Indi Hartwell Re-Signs with TNA Wrestling
Former NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell officially re-signed with TNA Wrestling during the May 14 episode of Impact when Director of Authority Santino Marella interrupted Daria Rae’s on-air announcement and confirmed Hartwell’s return. Hartwell, who was released from WWE in 2024 and joined TNA in May 2025, had been a focal point of a contract storyline on Impact that culminated in this on-screen renewal.
The contract angle saw Rae repeatedly reminding Hartwell of her impending free agency while Hartwell helped Marella secure reinstatement after a suspension, setting the stage for the re-signing. The segment also set up World Champion Mike Santana’s title defense against Steve Maclin on the May 21, 2026 episode of Impact.
