Zoey Stark Teases New Ring Name ‘Zoey Serrano’ and Nickname ‘The Purist’
Zoey Stark has hinted at a new ring name and persona following her WWE release, changing her social handle to “Zoey Serrano” and sharing a promotional video about her injury comeback and training. The clip, which showed her working out alongside AEW’s Brian Cage, teased the nickname “The Purist” and included hashtags referencing WWE, AEW and TNA.
In the video Stark spoke passionately about wrestling being her purpose — “this is what I believe I was put on this Earth for” — and vowed to show fans more after her recovery, adding, “if I’m good now, imagine what it’ll be like when my 90 days are over.” Stark was released by WWE in April and has been out of in-ring action since suffering a torn ACL, MCL and meniscus on May 19, 2025.
