Becky Lynch vs. Sol Ruca Set for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

On Monday’s Raw it was announced that Sol Ruca will face Becky Lynch in a non-title match this Saturday in Fort Wayne, IN on WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. The challenge came after Ruca, who has yet to notch a main roster win, confronted Lynch in an interview and later called her out in the ring; Lynch agreed to the non-title showdown but dismissed Ruca’s suggestion of an Intercontinental title match.

Also added to Saturday’s card: Brie Bella and Paige will defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against former champions Nia Jax and Lash Legend. The tag title defense follows Paige and Bella’s successful win over Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez on Raw and a post-match angle where Liv Morgan and The Judgment Day attacked until Lyra Valkyria and Bayley made the save; the May 23 SNME lineup also features Penta vs. Ethan Page for the Intercontinental Title, The Vision vs. Street Profits for the World Tag Team Titles, and a six-woman tag matching Rhea Ripley/Charlotte Flair/Alexa Bliss against Jade Cargill/B-Fab/Michin.
