Lyra Valkyria Eyes AAA Crossover, John Cena Classic; Names Kelani Jordan as Dream Opponent
Lyra Valkyria told Soundsphere she’s eager to compete in WWE’s newly announced John Cena Classic and singled out Kelani Jordan as a dream opponent after working with her frequently at the WWE Performance Center. Valkyria praised Jordan’s “fantastic work ethic” and said the tournament is a chance for someone to “step up” and be the next breakout star.
Valkyria also reiterated interest in crossing over to Lucha Libre AAA, calling the Mexican style “a whole new world” she hasn’t yet experienced, and noted Bayley recently made her AAA debut in March after responding to Flammer’s open challenge. Valkyria and Bayley are currently pursuing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles as Valkyria eyes both international opportunities and a run in the Cena Classic.
