In this form of Fatal 4 Way, only two teams are legal at a time. Austin steps up for the Bang Bang Gang and Bowens insists Caster step down. Bowens and Austin tie up, Bowens headlocks for the takeover, but Austin headscissors. Bowens kips free, Austin headscissors, but Bowens kips free. Bowens sweeps, covers, ONE! Austin sweeps, covers, ONE! Arm-drags cancel out, Bowens sends Austin tot he corner, but Austin goes up and over. Austin ducks ‘n’ dodges, then he trips Bowens! Austin swaggers while the fans fire up, and Austin JABS, JABS, JABS! Austin winds up, “GUNNS UP!” Then he DECKS Bowens!

Austin says “SUCK IT!” and the fans fire up. Austin whips, Bowens ducks ‘n’ doges, and he turns arm-drag into DDT! The fans fire up with their hometown boy, but then Caster steps forward. “Let’s Go, Max, You’re The Best Wrestler Alive!” The fans join in, then Caster tags! Caster taunts Bowens, but then Juice tags in! Juice atomic drops Caster! And then RUSSIAN LEG SWEEPS! The fans cheer, and Juice hits a SENTON! Juice taunts Big Bill, covers Caster, TWO! Juice and his sweet mullet brings Caster up, Truth Magnum tags in as Caster powers out. Juice is TOSSED, Truth DROPKICKS Caster, but then Bill tags in!

Truth is wary, but he dodges Bill to COHP, CHOP, CHOP! Bill SHOVES Truth to the corner, Truth dodges to CHOP, CHOP, and CHOP! Bill shoves Truth down, then puts him on the apron! Keith storms up, Truth DECKS him, but then Bill BLASTS Keith! Keith stomps away on Truth, Caster joins in just because, and Tailgate Brawl goes picture in picture.

Turbo Floyd storms over, Caster backs off, but Keith puts Truth in the ring. Keith taunts Juice, Bill CHOPS Truth, then Keith tags in. The former Learning Tree mugs Truth, and Keith CHOPS Truth. Tag back to Bill, they mug Truth some more, and Bill drags Truth up to bump off buckles. Bill tags Keith back in, the mugging continues, and Keith snapmares Truth down for a KNEE DROP! Cover, TWO! Keith shoves Truth down again to cover, TWO! Truth toughs it out but Keith keeps him from Turbo. Keith powers Truth to the corner, Tailgate Brawl returns to single picture, and Keith CHOPS! But Truth hits back!

Both men stumble, Bill hurries to stop Truth, and Bill whips Truth to the corner. Bill runs in, but Truth dodges! Bill hits buckles and post! Truth crawls, the fans rally, Keith looks and tags Bowens while Truth tags Turbo! Turbo rallies on everyone else! Scoop and SLAM for Caster! Scoop SLAM for Keith! Scoop SLAM for Austin! But then Big Bill gets up, so Turbo DROPKICKS him! Truth joins in, the Outrunners SPLASH! Then BULLDOG LARIAT COMBO! A scoop SLAM for Juice, and the fans fire up with the Outrunners! They wind it up, and “Turbo Floyd! You Sonovab*tch!” They handshake and DOUBLE ELBOW DROP on Keith!

The fans fire up, but then Bowens FAMOUSERS Turbo! Caster brawls with Truth, has him in a corner, and whips corner to corner. Bowens forearm SMASHES, Caster ELBOWS, and repeat! Feed to the scoop and the SLAM! Caster holds Truth open and it’s just like old times! SCISSOR ME- NO, Keith HEADBUTTS Bowens first! Caster fights Keith off, Keith shoves him away, but Caster BOOTS back! Bowens his the ARRIVAL! Caster is up top, MIC DROP!! The fans fire up and Bowens looks to Caster. Caster wants to do it! The fans want to see it! But Bill BOOTS Caster down! Bowens dodges, dodges again, and slips free of the Blackhole Slam!

Bowens fires off Rock, Paper, Scissors, SUPERKICK! Juice runs up to roll Bowens, with a bridge, BANG BANG GANG WINS!

Bowens and Caster are stunned! Just as they were on the verge of being The Acclaimed again, they get sniped! Will Austin put all that money away in the 401K like Juice suggested? Will Caster and Bowens ever figure out how to be friends again?

 

Samoa Joe speaks.

Standing in front of trainees from the new “Opps Dojo,” Joe says there is a tale being told. That The Hangman has taken out all the pieces, and Joe stands here alone. But Hangman finds out tonight exactly how “alone” Joe is. See, what stands behind him is a representation of a movement of men who have been cast aside and pushed asunder. Men of merit, men of violence, and men who exemplify The Opps. Tonight, Joe walks to the ring NOT on his own. No, he walks with a movement and an army behind him. An army of wayward soldiers who live by their code. An army of men resistant to your best efforts, and completely dedicated to destroying all that opposes them.

Tonight, Hangman, you will learn the extent of what this movement truly incapsulates. Joe has stacked the deck, but will any of these pawns be able to make him king?

 

Tailgate Brawl – QT Marshall & Big Boom AJ VS Roppongi Vice!

Though they weren’t friends before, these two Italian American Jersey boys have been united by their common enemies, the Don Callis Family! Will it be #Boom&Doom for RPG Vice? Or will QT & AJ fail to bring down #JustTrent & Azucar?

The teams sort out but the brawl is on, so the bell rings! Trent CLAWS QT’s face, AJ fires off on Rocky, it looks a bit like Thursday night. Rocky turns things around so he can throw hands on AJ, then he and Trent coordinate. They whip, but QT & AJ reverse, RPG Vice collide! And now “BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!” JAB after JAB, and then UPPERCUTS! AJ brings Rocky up, tags QT in, and they double whip Rocky to the corner. AJ whips QT so QT can whip AJ in for a LARIAT! The fans cheer, and then QT handsprings to back elbow! QT sends Rocky to AJ’s POWERSLAM! The fans cheer as AJ then LARIATS Rocky up and out!

Trent is up but QT UPPERCUTS him down! QT & AJ coordinate, and AJ wants QT to build speed! The fans rally for it, QT accepts, and AJ gives him the boost to FLY! Down goes RPG Vice! Big Justice, Rizzler & Aaron Solow all say, “BOOM~!” QT gets Trent up, ROCKS him, and AJ fires off on Rocky. Trent hits back, but QT blocks the apron bump, and Tailgate Brawl goes picture in picture.

QT SMACKS Trent off the apron, then hurries into the ring. AJ puts Rocky in for him, QT covers, TWO! QT drags Rocky up, brings him around, and ROCKS him! Rocky goes to a corner, QT whips Rocky, but Rocky reverses. QT ducks ‘n’ dodges, but Trent DUMPS QT out! The ref reprimands but he also has to stop AJ from getting in. Trent CLOBBERS QT behind the ref’s back! Trent soaks up heat before he stands QT up. Rocky DIVES and down goes QT! The ref again has to keep AJ back, RPG Vice soak up heat before they high-five. Even Don Callis steps on QT! The ref insists on keeping AJ back, and RPG Vice puts QT back in the ring.

Rocky drags QT up, scoops and SLAMS him, then he tags Trent. Trent takes his time winding up, and he slingshots for a face scrape! The ref reprimands but Trent tags Rocky. Rocky basement DROPKICKS, then he does his soccer slide celebration. Rocky blows a kiss, and he stalks QT. Rocky tags Trent back in, they mug QT, then Trent digs his boot in. The ref counts, Trent backs off, but QT fires hands! QT DECKS Rocky but Trent kicks and TORNADO DDTS! Trent looms over QT while he soaks up more heat. Trent takes too long, though, and QT LARIATS him down! The fans rally while QT crawls, but Rocky YANKS AJ down!

Trent drags AJ away, he tags Rocky, and Rocky drops a KNEE on QT’s face! Rocky clamps onto QT with a chinlock and thrashes him around. QT endures and Tailgate Brawl returns to single picture. QT fights up as the fans rally, but Rocky leans on the hold. QT is fading, the ref checks, and QT gets a second wind! QT fires body shots, Rocky shoves him to the corner, and Rocky runs up! QT ducks and Ricky BLASTS Trent! QT runs up but Rocky TOSSES him up and out! Rizzler hurries to coach QT up and the fans cheer. But then Rocky bullies Rizzler! So Big Justice gets in Rocky’s face! The fans cheer the boys on, but then Trent steps to Justice!

The ref tells RPG Vice to back off, but Trent SHOVES Justice! But now PAUL WIGHT gets up off commentary! RPG Vice runs away to get QT in the ring, and Wight helps Justice to his feet. Rocky throws hands on QT, then whips him, but QT handsprings! NEURALIZER KICK! Both men are down and the fans fire up! QT crawls, as does Rocky, hot tags to Trent and AJ! The fans fire up as AJ fires off “BOOM!” after “BOOM!” LARIAT on Trent! POWERSLAM on Rocky! Then a scoop and OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE for Trent! AJ then gets Rocky up to whip, but Rocky KCIKS back! Rocky runs, but into a military press!

The fans fire up as AJ DROPS Rocky! Then he clinches Trent, full nelson and SLAM! Cover, Rocky breaks it! The fans boo but Rocky drags AJ up. Rocky whips AJ but AJ ELBOWS him back! AJ then TOSSES Rocky up and out! The fans fire up and AJ powers up! AJ reels Trent in, but Trent wrenches out to SUPERKICK! AJ goes to the corner, stumbles around, but Trent runs, into a SPINEBUSTER! AJ fires up and the fans are with him! But now Don Callis gets off commentary! The fans boo as The Jackal shouts at AJ! AJ shouts back, but that lets Trent CLOBBER AJ with his cast!! Trent winds up from the corner as AJ rises, BUSAIKU KNEE!! Cover, TWO!!!

The fans fire up as AJ survives! Justice & Rizzler watch closely as RPG Vice sets AJ up! STRONG ZERO!!! Cover, QT MACHO ELBOWS it apart!! Callis protests that “cheap shot” but QT then runs up to DIAMOND- NO, Rockys tops the cutter! SLICED BREAD! Rocky then winds up, ONE-EVER LARIAT! TWO-EVER LARIAT! THREE-EVER! FOUR-EVER! Rocky gives some Latino Heat, and he uses part of Trent’s busted cast! But BIG JUSTICE gets in! The fans fire up as Justice says just try it! Kick and CUTTER!! The fans fire up and Justice hurries away! AJ rises up, but Trent GRABS Justice! Paul Wight DECKS Trent!

Backstage interview with Don Callis, Josh Alexander & The Young Bucks.

Alex Marvez is with The Jackal, The Walking Weapon, and Matt & Nick Jackson as he says that was a rough start to tonight for The Family. Is Callis worried about momentum being affected moving into Full Gear? Callis says not at all, because at the end of the night, The Callis Family will have three new members. Kyle Fletcher will defeat Mark Briscoe to add him to the family, and then the Young Bucks here will officially announce they’re joining up. How are they feeling? Good night tonight, right? Matt says everything changes tonight. One million dollars on the line, it will be back to the old glory days for him and Nick.

Callis says technically $1 million minus his initial investment of party favors. Right, of course, they will pay their debts, but even then, The Bucks will still have money. Alexander says this isn’t just about money. This is about making dreams come true! Like ending Kenny Omega! Alexander already took Ibushi’s leg, he already took Nakazawa’s leg, third time is the charm. Alexander ends Kenny just for Callis! What a treat! Because then they’ll also have the CMLL World Trios Championships with the all-star team of Hechicero, Konosuke Takeshita, and Kazuchika Okada! But Marvez says Okada has not arrived yet.

Callis hesitates, but he says don’t worry about that. The Rainmaker is always where he needs to be when he needs to be there. But Matt says that’s a good point from Marvez, he has not seen or heard from Okada all day. Could it be because he doesn’t wanna team with Takeshita? Nick says Konosuke’s a good guy, but he could see why Okada doesn’t like him. Callis says maybe it is because The Bucks have not been very responsive to Okada. Let’s not worry about the what and why, just trust that Okada will be here and deliver like always. Now, if we need anything further… GIFT! Callis has one big box and says what is inside is money!

No, not actual money. But how about they try these on? The Bucks head out, what kind of ring gear did Callis get them? And will everything (not) be alright for The Don Callis Family?

The Mad King & Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil are feeling good after putting together win after win, and now they’re all fired up being in their backyard of New Jersey. But will they feel great after a win here at the Tailgate?

Well, why wait for a bell? JD Drake & Anthony Henry meet them at the ramp and the brawl is on! The fans fire up, but Drake sends Eddie into railing and Henry puts Hook in the ring. The bell sounds, Hook whips Henry, but Henry KNEE SMASHES Hook, to then POP-UP KNEE! Henry sends Hook to the corner, Drake LARIATS, Henry NECK TWISTS! Drake tags in and slingshot SENTONS! The fans boo but Drake stands Hook up. Drake CHOPS Hook against the ropes, but Hook fires off fast hands! Drake shoves and SPINEBUSTERS Hook in return! Cover, TWO! Drake snarls, drags Hook up, and DECKS him!

The fans rally for Hook but Drake CHOPS him against the ropes! Tag to Henry, the Workhorsemen double whip, but Hook ducks the lariats! He shoves Henry into Drake, then hits an EXPLODER on Henry! The fans fire up, Hook tags Eddie, and the fans really fire up! Eddie & Hook DOUBLE BACK SUPLEX Drake! Henry fires off on Eddie , but Eddie ducks the buzzsaw to DDT! Cover, Hook catches Drake, REDRUM!! Eddie & Hook win!

Tailgate Brawl – CMLL World Trios Championships: El Sky Team VS Kazuchika Okada, Hechicero & Konosuke Takeshita!

Just as Don Callis said, his all-stars are looking to take down the lucha all-stars that are Mistico, Neon y Mascara Dorada. However, as Alex Marvez said, Okada has not arrived. Does he hate Konosuke that much that he won’t even TRY to win another title? Or will he be fashionably late to the Tailgate?

Wait, Konosuke & Hechi attack on their own! They dump Mistico, Dorada y Neon out of the ring, then throw them around! Hechi THROWS Mistico at steel steps! Konosuke whips Neon into railing! Hechi CHUCKS a chair at Mistico! The fans are torn and Alex Abrahantes tries to help his amigos, but Hechi wrenches Mistico’s arm to hammerlock and POST it! Hechi DIGS the chair into Mistico’s arms! And he bends Mistico’s arm against the chair! And SNAPS it!! The fans boo but Hechi says no, he only did a little damage, let the match continue. Konosuke beats up on Dorada in the ring while Doc Sampson checks Mistico.

Dorada endures the chinlock and the fans rally up. The bell finally rings to make this a match, and now it seems to be a 2v2 for the trios titles! Konosuke wrenches Dorada’s arm, he and Hechi double whip, but Dorada turns things around! Neon GAMANGIRIS Hechi, Dorada hops on, but Konosuke throws him away! Neon FLYING RANAS! Dorada FLYING ARM-DRAGS! Hechi & Konosuke tumble out and regroup, but El Sky Team DOUBLE DIVES! Down go The Alchemist & Alpha, Neon y Dorada stomp away on them as payback for everything, but wait! A car is pulling up! Okada IS here! And already dressed to compete?!

Okada takes his time going from parking lot to gorilla, Konosuke says forget him and focus on the opponents. Hechi & Konosuke mug Dorada, then they mug Neon, and we’re about to transition into the PPV! Is Okada gonna make everyone shift into Full Gear?! Didn’t we just get this with WrestleDream!? Well, either way, the pyro goes off to kick off the show, and Neon brawls with Hechi! Konosuke DECKS Dorada, Hechi drags Neon out of the ring, and Konosuke stomps away in the corner. Konosuke digs his knee into Dorada, stops as the ref counts, and NOW Okada makes his entrance! Konosuke is annoyed but everyone else cheers.

Konosuke stares Okada down, but that lest Dorada get up! Dorada rolls Konosuke up, TWO!! Konosuke TOSSES Dorada, mockingly applauds for Okada, and Hechi KICKS Neon! Hechi then tells Okada and Konosuke to focus on winning the titles! Okada offers a handshake, Konosuke accepts, but then Okada flips Konosuke off! But Dorada y Neon SHOVE them into each other! Then they fire off kick, kicks, and DOUBLE DROPKICKS on Hechi! They send Konosuke and Okada into each other again, then they go up top! But both Okada and Konosuke trip them up! They both climb up, but Dorada y Neon both resist!

Dorada y Neon fight back, Okada and Konosuke fire forearms and headbutts, but El Sky Team still resists! Okada ROCKS Dorada, Konosuke CLAWS Neon’s eyes through the mask, and Konosuke hops down. Okada still works on Dorada but here comes Mistico! The fans fire up as as the team leader toughs it out! He GAMANGIRIS Hechi, then springboards to FLYING RANA! And he runs, docks ‘n’ dodges, then flips through to DOUBLE BACK ELBOW! The fans fire up as Mistico sends Okada into Takeshita, dodges Okada, 619 on Konosuke! GAMANGIRI on Okada! DOUBLE CROSSBODY on them both!

The fans fire up and Mistico dodges again. Mistico RANAS Konosuke away, then knuckle locks Okada to CHOP! Mistico goes up, up, and tightrope walks to FLYING ARM-DRAG! The fans fire up again and here comes Hechi! Hechi wants that bad arm but Mistico dodges to jump up! Hechi tries a torture rack but Mistico flips through to RANA! The fans fire up again and Mistico builds speed to DIVE! Hechi hits the desk! The fans fire up with Mistico and he keeps moving! CROSSBODY on Konsouke, then a tilt-o-whirl and LA MYSTICA!! But Okada beats up Mistico, then he beats up Konosuke! Then he TOSSES Konosuke!

Okada grins, but Neon KICKS and SUPERKICKS! Neon whips, Okada reverses, but Neon handsprings over! But Okada DROPKICKS him down! Okada grins as he drags Neon up, ripcords, but Neon ducks the lariat! Neon knuckle locks, CHOPS, and goes up, up, and around to FLYING ARM-DRAG! Konosuke is back but Neon BOOTS him! Neon runs up, Konosuke pops him up, and spins him around, to then wheelbarrow and BASTARD DRIVER! Then GERMAN SUPLEX! The fans fire up and Konosuke takes aim! But Okada ripcords Neon! Neon uses that to send Okada at Konosuke! Konosuke and Okada argue, Neon runs up, Okada BOOTS him!

Konosuke ROCKS Neon, flips off Okada, and RAGING- NO, Okada stops it?! And he suplexes Neon, but Konosuke stops it! They start big doggin’ each other, but Dorada SUPERKICKS Konosuke! Wheelbarrow on Okada, but Okada ripcords! Dorada ducks, RAINMAKER on Konosuke!! Okada grins, but Dorada tilt-o-whirl RANAS! Hechi returns but Dorada y Neon double kick! They whip, Hechi reverses, but Neon SUPERKICKS! Dorada SUPERKICKS! Neon goes up to FLYING RANA! Dorada runs and FRONT FLIP RANAS! Then Dorada and Neon go up! DOUBLE ARIHARA MOONSAULTS! Down go Okada and Konosuke!

The fans fire up and now Mistico aims at Hechi! Tilt-o-whirl ARM-DRAG! Cover, TWO!! Hechi escapes but the fans rally! RANA and cover, TWO! Hechi escapes again but the fans continue to rally for Mistico. Mistico runs at the ropes, 619!! Hechi sputters, Mistico LA MAGISTROL, TWO!! Hechi escapes but Mistico keeps moving, Hechi sends him tot he corner, STEP-UP KNEE and fast hands! The fans are torn, but Hechi lifts Mistico for a- NO, Misticio spins it to a POISON-RANA! And then a tilt-o-whirl, LA MYSTICA!! HECHI TAPS, El Sky Team wins!!

For those keeping score, the Don Callis Family is 0-2 on the night. Okada “apologizes” to Konosuke, maybe they could’ve won here if they just put their differences aside. Callis has Konosuke calm it down, and he hugs it out with both his guys. Can the Family turn this around with the TNT Championship and the $1 Million Trios match? Or will it just be insult to injury with the rest of tonight?

 

Life is about choices.

Each choice interlocks into the next, setting in motion all that moves us forward. Whether positive direction or negative is all subjective. But these choices have consequences. PAC VS Darby Allin!

The Death Riders may have lost Blood & Guts, but The Bastard enjoyed what he did to the Relentless One. But he’s also daring Darby to prove that nickname is right. Will Darby come back to have one more straight-up singles match with Pac? Will this be a straight-up singles match and not just another Death Rider death trap?

Darby’s vignette this time is him, bandaged up and in a hospital bed, watching retro filter footage of everything that’s happened to him in this war with the Death Riders, until he up and SMASHES the CRT television with a baseball bat! Darby then makes his entrance, still bandaged up and still dragging that bat. The fans cheer Darby on, and Darby stares down Pac at the bell. Darby and Pac circle, feel things out, and tie up. They’re in a deadlock, Pac powers Darby to a corner, but Darby uses the corner to turn things around. Darby waistlocks, Pac switches, btu Darby slips away to arm-drag. Pac fights up, Darby arm-drags again, and Darby keeps on the armlock.

The fans rally behind Darby but Pac fights up. Darby wrenches to wristlock, but Pac rolls, rolls, and handsprings. Pac wrenches, Darby WRINGS the arm out, and then steps over to LA MAGISTROL! Darby HAMMERS away on Pac and the fans fire up! Darby gets in the ring, builds speed, and he DIVES! Direct hit into the railing! The fans fire up as both men are down! Darby stumbles and staggers but he stands up, and he takes a chair away from the ringside staff. Darby sets that up nearby, hobbles over and brings Pac around, and Darby makes Pac take a seat. Darby fires hands, then he goes up the corner! The fans freak out already as Darby aims, SUPER DUPER MISSILE DROPKICK! Direct hit and Pac is sent tumbling! However, Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood promise they aren’t just #TopGuys, they’re THE top guys in AEW then, now, and forever! Will FTR go down as the greatest, most decorated tag team in AEW history? Or will the Outlaw & The King of Death never stop fighting?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see if history is made!

The teams sort out and Cash starts against Bandido. The fans are on Bandido’s side as he and Cash circle. They tie up, the fans cheer, but Cash shoves Bandido away to stop that. The two go again, Cash waistlocks, and he SLAMS Bandido down. Bandido moves around, slips around, and waistlocks back. The fans cheer, but Cash wrenches to wristlock. Then Cash DROPKICKS Brody!

Dax tags in, FTR hoists Brody up to CHOP and CHOP and CHOP again! Cash goes to the other corner while Dax climbs up. Cash mocks Latino Heat before Dax gives Brody the SUPER DUPER PLEX! There’s the Power, Cash dives, but Brody catches him! Bandido FROG SPLASHES Dax! SKY HIGH for Cash! The fans fire up again as Bandido then SUPERKICKS Dax, KNEES him, then Brody CHOPS! Brodido continues to mug Dax with the strike combo, and Brody runs to BASEMENT LARIAT! Dax sputters, Stokely panics, and the fans rally up. Brody tags Bandido while FTR regroups on the outside.

Brody builds speed, Stokely shoves Dax and takes the DIVE! Down goes Stoke! Fans chant “STOKELY’S DEAD”! while Cash TORNADO DDTS Brody on the floor! But Bandido SUPERKICKS Cash! Bandido springboards but Dax catches him! REBOUND NPOWER- RANA!! Cover, TWO!! Dax escapes, Bandido runs, roll and sunset flip! TWO!! Dax escapes with nanoseconds to spare! Cash is back, Bandido dodges, but runs into the PO-UP and REBOUND BOMB! Cash adds as SPLASH! Cover, TWO!! Bandido survives and the fans are thunderous again! FTR tags again and Cash goes up. Bandido sends Dax at Cash but Cash leaps over! Dax hits POST, Cash hobbles, and Bandido military presses Cash! With one arm! And he THROWS Cash out onto Dax! The fans fire up as FTR is down again! Bandido goes right up top, and he SUPER DUPER CROSSBODIES! Down goes FTR again! The ref checks everyone, they’re okay to continue, and “This is Awesome!” as Bandido puts Dax in the ring. Bandido climbs up the corner, and MOONSAULTS, but he has to roll through! Dax is up, so is Cash! SHATTER- DDT!!! Bandido then dodges Dax to SUPERKICK! Dax is on the ropes, Bandido deals, but Cash blocks Blackjack!

Cash slingshots in, Bandido drop toeholds him! Shuffle and BLACKJACK 21!! But Dax is on Bandido, Cash is right up! SHATTER MACHINE!!! Cover, BRODY BREAKS IT!! The fans bark for Brody and his miraculous save! Brody drags Cash out and whips him into barriers! Fans want these teams to “FIGHT FOREVER!” but it has to end somehow. Brody runs up on Cash, but Cash dodges! Brody SPLASHES into barriers! Cash leaves Brody behind to grab the title belts! The fans boo as Cash storms in with one. Brody goes after Cash with haymakers, then he runs up again! And he SPLASHES Cash against barriers! The fans bark for Brody as he took out another one! Dax runs up, but BRODIDO STEALS SHATTER MACHINE!!! Cover, TWO?!?! Dax survives his own move, and no one can believe it! The fans rally as Bandido puts Dax in the drop zone, then coordinates with Brody! But Cash TRIPS Bandido! And YANKS him into the post! Brody ROCKS Cash, runs up, but Cash jumps over!

Speaking of history being made, this is the first time the Casino Gauntlet will crown a champion, let alone an inaugural champion, as AEW now creates their own National Championship! But with the Hurt Syndicate’s Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin starting us off at entries one and two respectively, are they guaranteed the win? Or will someone manage to survive and take the gold for their own?

The fans cheer for “M V P! M V P!” as he accompanies his associates, then steps aside. The bell rings and the two circle, but are they really going to fight each other? They shake hands on it, then circle, and the fans cheer that we’ll get to see these two lock up. They feel it out, knuckle lock, then Lashley powers Shelton to the ropes. Lashley lifts Shelton, puts him aside, and the two reset while the fans applaud. They feel things out again, tie up, and we already get the countdown! Shelton powers Lashley to the corner, the two back off, and now the third entry is… Ricochet! The One & Only feels this is crap! Not that he’s up against them, but that they’re not taking this seriously!

The fans didn’t pay to see traditional wrestling! They wanna see Lashley and Shelton throw hands! The fans tell Ricochet to STFU, but it’s all a distraction so Liona & Kaun can attack! Liona lines up a shot, Kaun whips him in, HIP ATTACK against the steps! Lashley sputters, but refs rush out here to get Kaun & Liona outta here! Other refs help MVP up to his feet and to the back, but Ricochet does a spinarooni just to show off. But the countdown is back, and entry number four is… Claudio Castagnoli! The fans actually cheer as the Swiss Cyborg storms his way from the crowd side! Ricochet DIVES but into an UPPERCUT! The fans lose their minds and Ricochet sputters on the floor. Claudio military presses Ricochet to then THROW him into the ring! Claudio storms into the ring now and gets Ricochet’s leg!

The fans cheer for the GIANT SWING! Ricochet goes around and around for FIVE times, then Claudio loads up the arm! UPPERCUT in the corner! Fans chant “BALD! BALD! BALD!” and Claudio covers, TWO! Ricochet survives but Claudio stalks him to the ropes. Fans chant “We Bald~ People!” Claudio YANKS Ricochet up by the legs, but Ricochet lands on his feet! Red Death swaggers his way to the ring from the crowd side while Claudio grins.

Garcia ROCKS Ricochet, then SLEEPERS! Ricochet flails, Garcia SHOVES him away, and Garcia uses his hoodie as a weapon! Then he TACKLES Ricochet to rain down fists! Fans chant “He’s Not Bald!” Garcia rains down fists in the corner, stops at nine to put up his dukes, but no dance as he hops down. The fans boo but Garcia lets Claudio UPPERCUT Ricochet! Death Riders high-five, then they get Ricochet up. Claudio stomps Ricochet, then Garcia runs up to LARIAT! Claudio whips corner to corner, then he sends Garcia in, but Ricochet BOOTS him! Ricochet then DUMPS Claudio out, and he goes up the corner!

Ricochet aims, but Garcia trips him up! The countdown is back, and number six is… Orange Cassidy! The fans fire up as this gauntlet is now Freshly Squeezed! Cassidy “hurries” to ringside, but Garcia has Ricochet up top. Ricochet fights off the German Suplex, but Cassidy SLAPS that bald head! SUPER GERMAN SUPLEX! But then Cassidy TOSSES Garcia out! Cassidy covers Ricochet, but Claudio YANKS Cassidy right up by the pants! Claudio carries Cassidy with just one hand, then SLAMS him down! Clau8dio whips, Cassidy ducks ‘n’ dodges, tilt-o-whirl- NO! Garcia mocks the kicks while Yuta SLAPS Cassidy. Yuta whips Cassidy to the corner, he and Garcia whip Claudio in, UPPERCUT! Then Yuta ELBOWS! Then Garcia LARIATS! And repeat! The cycle of violence continues, and even Ricochet joins in! Ricochet fires up like he’s one of the boys, but Claudio UPPERCUTS him down! The countdown is back, and number eight is… Kevin Knight! The Jet is ready for the Death Riders, and he LEAPING LARIATS Yuta at the ramp! Garcia runs up, has the SLEEPER, but Knight snapmares free! Knight climbs, Claudio grabs at him, but Knight HOTSHOTS Claudio! Then he FLYING- NO! Claudio stops the rana! Knight fights, but Claudio still heads for ropes! Knight RANAS Claudio up and out! Claudio whips, Roddy BOOTS, ENZIGIRIS, and ANGLE SLAMS! Roddy dodges Ricochet’s knee to BACKBREAKER! And then torture rack for the BACKBREAKER DROP! Bailey lands out, ducks ‘n’ dodges, then JetSpeed fires off on Davis! SATELLITE DDT on Davis, double cover, but then they both stop because they can’t both be a singles champion. The fans rally up as these two talk it out, but Davis just DECKS them both! Davis storms on Bailey, Bailey GAMANGIRIS! Bailey ARIHARA MOONSAULTS onto the Death Riders! Knight FLYING LARIATS Davis! JetSpeed regroups and the fans fire up seeing this. They shake hands, and then Knight rolls Bailey! TWO, Bailey rolls Knight! TWO, Knight avoids a kick, and the moonsault! Then the leg sweep! And the lariat! And he goes Matrix to avoid the thrust kick!

The fans are thunderous seeing these two, but Garcia SHOVES Bailey into Knight! And he LOW BLOWS Bailey!! Then he steps through, DRAGON TAMER!! Bailey endures, the countdown is back, and number 12 is… Matt Menard! Garcia is shocked to see Daddy Magic is back in action, and Menard goes right at Garcia! Menard dares Garcia to do something and the fans fire up! The hands fly between former friends, Menard whips and ELBOWS Garcia down! Garcia flounders out, Menard pursues, and he fires off on Garcia in a corner of the barriers! The fans fire up as Menard DUMPS Garcia over into the crowd!

Claudio is just as shocked to see those two run off into the night. But now Davis is in and the fans fire up! “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” Claudio stares Davis down, but wait! The Hurt Syndicate rises from the ashes! They get in the ring and stare down with Davis and Claudio! The fans fire up for the “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” as the haymakers fly! Shelton GERMAN SUPLEXES Davis! Lashley FLATLINERS Claudio! Knight is back but he gets a FLAPJACK! Roddy is back, Lashley SPEARS! Yuta gets a GERMAN SUPLEX! Cassidy leaps, but Lashley catches him with ease! And then pops him around for the OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE!

Shelton and Lashley are back to 1v1, until they spot Bailey. Lashley BLASTS Bailey, but here’s Ricochet! Then he sees them spot him first… The fans tell Ricochet that he messed up! Ricochet runs but Shelton reels him in! Shelton sends Ricochet to a corner, and Lashley THROWS Ricochet across the way! Shelton THROWS Ricochet back! Then STEP-UP KNEE in the corner! MILE HIGH SPINEBUSTER! The fans fire up as Lashley gut wrenches Ricochet, but Davis and Claudio are back! SLEEPER on Shelton! UPPERCUTS for Lashley! Claudio LARIATS Lashley up and out! But ORANGE PUNCH for Claudio! ORANGE PUNCH for Davis!

Shelton runs and he LARIATS Davis and himself outta the ring! Lashley THROWS Claudio! Lashley runs up, but Claudio sends him into barriers! Cassidy aims at Ricochet but Yuta intercepts! The Violent Artist has had the Maniac’s number when it comes to tapping him out. However, Kyle wants to finally settle this once and for all with Moxley, and is willing to throw away the rules if it means a definitive victory. Can Kyle do it? Or will Moxley find another way to weasel out of defeat?

Kyle doesn’t even wait for the bell, he attacks the moment Moxley is in the ring! The fans fire up as Kyle TACKLES Moxley and rains down fists! Kyle KICKS, KICKS, KICKS, but Moxley fires forearms in return! The fans fire up for the brawl, Kyle waistlocks, but Moxley switches. They switch again and again and again, the fans fire up as things keep going, and Moxley ELBOWS Kyle! Kyle kicks but Mox avoids it, to then pie face Kyle! Kyle BOOTS Moxley, KICKS, KICKS, KICKS and fires more shots in the corner! Moxley grabs a leg, trips Kyle, and floats to a facelock. Kyle slips through but Moxley waistlocks now.

Moxley fishhooks Kyle again, then powers out with a HIP TOSS! Then ARMBAR! Kyle clasps hands, fights around, and he turns Moxley over to get the ANKLE LOCK! Moxley rolls, kicks free, and then bails out. The fans boo but Marina is there to coach Moxley up. Kyle waits on Moxley since there are no count outs, but now Moxley has his fork! The fans boo as Moxley steps back inside, and the two circle. Kyle goes for the fork! They fight over the silverware, but Moxley wrangles Kyle to the mat! Kyle fights with both hands to hold the fork back, but Moxley pries the grip open! And he JABS AWAY ON KYLE’S FOREHEAD!

Moxley DIGS the fork into Kyle’s back! The fans tell Moxley he’s sick, the ref tells Moxley to stop, but Moxley backs the ref off. Kyle is bloody just like Blood & Guts! Moxley BOOTS Kyle, reels him in, and KICKS the leg! And KICKS! Moxley pushes Kyle onto the ropes to CHOKE him and CLUB him! The fans boo as Moxley crossface forearms Kyle again and again and again! Moxley grinds Kyle down with a forearm, then BITES the bloody forehead! Then he fishhooks Kyle’s face! The fans tell Moxley he’s sick, but Moxley just drags Kyle up. Moxley fires KNEE after KNEE, then hits a BELLY2BELLY! Moxley keeps Kyle down with an armlock.

The fans rally for Kyle while Moxley grinds him down. Kyle grabs at Moxley, but Moxley just BITES those fingers! Moxley then sits Kyle up for a full nelson. Kyle endures, even as Moxley leans on the hold. Marina is pleased as Moxley then KICKS Kyle in the back! Moxley ELBOWS Kyle in the neck, KICKS him in the back, then steps on the bloody forehead. Kyle sputters, Moxley paces around, and Moxley eggs Kyle on. Kyle trips Moxley and has the ANKLE LOCK! The fans fire up as Moxley suffers again! Kyle shifts to a headlock to grind Moxley, but Moxley SAIDOS free! And he has the fork again!

The fans boo as Moxley stalks Kyle to the ropes. Moxley puts Kyle on the apron, to DIG THE FORK INTO A NIPPLE!! The fans freak out and Moxley stops to act like he has no idea what’s wrong. Moxley stands Kyle up to have a SLEEPER in the ropes! Kyle endures, pries at the hold, but Moxley traps the arms in the ropes. Moxley puts the SLEEPER back on and Kyle is fading! But then Kyle grabs at the arms again, HOTSHOT on the ropes, and then a ROPE DARCE!! Moxley endures, Kyle KNEES him low! And then he has the leg, DRAPING DRAGON SCREW! Moxley’s leg is trapped while Kyle gets in the ring!

Kyle has Moxley in an ARMBAR while Moxley is stuck! Moxley uses the ropes to pry free, but the fans rally up for Kyle. Kyle aims from the apron, and he FLYING- NO, Moxley dodges the knee! Moxley BOOTS, but Kyle blocks! Kyle TACKLES Moxley, has the legs, and Kyle CATAPULTS Moxley into the POST! Moxley falls in a heap and Kyle leans against the steel steps. Marina is worried while Moxley is down. Kyle stumbles around, grabs a chair and brings that around. Kyle sits the chair up, SMACKS Moxley off the steps, then KICKS Moxley! And repeat! Moxley is busted open now but the KICKS keep going!

Kyle brings Moxley around to KICK him into sitting down in the chair. Kyle then goes to the apron, takes aim, and he FLYING DROPKICKS Moxley into the barriers! The fans fire up while both men are down! Kyle rises up, he drags Moxley around, and he puts Moxley back in the ring. Moxley crawls, Kyle storms in, but Moxley CUT- NO! Kyle stops the cutter to have the ANKLE LOCK!! Moxley flails, reaches out, and he turns over to kick at Kyle! Moxley reels Kyle into a TRIANGLE CHOKE! But Kyle sits back, has the leg, HEEL HOOK! The fans cheer as Moxley suffers again! Moxley stomps at Kyle and gets free!

Both men rise up, and Kyle catches Moxley’s arm! Kyle takes the fork from Moxley! And now KYLE JABS MOXLEY’S FOREHEAD!! The fans are going nuts as Kyle makes Moxley taste his own medicine! Kyle lets Moxley go, both men now bleeding profusely! Kyle bails out to go looking under the ring. Kyle brings out a CHAIN! The fans cheer that, and Kyle brings the chain into the ring. Moxley is the one worried now and the fans fire up seeing that! Kyle wraps the chain around his fists, he and Moxley throw hands, and Kyle manages to reel Moxley in! Kyle has the chain around the neck as part of the GUILLOTINE!

But Moxley returns the favor and he CHOKES Kyle with the chain! Moxley has the GUILLOTINE, but Kyle turns that into a suplex! Moxley fights it, he tries to suplex, but Kyle fights it! They go back and forth, Kyle manages to suplex Moxley up and over! The chain is like a collar connecting the two, “This is Awesome!” Moxley and Kyle stir, they grab the chain, and now they wrap it around their wrist! They fire forearms back and forth, the fans cheering Kyle and booing Moxley! Kyle then KICKS! And AX, and SMASH! Moxley wobbles, but he has the cravat! Moxley uses the chain to CHOKE Kyle, and he hits the takedown! BULLY CHOKE!!

Kyle endures, rolls, and he uses the chain to rain down fists on Moxley! The fans fire up but Moxley CHOKES from below! He pushes Kyle down, but Kyle headscissors! ARMBAR!! Moxley rolls around, fights up, and he has the leg! ANKLE LOCK! Kyle endures, but Moxley steps through, STF!! But Kyle FORKS THE HAND!! Moxley lets Kyle go and the fans fire up! But then Moxley CURB STOMPS Kyle!! Moxley still checks his hand, is it bleeding? Moxley grabs a chair and wants to end this! The fans sing for the Visionary, “WHOA~ OH~ OH~!” while Moxley gets the chair around Kyle’s arm. Moxley smothers Kyle, then runs to CURB STOMP the chair!

Kyle writhes in pain while Moxley snarls and storms around. Moxley and Marinan fist bump real quick before Moxley goes back to Kyle. KIMURA! Kyle fires body shots, but Moxley underhooks! PARADIGM SHIFT! KIMURA!! But Kyle uses his own waists to resist! The fans rally as Moxley puts on the pressure, but Kyle rolls things around! Moxley CRANKS the KIMURA!! Kyle rolls again, body scissors, and ANKLE LOCK!!! Moxley flails, reaches out, has the ropes but that won’t save him! Kyle STOMPS the leg! Then he uses the chain to help with the ANKLE LOCK!!! GRAPEVINE!!! Moxley flails, freaks out, but he TAPS!! KYLE WINS!!

It was like a 1v1 Blood & Guts right here! Kyle tears Moxley down once again, is there no denying who the tougher man is now? Moxley admits Kyle got him, then he takes his leave. Even so, was this a pyrrhic victory for Kyle? But then Moxley attacks Kyle! No more respect, he just wants to HURT Kyle! The fans boo but then they taunt Moxley with, “You Tapped Out!” Moxley respects no one, he leaves with The Death Riders while The Conglomeration makes sure Kyle gets out of there safely. Will Moxley ever be humbled?

 

High Stakes AEW TNT Championship No Disqualifications Match: Kyle Fletcher VS Mark Briscoe!

To settle things between these two, it is now title VS personal freedom! If the Sussex County Chicken wins, he is the new Face of TNT. But if he loses, he must leave The Conglomeration and join the Don Callis Family FOR-E-VER!! Will Briscoe reach for the sky and finally have the title he’s been chasing? Or will the Protostar rip Briscoe from his family tree?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who wins round six!

The bell rings and the fans cheer Briscoe on. He steps to Kyle, and Kyle SLAPS him! Mark SLAPS back! Then the forearms start flying! Briscoe dodges to ROCK and CHOP on repeat! Briscoe whips, Kyle reverses and BOOTS back! The fans are torn but Kyle reels Mark in, suplexes, but Mark fights free! Mark wrenches, kicks, and underhooks! Kyle wrenches out, whips, but Briscoe goes up and over. Kyle BOOTS Mark down! The fans are torn as Kyle then goes to the apron. Kyle lines up a shot, but Mark blocks the Penalty Kick! And he THROWS Kyle down! Kyle tumbles, Mark stomps him down, and then Mark CHUCKS the chair!

Kyle goes down, the fans fire up, and Briscoe CHOPS Kyle again. And CHOPS! Briscoe brings Kyle around, headlocks, and even CLAWS the eyes. Then he whips Kyle hard into the steps! The fans fire up as Mark then brings out chair after chair after chair! Mark hurries to SMACK Kyle with one! The fans fire up while Kyle writhes! Mark then JAMS Kyle in the head! Mark drags Kyle up, CHOPS him again, and CHOPS again! Mark sits the chair up, makes Kyle take a seat, and then he BITES Kyle’s ear! The fans cheer, Mark spits the taste out, and he goes to the apron. The fans fire up for the CANNONBALL, but Kyle catches Mark!

Kyle pops Mark up, BRAINBUSTER on the chair! Callis laughs it but even Kyle has to clutch his arm after that one. Kyle rises up, shakes out the arm, then he KICKS Mark against the steps! Kyle brings the steel steps around, the fans tell off Callis, but Kyle drags Briscoe up. Kyle brings Briscoe up but Briscoe fires body shots! Mark SWEEPS the legs and Kyle lands hard on the steel! Then Briscoe CHOPS him! The fans fire up as Briscoe now tosses the chairs into the ring! And he finds a ladder! The fans cheer for that, but Briscoe first sets some chairs up. Briscoe ROCKS Kyle, props the ladder up against a chair, and he CHOPS Kyle into reclining back.

Briscoe gets in the ring, he builds speed, but Kyle moves! Mark CANNONBALLS onto ladder only!! The fans lose their minds as Briscoe writhes and crawls out of the wreckage. Kyle picks up the ladder, and then THROWS it at Mark! Down goes Mark and Kyle flexes. Kyle soaks up the heat, then he goes to look under the ring. Kyle brings out a fresh ladder and tosses that into the ring. Kyle tells the fans to shut up while he brings Mark up. Kyle has Mark in the ring, shows off the bloody forehead, then scoops Mark to SLAM him on the ladder! Mark writhes, Kyle picks up the ladder, and he SLAMS the ladder onto Mark!

Callis says this is great stuff! Kyle props the ladder up onto the corner, then brings Briscoe up. Kyle wrenches and whips Briscoe into and through the ladder! Cover, TWO! Briscoe survives but Kyle does his best to straighten out the ladder. He then wedges that ladder into the corner, and he hoists Briscoe up top. Kyle stands on the nasty ladder, but Briscoe fights with body shots! Briscoe UPPERCUTS and Kyle falls! Briscoe picks up the nasty ladder, and he tosses it to Kyle! Kyle catches the ladder, only for Briscoe to DROPKICK it into him! Callis gets off commentary like always just so he can throw a fit. But now that Kyle is busted open!

Briscoe has the ladder, and he SLAMS it onto Kyle! Briscoe then brings out a TABLE! The fans fire up for that! The table is set up nearby, then Briscoe hurries to fetch Kyle. Briscoe drags Kyle out to ROCK him, and Kyle rests against the table. Briscoe ROCKS Kyle, then JAMS him with the chair! And JAMS him up again! Briscoe says time to go up! The fans cheer as Briscoe climbs the corner! Callis panics, the fans fire up, but Kyle flops off the table. Callis is relieved but the fans boo. Briscoe hurries after Kyle, but Kyle clinches! SNAP HALF ‘N’ HALF onto the floor! Callis says Kyle was suckering Briscoe in!

Kyle sits chairs up, talks some smack to the fans, then finishes making a chair square. Kyle adds more chairs to this, now it’s a rectangle. Kyle makes sure his six chairs are positioned just right, but then Briscoe CHUCKS a seventh one! Briscoe SMACKS Kyle, then puts him on his own chair structure! Briscoe goes up, up, but Callis shouts at him! That distractions lets Kyle SHOVE Briscoe off the top! Briscoe crashes down through a table! The fans boo but Callis and Kyle grin. They hug, even with Kyle all bloody like that. Kyle then gets a new table out! Kyle puts that table in the ring, puts Briscoe in next, and he clears out space.

Kyle props his table up in a corner, then runs up on Briscoe, GAMANGIRI! The fans are torn but Kyle scoops Briscoe to aim for the table! But Briscoe slips free! And he then slips around, but Kyle switches! Briscoe fights the half nelson to PELE Kyle! Briscoe hurries to bring Kyle in, underhook the arms, but Kyle lifts Briscoe! ALABAMA CANNONBALL through the table!! The fans go nuts, Kyle hauls Briscoe up again, and LAST RIDE!! Cover, TWO!! It was NOT the last ride and the fans fire up! “This is Awesome!” as Briscoe flounders away. Kyle brings out a bucket?! The fans boo but Kyle brings the bucket into the ring, and he pours out THUMBTACKS!

Kyle is ready to do Briscoe like Briscoe did MJF! Kyle drags Briscoe up and around, reels him back in, but Briscoe fights the lift! Kyle fires Kawada Kicks a la Ospreay, then he makes Briscoe eat tacks! The fans boo, but Kyle SUPERKICKS Briscoe down! Then he reels Briscoe in, lifts him up, LAST RIDE, but Briscoe poops free! Briscoe puts Kyle in the ring, drags him to the table, and UPPERCUTS! Kyle is in place and Briscoe says time to go up! The fans fire up for that, and Briscoe goes to the very top! But Kyle hurries up after him! The fans fire up as these two brawl at the top of the ladder! Briscoe HEADBUTTS Kyle, Kyle wobbles, and Briscoe then SUPER FROGGY-BOWS down through the table!!! Cover, TWO?!?!? Kyle survives and no one can believe it! Briscoe is as stunned as anyone, but he moves his ladder out of the ring, along with other wreckage. Now Briscoe brings in the barbed wire table! “This is Awesome!” but Callis doesn’t like it!

Briscoe has to work on the legs to make sure the table gets in, and yet Callis gives Kyle the infamous green screwdriver! The fans are worried as now Kyle hides it while Briscoe sets up his table. Mark storms up, Kyle swings! But Briscoe stops it! But Kyle LOW BLOWS! And then SCREWDRIVER STAB!!! Kyle DIGS it into Mark’s face!!! The fans tell Kyle he’s sick, but Kyle TASTES the screwdriver!! The fans are thunderously upset seeing that, but Kyle goes back to Mark. Mark dodges, the screwdriver gets stuck in the buckle pad! LOW BLOW in return!! And then a suplex, BRAINBUSTER ONTO TACKS!! Cover, TWO!!!

Briscoe fires up, the fans are with him, and Briscoe goes up the corner. But Kyle SHOVES the ref into the ropes, tripping Briscoe up! The fans boo but Callis says that was just a stumble! Kyle grabs the screwdriver again, and he wedges it into a buckle pad?!?! The fans are going nuts, the ref says don’t do it! Briscoe fights the suplex! Briscoe fires body shits, then he flips around to CLUB Kyle on the back! Briscoe tucks Kyle in with a torture rack, but Kyle takes the screwdriver out again! He JABS Briscoe in the side of the head!! The fans boo but Kyle aims again! RUNNING SCREWDRIVER STAB!! Then a suplex, BRAINBUSTER onto more tacks!! Cover, TWO?!?!?!

The fans erupt with cheers and Kyle is almost in tears! Briscoe is defying all expectations as he survives again! Briscoe goes to a corner, Kyle drags the barbed wire table closer, and fans hope these two “FIGHT FOREVER!” This has to end somehow, and that ending looks to be violent! Kyle suplexes, but Briscoe slips free! Briscoe CLUBS Kyle, SHOVES him onto the crossbar, and then climbs back up. Briscoe has the crucifix lift! RAZOR’S EDGE down through the barbed wire table!!! $1 MILLION Six Man Tag: Kenny Omega & Jurassic Express VS Josh Alexander & The Young Bucks!

The Cleaner has had it with The Don Callis Family, they’ve tried to take everything from him. Jack Perry & Luchasaurus also want their payback on Matt & Nick Jackson after they left Jack out in the cold. But it’s not like The Bucks haven’t suffered loss. Their EVP status being stripped took away all their privileges and big paychecks. Okay, one side is definitely more superficial than the other… But could Matt & Nick soon win it all back with a little help from Don Callis? Or will this just be another humiliating loss for them all?

The trios sort out and Jack starts against Nick, but the fans all cheer for “KENNY! KENNY!” The two circle, tie up, and Jack wrenches to a wristlock. Nick uses the ropes to flip through, wristlocks back, but Jack uses the ropes to flip through. Nick headlocks, Jack powers up and out, but Nick RUNS him over. Things keep moving, Jack hurdles, Nick leaps over, and Jack runs up, but into a BOOT! Nick then goes to the apron, jumps over Jack’s slide, then flips over. Jack ELBOWS Nick, moonsaults off the barrier but Nick dodges! Jack dodges back, Nick tiger feints with the apron but Jack slides in! Nick FLYING ARM-DRAGS!

Jack wrenches, knuckle locks, CHOPS, then he goes up and up and FLYING ARM-DRAGS! But dropkicks cancel out and both men handspring up. The fans fire up for the standoff, and Jack tags Luchasaurus. Nick tags Matt, the fans cheer Luchasaurus on, and the two circle. They tie up, Luchasaurus SHOVES Matt away, then they tie up again. Luchasaurus SHOVES Matt again, they tie up again, and Matt headlocks. Luchasaurus lifts Matt, power sup and out, but Matt ducks ‘n’ dodges, only for Luchasaurus to DECK him! Alexander runs in, Luchasaurus DECKS him! And DECKS Nick! The fans fire up and Luchasaurus goes back to Matt.

Luchasaurus brings Matt around, tags Jack, and Jurassic Express whips Matt to then drip, hurdle, HIP TOSS and basement DROPKICK! Cover, TWO! Jack wrenches Matt, and he tags in Kenny! The fans cheer as Kenny goes up the corner, and he AX HANDLES! The fans cheer, Kenny warns Alexander, and he wrenches Matt to wristlock. Matt powers Kenny to ropes, the ref counts, and Matt lets go. But Alexander gets a cheap shot in! The fans boo but Alexander tags himself in so he can fire off on Kenny! Kenny turns things around to fire shots in return! The fans fire up, but Alexander fires body shots in return!

The fans boo but Alexander whips corner to corner. Kenny reverses, runs up, and ELBOWS Alexander! Then he TOSSES Alexander out to PLANCHA! The fans fire up and Kenny rises. The chains on Kenny’s boots are falling off so he gives those to fans as souvenirs. Kenny puts Alexander in the ring, storms in, but Alexander trips him! Alexander YANKS the leg, then stomps away! The fans boo, Alexander taunts everyone, then he stomps away on the legs again! Alexander tags Matt and tells him to keep after Kenny. Matt drops a leg, then he spins Kenny around. Tag to Nick, The Bucks mug Kenny, and they double whip.

Kenny ducks ‘n’ dodges to then DOUBLE DROPKICK the legs out! Kenny keeps moving, DOUBLE KOTARO KRUSHER! The fans fire up while The Bucks bail out. The Terminator Drums begin, Kenny builds speed, but Alexander CLOBBERS him! The fans boo but Callis laughs. Alexander runs, but into a RANA! Alexander tumbles out to regroup with The Bucks and Kenny goes again! Kenny FLIES and takes down Alexander & The Bucks! The fans fire up and Kenny hurries back to the ring. Kenny has Nick, but Luchasaurus tags in. Luchasaurus scoops and SLAMS Nick, then Jack KNEE-BOARDS off him!

Jack BLASTS Alexander, TOSSES Nick onto Matt, then he builds speed! But Alexander is there to catch Jack! APRON POWERSLAM! Luchasaurus rushes over, but Matt WRECKS him with a dropkick! Matt skins the cat so Nick can FLY, but he only clips Luchasaurus! Kenny hurries over, Nick gets Jack up, and they put Nick back in the ring. Matt tags in, scoops Jack, and he SLAMS Jack into a drop zone. Matt goes to the corner, climbs up, and he CROSSBODIES onto Kenny! Nick goes up, Matt slips in, RISKY BUSINESS! Cover, TWO! Jack survives, and he manages to CHOP Matt! And CHOPS again! And again!

Jack runs, but Matt LARIATS! Cover, TWO! Matt drags Jack back up, tags Alexander, and they mug Jack. Alexander stomps Jack, drags him up again, and then hits a BIG back suplex! Cover, TWO! Alexander clamps onto Jack with a chinlock and he grinds Jack down. The fans rally, Jack fights up and fires body shots, but Alexander shoves him away. Jack hits the COMEBACKER! Both men are down and the fans rally up. Alexander rises to BLAST Kenny and Luchasaurus first! Then he brings Jack up to whip him to ropes. Jack ducks ‘n’ dodges to SATELLITE DDT! Both men are down and the fans rally up again! Hot tags to Matt and Luchasaurus!

Luchasaurus rallies on The Bucks, LARIAT and a HIP TOSS for Matt! Then a TOSS, LARIAT, and HIP TOSS for Nick! The Bucks end up in the same corner, Luchasaurus runs up, but The Bucks dodge! Only for Luchasaurus to DOUBLE LARIAT after all! The fans fire up and Luchasaurus guzels The Bucks. Alexander ROCKS Luchasaurus! Luchasaurus HEADBUTTS Alexander! CHOKE SLAM! The fans rally for Luchasaurus as he scoops, but Matt slips free. Only for Luchasaurus to guzel him! Nick jumps in, but Luchasaurus catches him into a guzel! The Bucks LEG SWEEP Luchasaurus down! The fans boo, but then Luchasaurus sits up to double guzel! Kip up and- NO, The Bucks slip free to DOUBLE SUPERKICK! They dodge the lariats, and then TRIPLE LARIATS take them all down! The fans fire up as Matt and Luchasaurus crawl, hot tag to Alexander! Alexander goes for legs, but Luchasaurus BOOTS him away! Hot tag to Kenny! And The Bucks leave hop off the corner! Kenny rallies on Alexander with POLISH HAMMER after POLISH HAMMER! Alexander dodges the discus to kick low and whip, but Kenny grabs ropes. Kenny BOOTS and SLAM DUNKS Alexander! The fans fire up and Kenny brings Alexander up to a fireman’s carry! “YOU! CAN’T! ESCAPE!” ROLLING SENTON and then the jump. Kenny’s leg jams a bit, but he still MOONSAULT FLOPS as Alexander moves! Matt victory rolls for the FACEBUSTER! Jack is up but Matt SUPERKICKS him! Jack is stuck on the ropes, Nick goes up, DOUBLE STOMP POWER- RANA!! The fans fire up s Jack then CLOBBERS Nick! But Alexander SWINGING BACKBREAKERS!

Luchasaurus BOOTS Alexander, then catches Nick! But Nick DESTROYERS through! V-TRIGGER outta nowhere!! All six men are down and the fans fire up! A standing count starts on Kenny and Alexander, but both men slowly rise up at 5 of 10. “This is Awesome!” as Kenny and Alexander go forehead to forehead, then they go forearm for forearm! Then Kenny CHOPS! The straps come down as Alexander CHOPS Kenny! Kenny CHOPS again! Alexander CHOPS again! And repeat! The forearms return, then fast jabs and haymakers! Then Kenny shoots around, SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX! The Bucks rush in, Kenny blocks Nick’s kick to send it into Matt!

Then SNAP DRAGON on Nick! SNAP DRAGON on Matt! The fans fire up again and Kenny aims at Alexander. Kenny says B ANG and he runs, but Alexander dodges! BIG back suplex, but Kenny lands out! Only for Alexander to CHOP BLOCK! And ANKLE LOCK! The fans boo as Kenny flails and reaches out! Alexander drags Kenny back, The Bucks get Kenny up, B T E TRIGGER!! And then the GRAPEVINE! Matt PENALTY KICKS Jack, Nick TORNADO DDTS Luchasaurus! Kenny endures even as Alexander CRANKS the leg! The fans rally, Jack tries to get in, but Matt keeps him out! Kenny flails and makes the ROPEBREAK!

The ref counts, Alexander lets go at 4, and The Bucks coordinate. Matt tag sin, he picks Kenny up, but Luchasaurus catches Nick! And Alexander! He SHOVES them both out! Kenny flips things around on Matt, Luchasaurus gives Jack the boost, JURASSIC DRIVER!! Luchasaurus then goes up, up, and MOONSAULT onto Nick and Alexander! Kenny covers Matt, TWO!! Matt survives but Kenny rolls towards the corner. Hot tag to Jack, he and Luchasaurus now get Matt up. Jack counts it down, but Alexander CLBOBESR him! And he ROCKS Luchasaurus! But then Jack ducks, the LARIAT hits Matt! V-TRIGGER on Alexander!

Luchasaurus helps Jack go up to FLYING RAN Nick to the floor! Luchasaurus gets Matt up, they do it again, EXTINCTION BOMB!! Cover, ALEXANDER BREAKS IT! All six men are down again but the fans hope they “FIGHT FOREVER!” Luchasaurus hoists Matt up, but Nick attacks! Kenny CLUBS Nick, and then he lifts Nick! They’re both in Electric Chairs, Jack goes up, DOUBLE DOOMSDAY!! BUT THE BUCKS LAND OUT!! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! Jack runs, ducks ‘n’ dodges, QUEBRADA INTO DOUBLE SUPERKICKS!! Then DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for Luchasaurus again! Alexander sets Jack up, but he ducks again, DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for Alexander!!

Let’s go take this money and celebrate!” Callis leads the way out, The Bucks follow, but Alexander lingers. Alexander puts Kenny on the ropes to go after the leg! Davis helps out! The fans boo as they beat up on Kenny! Hechicero and Rocky join in, too! The fans boo, The Bucks are conflicted, but Callis says Kenny deserves this. Time to spend the money!

The fans boo more but The Bucks keep glancing back. The fans chant, “You Sold Out!” Callis says who cares, they’ve got a million dollars! The Bucks say to Hell with money, they go save their friend! SUPERKICKS and haymakers all around! The Bucks clear out The Don Callis Family member by member! Luchasaurus joins in, and he CHOKE SLAMS Davis! Jack makes sure Kenny is alright, and he looks rather surprised by The Bucks. But the fans chant “THE! ELITE! THE THE ELITE!” The Bucks look to each other, and to their friends. Jack offers a handshake, as does Luchasaurus. The Bucks hesitate again, but then they shake hands with Jurassic Express!

The fans cheer, and then Kenny realizes what happened. He manages to stand, and the fans chant, “HUG IT OUT! HUG IT OUT!” Kenny and The Bucks look to each other, and The Bucks offer the handshake first. Kenny hesitates, but then he slaps the hands away? Because he HUGS The Bucks! The fans cheer, you’ve GOT to give the people what they want! The Elite stands together again against The Callis Family! Will this be the thing they’ve all been missing in order to get back to the top?

 

AEW Women’s World Championship: Kris Statlander VS Mercedes Mone!

One year ago, The Galaxy’s Greatest and The CEO battled to be the Face of TBS, and it was the start of the Money Train collecting title after title after title. Yes, she is #UltiMone, but she’s still not THE champion of the world! Will the Star Killer bring things full circle by defeating Mone at Full Gear? Or will she simply become FOURTEEN Belts Mone?

The introductions are made, the AEW Women’s World Championship is raised, and we see who is truly championship material!

The bell rings and the two tie up. Kris gut wrenches, Mone slips free to headlock, but Kris hits a BIG back suplex! Kris kips up, the fans cheer, but Mone runs up. Kris drops down, then takes a swing, but Mone ducks ‘n’ dodges to arm-drag, but Kris makes it a takedown and ghost pin! ONE, Mone waistlocks, but Kris THROWS her off! Mone runs, ducks ‘n’ dodges again, tilt-o-whirl for LA MYSTICA into the STATEMENT MAKER! Kris rolls to a cover, ONE! Sweep the leg and SENTON! Then STANDING MOONSAULT! Cover, TWO! Mone stays in this and the fans rally up. Kris runs at Mone, Mone BOOTS her away!

Kris tries again, but Mone TOSSES her out now! Kris has a rough landing, Mone builds speed and WRECKS her with a dropkick! The fans are torn but Mone grins as she aims again. Mone builds speed to DIVE! Kris rolls through and picks Mone up! Fireman’s carry, and then Kris goes up the steel steps! The fans cheer but Mone slips free. Kris writhes, clutching the arm, and she bails out of the ring. The ref checks on Kris while the fans duel. “CE E O!” “C E NO!” The ref has Mone hold on while Kris is still hurting. But Kris says she can keep going, and she stands up, only for Mone to METEORA to the floor! The ref reprimands but Mone says Kris is either done or she’s not! Mone THROWS Kris into the steel steps! Mone stands over Kris, to then METEORA from the steps! Mone stands on the bad arm, then STOMPS it! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Mone brings Kris up. Mone hammerlocks and RAMS Kris into the apron! Mone pushes Kris in and covers, TWO!

Mone drags Kris around by the bad arm, then reels her in for a TORNADO DDT! Kris is down, Mone clamps on for a FUJIWARA ARMBAR! Kris endures, the fans rally up, but Mone shifts to hammerlock the arm. Mone KNEES the arm again and again, then traps it. Mone grabs the other arm, bends fingers, then cording holds it. Kris fights around, the fans rally up, so Mone keeps on the bad arm. Kris whips, Mone reverses, but then Kris dodges the corner splash. Kris runs up, but into DEADLY NIGHTSHADE! Mone goes back up and she FLYING KNEES the bad arm! Cover, TWO! Kris toughs it out and the fans rally up.

Mone clamps onto the bad arm with a top wristlock! The fans rally as Kris endures, and Kris fights up, only for Mone to wrench the arm again. Mone hammerlocks and she RAMS Kris into buckles! The fans rally and duel, Mone stands Kris up again, and she RAMS Kris’ bad arm into buckles again! Mone soaks up cheers and jeers, then stands Kris up again. Mone whips Kris, but Kris LARIATS with the good arm! And ELBOWS! Kris stands Mone up to fireman’s carry, but Mone grabs the bad arm! Takedown and ARMBAR! Kris endures, reaches out, but Mone shifts to get the other arm! ARMBAR! Kris still fights around, rolls to a stack, then waistlcok!

Kris manages a lift with one arm, but Mone fights free! CODE BREAKER to the bad arm! Then she traps the arm to bend it! Kris fights, Mone pulls hair, then she makes Kris look her in the eyes! Mone TWEAKS the arm! The fans boo, but Mone runs, tilt-o-whirl DDT! Cover, TWO! Kris toughs it out and Mone snarls. The fans rally up as Mone looms over Kris. Mone eggs Kris on, but Kris fires hands! Mone BOOTS Kris down! Mone drags Kris up, reels her in, and snap suplexes! That’s just Una Amiga as she brings Kris up to Dos Amigas! The fans boo but Mone completes THREE AMIGAS! Then she brings Kris up, Four Amigas! Then Five! Then Six!

The fans are torn as we get SEVEN Amigas! And then EIGHT! And then NINE! Mone drags Kris up, TEN! Mone is clearly counting amigas to match belts, and she hits an ELEVENTH! Then a TWELFTH! And then, lucky number THIRTEEN! But now Mone wants one more for this title, FOURTEEN AMIGAS! The fans all cheer, that was indeed impressive! But both women are down, that was a lot for Mone to do. Mone rises up, fires herself up, and shouts out Eddie! Mone drags Kris to the drop zone, climbs up the corner, and FROG SPLASH but into BOOTS! The fans fire up as both women are down again!

Kris and Mone sputter, rise up, and the fans rally again. Kris blocks a shot to CHOP! And CHOP! And CHOP! CHOP! CHOP! Kris kicks low, whips Mone, then BACKDROPS! Mone staggers around, Kris runs in at the corner, UPPERCUT! Kris goes side to side to KNEE Mone against the ropes! Kris reels Mone in, manages to scoop, and DRIVER! Cover, TWO! Mone survives and Kris grows frustrated but the fans rally up. Kris snarls, kicks, but Mone ducks! Then Mone blocks a kick to KNEE Kris! Mone puts Kris in the ropes, and HOTSHOTS the arm! Mone stands on the bad arm on the apron! And STOMPS it!

The fans are torn but Mone sneers as she aims again. METEORA but Kris catches her! BLUE THUNDER BOMB on the floor! The fans fire up while both women are down! The ref checks, both women are able to continue, so a ring count begins. Kris stirs at 2 of 10, rolls in at 3, but Mone is still down at 5 of 10. Kris is content to let the count climb, and Mone is still down at 7! Mone sputters at 8, but then springs to life at 9! Mone is in at 9.5!! Kris chuckles, this is a mirror image of just last year. Kris stands Mone up, spins, but Mone CODE BREAKERS first! Then BACKSTABBERS! Mone goes back to a corner, runs up, SUNSET BUCKLE BOMB!

Mone shouts out her Role Model, then runs back in for a- DISCUS LARIAT from Kris!! The fans fire up as Kris now covers, TWO!! And into an INVERTED ARMBAR!! Kris scrambles around, even as Mone works to shift the angle! Kris stands, Mone KICKS her, then KCISK and KICKS and KICKS! Mone reels Kris in, Kris ducks the lariat to ripcord, BELLY2BELLY! Cover, TWO!! Mone survives, but now Kris has the CROSSFACE!! Kris is using Mone’s own move against her! Mone endures and the fans fire up! Mone flails, gest her arm free, and bends fingers on the bad hand! Then she reels Kris into the STATEMENT MAKER!!

Kris endures, reaches out, and the fans rally up again! Kris pries at Mone’s grip but Mone pulls her back! Kris rolls things around, but Mone rolls through! Only for Kris to fireman’s carry! Kris is further frustrated, so she gator rolls into the gut wrench! The fans fire up, but Mone fights free, arm-drag and lateral press, into the CROSSFACE! No, wait, THE GHOST PIN! TWO!!! Kris then ghost pins, ONE, but Kris has both arms! She turns Mone, SEATBELT!! TWO!! Mone escapes, Kris rises, but Mone trips Kris to a jackknife! Kris rolls through, tucks the arms, PACKAGE PILEDRIVER!! Cover, ROPEBREAK!! Mone survives by a fingertip and Kris cannot believe it! The fans duel again as both women are down. Kris drags Mone back up, puts her in a corner, and she hoists Mone up top. Kris fires shots, but Mone fires back!

Mone BOOTS Kris down, then adjusts. METEORA- BUT KRIS CATCHES MONE! Mone fires hands, but Kris still POWER- NO, Mone spins through and POISON-RANAS!! Kris flounders, the fans fire up, METEORA on the ropes! Cover, TWO!!! Kris survives and Mone is shocked! “This is Awesome!” but Mone isn’t sure what to do now! Backstage interview with The Don Callis Family.

Lexy Nair is with Okada, Takeshita, Hechicero and Callis himself. Lexy brings up that overall, the night didn’t go how Callis intended. He asks if she’s really starting off like that. Well, if she means having an extra MILLION DOLLARS, then things went well. By the way, he still has two of the best wrestlers to ever do this in Okada and Takeshita! And when they finally get on the same page, they’ll be the greatest team in the history of AEW. Okada claims Takeshita is the reason they lost tonight. Takeshita says Okada’s the one who didn’t show up on time! Callis says no need to blame each other, okay? This wasn’t the problem.

The deal is, Okada now has to defend his “Continental” Championship through the Continental Classic, and he will show everyone why he IS the greatest tournament wrestler of all time! Konosuke says okay, sure. But how about him also entering the Continental Classic? Callis says yes, that’s great news! More the merrier! The more members they have in the C2, the more likely they are to win it! But then Kyle Fletcher storms in and asks what the hell that was all about! Protokada? Protoshita? They both claim to be his best friend, they both claim to be family, but where were they when he needed them? Now Kyle lost HIS title!

But that’s okay, because that isn’t gonna stay that way for very long. Because now Kyle will also be in the Continental Classic! Kyle storms off, Callis smiles, and Okada says look what happened to Kyle! This is all Takeshita’s fault! Okada goes off another direction, Konosuke frowns, and Lexy isn’t sure what to do now. But will having THREE members guarantee they win the whole thing? Or will it only escalate the dysfunction within the Don Callis Family?

 

AEW World Championship Steel Cage Match: Hangman Page VS Samoa Joe!

What started as a respectful showdown at WrestleDream merely unearthed the petty, bitter, disrespectful feelings lingering within The Opps. The Cowboy decided that if Joe was going to escalate things, he’d push it to the extreme! We all remember what Hangman did to the last man he faced inside of a steel cage, will he make that look like child’s play compared to tonight? Or will Joe go from green with envy to draped in gold?

The introductions are made, the world title is raised, and we see who survives some serious #CowboyS*it!

The bell rings and the fans rally up already as Hangman and Joe circle. They tie up, Joe KNEES those bad ribs and he KNEES again and again! The fans boo as Joe KNEES away in the corner, then he CLUBS Hangman on the back. Joe runs Hangman at the steel but Hangman stops himself. Hangman fires hands, then he tries to throw Joe. Joe stops himself, ROCKS and CHOPS Hangman, then CHOPS again! Joe THROWS Hangman into the steel, but Hangman stays up! Hangman BOOTS Joe away, then dodges Joe! Joe hits steel, falls back, and Hangman rains down fists! The fans cheer as Hangman then THROWS Joe at the steel!

Joe falls back, Hangman climbs a corner, and the fans fire up. Joe is bleeding, Hangman storms up to rain down fists! The fans count along, and Hangman goes to TEN! Hangman pushes Joe down and shows the blood on his hands. Hangman then MOONSAULTS and takes Joe down! Cover, ONE!! Joe is tougher than that, even while bleeding, but Hangman takes off his boot! The boot has come into play a couple times as Hangman has fought The Opps, and he takes aim! Joe blocks the boot attack to LOW BLOW! Then Joe THROWS Hangman into a corner! Joe stomps away on Hangman, digs his boot in, and scrapes Hangman’s face.

Joe runs, but Hangman gets up, BOOT ATTACK! Joe falls into a corner, and Hangman HAMMERS him with the boot! The fans rally as Hangman runs and CLOBBERS Joe with the boot! Cover, ONE!! Joe is still toughing it out, but Hangman scrapes Joe again. Hangman puts the boot back on and he stalks Joe to a corner. Joe sputters with the crimson mask pouring, but Hangman CHOKES him on the ropes! Hangman stops, then wipes the blood off his hands. But Joe gets up to CHOP, CHOP, CHOP! Hangman fires back, but Joe ROCKS Hangman! Joe fireman’s carries, Hangman slips free and LARIATS!

Joe stays up so Hangman runs again, for another LARIAT! Joe is still up, so Hangman runs again, only for Joe to THROW him into the steel! The fans boo but Joe has gotten even with Hangman now! The ref checks Joe, Joe just spits blood that’s poured from his own forehead, and now Hangman is bleeding! Joe HAMMERS away on Hangman’s head to make it worse! Joe then ROCKS Hangman, but Hangman fires back! They brawl, Hangman gets the edge, and he runs, but into an ELBOW! Hangman is sent back into steel from the impact! The fans rally as Joe paces. Joe drags Hangman up, CHOPS and JABS him against the steel!

Joe runs to ELBOW and PELE Hangman! Hangman flops against the steel, blood pouring out, and Joe’s got a full crimson mask now. Joe GRINDS Hangman’s face into the steel! The fans boo but Joe stops to then drag Hangman back into the ring. Joe ROCKS Hangman, CHOPS him, but Hangman fires body shots! Hangman runs, but Joe SNAP POWERSLAMS! Cover, TWO! Hangman survives, but this is only getting worse with ever second the blood pours. Joe drags Hangman up, and he ROCKS Hangman! And JABS! And CHOPS! And JABS! Hangman just gets mad! Hangman takes JAB after JAB, then he ROCKS Joe in return!

The fans rally as the punches keep going, but then Joe pokes Hangman in the eyes! Hangman avoids the boot, but Joe then gets around to GERMAN SUPLEX! Hangman lands out to CHOP! And he THROWS Joe at the steel! And then the other side! Then a BIG back suplex! The fans fire up as Hangman rises again! Hangman storms up on Joe again, underhooks the arms, but Joe wrenches out! COQUINA CLUTCH! Hangman drops down, victory roll, TWO! But Hangman has a COQUINA CLUTCH! Joe endures and reaches out, fights around, and rises up. Joe RAMS Hangman into the corner, but then Hangman dodges. Joe URENAGES Hangman down!

The fans rally, Joe wipes blood from his eyes but his forehead is still in bad shape. Joe RIPS a buckle pad away! Joe stalks Hangman, takes aim, but Hangman stops from hitting the buckle! Joe fires forearms on Hangman, but Hangman fires back! Hangman goes up the ropes, but Joe CHOPS him! Joe tucks Hangman in, but Hangman BITES Joe’s ear! Hangman SHOVES Joe away, then adjusts up top, only for Joe to LOW BLOW JAB! Joe climbs up, tucks Hangman in again, but Hangman CLUBS away on Joe’s back! Hangman HEADBUTTS again and again, then SMACKS Joe off the steel! SUPER SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB!

The fans fire up as Joe flounders away. Hangman goes to Alabama Lift! That’s way too much weight! But then SHIBATA is here?! Guess the “surgeon” did the job. Hangman KICKS at the door so Shibata won’t try anything, but the distraction is enough for Joe go crawl away. Shibata grabs the world title belt to steal it?! The ref reprimands as Shibata now climbs the cage from the outside! BUT WAIT! Eddie Kingston rushes out here! He drags Shibata down, they brawl, and the fans fire up! But then Joe CLOBBERS Hangman into the ref! But Hangman Alabama Lifts! DEADEYE! Cover, but the ref is down! Hangman would’ve won three times over by now!!

The fans boo and Hangman is beside himself! And now HOBBS is here!? The Powerhouse did not need as much time to recover as we thought, and then he RIPS the chain off the door?! Hobbs storms in, but Hangman fires hands! Hobbs SHOVES Hangman away, then swings with the belt! Hangman dodges, and he LOW BLOWS Hobbs! Hangman THROWS Hobbs into the steel! Joe is up, COQUINA CLUTCH!! The fans boo as Joe squeezes tight! But Hangman RAMS Joe into the bare buckle! Hangman goes to the door, he finally has room to slingshot, BUCKSHOT!! Cover, but the ref is STILL down!

Hook rushes out here and he tells the ref to wake up! Hook grabs the world title belt, and then he smirks?! HE CLOBBERS HANGMAN!!! The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil is indeed cold-hearted, and then he takes off his jacket to reveal AN OPPS SHIRT!! Hook was Opps all along!! The fans boo but now Hook sets the title belt in place. Joe hauls Hangman up, MUSCLE BUSTER on the belt!!! Cover, JOE WINS!!!

Winner: Samoa Joe, by pinfall (NEW AEW World Champion)

New Jersey is torn, but there’s nothing anyone can do about it! It took FOUR Opps to bring down one Cowboy, but in the end, Joe is back on top! The Opps have the trios titles and they have THE world title, are they truly #NeverLacking? Wait, what’s going on with the lights? When t he lights come back up, a HOUSE is burning! Whose House? Well, Prince Nana is here, so that means it is SWERVE’S HOUSE!! Joe is absolutely stunned as the Most Dangerous Man in AEW has finally returned, a brand new theme song to commemorate the occasion! Joe has his “Opps Dojo” stand down so that they can welcome Swerve into the ring.

Joe thinks he’s serving Hangman up on a silver platter for Swerve, but the fans are losing their minds just seeing Swerve back. Swerve does see the bloody, battered Hangman on the ground, and he steps into the ring. Swerve looks at The Opps, looks at Hangman, and takes off his nice leather jacket so he doesn’t get blood on it. But not Hangman’s blood! He THROWS HANDS WITH THE OPPS! The dojo guys swarm Swerve while Joe bails out! Swerve fights them all o ff, and that’s about a dozen men! Wrench and lift, Swerve BOMBS one onto the rest! Then he slips around another guy for the BACKBREAKER!

Another gets a BOOT, and then another BOOT! Gator roll and deadlift BRAINBUSTER! Then a leg pick on the big guy! Swerve traps the arms, and he stares Joe right down as he STOMPS the arm!! SOMERSAULT FLATLINER for the next two! Then one last unfortunate soul sits back up, and he gets the HOUSE CALL!! The fans are thunderous, but then Hangman finds another guy getting up! Hangman LARIATS that guy inside out! Cowboy glares through caked blood, Swerve stares with clear vision, but they both have their eyes on the man who stole the gold from us all. Will these former enemies be unlikely allies against The Opps?

My Thoughts:

An awesome Full Gear, and also their bloodiest. In fact, probably the bloodiest night, let alone PPV, AEW has ever done, and it’s kinda wild that they went this far. I will say, it kinda fit that they did the No Holds Barred and the No Disqualifications (which ended up the same as No Holds Barred by rules anyway) back to back. Great stuff in those matches, and both fed their faction stories greatly. In fact, the stories for Death Riders and Don Callis Family tonight were both great, some real highlights of the night.

For the former, Pac of course cheated to beat Darby, should’ve expected that. But then with all the violence Moxley and O’Reilly committed on each other, great move for O’Reilly to win. Pac stayed away at the end there, too, that could be hinting at something. It certainly feels like the group should question Moxley’s ability to still lead them, and I would love to see the Continental Classic force the issue by pitting Moxley against one or more of the Death Riders. It’d be a great parallel to the Callis Family. The dysfunction between Okada and Konosuke obviously cost them the CMLL trios titles, but I like that Fletcher expected them to help cheat during the No DQ match. Briscoe winning was the right choice, but I like that the loss has now made Fletcher distrust the others, and those will be great C2 matches.

The Bucks sticking with Alexander and Callis during the Million Dollar match was a unique twist, as it kept the Don Callis Family strong despite The Bucks not joining up. The Elite reuniting is great, and unless Kenny is in worse shape than he looked at the end, I could see them do their own 5v5 with the Callis Family at some point. Though, we just got Blood & Guts, Anarchy in the Arena already happened, and I don’t think they’ll do Stadium Stampede, so maybe it’ll be a traditional tag match at Worlds End or for the holiday specials.

Great Fatal 4 Way tag team match for the ladies, and it was a tough call on who would and who should win that match. Triangle of Madness teasing their twisted idea(s) made them a front runner, but Julia & Skye are also younger and smaller than all the rest, they were not likely to win a big match like this. Toni & Mina might give us that Taipei Death Tag after all since they won and will need something crazy to overcome the physical strength of Megan & Marina. But either way, Toni & Mina still feel like the overall best choice for winning the tournament with everything going the way it’s been going.

Awesome tag match from Brodido VS FTR, though I’m really surprised they pushed that many false finishes. But I suppose with FTR winning their third tag title reign in AEW, it had to be insane and over the top. Bandido definitely showed guts standing up to FTR to the very end, major points for him there. There’s always the chance of a rematch, but Bandido also has the ROH World Championship to worry about at ROH Final Battle in a couple weeks. Not sure who it’ll be that challenges him, and even then I don’t see that guy winning, no one in exclusively ROH feels built up for it.

The National Championship Casino Gauntlet was great stuff, and a part of me figured they wouldn’t waste time sending out a third person to break up Lashley VS Shelton. Ricochet being that third made sense, but Ricochet winning the whole thing was actually quite the surprise. We got great interactions from everyone else, too, can’t wait to see a few of these guys get into the C2. The belt looks great, it has the old school look of perhaps the 70s and 80s. Ricochet will also have to turn around and start a feud for Final Battle since it was already promised that this title would show up there, but I would think Ricochet wins to then take this title to CMLL and maybe even NJPW.

Kris VS Mone 3 was perhaps their best one yet, though I think the fans were really tired by this point. Or they were a bit worried that Kris’ arm was actually injured, she did that good of a job with it. Mone hitting a string of 14 standard suplexes was great stuff, as was Mone and Kris both hitting moves that were basically from Bayley. Kris winning was the right call, she needed this to solidify herself as champion, and it can kickstart Mone’s downfall where she goes from #UltiMone with thirteen belts to being just the Face of TBS, and maybe still Undisputed ROH Women’s TV Champion. For that matter, maybe she defends the ROH Women’s TV title at Final Battle, too…

Oh, great stuff in the Tailgate Brawl, too, though I’m a touch disappointed they pulled the exact same “overrun” move they just did in October. The $200K match was a lot of fun, but I’m also disappointed they didn’t give Bowens & Caster the win there. QT & AJ were of course winning, that was the right move in story as well as marketing with how fans just really like The Costco Guys. Eddie & Hook having a match was just filler to get us that “overrun,” and to also let us know Hook was in the building. Hook revealing he was Opps, either again or all along, was the crux of the cage match that I just knew was coming even a couple weeks ago.

That steel cage match was great stuff, though more bloody and gritty than anything. And given the Hook twist, it did rely on the overbooking of bringing Shibata and Hobbs out there, then the ref bump, all a smokescreen for Hook’s turn. But then that made Swerve’s return even greater because he got to whoop all those Opps grunts and stand side by side with his most hated rival. They were both pseudo-apologizing to each other last time they were both active, I wonder if Hangman and Swerve will try to bury the hatchet this time around. Either way, it is clear they’ll both chase Joe and that title, who knows what happens by the time we get to Worlds End.
