Jim Ross Praises Finn Balor’s ‘Demon’ Persona, Urges Restraint
Veteran announcer Jim Ross said he’s a fan of Finn Balor and the darker “Demon” character the former NXT champion brings to WWE television. Ross praised the persona for adding gravitas and star power when used sparingly, calling it an effective storytelling tool that can elevate big moments.
At the same time, Ross warned that overusing the Demon could dilute its impact, advising WWE to reserve the character for special matches and key story beats. He believes maintaining the mystique will keep Balor’s alter-ego fresh and meaningful for fans.
