He welcomes us to Dynamite: Summer Blockbuster! Let’s open the show by bringing in The Psycho Killer, Tommaso Ciampa! The fans in Cincinnati are torn, but Ciampa indeed makes his entrance. Ciampa circles Schiavone for a moment, and Schiavone says he wants to take us back to a couple weeks ago, but then Ciampa interrupts. Ciampa isn’t here for the song and dance, he doesn’t get paid by the hour, so he wants Schiavone to tell everyone here and watching at home what he told us on Saturday Night Collision: Tommaso Ciampa is better than Chris Jericho. Schiavone says he won’t do that tonight, Ciampa was trying to break a man’s back last Saturday!

Ciampa gets in Schiavone’s face and says he doesn’t know if Schiavone thinks he was asking! He is TELLING Schiavone, “you old, senile bastard,” to tell the world that Ciampa is better than Jericho! Or else, Ciampa breaks SCHIAVONE’S back! Schiavone says, “Tommaso Ciampa is better than-” CHRIS JERICHO IS HERE! The fans cheer and Schiavone gets out of the ring as Jericho steps out on stage. Despite constantly daring Jericho to show up, Ciampa is almost in disbelief that Jericho actually showed! The fans sing along with Judas as Jericho goes to the ring, but then Ciampa shouts, “NO! NO! NO! Cut the damn music! Cut the music!”

Ciampa keeps shouting as the fans keep singing, even as the music does die down. The fans cheer, and Ciampa asks, “Are we happy now? We got the song and dance done with! It’s about damn time Jericho showed up! In the flesh! So, Jericho, what do you have to say for yourself?” Jericho has a mic to say, “Well, honestly, I wanna find out who I need to talk around here to fight somebody that actually has hair.” The fans cheer and chant “BALD! BALD! BALD!” Ciampa says we are NOT doing that! Jericho says wait, wait, wait. He apologizes, that was uncalled for, and true. They got off on the wrong foot, so let’s start over.

“Hi, I’m Jericho.” Ciampa says, “I KNOW WHO YOU ARE! I’ve known who you are your entire damn career, and I think you know who I am. I’m the guy who left your ass lying unconscious two weeks ago, The Psycho Killer, Tommaso Ciampa.” Jericho says, “It’s very nice to meet you, Tommy.” Ciampa says don’t call him that. The fans chant, “TOMMY! TOMMY! TOMMY!” Jericho asks, isn’t that his name? Ciampa says no, you know his name, it is TOMMASO! Tommaso? That’s not very marketable, maybe a little pretentious. And to be honest, “Tommy” looks so much better on a shirt, and it’s so much easier to chant. Right, Cincy?

The fans cheer, and they again chant, “TOMMY! TOMMY!” Ciampa says this is just what he expected from you, Jericho! His mother doesn’t even call him “Tommy,” no one calls him “Tommy,” so Jericho is NOT gonna call him “Tommy!” Wait, his mother? Tommy’s Mommy? The fans chant “TOMMY’S MOMMY!” and Ciampa is getting further upset. Ciampa mockingly applauds, but Jericho says seriously, Tommy, why do you hate him so much? Ciampa had his list of 1004 reasons but he never really said anything. It was the dog’s breakfast of an explanation. So what is it? He doesn’t trust Jericho? Also bald. Does Ciampa think Jericho’s a snake? Bad beard.

Does Ciampa not like the Cruise of Jericho? Goblin face. And Ciampa doesn’t like people singing Judas? Mean Santa. So what exactly is the REAL reason Ciampa doesn’t like Jericho? This entire thing is a joke to him, isn’t it? No, it’s not. Jericho gets in Ciampa’s face as he says it is not a joke that Ciampa left him laying two weeks ago, it is not a joke that Ciampa doesn’t like Jericho, but Jericho does know the reason why: Ciampa is not Jericho! Ciampa came into AEW to a lot of fanfare, and then suddenly Jericho returns and Ciampa realized he wasn’t the big fish he thought he was. That’s made Ciampa a very angry man.

Jericho suggests Ciampa check his attitude now and pull the stick outta his ass… Before Jericho shoves it up there even further! Tommy! Ciampa takes a moment, even as the fans chant “TOMMY! TOMMY!” And then the fists fly! The fans fire up but refs and security rush out here! The fans boo as Jericho and Ciampa are pulled apart, but then Jericho gets loose! Jericho fires off on Ciampa, but they pull him back again! Fans want to “LET THEM FIGHT!” but Jericho is hauled away to the ramp. But then Ciampa gets loose! Jericho is ready, and he TACKLES Ciampa first! The fans fire up as the two scrap on the ramp, until they’re pulled apart again!

The fans cheer, they want to see more fighting! But will the battle of Jericho and Ciampa just have to wait for another time and place?

Kevin Knight & Don Callis arrive backstage.

The Jet & The Jackal are talking about business success, and Renee Paquette walks over for a quick word about, well, everything. The match with Speedball, then calling out MJF, what- Callis stops Renee there. This is not how you blunder into a scene, just throwing questions at the man! This is how it is done. Kevin, we all saw what you did last week, from beating down Speedball to calling out MJF last week. That’s how you get an Emmy! Knight says thanks for asking, but then before he can give an answer, Andrade El Idolo steps in, dressed to compete already. He pardons himself and says he wants the world title. This guy is new! He wants it, too? Tranquilo! Back of the line.

So, Don, are you with The Jet? Or with Andrade? Knight says they’re running outta time, they gotta get going. Now, papi, if you haven’t noticed the REAL AEW champ is here. So watch how he and Don handle business. Adios, amigo. Callis says they gotta go to the ring, but Andrade will get his shot, he has Don’s word. Callis heads out, and Andrade seems very doubtful of that. With no Alpha in the group, who is truly Callis’ number one guy? And what will happen if he chooses wrong?

AEW Continental Championship: Jon Moxley VS Shane Taylor!

The Maniac knows it’s Death Riders Against The World, but it would seem Shane Taylor Promotions wants to change that dynamic already. Big Bad Shaney T already jumped Wheeler Yuta last week, will he take down the leader? Or will Moxley show he can rumble, bad man, rumble?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who wins when it is truly 1v1!

The ref has to remind STP that Continental Rules means no one ringside, so they all exit. The bell rings and the fans fire up as Moxley stares Shane down. Shane talks some trash but the fans chant, “F HIM UP, MOXLEY, F HIM UP!” The two feel things out, tie up, and Shane powers Moxley to a corner. Shane talks trash on Moxley, even as he backs off. The fans boo but Shane and Moxley reset. They circle again, the fans still on Moxley’s side. They tie up, Moxley waistlocks, then headlocks, then armlocks. Shane powers Moxley to a corner, the ref counts, and Shane CHOKES Moxley! The ref reprimands, the fans boo, but Shane stops at 4.

Shane talks more trash, including on the fans since he’s from Cleveland. Moxley gets in Shane’s face as Shane keeps talking trash. Then the forearms fly! The fans cheer Moxley and boo Shane as the shots keep going! Moxley fires shot after shot, then a JAB! Shane BODY BLOWS in return! And BODY BLOWS again! Shane BODY BLOWS a third time and he talks more trash. Moxley leans on the ropes, Shane runs up, but Moxley DUMPS Shane out! Then Moxley WRECKS Shane with a dropkick! The fans fire up as Moxley keeps moving, and he DIVES! Direct hit and down goes Shane! The fans fire up as Moxley keeps after Shane, but Shane ROCKS Moxley!

Shane TOSSES Moxley into the timekeeper’s area! Moxley flounders, Shane refreshes the ring count, and Shane goes right after Moxley. Shane drags Moxley up, BODY BLOWS, but Moxley ROCKS him back! They throw more forearms, then Moxley CLAWS the eyes! Shane CLUBS the arms, ROCKS Moxley, then URENAGES Moxley down through the table! Shane talks even more trash as the fans boo, but Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Shane soaks up all the heat from Cincy while Moxley is still down in the wreckage. The ref wants this back in the ring, and Moxley sneaks a drink of water. Shane goes to the ring, waits on the count, and Moxley drags himself up. Moxley crawls his way to the ring, but is still down at 5 of 10. Moxley rises at 7, but Shane goes out after him! Moxley fires back with forearm after forearm, then whips. Shane reverses, and Moxley hits steel steps! Moxley is down again, Shane talks even more trash, then he THROWS Moxley into railing! Moxley writhes but Shane ROCKS him with a forearm. Shane puts Moxley in the ring, then storms in after him.

Shane talks some trash as he looms over Moxley, then CLUBS him on the back. And HEADBUTTS him down! Moxley stands, he fires a forearm, but Shane BODY BLOWS! Moxley ROCKS Shane, Shane BODY BLOWS again, and Moxley hobbles. Shane stalks Moxley, sits him up, and ROCKS him with a forearm! Moxley rebounds to ROCK Shane! Shane ROCKS Moxley, Moxley ROCKS Shane! Shane DECKS Moxley! Moxley falls to the apron, Shane goes out just to stand on Mox’s face! The ref counts, Shane steps off, but then he brings Moxley around to CLUB away against the apron! Summer Blockbuster returns to single picture as Shane tucks Moxley under the apron skirt!

The fans boo but Shane climbs up. Then he GUILLOTINE LEG DROPS on the apron! The fans boo but Shane mockingly asks, “Is this your king?!” Moxley coughs and sputters as he frees himself from the skirt, but Shane grinds his forearm into Moxley’s face. The ring count is climbing, the fans rally for Moxley, but Shane pushes Moxley back in. Shane runs up on the corner to SPLASH! Moxley staggers and falls while Shane soaks up more heat. Shane stalks Moxley, waits on him to rise, then runs up to SPLASH again! Moxley falls, Shane talks trash, but the fans boo again. Moxley rises, and then SLAPS Shane! AND flips him off!

Shane ROCKS Moxley, then runs up, but into a BOOT! Moxley CHOPS! And ROCKS! And repeat! The fans rally behind Moxley, then he runs to BOOT Shane! Shane wobbles but Moxley runs, and BOOTS! Shane wobbles so Moxley goes again, but Shane ROCKS him! Moxley staggers, rebounds, and LARIATS! Both men are down and the fans fire up again! Moxley rises while Shane goes to a corner. Moxley runs in and LARIATS! Then Moxley climbs up, rains down fists, and he goes to TEN, before he DIGS his fingers into Shane’s eyes, then BITES Shane’s forehead! The ref reprimands, Moxley stops at 4, then he hoists Shane up the corner!

Moxley climbs up, rains down more fists, then CLAWS Shane’s back! The fans cheer, but Shane HEADBUTTS! And HEADBUTTS! And HEADBUTTS again! Moxley drops back, falls down, and Shane adjusts position for a DIVING BODY PRESS! Cover, TWO! We hit the ten minute halfway point but Shane hauls Moxley up. Shane scoops but Moxley slips free, SLEEPER! Shane RAMS Moxley into the corner, gets free, but Moxley ducks the lariat, only for the SOUTHPAW to find him! Cover, TWO! Shane grows frustrated but he clamps onto Moxley with the COBRA CLUTCH! Moxley endures as the fans rally up.

Moxley stands, pries at the hold, and he opens it up! The fans cheer Moxley on as Moxley shifts, but Shane BODY BLOWS! Shane snarls but Moxley ROCKS him! Shane DECKS Moxley! Moxley gets up to ROCK Shane, but Shane ROCKS Moxley! Shane keeps talking trash, then brings Moxley up. Moxley ROCKS Shane! Shane ROCKS Moxley! The fans rally as the shots keep going, back and forth, then Moxley fires a flurry! Shane ROCKS Moxley again, but Moxley staggers around, to CUTTER! The fans fire up as Moxley hurries to push Shane over and cover, TWO! But into an ARMBAR! Shane endures, reaches out, then fights around.

Shane rises to HAMMER Moxley, then he rolls Moxley for a KNEE! Shane rains down furious fists while the fans boo! The ref wants Shane to stop, those are closed fists! Shane says whatever! Shane hauls Moxley up, reels him, and calls his shot! But Moxley trips Shane, and has the ANKLE LOCK! Shane shouts out in pain, but he turns over and BOOTS Moxley away! Only for Moxley to rebound and CURB STOMP!! Then BULLY CHOKE!! Shane is stuck, he has to TAP! Moxley wins!

Shane put up one hell of a fight, but The Maniac always finds a way! But then Shane DECKS Moxley! STP heads back out here, and Carlie gives Shane his literal belt! Shane LASHES Moxley with the belt, then LASHES him again! The fans boo, but The Death Riders rush out here! Daniel Garcia gets mugged by The Infantry while Shane CHOKES Moxley! Marina Shafir hurries but Trish Adora SMACKS her with a kendo stick! Lee Moriarty helps mug Garcia, then they mock the Death Rider rugby huddle. Shane finally lets Moxley go, just so he can drag him into a drop zone. Shane goes up, DIVING BODY PRESS!

STP falls back, having done the damage. Will nothing stop Shane Taylor Promotions from proving they are #THEM?

Mercedes Mone speaks.

Don Callis walks out on stage.

The fans boo, but Callis has a mic to say, “I have a very important announcement! You’re gonna wanna hear this! Ladies and gentlemen, the newest member of the Don Callis Family, one of the greatest athletes in the world, The 1 You Look Up 2, The Jet, KEEEVIIIIN KNIIIIIIGHT~!” With that, the TNT Champion makes his entrance to join Callis on stage, and then walk with him into the ring. Knight hugs it out with Callis, then Callis says, “Ladies and gentlemen, Kevin Knight!” The mic is handed over, and Knight thanks Callis for that wonderful introduction. He really knows how to make a champ feel welcomed in a weird-ass city like Cincinnati.

The fans boo, but Knight says everybody seems upset when they should be upset with Darby Allin. They should be upset with Darby not getting the job done and letting us all down! Matter of fact, they should be mad at Speedball for breaking up the beloved JetSpeed! Knight knows, it hurt him, too. But he knows what they’re not really mad at Knight and Callis linking up and The Jet still being The Face of TNT. The fans chant, “F DON CALLIS!” Knight says all the bums in the back like to wrestle for stars, “Don Perion” saw that Knight was the biggest star of them all, and made him his number one asset.

So that is why Knight & Don are gonna make #Jet2Belts, working on HIS time! Now hey, that signing bonus didn’t hurt, neither. Tonight, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, get your ass out here cuz The Jet’s got something to say! Knight paces as we wait, but instead of MJF, it’s DARBY ALLIN! The fans fire up while Callis runs for it! Knight waits, looking towards the ramp, when Darby sneaks in from the crowd side! The fans cheer as Darby CRACKS Knight with that skateboard! Then Darby HAMMERS away on Knight! The fans fire up for Darby and he grabs the mic to shout, “I hope New York was worth it! I hope New York was worth it, b*tch!”

Then Darby springs up the corner, only for more of the Don Callis Family to rush out here! Darby gets away from Lance Archer, Jake Doyle and Roppongi Vice and out into the night! The fans cheer as Darby gets just a semblance of revenge on The Jet! But will Darby need a lot of back-up if he wants to keep after Knight and the Don Callis Family?

Mark Briscoe talks with Tony Khan.

They seem to be talking about some kind of plan, and TK agrees, that’s a very good plan, a very good solution, let’s go with it! They shake hands on it, but what could that mean? Well, Mark’s music hits so he makes his entrance!

The Jet and El Idolo aren’t the only ones who want after MJF. The Sussex County Chicken confessed that he has some dark, deep-seated anger for The Scumbag, but he seemingly has to earn his way to that title shot. Will beating The Bastard make for a good argument? Or will Pac use Briscoe to send a message to the rest of the roster?

The bell rings and the fans rally for Briscoe. Briscoe and Pac circle, feel things out, and tie up. Pac powers Briscoe to the ropes, smothers him, but the ref counts. Briscoe turns things around, Pac turns things back around, but the ref counts the break. Pac and Briscoe slowly let off, and Pac backs up. The fans applaud and the two reset. Pac and Briscoe circle, feel things out, and tie up. Briscoe waistlocks, Pac switches, but Briscoe wrenches free to wristlock. Pac endures, moves around, and spins through to wrench in return. Briscoe rolls, wrenches, and wristlocks again. Pac uses the ropes to flip through, wrenches, but Briscoe WRINGS Pac out!

The fans cheer while Pac scrambles away. They chant “DEM BOYS!” for Briscoe as he and Pac reset. They circle, tie up, and Briscoe wrenches to hammerlock. Pac reaches back to flying mare free! Then he trips Briscoe, runs, but he handsprings over the dropdown. Things keep moving and Briscoe RAMS Pac down! the fans fire up while Pac kips up! Pac and Briscoe stare down, then Pac pie faces Briscoe. Briscoe pie faces back, and Briscoe eggs Pac on. Pac runs in, Briscoe dodges, but Pac BOOTS him! Pac takes a swing but Briscoe dodges again to CHOP! And CHOPS! And CHOPS again! Briscoe whips Pac, Pac reverses, but Briscoe goes up and out, only for Pac to BOOT him down!

Pac builds speed but Briscoe slides in! Then Briscoe WRECKS Pac with a dropkick! The fans fire up for Briscoe as he stands Pac up, scoops, and SLAMS him on the floor! Briscoe goes up the apron, and BANG BANG, FOLEY ELBOW DROP! The fans cheer again and Briscoe gets Pac up. Briscoe ROCKS Pac, brings him around the way, then CHOPS! The fans rally for Briscoe but Pac kicks low! Pac then suplexes Briscoe to BRAINBUSTER on a chair! The fans go nuts while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

The ref checks on Briscoe, he’s able to continue, but Pac leaves him behind to go to the ring. The ring count starts on Briscoe but he’s still down at 5 of 10. Pac goes out after Briscoe to BOOT him! Pac then wrenches and whips Briscoe into the railing! Pac looms over Briscoe, waits on him to sit up, then fires a forearm. Briscoe eggs Pac on, Pac fires more shots, and they trade forearms back and forth. Pac kicks low, then stomps Briscoe on the back! Briscoe staggers away but Pac pushes him into the ring. Pac hurries to KNEE DROP, then cover, TWO! Briscoe toughs it out but Pac stays focused. Briscoe goes to a corner, Pac storms over, and Pac stomps Briscoe down.

The ref reprimands but Pac digs his boots in. The ref counts, Pac backs off, and he taunts the fans cheering Briscoe on. Briscoe sputters but he rises back up, only for Pac to kick! Briscoe JABS, JABS, JABS, but Pac fires a flurry of forearms! Pac BOOTS Briscoe down, and snarls as Briscoe flounders on the ropes. Pac KICKS Briscoe, Briscoe CHOPS Pac, and repeat! Pac CLUBS Briscoe down, then KNEE DROPS! Pac digs his knee into Briscoe’s back while he clamps on a chinlock. Summer Blockbuster returns to single picture as Briscoe endures. The fans rally, Briscoe fights up, and Briscoe fires body shots.

Pac shoves Briscoe to a corner, but Briscoe ELBOWS him away. Briscoe fires forearm after forearm, then blocks a shot to UPPERCUT! And UPPERCUT! And REDNECK KUNG-FU UPPERCUT! The fans fire up and Briscoe whips. Pac reverses but Briscoe FLYING FOREARMS! The fans fire up again, and Briscoe runs up to LARIAT! And EXPLODER! The fans stay fired up as Briscoe winds up. Briscoe runs up to LARIAT! Briscoe hoists Pac up top to UPPERCUT! Briscoe then crosses the arms, ICONOCLASM right into the cover, TWO! Pac survives but the fans rally behind Briscoe as he stands Pac back up.

Briscoe suplexes Pac into the drop zone, then he goes up the corner! But Pac hurries to get away! The fans boo but Briscoe hops down. Pac is o the apron, and he HOTSHOTS Briscoe away! Pac then slingshots up and over, keeps moving, and he BOOTS Briscoe! Briscoe stays up, and Pac seems unsure what to do. Pac BOOTS again, so Briscoe CHOPS! The forearms fly again, and Briscoe fires a flurry! But Pac SOBATS! Pac runs, but into a BOOT! Briscoe runs, but Pac dodges, SNAP GERMAN! The fans fire up as Pac brings Briscoe up, suplexes, but Briscoe fights it! Pac tries again, Briscoe lands out, but Pac fights the waistlock.

The fans hope these two “FIGHT FOREVER!” as Pac runs, but Briscoe BOOTS back! Briscoe suplexes, but this takes both men up and out of the ring! They fall to the apron then the floor, but the fans cheer “A E DUB! A E DUB!” for making this match possible. Briscoe hurries back up, he takes aim, and he BLOCKBUSTERS on the floor! Briscoe puts Pac in the ring and covers, TWO!! Pac survives, but Briscoe says time to go up! Briscoe climbs, aims, and FROGGY-BOW but onto knees! Pac hurries up top now, BLACK- NO, Briscoe gets away! Briscoe then runs up, but into a CORNER BELLY2BELLY! Pac drags Briscoe into the drop zone!

Pac goes up top again, SHOOTING STAR but onto knees! Briscoe underhooks, JAY DRILLER!! Cover, Briscoe wins!

Winner: Mark Briscoe, by pinfall

A big win for Briscoe, but he makes sure to grab the mic to say, “Now, MJF! I done challenged you for a shot. You said no cuz you a b*tch. But just to let you know, I have a direct path to a title shot. So why don’t you come on out here and lemme explain a little bit better, Max.” Well, wouldn’t you know? MJF’s music hits! But what direct path could Mark mean? We’ll find out, after the break!

Summer Blockbuster returns and…

MJF finally shows up to say, “Cut my music, cut my music.” Except he isn’t entering from the stage, he’s up in the crowd! “Allow me to explain something to all you people from the M-M-M-M-Midwest. We ain’t on Mark Briscoe time, we’re on the champ time. And the champ’s got something to say. Mark, you wanna stand in there week after week after week, and challenge me to a world title. Buddy, you are not a great listener, ok? Lemme explain something, I’m gonna say it for the millionth time: I am the final word here in AEW. I am the law here in AEW. There is no one more important than MJF. And my final word to you, in regards to getting a title shot, is no.”

The fans boo, but MJF says no, listen. “In this business, they say a rising tide lifts all ships. And whether you shmucks like it or not, I am the rising tide of this company! If you ever came near the Triple B, you would be nothing more than an anchor, Mark Briscoe. You people wanna boo me when you should respect me for protecting the world title from him! And you wanna brag about The Conglomeration last week? Ooh, Mark Briscoe has friends! Oh, bless his heart! Friends are stupid. Friends are nothing more than a liability. I have the most important thing int he world: Money! And Mark Briscoe, money talks.”

The fans boo, but then The Lethal Twist attacks Briscoe from behind! MJF says they’re earning their pay! The fans boo but it seems Jay Lethal, Blake Christian & Lee Johnson are getting that money for doing this to Briscoe! Blake & Lee hold Briscoe up while Lethal handsprings, but into a DROPKICK! Briscoe then fires hands on Blake & Lee, stomps away, and MJF is upset that his plan isn’t working! Briscoe reels Lethal in, but Lee SUPERKICKS! Blake & Lee KICK, KICK, and KNEE him down! The fans boo but MJF says that’s right! Briscoe sucks! But speaking of Conglomeration, they run out here to rescue Briscoe!

Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly go after Blake & Lee while Tomohiro Ishii dodges and LARIATS Lethal down! Swerve scowls as he simply looks down at Brody. Brody drags himself up with the steel steps, but Swerve SMACKS him off the steel! Brody puts Swerve up top, ROCKS him, then climbs up. Nana anchors Swerve’s feet but the ref spots him!

Nana backs off, Brody fires hands on Swerve, and the fans duel as Brody brings Swerve up. Swerve resists, Nana anchors Swerve again, but Brody pushes Nana down. Swerve fires hands on Brody, and fans agree to cheer “BOTH THESE GUYS! BOTH THESE GUYS!” Swerve slips under, but Brody clings to the top turnbuckle! The buckle pad rips away, so Brody hurries to grab the ropes! Swerve decides to tuck Brody in, and he CHEEKY NANDOS against the bare buckle! Swerve then repositions Brody, climbs up after him, and he SUPER DUPER BACK SUPLEXES! Both men are down and the fans fire up again!

Swerve grimaces as he sits up, but Nana says that’s all for Brody! Brody sputters, Nana says Swerve has him right where he wants him! Swerve aims from a corner, runs up, HOUSE CALL! A glancing blow, but Swerve hurries to half nelson! Brody ELBOWS free, then runs up! Swerve BOOTS Brody, runs up, POP-UP KILL STOMPS! Cover, TWO!! Brody survives and Swerve is shocked! Brody bails out, Swerve builds speed, and Swerve handsprings, only for Brody to catch him! CHOKE BOMB on the desk! Nana freaks out, then tells the ref to restore order! “This is Awesome!” as both men slowly rise up. Brody stands, and MJF watches this very closely.

The fans cheer Brody on but Swerve brings him around, tucks him in, but that’s too much to lift! Brody BACKDROPS free, then fireman’s carries! DEATH VALLEY DRIVER into buckles!  Brody is dripping blood but he still rises up! The fans bark with Brody as he storms around, but Nana shouts at him! Brody glares at Nana, then snatches him into a SLEEPER!! Brody drops Nana, then CANNONBALLS Into Swerve! Brody drags Swerve up for the PILEDRIVER!! Cover, TWO?!?!

The fans are thunderous as now Swerve survives and shocks us all! But Brody vows to get this one! GONZO- NO, Swerve slips free, shoves Brody at the ref! The ref moves, and Nana SMACKS Brody with something!! Swerve manages to lift Brody this time, VERTEBREAKER!! Cover, Swerve wins!!

Nana tips the scales, and now the Forbidden Door opens for Swerve Strickland! Swerve and Ospreay will meet again, but who will win their shot at the world title for All In: London?

My Thoughts:

A great Dynamite, really close to awesome, but maybe it’s just me. Very good opening promo from Jericho and Ciampa, though as Jericho poked fun at, it was just more Jericho VS Bald. We got a good brawl from them, and at least with Ciampa, there won’t be henchmen helping him cheat to win, Ciampa’s wins and losses will be on his own merits (even if/when he cheats). Very good promo from Mone to call out pretty much everyone, and yes, she’s still a contender for this year’s Queen of Harts. Very good adjustment in the Women’s Owen Cup, what a great moment for Maya World. For those in the know, Maya unfortunately lost her brother in a car accident, our hearts go out to her.

And there’s some serendipity where Maya now faces Athena here in AEW as an extension of their ROH story, and this is going to make for an awesome semifinal. Awesome main event from Swerve VS Brody in their own Owen Hart Cup match, but naturally Swerve won out. Swerve VS Ospreay is gonna be killer, but I would think Ospreay wins that. We got a good little moment of Ospreay and Windsor, I really hope Ospreay gets to live that Wembley dream. Very cool to hear ZSJ is gonna show up in AEW for Forbidden Door, Kenny Omega will surely have a great response promo for Collision or even next week, that match could steal the show.

Great match from Moxley VS Shane, but I figured Moxley would win because for one, they were in Cincy, and two, it just didn’t seem the time for a new Continental Champion. Great brawl right after, and great promo to follow, that Mixed Street Fight is going to be awesome, too. And then a lot of great crossover between Conglomeration, Don Callis Family, and MJF with the world title story. Darby coming back to get Knight was good, that’ll be a great grudge match. Great match from Briscoe VS Pac to then give Briscoe a win and more of a reason to call out MJF. A 6v6 Steel Cage that isn’t Blood & Guts is gonna be really good, and now that Knight gets a title match if Team MJF wins, anything can happen.

Andrade VS Cassidy was an awesome match, too, and Andrade winning is also enough to back his play for the world title. Callis is once again driving a wedge between himself and one of his “family,” without even knowing it, and I can’t wait to see Andrade break up with Callis and maybe join Takeshita, so that we get the closest thing we can to a Callis Family Civil War, Alpha & El Idolo VS Protokada.
