The Secret Ingredient is ready to spice things up by putting her title on the line. However, hyenas are known to eat their prey down to the bone. Will Hera do the same with Red Velvet? Or will Velvet serve her an L fresh from the oven?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who’s hungrier!

Hyena puts some stank on the Code of Honor so Velvet passes. The bell rings, they circle, and they tie up. Hera SHOVES Velvet down, then gets in Velvet’s face. Velvet shoves back, ties up with Hera again, and now Velvet powers Hera around into the ropes! The ref counts but Velvet lets off slowly. Hera pokes Velvet in the eye! Velvet scowls, trips Hera, and rains down fists! The fans fire up but Hera pushes free. Velvet fires off on Hera in the corner, body shot after body shot! The fans cheer but the ref counts. Winner: Red Velvet, by pinfall (still ROH Women’s World Television Champion)

That’s 14-0 for The Chef, will she keep it cooking with this title all the way through the summer?

Lio Rush speaks.

“Once upon a time, there was a fox and a friend. The fox spent years surviving the night. And the friend did whatever it took to shine his light. But little did they know, the rain, it was coming. And it cuts deep. The friend, he began to plea. The fox could no longer see. But then the world had seen… that it’s fine! It’s fine.” The Problem Child is done with story time, will he have his happily ever after?

The Premier Athletes speak.

Mark Sterling claims, “Everybody’s always taking from the Premier Athletes. You’ve got people ringside taking liberties with me. You’ve got other tag teams taking our opportunities, even though we’re undefeated. and you’ve got whoever is running ROH taking this team for granted. Its’ always take, take, take! And we’re always give, give, giving. Well not anymore. Because it’s time for The Premier Athletes to take what we deserve.” Tony Nese tells AR Fox, the ROH World TV Champion, that their history goes way back. And sometimes, Fox got lucky and squeezed out a victory. Other times, Nese beat your ass!

And Fox knows better than anyone that Nese deserves a shot! Hell, Fox knows better than anyone on the roster that Nese deserves to be ROH World TV Champion! So Fox, if you’re man enough,. if you really believe you’re worthy, you’ll put the title on the line so Nese can take what belongs to him. Y’know why? Because Athletes Rule. Nese is getting his shot, will he change all the plans for Global Wars: Cincinnati? Or will this still be the Whole Fox’n Show?

10 Man Tag: Dalton Castle, The Outrunners & Spanish Announce Project VS The Lethal Swirl & Roppongi Vice!

The NEW ROH World Six Man Tag Team Champions already have targets on their back, and they’re teaming up with Angelico y Serpentico to take on the very men after them. Will SAP help The Peacock & Youngest Men Alive be victorious tonight? Or will these “Japanese Legends,” RPG Vice help Jay Lethal, Blake Christian & Lee Johnson step closer to their golden opportunities?

The teams sort out and Truth Magnum starts against The Franchise. Lethal spits on his hand so Truth refuses the Code of Honor, and the bell rings. They circle while the fans rally up, and the two tie up, only for Lethal to KNEE low. Lethal headlocks. Truth powers up and out, then drops down, but Lethal RUNS Truth over. Things keep moving, Truth drops down then takes a swing, only for Lethal to dodge. Lethal then stops himself so he can strut! The fans are torn but then Truth dodges a shot to DECK Lethal! And DECK him again! Truth HIP TOSSES Lethal across the way, then runs up to headscissor! The fans cheer as Truth then TOSSES Lethal out!

Truth does his strut, The Swirl & RPG Vice storm in, but so do Castle, Turbo Floyd & SAP! The ref wants everyone to calm down, and the fans “WOO~” with Truth. The teams back off, and Lethal returns, but he tags in Vanilla Baby. Truth tags in Turbo and the fans cheer! Blake is annoyed as Turbo still wears the belt. They circle, the fans chant, “Belt Stays On!” Blake waistlocks, then he goes after the belt! Turbo stops that, the ref reprimands, but Blake says wearing the belt should be illegal! The two go again, and Turbo scoops Blake, but Blake slips free. Blake whips, Turbo reverses, but Blake goes up and over to handspring.

Turbo sunset flips Blake but Blake rolls through to basement DROPKICK! Blake mocks the spin, then he flips off Castle’s team. The fans boo but Turbo DECKS Blake! Turbo drags Blake up, tags Truth, and they double whip to BODY BLOW, KNEE LIFT, and then the BIG atomic drop! Blake hobbles, Big Shotty runs up, but he gets a BIG atomic drop! Then The Swirl gets STEREO ATOMIC DROPS! The fans cheer as The Outrunners give The Swirl a meeting of the minds! The fans cheer again while Turbo flexes, and Truth wrenches Blake. Truth tags Angelico and he CLUBS the arm. Then Angelico wrenches to wristlock.

Blake fights up, ROCKS Angelico, but Angelico DECKS Blake! Angelico wrenches to wristlock, tag to Serpentico. Serpentico goes up, up, and DOUBLE STOMPS the arm! Lee jumps in and BRAINBUSTERS! Blake BLASTS Turbo, Angelico, and the rest! Lee & Blake stomp away on Serpentico, Rocky joins in, and the fans boo. The ref reprimands, Rocky and Lee back off. Blake tags Trent, they mug Serpentico, then Trent whips Serpentico to ropes for a BIG elbow! Serpentico flounders while the fans boo, but Trent kicks Serpentico around. Trent stomps Serpentico, stays between him and Turbo, but Serpentico fires body shots! Serpentico runs, sunset flips, TWO! Both men stand, and Trent LARIATS! Tag to Rocky and RPG Vice double body shot! They run, Rocky KNEES Serpentico into Trent’s LARIAT! Rocky covers, TWO!

Rocky taunts the fans and soaks up the heat. Rocky drags Serpentico by an arm, mocks the team by holding a hand out, then he stomps Serpentico down. The fans rally but Rocky ROCKS Serpentico with right hands! Rocky rains down shots in the corner, stomps away, then does the slide! World Cup season aside, Rocky soaks up the heat. Rocky winds up, runs at Serpentico in the corner, then LARIATS! Then he LARIATS again! Then Serpentico dodges to DOUBLE LARIAT with Rocky! The fans fire up while both men are down! They crawl, hot tags to Castle and Blake! Castle ROCKS Blake, ELBOWS Trent, then catches Lee to EXPLODER!

Lethal runs up, Castle dodges, and Castle catches the Injection into a GERMAN SUPLEX! The fans fire up as Blake returns, and Castle scoops to SLAM! Winners: The Lethal Twist & Roppongi Vice, by pinfall

The brawl continues on the outside, RPG Vice gets The Outrunners outta the way so they can join Lethal Twist in celebrating! While they want the ROH World Six Man titles, Big Shotty also has his shot at the AEW International Championship! Will Lee prove he’s the real Alpha around here? Or will #TwoBeltTakeshita win the Global War?

ROH World Television Championship: AR Fox VS Tony Nese w/ Mark Sterling!

After fighting so hard for so long just to get one major title, Fox has been putting in the work to be the fighting champion ROH deserves! But “Smart” Mark interrupts Arkady Aura’s introduction to say, “Everybody knows we are the Premier Athletes, and this is Tony NEEESE~!” The fans boo but Sterling says this is “Vacation Land.” That’s a little weird, because when Sterling drives through this place, it’s more like witness protection with lobster rolls. But good news is, Tony Nese wins his first-ever championship in ROH! The bad news is, the footnote in history says it happens in disgusting Portland, Oregon!

The fans boo but Sterling says they gotta do the pregame cheer. When they say, “Athletes,” the fans say, “Rule,” NOTHING ELSE! Oh… “ATHLETES!” “SUCK!” Portland gets one over on Sterling, will Fox make sure to get one over on Tony Nese? Or is Nese about to cancel the Whole Fox’n Show?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who really owns the spotlight!

The Code of Honor is upheld, the bell rings, and the two circle. The fans rally up for Fox as he ties up with Nese. Nese powers Fox to a corner, fires body shots again and again, then  windmills haymakers! The fans boo and the ref counts, but Nese tells them all to shut up. Fox ROCKS and CHOPS Nese, then fires off a flurry! Nese shoves Fox, Fox BOOTS back, then tilt-o-whirls to waistlock. Nese switches, Fox bucks the O’Conner, then goes up. Nese stops the rana but Fox mule kicks to then CUTTER! Nese tumbles away while the fans fire up. Fox runs corner to corner, A-LIST LARIATS, then he rains down elbows all the way to TEN!

The fans cheer and Fox steps back in. Fox snapmares and rolls but Nese shoves the cutter away. Nese bails out while the fans boo, and Sterling is there to coach Nese up. Fox reaches out but Nese trips him up! Nese drags Fox out, but Fox ROCKS and KICKS and SMACKS Nese, but Nese RAMS low! Nese whips, Fox tiger feints on the apron, but Nese ducks the kick to DECK Fox! The fans boo but Nese runs up again, only for Fox to pop him up! Nese goes to the apron, cartwheels to avoid the sweep, but Fox blocks the boot! Fox puts the foot on the apron and he DROPKICKS Nese down! The fans fire up for Fox as he rolls into the ring.

The fans rally as Fox builds speed, and Fox FLIES! Down goes Nese and the fans fire up again! Fox stands on the barriers for the fans to see him as he CANNONBALLS onto Nese! The fans fire up but Sterling protests. Fox scares Sterling, then he goes back to Nese. Fox puts Nese in the ring, but Sterling barks at Fox. Fox scares Sterling off again, Sterling brings up his “hurt” arm, and wait, is that even the same arm as last time? Fox goes up, but Nese trips him up! TOP SHEL FKICK, then a GUT BUSTER DROP! Cover, TWO! Fox survives and the fans fire up again, but Nese CLUBS away with crossface forearms!

Nese wraps on the body scissors but Fox endures. The fans chant “ATHLETES SUCK! ATHLETES SUCK!” Fox fights around, pries the legs open, but Nese switches to a waistlock. Fox fights up, fires elbows, but Nese SMACKS him! Nese runs with Fox to HOTSHOT BULLDOG! “Athletes!” “SUCK!” Nese goes to the apron, but Fox gets him for the DRAPING DDT! The fans fire up as Fox strikes like a Viper, but Sterling coaches Nese. The fans rally again as Fox rises, and he runs up to LARIAT! And LARIAT! Then he goes matrix to dodge a lariat, and he PELES Nese! The fans fire up again, and Fox runs up to ELBOW in the corner!

Fox snapmare rolls with Nese for the CUTTER! Fox goes right up top, he ignores Sterling’s barking, SWANTON BOMB! Cover, TWO!! Nese survives and shocks Fox a bit, but the fans rally up. Fox hurries to bring Nese up, fireman’s carries, but Nese fights the lift. Fox fires elbows, then runs, but Nese follows to trip him up! The fans boo but Nese then triangle jumps to- NO, he has to land out as Fox moves! Fox RAMS in, slingshots to sunset flip, but Nese rolls through to SOBAT! Cover, ROPEBREAK!! The fans fire up but Sterling is furious! Nese hauls Fox up, pump handles, PREMIER DRIVER!! Cover, TWO!!

The fans fire up as Fox lives! Nese argues with the ref but the fans all cheer on Fox. Nese pie faces Fox, throws the durag at him, then slaps Fox around. The fans boo but Fox ROCKS Nese! Nese fires back but Fox ROCKS Nese again! Nese ROCKS Fox, Fox ROCKS Nese, and Fox fires a flurry! But Nese SOBATS, KICKS, but Fox ENZIGIRIS! Fox runs, Sterling trips him up! The fans boo, but here comes Nese! Fox drop toeholds Nese onto ropes, then SLIDE ATTACK DROPKICK COMBOS! Down goes Sterling and the fans cheer again! Fox slingshots into the facelock, ANARCHY! Then Fox goes up, up, and 450 SPLASH!! Cover, Fox wins!

Winner: AR Fox, by pinfall (still ROH World Television Champion)

Nese could not end Fox’s run, and now- ACTION ANDRETTI ATTACKS! The fans boo as Action blindsides Fox and rains down fists! Action throws off his jacket as he huffs ‘n’ puffs like a big bad wolf. Action takes the title belt, he stands on Fox’s face, and he holds the belt up high. But wait! LIO RUSH is here, too! Action throws the belt down and dares his old friend to bring the fight. But the Problem Child doesn’t appear from the stage, he slides out from under the ring! And with that wild smile, he creeps up on Action! Action still wonders where Lio is, but Lio says, “It’s fine!” Action is freaked out realizing what’s going on!

Action swings, Lio dodges, but then Action dodges Lio! The fans boo as Action runs away, but then they cheer on Lio. Action promises Lio, he is gonna END him! Lio says no, no, no, no, no! Lio then looks to Fox and smiles. Are the fox and the friend going to be caught in the rain without an umbrella? Is the Sight to See about to become the star of ROH TV? Or will Fox be ready for Action and Lio in Cincinnati?

My Thoughts:

A very good ROH for YouTube, especially at just over an hour long. Can they keep it like this? Still very good action and story build, but just, y’know, less. Good opening match for the Women’s TV title, but could’ve been smoother. It has been a minute since Hyena Hera has been in ROH, and maybe she just didn’t get her timing with Velvet down. Very fun 10 Man Tag, but #SNAKEMAN taking the loss made sense. Lethal Twist looks strong without immediately getting golden tickets to the titles, and Big Shotty has momentum going into his match with Konosuke Takeshita that he will surely lose.

Shibata dominated Solow in the Pure Rules, Solow had used up all his ropebreaks and Shibata hadn’t used one. Shibata could be building himself back up in the Pure Division to one day go against Lee Moriarty again, that’d be awesome. Zayda had a good showing against Marina, but of course Marina won. And then very good main event, but with the Global Wars match already set, Nese was of course losing. Action and Lio were also of course showing up for this go-home segment, and hard to say what happens. I’m still going to lean towards Fox retaining because Lio and Action are after each other the whole time and lose track of what matters.

My Score: 8.7/10
