some guideline or rule for this match!? Moxley begs Darby to just say it so he doesn’t have to do this! Darby says NO, so Moxley SHOVES Darby into the water!! Moxley stops, Darby sputters, and Moxley says Darby can’t win, so just stop! Darby won’t speak, so Moxley DUNKS him back in! Moxley shoves Darby away from the tank, paces as he waits, but Darby either refuses to speak or no longer can speak after all he’s been put through.

Wait, the lights go out?! The fans go nuts already, but when the lights come up… IT’S STIIIIIIIIIIING~! The Icon has returned, and Moxley’s already in a daze! Moxley slowly stands up, and Sting CHOKES Moxley with the baseball bat!! The Death Riders hurry in, but Sting JAMS Claudio! And CRACKS Pac! And he SHATTERS the fish tank! The fans go nuts and Moxley has truly seen a ghost! Sting points that bat at Moxley, but then he hands it to Darby! The fans fire up as Darby realizes this is the torch being passed. The fans chant, “Thank You, Sting!” Sting steps aside, he stares Marina down, then picks her up! Sting makes sure The Problem is no longer a problem!

The fans are thunderous as Moxley is now stuck between a rock and a hard place as Darby aims that bait. Moxley dares Darby to do it then! Darby snarls, Moxley pushes the bat, so Darby CRACKS him int he gut! And CRACKS him on the back! And in the knee! And the back of the leg! Darby breaks what’s left of the fish tank, then takes the banner to CHOKE Moxley with it!! And SCORPION DEATH DROP!! Darby goes up, up, COFFION DROP!! Darby roars, pounds the mat, and he steps through for a SCORPION DEATHLOCK!!! Moxley endures, and he QUITS!!! DARBY WINS!!!

Winner: Darby Allin

The fans erupt in cheers as Darby is violently, emphatically, finally victorious! Not only is this Darby’s first win over Moxley, but he did it for A E W!! If even this insane brutality could not stop Darby, then will nothing stop him from doing whatever he wants?

My Thoughts:

An awesome WrestleDream, but with perhaps one glaringly bad move. Samoa Joe VS Hangman Page was an awesome match, though it was clear the crowd was tiring out by this point as Hangman kept signaling them to get fired up again. But naturally, Hangman found the determination to win, that was the right call. The horribly bad call was The Opps turning Heel! At least, all three of them. Joe going Heel and hitting Hangman and upsetting the other two would’ve worked MUCH better than this. The fans love Joe, they love Hobbs, they love Shibata, WHY turn them? Is it just because the fans also really like The Hurt Syndicate, who were set up as Trios contenders?

Why not just let both teams be fan favorites so everyone can enjoy Opps VS Hurt Syndicate? Or if that doesn’t seem to make sense to TK, then The Demand could’ve won tonight instead. Everyone loves mocking Ricochet, so let The Demand be the Heels that get the heat while The Opps feud with them. Just don’t do the thing that’s stupid and no one will like! I thought this wasn’t supposed to be like WWE! And even then, how does Opps VS Hurt Syndicate help either team? If Joe is supposed to go after Hangman a second time, losing to Hurt Syndicate kinda hurts his standings. But then Hurt Syndicate can’t win here and just fall short of the titles, right? TK wrote himself into a corner!

Moving on, Mercedes Mone surpassing Ultimo Dragon by getting her 11th championship wasn’t necessarily a bad move, but it was a sadly predictable move with that last-minute announcement of Mone wanting a fellow champion challenging her. And with ROH around to be fodder, Mina losing her title to Mone was going to be the move. Mina did give Mone arguably the best match of Mone’s entire TBS title reign, but even then Mone has to cheat. Setting up Kris VS Mone next is an interesting move. They didn’t go “Double or Nothing” nor “All In” on Mone’s titles before, they surely won’t do that here, so the TBS Championship just stays Mone’s for another month. Ugh.

Kris VS Toni was an awesome match, though, and a great win for Kris to strengthen her reign. Toni and Mina having their promo together, that’s a dead giveaway they’re getting in on the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament, and probably even win it all. It’s not that Toni & Mina aren’t great, and it’s not that they won’t be great together, but it’s just so clear that they will be great together that it seems a shame for the other teams. But at the same time, we’ve gotta build a Blood & Guts match, and I’m thinking it’s still Hayter, Aminata, Willow, Harley, and/or TayJay VS Penelope, Megan & Triangle of Madness.

Great tag match from Willow & Harley VS Megan & Penelope in the kickoff show, and Hayter VS Thekla was a great part of the main show. Great wins for the Faces in each of those, so I wonder if the Heels win Blood & Guts. Great stuff during Tailgate Brawl overall, I just don’t like the idea of how this is on at the same time as the Zero Hour talk show stuff. Not that I really care about the Zero Hour talk stuff, but then what’s the point? Why have both? Fans can only pay attention to one in the moment, why did they stop doing it all as one thing and exclusively online? Is this some contractual nonsense with TNT?

Awesome stuff from Jurassic Express VS Young Bucks, with another very clever entrance for The Bucks. Great win for Jurassic Express, and with everything after from Callis Family attacking and Kenny Omega making the save, I feel like this is all working towards The Bucks turning Face. We might even get Don Callis Family in Blood & Guts against Team Omega, which could be Kenny, Jurassic Express and newly Face Bucks. Kyle VS Briscoe was an awesome TNT title match, and while Kyle cheated to win, I at least commend Kyle for cheating on his own and not needing Callis. Who knows who is next for Kyle, but he’ll always put on an awesome match.

Brodido VS Okada & Takeshita was awesome, and it felt like they saw Jurassic Express VS Bucks and upped things accordingly. In the end, Okada and Takeshita weren’t so much dysfunctional, but Okada not being bothered by hitting Konosuke was his downfall. Great win for Brodido, and I would think Bandido pinning Okada gets him a Unified Championship match. Okada likely wins that to rebound, and then we can work out something for Okada VS Takeshita. As for the tag titles, FTR cheating again to win, they likely call out Brodido and we build towards Full Gear. I just don’t know if FTR wins.

And Darby VS Moxley being the main event over the world title, you could just tell something messed up was going to happen. We’re basically getting ever closer to having a John Wick movie. Sting returning was awesome, though, that helped ease some of the discomfort from seeing what Darby put himself through. Darby winning is great for him, and had Joe not been foolishly turned Heel, Hangman could easily move on to have a feud with Darby where, again, everyone can just enjoy seeing two fan favorites just have an awesome match. For now, Darby maybe goes after the TNT title to give Kyle someone who really tests his limits.
