Parker Boudreaux says WWE released him days after receiving a pay raise

Parker Boudreaux, who debuted in WWE NXT in 2021 and quickly received the Harland character, told F4WOnline that his release from WWE was a shock — coming just weeks after he received a pay raise. Boudreaux praised his time at the Performance Center and noted how rare it can be to get TV time, but said he was blindsided by a call from John Laurinaitis citing budget cuts; he also highlighted further growth from training in Japan and remains open to returning to WWE in the future.

After WWE, Boudreaux landed in AEW following tryouts and spent more than two years with the company, but said injuries within his storyline and a wrist sprain contributed to his eventual release. He spoke highly of AEW locker-room mentors like Swerve Strickland and Kenny Omega, praised Tony Khan and the AEW staff, and said the experiences abroad and in both promotions have prepared him for future opportunities while he continues his career as OPW Global Champion.
