So Kyle thinks that it is time for them to take some revenge. Kyle thinks it is time to bring the International Championship back to the Don Callis Family! Kazuchika Okada steps in and Kyle says speaking of! How’s Okada doing? Okada says he’s good. And Kyle is right, it is time for them to bring the title back home. Kyle says let’s do it! AEW TBS Championship Survival of the Fittest Qualifier: Hikaru Shida VS Zayda Steel!

The Shining Samurai has been chasing history, wanting to finally be the Face of TBS, which would make her the second woman ever to have held that title and the AEW Women’s World Championship in her career. However, The Real Deal wants to prove that’s not just a nickname, she wants her chance to shine. But will Zayda jump right into her second Survival of the Fittest? Or will Shida prove she’s the only one fit to survive?

The bell rings, both women rush up, and the forearms fly! The fans fire up as the two are fast ‘n’ furious already! Zayda CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS, but Shida THROWS her down by her hair! The fans are torn but Shida stomps and kicks Zayda around, then rains down fists! The ref reprimands, Shida stops, and she clamps on a headlock. Zayda powers up and out, but Shida RUNS her over! Shida keeps moving, she rolls over the dropdown, but Zayda dodges. Shida stops the arm-drag and stands Zayda up to KNEE low! Shida bumps Zayda off buckles, then climbs up to rain down fists! The fans count along, and Shida goes to nine, then winds up for a flurry!

The fans cheer but the ref counts, and Shida backs off. Shida got maybe ten more in there real quick, then she drags Zayda up. Shida reels Zayda in but Zayda fights the suplex. Zayda fires body shots, then runs to tilt-o-whirl RANA! The fans rally up, Zayda whips Shida, but Shida reverses. Zayda reverses back, Shida reverses again, and Shida runs up, only for Zayda to dodge! Zayda UPPERCUTS, then rolls to run and SHINING WIZARD! Snapmare and SHOTGUN! Shida bails out, the fans fire up, and Zayda builds speed, only for Shida to block the kick! Shida drags Zayda out to the apron, CLUBS away on her, then lines up a shot.

Shida runs in and KNEE LIFTS! Zayda dangles, but Shida has a half straitjacket. Shida talks trash, says the title will be hers, and she SHOVES Zayda down while Collision goes picture in picture.

Daniels coaches Zayda, but Shida refreshes the count before she drags Zayda up. Shida brings Zayda around to SMACK off barriers again and again and again! Shida DRIBBLES Zayda off the barriers, then lets her drop. The fans cheer while Shida warns Daniels to back off. But Zayda hits back! Zayda CHOPS and fires forearms, but Shida knees low! Shida CHOPS Zayda against the barriers, then pushes her back inside. Shida storms up on Zayda and clamps on a chinlock stretch! Zayda endures being bent back, but Shida HIP DROPS before she pulls on the hold again. Zayda endures so Shida scoops and SLAMS her! Shida then bends Zayda back again!

Zayda claws at the hold, reaches out for ropes, and crawls forward, but Shida traps an arm for a partial CAMEL CLUTCH! Zayda still fights, still reaches out, and her free arm gets the ROPEBREAK! Shida lets go in frustration but she drags Zayda up. Shida snap suplexes Zayda into buckles! Shida drags Zayda to a cover, TWO! Zayda clutches a leg but she toughs it out. Shida kicks free, but Zayda slips around to waistlock, O’Conner Roll, TWO! Zayda rebounds, FLYING FACEBUSTER! Then an ENZIGIRI! The fans rally as Zayda rises, and she runs to DIVE! Direct hit and down goes Shida! The fans fire up for Zayda as she hurries to get Shida into the ring. Zayda shakes out the bad leg, hurries to cover, TWO! Shida survives but Zayda stays on her. Zayda chicken wings the arms, turns Shida around, but Shida KNEES the lower back!

Shida whips Zayda to ropes and JUMP KNEES her down! The fans duel as Shida stands Zayda up to ROCK her! Zayda ROCKS Zayda! Shida ROCKS Zayda! Zayda shakes that off to ROCK Shida! Shida fires a flurry of forearms, then eggs Zayda on. Zayda swings, Shida blocks, and she ROCKS Zayda! Then BUZZSAWS! Shida drags Zayda back up, talks more trash, then winds up, but Zayda ducks the shot to swing around! Shida stays up, but Zayda shifts into an IRON OCTOSPU! But Shida swings through to pull the hair and CLAW the eyes! Then a suplex, FALCON- VICTORY ROLL! TWO!! Shida escapes and KNEES Zayda!

Shida runs, SLIDING KNEE! Cover, TWO!! Zayda survives and the fans fire up again! Shida snarls, hauls Zayda up, and she hits a FALCON ARROW! But Shida doesn’t bother covering, she drags Zayda around to have the leg! Over-the-shoulder crab, and she wants the arm! Zayda endures, fights, but Shida manages a STRAITJACKET! Zayda TAPS, Shida wins!

Backstage interview with The Opps.

Lexy Nair is with Hook, Katsuyori Shibata & Anthony Bowens, nothing they are without their leader, Samoa Joe, right now. Bowens says no need to worry there, because The Opps’s future is brighter than ever! It is Pride of Pro-Wrestling Month, and he is in the best shape of his life! He feels invincible, all thanks to Samoa Joe. Joe has taught Bowens to choose violence, and that violence will lead The Opps back to the top of AEW, and back to championship gold! So Cincy, please do him a favor. Rise to your feet, extend your hands, and give The Opps the standing ovation they so proudly deserve!

Hook tells Bowens to stop, enough of that. The Opps don’t care about applause, they care about destroying everything in their path. Shibata, tell ’em. Shibata tells Bowens in Japanese to knock it off. Yeah, so don’t act like you’re the leader, Bowens. Hook & Shibata are day on Opps, Bowens is the new guy, so know your place. Bowens asks what’s going on with Hook. He knows Hook has been Opps since day one, but they’ve been boys since day one. This isn’t about being friends, this is about violence. This is The Opps, a group of killers. Understand? Bowens smiles and nods and says yeah, he’s got it. Good.

Hook tells Lexy that when you talk to The Opps, you talk to him. Hook leads the way out, and Bowens says not to worry about that. But will The Opps (not) be fine without Joe?

Dez DROPKICKS Austin, then Zach BRONCO BUSTERS! The fans cheer each bounce, but Aaron runs in. Dez BODY BLOWS, then KICKS! Zach KICKS Aaron, Dez SPIN KICKS, Zach DOUBLE STOMPS! The fans cheer The Rascalz as they UPPERCUT the Atlas Brothers, then run to UPPERCUT the other!

Myron and Knight reset, the fans chant “Young Goat!” The two tie up, Myron waistlocks, Knight switches, repeat. Myron arm-drags Knight, and Knight backs off as he sees superkick! The fans cheer as Myron says he was that close. The two reset, and Knight kicks low! And UPPERCUTS! Knight rains down fists on Myron, the fans boo, but Myron gets away to the apron.

Knight pursues, but Myron breaks free! Myron avoids a shoulder to GUILLOTINE LEG DROP! The fans fire up as Myron goes up, leaps, but Knight dodges! Knight blocks, jumps the sweep, but Myron dodges the boot. Myron comes back, goes Matrix, then he PELES Knight down! The fans fire up for Myron while Knight flounders to a corner. Myron runs corner to corner, Knight puts him on the apron, but Myron slingshots back in for a MONKEY FLIP! Knight flounders out of the ring, but Myron takes aim! PLANCHA, but Knight moves! Knight TOSSES Myron out, then wants a ring count. The count does start, Knight talks trash on the fans, then he goes out after Myron. Knight CHOPS Myron down, then looms over him. Myron tries to push Knight away but Knight stands him up for an UPPERCUT! Knight puts Myron in the ring, stomps him around, then stomps him at the ropes! The ref counts as Knight stomps and stomps, then even CHOKES Myron! The ref backs Knight off, but Knight comes right back to stand Myron up. Knight CLUBS Myron, throws body shots, then snapmares Myron for a basement SHOULDER TACKLE! Knight flexes, covers, but he’s too close to the ropes.

Knight complains to the ref, but he stomps Myron around while Collision goes to break.

Summer Blockbuster returns as Myron runs up, but Knight clinches. Myron fights, flips, and victory rolls, TWO!! Knight escapes, Myron dodges a shot, but Knight ducks a roundhouse, only for a HOOK KICK to hit! The fans cheer as Myron wrenches and lifts to SLINGSHOT BACK SUPLEX! Both men are down and the fans fire up again! The fans rally for Myron but Knight sits up first. But then Myron kips up! Myron CLOBBERS Knight, CLOBBERS him again, then whips. Knight reverses but Myron BOOTS Knight first! Myron runs, Knight ducks the next boot, but not the SUPERKICK! Myron fireman’s carries, swings, and DRAPING FLATLINERS! Cover, TWO!

Don Callis is relieved seeing Knight survive that #HangFive. Knight flounders out of the ring, but Myron builds speed, only for Knight to scramble away. No dive this time, but Myron waits on Knight to return. Myron runs up but Knight puts him on the apron. Myron slingshots back in, but Knight stops the flip to put Myron up top, in the UPPER ROOM! Knight scoops to BACKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Knight is furious, but he drags Myron to a drop zone. The fans boo but Knight climbs, only for Myron to spring up after him! Myron goes to the very top, but Knight fights the lift. Knight fires forearms, then SHOVES Myron down to the ramp.

Knight hops down, ROCKS Myron, then goes up the ropes. Now Knight works to deadlift- STUN-DOG MILLIONAIRE! Myron gets Knight again, then he uses the ramp as a runway to FLY and CUTTER! Knight flops to the apron, Myron just reloads, and FALLING CUTTER!! “This is Awesome!” as Myron hurries to get Knight in the ring! Myron springboards, NO CAP SPLASH! Cover, ROPEBREAK!! Knight survives because of his long legs! Myron is beside himself, but the fans rally up behind him. Myron drags Knight up, fireman’s carries, but the back won’t let him! Knight hurries to bring Myron up, but Myron lifts again!

Knight CLAWS the eyes, ROCKS Myron in the back, then back suplexes, but Myron lands out! Knight dodges, clinches, but Myron fights with elbows. Knight still tries but Myron arm-drags and cradles, TWO!! Knight escapes, Myron dodges, and Myron SUPERKICKS! Myron whips, Knight goes up and over, but Myron goes Matrix again, only for Knight to DROPKICK! Then short arm ripcord, URENAGE! Cover, Knight wins!

Even with those big leaps in and out of the ring, it was this “Crash Landing” that ended it for Myron. Callis celebrates with his new golden goose, but will The Jet still be 2Fly for the Summer?

“Tony Khan called me the Cinderella Story, but I ain’t no Cinderella. I am the It Girl, Maya World, and this is the opportunity of my life. And with everything in my soul, I’m taking it.” Maya is ready, but will the world be ready for Maya?

Athena whips corner to corner, runs in and handsprings to SMASH her again! Athena snapmares Tiara, fires up again, and she pushes Tiara around. Tiara fires body shots, then ROCKS her! Athena scowls, then runs up, but Tiara dodges to roll Athena, ONE! Tiara tries a backslide, ONE! Tiara trips Athena to a jackknife bridge, TWO!

Athena is up to SHOTGUN Tiara down! Then she ROCKS Tiara off the apron! The fans fire up while Athena scowls, runs, and DIVES! Direct hit into the railing! Athena puts Tiara in the ring, reels her in, and says it’s over! ATAXIA into the KOJI KLUTCH!! Tiara TAPS, Athena wins!

Athena THRASHES Tiara before letting her go, and she stands tall with a determined look on her face. But Athena isn’t done, as she HAMMERS away on poor Tiara! The Dogs VS The Young Bucks!

David Finlay & Clark Connors think they’re next in line for the AEW World Tag Team Championships, just because they jumped Cope & Cage two week ago and beat them down. But Matt & Nick Jackson won’t let anyone cut in line in front of them! Will there be a Superkick Party in Cincinnati? Or will The Rebel & 100 Proof put themselves front and center of the title picture?

The teams sort out and the fans cheer The Bucks as Nick steps to Finlay. The two circle, tie up, and Finlay grabs an arm to wrench it and wristlock. Nick uses the ropes to flip through, then he headlocks in return. Connors tags in as Finlay powers up and out, but Nick reverses. Nick and Connors both drop down, then drop down again, and Nick sends Finlay into Connors! Then Nick kicks and whips but Finlay reverses. Lee kips up and the fans cheer legit wrestling during a street fight! But then Moxley sneaks up on Lee, and he DECKS Lee with a forearm! Moxley climbs up, he rains down fists, and the fans count along! Moxley goes past ten because he doesn’t have to stop from a ref count! He gets to 20 before Shane and Bravo attack! Dean joins in, they all stomp away, but the fans boo. Adora and Marina scrap on the outside, and Adora has a SLEEPER!

Oh no, Shane brings out knuckle dusters! The Infantry set Moxley up for the BRASS HAYMAKER!! But they aren’t going to stop, they just beat up on Moxley more! Moxley’s been busted open, but CLAUDIO is back! UPPERCUT on Shane, UPPERCUT on Bravo, and then a flurry of UPPERCUTS for Dean! And then for Bravo! The fans fire up as he fires off fast hands on Bravo, then UPPERCUTS! Shane is up but Claudio UPPERCUTS! Claudio suplexes Shane?! The fans go nuts and Claudio throws off his shirt. Claudio ROCKS Bravo, runs up on Dean, but Adora stands in the way! Adora dares him to do something, but he dares her to do something first.

Adora CHOPS Claudio, and he takes off his lucha mask. Adora CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS, but then Shane ROCKS Claudio! The fans boo, but then Claudio SPINEBUSTERS Shane! Adora CHOPS Claudio on the back! Moxley sits up with his bloody face and even he knows that was a mistake. Adora CHOPS Claudio again, and he turns around to stare her down. Adora CHOPS, but he blocks! Adora apologizes, but Marina KICKS the leg out! Marina then tells Claudio to swing that b*tch! Claudio is reluctant, but he still does it! He SWINGS Adora around until TEN, and Marina DROPKICKS her down! The fans fire up as Moxley then TOSSES Bravo!

Summer Blockbuster goes picture in picture as Shane ROCKS Moxley, and the brawl is back on! Moxley ROCKS Shane, CHOPS Shane, and repeat! Pac CHOKES Dean with a chair, Bravo SMACKS Garcia off the apron, and Bravo has the camera follow him as he goes to commentary. Bravo taunts Nigel, and takes Nigel’s own cup of water to SPLASH him with it! Lee rushes over to reprimand Bravo, but Nigel takes off his headset. He’s had all he can stand and he can’t stand no more! Nigel wants after Bravo, Lee gets between them both, and Garcia rushes in! Bravo sends Garcia into Nigel! Garcia feels awful, but then Lee & Bravo mug Garcia!

Bravo leaves Garcia behind while Claudio RAMS Shane into railing! Lee CLAWS Moxley’s back, Garcia CHOKES Bravo using the padding from the barriers, and Marina HAMMERS away on Adora. Moxley SMOTHERS Lee, then CLAWS his back! And he goes from top to bottom before he then CLUBS away with crossface forearms! Dean ROCKS Moxley, Marina POSTS Adora, Shane puts Claudio on the apron. Shane goes up and GUILLOTINE LEG DROPS, right as Collision goes to break.

Summer Blockbuster returns once more, and we just missed the BBC, the Bronco Bustin’ Captain. STP says it’s done now, along with a lot more trash talk, but Claudio gets up and under Dean while Moxley & Pac set up a table! The fans fire up as Claudio POWERBOMBS Dean down through the table!! STP hears the crash and realizes what happened! Lee is up, but Pac BOOTS him down! Claudio BOOTS Bravo, then Moxley DIVES onto Shane! Pac goes up, up, and he ARIHARA MOONSAULTS STP down! The fans cheer “A E DUB! A E DUB!” for making this all possible. Garcia and Lee brawl, forearm for forearm again and again!

Adora CLUBS Marina with a high heel shoe! Garcia CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS Lee, but Lee CROSS COUNTERS! Lee kicks, but into a DRAGON- NO, Lee stays standing to drop into the ARMBAR, but Garcia rolls him up! TWO, and Lee blocks a shot to wrench and SLEEPER! But Garcia slips around to SLEEPER! Lee snapmares free, runs up, but Garcia dodges! The Cycle of Violence begins! UPPERCUT, ELBOW, LARIAT, and LARIAT, then repeat! Marina even adds a KNEE! Then a feed to the scoop and BACKBREAKER, into a SHOTGUN! The fans fire up with the Death Riders as they stand tall!

Lee bails out, and the Death Riders do the rugby huddle! But then STP rushes in and attacks again! The fans boo but Shane TOSSES Claudio, then Moxley and Pac are also sent out. But Pac sends Dean into railing! Bravo stomps away on Garcia, but Pac brings out a new TABLE! The fans fire up as Pac brings that around, then sets it up nearby. Shane CHOKES Claudio with a chair, but Pac fetches Dean. But Dean SMACKS Pac with his military helmet! Dean storms over and he puts Pac on the table. Marina and Adora scrap on the ramp, and Adora brings Marina over. Adora goes to suplex, BRAINBUSTER on the ramp!

Dean goes to the stage, and he leaps to DIVING SPLASH onto Pac and the table! Dean almost torpedoes himself but he manages to take Pac down! Claudio UPPERCUTS Shane! Then he whips Shane into the steel steps! Claudio isn’t done, he reels Shane in, but Lee jumps on! IRON OCTOPUS! The fans rally as Claudio powers up, and he goes up the steps! The fans fire up but Lee puts on the pressure! Claudio just powers up more, AIR RAID CRASH down through the timekeeper’s table!! The fans go nuts while Moxley can only look on. Garcia whips Bravo to LARIAT him inside-out! The fans fire up with Garcia as he throws off his shirt!

Garcia reels Bravo in, lifts, but wait! Christyan XO is here, and she’s wearing a “DEATH RIDE DEEZ NUTS” shirt. She taunts Garcia, he puts up his dukes, but Bravo waistlocks! Garcia switches, he shoves Bravo at XO, but Bravo ELBOWS Garcia away. XO hands Bravo those knuckle dusters! CARLIE CROSSOVER!! Bravo says go get “it!” XO obeys and she brings out… A chair! Bravo sets the chair up, he and Dean take aim at Garcia! FULL METAL JACKET DOUBLE TAP!! Cover, but Moxley breaks it!! The Infantry mugs Moxley, but he fires off on them! DOUBLE DDT!! Moxley stands while the fans fire up, and he picks up… a spare turnbuckle bar?!

Moxley sits Dean up, raises the bar, but Shane CLOBBERS Moxley! Shane HAMMERS away on Moxley, and we see Garcia is busted open like Moxley. Shane storms around, the fans tell him “CLEVELAND SUCKS!” Bravo helps Shane set up a new table, and they call to Dean. STP has Moxley up, but Moxley SLAPS Shane! Moxley flips Shane off but The Infantry beats him down! STP copies The Shield with the TRIPLE POWERBOMB down through the table!! They even mock the Shield fist bump! But then Marina Shafir stands back up. She’s bloodied, but she has a defiant glare on her face as STP surrounds her. Marina fires off on Shane, BOOTS Bravo, then ROCKS Dean!

Marina ROCKS Shane, but LARIAT TUBMAN hits!! The fans boo but Bravo says this is what Marina gets! Bravo takes Marina’s shoes off and throws them away?! They take the socks, too! Marina tends to wrestle barefoot, but Adora pours out army men and thumbtacks! They stand Adora up and ATOMIC DROP her on the tacks and things! Adora suffers and the fans go nuts!  But wait, Adora just digs her heels in, literally?! She embraces the pain and BOOTS Adora down!! Claudio runs in and DOUBLE LARIATS The Infantry! Then Pac is back, and Claudio hoists him up! Claudio THROWS Pac onto STP!

But Lee DUMPS Claudio! Garcia grabs a leg, Lee KNEES free! Then straitjacket into the FANG! BORDER CITY STRETCH!! Garcia grabs a tack and CUTS Lee’s hand! Garcia turns Lee over in the DRAGON TAMER!! Lee endures, reaches out, but Shane DECKS Garcia! But Marina jumps on for a SLEEPER!! Shane THROWS Marina down! Moxley CUTTERS Shane!! And Shane falls into the tacks! Moxley is all fired up, and he runs corner to corner to LARIAT! The Cycle of Violence begins again! It just goes and goes and goes!

Pac builds speed to LARIAT Shane down!! The fans fire up as Moxley flips Shane off! PARADIGM SHIFT!! Cover, Death Riders win!!

It was a wild one, but the Death Riders wouldn’t have it any other way! Will no one ever outdo them in chaos and violence?

My Thoughts:

A great Collision, though maybe a little too full at the same time. Great promo from Maya World to put things in perspective for her, and very good response from Athena. That’s kinda all we needed really, but I suppose it’s nice for the live crowd to see Athena absolutely destroy an opponent, and then go overboard so as to bring Maya out. I suppose the go-home math does support Maya finding a way to win in the Owen Hart Cup, but it just feels like a shame if we don’t get Mercedes Mone VS Athena in the finals. Good match from Kenny VS Tito but of course Kenny won, and he made it official with ZSJ for Forbidden Door.

Great promos from Thekla, especially her interrupting commentary during the apology. Thekla VS Starlight Kid, one of Stardom’s more highly decorated names, is going to be a great match, but I would think Thekla wins that, even if she has to cheat to keep the Heel Heat and protect Starlight. Great TBS Championship qualifiers, great win for Perse to get back at Julia for the mis to the eyes. I’m actually a little surprised we got Shida VS Zayda when they were both in the hype package from last time, but good showing for Zayda, even in losing to Shida. Kris Statlander has to get into the match now so that she and Shida can fight it out as like the last two.

The Rascalz squashing the Atlas Brothers was a little bit filler, but at least it helped segue into Knight VS Myron. Great showing for Myron, doing his flying cutter twice was wild, especially with how hard he hit the floor on that second one. Of course Knight won, and he was decent on commentary for Doyle VS Bailey. Not sure that match needed to happen here but still a good match. Doyle winning was only moderately surprising, I thought Bailey should get a strong start on his “Callis Family Hunter” run, but nope, he just goes and loses. Very good promo from Kyle, Davis, and Okada, though Davis didn’t say much. While the new dysfunction seems to be Andrade and Knight, the International Championship getting between Kyle and Okada could make for an interesting story.

Great tag match from Dogs VS Bucks, and I figured The Dogs would win given the story with Cope & Cage. Good promo from The Bang Bang Gang, though a bit random. Maybe it should’ve been part of Dynamite instead. And then awesome Street Fight, though it was really just an excuse to have like a Diet Anarchy in the Arena where everyone brawls around ringside while we try to focus on the ring. I will say, Marina shrugging off being barefoot on tacks, toys, and I think broken glass even was a badass way to turn things around on STP. Nigel being part of things was good, too, it helps build more of the inevitable Lee VS Nigel rematch. Great win for Death Riders, though maybe a little surprising. I thought STP was going to start being a force to reckon with, but Death Riders just keep winning.
