WWE Files Trademark for Potential New Video Game Title “WWE Hard Hitters”
WWE submitted a trademark application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on May 15 for the name “WWE Hard Hitters,” listing a wide range of video- and computer-game-related goods and services, including game software, discs, cartridges, online video games and titles for wireless devices and global networks.
The filing is the latest in a string of WWE submissions this month, following a May 10 application for “WWE Super Scramble” (also for video game purposes) and several May 8 filings that included “Samoan Werewolf,” “NXT Global Heritage Invitational,” and clothing marks like “Earn The Day” and “Head of the Table.”
