Blake Monroe Eyes John Cena Classic, Names Potential WWE Opponents
WWE’s Blake Monroe says she’s eager to compete in the upcoming John Cena Classic, telling Marca she wants to headline the tournament and prove her in-ring skills. Monroe singled out past NXT rival Tatum Paxley—citing “unfinished business” after Paxley put her in a casket—while also naming Kendall Grey and several new European additions as dream opponents.
Monroe also praised Asuka amid retirement rumors, calling her one of the best in the world and expressing a desire to wrestle her before she calls time on her career. Signed to WWE in 2025 and recently confirmed for SmackDown, Monroe has yet to make her main roster debut but said she’s ready whenever the call comes.
