R-Truth Not Medically Cleared for WWE SmackDown; Damian Priest to Face Tama Tonga
SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis announced on social media that R-Truth is not medically cleared to compete on this week’s WWE SmackDown. Truth had been scheduled to team with Damian Priest against Talla Tonga and Tama Tonga, but will now be replaced and is sidelined indefinitely.
As a result, Damian Priest will take on Tama Tonga in a singles match. WWE has not provided a timeline for Truth’s return, and his length of absence remains unknown.
