NJPW Best of the Super Juniors 33 Night Seven: Kasai Shocks Wayne, Robbie X Halts Titan’s Streak in Kyoto

On May 24 in Kyoto, NJPW’s Best of the Super Juniors 33 Night Seven saw Jun Kasai upset Nick Wayne in the main event, while Robbie X handed Titan his first loss of the tournament. With every competitor having completed six matches, Titan still tops A Block with 10 points; Master Wato and Jun Kasai sit at eight, Nick Wayne, Ryusuke Taguchi, Robbie X, Kosei Fujita and Francesco Akira are tied on six, Valiente Jr. has four and Daiki Nagai remains winless on zero.

Other A Block results included Kosei Fujita over Taguchi, Master Wato over Valiente Jr., and Francesco Akira over Nagai, and the undercard delivered several tag-team victories as Hyo, YOH & KUSHIDA, Ryohei Oiwa & Robbie Eagles, Zane Jay & Jakob Austin Young, and Daisuke Sasaki & Masatora Yasuda all scored wins. B Block remains tightly bunched as well — Daisuke Sasaki, El Desperado, SHO, YOH and Taiji Ishimori each have six points, while Robbie Eagles, Jakob Austin Young, Yoshinobu Kanemaru and Hyo sit on four and KUSHIDA has two.
