Reginald Says He Nearly Main-Evented WrestleMania 37 in Proposed Triple Threat

Former WWE performer Reginald told Rewind Recap Relive that Vince McMahon once wanted to turn Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 37 into an intergender triple threat by adding him to the match. Reginald described a meeting with McMahon, producers and writers where McMahon pitched a storyline of him romancing Banks and then revealing himself as the third competitor — a plan that reportedly left both Banks and Belair bewildered and was ultimately dropped.

Reginald added that even if the idea had gone ahead it may not have come to pass, noting he tested positive for COVID the day of WrestleMania and missed a planned appearance with Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. The ex-WWE talent, who performed under names including Reggie and Scrypts from 2020–2024, also said he’s close to a deal with AEW/ROH and has already worked ROH tapings with a new character, Soleil.
