SmackDown Sees Viewership Uptick to 1.279 Million on May 8
Wrestlenomics reports WWE SmackDown on May 8 drew 1.279 million viewers on USA Network, up from 1.15 million the prior week on May 1. The Friday episode also posted a 0.29 rating in the 18–49 demographic, an increase from the previous week’s figure.
The rise in both total audience and the key demo represents a positive trend for SmackDown as WWE continues to contend for cable viewership. These gains will be monitored closely as WWE moves into its summer programming stretch.
