WWE Files Trademark for Blake Monroe’s “The Glamour” Ahead of Potential SmackDown Call-Up
WWE filed a trademark application on May 19 for Blake Monroe’s long-used nickname “The Glamour,” a move that strongly suggests the company is preparing for her SmackDown main roster debut. Monroe’s moniker has been featured in NXT, on her merchandise and in recent vignettes airing after WrestleMania, and she’s been spotted backstage at recent SmackDown events despite not yet appearing on television.
The trademark filing lists services such as wrestling exhibitions, broadcasts, fan club activities and online sports entertainment content, signaling a full-scale main roster push. Monroe, a former NXT Women’s North American Champion who has trained with Shawn Michaels and is eager to learn from Triple H, could potentially debut as SmackDown visits London on June 23 — her hometown — making a near-term call-up increasingly likely.
