SmackDown Viewership Dips to 1.184 Million, 18-49 Rating Hits Low
Friday night’s WWE SmackDown averaged 1.184 million viewers on the USA Network, a 7.4% decline from the previous week and the show’s second-lowest audience since February 27. The program posted a 0.23 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 20.7% week-to-week and the lowest demo rating since January 23.
Even with the drops, SmackDown topped the prime-time cable charts, nearly doubling the next-highest cable program, though it finished fifth across all television. Year-over-year totals were softer — overall viewership fell 8.2% and the 18-49 rating slid 36.1% — and the show was down 12.7% in viewers and 30.3% in the demo versus its recent 10-week averages (1,355,500 viewers, 0.33 18-49).
