JBL: WWE Talent Cuts Are ‘Part of Any Business’ After WrestleMania
John “Bradshaw” Layfield weighed in on the wave of WWE releases that followed WrestleMania, saying roster cuts are an unfortunate but standard part of doing business. JBL did not place blame on WWE for the departures, framing the moves as routine personnel adjustments that occur across industries.
Drawing on his experience in the sport, Layfield suggested fans and talent take a long-term view of the shakeup, noting companies often reshape rosters after major events to refresh direction and opportunity. His comments reflect a pragmatic perspective that these decisions, while difficult, are part of organizational evolution.
