Marie Malenko Among Four New WWE Performance Center Recruits
WWE announced a four-person rookie class at the Performance Center, adding Mason Rook, Nicole Martinez, Marie Malenko (billed as Lacey Simon) and Marcus Brown. Malenko, the daughter of Four Horsemen member Dean Malenko, attended a WWE tryout earlier this year and brings overseas experience from Pro Wrestling NOAH while her father currently works behind the scenes in AEW.
Mason Rook has already appeared on NXT and recently teamed with Kam Hendrix in a television victory over Tony D’Angelo and Myles Borne, while Rook’s UK background and NOAH experience have drawn praise from figures like John Cena. Nicole Martinez is best known on the indies as Nikki Blackheart and worked a dark match at last night’s NXT, and Marcus Brown — a former bodybuilder — came to WWE following a 2025 tryout.
