Sheamus Pushes For WWE’s First-Ever Irish PLE, Even Suggests WrestleMania
WWE star Sheamus has publicly expressed his hope that the company will soon stage its first-ever Irish Premium Live Event (PLE), going so far as to suggest that Ireland could even host a future WrestleMania. The longtime performer pointed to the passionate fanbase and growing market in Ireland as strong reasons for WWE to bring a major show to his homeland.
A landmark Irish PLE or WrestleMania would be a major milestone for both WWE and the Irish wrestling scene, drawing international attention and significant economic impact. While logistics and WWE’s global scheduling will be factors, Sheamus’ advocacy amplifies calls from fans and talent alike for a big-time event on Irish soil.
