Femi answered in the ring, signed the contract and warned that “this time, I’m fighting to kill him,” setting up their rematch for Sunday.

Lesnar’s status has been murky since he seemingly retired at WrestleMania 42—removing his gloves and boots in the ring and being moved to WWE’s alumni section—yet he attacked Femi during last week’s open challenge. Backstage, Heyman told Adam Pearce Lesnar remained retired but confirmed there was a contract with Lesnar’s name on it for the Clash in Italy bout, making the match official.
