Reigns entered to demand recognition, only for Fatu to refuse and attack; Jey and Jimmy Uso were laid out trying to intervene. The brawl spilled to ringside as Reigns landed a Superman punch and used a chair, but Fatu countered with a superkick, multiple Tongan Death Grips, a suicide dive and ultimately powerbombed Reigns through the announce table before sending all three cousins through the barricade, leaving Fatu standing as the show went off the air.

The confrontation continues the intense feud that boiled over at Backlash, where Reigns eked out a victory thanks to an exposed turnbuckle while Fatu still applied the Tongan Death Grip post-match and took out officials before departing with the World Heavyweight title. Reigns insisted after the pay-per-view that Backlash would be Fatu’s last night in the company, but Monday’s attack made one thing clear: the rivalry is far from over.
