And don’t worry, it’s THE Tony Schiavone this time. He brings up the social media announcement from AEW earlier today, the new National Championship! They will explain more on that, but wait! The Opps storm out here! Schiavone is worried as Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata & “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs make their way to the ring. Joe has a mic to say, “Pardon the interruption… But Houston, we have a problem! See, there’s a term that I heard a long time ago around here, and it might just apply to the man that I’m staring at in the ring. Tony Schiavone…” The fans cheer Tony on, and Joe says yes, cheer this man!
Cheer Tony on, because he will surely say he had nothing to do with what happened last week. But Joe is finding that very hard to believe. The fans cheer for “TONY S*IT!” a la #CowboyS*it. Schiavone says Joe knows how much respect he has for The Opps, but- “SHUT UP!” The fans boo Joe but Joe says he’ll explain what’s about to happen. “There are consequences for the actions we choose to engage in, Tony. And tonight, my little Georgia peach, consequences have come for you.” The fans boo as The Opps flank the ring. Security rushes out here to stand in the way, but Joe just grins. Joe says this is cute, but Schiavone knows he’s just getting more people hurt.
The fans boo but then HANGMAN PAGE makes his way out here! The Cowboy gets The Opps to back down, but then Joe says this couldn’t have worked out any better. They can take care of two problems at once! The Opps gets back up, but then Hook & Eddie Kingston rush out here! The Mad King even has his crutch! The fans cheer that, and Hangman tells Joe he could forgive Joe for being confused. That man is Tony Schiavone, not Adam Page. The Hangman is right here! The fans cheer that, and Hangman says yeah, Joe’s right, Hangman IS Joe’s problem. So if Joe wants to handle that problem, Hangman will beat that ass in his Wranglers!
The fans cheer, but Hook asks for the mic. Hangman obliges, and Hook says The Opps are still Trios Champions, right? The belts they won without Hook! Well, how ’bout they prove they’re fighting champions and put them on the line after all! The fans fire up for that! Joe says Hook does not talk to Joe that way ever, not a day in his life! Hook wants his shot at the champs?! Then fine! Their Six Man Tag tonight, The Opps will kick your asses for the titles tonight! The fans fire up and things have just escalated! Will Hook & Eddie help Hangman become a Two Belt Cowboy? Or will Joe just choke Hangman out before their fight at Full Gear?

With just a week left to prepare, advantage is up in the air! We begin a Best 2 Out of 3 Match series between Conglomeration and Death Riders! Will Houston be Freshly Squeezed? Or will the Swiss Cyborg strike first blood?
Cassidy doesn’t wait for a bell, he DIVES onto Claudio the moment Claudio’s ringside! The fans fire up, Cassidy keeps going, and another DIVE! Another hit and Claudio is down again! The fans cheer Cassidy as he puts Claudio against railing, then climbs up to rain down fists! The ref reprimands but the fans count along, only for Claudio to stop things at nine! Claudio THROWS Cassidy into the ropes, then SHOVES him into the ring. Cassidy sputters, Claudio takes his shirt off, and Claudio storms into the ring. He drags Cassidy up, but Cassidy bumps Claudio off buckles! And then side to side to bump him off more buckles!
Cassidy goes for a third, but Claudio stops Cassidy halfway! Claudio CHOPS, then he THROWS Cassidy into more ropes! Claudio steps inside while the fans boo, and finally the bell rings. Cassidy BOOTS Claudio, runs, but into a POP-UP- ARM-DRAG from Cassidy! Cassidy kips up while Claudio bails out, and Cassidy DIVES! But Claudio catches Cassidy! Claudio keeps the stalling suplex as he walks around the way, then he GOURD BUSTERS Cassidy onto barriers! The fans boo but Claudio huffs ‘n’ puffs. Claudio drags Cassidy back up for another suplex! The fans boo but Claudio walks up the steel steps with Cassidy!
Claudio THROWS Cassidy into the ring, then shakes out his arms as he steps in. Claudio runs up, Cassidy dodges! Cassidy runs in, but Claudio puts him on the apron. Cassidy RAMS into Claudio, slingshots, but Claudio catches him again! Claudio suplexes, stalls, but Cassidy flails! Cassidy slips around, and he powers his way for a sleeper, only for Claudio to hold it off! The fans rally and Cassidy gets the SLEEPER! Claudio endures, powers up, and he SWINGS Cassidy around! Cassidy holds on and the fans cheer! Claudio fades, drops to his knees, but powers back up! Claudio pries the hold open, bends fingers, and SNAPS them!
The fans boo but Claudio spins into the GIANT SWING! Cassidy goes around and around, Claudio THROWS Cassidy away at seven! Cassidy tumbles out of the ring while Claudio catches his breath, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Claudio tells fans to shove it before he goes out and fetches Cassidy. Claudio pushes Cassidy into sitting down against the barrier, then UPPERCUTS him! Cassidy sputters again while Claudio takes a seat now. The ref reprimands, Claudio drags Cassidy up, and Claudio scoops to SLAM Cassidy on the apron! Claudio shoves Cassidy into the ring, then stalks Cassidy. Claudio stomps Cassidy’s fingers! Cassidy writhes, but then Claudio drags him up by an ear. Cassidy fires body shots, Claudio shoves him away to scoop and BACKBREAKER! Cassidy bails out of the ring and Claudio paces with the ring count.
Cassidy rises up, hobbles forward, but Claudio UPPERCUTS him right into the barriers! Cassidy hobbles into the ring after all, but then Claudio storms in and drops an ELBOW! Cover, TWO! Cassidy writhes, Claudio looms over him, and Claudio drags Cassidy back up. Claudio ROCKS Cassidy with a forearm, then stalks him to a corner. Claudio stands Cassidy up to UPPERCUT him back down, then stalks Cassidy again. Claudio stands Cassidy up for another UPPERCUT, and Dynamite returns to single picture. Cassidy sputters, the fans rally up, but Claudio stands Cassidy up for another UPPERCUT! But Cassidy puts his hands up! And in his pockets!
Claudio deadlift suplexes Cassidy! The fans boo, but Cassidy puts his hands back up! And in his pockets! But then Claudio deadlifts Cassidy for a GUT WRENCH PLEX! But even while on his face, Cassidy puts his hands in his pockets! Claudio deadlifts Cassidy again, THROWS him to the corner, then fires off fast hands and UPPERCUTS! Claudio puts Cassidy up top, UPPERCUTS again, and Cassidy wobbles. But then Cassidy sits up, to put his hands in his pockets! And FLYING RANA! Cassidy keeps going, ducks ‘n’ dodges, then SHOTGUNS! Claudio survives the onslaught but the fans rally for Cassidy. The standing count begins, and Cassidy stands at 4 of 10. Cassidy powers up, takes aim, but Claudio slow rolls to the apron. Cassidy runs up to ORANGE- NO, Claudio RAMS low, slingshots to sunset flip, and then deadlifts again!
POWERBOMB!! Cover, TWO!! Cassidy survives, but Claudio is on him for a CROSSFACE! The fans rally as Cassidy endures! Cassidy pushes through to roll Claudio up! TWO, and Claudio UPPERCUTS! Then Claudio climbs the corner, and he deadlifts INTO A STUN-DOG MILLIONAIRE!! The fans are thunderous for the ORANGE- UPPERCUT from Claudio! Cassidy wobbles, Claudio ripcords, POP-UP- ORANGE PUNCH!! Backstage interview with Don Callis, Kyle Fletcher, and Mark Briscoe.
Renee Paquette is with The Jackal, The Protostar, and The Sussex County Chicken. She thanks them for accepting the No Physicality Agreement, and says Briscoe asked for this time. What is on his mind? Briscoe says two weeks ago, he challenged Fletcher for one more match for the TNT Championship. Now he received a response from Don Callis, but he wants a response direct from Fletcher. Fletcher wants to talk but Briscoe says hold on one second, he was not finished. Now, here is Briscoe’s thought process: At WrestleDream, it took a swift kick to the family jewels to secure the victory, and that cannot sit good! That’s not a fulfilling victory! That’s like making out with your sister.
Callis says Briscoe would know. But Briscoe says he is just trying to help Fletcher become a real man. Let’s take the kick to the nuts out, make it all null and void, make it meaningless. Let’s do it at Full Gear, Kyle Fletcher VS Mark Briscoe, TNT Championship, NO DISQUALIFICATIONS! Fletcher says wow. He might actually really like that. Callis says Fletcher likes having fun, and Callis loves making Fletcher happy. There’s something here for Fletcher, but also something for Briscoe, because the TNT title is what he wants, right? The thing is, Papi Callis needs something for himself. Briscoe says he is guessing it’ll be Title VS Career or something like that.
Oh, whoa, no, Callis would never end Briscoe’s career. Callis loves Mark Briscoe, as a wrestler. But he has something much better for both of them in mind. If, or rather when, Briscoe loses to Kyle at Full Gear, Briscoe will JOIN THE DON CALLIS FAMILY, leaving The Conglomeration behind, FOREVER! And just to be clear, this might blow Briscoe’s mind, but let’s make it about Briscoe for once! The hungry mouths back in Delaware that Briscoe’s gotta feed and give all his money to! Briscoe won’t let Callis talk like that but Callis says The Conglomeration is just suckin’ the life outta him! Briscoe says this silver tongued snake is trying to get him to make a deal with the devil!
But y’know what? It is only a deal with the devil of Briscoe loses! And dammit, Briscoe ain’t losing! At Full Gear, it’ll be Callis who has to deal with the devil! You’re on, buddy! Briscoe storms off, and both Callis and Kyle smile ear to ear. Will the Sussex County Chicken finally be the Face of TNT? Or will he end up cooked by the New Jersey Devil?

Dynamite returns and now Renee is with The Jackal, The Walking Weapon, and the desperate Matt & Nick Jackson. She says it is official for Full Gear, they will be in the first-ever MILLION DOLLAR TRIOS MATCH! But since The Bucks have agreed to the match, is it safe to assume they are Don Callis Family? Matt says that’s a different subject, but Callis says let’s not put them on the spot. They’re top talent! By the way, how was the Escalade ride from the airport? The care package under the seat? Good, right? Anyway, from what Callis has seen going on with how this company treats this once-in-a-generation tag team like they’re a couple of JOBBERS…!
Callis said, and Alexander can confirm, Callis said if it takes every last penny in his bank account, he will make sure The Bucks get the treatment they deserve. Because when you’re with Callis, you’re with The Family. And speaking of, the rest of the Family steps in! Kyle, Archer, Rocky, Mark Davis, Hechicero, CLØN, they’re all here. While these teams have to prepare for next week’s historic first-ever Women’s Blood & Guts match, #UltiMone and the Forever ROH Champion want to make history by taking these tag titles. Will the #CEOverlords ride the Money Train all the way to the mountaintop? Or will The Babes of Wrath derail Mone & Athena right from the start?
The teams sort out, but then Mone & Athena just attack! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Mone beats down Harley while Athena drags Willow out of the ring. Athena looms over Willow while Mone stomps Harley, and the bell finally rings to get this on record. Mone runs to METEORA! Then Mone rains down fists! The fans boo but Athena applauds. Mone bumps Harley off buckles, tag to Athena, and they dig their boots in. The ref counts, Mone steps out, but Athena digs her boots in deeper. Tag back to Mone, they mug Harley, and Mone mocks the fans. Mone CHOKES Harley on the ropes!
The fans boo but Mone KNEES Harley back into the ring. Cover, TWO! The fans rally but Mone taunts Harley. Harley crawls, but Mone whips her to the corner. Tag to Athena, Athena ROCKS Harley, and then Athena snapmares Harley. Athena KNEES Harley in the back again and again, then soaks up the heat. Athena pushes Harley over, throws down fists, and argues with the ref about the count. The fans taunt Athena with, “Dallas Sucks! Harley switches, ripcords, and ducks a kick to pump handle and BACKDROP PLEX! Then hot tag to Willow! Willo dodges Mone, BLASTS Athena, then LARIATS Mone again and again! The fans fire up, Athena is back, but Willow sends her into Mone! Willow runs corner to corner, DOUBLE SPLASH! Willow whips Mone into Athena, then goes up a corner, DOUBLE MISSILE DROPPKICK! The fans are thunderous again, “This is Awesome!” All four women stir, Harley and Mone head for their corners, hot tags to Athena and Willow! Willow swings, Athena dodges, and Athena ROCKS Willow, but Willow ROCKS Athena! The shots go back and forth, but Athena wrenches to SOBAT, FRONT KICK, and ENZIGIRI! Willow rebounds to LARIAT!! Willow fireman’s carries Mone, DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! Then CANNONBALL but Athena dodges! Athena hurries to haul Willow up, Canadian Rack, SIDEWINDER CODE BREAKER! Willow staggers around, Harley tags in! Athena fireman’s carries Willow, Harley runs up, but Athena SMACKS Harley with Willow’s boots! Then Athena scoops Harley?! Athena shows her power as she hits a SAMOAN DROP FALL AWAY SLAM COMBO!! Cover on Harley, TWO!! Harley survives and Athena is shocked! Athena calls to Billie Starkz while the fans cheer on “A E DUB! The AEW Women’s World Champion just made sure justice was served, and now the CEOverlords are OUT of the tournament! Willow & Harley are all fired up, will they soon be the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions? Or will they run afoul of those Sisters of Sin, Julia Hary & Skye Blue?

Schiavone says that as they were trying to say to start the show, before he was so rudely interrupted, that AEW is raising the stakes on Full Gear, Saturday, November 22nd. There will be a Casino Gauntlet Match, with the winner being the INAUGURAL AEW National Champion! This title carries the lineage of the original National Championship and will return to TBS for the first time in almost 40 YEARS. As you can imagine, wrestlers have been lining up to sign up for said Casino Gauntlet. We bring out two of the entrants, it is Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin of the Hurt Syndicate!
The fans cheer as The All Mighty, The Standard of Excellence, as well as Montel Vontavious Porter, make their way out to the ring. Houston sings, “We Hurt~ People!” The Syndicate joins Schiavone in the ring, and MVP wants Schiavone to hold on. MVP checks Schiavone’s nose, and Schiavone assures him, it’s the real Schiavone. But two of the best ever, this brings up an interesting situation for the Syndicate, doesn’t it? MVP repeats that, “Brings up an interesting situation for the Syndicate? Tony Schiavone, we are the Hurt Syndicate, we ARE the most interesting thing in every room we step into.
“But you know what else interesting, Tony? The history of the newly debuting AEW International title. Amazing, historic names like, uh, let’s see… You’ve got Paul Orndoff. Jack Brisco. The legendary Dusty Rhodes! And the Great Chief Wahoo McDaniel held it before the iconic Nikita Koloff beat him for it to unify it. That’s interesting. But y’know, when it comes to iconic, who’s more iconic than The All Mighty, Bobby Lashley? Who is better than the Standard of Excellence, Shelton Benjamin? Tony, both these men have declared themselves as entrants into the Casino Gauntlet Battle Royal at Full Gear. The prize is ours.”
The fans cheer and Schiavone says yes, the National Championship is on the line, but what happens should Lashley and Benjamin have to go up against each other? MVP says that’s a very simple thing to answer. They are businessmen, they always do what is best for business, but here is who wins: The Hurt Syndicate wins! But more importantly, the AEW audience wins. The fans cheer that! But wait, Ricochet & The Demand now interrupt! The fans boo as Ricochet leads the way for Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona, and Ricochet has a mic.
Ricochet wants them to listen, because he promises to make this as quick as possible. As a Philadelphia Eagles fan, Ricochet doesn’t wanna be in trashy Texas any longer than he has to be. He is out here because for those who know Ricochet, they know Ricochet gives credit where credit is due. The three of them just wanted to give The Hurt Syndicate the credit they deserve. Yes, because seriously, it doesn’t matter how decrepitly old The Hurt Syndicate is, they hobble their old asses out here into Ricochet’s ring, talking about gold! Honestly, that is amazing. At their age, Ricochet admires them all.
But look, every single time Ricochet speaks, he spits nothing but facts! Every time he grabs the mic, it seems like he has to say, “I told you so.” Because he said every single one of the morons watching here and at home that Ricochet was going to do everything that those three Syndicate morons would never win gold again! And that’s what happened, isn’t it, Bob? How’s his back? The fans tell Ricochet to STFU but Ricochet says they’re just making it worse. Every single time Ricochet is out here, the fans love him! But Ricochet is here for the Syndicate, because they’re starting to piss him off.
The fans keep on booing, but MVP says no one cares about what Ricochet has to say. The only thing The Demand has done well is get their asses beat by The Syndicate. They like to get hurt, the Syndicate likes to hurt people, so Ricochet should just shut his mouth before they beat dat ass right now! The fans cheer that! Ricochet says the only thing you need to know is that at Full Gear, The Demand will be met, and Ricochet will walk out of New Jersey your inaugural AEW National Champion! HAHAAA~! Moxley even gives Red Death one last pep talk to end this now and put The Conglomeration away. Will Daniel Garcia succeed where even The Maniac failed? Or will Moxley have no choice but to face Roderick Strong on Collision?
The bell rings and the two circle. Garcia avoids the attempts at the legs, and the two feel out a knuckle lock. Darby avoids a shoot-in this time, then they tie up. Garcia waistlocks, and he SLAMS Darby! Garcia floats all over Darby and slaps him around before the waistlock. Darby fights up, pries the hold open, and he waistlocks. Garcia powers Darby back, pries the hold open, but Darby rolls to avoid the switch. Darby headlocks, Garcia powers up but can’t power out as Darby holds on. Darby hits the takeover, has the cover, ONE! Garcia pushes forearms into Darby’s face, Darby pushes him down for another cover, TWO!
Darby holds onto the headlock as Garcia stands, but Garcia endures the grind. Garcia pulls Darby’s ear! The ref counts, Garcia stops at 4, and Garcia is free. Garcia then throat chops Darby down! The fans boo but Garcia storms up to stomp Darby in a corner. Garcia stomps away on Darby, stands on him, but the ref counts. Garcia steps off, Darby goes to the apron, and Garcia goes out the side. Garcia climbs the corner, drags Darby up, and he exposes the crossbar, to CHOKE Darby with the sleeve! The fans boo and the ref reprimands, but Garcia lets go at 4. Garcia smirks as he puts up the dukes, then denies the fans the dance.
Garcia drags Darby up again, but Darby YANKS Garcia into the bar! Then Darby takes the top off the post, and he puts Garcia’s arm inside! Darby HAMMERS the arm into the post! The ref reprimands, the fans wince with every hit, but then Darby BITES the arm! The fans freak out, Garcia freaks out, the ref counts, but Darby stops at 4. The fans fire up while Darby steps inside. Garcia drops to the floor, and Darby DIVES! Down goes Garcia but Darby also writhes from the landing. The fans rally up and Darby stands to THROW Garcia into barriers! Darby runs and SHOTGUNS Garcia into the barriers!
The fans fire up and Darby has Garcia again. Darby puts Garcia in the ring, stalks him, but Garcia bails out. The fans boo but Darby just goes to the apron. Garcia TRIPS Darby into the apron skirt trap! Garcia fires forearms, the ref counts, and the fans boo, but Garcia stops at 4. Garcia then roars as he BOOTS Darby down! The fans boo more but Garcia just drags Darby back up. Garcia whips Darby into the steel steps! Darby tumbles, clutches his knees, but Garcia dusts himself off while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Garcia drags Darby around by a leg, and DDTS the foot into the floor! Then Garcia puts Darby in the ring, stalks him, and Darby hobbles to a corner. Garcia is right on him, and he puts the leg in the ropes to kick and kick and kick! Garcia digs his knee into Darby, then he ties the tag rope to Darby’s chain necklace! The ref reprimands as Darby is stuck in the corner! Garcia then runs up to BOOT Darby down! And stomp him! Darby is being choked like a man in a noose, but the stomps actually break the tag rope! The ref reprimands and backs Garcia off while Darby is down in a heap. Garcia just soaks up heat as he storms back over to Darby.
Garcia looms over Darby as he crawls, then drags him up to put back in the corner. Garcia climbs up, he rains down fists, then stops at nine to again taunt fans with the dukes up. Garcia lets Darby fall in a heap while he soaks up more heat. Darby sputters, but Garcia hooks up the legs. Garcia lets Darby flail before he grabs the arms. Up, up, and away into the ROMERO SPECIAL! Darby endures and Dynamite returns to single picture, then Garcia BOOTS Darby into the buckles! The fans boo and Darby sputters again but Garcia just rises up. Darby is on the apron, Garcia storms up, but Darby RAMS into him! Darby slingshots to sunset flip, but Garcia rolls through!
Garcia storms up but Darby kicks out the legs! He catches Garcia into the GUILLOTINE FACELOCK! Garcia fights around, pops free, and he has the SLEEPER! The fans boo but Darby pushes back! Darby pops free to have the SLEEPER! Garcia does the same to get his SLEEPER back! The fans boo but Darby endures. Darby claws at Garcia’s arms, pushes back to a cover now, TWO! Both men stand, Garcia slips around, SLEEPER! Darby RAMS Garcia into a corner, but Garcia uses that for a HANGING SLEEPER! Darby sputters and the ref counts, Garcia drops Darby at 4. Garcia then hops down to bring Darby back up.
Garcia hoists Darby up top, then climbs up after him. The fans rally for Darby as they go to the very top! SUPER DUPER PLEX! And a roll through! Deadlift, but Darby slips free! SCORPION DEATH DROP!! Both men are down and the fans fire up again! A standing count begins, both men stir, and Darby rises first. Darby hobbles at 6 of 10, then he goes up, up, only for Garcia to trip him up! Darby hits ropes, then apron, then floor! Garcia storms out after Darby, he drags Darby around the way by his arm, and then looks at the desk. But then Garcia pushes the steel steps aside, puts Darby in place, and then puts the steps back where they were!
Garcia lines up a shot, even as the fans freak out, and he DROPKICKS the steps into Darby!! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Garcia shows no mercy. Garcia grabs at Darby but the ref has him back off. Garcia says count Darby out then! Garcia waits in the ring and the count begins. The fans rally up harder and harder but Darby is still down at 5 of 10. Garcia wants after Darby again but the ref has him back off. Darby manages to stand, busted open as he is, but PAC ATTACKS! The Bastard knocks Darby down, then he hides in the shadows! Darby is back down as the ring count restarts, but he’s still down at the new 5 of 10.
Darby sputters at 6, reaches out at 7, but is still down at 8! Darby springs to life at 9! He lunges in at 9.9!! But then he falls right back over! Darby takes swings but Garcia dodges them with ease. Garcia waits on Darby, Darby grabs at Garcia, but then Garcia grabs Darby to CHOP, CHOP, CHOP! Darby falls back down, Garcia gets the legs, and he steps through for the “WOO~” and DRAGON TAMER! Garcia mocks The Icon, Sting, while he tortures Darby! But Darby still has fight in him! Darby crawls, reaches out, but Garcia puts on more pressure! Then he drags Darby away! But Darby rolls, and he kicks, kicks, and rolls through, to have the SCORPION DEATH LOCK!!
The fans are thunderous as Garcia suffers now! Garcia reaches out, but he can’t! HE TAPS! DARBY WINS!

But Roderick Strong is here! But that’s 4v1! The fans boo as Moxley then CLOBBERS Kyle O’Reilly before Kyle could get in the ring! Moxley stands on Kyle’s bad knee, Pac hits a TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER on Cassidy!
Claudio hits a GOTCH NEUTRALIZER on Darby! Then Kyle is put back in the ring! Kyle snarls but Moxley taunts him. But a STRONG KNEE hits Moxley! The fans are fired up as Roddy runs all the Death Riders off! Roddy was the hero tonight, but will The Savior of the Backbreaker strike down The Maniac? Or will Moxley find a way to survive his Collision with Roderick Strong?

Houston boos Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood, and #BigStoke is conspicuous by his absence. FTR take to the mics, and Cash starts by saying, “Last week on Dynamite, we won a Four Way match to become #1 Contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Championships! You would think we’d be over the moon about this, but the reality is that we should’ve been three-time champions at Forbidden Door in London!” The fans boo, Cash asks if they’re done, because he’s not. “We should’ve been three-time champions in London, but Brodido took that away from us. So now we got a bone to pick with Brodido, but we wanna do it to your faces!
“So please, Brodido, get out here and let us do this men to men, face to face.” The fans cheer as the music hits, but where are Brody King & Bandido? Oh, wait, Stokely IS here, and he’s locked Brodido in their room! Renee asks what is going on! Stokely, let them out! Stokely claims he doesn’t know what happened! He’s been trying to get the door open all night! Brodido~! Brodido~! Hey, have you watched The Wire? Great show. Stokely goes back to his phone and FTR feigns ignorance and concern. They were “really looking forward to having Brodido out here for a gentlemen’s handshake” before Full Gear. Aw, darn.
Fortunately, though, FTR has the second best thing here in the house sitting ringside. Give it up to Bandido’s family! The fans do cheer for Gravity, their sister, their mom, and even grandma. Dax pulls his usual nonsense by answering his own question, that if he were to guess, she must not be a day over 113 years old. And he knows that they just celebrated Halloween and Dia de Los Muertos, but talk about dead! Bandido’s grandma takes the cake! The fans boo and Gravity gets upset. Dax says it is so admirable and heartwarming how much of a star her grandson, Bandido, has become. Can she please explain to everyone just how proud she is? Mucho much- Because if Dax has to guess, he would say she is probably pretty damn embarrassed to call Bandido “and this idiot,” Gravity, her grandbabies.
But if grandma promises to be a good girl, maybe Dax & Cash will adopt her as their, come se dice? Abuela. Let’s seal it with a kiss! She SLAPS Dax instead! And Gravity jumps the rails to fire hands! The fans fire up, but that’s 2v1! But wait! Speaking of 2v1, Stokely thinks he’s safe, until BRODY KING’S FIST PUNCHES THROUGH! The door, that is. But Brody does grab Stokely and choke him! Stoke gets free, runs away, but FTR still mugs Gravity! The fans boo but then Cash goes up! Dax reels Gravity in, but Stoke runs out to ringside to say RUN, FOOLS, RUN! BRODIDO IS HERE! The fans cheer as Mina shimmies and shakes again, but Megan deadlifts her! Mina fires elbows, Megan still lifts, but Mina victory rolls Megan into ropes!
Mina runs to dropkick the legs out! Then she BUZZSAWS! The fans fire up, Mina runs again, tilt-o-whirl and RUSSIAN- NO, Megan stops the leg sweep! Samoa Joe thought he, Hobbs & Shibata could bully Schiavone for his part to play last week, but that only angered The Cowboy, The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil & The Mad King more. The Opps got goaded into putting up the titles, will they regret it? Or will this be the perfect trap game for the AEW World Champion?
The introductions are made, the trios titles are raised, and we see who is truly #NeverLacking!
The trios sort out, Joe starts against Hangman for a Full Gear teaser, and the two circle. The fans rally up, but then Joe tags out to Shibata. The fans boo and Hangman frowns, but Cowboy and Wrestler circle now. They tie up, then fire forearms! The fans fire up for that, and even Eddie is amazed at how much Hangman hammers Shibata. Hangman whips, Shibata reverses, but Hangman avoids the boot! Shibata boots the lariat away, HEAD ‘N’ ARM, but Hangman elbows free! Shibata kicks low, runs, but into a BOOT! The fans fire up and Hangman stalks Shibata to a corner. Hangman CHOPS, CHOPS, and CHOPS!
Hangman ROCKS Shibata, whips corner to corner, then runs up to LARIAT! Hangman runs but Shibata follows! BOOT! Shibata rains down forearms, then runs corner to corner, but Hangman gets up to LARIAT! Hook dodges to then ROCK Hobbs again and again! Hobbs KNEES low, then scoops, BACKBREAKER! Hook sputters and writhes while the fans boo. Hobbs tells Hook he doesn’t wanna hurt him, but he will. BACKBREAKER! The fans boo, Eddie coaches Hook, but Hobbs whips Hook to a corner. Hook dodges the splash, and manages an EXPLODER! Hobbs flounders, Hook fires up, but his own back brings him right back down.

Hook and Hobbs crawl, but Hangman and Eddie check with Hook. His back might be in worse shape than it looks, and Hobbs backs off to tag Joe. Eddie tags in, and Joe runs right up on Eddie to fire hands! Joe JABS, JABS, JABS, and he sits Eddie down in the corner! Joe digs his boots in, the ref counts, but Joe stops at 4. Joe smirks, then drags Eddie back up. Eddie fires body shots in return! Then CHOPS! And CHOPS! Joe HEADBUTTS Eddie down! Joe drags Eddie back up, whips him to a corner, and ELBOWS to PELE! Eddie sits down, the medics check Hook, and Joe tags Shibata. Shibata storms up to Eddie to CHOP! And CHOP! And CHOP!
Eddie fires up, and he CHOPS Shibata in return! Shibata CHOPS again! Eddie CHOPS again! Shibata CHOPS and Eddie backs off, only to come back and CHOP again! Shibata CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS, and Eddie backs down to a corner. Shibata CHOPS Eddie again, traps a leg in the ropes, and Joe distracts the ref. Shibata runs corner to corner to, more or less, hit SHATTERED DREAMS! Shibata plays dumb like he doesn’t know what happened, and then he sneaks some mule kicks on Eddie. The ref is busy with all the different protesting voices, but Shibata drags Eddie up to snapmare. Shibata scrapes his soles off Eddie’s face!
Shibata stomps Eddie, tags Joe back in, and then Joe HEADBUTTS Eddie. Joe ROCKS Eddie with a kidney shot, then ROCKS him with a forearm to the head. Eddie ends up in a corner as Joe JABS and ROCKS him again and again! Dynamite returns to single picture, Joe taunts Hangman, but Eddie eggs Joe on. Hook is still in bad shape while Joe clamps onto Eddie with shoulder claws! The fans rally as Eddie endures, and Eddie fights up to fire body shots. Eddie runs but Joe ELBOWS him down! The fans boo but Joe just smirks. Joe goes back to Eddie, sits him up, and he Mongolian Chops Eddie again and again!
Joe then clamps back on for the shoulder claw. The fans rally, Eddie endures again, and Eddie fights back up for more body shots. But Joe THROWS Eddie down! Joe smirks, runs, and SENTONS but FLOPS as Eddie moves! The fans fire up as Eddie and Joe crawl for their corners! Hot tags to Hobbs and Hangman! The fans fire up as Hangman dodges Hobbs, BLASTS Shibata, then BOOTS Hobbs! Triangle jump LARIAT for Shibata! Hangman DUMPS Hobbs out, then aims to PLANCHA! But Hobbs catches him!? Hobbs aims, but Hangman slips free, Hobbs POSTS himself! Hangman goes up to the top rope! But Hobbs gets in the ring!

Eddie then ROCKS Hobbs, but Hobbs ROCKS Eddie! Eddie returns to S T O! Joe runs up and he LARIATS Eddie! BUT HOOK IS BACK! Hook TOSSES Joe, clinches Shibata, but the back holds him back again! S T O from Shibata to Hook!
Hangman BOOTS Shibata from the ropes! He locks ‘n’ loads, Eddie brings the strap down! But Hobbs YANKS Hangman down! Scoop and APRON POWERSLAM! Eddie SHOVES Shibata aside while Hobbs THROWS Hangman away! Eddie DIVES but Hobbs ROCKS him! Hobbs shoves Eddie back in for Shibata’s GERMAN SUPLEX! Hobbs runs up on Hangman, and POUNCES him up the ramp! Hobbs isolates Hangman on the stage, “Cowboy S*it, my ass!” Hobbs hauls Hangman up, ROCKS him, but then Hangman ROLLING ELBOWS! A great Dynamite as a sort of “go home, part one.” Sadly, a lot of predictable moves with this Blood & Guts advantage stuff, having to split them up between both Dynamite and Collision. Claudio beating Cassidy of course dictated Darby would beat Garcia, and now we are of course getting Moxley VS Roddy to decide it all. I feel like Death Riders are definitely getting advantage for Blood & Guts, but that’s because Darby & Conglomeration should win and move on from Death Riders. Though, they might end up feuding with Don Callis Family more given Callis put that bet on the TNT Championship match.
I can’t see Briscoe joining DCF, but now it feels like they’re giving away that Briscoe wins the TNT title off Fletcher. It’s a really interesting move but I guess this is meant to end the title feud. At the same time, hard to say if The Bucks are joining DCF or not. Between how much Callis is putting into persuading them, Okada putting that implied time limit, and then Jack Perry literally stabbing a $100 bill, The Bucks are certainly torn between two sides. I would think their decision of being DCF or not DCF will be the pivotal point in the Million Dollar Trios match at Full Gear, also impacting the outcome of the match.
The Women’s Division is in a slightly better position with only having the one advantage match tonight, but ironically it’s because of the weird scheduling Tony Khan has put them in. We got a great tag title tournament match from Mone & Athena VS Willow & Harley, and I’m actually a bit surprised Willow & Harley won. But at the same time, Mone has the world title for Full Gear, and that double header story I was sensing is now null and void. But Blood & Guts is still a detour the whole division is taking, and I still worry something could go wrong. Mina VS Megan was a last minute change because Aminata wasn’t cleared, but it still ended up a great match. Very good brawl after to have the teams together on screen, and now fans have a reason to watch Collision.
FTR had a good promo segment this time, because they didn’t go on and on with it like other times. They quickly got to the reveal of Brodido stuck in their room, and to insulting Bandido’s family, and then it was just hilarious seeing Stokely scared out of his mind with Brody punching through the door. Great heat on the tag match now, I wonder if Gravity gets back in the ring to help with the rest of the build. But with that, please let it be some other time, not this Saturday. FTR already did the best thing this week, they can take a Collision off for the sake of other stories building towards Full Gear.
Great stuff with The Opps and Hangman tonight, especially that opening promo. I feel like they upped the ante of the main event to give good reason why Opps win. Good sell on Hook with the back, and wow Hobbs putting Hangman through the table from off the stage, Hobbs should be challenging at Full Gear. I still wonder if my “Hook is a mole” theory holds, where Hook was (in story) exaggerating the pain. But at the same time, what’s the pay off? Is Hangman actually going to lose at Full Gear? And either way, is Hook going to fight Joe 1v1 or rejoin The Opps by turning on Eddie?
Last but not least, the news of AEW establishing their own National Championship. Doesn’t that belt belong to the current NWA these days? Mike Mondo won it at the NWA 77th Anniversary Show back in August. Is this a sign NWA joins the alliance AEW has with ROH, CMLL & NJPW/Stardom? I do like that this title will be up for grabs in a Casino Gauntlet, that’s a fun way of doing it rather than worrying about yet another tournament or just a generic battle royal. Good promo from Hurt Syndicate with Ricochet, but is this foreshadowing Ricochet winning? It doesn’t feel like Hurt Syndicate is winning, Lashley and Shelton might end up in each other’s way rather than helping, and The Demand is all about helping Ricochet. I just wonder what the belt will look like.

Toni Storm said herself that she and Mina Shirakawa were bonded by a bloody and tragic romance with a certain Glamour, and she only sees Willow Nightingale & Harley Cameron as a “thrown together team to fill out the bracket.” But that team not only filled out the bracket, they conquered their half to be here in the title match! Will everyone #FeelTheWrath when Willow & Harley take the gold? Or will the Love Bombs leave them out in the cold instead?
The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see who has what it takes to make history!
The teams sort out, Harley and Mina start, and they tie up. Mina wrenches, wristlocks, but Harley rolls and wrenches back. The fans already cheer “A E DUB!” for making this happen, and Mina rolls to arm-drag Harley! Harley comes back, Mina dodges then runs, but Harley trips her! Mina avoids the Penalty Kick and then slides under a lariat! The fans cheer as Mina shimmies and shakes, but Harley runs up! Mina drops, Harley handsprings then slips around to headlock. Mina powers up and out to send Harley to the corner. Harley headstands, then she BOOTS Mina away. Harley slips outside, rolls Mina up, but Mina rolls through!
Harley grabs Mina to REVERSE MOTORBOAT! The fans cheer, but Mina says if that’s how it’s gonna be! She chest bumps Harley, SOBATS, then whips. Harley ducks ‘n’ dodges and they DOUBLE FACEBUSTER! The fans fire up while both women crawl, hot tags to Toni and Willow! The fans really fire up as these two step up. Toni sniffs Willow, the fans fire up more, and they tie up. Willow headlocks, grinds the hold, but Toni powers up and out. The fans duel as they RAM shoulders! Willow then RUNS Toni over! Willow flexes, but Toni gets up to fire a forearm! Willow says okay, and she fires back! Toni CHOPS! Willow CHOPS!
The fans rally as the forearms go back and forth, faster and faster! Harley steps in, she waistlocks Toni, but Mina gets after Harley! The four brawl, the Babes kick low then whip, but the Love Bombs reverse! The Babes grab ropes to stop, Love Bombs run up but they’re put on the apron. Willow gives Harley a boost to DOUBLE DROPKICK the Love Bombs down! The fans fire up, and then Harley sets Toni & Mina up! Willow CANNONBALLS them both down! The fans fire up and Willow puts Toni in. Willow CLUBS Toni, tags Harley, and Harley runs to wheelbarrow and SPLASH! Cover, TWO! Toni survives and the fans fire up!
Harley bumps Toni off buckles, then CHOPS! Harley whips, Toni ducks ‘n’ dodges, and Mina helps her stop! “I love you~!” Mina helps Toni dodge, then she ROCKS Harley with a right! Toni scoops Harley for a BACKBREAKER! Toni then tags Mina, Mina brings Harley around, and she snap suplexes! Tag to Toni and Toni reels Harley in, for a snap suplex! Tag back to Mina, and Toni scoops Mina for the YOYO SPLASH! Cover, TWO! Harley toughs it out but Mina keeps her from Willow. The fans rally, Harley switches, then ducks a kick! Pump handle and BIG back suplex! Hot tag to Willow! Willow rallies with LARIAT after LARIAT!
Toni gets in, she gets a LARIAT! Then Willow fires CHOP after CHOP on Mina & Toni! The fans fire up, but Mina kicks low! The Love Bombs double whip, but Willow breaks the double lariat to DOUBLE LARIAT back! Then she POUNCES Toni! PERIOD! The fans are thunderous as Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Willow bumps Mina off buckles, winds up, and she LARIATS again and again and again! Willow stops at ten to short arm LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Willow drags Mina up, tags Harley, and they double whip Mina to ropes. They then scoop to DOUBLE BACK SUPLEX! Cover, TWO! Mina toughs it out but Harley drags her up. Harley bumps Mina off buckles, tags Willow, and Harley feeds Mina to a forearm! Harley CHOPS! Willow CHOPS! And repeat! Willow scoops Mina to SLAM! Cover, TWO! Willow keeps Mina from Toni, then winds up to ROCK her! Willow snapmares, then she wraps on body scissors to squeeze Mina!
Mina endures, reaches out, but Willow rolls her to a GEDO CLUTCH! TWO, but another roll, TWO! Another roll, and another, and another, and another! Willow rolls Mina again and again and again, finally ends back in a cover, TWO! Mina survives the spin cycle but Willow tags Harley. Harley snapmares Mina, then runs to SHINING WIZARD! Cover, TWO! You’re a wizard, Harley, but you’re not there yet! Harley clamps on with a chinlock and she grinds Mina down. Dynamite returns to single picture as Mina fights up. Mina fires elbows, Willow tags in, and Mina snapmares free. Harley dodges, sends Mina to Willow for teh FOREARM!
Willow drags Mina to a corner, bumps her off buckles, and BACK BODY BLOCKS! And LARIATS! And then she brings Mina around to whip. Mina reverses to TORNADO DDT! The fans fire up while both women crawl, hot tags to Harley and Toni! Toni DROPKICKS Harley! And DROPKICKS Willow! Mongolian Chops for everyone! Toni sends Harley into Willow, then she reels Harley in, snapmare and snapmare and DDT! The fans fire up as Toni poses, and then she does the chicken dance! Because she wants the chicken wing crossface! Willow CLUBS Toni to save Harley, but Mina tags herself in! Mina storms up, but into a kick!
Willow & Harley double whip Mina, but she reverses to send Willow away! Kick for Harley, ELBOW for Willow, then victory roll and step through! Mina then catches Willow, DDT SNAP LOCK COMBO! The fans fire up and Mina drags Harley around. Mina says it’s time, and she steps through for the FIGURE FOUR! “WOO~!” Harley endures, reaches out, but Mina thrashes the hold! Harley fights and she turns it over! But Toni tips things back in Mina’s favor! So Willow gets in and turns things back to Harley’s favor! Toni sets it back, then throws hands with Willow! Willow trips Toni, and ties her up in an INDIAN DEATHLOCK!
The fans fire up as Toni and Willow fire shots! Harley and Mina sit up to do the same! It is a brawl while in leglocks!! The fans are thunderous as the holds are undone and all four women stand. Mina and Willow throw hands now, as do Toni and Harley! Mina pulls hair, but so does Harley! They DOUBLE CHOP Willow and Toni! So Toni and Willow HEADBUTT Harley and Mina! Then they DOUBLE HEADBUTT with each other!! Harley and Mina come back, they SLINGBLADE in return!! The fans are thunderous again as all four women are down! Willow RAMS Toni into one corner, Harley RAMS Mina into the other! And they both climb up!
But Toni slips down and YANKS Willow off the corner! Willow hits buckles, then Toni goes after Harley! Toni YANKS Harley down, and Mina adjusts. The fans fire up for the FLYING SLINGBLADE! Toni then reels Harley in, STORM ZERO!! Cover, but WILLOW BREAKS IT! The fans fire up, Toni TOSSES Willow, and Toni TORNADO- NO, Willow stops the DDT to NORTHERN LIGHTS to the floor! The fans fire up with Willow, but it is Harley and Mina throwing forearms! Harley fires a flurry, hitting more chest than anything! Mina ROLLING ELBOWS, then DREAM SMASHER ELBOWS! Then a BUZZSAW! And another KICK!
Mina aims, URAKEN!! The fans are all fired up, and Mina calls her shot! Mina drags Harley up, dragon sleepers, but Harley slips up and over the driver! HER FINISHING MOVE!! Hot tag to Willow! Willow hauls Mina up, BABE WITH THE POWER BOMB!!! Cover, BABES OF WRATH WIN!!!

Just as that fan’s sign says, “I ❤️Women’s Wrestling!” And as strong as Toni & Mina are as a duo, perhaps Willow & Harley are that much stronger! Renee Paquette is here, she hugs the brand new champs, and she has a mic to say, “The Babes of Wrath did it! They made history here tonight! Ladies, a huge congratulations, this is incredible. Harley Cameron, this is the first championship you have won here in AEW. Can you guys put into any words for me what it means to be our first-ever AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions?!” The fans cheer, and Willow says, “Huh. First feeling: tired. That was a hard fight. Harley’s mouth is all bloody. It’s not just lipstick folks.
“But I am proud of myself, of course, but I am so proud of Harley Cameron.” The fans cheer that! Willow continues that it has been a rough year for her, not knowing who is there for her and who is, but Harley always was! The fans chant, “You Deserve It!” Harley says she and Willow first met in the ring in Harley’s second-ever match three years ago, and she can’t believe that they now stand here the FIRST-EVER AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions!! Renee again congratulates them, and Harley says, “What are we?” Willow says, “BABES!” “And what do we have?” “WRATH!” The fans join in chanting, “BABES OF WRATH! BABES OF WRATH!”
Pyro goes off as our new champions raise these belts up high! But then Toni & Mina storm up to them! The fans chant, “Hug It Out! Hut It Out!” Toni & Mina offer handshakes, the champs accept, and then they hug! A new chapter truly begins in AEW, will Willow & Harley set a high bar for what it means to be AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions?
The Opps speak.
Samoa Joe says, “So, Eddie, congratulations. Your time has come. After weeks of asking, now you will see. Eddie, you wanted the real Samoa Joe, the man you looked up to. The crusader of the independents, the person whose footsteps you’ve followed in, Eddie. What you don’t realize, Eddie, is that man has been standing in front of you the entire time. 2025 Continental Classic Gold League: Kazuchika Okada VS Jack Perry!
The Rainmaker is 1-1 but on the upswing in this C2, but “Jungle Jack” is picking up the baton for Darby Allin, meaning he’s 0-1 and with no points. But will getting payback against a former friend be more than enough motivation for Jack to turn things around? Or will the “greatest tournament wrestler ever” prove he still holds that title along with the AEW International Championship?
The bell rings, and Jack rushes Okada in the corner! Jack fires hands, RAMS Okada, but backs off as the ref counts. Jack then RAMS Okada again and again! The ref backs Jack off, but then Okada BOOTS Jack! Jack ducks ‘n’ dodges to RANA! The fans fire up, they tell off Don Callis on commentary, and Jack DIVES! Down goes Okada and the fans fire up, then Jack whips Okada into barriers! Jack drags Okada up, whips, but Okada reverses! Jack hits railing, Okada runs up, but Jack DROPKICKS in return! The fans fire up, but Jack shakes out his foot before he gets Okada in the ring. The fans fire up again and Jack covers, TWO!
The fans rally as Okada shakes out the stars. Jack hears the fans rally up, and he storms after Okada. But Okada puts him right up top! Jack BOOTS Okada first, then hops up to FLYING LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Okada is tougher than that, but Jack makes sure Callis sees this. Jack puts Okada in the corner, climbs up, and he rains down fists! The fans count along, and Jack goes to nine, then flips Okada off! But Okada slips out to DROPKICK Jack down onto a ring staffer! Jack clutches that bad foot again while Okada grins. The fans rally while Jack checks his foot, and Okada waits on him. Jack slowly rises, so Okada goes out after him.
Okada drags Jack up and around, and he THROWS Jack into railing! Jack tumbles up and over into the front row! The fans boo Okada and rally for Jack, but Jack drags himself up with the railing. Okada storms up, brings Jack onto the railing, DRAPING DDT on the floor! Jack writhes and Okada grins while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Okada “apologizes” to Jack before dragging him back up. Okada puts Jack in the ring, stalks him, but Jack fires body shots. Okada KNEES Jack low! Then he drags Jack up to turn and NECKBREAKER! Okada covers, TWO! Jack toughs it out but Okada drags him up. Okada bumps Jack off buckles, SMACKS him off them again, then “apologizes” again. Okada SMACKS Jack off the buckles again, then turns him around. Okada runs corner to corner to ELBOW Jack down! Cover, TWO! Jack is tougher than that, but Okada stalks him to a corner. Jack CHOPS Okada, then CHOPS again! And again! But Okada kicks low to DDT!
Jack writhes, Okada steps on him, and it’s a cocky cover! TWO, but Okada just stalks Jack. Dynamite returns to single picture as Okada scuffs Jack and taunts him. The fans rally for Jack and Jack stands up to fire a forearm! Okada eggs Jack on, Jack fires more shots, but Okada ROCKS him! Jack rises again, and he fires more forearms! But Okada ROCKS Jack again! The fans rally as Okada eggs Jack on, but Jack rises to fire a flurry! Okada ROCKS Jack, ROCKS him again, then BOOTS him! Okada fires more heavy shots, then UPPERCUTS! Jack flops against Okada but Okada whips him. Jack hits the COMEBACKER!
The fans fire up while Jack and Okada are both down! Okada sputters and the standing count begins. Jack rolls to the corner, Okada sits up at center, and Don Callis says Okada is smart enough to know how to use the clock to his advantage. Okada storms up, but Jack ELBOWS Okada! And ROCKS him! And CHOPS him! And repeat! Jack whips, Okada reverses, but Jack jumps up and around! GERMAN SUPLEX! The fans fire up and even Don admits that was great! Jack runs, ducks ‘n’ dodges, then SATELLITE DDTS! Cover, TWO! Okada survives but the fans rally up for Jack. Okada blocks a kick to BOOT Jack, then Alabama Lift! REVERSE NECKBREAKER!
The fans fire up again, Okada drags Jack up to scoop and SLAM! Okada goes up the corner, takes aim, and he MACHO ELBOWS! Okada then winds up, and the fans fire up for the Rainmaker MIDDLE FINGER! Okada grins and he drags Jack up. Okada ripcords, but Jack ducks to hop up! Okada slips out, shoves, and DROPKICKS! Okada gets Jack back up, ripcords again at the ten minute mark, but Jack ducks the lariat! SUPERKICK! And then POISON-RANA! Jack hurries to a corner, the fans fire up, and he runs up, GLASS JACK KNEE!! Cover, TWO!?! Okada survives and Jack is shocked, but Don admits Jack is showing the world what he’s got!
“This is Awesome!” as Jack hooks up the legs, SNARE- NO, Okada fights the crossface, and he BITES Jack’s hand! The ref reprimands, Okada stops and Jack lets him go. Okada grins, then scoops! TOMB- NO, Jack BITES Okada’s thigh!! Maybe. Rollup, TWO!! Jack steps through, SNARE TRAP!! Okada is caught, but he reaches out! The fans fire up as Okada flails, and he’s turning red! Okada drags himself and Jack forward, to the ROPEBREAK!! Okada bails out, and he grabs a chair!? Jack CLOBBERS Okada! Jack has the chair, but says no, can’t do that. Jack puts Okada in, then he reels Okada in.
Okada fights the lift, then turns Jack to backslide. Roll through, short arm LARIAT! Okada isn’t done, and Don says time to punish Jack! Short arm- NO, Jack dodges, and he avoids the dropkick! Reset, and GLASS JAW- NO, Okada scoops! EMERALD FLOWSION!! Then the ripcord! RAINMAKER!! Cover, Okada wins!
Winner: Kazuchika Okada, by pinfall (gains 3 points; Jack earns 0)
Three matches in for Okada, he has another win and six points, but he’s still a step behind the leader. Will The Protostar stay spotless after a showdown with Speedball? As for The Rainmaker, Callis celebrates with him, and brings out the other family members in Rocky Romero, Josh Alexander, Mark Davis, Hechicero, CLØN, and even Konosuke Takeshita, but also the bags of money they won at Full Gear. The fans boo as Callis get a mic, and he says, “I have something important to say!” The fans boo harder, but Callis wants them to sit Jack up. The Family sits Jack up, and Callis says it is okay, guys. This kid’s a businessman, stand him up.
The fans boo and cuss out Callis, but he tells Jack that that was a fantastic match! The toughest match he’s seen Okada have in a long time. There is no shame in losing to Okada, Callis has a lot of respect for Jack. And watching the match, Callis remembers how last week, he tried to give The Young Bucks a million dollars. But he kinda thinks he offered that money to the wrong talent. The fans boo more, but Callis tells Jack that he has a proposal. Jack’s always been a great talent, but he lacks focus and direction. Jack lacks a team of athletes around him to support him! Callis is offering Jack a spot in the Don Callis Family!
But even more than that, he is prepared to grant Jack a one-time-only “signing bonus,” paid out of The Bucks’ prize money! The fans boo and tell Jack, “F HIS DEAL! F HIS DEAL!” Callis says c’mon, this is a great offer! We need an answer. And in case that is still not enough, well, what is Jack waiting for? This is the best opportunity of his life! And remember, there’s seven of them and one of him. Callis will cut those strings and put Jack in a wheelchair. Jack asks for the mic, Callis hands it over, and Rocky says do the right thing and take the deal. Fans chant “NO! NO! NO!” Jack tells Callis, “I have your answer. And it looks like for the second time tonight, I might bite off more than I can chew.”
Jack SMACKS Davis with the mic! And then he fires off on Rocky! The others swarm Jack, they mug him 6v1, but here comes Luchasaurus! The fans fire up for the big reinforcements! The Callis Family watches him, that’s still a 6v2 scenario! BUT WAIT! The Bucks slide in from the crowd side! And they’re armed with chairs! They SAMCK Davis, SMACK Alexander, JAM Okada, and so on and so forth! Callis runs away, but then Luchasaurus DOUBLE CHOKE SLAMS Hechi & Clon! Okada wants mercy from his old friends, but he gets a B T E TRIGGER instead!! Callis slithers back in just to grab the money, but Luchasaurus is right behind him!

Renee is with the Mad King and says he is going to be in tonight’s main event, competing for the AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe. She feels this is the moment we’ve all been waiting for since he came back, but how is he feeling heading into the match? Eddie says nervous, but that’s good, it keeps you on your toes. But what Eddie’s really been thinking about is that the GOAT, the late Terry Funk, it is the 50th anniversary of when he won the Worlds Championship. Eddie is hoping to make Terry proud, he hopes to make Mama & Papa Kingston proud. Okay, well, now we’re getting too emotional.
Renee says that’s okay to be emotional going into this. Well, yeah, cuz you never know how many times you’re gonna have a title shot like this. Eddie is 0-2 already, you just don’t know. Eddie wants to be cool right now, doesn’t wanna crash out, just wants to get to the match. But respect. Eddie knows Joe is watching, even as he’s probably stretching and warming up with The Opps. But Joe’s in the fight of his life, dawg, Eddie ain’t going down easy. The fans cheer that! Will we also be cheering when The Mad King finally has his crowning achievement?

He notes Eddie will get his shot in the main event, but let’s now welcome out the TNT Champion, Mark Briscoe! The fans cheer as the Sussex County Chicken makes his entrance, holding up the custom title as gifted to him by Orange Cassidy. We already know that this Saturday, on a special live-from-Cardiff Collision: Winter is Coming, that title is on the line against Daniel Garcia. The fans cheer as Briscoe steps into the ring and holds up the belt again. Schiavone says yes, an early start for Collision, and Briscoe defends against Garcia of the Death Riders. Briscoe says yessir, Schiavone, it wasn’t long ago that certain individuals were saying, “Mark Briscoe can’t get it done.”
They were saying Briscoe can’t win the big one, will never be a true champion. Well, Briscoe knows the haters are still out there, but we’re here in front of the fine folks in Atlanta, Georgia, baby! The fans cheer that! Briscoe says he’s got this nice piece of shiny hardware, so what does that tell ya? Schiavone says it means Briscoe’s the champion! The fans cheer that! Briscoe then says that the doubters are out there, but he will respectfully give them a very clear and concise message: “Y’all can kiss my big white ass!” The fans cheer that! Briscoe says now, it is one thing to become a champion, but it is another to reign, and defend, and to stay a champion.
It all starts Saturday afternoon on TNT! He will defend his title against Danny Garcia in Cardiff, Wales, and- Wheeler Yuta interrupts, and says he has to stop Briscoe here before he embarrasses himself. The fans boo Yuta but Yuta says Briscoe is the epitome of low hanging fruit. Briscoe wants to be the Face of TNT, but that face has less teeth than Briscoe has children! We don’t call Briscoe “Chicken” because he’s a coward, but also because he has the mental capacity of a chicken! The fans boo and cuss out Yuta, but Yuta ignores that. Garcia says that’s a good insult, Yuta, and Garcia is sure he’s got a lot of mean and hurtful things he could say, too.
Garcia steps into the ring to stare Briscoe down, and he says he won’t say any of those insults, because he actually feels bad for Briscoe. Looking him up and down, everything about Briscoe is just sad. But what’s gonna be even sadder is when Garcia beats Briscoe on Saturday, becomes as TWO-TIME TNT Champion, and Briscoe has to figure out how to provide for his family with a broken leg. The fans boo again, but Briscoe tells “Danny Boy,” that Saturday on TNT, Garcia’s got a ass-whoopin’ coming his way. The fans cheer that! Tonight, here and now, they’re on TBS. It’d be a damn shame to deprive the viewers in Hotlanta a whoopin’ right here!
So if Garcia is feeling brave, make a move. Garcia slaps the mic away, then shoves Briscoe! Briscoe DECKS Garcia! Marina & Yuta keep Garcia from going after Briscoe again! Garcia is furious, but the fans want to “LET THEM FIGHT! LET THEM FIGHT!” Briscoe holds up the title again, will he travel across the pond and travel right back still the Face of TNT?

Thekla avoids getting squashed like the spider she is, and Kris asks what happened! Don’t they wanna fight?! While Samoa Joe was the mastermind of the Full Gear screw job, The Millennial Cowboy & The Realest still owe the rest of The Opps for the betrayal and the disrespect shown since WrestleDream. And though they’re the unlikeliest of allies, could they become the most dangerous team AEW has ever seen? Or will The Wrestler & The Powerhouse show The Opps are #NeverLacking?
Well, speaking of never lacking, The Opps bring their dojo trainees with them as extra reinforcements. But then Hangman is making his entrance from the stands, not the ramp! And now Swerve’s entrance music begins, where is he going to enter from? Prince Nana is up in the stands, and he gets the chant started! “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Swerve is also coming in from the stands, and both he and Hangman are armed with those steel chains they strangled the trainees with! Shibata sends those pawns out after Hangman & Swerve, but they just get metal chain fists to the face! And STAPLES from Swerve!
The fans fire up as Swerve and Hangman each fight their way through the grunts, but now Shibata and Hobbs make their moves! Shibata struggles with Swerve over the staple gun, and one of the trainees takes the shot! Hobbs has a chair! Hangman avoids a shot, then fires off haymakers! This madness goes up higher into the crowd, then into the pavilion! Swerve sends Shibata into the wall! Then METAL FIST BODY SHOT! Hangman SMACKS Hobbs off the bar! And then he SMACKS Hobbs with the Christmas tree! Swerve CHOKES Shibata, SMACKS him off the merch table, but Hobbs then LOW BLOWS Hangman!
Hobbs does his best Stone Cold by two-fisting bears and chugging! Hobbs dumps the beer on Hangman, throws the tree away, and Shibata TOSSES Swerve over merch tables! But then Hangman scoops Hobbs! POWERSLAM through a TABLE! The fans fire up, Hangman gets himself a drink, and the fans cheer as he chugs it down. Shibata meanwhile makes Swerve take a seat, then throws hands. Shibata gets space, and he runs up to fake the dropkick and BOOT Swerve down instead! The fans boo but Shibata just soaks it up. The refs want this to get in the ring, they didn’t even officially start the match! But the fans don’t really mind while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Shibata CLUBS Swerve, but Swerve fireman’s carries him! SNAKE EYES off the railing! Swerve drags Shibata along to go down the bleachers now. Hangman and Hobbs are dangerously close to a ledge! Swerve and Shibata return to ground level, and Swerve BOWLS Shibata into chairs! Hangman gets away from Hobbs while Swerve drags Shibata up. Swerve makes Shibata take a seat, then he throws down hands! Hangman fires off on Hobbs! The fans fire up with Swerve as he runs up on Shibata, and he CALF KICKS! Hobbs ROCKS Hangman! Swerve drags Shibata up and continues towards ringside, THROWING him over the railing!
Hobbs fires headlock punches on Hangman, but Hangman BOOTS him in return! Swerve looks under the ring, and brings out a TABLE! Hangman HAMMERS away on Hobbs, the fans count along, and Hangman goes to TEN! Swerve SMACKS Shibata off the apron, then he puts him on the table as it leans against commentary. Dynamite returns to single picture, Swerve hops up onto the railing, but Shibata kicks the legs out! The fans boo, but then Hangman grabs a chair. Hangman stalks Hobbs into the ring while Shibata BOOTS Swerve over the railing! With Hangman and Hobbs in the ring, the match finally starts!
And then the ref takes the chair from Hangman! Tornado tag doesn’t automatically mean No Disqualification! The fans boo, but Hobbs then runs up to CLOBBER Hobbs! The fans boo but Hobbs snarls. Hobbs drags Hangman up, Shibata joins in, and Hobbs SLAMS Hangman down! Shibata suplexes Hangman, then Hobbs drags Hangman up to scoop and SLAM again! Shibata drags Hangman up to suplex again! The fans boo while Hangman flounders to the corner. Hobbs drags Hangman up, he and Shibata DOUBLE SUPLEX! Shibata stomps Hangman, the fans boo, but The Opps just soak it up. Shibata KNEES Hangman, then whips him to Hobbs for the LARIAT!
Hangman sputters to the corner, Shibata sends Hobbs in for the SPLASH! Shibata runs and HYDRAULIC DROPKICK! Then a HALF HATCH! Hangman RIPCORD POWERSLAMS! The fans boo but Shibata adds a PENALTY KICK! Shibata pretends he can’t hear the fans cheering Hangman, and so the fans boo Shibata. Shibata CLUBS Hangman, stands him up, and Hobbs runs up to BODY SHOT! The fans rally for Swerve but Hobbs sets up on the apron. Nana gets on the apron?! Nana asks why they gotta do this, but Hobbs grabs Nana by the jacket! But SWERVE is back! He BOOTS Hobbs down! Hangman TOSSES Shibata!
Hangman and Swerve look to each other, and they both DIVE! They take out Hobbs and Shibata, put them both in, and then Hangman LARIATS Hobbs and himself out of the ring! Shibata fires forearms on Swerve to sit him down in the corner, then runs corner to corner, but into a HIP TOSS! And gator roll, to the suplex, but Shibata lands out! Swerve avoids the leg sweep to BOOT Shibata! Swerve puts Shibata in the corner, UPPERCUTS, then snapmares so he can go up! FALLING UPPERCUT! Swerve hits the Griddy~! The fans fire up again and Swerve aims at Shibata. “Whose House?” “SWERVE HOUSE!” But Hobbs YANKS Swerve outta the ring!
But Hangman aims at Shibata now! Hangman BOOTS Shibata, slingshots, and BUCK- NO, Shibata slips around! Hobbs is arguing with the ref, so Shibata LOW BLOWS Hangman! The fans boo but Shibata flips Hangman into an ARMBAR! But Swerve CLOBBERS Hobbs into the steps! Swerve goes up while Hangman endures, and we get KILL STOMPS on Shibata!! All four men are down and the fans are thunderous! Swerve and Hangman both stir, then rise up. The fans rally up as Hobbs returns, and it is Hangman and Swerve throwing hands back to back! Shibata and Hobbs hit back, they brawl side by side!
Hobbs runs, but Hangman and Swerve both move! Hobbs CLOBBERS Shibata! Then Hangman and Swerve ROLLING ELBOW SANDWICH! Swerve feeds Shibata to Hangman, FALL AWAY SLAM! Shibata is in place for a 450 SPLASH! Hangman kips up, he dodges Hobbs, CLUB and ROLLING FLATLINER! The fans fire up as these rivals stare down. But for all the anger they have for each other, they both look at Hobbs! Hobbs says bring it then! Hangman & Swerve slide out, and they get Hobbs off the apron! POWERBOMB down through the table!! The fans go nuts, and now Hangman aims! Slingshot, BUCKSHOT on Shibata!!

It is first place facing last place as The Protostar and Speedball meet in the C2! Kyle is two matches in with six points, will he be a perfect 3-0? Or will the 0-1 do-or-die situation spur Bailey on towards the biggest upset so far?
The bell rings and the fans fire up as Kyle’s tearaway pants come off. Kyle and Bailey stare down, step up, and the fans duel. Kyle and Bailey nod, circle, and then tie up. Kyle powers Bailey to the ropes, backs off as the ref counts, but then swings! Bailey dodges, but Kyle blocks the rollup! Bailey avoids the stomp, but Kyle narrowly avoids a kick! The fans cheer as Kyle goes to the ropes. Bailey and Kyle stare down again, then reset to circle. They tie up, Kyle goes for the arm, then wrenches to a wristlock. Bailey rolls, handsprings, and wrenches to wristlock, hammerlock, then headlock. Kyle back suplexes, but Bailey lands out to hit a flying takeover!
Bailey tries to make this a cover, Kyle keeps his shoulders up, but Bailey pushes through, ONE as Kyle now ghost pins Bailey! TWO, and Bailey holds the headlock for a jump up the corner! Sunset flip, TWO! Kyle bails out and he’s frustrated, but Bailey eggs him on! The fans fire up all the same, and Kyle takes his time going around the outside. Kyle wants Bailey to get back, so the ref has Bailey give Kyle space. The fans rally and duel, Kyle steps onto the apron, but Bailey storms up. Kyle stays back again, and he hears the dueling. The fans boo but Kyle mocks the chants, “Speedball Bailey~!” Then he stomps Bailey! Fans agree they like “Both These Guys!” but Kyle still stomps Bailey again! Kyle whips, Bailey handsprings, and Bailey jumps right over the sweep! Bailey ducks ‘n’ dodges, goes up and FLYING RANAS! Kyle tumbles out, Bailey kips up, and Bailey runs to not wreck with a dropkick but FLYING RANA again! Kyle is as shocked as he is in pain, and the fans are thunderous! Bailey goes up a corner, waits for Kyle to get in, and he CROSSBODIES! But Kyle catches him! BACKBREAKER and FULL NELSON SLAM! The fans fire up again while Kyle checks his jaw.

The fans fire up again, and Bailey SHOOTING STAR FLOPS as Kyle moves! Kyle deadlifts Bailey, but Bailey knees free! Bailey runs up, Kyle dodges, but Bailey DUMPS Kyle out! Bailey then ASAI TORNILLOS! The fans fire up as Kyle goes down!
Bailey drags Kyle up, puts him in the ring, but Kyle rolls out the far side. The fans boo but Bailey pursues! Bailey runs up, but Kyle SUPERKICKS! Kyle reels Bailey in, but Bailey fights the suplex! Bailey fires body shots, and he hoists Kyle up to SLAM him on the barrier! Bailey CLUBS away on Kyle, then Bailey climbs up! But Kyle anchors Bailey’s foot! Kyle stands, scoops, and MICHINOKU DRIVER on the barriers!! The fans lose their minds while both men are down, and Dynamite goes picture in picture!
Both men writhe, their backs killing them after that rough landing on the narrow target. Kyle leaves Bailey behind to roll into the ring, so now Bailey fights the ring count. Bailey rises at 5 of 10, but he slumps against the apron. Bailey is still down at 8, but he springs back in at 9! Kyle watches from the corner, and he runs up to PENALTY KICK! Cover, TWO!! Bailey survives and Kyle is annoyed. Kyle paces around Bailey, drags him up, and TOSSES him out! Kyle goes out to reposition the steel steps! Kyle drags Bailey up, reels him in, and brings him up the steps! But Bailey fights the lift to sit Kyle down! Kyle shoves Bailey away, but Bailey LEAPS off the steps!
But Kyle catches him again! Kyle aims for the corner, but Bailey pops up to POISON-RANA to the floor!! Both men are down again and the ref hurries to check them both. They’re both okay to continue, and Kyle drags himself into the ring. Bailey follows, and Dynamite returns to single picture. Both men go to the apron again, and Kyle fires forearms! The fans rally up, and Bailey fires a forearm! They go back and forth, shot for shot, faster and faster! The fans are fired up again, then Kyle SUPERKICKS! And HALF- NO, Bailey fights the lift and he trips Kyle! Then APRON KNEE-SAULT!! The fans are thunderous again while Kyle sputters!
“This is Awesome!” as Bailey rolls into the ring. Bailey waits on Kyle as Kyle crawls back inside. Kyle staggers to the corner, and Bailey HELLUVA KICKS! Bailey puts Kyle up, Kyle fights the Flamingo! But Bailey GAMANGIRIS! Bailey goes up top, and SUPER STEINERS! Kyle lands hard, Bailey goes up, and ULTIMO- BOOTS!! Kyle hits Bailey first, then scoops to LAWN DART in the corner! Then a lift, LAST RIDE POWERBOMB!! Cover, TWO?!? Bailey survives and shocks everyone! Kyle hurries to get Bailey back up, but his own back fails him! The fans are thunderous for “A E DUB! A E DUB!” and Kyle roars!
Kyle stomps away on Bailey’s head and back! Kyle hobbles, but he snarls and brings Bailey back up. Bailey breaks free to CHOP! Bailey drops to a knee, Kyle brushes himself off, and Kyle CHOPS! Kyle eggs Bailey on, and fans again ignore the time limit as they hope these two “FIGHT FOREVER!” Bailey CHOPS! Kyle CHOPS! The fans rally up, and Bailey winds up, to CHOP! Kyle sputters and staggers and the fans are loving this! Bailey puts his hands back to dare Kyle to go again! Kyle SUPER- NO, Bailey swats that kick! Kyle avoids the thrust kick, swats the foot down, then BOOTS Bailey! SNAP HALF ‘N’ HALF!
Kyle runs, but into a COLLISION COURSE!! Cover, TWO!! Kyle escapes, but Bailey runs up, PENALTY- NO! Kyle avoids the kick! And he avoids the moonsault! But Bailey escapes the lift! What is next for Hangman is the thing that has always been “next” for him: The All Elite Wrestling Men’s World Championship. Joe, Eddie, Hangman will be watching the main event. But regardless of who leaves the champion tonight, at World’s End, Hangman is coming for them, and he is coming for HIS world championship. Then just who will The Cowboy be aiming for? We’re about to find out as that main event is moments away!

Matt says, “So I guess it’s official then. Next week in Manchester, Don Callis Family VS The Young Bucks in Trios action, for ALL the money. The only problem is, uh, we need a partner.” Nick asks, “What do you say, big man? Huh?” Luchasaurus is there, and he thinks about it. He shakes his head and says, “Uh-uh.” Because he points to the door of KENNY OMEGA! Well, alright, good point. The Bucks knock on the door, Kenny answers, and he asks what’s up. They ask about doing this trios thing one more time. One more time? Well, there’s a lot of money on the line… Kenny says yeah, that is a lot of money.
But Kenny isn’t gonna do this for the money. This is about Don Callis and his “family,” so he’ll do it for free. Simple as that: The Elite VS The Don Callis Family, all the money on the line. But will they ride off into a Manchester sunset with both money and satisfaction? Or will The Jackal have everything he wants and more?
AEW World Championship: Samoa Joe w/ Hook VS Eddie Kingston!
It is the moment of truth! The Samoan Submission Machine doesn’t care about the man he was in everyone’s eyes, he only cares about being the man on top of the mountain. But will Joe stay at the peak through this harsh Winter? Or will The Mad King send him toppling back to the bottom?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see which king reigns in AEW!
The bell rings, the two circle, and they feel things out with testing kicks and jabs. The fans all rally behind Eddie as he and Joe tie up. Joe digs his wrist into Eddie’s face, puts him in the corner, but Eddie turns it around. The ref counts, Eddie backs off cleanly and the fans applaud. Joe and Eddie reset, circle, and feel things out again. They tie up collar ‘n’ elbow, Eddie headlocks, but Joe powers up and out. The fans cheer Eddie but Hook trips him up! The fans boo and Eddie protests, but the ref says he’s got this. The ref EJECTS the Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil! The fans cheer and Hook storms off in a huff.
Eddie and Joe reset while the fans cheer “Hey hey hey, goodbye~!” Joe and Eddie tie up again, Eddie headlocks, but Joe powers up. Eddie holds on tight so Joe can’t power out! Joe fights up again, powers up and SAIDOS! Eddie tumbles to ropes and is already dazed from that throw. Joe waits on Eddie to stand, and then JABS him down! And JABS again! And JABS again! And again and again and again! Joe ELBOWS Eddie down, then stalks him to ropes. Joe bumps Eddie off buckles, but Eddie fires a body shot! Joe KNEES Eddie low, CLUBS away on Eddie’s neck, then stops as the ref counts. Joe whips corner to corner, but Eddie reverses to KNEE low!
Eddie then runs and BULLDOGS Joe down! The fans fire up as Eddie shakes out his arm and stalks Joe to a corner. Eddie snarls and fights through the pain while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Eddie storms up on Joe to CHOP! And CHOP! Eddie then cravats Joe, Joe endures, but Eddie puts on more pressure. Joe fights up but Eddie fires knees! Eddie then point-blank LARIATS Joe down! Eddie goes to a corner, but he comes back to clamp onto Joe with a neck wrench! Joe backs up to the ROPEBREAK! Eddie lets go quickly, and he brings Joe up to put him in the corner. Eddie RAMS Joe again and again, then CHOPS! Joe walks it off, then comes back to CHOP Eddie! Eddie CHPOS again! Joe CHOPS again! Eddie staggers to the ropes, but he nods and comes back to CHOP! Joe CHOPS again! The CHOPS go back and forth!
Eddie staggers, that last one got him up high. Joe brings Eddie around to fire forearms, then UPPERCUTS! Joe runs, but Eddie CHOPS him down! Now Joe is stinging from that one! Eddie shakes out his arms, then stalks Joe to a corner. Eddie clamps onto Joe, then throws down hands, Eddie CHOPS, Joe CHOPS, so Eddie CHOPS again! Eddie ROCKS Joe with a haymaker, then follows Joe to another corner. Eddie CHOPS, and Joe staggers before dropping to a knee. Dynamite returns to single picture once more, Eddie drags Joe up, and Eddie ROCKS him with a forearm! Joe ELBOWS Eddie, ROCKS him, but Eddie fires fast hands!
Eddie UPPERCUTS Joe and the fans fire up again! Joe tumbles to the ropes, Eddie storms up and KICKS him in the back! Eddie eggs Joe on while he kicks and scuffs him. Joe stands up to KICK and KICK and KICK in return! Eddie fires a flurry of forearms! Joe fires back! Eddie fires fast hands again! Then a SLAP! But Joe fires a furious flurry in return! Joe SMACKS Eddie, then runs, but into a LARIAT!! The fans are thunderous while Eddie leans on the ropes. The ref checks Eddie, Eddie is a bit dazed, but he’s otherwise still in this. Joe manages to stand, and Eddie runs in! But into the URENAGE! Joe wobbles a bit but he has a wry smile.
Joe waits for Eddie to be in the corner, and he runs up to ELBOW and PELE! Eddie slumps down, but Joe steps on him! The fans boo and the ref counts, but Joe scrubs Eddie’s face with his foot. Joe runs side to side to BOOT WASH! The fans boo while Eddie clutches his face. Eddie crawls to ropes, Joe sits on him to CHOKE him! The ref counts, Joe steps off at 4, and Eddie flounders around again. Joe stalks Eddie while the fans rally as hard as they can. Joe CHOPS and JABS Eddie, then HEADBUTTS him down! Eddie sputters but he sits back up. Joe drags Eddie up to ROCK him, ROCK him again, but Eddie CHOPS! Joe fires another forearm!
Eddie wobbles, but he fires up to CHOP, CHOP, and run, to LARIAT! But Joe is still up! Eddie runs again, another LARIAT! Joe is still standing, so Eddie runs, but into the SNAP POWERSLAM! Cover, TWO! Eddie survives the sudden turnaround and the fans rally up as hard as they can for him! Joe is annoyed by that, and he drags Eddie up to knee again and again! Eddie fires up to CHOP, CHOP, CHOP! But Joe fires more of those knees! Eddie roars to CHOP, CHOP, CHOP! Joe gives Kawada Kicks now! Eddie is dazed again, Joe runs, but into an EXPLODER!! Cover, TWO!!! Joe survives and Eddie is frustrated, but the fans continue to rally!
Eddie drags Joe up, reels him in, but Joe wrenches out! Joe fireman’s carries, DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! Then he turns Eddie over STF!! Joe is shouting out the Never-Seen Seventeen, and he even salutes! But Eddie BITES Joe’s hand!! Joe freaks out, the ref reprimands, but Eddie kicks low and DDTS! But Joe flops out of the ring! Joe survives perhaps on luck alone! Eddie hurries out after Joe, drags him up, and he puts Joe in the ring. Eddie hurries back in now, and he brings down the straps! The fans fire up for the URA- NO, Joe blocks the punch to HEADBUTT! Joe runs, but Eddie SWATS the lariat to CUTTER!
The fans fire up and Eddie winds up! URAK- NO, Joe ducks! COQUINA CLUTCH!!! Eddie is caught in the body scissors, too!! The fans rally as hard as they can, but Eddie is already fading! EDDIE TAPS!!! JOE WINS!!!
Winner: Samoa Joe, by submission (still AEW World Champion)
Eddie put up the fight of his life, but he sadly could not dethrone Samoa Joe! Was Joe right? Will Eddie never live up to his fullest potential? And as for Joe himself, Hangman already said he’s coming back for this title. Will they go one more round at World’s End?
My Thoughts:
An awesome Winter is Coming for Dynamite, they pulled out all the stops to make this borderline a free PPV. The Women’s Tag Team Championships opening was the right choice, that was awesome stuff from all four women. Truly awesome for Harley & Willow to win and be the inaugural champions. I loved their little celebration backstage with Conglomeration and pouty Roddy, too, that was a nice touch. And of course, awesome stuff in both Continental Classic matches we got tonight. Bailey VS Fletcher was itself PPV worthy, and I did NOT think Bailey was winning, so that is awesome in itself.
Okada VS Perry was about how I expected, though, and I appreciate it feeding into the larger Don Callis Family VS Elite story. Jack turning DCF down was good stuff, and I liked that the Bucks got the money back, but of course Callis wasn’t going to just accept that. Don Callis foolishly thinking Okada and Takeshita are still going to work together is a dead giveaway his team is losing, but so is the fact Kenny Omega is the third man. The Elite will win, have the money, and could even make this a resurgence towards titles. If that were to happen, it should be the Trios titles so they can feud with The Opps while DCF and Death Riders act on the feuds they teased.
Swerve & Hangman VS Shibata & Hobbs was a great tornado tag, though obviously it was more a glorified brawl that then turned into a match. Great win for Hangman & Swerve, and of course Hangman wants his shot next, but I feel like he and Swerve will end up literally fighting over that shot. I thought the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royal was gonna be the route, but maybe neither of them wins that, someone else is poised for Maximum Carnage, and we still get Joe VS Hangman in 2025 Round 3 to determine who also goes to Maximum Carnage. Also, I’m very curious if MJF is going to return for the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royal to retain the one thing he’s always had while in AEW. Personally, even if he does return, he should lose so that someone else can finally have that ring.
Though MJF would of course want to come back for revenge on Mark Briscoe, wouldn’t he? Briscoe had a very good promo with Garcia to hype up their TNT Championship match this Saturday. Moxley and Garcia also had a good promo beforehand, and I feel like we’re just one more loss away for Moxley’s leadership to be truly in question. If Moxley doesn’t win the C2, him having to fight for his leadership role in the faction he helped make would be a great part of World’s End. Either Claudio or Pac should step up to be the new leader if that happens, they’re the experienced veterans and can certainly give Moxley one hell of a match.
Joe VS Eddie was definitely one hell of a match, too, but it felt pretty clear that Eddie wasn’t winning. As much as fans rally like Eddie, it just doesn’t seem to be Eddie’s time to be AEW World Champion. At this point, I think the story needs to be Eddie and Hook having it out over how Hook betrayed Eddie as much as he did everyone else. Even if Eddie doesn’t want to, I could see Hook egging him on and beating him up until Eddie has no choice but to fight Hook and maybe humble him, if only for a moment. If Eddie isn’t going to be a world champion, he’ll be a guy who does great story and teaches life lessons.

A real shame about Darby Allin, but that’s assuming this is real and not kayfabe for the story. Jack Perry is a good choice for subbing him in since he’s feuding with the Don Callis Family alongside the newly reunited Elite. And great upset win for Dorada over Claudio this week, too. Claudio and Moxley have already had three of their five matches, they might be given a week off so Jack Perry and Mike Bailey can get their matches in, and I would also hope the Death Riders start considering their options given Moxley keeps losing more than he’s winning.
