Prominent Figure Declines Participation in TNA Three-Part ‘Dark Side of the Ring’ Special
A prominent name has reportedly declined to take part in a three-part TNA Wrestling special slated for Season 7 of VICE TV’s Dark Side of the Ring. The decision comes as producers assemble interviews and archival material for the multi-episode look at the company’s controversial history.
The refusal could limit first-hand perspectives for the series, though VICE TV and the show’s creators are expected to move forward with available sources and documentation to complete the installment. WWE To Push Fatal Influence After Impressing Creative Team
According to a new report, WWE’s creative team has been impressed by the faction Fatal Influence and plans to feature the group more prominently on programming. The change in creative direction suggests the group’s recent work and crowd reactions have caught the attention of decision-makers backstage.
The reported shift could lead to increased television time, stronger storyline placement, and potential roles on upcoming pay-per-views as WWE looks to capitalize on the momentum. Fans can likely expect to see Fatal Influence elevated in the coming weeks as creative tests how far to push the act.

Sareee, Persephone Expected To Compete In Owen Hart Women’s Tournament, Khan Says
AEW revealed the full bracket for the women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament on Dynamite, featuring surprise debuts from Sareee and Stardom star Hazuki alongside reigning CMLL Women’s Champion Persephone. Questions arose after Sareee announced a month off for “neck maintenance” and Persephone was pulled from ROH Supercard of Honor; Sareee is slated to face Skye Blue while Persephone is booked against Hazuki, with those matches on opposite sides of the bracket. Persephone last wrestled on the April 22 Collision in a tag match and had been scheduled for the first-ever women’s Survival of the Fittest before being removed.
AEW president Tony Khan told media at Supercard of Honor that both Sareee and Persephone are expected to compete in the tournament as planned, but their quarterfinals will likely be pushed into June rather than held immediately, with the eight-woman finals set for late June at Forbidden Door. Bryan Alvarez reported that as of Wednesday night all participants were still expected to compete.
