The Infantry and Big Bad Shaney T. himself started some beef with Beef, and that upset Anthony Henry & JD Drake. Will the Saint of Augusta and Scrap Metal help their kinfolk get his biggest win ever? Or will ROH still belong to STP?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and it’s time to rumble, bad man, rumble!

The teams sort out and Henry starts against Bravo. Henry offers the Code of Honor, but Bravo slaps it away. The bell rings and the two circle while the fans rally up. Bravo taunts Drake and Beef, then ties up with Henry. Henry wrenches, Bravo wrenches back, and ELBOW BREAKER! Henry rolls, handsprings, and wrenches back to step over and arm-drag! The fans cheer, Henry arm-drags again, and Henry has the armlock. Henry whips Bravo to the corner, forearm SMASH, then tag to Drake. Drake LARIATS Bravo, Henry NECK TWISTS, and Drake slingshot SENTONS! The fans cheer and Drake storms back up on Bravo.

Bravo CHOPS, but Drake CHOPS back! Bravo snarls and CHOPS, but Drake CHOPS! Tag to Beef and the fans fire up! Feed to the HIP ATTACK! Beef says kiss this, and he runs up to ROCK Bravo! And ROCK him again! And then JAB, JAB, JAB! “BEEF! BEEF! BEEF!” Beef is ready to flip, flop, and fly, but Bravo distracts the ref so that Dean can trip Beef up! The fans boo, but then Dean SLAMS Beef against the apron! Tag to Shane before Bravo GUILLOTINE KNEE DROPS, then Shane adds the GUILLOTINE LEG DROP! Beef flops down while the fans boo, but Shane shouts, “This is what we do out here!” The ref reprimands but Shane drags Beef up to put in the ring.

Shane stalks Beef, Beef fires body shots, but Shane HEADBUTTS Beef down! Beef ends up in the STP corner, Shane stands him up, and Shane winds up to CHOP! The fans fire up and Dean says, “That’s a man! That’s a man right there!” Shane drags Beef up, Beef fires more shots, then fires elbows on Dean and Bravo! But Shane RAMS Beef into the corner! STP mugs Beef and the ref reprimands, but the ref also has to keep the Workhorsemen back. Tag to Bravo, he taunts the Workhorsemen, then SPLASH! Shane sends him back in, CARLIE CROSSOVER! Shane BLASTS The Workhorsemen, then he SPLASHES Beef!

Tag to Dean, and the Captain hits the BRONCO BUSTER! Bravo laughs, “That’s disgusting!” Dean covers Beef, TWO! Dean clamps onto Beef with a facelock, Beef fights up, and the fans rally behind Beef. Beef fires body shots but Dean CLUBS away on Beef. Dean tags Bravo, then feeds Beef to Bravo. Bravo ducks the haymaker to lift, Dean joins in, NECKBREAKER BACK SUPLEX COMBO! Tag to Shane and he goes up, DIVING BODY PRESS! Cover, Henry breaks it! The fans are torn but Shane snarls. Shane drags Beef up and keeps him from his second-cousin-in-law. Shane whips Beef to a corner, runs in, but Beef cartwheels to dodge!

Shane hits buckles, Beef runs back in, DROPKICK! The fans fire up as Shane and Beef are both down! They both crawl, hot tags to Dean and Henry! Henry LARIATS on Dean again and again, then whips. Dean reverses, Henry KNEE SMASHES and whips through, POP-UP KNEE! Then a CHOP, and a GERMAN SUPLEX! Henry gives back the trash talk to Bravo, then forearm SMASHES Dean! Tag to Drake, feed to a HAYMAKER! Then a lift, ASSISTED POWERBOMB! They flip Dean over, DOUBLE KNEE SANDWICH! Drake covers, Bravo breaks it! Henry is after Bravo, TOSSES him out, but Shane runs up!

The Workhorsemen dodge, Henry fires off a strike fest! ENZIGIRI! Drake RAMS Shane at the ropes to then BELLY2BELLY! The fans fire up and Drake tags Beef! Dean is on the ropes, the Workhorsemen send Beef in for the HAMHOCK! The fans fire up as Beef then pushes Dean back in, but then Shane & Bravo drag the Horsemen out! Ogogo distracts the ref, but Dean has no one to tag either! WAIT! Is that Rush!? El Toro Blanco BELT SHOTS Beef!! The fans boo but Bravo sets up with Dean, TWO2DAHEAD!! Cover, STP WINS!

La Faccion Ingobernable also have their own beef with Beef, and they made sure Beef and his friends didn’t get the gold! Then The Infantry mugs Beef some more! Shane talks trash, then he winds up to DECK Beef! The Infantry then drag Beef to the drop zone, Shane goes up, BUT WAIT! Team Sky Flight rushes out here! Scorpio Sky, Dante Martin & Darius Martin told everyone that they’ve got next, will they make that crystal clear with their own Six Man Tag victory tonight? In fact, that match is next!

Six Man Tag: Team Sky Flight VS Matt Menard & The Kingdom!

The teams keep the Code of Honor, the fans cheer, and the teams sort out. Darius starts against Mike Bennett and the fans rally up. They tie up, Mike wrenches and waistlocks, but Darius headlocks to then chinbar Mike into a cravat. The fans rally and Mike endures. Menard gets fans to cheer on “MIKE! MIKE! MIKE!” Mike wrenches but Darius rolls, kips up, and waistlocks to SLAM! Darius floats, rolls Mike to a cover, TWO! Mike runs up but into an arm-drag! Darius has the armlock and the fans rally behind him now, but Mike fights up and headlocks. Dante tags in as Darius powers out, then atomic drop to BULLDOG KNEE SMASH COMBO! Cover, TWO!

Mike is tougher than that but Dante stays on him. Mike shoves free, dodges Dante, tag to Taven! They whip Dante, POP-UP BOSTON BAYONET! Cover, TWO! Dante is tougher than that but Taven runs up, SPLASH in the corner! Taven whips, Dante reverses, but Taven goes up and over. Taven keeps moving, Dante hurdles, then he goes up and over! Scorpio ROCKS Taven, Dante JUMP KNEES, then Scorpio tags in so he can slingshot and whip! Darius joins in and Top Flight DOUBLE DROPKICKS! The fans cheer, then Scorpio tags Darius. Darius brings Taven around, UPPERCUTS him to a corner, then whips corner to corner.

Taven stops short of the corner, rolls under the lariat, and he ENZIGIRIS! Hot tag to Daddy Magic! The fans fire up for Matt Menard as he fires forearms. Menard whips, Darius reverses, and Menard tumbles out! Darius builds speed, but Bennett trips him! Bennett drags Darius out, BOSTON BAYONET! Then Taven WRECKS Darius with the dropkick! Menard fires forearms, then he climbs up. Menard rains down fists, the fans count along, and Menard goes past TEN to about FIFTEEN! The fans fire up and Menard then tags Bennett. Menard holds Darius in place for Bennett to stomp and CHOP! But Darius CHOPS in return! Darius ROCKS and CHOPS, then DROP- NO, Bennett catches the legs! Bennett CATAPULTS Darius into Taven’s GAMANGIRI! Darius falls back, Taven slingshots, ELBOW DROP BACKBREAKER COMBO! Cover, TWO! Darius survives but Bennett stomps him down. Bennett drags Darius up while Christopher Daniels, Leila Grey and the fans all rally for Darius.

Bennett CHOPS Darius to the ropes, then CHOPS again. Bennett bumps Darius off buckles, winds up and LARIATS in the corner! And LARIATS again! And again! ROH Women’s Pure Championship Tournament Quarterfinal: Deonna Purrazzo VS Trish Adora!

The Virtuosa vows to win this tournament because she declares this division exists for her and because of her! But will she prove that as truth and not theory? Or will the AfroPunk make Deonna regret overlooking her so easily?

The Code of Honor is upheld, if just barely, and the bell rings. The clock is ticking as Deonna dares Adora to take her free shot. Adora does, but Deonna dodges! And then Deonna ROCKS Adora with a right! Deonna use her one warning and the fans boo, but then Deonna eggs Adora on again. Adora runs up, Deonna dodges, and she hits a headlock takeover. Adora rolls free, then headlocks for a takeover in return. Deonna rolls, has the leg, and she has the standing toehold. Adora kicks, and kicks, and kicks free! Then she BOOTS Deonna down! The fans fire up with Adora and she vows to break Deonna!

Adora brings Deonna up, cravats, and neck wrenches. Deonna endures, Adora fires KNEE after KNEE, and then she snapmares. Adora KICKS Deonna in the back, the fans cheer, and Adora brings Deonna back up. Adora has the arms for a motorcycle stretch! She then steps over, grinds the arms and the hips, then makes it a cradle, TWO! Deonna is up but Adora has the cravat again. Adora KNEES Deonna, then hits a CUTTER! Cover, TWO! Deonna stays in this but Adora stays cool with plenty of time on the clock. Adora drags Deonna up, but Deonna fights the suplex! Deonna wrenches free, then WRINGS the arm!

Deonna hobbles away to a corner while Adora clutches her arm. Adora rises, runs up, but Deonna dodges. Deonna runs up, blocks a boot, and THROWS Adora down! Deonna goes up, up, and FLYING KNEE DROPS the bad arm! The fans boo but Deonna soaks up that heat. Deonna drags Adora up, wrenches, and RUSSIAN LEG SWEEPS! Then FUJIWARA ARMBAR! Adora scrambles, ROPEBREAK! The ref counts, Deonna lets go, and that is Adora’s first of three at four minutes in. Deonna reels Adora in, but Adora Alabama Lifts! The fans fire up, Deonna fights the lift, but Adora makes it a jackknife bridge, TWO!

Adora kicks low, whips Deonna, but Deonna goes up, under, and then they knuckle lock! Adora has the advantage in this Test of Strength, and Adora kicks Deonna’s arm to then STRAIGHT ARM LEVER! And then STRAIGHT ARM LEVER! Adora grinds her elbow into Deonna’s shoulder, has a top wristlock, but Deonna endures. Deonna fights up, the fans rally, and Deonna HEADBUTTS Adora down! Adora falls on the cover, TWO!! Deonna is stunned but she hurries to cover again, TWO! We’re only five minutes in, still really early, but Deonna fireman’s carries. Adora ducks a lariat to waistlock, but Deonna fires elbows! Adora drops down, BASEMENT GERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO! Adora stays in the bridge and the fans fire up! Adora rises, fires herself back up, and she suplexes Deonna! Deonna fights it, tries to suplex back, but they go back and forth! The fans rally as the lifts get higher and higher, Adora suplexes high and hard! Cover, TWO! Deonna survives and Adora roars! The fans fire up with Adora as she powers up her arm! Adora waits on Deonna, runs up, LARIAT TUB- NO! Deonna ducks and Adora hits ropes! Then Deonna wrangles Adora, FUJIWARA ARMBAR!!

They feel things out, knuckle lock, but Lee backs off. The fans boo but Lee and Mack reset. They circle, tie up collar ‘n’ elbow, and Lee headlocks. Mack slips through, wrenches, hammerlocks, then headlocks. The fans applaud but Lee powers Mack with a chinbar to the ropes. The ref counts, Lee lets off at 4, and he kicks low! Lee headlocks, but Mack throws body shots, Mack powers up and out, Lee RAMS Mack but Lee falls over! Mack is “surprised” to see Lee down!

Mack then sets up, runs, but Lee gets up, only for Mack to RUN him over! Mack runs again, Lee stays low, then he gets up to HIP- NO, Mack stops the toss and scoops Lee! Lee slips free, waistlocks, but Mack swivels them hips before the switch. Lee goes to ropes, bucks the O’Conner, but Mack ducks ‘n’ dodges to JUMP WIZARD! Zayne drops, Blake handsprings, then Blake arm-drags! Zayne arm-drags! Dropkicks cancel out and both men kip up! The fans fire up as the two reset! Blake drops an ELBOW, then he clamps onto an arm. Blake CLUBS Zayne in the ribs again and again! Then he tags Lee in and The Swirl mugs Zayne. The ref counts, Lee pushes Zayne down and stomps away. The ref counts, Lee stops, but Blake digs his boot in! Mack protests and the fans boo while Lee argues with the ref! Blake stops before he’s caught, then Lee drags Zayne up. The Code of Honor is upheld, the bell rings, and we’re on the clock. They fans rally as the two circle, Komander rolls but Lee stays back. The two tie up, Lee wrenches and wristlocks, but Komander rolls, cartwheels, and wrenches through to top wristlock. Lee stays up and spins through to then waistlock, full nelson, spin and cravat. Lee snapmares Komander and has the motorcycle stretch. The fans applaud, but Komander rolls and rolls. Komander gets inside to trip Lee, and he has the leg. Lee headscissors, but Komander rolls and turns Lee over. Komander traps the legs and has a full nelson!

Lee endures, slips one of his legs free, and he stands up to wrench in return. Lee wristlocks, the fans rally, and Komander wrenches to whip. Lee rolls to leg sweep and cover, ONE! Komander sweeps but Lee avoid the splash! Lee clamps on, BORDER CITY STRETCH! Komander hurries his way around, ROPEBREAK! Lee lets go and that is Komander’s first as we reach two minutes deep. We approach the halfway mark as Abrahantes coaches Komander. Lee drags Komander up, KNEES him again and again, then DOUBLE KNEES Komander down! Cover, TWO!

The fans cheer “DUVAL~!” with the count while Lee clamps on with a cravat. Komander endures and fights up as the fans rally again. Komander fires body shots, then KICKS and headlocks. Lee back suplexes, Komander lands out, but then Lee wrenches and hooks Komander up! IRON OCTOPUS! Komander endures, he hobbles with Lee’s weight on his back, and he falls into the ROPEBREAK! The ref counts it, that is the second of three. Lee points that out to Komander but we’re nearing four minutes left. Komander shakes the legs out but Lee is on him with a half nelson. Komander spins through, but Lee suplexes.

Komander slips free, and he has a HIGH COBRA TWIST! Lee endures, but Komander shifts to a COBRA CLUTCH! Lee reaches out, ROPEBREAK! That is Lee’s second, and both men are down to just one! Komander sunset flips, TWO! Lee stands, Komander tilt-o-whirls and schoolboys to a high stack, TWO! “DUVAL~!” Lee swings, Komander knuckle locks to CHOP, KICK, and KICK! Komander goes up, up, jumps around and around, then FLYING RANAS! Lee tumbles, the fans fire up, and Komander gets moving! Lee ducks a kick, Komander kicks low, DDT! Cover, TWO! We are under three minutes so time is on Komander’s side!

The fans rally up as Komander rises again. Komander wants to go to a corner but Lee anchors him. Lee UP KICKS, victory rolls, TWO! Komander runs up, he dodges Lee’s lariat, but Lee dodges in return. Both men run the ropes and DOUBLE BOOTS take both men down! The fans fire up and a standing count starts. We also hit the two minute warning, and Lee is up at 5 of 10. The fans rally, Lee and Komander stagger, and Lee runs up! Komander dodges, Lee hits buckles, and Komander runs back up! TORNADO DDT! Lee flounders, Komander covers, TWO!! Lee survives but Komander keeps the fans fired up!

Komander hurries as he goes to the apron. Komander then springboards, double jumps, MOONSAULT! Cover, TWO!! Lee survives, but Komander rolls him at the one minute warning! They go around and around and around, SEATBELT! TWO!! Lee swings, Komander blocks, Lee KNEES! Lee waistlocks, O’Conner Roll, TWO! Komander has the GEDO CLUTCH into the JAPANESE- NO! REAR NAKED CHOKE!! Komander flails, but there’s still 30 seconds on the clock! Komander fights, the fans rally, and Komander pushes back to a cover! TWO, Lee takes a swing but Komander wrenches, kicks, and then hooks Lee with a leg!

Komander wrangles Lee to an omoplata, and a BOSTON CRAB!! Lee flails, reaches out, TIME IS UP!!

Time Limit Draw; Komander earns a future title opportunity

Komander has mixed feelings on this result. On one hand, he wanted to prove he could beat Moriarty definitively. On the other hand, he still has his title shot! Komander tells Lee that he was that close, will it be Komander’s win when there’s more time on the clock? Or will #TAIGASTYLE use this time to prepare the perfect game plan for victory?

My Thoughts:

A very good episode for ROH at just over 90 minutes, though with plenty of filler. Granted, this was mostly from ROH in Daily’s Place as part of the Homecoming event, so it was nice for all these stars to get their time in front of the AEW “home crowd.” Great match from The Swirl VS Zayne & Mack, and Jay Lethal watching backstage was good story build. Great win for The Swirl, I feel like Blake and Lethal will have one more match down the line to help establish Blake as a major part of this new generation in ROH.

I also appreciate that Shane Taylor Promotions is also becoming a major part of ROH. The ROH World Six Man titles made a great opening match, and LFI screwing over Beef & Workhorsemen for their own feud was some classic stuff. Sky Flight rushing out there to make the save was good, as Sky Flight wants their feud with STP. Really good match with Matt Menard & The Kingdom, but of course Sky Flight wins. I’m sure we’ll build to STP VS Sky Flight for Final Battle next month next. Adora VS Deonna was a really good Pure Rules match, but I figured Deonna would win. As I’ve said before, the Women’s Pure title should really come down to Deonna VS Deeb.

Lee VS Komander was an awesome Proving Grounds match, and a time limit draw to give Komander his title match is great stuff. That can also be a Final Battle match, they’ll definitely set a high bar. Plus, commentary mentioned the AEW National Championship’s first defense will be part of ROH Final Battle, that’s big stuff no matter who wins the title at Full Gear in two weeks. ROH Final Battle 2025 could stack up to be one of the best ever.
